Gheorghe Ignat Reflects on His Wrestling and MMA Career

"To George ignaz or as it's pronounced in Romania, Georgia, ignat, from Romania, and we're talking George to you about, thanks for letting me call you, George. About your experience. So at age 12, you are 200 pounds gigantic, and you very quickly become a champion in the entire nation of Romania at age 14. So the coach saw how much a weight and my height and he just pulled my hand and grabbed my hand and said, kid, stay with me. I will try. I will make you a champion. I know it was great for me to hear that because I saw the pictures of all these big guys with medals around their necks. And I said, yes, I want to be the champion. I never knew what's going to happen after how much work dedication effort sweat I have to put in, but what I wanted was to be able to defend against the people the children that were bullying me, but now there was a different perspective, not only to defend what to become a champion. And two years later, one year and in months later, I was becoming the national champion at my age in kilos category. In Romania, I defended this title for 8 years in the road. I have a total ten titles of national champion for ten times 8 years in a row from the age of 14, obviously to 22. So you became a champion pretty quickly and remained a champion. What happened? Later. Many years. I was part of the national team with a 14 years of age. I was selected to be part of the national team. The 16, I was selected to be part of the Olympic team, which was a great thing at the time because I was the youngest wrestler to be selected in the Olympic team. Wrestlers 21 and above. This was for the 2000 Olympics. After the 2000 Olympics, exactly after the team come back from Sydney, they called me to join the team and my coach and the coaches, the Olympic coaches really having high hopes that George would qualify for the Athens.

How Gheorghe Ignat Got Into Greco Roman Wrestling and MMA

"I'm excited to hear your story about growing up in Romania. So tell us, how did you get involved? You're obviously a big guy. How did you get involved in wrestling and mixed martial arts? Tell us that story. So I was born in 1983, Eric in northern side over in a year. Obviously, under the communist communist regime, I grew up on the countryside, and I was raised until the age of 7 by my grandmother. So we grew up quite poor in that communist environment. You could not literally have anything were on anything, and I remember I remember growing with my grandmother, she didn't have many animals, but she had a cow that she would milk and she had a few chickens that will give us the eggs that we needed every day. And I remember that and this is one episode that I want to go to. I was like 5 years old when these people were coming once a week to collect the eggs for the Communist Party. So the Communist Party was sending people to collect the eggs, the baby lambs, baby, cows, or whatever that the animals who had their own, we have to share with the Communist Party. And I remember this lady coming in with a gentleman asking for the eggs for that week. And my grandmother was so sad saying, you know, the chickens did not add enough to be able to share with them. We barely have for us. And what was a small kid? And I remember my grandma has a basket with a couple of eggs under the bed, and I told in my mind that she forget about those eggs, right? And I'm jumping on my feet, and I'm just bending under the bed, and I'm pulling out those eggs. And I'm like, here it is, grandma. You forget about this. So that lady understood that my grandmother just trying to put some eggs on the side for us. But they still took the eggs and just made my grandmother to pay attention to these things to repeat. So we didn't have X for a couple of days. So this is just an example of how life was in Romania at that time.

Brave Surfer Bethany Hamilton Won't Compete Against Transgender Women

"I wanted to talk about this young woman who's a surfer. I think we got a clip on this. But it says, U.S. U.S. female surfer icon slams world surf, league for allowing trans identified biological men to compete against women, so let me see Bethany Hamilton, I want you to hear what she had to say because I think it was excellent and finally they standing up for this against this bull crap. Wrote a clip. Today I want to address the news that the world surf league has officially made the rule that male bodied individuals known as transgender athletes can officially compete in the women's division. The world surf league says they are following the Olympic guidelines. While I address this issue, I want to be clear that I strive to have love for all of mankind, regardless of any differences. But this concerns me as a professional athlete that has been competing in the world surf league events for the past 15 plus years. And I feel that it must speak up and stand up for those in position that may feel that they can not say something about this. I think many of the girls currently on tour are not in support with this new rule and they fear being ostracized if they speak up. So here I go. Questions I have that I want to consider with you. How is this rule playing out in other sports? Like swimming, running MMA. Have any of the current surfers in the world surf league been asked what their thoughts and opinions are on this new rule before it was passed or announced? Should there be a conversation with the 17 woman and all of the men on tour prior to a rule change such as this? Is a hormone level and honest and accurate depiction that someone indeed is a meal or female. Is it as simple as this? Who is pushing for this huge change? Does this better the sport of surfing? Is this better for the woman in surfing? If so, how? How did whoever decided these hormone rules come to the conclusion that 12 months of testing testosterone make it a fair and legal switch? Why is the WSL's statement about trans women competing with women and yet there's no mention of converted women competing with men? I personally think that the best solution would be to create a different division so that all can have a fair opportunity to showcase showcase their passion and talent. And I think it's really hard to imagine the future of women's what the future of women's surfing will be like in 15 to 20 years down the road. If we move forward. Great question. I think she had a lot of questions. Thank you, young lady. I feel bad for a car can see how nervous she is. I mean, I feel like I want to have a stroke listening to her talk about it because I know she's nervous and this is probably like the biggest decision in her life. Not competing, but coming out with common sense.

