"That's a finish you want. It was crazy. You said, why are you guys talking about the FedEx? I don't know. We were talking about it like it was a major tournament. It's not a major. So you guys are talking about the FedEx playoffs. It's a must watch too. I'm all about the weekend bets that last the whole weekend. Into that. Let's talk about the golf, but I want to go back to Saturday. The drama. The cam Smith got penalized two strokes. I never saw this. I didn't see that either. He got after the round. After the fact. So that's going to happen. That's what my question is. Bingo. Did they just thank you, Rhett. I didn't see it. So I can't even answer it. What happened? I didn't see it either. I just read about it this morning. No, no, it was after it was after his round, someone rewatched it and supposedly his golf might have been right on the line of out of bowel. Yeah. And so he didn't take a drop and he hit it, and they came back to him like the next day. They're like, hey, you know, like, could you a ball have been touching the line and goes, I mean, a little bit of it was probably touching the line. They're like, oh, two stroke penalty. And so he really cost him. He could have won the no coach. He finished at like 8 under. Well, he felt that was kind of the. Was it a conspiracy? Did they just come up with this? Just because they didn't want him winning because there's rumors he's going to live. Okay. Yes. No, I'm serious. I say yes, yes. I mean coach, think about it. I mean, we're learning every day at the PGA sucks. We're learning more and more that the teacher was about saint Jude, it's not about your off track. Go ahead. Talking about this. Was the beneficiary. I'm talking about the pieces. Did you guys like? They had like kid drawing on their shoes. Did you see the backs of paintings on their back? Do you see our girl maybe they're in the 18th hole? No. Cam Smith came out, shook her hand. Who's maybe? Dude, did he give her a $100 million? I met mabry was a patient at the hospital, and I met her when she was a baby baby. I have a picture of me bones and Mari when she was like a baby baby. That's cool. I mean, she's what? I think she's ten now? Crazy. That's why success story. So go ahead. You think that the PGA is so bad? Yes. Why? We're learning that the PGA is just.

"That are not physical and i think that's a really interesting perspective and i think know reading the book sort of opened my mind a little bit too. Maybe letting go of having to come up with a rational reason why certain things occur. Well to rationally understand everything then. You're not going to understand you now. I think if you look at the relative amount of stuff we understand next to the relatives of stuff. We don't understand it ain't much you know leaving some room for mystery. I think is pretty vitally important and that mystery is real. I mean you know the stuff. We don't know israel it's big we just don't know what it is so we can choose to ignore it and pretend that doesn't have any veracity or import for us or we can enter into a relationship with somehow. Practice is one way of entering into that relationship. Yeah i think it's interesting. Because i think the more that i over the course of my years moved into what we might consider a rational or materialistic mindset. I think the harder. I made it to contact the mystery. Well sure because we discounted you know we reinforce this notion that we've got you know that really our culture pushes that only what can be measured and explained israel really no acknowledgement to that vast area of mystery out. There are things that we can't measure explain and so we just ignore them which i think really cuts us off from a lot of life and certainly a lot of what we might call spiritual life and you might see in fact spiritual life as a way of acknowledging and being in relationship with that massive mystery. Yeah and and. I think that the challenge is this is my own challenge and i've had some experiences that have led me beyond that to a certain degree. Is that again is that mystery. Becomes harder to contact. It becomes harder to believe right. It's this reinforcing cycle. I don't believe it. So i can't feel it since i can't feel it. It must not be thus. I believe it's not their onward right and i think that people of our generation and and those who come after us you know have such a ingrained. Cynicism that belief comes really hard to us so much so that i found that it's not a very useful word. The word that i think makes a lot more sense to me as trust. I knew it was going to come up. You can ask me. Do i believe in god. And i would say i believe is the wrong word. I trust that. There is a god and i choose to trust that god. Do i believe that. There's a god. Belief assumes a kind of knowledge that none of us have but trusting. Isn't active will trusting. Something we choose to do. So i don't know if there's a god or not but i choose to trust networks..

