"The four hundred signed dre kirkpatrick today. he was in for a visit early in the offseason tried out. It'll work out. They were impressed. They didn't come to an agreement at that time. But now he's in there and David lombardi did tweet out and put in his article that the four hundred had expressed interest in camden slur of the minnesota. Vikings though thing has come of it but it is something to monitor as we go forward the rest of this week and the team is also maintaining an open. Dialogue with richard sherman. Who remains unsigned. So the niners are looking. They are in the market. There are trying to correct. This cornerback room. I think you this. Is this something that could have been you know address in what march april so it E- hell even june july and now we're just sitting here still talking about the weakness of this team which is the cornerback position. You're someone who's been adamant about drafting one early. A day one dayton day one mainly they get one day too but the wrong idea to i would have liked to seen them trade up for a guy like a pulse. Deebo who actually got an interception this weekend and didn't go too far up from From what. Thomas did out of michigan when they forty nine selected him but yeah. It's like i want to say. Oh it's got josh warming coming in. And they'll be fine but it's that's not the case. josh. Norman isn't the two thousand fifteen josh norman. And then drake her patrick. Yeah he's coming in but is he going to be available this week. I i would say not likely considering that josh norman wasn't available on sunday and drake kirk patrick. He has looked better in zone last season. Then in man the forty niners or whatever reason ran more zone on sunday which we were probably expecting a little more but So like there's some fit there if he continues to play at a high level in zone. I'm talking about drake patrick. Because last season he only had sixty six passer rating against stu interceptions no touchdowns giving up which is pretty impressive. But then you look at the game logs in and or the tape especially in look what he did against the seattle seahawks it was ugly was targeted. Twenty times gave up seventeen catches gave up. What like one hundred sixty six yards. In in receiving in two touchdowns no interceptions no pass breakups and the seahawks did what ever they wanted against a drinker. Patrick based off week. One looks like the seahawks may have a better. Oh see than. They've ever had their under a russell wilson era so that's going to enhance the challenge for drake or patrick and gmc those guys Yeah there's a problem there's a problem. I don't know if there's any in season fix at the moment. This is kind of going to be one of those were. You're just gonna have to scrub in and hope it doesn't pop back up and continue to scrub scrub scrub. Hope that nothing. You know dirty pops back up for me. I wouldn't mind if they brought back. Richard sherman but i think at this point they gotta see what's going to happen. Glancing they want is to come into an agreement with richard sherman and then have them end up on the. Nfl's simplest that and then they would have to go ahead and sign somebody else. On top of richard sherman. Now you're allocating your minimal cap room that you already had which was only seven million dollars standard the season and now you've essentially in the spread that arale two corners than just one will see. Just hey no more injuries. Let's go ahead and get a manual mostly back in if emmanuel moseley's back and they are running this more zone that fits moseley as well. So we'll we'll see what happens from there but yet this is just one of those. What is it that the flex seals where he see that mean where he has the little flexible cut out and he just slaps it on says. Hey it's fixed that that's essentially. What the situation is when they signed josh berman. And when they signed drake kirkpatrick. I'm hopeful that this cam dancer thing comes to fruition. I like cam. i liked them. I did i think minnesota was. Should you know. Minnesota's minnesota look what they are on defense. I i you know sometimes it. Is you get placed in in a bad spy. And i think that's kind of issue with camden slur. If i'm not mistaken. I believe he's over six foot and ran like a six hour sees me and ran like four four forty correct. Yeah he was in that range I'm going to the vikings website right now as we speak. Just to check out cams numbers here. But i think you and i and others expressed that the niners needed to either take a wide receiver or a corner in round two this aaron banks thing. That's right now. Looks like a whiff trae sermon missing. week one healthy scratch and then call giving his answer about. Yeah he was the third best running back in the room when you had him playing first team. Reps against the raiders in vegas and then the chief so which is it. Something happened here. There's a disconnect there and then of course trae is not starting so your first. Three picks aren't providing anything of value