"That you were into mixed martial arts, like you were a champion, what level champion. I mean, when you say when people talk about mixed martial arts, I'm already frightened. I'm frightened folks. Don't gouge my eye out, please. But seriously. When did you get involved in that? And what was your greatest title as mixed martial arts champion? Well, I started martial arts when I was 5 years old. I have pretty rough upbringing and my grandmother brought me to have a kind of positive influence in my life. And so I always from a young age is starting to grappling based martial arts, wrestling, judo, traditional jiu-jitsu, in 1995, I was introduced to Brazilian jiu-jitsu which became my kind of core martial arts, mixed it with wrestling and boxing, and in 1997 I did my first amateur MMA fight, not really looking to be an MMA fighter, just wanted to compete and represent the martial arts that I trained in. And in 1999, I turned professional. I did it on a side while I was in the military. My military unit and special operations leverage that I ran a lot of martial arts programs for my force recon units. And then through that time of 1999, till my last fight, I think, was in 2000 and 15. I did 20 professional fights, a master record of 18 and two. I won a world title, not the look one, a world title, not the local neighborhood title. I wouldn't have my neighborhood to be MMA MMA world title. I mean, what was the title this one? So when the legacy of fighting championships title, I fought for the Bellator championships belt. I lost my first loss, which was at the time that was the second biggest show in the world. The highest ranking I had was I was ranked, I was ranked number 6 in the world

"Man. How's it going? Thanks for having me. I finally get to interview you now. Oh, all right. That's cool. Because I've been on your show, you've been, I think, three times now. You've been nice enough to have me on Sunday. Oh, yeah, yeah, it's great to have you. We gotta get you another debate. Totally. I'm totally honest. We saw that poster downstairs with you and vosges like the MMA. Do you think it's best to do it again with vos or maybe somebody else or somebody else? I mean, vosh is one of the few who's willing to consistently do it. Yeah. Got a good credit for that. Yeah, right. But somebody else. You are the number one most viewed live streamer on YouTube. For a live audience, apparently that's the case. Media matters was insulting me. And that was one of their strong talking points like fear him. He's the biggest, and I was like, I didn't know that. I knew we had some large presence when it came to life, but I didn't know that like we average basically at the top on YouTube for a live shows. How do you get to that place? Started live streaming every day. I think consistency, we started doing a nightly show Monday through Friday and we've always done it with very few days off. Holidays and stuff like that. But I think for the average person, it becomes a routine where it's you get back from work. You're cooking dinner. And they watch on their TVs. They watch on their smart TVs, mostly. That's been a big advance. So tell us your story. You grew up in Chicago. Oh yeah. Now your number one on YouTube. How did that work? South side of Chicago. We have that in common. Yeah, that's right. I had some friends up there skating. But yeah, south side of Chicago by midway. So it's like Southwest. I don't know, man. I got introduced to pop punk music, which introduced me into more punk music, skateboarding became very popular, which introduced me to a bunch of anarchists and very politically minded people. My family owned my family risked everything to open a small business. I'll put it that way. Which ultimately, I think, destroyed my family.

