They'll get inquisitive, but they know the line when they look over 300 level. That cat's not getting over that. I don't know how the cat ended up dangling. "Garage, take all your junk and get it in the garage. People want to see the garage like again. Car junkies are going to care about the garage. Most people aren't they just going to care about how big it is. Um so get your stuff into the garage. Get it into storage. Get it into closets. Get it under beds, You know, get it wherever you can get it. It's not like glaring in the photos. Another big thing from the decluttering perspective as those personal items. Um, you know, Mike, you can't walk into a house. People don't realize how emotional Oh yeah, Buying a home is it's a huge emotional step. There's this the step where people You know, kind of bond with the house. You know, Um I kind of relate it to like, you know, when you you go out on a first date, you have a feeling right? Like you. You get like this excitement or, you know, you get that in a house. You don't get that if the house is so clearly branded to the person living in it. Meaning that you shouldn't have You know, a life size portrait of yourself? Um, you know, you should probably take your kids pageant photos that cover an entire wall. You should probably take those down. You know anything that is so polarizing that you probably shouldn't be there. If you want your house to be emotionally accepted by people that are looking to find a home. They're not just buying four walls. They're buying an experience. So you have to look at your house and say What is in my home but would make someone feel like it couldn't be theirs. And you have to get rid of those things. Yeah, for sure, And especially to and again, not to make it political and that, But you know, if you had a trump flag or a Biden flag in your those gotta come down which side You know, we we've got to come down 50 50 you're going to you're going to alienate potentially half of the people. Yeah, no doubt about it. I mean, polarizing things, even sports teams. Sometimes, man, like I've told people they got like the Florida Gator room. You know, Like I told him, I'm like, Look, I don't know if that's a good idea. The other problem you have is when you have, like, really cool stuff and you're selling your house. You're selling the house, Not the stuff. If your stuff has been paying more attention to it than the house, Guess what? You're making a mistake. You know you're you're having your distracting them from paying attention to the house, so anything like that? That's that's got some sort of extra cool factor. You know, it's great to have out for a dinner party already have some friends over for fourth of July. And you have, like a conversation piece. Um, but but it isn't for when you're selling your house. Those things need to be hidden and taken away. The other reason why they need to be hitting and taken away is because the consumer the buyer might want him. You might lose a home sale over them wanting your signed Derek Jeter. World Series Jersey, you know, like and so that's the sort of conversations we have people out. We want to prevent issues in the home sale. We want to get you the most amount of money and we want you to showcase the property as best it can. And some of those things can distract people like if you have, um You know, an incredible masker collection. Probably something you need to put away because people are going to pay attention to that. You know if you've got some sort of really cool, amazing collection that maybe the buyer really likes thing. Guess what they're paying attention to your stuff. And not the house. So utterances that, uh, that I see to a religious items right again. By all means, when at your house, do what you want with it and everything else, But when you're trying to sell it, you know if you have religious items that show whatever your religious affiliation, maybe, you know that may offend some people. Um, you know, one way or the other and so again. You're just taking those things and just, you know, putting them away or setting them aside while the pictures to be taken. You're showing you how I'm a Christian, You know, I've got a radiant church on Dale Mabry in south Tampa. I love my church. But at the same time if I'm selling a house I don't necessarily want I don't need people to know that and again. Look, when we're telling you this, we're telling it to you for to give you the best advice to profit. And provide you the best opportunity. Get your home sold. It's still your choice. Look, if you're super proud of that, and you don't want to put it down, because it means that much to you just know it could cost you something in exchange. And if you're okay with that, then so be it. We at least did her job of explained to you the pros and cons of, um you know, having something like that. That could have been somebody you know, in your home, you know and again. Obviously this last year with Covid. There's so many polarizing things politically, You just have to be conscientious that if if you're selling your home think, like, think, like going into a model home, go to a new construction model home and walk through. But hey, make sure if you register you give him my name. Because if you end up buying it because you love it so much, you know, I'm I'm just go ahead and go ahead. Let me have that sale, so no, but but if you go to a new construction community and you see the models, that's what you they they've spent. Look, some of these builders are they're publicly traded companies. There were billions of dollars. They've spent millions of dollars researching what consumers want to see and what they