right now when you should've probably drafted a corner in round two. I know i was excited about the banks. Pick and i did like the sermon pick but we all knew that. Your cornerback room was thin very very thin and i understand the whole we value pass rush over coverage and pass rushes tied to coverage. But also there's there's some there's a factor in here that covers tied to pass rush to right. You still need one corner. You still need something at the cornerback. Position twenty nine hundred nine hundred successful. Yes because they had a good pass rush. But they also had richard sherman whether him shutting down. His third was based on reputation is play smarts. It still happened right. The niners won't have anyone that anybody fears domino. Lenore yes. He had a really nice game. But it was the lions you know. No one's really worried about. Quincy's in tarot williams which you might be worried about. Devante smith jalen ray next week. Then you got devante. Abbas week after that and then got decay and lock it and then hopkins like the gauntlet of wide. Receiver is coming up. If you can't get to the quarterback fast enough from philly. look at thurbers devante. Smith is really good. It looks like julian rigors turned a corner tunnel screen to the house. I think that was the play. I i saw. Who didn't didn't yeah so. He took tunnels into the house. And and philly's got some targets. They you know they also got the two weapons at tight ends as well so you know it. Essentially going to be a walkover from receiving core standpoint late. They were the past two. Three four years is just frustrating and they'd icon. I hope they do this. Cam dancer thing comes out because look the vikings cornerback. Depth chart left corner. Patrick peterson mackenzie alexander harrison. Hand right corner. Rashawn berlin chris bourne cam to answer like cams buried on the death star. Why what happened. How do you go from one last year for this team to c. b. six minnesota's toxic at this moment minnesota's toxic. They need to. They need a new head coach man. it's issues they. They need something different. There in love camden slur. I looked it up. He had one of those kobe. Forty is what i was referring to. When all of sudden everybody was running us up for four when they were performing at their school in pro days yet a four three eight on on his pro day. So i don't know how accurate that is but it's also like what you see on tape see. Getting burnt buys is he. You know is getting burnt by a guy that clocked in four or five or c keeping up with the guy that clocked in four four So it also depends on tape is anyone. Could you know look better than what they are in shorts and a shirt to make gotta fix this. He has keys to ferrari. Don't crash it. Let's get back to what we know stephen can do. Sunday was not a good example of that today..

"They throw it for Dalvin Cook catches at the 10 2 defenders in pursuit. He gets to the sideline before being shoved out of bounds at the 18 by Jesse Bates, an eight yard pick up on the screen to Dalvin Cook. That was a great play by Kirk Cousins just to get the football out of his hand. Because the Bengals came when the slot corner blitz they brought Hilton and he had to backpedal in and then just feathering the ball out of there, but since they threw the screen to where Hilton vacated So once you get the ball out of his hand, the Bengals had to recover five touches so far for Dalvin Cook three runs to catch is second down into the 18. They handed to cook and he is going to pick up the first down, but not by much he needed to in Game three. Running between the tackles. BJ Hill just recently picked up from the New York Giants, making the tackle for Cincinnati as they moved the change here. I want to correct myself, the Bengals generated first out, Joe mixes first down Josh after he caught a screen pass. And then on the next set of downs the Bengals or faced 3rd 12 and couldn't convert and then 123 and out of their second possession. 3rd 19. You can't be in those third and 12th 19 Situation. Five defensive lineman on the field for Cincinnati. Vikings have at 1st and 10 at their own 21 with an offset I. Behind cousin's hand. The fullback is checked back in cousins drops straight back to throw under pressure swept around a sack for B. J Hill has he brings down cousins at the 12? Well, they brought 16 and the Bengals brought six on that play. They brought through it. And and they just overpowered, overwhelmed the Minnesota Vikings. I like the aggressiveness. I like the aggressiveness alive. Bring bring a bunch and then Kirk Cousins will take sacks. There's no question about it. Henderson got up the football field and then 100 Stone made him step up. That's when sex occurring. BJ Hill pushed the pocket that his first sack with the Cincinnati language. Not only do they bring six, but five of the six were defensive lineman. That's a lot of size coming at you. Here's a screen pass that Justin Jefferson he does not get back to the line of scrimmage Mike Hilton