Robert Bryan Talks Karate Combat's Fan & Athlete Controlled Leagues

"You come from traditional finance and you find yourself into karate. So talk about that just for a second and then talk about how y'all's platform is now taking some of the elements of web three and incorporating it into your business. Great. So it's not just karate. What were the top strikingly in the world today? So what that means is if you're not sure of your criminal MMA, that sort of in a cage with small gloves, but you're allowed to wrestle. A lot of magic takes place on the floor. I really doesn't have that component. It's just striking. It allows you to be interesting to some people who are experts in the space to the general viewer. It's not quite as interesting. So we're trying to kind of make that more mainstream. There's a number of other elements that separate us from MMA. And then obviously a boxing does include kicking and has different gloves. So that's sort of where we sit. Any type of single sport martial art that follows our rules is allowed. We have people from taekwondo. All different all different walks, but is most similar to karate and karate has an excellent brand name. And we've been able to leverage that base to participate in private participants to become the fastest growing sport worldwide today.

Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill's Weird 'Adult' Relationship

"Millie Bobby Brown. Another one, she's 18 years old, this kid we've been seeing us and she's a kid on Stranger Things. She's developed into a very pretty young woman. 18. My daughter is 18. I can't talk this way about young girl. I can't say women, she's a young girl. She's dating Henry Cavill. And this is why it's weird 'cause for many years, Henry Cavill, you know, there was always a story about him liking very underage girls. That followed him everywhere for years, especially on the crazy days and nights, boards. Dad, Henry Cavill is got an a hankering for underage girls. Nobody wanted to believe it. I used to wonder he was dating my former friend who I used to call female MMA fights with. Gina Carano, who became an actress and is now in all sorts of movies, then she got in trouble, so now she makes movies for Ben Shapiro's company, but for a while he was dating her. And Jane is a beauty. Gene is fun. She's beautiful. She can kick your ass, she can take care of herself. Smart and that didn't last. And then he's back out there looking for youngins. I don't know. So now he's with Millie Bobby Brown, he's 39 she's 18. It's a big difference, bro big difference. And she says, you know, our relationship is very adult. It's a healthy one. He puts me in my place when I need to be put in my place. The things she says about this relationship. It's kind of weird. It's different because I grew up with Noah and Charlie. I meant that when I was ten. So for me it does feel like your school makes it Henry it feels like a real adult relationship. Like a really good friendship, a really healthy one. One that we have terms and conditions. Okay, can you elaborate on that shit? I know Henry, he has terms and conditions with me. I'm not allowed to ask about his personal life. Excuse me? It's like Millie, shut up, and I'm like, no, I understand completely. What kind of relationship is this? He's very strict with me, which I appreciate. Okay, can we start playing The Twilight Zone music? This is weird.

Charles Hurt: What Nancy Pelosi Can Do in Her Next Career

"There's a funny conversation last night on Fox News between Laura Ingraham and Charlie hurt from the Washington times. What could Nancy Pelosi do for a living after she gets fired as Speaker of the House on November the 8th? Listen to this hysterical exchange between Laura and Charlie last night on Fox News. So being the magnanimous team that we are, we've taken it upon ourselves to compile a list of post speaker careers for her. Charlie hurt, Fox News contributor and opinion editor for the Washington times, who joins me on set with his own contributions. Okay, Charlie. The first option is inspired by this recent documentary. The waiting for this. The trespassing on the capital grounds. All right, punch him out. I'm going to go to jail. I'm going to be happy. Well, given her Gusto and that clip, we thought she might want to channel that aggression into the ring. There's got to be some senior boxing tour somewhere in California. I mean, you can see it right. I mean, she's looking good there. She's almost looks like fetterman there. Yeah, I can see her. Like an MMA ring. Maybe she patty Murray can go toe toe because Murray is going to be out too. No, I can see it. And she is a Street Fighter. She's smart. All going all the way back to the streets of Baltimore. I wouldn't count her out. I wouldn't mess out. She plays dirty. She's a fighter. She fights for what she believes in. She was ready to go with all that legislation. I don't agree with her on anything, but you've got to admire her for her fight. Now Charlie, you have a suggestion of your own for Nancy. And I hear it is inspired by this moment. God bless you and God bless America. Thank you very much. I'm trying to, I'm trying to rip my folder, but I can't. She could get a job at kinko's and become a paper shredder. And she could do it right there. It worked for the federal government.