"You would find your spirit animal and it would be dog. But that's not quite what happened. No no no. No you know i asked to meet my spirit animal and i don't consider myself a cat person but guess who showed up panther showed up and power animals are generally thought of as the collective spirit of the entire species so the spirit of panther came to me and cuba surly fellow. I have to tell you not talkative. Doesn't suffer fools doesn't crack jokes. But i've really come to see him as my protector. So when i am feeling like i need protection. I've got a fetish of panther and keep it in my pocket. And of course i can go and talk to him anytime and ask for help when i am feeling threatened by have met other power. Animals fox is a great healer but got a soft spot for pander you say that you ask the panther. Why are you so surly yeah. And he said life is hard so true so you and as we've sort of gone through my training my spiritual direction we you know. I'm more of a than buddhist. You're more of a christian. We sort of talk about what we trust in. Trust has been a big issue. That's come up. And when i hear this right where i go is okay. I'm tapping into some realm of consciousness that exists and i'm not actually contact in panther spirit. How would you phrase what's happening or would you simply just say i don't know it's a mystery but i know that i have an experience that powerful well mystery certainly is part of it and it's not something that i can explain but it also feels like panther has objective reality that he's not just a figment of my imagination that he is an actual entity that i go into the journey state in order to talk to and i think most people who do practice would agree with this the imagination really get short shrift in our culture if something is imaginary people discount it. They equate it fantasy. But i think one of the things that our ancestors knew that we really need to rediscover is that. The imagination is an oregon perception. You know no different from the i or the year. It is a way that we perceive reality that is not ordinary reality but the things that we perceive there are no less real. They may not be physically real but certainly they have spiritual reality. And it's you know through the practice. And the training of our nation that we can become adept at contacting these spiritual realities conversing with them and forming relationships with them. You say in the book at one point that shamanism recognizes. There's an ordinary consensual reality. Which is socially agreed on. All of us would say this is reality but there's another dimension of reality which can be perceived you also say that taking shamanism seriously teaches us. That real things happen..

"Number two sports X rayed a big show Monday. Fish thane with me. Hopefully, we get the violator Wing Mabry in a few minutes. Raiders Super fan Doug Plank always enjoyed Doug coming in analyst Ation. Just a great guy fish and you know, back in the day, you know, and Doug's friends with guys like George Atkinson Junior, and you know, he knew Jack Tatum couple guys that played the secondary so well for the Raiders for years. But Doug knows a bunch of those hard hitting guys and they all get together and they will watch the game now Fishing to go. God, we couldn't play nowadays, Man. We we'd be arrested. No, I have absolutely did they and I hate for lack of a better term. They've made the game a lot more wimpy. I know they've done it because of all the issues. They've had his best with concussions on guys get paid so much money that they want to keep them on the field as opposed to getting them hurt. But I've seen the game was more enjoyable as a as a fan. Don't watch it back when they were hitting about hard and it was that it was just a hard hitting game. And that's what football. Woz. Yeah, you know, it's fishing, and here's my thing. Uh, you know, Maddie hold here in town has an integrity of sports integrity company and he works with a lot of the conferences. I don't know if he works with the NFL, but you know, I get a little peeve, sometimes at some of the poor officiating, and we've had a lot of it this year. And you know, in this day and age, I just feel like we've got to be better. We have technology. Uh, there's some officiating. Some calls that air phantom calls and we see him and we're like, what happens to these guys? If they make calls like that, like we don't remember the movie. Uh, you know, Remember the Titans with Denzel Washington and they're getting jobbed at the end of the game, and little flags are being thrown on the field, and they're like, you know, basically like you better. You better get it together. Better call this game fair. We're gonna report you to