from the slot corner spot, making the tackle for one yard loss, and that's what Mike Hilton does. He blitz as well off the slot, and he plays those screens so short passes to the perimeter outstandingly well in the slot because he is a very, very sure tackler. He's probably as good a tackle her on the back end. As there is in the NFL third down 20 for the Vikings at their own 11. Minnesota has to get to the 31. The Bengals have three defensive backs playing near the 30 yard line. Ameer Abdullah has checked in at running back cousins catches The shotgun staff. Standing tall in the pocket. Now under pressure tackled at the one yard line, they're going to market down at the two Larry Ogunjobi getting to Kirk Cousins and the Vikings will putt from the very back of the end zone. The Bangles don't leave, recorded two sacks and again. They got two sacks on this drive. Head out to Mike's car wash to monitor received $5 off Mike Ultimate Wash and say, Thanks, Luanne Romo Appreciate that aggressive posture. That time, though they only brought three nowhere for cousins Go with the ball, and they still got a quarterback sect. This is dicey Dan standing right in the back line of his end zone If he steps out of bounds, that's the safety. Normally a punter stands 15 yards back. In this case, he's only got 11 to work with. Here comes the putt, and it's a great one by Barry Phillips calling for a fair catch, and he makes it at his own 49 yard line. Jordan Barry could not have done that any better considering the circumstances of 49 Yard punt with excellent hang time. One step punch. He only took one step and boomed. It usually punish. Take two. He realized because, as you said, Dan, it was compressed. The only had 11 yards to work with instead of 15 1 step, get it out of there, and he drilled him. With Evan McPherson on the roster if the Bengals can pick up one first down there in field goal range as they start from their own 49 yard line. Burrow in the gun Nixon to his right. Double tight ends. Don't make that two receivers to the right and T. Higgins out to the left borough shifts to the quarterbacks left. They run it up the middle, Joe Makes it down to about the 47 yard line had to do a little. High, stepping near the line of scrimmage to avoid some contact. And then Mackenzie Alexander, the former Bengal made the stop at the 47 4 yard pickup. Eric Kendricks, the linebacker came downhill. He's one because the penetration that made Joe Mixon have to jump step Kendricks came downhill. Couldn't quite make the tackle. But he made Joe Mixon per tail is downhill momentum and have to jump cut to his right hardened tape. And Mike Thomas check in his wide receivers for Cincinnati, Joe Burrow under center on second and six in Vikings territory. First time either team has had it in the opponent's territory. It's a stretch run right for Joe Mixon trying to get to the sideline and dumped by Kendricks at the 45.

"All honesty. And i hate. We've been doing a lot of nonsense on the show. I apologize to. Mike worked out. Mike's gotten mike's gotten a little bit. Bigger this off season and progress. I need a little bit more high net shirt. If i hear you mike you in field both bulk. And i i love it. Love to see it talking. Susan i'm literally falcons six feet in front of you. I am aware. Oh well you know what daniel the. Here's the thing is we. We all love daniel. We can't talk about his physique too much because daniel already has so much going for him that he can rocket canadian tuxedo and apathy own it. If i walked around with daniel style i would be doing would have zero confidence dangerous. Swag it's just. It's just tux denim on denim. I just. I like doing the denim day field. And i change in tomorrow tomorrow as we always do tomorrow. Focus functioned friday for focus. So we're gonna do that. Sure you send in your fund shirts if you take any pictures on twitter. You're going to work. We'd love to see him hashtag. Funded friday hash. We made a lip right now. All right matchup downgrades time. Let's begin in a game. That i think is really interesting for a lot of different reasons. The giants and in the broncos so we know the top cornerback. Our new york i think is there still some uncertainties running a dory jackson's availability for sunday. I think he'll by on vacation. He's going right. I mean that's last. I heard my expectation in this analysis. Is that'll be playing in this game. Look when dave gentleman got to new york he said. I'm gonna fix this offensive line. We believe in it more than you do. We're going to. We're going to get it right and then you just spending on cornerback. So i mean it's not good for the offense alliance might be worse than the nfl. But it is good for their perimeter quarterback situation which i love what they've done honestly at that spot the last two years james. Bradberry terrific pick-up last year shadowed throughout last season was one of the better in the business in that department and they bring in a door jackson who again to your point you know