Marc Morano Explains the Left's New 'Digital Tyranny'

"Us about what they say they're doing. So we understand it as communism in your book the great reset out today. You can see the truth behind it. But when it comes to the World Economic Forum, when it comes to the John Kerry's the Karl Schwarzschild, what are they saying they are doing? Is this does this fall under social justice and equity? What is the packaging they use? Well, the packaging, their idea is if left to our own devices, we the unwashed masses would create racism, white supremacy, environmental destruction, to climate crisis, that we need to be led by credentialed experts. So it is like the socialism Marxism an old with one twist. It's got a technocratic edge to it. They want to use the latest technology and surveillance to literally control us. And the key here is they're doing it with, they don't necessarily need giant standing armies and a Gestapo. They can do it through a digital way to basically unperson people. They can de platform cancel defund you, make you irrelevant. We had the case of the recent, I guess it was a kickboxer MMA type fighter who literally because he came into cancel culture had his Gmail canceled, his website canceled, his social media accounts canceled. They can cancel your text, your phone service. We've had Trump officials had their bank cards revoked from the credit unions. We saw how Justin Trudeau did it. So this is a new form of tyranny. They make you irrelevant. It's based on a Chinese social credit system, though it's getting a mismatch of all the old systems, and they're essentially repackaging it into a new more terrifying and effective digital tyranny.

"But it's emotional techniques still involve coaching. What's that guy's name? UFC fighter who sews, right? What's his name? Man, what's his name? I don't remember. But I watched that fight in the poor guy just got destroyed and John Jones came up on him in the first place. And I want to see the article that talks about him sewing because that would be a fascinating article online. I don't even think Jon Jones gave up on him. I just think John Jones forgot that he was the coach. Oh, okay, Maurice green. Okay, the MMA fighter who knits before every belt. Okay? He's the crochet boss. Right. Just say it. Well, that's good because that's as close as he's going to come to getting a belt. He's going to have, he's going to have to knit one. The I told you, see? I'm actually going to read that article when we get off here. That sounds fascinating. Really interesting what technique he uses to so. Yeah, what size needles does he use? All right. What else? So Ariel helwani, I guess. They said Rousey is the most overrated MMA fighter ever. That's not fair. And I don't think her career demonstrates that at all. And now you could say she was the best at that point, women's MMA was still developing so her challengers just really weren't in her league. Generally speaking, but I mean, you can't, you can't say, I mean, she was dominant for her run. I mean, there's no denying that. There's got to be, I mean, ever, most overrated fighter ever. I didn't see a reason to say champion. He said, fighter, plenty of overrated fighters. Yeah. What about that Karate Kid that everyone thought was going to be the next thing that came in and just fucking playing? Daniel larusso. I really thought he was going somewhere. We met up with Mike Barnes. He did win the all valley under 18 championship, yeah. I was wondering if under 18 also meant 18 and under, or did you have to be 17 to be in the all valley? Because Daniel larusso was an easy 28, 29 years old. Yeah. So John hackleman is fighting against the TikTok critic, alpha legendary this Sunday. What's that about? I don't know, but I bet Greg's excited for that one. I know how he loves these social media fights. Finally, some legitimate MMA conversation. Dude, you know what though? "See him. I didn't say that one though. Paul dude from Ireland who beat this guy, Gabe green, who this kid's looking good. Like just when I think that Ireland's done producing stars. Yeah. We have this guy who, I don't know, 'cause I haven't seen him against the top level, guys. But man, this dude's 9 O striking is on point. I'm excited about this guy, and just you know, it's crazy. He used to say, man, there's so many Brazilians at MMA, why is that like Brazilian has like, what, a 100 million people, 80, a 100 million people in the country. Are the ones that I think 2 million people, two or four, I can't remember, it's not very many for them to be turning out. It's all because of McGregor, obviously the kids don't want to be him. So you're good athletes are going to MMA and set a basketball football stuff like that, but it's amazing that they've got they've got at least three or four or 5 good fighters now, right? You have seen people like poor though, right? I mean it's working class, hungry people. I mean, McGregor was a plumber. That's what shocks them and shocked me, but like, I'm just like, McGregor, he knows what it's like to be a dirt poor. And still sometimes chooses to act the way he does. Like you would think, bro, hey man, he didn't come for money. And you just, like, who's that quarterback? Johnny football? Johnny mandel here. You're like, didn't even need football. When people were like, he doesn't need football. That has oil. You're like, man, how much money do you have where you don't need football and you're a quarterback? That's turns out the rumors about cocaine being a hell of a drug are true because I think that's McGregor's problem and for everything I've heard from the people on the inside like McGregor loves him some cocaine. So dude, I'll tell you what, I've always been, I've never touched cocaine always been terrified of it. I had someone describe it to me one time. They said, imagine the first time you ever had sex mixed with the first time, you ever fell in love mixed with Christmas morning when you're 7 years old mixed with, you know, like all these other things all at once. He said, that's what cocaine is like, and I was like, I don't need that in my life, you know? You're lying to you. It's not that great. Honestly, for a guy like you, who's been to the top of the mountain, I feel like cocaine is great if you have an experience like super highs. Right. But when I did cocaine, I've had, you know, I've had, I had some high stuff. It wasn't all that for me. Maybe everyone's different. But my buddy, they told me that was also shooting at intravenously. So that may have been part of the reason for it. He goes, it's way better than the store. Look at how high McGregor was. I mean, it's crazy. I watched that Bobby Brown special because it's like a four part series. And he said, he had before he married Whitney. He had $55 million in the bank. But before Whitney, and he would go, he would go to a place, see somebody's car, and be like, I like your car, I'll buy it off you. Give the guy cash for it. And then leave it in the city. I mean, he was just trying to copy Mike Tyson. I went to Bobby Brown concert. It's a long story, but I went to a big round concert a few years ago. His Bobby Brown and Keith sweat, Keith sweat was the headliner. And so I get there, I'm a little bit late. I get there, Bobby Brown is singing like whatever Roni or one of his rock, which let his songs in his voice is so grateful.