the board and like they didn't care about, you know, Future high school Hall of Fame or whatever the assistant coach there for Herman Boone, who was Denzel Washington's character, but we see stuff like that still at all levels, fishing, college football, NFL football. Just some calls that really make no sense And a lot of times the coals actually come from guys that to me. If they're on the basketball court, it wouldn't be their call. In other words, where they're making this call from they don't even have an angle on it. They don't even have you know the proper, you know, space to see something and you see these flags come out of nowhere. I just think there's got to be Consequences for officials that continually make poor calls. In other words, they need to be suspended and or fire just like coaches, players, anybody that's inept at their job. If you're going to make phantom calls just because there's five other guys out there with you, you can't always get away with making crab calls because there's a lot on the line, especially at the NFL level for cities and for futures and things like that, that the integrity of the game has got to be preserved, and I think that's more or less. Why So many fans were up in arms about the way Philadelphia and Doug Peterson pulled Jalen hurts, And you can tell me? Yeah, he was seven of 20. But Jalen hurts. You're right. He ran for their two touchdowns and he makes things happen. Said Felt wasn't gonna make anything happen against that Washington defensive line Had he played the whole game. Maybe you could tell me then. But you know, for him to just be thrown in there when the game 17 to 14 and both touchdowns for Philly were on hurts legs. You know that stuff like that that integrity Philly left that lacking last night? We've got our buddy Wayne Mabry on the line. Get with violator in just a second fish. I want your take on that as far as some of the officiating and what we've seen this year, because I think it's been atrocious. It really has been atrocious. And you can the excuse of Kobe could only go so far. One Good thing I know the NFL does do is they review every game after each week after the games and official gets a great based on percentages, and only the ones who get the highest percentages of calls, correct. Get to move on and do the playoffs and do the Super Bowl? The I think you're right. There should be some sort of either firing or suspending or finding just because it's got to stop. We can't can't have a game ruined. Because of a call or non call. I go back to the burn. Emmanuel call with the Rams years ago, or the pass interference that wasn't called against the same two years ago. Things like that can't happen, especially when so much is on the line in the play offs. There you go. All right, Let's welcome in my good friend and we do a video each and every week throughout the football season on the fan Media Network Raiders Super fan video. We just did our final one kind of going over. What we kind of, you know, took the Raider season for this year, their first season in Vegas. No fans in the stands. That was difficult. Made it over to a Legion stadium. Checked it out. What a beautiful facility can't wait for Raider Nation to be there. And coming off an eight an eight year You know, we'll see. Hopefully, the Raiders will be able to take it up a notch. Wayne neighbor is his name Now, Violator. You've seen him. You've seen him at all these greater games with the face. Paint it Despite so on the shoulder pads. Let me just tell you that guy is a guy you want in your foxhole. He's a guy that leaves it all on the field. He doesn't He doesn't care if you're a Raider player or Raider coach. If he disagrees with something you did or feels like you're dragging it or your He's going to call you out. That's that's just the type of person that way neighbor is. Now he's up for one of the super fan positions. There's a big contest going on, and it's put on by Ford. So Ford Hall of fans Ford Hall of fans dot com. You can go to that website right now, and you will see Wayne neighbor..