miss a lotta time. Last season with the injury a bit when he came back with he didn't play much previous years he was one of the league's better corners. Guy still young. He's super talented and again they're going to have the perimeter locked down. So what does that mean this week. They played denver cortlandt sutton when we last saw in two thousand nine hundred eighty percent of the time last year jerry. Judy was outside sixty eight percent of the time. So that's where they run most of their routes yes. The giants could choose. Shadow is jackson and bradbury. Do have a history of doing that. It doesn't really matter either way. You have a good corner facing a talented wide receiver. It is downgraded matchup makes me a little leery of them as wide receiver. Three flex options. Probably your best flex play. I would guess based on the fact that you're just coming out of your draft but it is it is a tricky match up so perhaps the best advice here is if you have a close option. Go that way maybe. Hold off a week on using these guys and reminder of where that going into the season healthwise very yeah. He looks really good. Obviously injured week to towards acl and mc l. We got to chance to see them in the preseason making that really nice plant and cut to the inside on that reconstructed acl and it really that to me was a signal of him gaining that confidence in his knee which is one of the really the biggest challenges for player. Who's coming off a major injury like that is. Can you do it when you actually are up against opposing defenders and. He showed there that he could. You know. I think he'll get better as the season goes on as he gets more plays. It takes more hits. He's going to be somebody who continues to improve but really liked portland sutton this year. Okay makes two of us to like portland citing all right one. More here mike. We've talked about how the vikings defense last year really not good. Apparently that has changed. Yeah no question. Six most fantasy points to receivers your fourth most to the perimeter so receivers again lined up on the outside. I don't care oh care about that. You know why because it's a completely different. They're gonna have almost all new starters guys that were injured last season guys that opted out. They have three nude interior defensive lineman and they're all really good players including michael peer sheldon. Richardson alvin tomlinson. Danila hundred play last year. It's going to get you some edge pressure ever griffin's back to so you got the team back together on the edge Anthony barness almost all of these air. Kendrick missed about a month late in the season. They're back That's a really good unit safety. You have harrison. Smith back brian xavier rosa's the other option and then corner is completely new. I mean they were just desperate last. You're trying to find guys. The place natural neighboring and patrick peterson who come off a rough year. But i mean you're talking about arizona when it was the heaviest offense in the league a lot of pressure on him. I think he'll be fine. In this. mike zimmer offense if cameron dancer back from last year on the perimeter and they already allowed the fewest fantasy points to the slot last year. Neighboring and mackenzie alexander. Who's a pretty good slot corner. He was very good. Minnesota didn't work out in cincinnati but is a good player so all in all a much better defense. I think it's a top five defense in the nfl on paper. Believe it or not. They're playing cincinnati. Higgins to march as tyler boyd. I think we have to downgrade all of these guys. Honestly a really jamaa chase probably going to be limited out of the gate right. I mean he was just sounds like it. Sounds like between has confidence need to be built up as we know he struggled drops row training camp. He's he's one of the harder players to grade rank going into this week. Yeah so t higgins. He's higgins is underpriced. Dfs oh he's still an option for you but just lower expectations a little bit. You're still starting same thing with tyler boyd. But yeah chase. Think you stay away from this week. the saying. He's struggling seeing the ball right. Because ed in colleges the white stripes on it right and then the pros at doesn't and he said it's harder to catch might take a little time for him to get going. Don't be surprised if we see a little more out in tate than usual here in week one. who's the best fourth wide receiver in the nfl. Like he could be a starter somewhere at least close to it. I want to detroit. I'm sorry i just want to disagree with you there. I think tim patrick is the best fourth wide receiver in the nfl. That could be true. That's good point. Those are the to clear him and on tate. I think when they've been given time on the field like they both looked really nice. Both are very good. Good call right there by daniel. Dopp all right. Let's get to our board bets. Which brought to you by geico and whether you rent or own your home head on over to geico dot com geico easy for you..