Like pat rose follow me and I'm like, fuck, it's only a matter of I'm like, I'm friends with all their tisha and all that. I'm like, you know, but what are you gonna do? One of those things I'm like, it's a good joke. You know, one of those things where I'm like, that's the hard part about being a friends with people, and then writing funny jokes is like, so you like man, the joke has to be funny. We're like, I think if he saw that, he would be annoyed, but laugh. People could be annoyed and laugh. And it's a win. It's a win. It's a win. I'm really tired of like, I love comedy. Like, I'm always watching stand up and stuff like that. Either on Netflix or finding stuff on YouTube. And I'm just so annoyed with people that get to a sensitive about jokes and it's like, you understand, like you came into this that they're jokes, whether they're, you know, it's all jokes. It's okay. It's gonna feel good. People will get offended that they weren't offended, you know? Now it's to the point where like, I'm gonna tell you how to do your job. Wait, wait, wait a minute. That's not how this goes, you know? Right. But whatever. I had a woman, I'm making a complaint at the laugh factory. And they go, oh, I thought he was gonna be like Ellen. And I'm like, well, 'cause I have the same fucking hair. Like, why would I possibly be like, they really sit down and be like, Ellen. I'm like, first of all, if I was like, Ellen, I would shit on everybody. It's always the nicest people that you think are the biggest assholes behind the scenes..

What Does It Mean to Be a Man? Is It Worth Defending?

What Does It Mean to Be a Man? Is It Worth Defending?

"What does it mean to be a man? What does it mean to be manly and is manliness? A political and a civic virtue. Is that something that's worth defending in our society today? This is a topic that's being discussed in some of the more intellectual quarters of the right. It seems like it is a debate about whose man and who's a woman, but it's not really about that. This is not a debate about Leah Thomas, and it's not a debate about biological males and women's sports, none of that. It's a debate about whether there is a distinction between males and females that could be described as manliness, and is that something that our society should in a conscious way cultivate and celebrate. Now, the debate sometimes takes a kind of low turn in that the defenders of manliness start looking around and looking particularly at the left and finding very mannish women or you may say unmanly men. And so a lot of this degenerates into a kind of name calling Obama's unmanly because he doesn't know how to throw a baseball. Look at beto o'rourke. This is such a beta male. He's so unmanly. And the consequently, there are efforts to look at women on the left and in the democratic side, Michelle Obama notably. And proclaim them unbelievably manly. And so, at this level, the debate is nothing more than a kind of slinging of epithets. In some cases, by the way, conservatives will leave and turn around and say, you know, libertarians are extremely unmanly and. Manliness is a lot more than this. I think that's really the point. So what is manliness if it's not simply flexing your muscles or showing off tattoos or being able to show your prowess in the MMA ring, what does manliness mean as a political and as a cultural