"Or a successful modern retirement and you could get started just with a simple phone call 7272286449. That's the number to reach out. To the team at the Holland Group Retirement Wealth advisers. You know, we talk about retirement, looking ahead into the future, but sometimes Steve Elizabeth, it's good to look back, right. Look to our past, so we don't repeat, maybe some mistakes. It's a great way to learn, and I thought we could go way back to this week in history. To the year. 1956. Now I'm not going to ask the two of you what you were doing in 1956. But here's what I can tell you. All of us were paying 27 cents per court of milk. That was for delivery of milk and 24 cents if we just picked it up at the store. Wow, I've got three kids. I could tell you. I'm paying a lot more than just 27 cents. And no one was delivering it to my home. Right? Big. Great. Yeah, that it would be so cool if we had a milk man these days, you know, I mean, you talk to millennials and then like a milk man. What is that? Oh, they go to a different level, right? That's number right. Right, Right. Is that is that associated with uber? You know, I can safely say that, you know, back in 1956. Elizabeth and I We were not even in the picture. As of yet. I think your parents probably had two kids already. And you're number four out of four. I'm number four out of six. And I think in 19 56. My parents had two kids. We had my older sister and oldest brother at that time, But you know, Meghan, this this scenario it actually reminds me of when I was a little kid growing up in Syracuse in Syracuse, New York, My parents always said, Listen, you can ride your bike around the town. But do not cross West Genesee Street because West Genesee Street it was kind of like a U. S. 19 or Dale Mabry. You know a lot of speeding cars, and it's kind of dangerous for a kid on a bicycle so I would ride my bike to this gas station. This gas station was called MacArthur's, and it was on Maple Drive, Maple Street and And Genesee Street and I would stop there. I would buy a Coca Cola. You know, I would check the air in my tires. And I remember one night telling my dad Hey, Dad. What? What is 29 9 means He said. 29 9 where? Just see that? I said what's in the corner. It's a big sign at MacArthur's gas station, and he laughed. And he said, Oh, son, well, that's the price of a gallon of gas. 29 cents 29.9. So if you can't relate to the price of milk being 27 cents per court, maybe you can relate Tio gasoline Now this would have been in probably 1970 73 something like that. But anyhow That was terrible. That's for sure. You know, you look at the prices today compared to way that that inflation is something we don't think a lot of financial advisors do really, really well, they ignore inflation, and we think that's terrible. Especially the older our clients get. You know that I had such a good illustration. My Guinness going to get a can of Coke at MacArthur's seeing that the price per gallon on gas and man If I saw that price, I'd say filler up and back then they did. They came out of your car it up. That's right, that they filled it up. They check your day. Clean your windshield. And back then they were called filling stations. That's right after that, and things change. Sometimes you see the change of clothes and personal other times you don't and I feel like this is where inflation as a risk to retirement can be so sneaky because clearly we know what a gallon of gas cost now it's nowhere near 29 cents a gallon, but time it kind of just creeps in, doesn't it? Right? Yeah, it certainly does. And, of course, what We're telling everyone out there on the airwaves is that we're getting old and we've been around for quite some time. But you know, I look at it this way. Albert Einstein once said the only source to true knowledge is experience experience gained in the trenches fighting the battles day in day out. Elizabeth and I can still remember what happened on that day. September 11th 2001. That was the day that terrorism threatened our great country and man, that was a bad day. But I lived through it. You live through it. We all lived through it. And you and I did nothing but focus on our client's helping them get through it as well. Fast forward to today. You know, we've been at this here the Holland Group for 27 years. You and I more than 30 years in this business, and we think it's important that If you're trusting someone with your life savings, make sure they have plenty of experience. Make sure they've gone through many of these crashes, corrections sell offs and make sure that you feel comfortable that you're in good hands. If you want a consultation, a complimentary consultation, call us 727228 64. 49 that number again. 727228 64 49. If you're making retirement, a d I Y project to do it yourself Project. Maybe you're not going to see that you're not going to see some of those things. Coming your way. You know, Here's something that maybe people didn't see coming their way. And I think a lot of people are glad that it did. And I want to take us back. We've kind of been looking Stephen Elizabeth passed this week and and things that took place back of back in the day, as the kids like to say, And here's something that well, maybe we didn't see coming, but I'm sure glad we did. Yes, words of Bruce Springsteen, the boss as he's known Born to run and Steve Elizabeth,.