"We are back. Thank you for your patience. And are like i said guys pharmacy is last week. may shore different to give this report on rankings of nfl's off seasons twenty five best moves all right this is like i said more like action a segment that we're doing here Because i just want to talk about these moves. A lot of people will either forgot happened. Did know happen so it's also partially update on. You know who's moving on in some of these organizations or replacement people So starting off with number twenty five number twenty five is the zona cardinals center. Rodney hudson replaces mason. Coal are so hudson was released by the raiders. It was one of the most surprising moves are developments in the off season. Because of how much you contribute there he was there. One of the league's best centers didn't have to you. Don't travel far to find a new Went down there to arizona and pretty quick a proved to be very durable. Played last eight hundred snaps at least the last eight hundred steps Of the lives of those seasons included one thousand six times of within those eight seasons at one thousand simpson season talking about some of the stats men of his pass blocking win record of coal. So mason call Nine four percent successful. Which was the same for rodney hood. cole had him beat on a in black Win so seventy three to sixty six percents It actually hudson had high breaking on pro. Football focus grading. Hudson had ronnie hudson as seventy four in cole had fifty five so i mean outside of the run block. They technically i have an even player. You know All the way around. I guess it just was a matter of preference on that. Maybe dancing Mescus okay one. That i am interested in is quarterback troy hill or places tears mitchell on the cleveland. Browns they're stat straight straightforward is a mitchell twenty twenty stat. Would line with sixty five tackles. Zero deceptions Why are they doing that. is that what. Okay no okay yet. Lactose deal the twenty twenties but heels projected. Sixty six tackles one point four exceptions. I don't know whether i guess he didn't play last season but still go back. Further began Mitchell paste all quarterbacks in coverage snaps Father near sixty three snaps played team high. Ninety eight percent of the defensive snaps for the cleveland. Browns defeats Struggled a little bit last season but overall good but they upgraded they definitely have upgraded Tell you the list a little bit. Further for more things but heels. Five allergic coverage dance with eight. Were eighth most in nfl. His seventy seven tackles ranked sixth among corners graded out of twenty seven best corners. I make my list that i did earlier. This season or off season but That doesn't take away for woody's dead. Okay lousy twenty. Three czar number twenty. Three cornerback casey hayward's junior a russell. Douglas replace nevin lawson a lamarcus. Joyner on the. Las vegas raiders. So we're going to combine the stat lines so loss. It enjoyed a combined twenty stat. Line or one hundred. Forty five tackles two interceptions heyward in douglas's combined twenty twenty one projection is a four tackles two point five sections so i mean. I guess expected to possibly get another intersection but way less tackles lou. I don't know. I don't know if best moving number twenty three it's here at the bottom. That is tablets support at in interceptions. Turnovers help they could change the course of the ball game. Yes you you really want them to get on with is definitely needed. Which is almost the entire game. But if you can't make a tackle you gotta remember. Quarterbacks are though was that really relied on for those outside tanks. any plays goto outside. Weather is run screen Pass quarterbacks who were defense relying on to take care of that. I mean some you know. Don't give your guest nickel bags backers instead of may cover some quick out some cool stuff like that Maybe even some bubbles but at the end of the day quarterback can you know jump. the routes Get back there and get those tackles can keep teams from gaining minyard's yards. So i don't know if i like that. I mean we go for projections here so number. Twenty two quarterback. Patrick peterson in mackenzie alexander. Replace jeff gladden in mike hughes on the minnesota vikings secondary our exit gladly hughes combined. Twenty twenty stat. Line with ninety four tackles and no interceptions peterson. in alexander's combined. Tony told one projection is a hundred and six tackles into point. Eight interceptions now. That is what you call it. Oh great mike. Zimmer made mission to improve. His defense is off season. All of the Twenty twenty show which we all saw one of the big overhauls can from you know the secondary as possible that only harrison so harrison submitted aid cameron. Dantzler will return as starters. Everybody else to be switched out New two fold are three-term first time all time first time three time pro time. I don't know three time first team all pro in eight time. Pro bowler in peterson. Old friend exit is the whole body will pow a was not. You know the usual widow pig company in today's known kind of saw that up there in age where it might make some people wanna hesitate Yet a lot on his shoulders apparently His five hundred fifty five coverage snaps were third most among corners of bounce. Back is very possible or hopeful. For quincy alexander's back with the team. After a successful twenty twenty season in cincinnati. Got a handle on new the slot duties heroin. He did really good was able to get a new job. team also added xavier woods. Ebony harrison harasses a replacement at safety This is a good group with the potential to be very good. Okay on in improved team. Which is what they need all right. So good job there minnesota I know you guys are gonna do the right thing when it comes to offers to. Hopefully we'll.