"Is what they're trying to do. So a lot of our desperate trying to find anything to stop the withdrawals because withdrawals are so terrible, you know? Yeah, a 100%. So the high, it's just not going through withdrawals. And I'm sure painkillers is the same thing. Oh yeah, it's a lot of fun. Your doctor will only prescribe you about 10% what you need. It's not every month. So I don't think Jessica should be in paid every day of the month or not a few days and then be said after. So if it's a very great thing. All right, well I want to do it in two weeks and let's just I want to do it in two weeks. Which sounds very like sexual. By the way, this show on Wednesday. And this girl, the biggest boobs ever. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a lot of other big parts as well. But she was pretty face. Nice girl. I'm gonna go any questions. She goes, let me see your dick. And I guarantee you if I would have been like, all right, if I put it out, you gotta suck it, should have done it in three. She was just like, which I didn't do. But I kinda like, what do you think this is? Old dirty bastard's funeral? Not pulling out my deep. You may want to end it on that fucking. So this girl Hanson, who has an only fans, this girl, I don't know how I feel about this girl. I like her as a person. I've known her since she was 17 or 18. She was like the youngest girl in Viktor. She got a scholarship for softball to Harvard, that they were saying, she went into MMA, dropped out of high school just the coolest check, then she were a shirt that said pro life pro gun pro God. He's like, well, we'll talk about his whole life, but you got a big fight coming up against Anthony, pretty boy Taylor. Who had on the show a couple times. It was a good fighter. The guy's like actually want a bunch of MMA fights. He's Owen three is a boxer, I believe. Maybe he's one in three, but I looked into him a little bit. He's two and three right now. He fought some fights down in Mexico, and he got a couple of ways. But on the big stages oh, and three. But he's definitely got some MA experience. A lot more experience than I got, but he doesn't know how much experience I really got. You know what I mean? What does that mean? Well, I've been training off and on for like 5, 6 years. And I spar all the time. I sparked two nights a week most weeks. Oh, wow. I think it's time off. I love fighting. So down where I live, I live down the Jersey Shore, you know what Jersey I'm sure. Yeah. I grew up like, I was always the bad guy. I didn't really want to be, I never wanted to fight. I always wanted to be a bodybuilder and then like, that's so sick of it. So I started fighting at the gym instead of finding out public because you go in the fight, you get to fight the bar or something like, it all goes, you see what happens at Dylan Dan. "So yeah, bare knuckle boxing. MMA, all right, then let's get some more MMA news because I got to see you guys so Conor McGregor claims he has the best grounded pound in the entire sport of MMA. He knows how to troll us. I'll tell you that. Is that receiving? But ground and pound or dishing it out. He has the best ground pound from the bottom, I guess. Kevin Holland has been flying in people that troll him and sparring with them. And posting the video. Good. Good. People for like, they've not been going well. I've got a rapper that's going to come beat me up in Indianapolis at some point soon. He got mad at something I said on an Instagram and he started sending messages on there and I told him, okay, we'll just come, you can just fight. It went on and on for hours. I was in tears. It was really funny, but he still got to come beat me up. He says, I won't see it coming. So I'm just going to be walking down the street. He's going to hit me I guess or something? Lyoto machida is fighting Fabian Edwards and Bellator howells has been cheetah. Jeez. That's crazy. And yeah, so and then what else do we got? Donald Cerrone versus Joe lauzon. Is it moved to UFC two 74? That's a good fight, but I don't know. I mean, I don't mind that fight because it's too legends. I wanted to get paid and they're kind of at the same level. I think at this point, but hopefully the winner does not go on to fight some young upcoming because that just oh, well, Lorenzo hood got a two year suspension for a positive drug test. And he lost in one round. That's got to be the worst. Right about Lorenzo hood. He's on the same event. He fought for me twice, and then I put on with the pillow fighting. Yeah. Turns out his name's not even Lorenzo hood. He's a complete liar. He's using someone else's identity. He's ten years older than he says he is, like his whole story is a lie. Like everything about him is a lie. And he got to be friends with what's your name Rashad. Evans. And went down to moved in his house and was driving his car for one step and they were shot down down. He was lying about everything like he was having people over to tell him it was his house. Like he's like a pathological liar. It's the craziest, but he's not actually that's not actually his real name. There's some Bellator and they signed him, cutting because he faked a ACL injury right before the fight started. He like checked out like lair in the locker room, said he heard his knee, warming up, but they had also had found out he's not even who he says he is. That's a weird. He's got something crazy going on there. We tested positive for methanol. Which that's just what?.