Bayern, PSG Set for UCL Final Clash

"We'll start though in the champions they it's the final will wanted PSG will take on by Munich. Be Leon by three goals. So now hey, it's a disgust, the Game Alley Moreno Frank Leboeuf and Craig Burley crank. This was buying far from their swashbuckling best but they got the job done. But you've gotta you know Leon. Shown the the the main street. One of the mainstream is making it difficult for fully opposition. Something really gusty overlooking aid to improve on next year F-. where, they're going to finish league on. But that's what the stall out particularly in as competition the on the counter-attack, the super organized, the aggressive and so I think. Never expected it to be this crazy open game. That Barcelona fine with. So. In that respect, it was understandable but also Leon as you know follows it was no they created chances in the game and and after finishing had been clinical. More interesting. I thought it was professional from bio Munich brought some big boys on from the bench as well. But yeah, they deserve and Leon I'm sure front will agree on. From from a Frenchman can hold the head high for what they've done in this competition. Right. Yeah I'm not disappointed by the result because we all were expecting that to buy in, will win and go and go to the final, but we can be able to be frustrated as a French fans said. About the fact that yacht some chances I think there are more and more chances to school than they had against Manchester. City where they scored three goals but before that magnificent goal from Niagara. I think he. Took A. Big Chance. Said hit the post but well because of the fantastic Noyer Bienne Wearing. Punished where they opened up a little bit too much defensively especially behind the defense. But I agree with with Craig. Is Very. Well organized did everything to to annoy. By Munich, their resume and The physical aspect of their games. And played them in contract that was the only solution for them to be hopeful for better better school. By Munich manage to do everything well for them and and ensured that. They definitely for me the the favorite now and we've talked about maybe after the other segment, it's. Something to to. Four four. Fulbari. Essential. In. The in the perspective of that final, because by monique was very weak at some point defensively, it's really open started this game and it's fair to say, isn't it Ali before mabry scored? It could could've been to. It could've been any this should have been and so really got to see US putting together a game plan for Leon coming into this game and to match you think okay if we can force a turnover an intimate sale and then with one past week in getting behind, we can get the pine behind Doku accompanied by then maybe we get ourselves goal and we make this game a whole lot different a lot more complicated for buying Munich and that's exactly what Happened it's a turnover by the gun, but now it's a through ball in the pie gets around among annoy open goal unable to score and thinking. Okay. Maybe that was a chance. Maybe that was their opportunity. This is what could have changed the game for Leon, but it wasn't just that chance is tall can be had couple more himself where the one in which he somehow goes through the talented gets up left-footed everything to shoot at hits at the post. And its second slater than that. You see every kind of say. All right. Well, you guys miss your chance. We're not gonNA Miss Hours, and here we go. It's all about our talent and what we can do in the attack in half by immunity took over from there but I agree with frank in the sense that you look at via Munich and how vulnerable and file they look sometimes defensively that in that very transition I think Leon looked at it and Say Wait a minute. If we attack the steam, we're GONNA, create chances and in doing so they got themselves a little bit straight down when they got stretch. Then all of a sudden transition going the other way average scores one, and then things just of opened up, and then of course, the second one again on transition down the left hand side, and then from there, it was all over for Leon and by Mimic what were underway how good was that go from? Craig. Yeah I mean he's a special player now isn't it? I mean let's be quite Frank Burrup. You know three or four years ago he wasn't and his career looked zeph it wasn't really happening anywhere an unfair play. You know he's the guy that tell them to around. You know we can take people on and field you can change your core cheese, you can do ever played himself. has turned on his head and and he's just a huge threat. No. Way that it took the goal in terms of the touch how he inside. There was always two or three defenders around him, and then he just made half nothing more halfway yard. Rifle and the top corner is you started so much. These gave confidence. Experience and played such good players around him and he's he's you know as. You ask the coach he's when he was playing back in. England you know ask no online at West Brom really was a player going nowhere not. Far From Levin Dolph Ski who has the first name on the Bion team sheet this guy is not far behind. That's an amazing. At how does this happen? How does he change around so quickly? While I think Sarandon's have to do a lot with it and I am the expectations that are generated by the people around you and when you have a train environment or by Munich where everybody's expected to perform at a high level at all times and when the only expectation for you individually NFC group is you're GonNa win everything that you participate in. Then you'd better show up I think it demanded the best navarine. We have seen the very best of him. Now, this could have gone horribly wrong for him, and then whenever he was asked to give his best well, maybe that wasn't going to be good enough I by Munich and his career was gonna come to an end somewhere out without having achieved the things and now he has opened himself in terms of the chances that he has in front of the things that he can achieve. I think he got to a point in which he needed to answer the call he needed to be the player that. We all thought that he could have been on at, but we didn't see enough of it now that we see the full potential well, then it's it's it. You just have to SORTA asked the question asked to not only the individual players such whenever he had the you get to this point but to the training environment that he was part of before, that couldn't get this side of him. So yes, it is fair to go and ask the world's going on back there and I think you also have to recognize that via Munich have done a wonderful job of putting him in a position in which he can truly showcase his talent and you can. You also have to say to the player. He was a chance. Here's your opportunity take advantage of it and he has gone so such a good job of really showcasing what he is player this year of