"I'm not sure. Try to find some more signings. Minnesota signed cornerback. Mackenzie alexander. he's a former viking. How he's back defensive. Tackle tyson is back with pittsburgh. He's he had agreed to a deal with the jaguars changed his mind. Going back to the steelers play nose. Tackle the patriots. According to the athletic they had really are hell bent on getting quarterback. So don't assume too much for camden at this point. Their intent is to trade up quarterback or pursue a veteran. Someone like jimmy garoppolo. Kansas city expected. He's not kansas city. Expected to sign defensive. Tackle jarran reed from the seahawks to a one year. Seven million dollar deal san francisco sign. Mohamed sanu the raider sign snead and the chiefs resigned. Marcus robinson all of them need play. When i don't think so i'm going to say no on that. Probably one of the worst wide receivers to play offensive line. I would guess all right. We've got a mock draft to tell you about so it was a twelve team. Pr league and we're going to focus a little bit on the free agents. Allow a lot on the free agents and where they went the players who were who were impacted by what we've seen over the last couple of weeks like clyde edwards helaire going nineteenth overall those kinds of things after damian williams was released so jamie i'll give you the first word here. What really stood out to you when you look at this. Mock draft as. I said to you on fifteen five in the things i was looking for. Were the free agents in the guys who changed teams and the players who are impacted by free agents joining their team. So you know where to kenny golladay. Go where will go where the guys stayed home. Go juju smith schuster. For example aaron jones he was a top ten overall selection which is kind of what i expected Guys like terry. Corn got a new quarterback The rams receivers by getting match stafford. You know things like that. So that's what. I was looking for the most in just to see where the the free agents were ending up in what rounds and what. What's jones went tenth overall aaron jones. This is a three receiver. Pr league with a flex. And he was twenty first when we drafted in january so up ten of eleven spots the tenth overall the biggest movers. I mentioned sort of the top of the show. Mike davis what did you think of that. "To the Anthony Munoz Foundation. A lot of kids are going to benefit by that. Congratulations to all involved. That is awesome. This is the Bangles Line show and 700 wlw. I'll tell you something else. That was awesome. Baltimore Ravens running game yesterday. Second and to officially for the Ravens. Huntley turns left hands it off to Dobbins. He runs for the first down, gets away from Pratt sprinting downfield to the 40, the 30, the 20, the 10 and the former Buckeye go 72 yards for a touchdown. As the Ravens continue to pour it on part of a 160 yard rushing performance, and only 13 carries for former Ohio State running back JK Dobbins. Lamar Jackson had 97 rushing yards before leaving late in the third quarter. He went up and over 1000 rushing yards for the season. 