don't want to see. And so when you walk through their models, there's ample research to say why they have set up the model that way. Do your best to emulate that as best you can in your resell property and again, you may have an older home. You may have a home that you know you can't do some of the things that new model does, but But do your best emulate it. Make it neutral. Get rid of your NASCAR Your doll collection. I've seen some of those photos where people have like a bunch of dolls and right and its creator, I feel like I'm on the garage. You know you're you're just looks creepy, You know? Just look at the photos. It's creepy man. You know, so so the but those things are valuable to you also, and and and so like a chandelier, for example, that is passed down through generations. And take the chandelier down. I cannot tell you how many times people have gotten heated an emotional over things that are family heirlooms because the seller didn't didn't remove it before the house went on the market, then the buyer wants it. Then the buyers attached to it. And then you're losing a sale on your, you know, most important, valuable asset. Simply because there's something that they can see that you didn't want them to be able to have. So hide those things. Take him down. Declutter the house, get rid of your NASCAR collection. You know, I don't mean get rid of it. I mean, get it out of the house, You know, hide it in the garage. Um And and again if your house is de cluttered if it's clean you can you can today Because the market so high bypass some of the typical improvements or repairs you might have to make, but I think and and and can you not do some of these things that we've told you? The fraud that we did not see in this election. We had no issues at the polls. We had no issues of the ballot boxes. We had no issues. Counting ballots, Republican lawmakers and many states have pushed for new election restrictions. His former president. Trump continues to claim the 2020 election was stolen due to fraud. More rules for Florida elections could mean more work for voters and for local elections offices. This does tighten it down a little bit on and we're willing to work with the voters, you know, to make sure that they're operating well within the law. L. Onto our rejoins the whole time, But for once, I just listen to it. I always just gotta go robot mode and get back on the radio that I was just laughing at the old. Everybody has a Has a bank, but you need a Frank Doug. How do you feel? You've got a bank. But do you think you need a friend? I think everyone needs a frank. Uh, I You know, there's there's certain things as a business owner or as a person, you know, I always call your team, so you need to have AH, solid accountant. You have a solid banker. You have a solid mortgage person. You need to have an advisor for different things. I mean, these are things you as a individual or even as a business owner. You need to build a team around you because you always do someone smarter than you. So I think that's always something you need. No, that That's Doug and I like to do the business tip of the week. A lot of times in the fourth segment and what you just said. Doug is one. It's a great business tip. It's called hiring smarter. On a lot of people and business owners don't realize it benefits you is the business owner to hire people that are actually smarter than you major benefit you You want to hire people and manage people. That have more knowledge than you are smarter than you to take your business to the next level. Instead of being the smartest guy you'll never learn if you're the smartest guy in the room you've ever heard that one. Absolutely you don't. You don't want to walk in the room. Be the smartest guy all the time. You want to go in there and learn something Well, anyway, I'm not normally the smartest guy in the room. Maybe today. I don't know. But I have an incredible guest. Him and his wife, Alberto and Yoli. We've been talking about him. Uh, they are the owners of the Fred Astaire. Dance studio in north Tampa. It was a couple of years ago that I got her this present for birthday, probably over a year ago, and she's always like to dance and she goes on cruises, and she dances the night away. And and I've got two wooden white legs, so I'm not too good of a dancer and You always ask me, you know, to go dancing with her or to, you know, get some dance lessons or something like that. So I went ahead and bought. Ah, package of dance lessons from my mom on. I think actually bought it online. I don't think I went anywhere to do it. But it on the website I believe and gave it to her. And, you know, life gets busy and you don't get around to doing anything s O finally for her birthday this last January. She said. Hey, could we actually use my my dance gift certificates and you go dancing with me and you make some time in your busy schedule? Is that sure? Mom, what we're gonna do that so few weeks ago. We went to the Fred Astaire dance studio right there on Dale Mabry. It's currently it's right behind Glory days. You know where that is. In the in the Kobe Plaza there every Got to meet Alberto and Yoli. First things first. I'm a terrible dancer. Absolutely terrible on Lee Dance I've ever attempted to learn in my whole life was my wedding, And when I got on that dance floor, I forgot everything. I think it looks pretty good now, but anyway, so I went in there. They may be ultra comfortable. That's the most important thing. Um Mom and I went. I mean, either way, I was sucking it up because it's for Mom. But I went in there. To meet them. They were awesome. Wonderful. Caring people took me in. Told me. Don't.