What Is the Music Modernization Act All About?

"This discussion that what you get on the Internet is free or music is free. And so for you out there, if you want to, what is this music modernization all about? It's about actually getting people paid for what they've done in your life. Everybody who's listening to this podcast ran down can think of a song and it'll take it to that special place. It could be a sad place. It could be there's music that I hear right now that I'll immediately start crying. There's songs that I'll hear right now that I'll immediately start smiling. You know, those are the kind of things that matter. And we were losing a generation and going to lose the future for the freedom of music on a phone or on a laptop or anything else because the ones who were riding those strings, riding those joyful strengths, were not being able to do it and get paid for what they were worth. And I think this is for me now that I told somebody this the other day bar and it is brought back a smile on my face. After hearing some of the good stuff going on, I said, I bet there's kids now who will grow up under the MMA music monetization who never knew the struggle, but now being able to write those songs in their bedroom. The Taylor Swift who's never been discovered yet. They're sitting in their bedroom with a guitar, riding what will become the soundtrack to people's last ten in 15 years from now.

"You know? Now, to be fair, well, the chicken thing I'm not gonna talk about here, but to be fair, tyron is like one of the hardest working people right now. Every time I see him, he's telling me about like, you know, on that Netflix deal he's trying to get done music stuff he's trying to get done. He's got his hands in a lot of different pots. And he's always trying to accomplish something. So I would say that's definitely better than going out clubbing and slapping DJs and old dudes and shit like that. 100%, you're absolutely right. I don't understand McGregor at all. I don't get it. He was like, hang out. The kid he was at his kids christening. Like earlier that day. And he was hanging out with the DJ. And the DJ's girlfriend, that they were just wrestling. They're having fun. I mean, crack them in the face. You know, I mean, look, I've hung out with MMA fighters before. We're like, all of a sudden they start wrestling each other or like, I don't, I'm like, so maybe the guy was being a little rough too rough and Conor just let him let one go and but come on, dude. I mean, I mean, what are we doing here? Dana White man, I give Dan, a lot of credit because those phone calls must be like, uh huh. He did what? That's hard. That's hard. And the thing is the guy came from. He was a plumber. Like, I could see it like that fucking that quarterback, but that quarterback that was like Johnny football, but he came from oil money. Hell yeah. Anything. You don't even need football. It was just like good at it. So when he fucked up, you know, fucking like here. You know, or even Gina Carano. I like to know hirano, but I think her dad was a football player or uncle was the mayor. So like when she loses Star Wars deals, she's probably just like fuck it. How much money do I need? I have this money, you know? But a guy like he personally, the way I am is, I remember what it was like, not having negative $990 in my account. And having to look through my couch for quarters and pennies to eat dinner on Christmas. I remember those fucking days and I hated those days. I remember just having anxiety all fucking day because I knew checks were bouncing and I was getting collection shit in the middle. And I had to call up my friend to borrow a grand for rent and fucking this. I remember that. And I never want to go back there. My wife doesn't know what this is. That's like my wife says that a little bit, but she spends money, and I'm just like, Jesus Christ. But McGregor's got to know that. Absolutely. So you would think, right? Because I'm like, I'm in the same mode as you..