1969 the Bangles second year of existence. They gave up 313 yards on the ground to the Kansas City Chiefs. That was the record for most rushing yards allowed by the Cincinnati Bengals. Well, it's no longer the record and the new record is almost 100 yards. Higher. They gave up more than 400 yards 404 on the ground yesterday. It's interesting that the Bangles are the record holder Corey Dillon being the highlight going for four or seven, and then they gave up the number to itself again. Another Charles Dickens thing, the best of times the worst of times. I mean, it's It's ironic that the franchise is involved in Two of the 3 400 Yard games that are spoken about those are rare in the Super Bowl air in the Super Bowl era. Those rare I mean and and for this franchise to be on the good side and the bad side. I guess speaks speaks volumes toe. There have been some good times, and there've been some terrible times and everything in between. Here's Here's the sad truth. As I mentioned Lamar Jackson came out late in the third quarter had he stayed in had Baltimore needed to continue. To score for whatever reason. Who knows how many rushing yards the Bangles might have given up? It was 3 50 at the end of the third quarter, and so you know, I mean, you're thinking that zoo over over 120 yards a quarter Yeah. You have 120 yards to it. That's 4 70. You know if you average it out, Yeah, they could have been creeping up for 5500 yards very easily. It's it's crazy. Bangles have not stopped the run well for several years now. They tried to address that through free agency. Last year, they went out and signed DJ Reader. Unfortunately, his season ended after four games. Gino Atkins was never Gino Atkins. We don't know if he'll be back. Next year. They tried to sign some guys on the perimeter. That would be a good run stoppers. Trae Waynes never played Mackenzie Alexander did, but he wasn't in there. Yesterday s O. For starters. They've got to get some of those guys back. But they also could need to continue to add personnel up front. That's going to be a huge priority. It is and there's another guy Grinnell Ren. Would like to have him yesterday. He's a big body guy that plays the run pretty darn well and he and DJ reader same injury, you know, Quadricep tendon that ruptures. I mean, have to those in the same position group in the same season. And I mean, there's there's a black cloud of injury. Just Harvard around this this franchise and You know, you spend a ton of money on Trae Waynes. You don't even know what you got yet. I mean, he hurt himself. Lifting weights towards pectoral had that surgery and detached. It didn't just tear it. Detach. The pectoral has to have surgery, Attaching That Zama attic. That's a that is that a new, unbelievable injury to sustain in a weight room working out in the off season, not just pulling Peck the attaching surgical repair out for the year that stuffs crazy and you wonder when it will go away. You know when they'll be able to Ah, Every coach in the National Football League. Their dream is you're never gonna have everybody leave training camp with But the teams that are usually successful and I can speak to. I know the team that I played on the 81 82 team that had success went to Super 16. When we broke training camp. We thought we were pretty good. And you know, we knew if we Avoided injury, particularly the key positions. We were gonna be damn good and we avoided injury to the key positions and we were damn good and that zit fact of life in the National Football League. And the teams that you know that get there and competed. A high level usually don't sustain season ending injuries. Two guys that they're really, really recounting on, and there's a rare exception to every rule, and you'll.