"Man. We're on the road. We're in Denver or were you know we're in Kansas City well, and then you see the pan around and there's the violator and the gorilla and all these crazy. I can't iconic super fans and don't miss the game. I mean, as long as they can get there on these guys work on it and a lot of times It's not like these guys were rich and money growing on trees, but these guys sacrifice and they save their money and they use it for these road trips and B. I got to talk to you now about the missus. I wanted to get the skinny on this like because I'm thinking back, You know, 40 years ago, you know, there's a wilder violator, the young violator right now. So I'm thinking this guy was partying heavily. Now, When did it toned down? Just a little bit where Mrs V says, you know. Alright. I guess if this is the thing, you know, then I guess we'll deal with it and I'll become part of it. You know, I'm just wondering, you know how long has she been okay with it. Has it been from the onset? Has it been, you know, And how many years were there that young violator just running amok? Well, here's the deal. I finally got the nerve to ask her out on a date. That was our first official date. Okay? And I had tickets to the San Diego charges. Raiders game, okay. And I didn't kill out dressed up in nothing. So I just drove up to around No 6 a.m. in the morning. That's on the door. Imagine a foggy morning and ran to put money on. I'm standing in full regalia. And I'm saying Let's go trains leaving. Oh, my goodness. We ain't leave until six in the moan and all right, sweetie doesn't know that he doesn't know that line. I guarantee. Ken doesn't know that line. All right, so so Listen, Snoop, Katie. All right, All right. So so tell me what was her reaction And did she feel like she was overdressed or underdressed? Let me paint this picture for you. Now I'm in full gear. Everything. You know, the school was laying on the back seat. But then she's hugging my own rests on the passenger side till I had to tell her the release as before she pulled it off. I wouldn't bite her unless she wanted that. You So that was kind of our conversation down the five freeway and then a caravan of Raider Nation broke out in the midst of going to Qualcomm Stadium, and she's like why these people honking And playing tag with you. I'm like that's all family. We head to the same spot. I said We're going to fishing in three when we get there, and for her to see us drive in there. Go through security. Get to the village. That's what we call section and three that was the village. And before I could get out of my truck. I had every live ation and food samples that you could have at a tailgate coming to a truck. There's no question I mean, when you see violated, you know, he hasn't missed a meal. There's no question. I mean, but listen you you can tell gay with the best of them. Now, the greatest is on and Chris and I were talking before you got here. But Chris was really taking the other night when he was listening. And you know you're talking about you know, the charitable side. I knew that side of you early on. But as I did My research further. I mean, this goes back a long way, and you've got such a love for kids, and you know any families going through hardship. I mean, that's a special kind of person, and I know these other people. These other fans are probably just super people as well were, of course, partial because we know you, and so we're again encouraging everybody to vote go to Fort Hall of fans calm, But Chris go ahead because I know you wanted to also, and I wanted to kind of add on to that Ken Thompson also because myself, I'm, a fellow fellow veteran. As you are can so that is something that is obviously close to my heart is someone who served in the military for a number of years, you know, back in the nineties and now always are, you know someone who is going to waver on the side of you know if if there are Americans out there that are putting their best foot forward and trying to take care of those that do need, you know, And sometimes they need help in he had in certain areas. Whether it is someone who is a veteran, whether it is those who are more underprivileged. Whether it is some of those who are facing adversity, you know, and that's something that's special to me. And that's why I did, you know, take the heart. A lot of the discussion. That both weighing you and Katie were talking about last week when discussing you know your your philanthropy and what you do on a daily basis or on a weekly basis when it comes to in the community. I appreciate that, Chris look and that whole part of giving back man I have this monster myself that I keep repeating to myself. Sometimes the biggest things that you can give other smallest your time. Your love. Those things are priceless, but they mean so much to the people that receiving it. So once I got indoctrinated into that whole charitable deal And once you touch kids, and they touch they break your heart, brother. If you got a hard it's all over now. Me going to help us events That's just to say thank you for your service. We appreciate you and job well done, and people still love you for what you've done what you stood for, And that's what it's all about Brothers between a and B once once those two points me. Game over. Especially when you think about the NFL right and franchises around the NFL. The military is a focal point right there. There is, you know, a special affinity for the branches of service that you know, obviously, in our country, there's nothing more red, white and blue right then the National Football League or Major League baseball or all the you know, sports leagues. In our country, So that's that's something that that really caught my eye Wayne and can when you guys talked about that, and I just want to make sure that I pointed that out. Well, it's it's like it's like fourth of July every Sunday. Exactly, you know, regardless of people's views. I just have a feeling that You give that you show appreciation and you remain humble throughout your service, You know, uh Had a dead that was career military guy. Paratrooper. So you know, I knew the crazy side of war but for me just to do give back given just of my time. And the smile that you put on their faces that that's a hard woman, man.