"A hint of a chance of rain 36 of the tri state severe weather station news radio 700 wlw. Welcome back breaking news out of Paul Brown Stadium. According to the Bangles, they will be without Quarterback Mackenzie Alexander today out with an illness. Won't guess as to what? That illnesses but I know what has a pretty good chance of being that illness. So that means that without Mackenzie Alexander and without William Jackson, the third is out with a concussion. Bangles will be a little thin a cornerback today against a Ravens team that can throw the ball fairly well and run the ball really well standing by at the Holy Grail, Mo Egger lets go back down there. It's party Central, every single Bangles game and my guess is by now Mo is on beer number two. Is that a good guess? It's a very good guess. Can. What? Wait? What? Well done. Way to go. No, I'm just I'm just guessing I'm looking at time. I'm looking at circumstances. I figure you're on your second one water behind my usual pace, But I've got plenty of time to catch up, okay? So I I don't know whether you heard the news Mackenzie Alexander Scratch not playing today. What am Jackson the third scratch Not playing today, So they're a little thin it cornerback now. Yeah, and they already kind of were And I kind of suspected that this was gonna be William Jackson's last game and Bangles uniform. Obviously, that's not gonna happen. Take Mackenzie Alexander this off season is gonna be interesting, but Yeah, I've got to think if you if you Lamar Jackson, you are you're salivating at the chance to test the 2nd and 3rd string guys a corner, but they also run the ball very well. Give us that words can pound it. And I'm just I'm just wondering your thoughts on that. Because if you're if you're the Ravens, what you want to do is build an early lead and maybe yank Lamar Jackson. But I'm just I'm wondering what I'm wondering what you think that game plan will be because they will be tempted. Without those two starting corners. Yeah, I don't. I don't know that they necessarily have to do anything beyond the ordinary. Right. I mean, you if you've got the best running quarterback in the league looks a lot better, frankly than he did the first time these two teams played, You know that's that's right when his knee was acting up, and if you remember that game, Lamar Jackson didn't really look like Lamar Jackson. Um I don't. I don't know that you necessarily have to deviate too much from what you do, because even if Mackenzie Alexander's available you have the better team you have You have the better team. You have the better quarterback. You have the better offensive line, and so I don't. I don't know that you necessarily have to make a late game and a last minute adjustment because Mackenzie Alexander's not available, not a plate. It's not a great collection of corners to begin with now. There were secondary is the hole has Jesse patients? Quite good, But, yeah, I would. I would expect them to have a look. Last week, the text and nobody could stop David Johnson, right? Nobody could. They won the game, but they couldn't stop David Johnson by in Baltimore, and I see that I tried to figure out a way to basically ripped that page out of Houston's playbook and now go after a sin, Cincinnati secondary and Bengal defense that I saw last week is going to be ill prepared Toe. Stop that over 60 minutes five of the last six games they've allowed over 100 yards rushing a buck 66 last week and at Washington about a month and a half ago. 164 in that game, so We'll see. But well, that leads me to my next question. What do your thoughts on what the Bangles game plan should be for today? From an offensive standpoint exactly what it was last week. Right. Let's get Giovanni Bernard involved heavily. He was used on the ground. He was used catching passes. This is something we've wanted to see for quite a while. I think there's a really interesting conversation by the way to be had right now, after what they've done in the backfield the last two weeks Did they air and paying, Joe mix and $48 million last week, it plugged in and played so much J. P. Ryan, and he was fantastic. You're not gonna have Brandon Miller keeping the ball all over the place. Uh, so what? Let's see if we can connect on that the same sort of place they did last week with the Texans on then you have to figure out a way that we talked about this last last time. You and I chatted. You've got to figure out a way to pick up Baltimore's Blitch. That's something they did not do in the first game, and it cost them dearly. It completely runner their offense useless. Um, Baltimore blitzes more than any team in the National football week. So let's see if Zach Taylor and Brian Callahan have a remedy for that. Frankly, you're better prepared when he have Geo on the field, as opposed that Joe Mixon when a team is blitzing because he's he's better at picking things up. But what can you do? The combat the blips that to me again if I'm going by the way, the Ravens played the Bangles. The first go around that to me is the question today. Going out away toe slow down that path less when they said more than four and they're going to send more than four often on the playoff your offensive strategy. P. Ryan had 95 yards on 13 carries and there were between running and catching the ball. 24 touches for You know, Bernard last week, so I mean, there's ample opportunity to mix it up there. Ample opportunity to mix it up. I mean, when, when, when we were in the teeth of the season, watching this Bangles, often people with job, Earl was healthy watching this offense at times, but, er I think the thing we were wondering is other, more creative ways to involve the running back. They didn't necessarily reinvent offensive football with what they did last week, but they were able to get CEO and some are Jake a link in the passing game. That's something I would like to see continued today, and it's a staple of the playbook that I would like to see moving forward when Joe Mixon hopefully returns healthy next year. By the way, the Bengals game plan for today has brought you by life Center change Wife through organ and tissue donation. Your thoughts move from From what has become a festive atmosphere is I can hear down at the at the Holy Grail. And of course,.