"Who who. Who will he choose. We are waiting with baited yes. It's minted baited breath. My friend take it away. I know everybody wants to know what is club. Radice pick who who is club or diga pick. Who does the combat she think will win the rubber match between tyson fury and deonte wilder. Who's gonna win before. I give my prediction. Let's see what led up to this so we all know about the first fight. It was a draw me personally. I thought wilder should one. That count was kinda slow. I kinda slow. The count was low and When weary with furious. I got floored he got up damn near one that round if wow they knock them down fear would win that fight. It was still close. It was a draw. Some people say if you're a one but because of that devastating knockout. Some people gave to wilder giving edge either way. It was a draw bill to the second fight. Second fight i mean fury swishes holtkamp. Camp up start training macron boxing with with with sugarhill legendary Transco for manual store recipes. You know saying nobody number legends in heart in hard hitters came out of a crop. Boxing up there in detroit but Gower sugarhill changes. Oh game playing math. Wilders ass out now louder has um you know a couple of excuses. He said here i. It was His suit was too heavy. But one actually address negro power engine recruiter table with attitude One should look like extra. Game of thrones. You chose look like that. So don't don't blame the suit. That was you buddy. So i said of the suit was actually twenty forty pounds in a long walk. look here you ain't demolition. You're not leaving the dum okay. If it was that bad maybe you should. Johnson arena around like us all awards going. I don't know but don't blame. Don't make excuses now. He fired mark zalin. His cornermen santa he always sabotage him and he did complain about the water and he was seeing double and it is a small conspiracy going right now because post fight. Fury refuses to the water. That that that they get. I speak fury refuse to take of the water that they gave him say that ten times. So you know at. I'm not gonna make excuses feerick. And what a great game plan came and heavier presa action. He is the best now with all those who i'd say He is the best boxer wade been. You might be a little bit of pure boxer but fury his ass goes bad and he really like the black olive oil like he's wilder. Didn't look prepared the second fight now here. We go third fight. Fury tried to skip him. Go straight to the anthony joshua so we can get undisputed. You know it was in the clause that water got a rematch. There was gonna be a rubber match if you wanna wait. Try to breach contract. Go fight josh. What they already had date they wanna fight. Wembley but there's issue with that because that's a fury does not have a license to fight in the uk. His has been suspended since he beats klitschko. Okay he tests positive for. Pd's for pets you know. He hasn't he doesn't have a license in in the uk. Now he can always get reinstated. He can call the queen he can call each elbow. He can call painting a bear. Maybe even danger mouse's somebody may wanna spice. Maybe they can help you know they could try license back into austin powers is helping trying to help out with that but you know. I don't know what happened. "Why? That's his own weight. One. One real fight. One real fight versus actual boxer, your weight. Anytime anyone says that, he goes, but I'm a YouTuber. I'm just a Mickey Mouse guy. Oh, is that right? You're a YouTuber. Is that why you're getting paid billions of dollars for boxing? You know, and that's the other thing. It's like if I was like, next up, I'm gonna fight this guy. He's the world's number one woodworker. The sky. He's the woodworking champion. After that, I'm going to take on this guy. He's a DJ. Oh my God, this guy's the best TJ. I'm gonna kill. Like, it's like fuck you. Fuck this shit. You want to be a boxer? Fight a boxer. Let's go on a record, finally, you know? It's so dumb. So this week, speaking of boxing, Holyfield, is fighting Vitor Belfort. This Saturday night because it was supposed to be Vitor Belfort versus after a la Jolla got COVID. I guess people thought he was sniffing all the time. I thought it would have been this was not. It was not Coke. It was COVID. Sure. I'm sure that's what it is. So we talk about for allegedly people said Kayla Hoya wasn't training that hard. But anyway, so now they moved the fight to Florida because LA wouldn't sanction the fight. They said, no, Holyfield's like 60 years old. But now they're fighting this Friday this Saturday, I think it is. The Friday Saturday, who do you think wins the corco? Holyfield or Vitor Belfort? I think Holyfield win because I'm gonna bet heavily on Peter Belfort because. A more sure thing than Peter bell for me to 60 year old neander Holyfield who can't even get a license, but because I'll bet on Belfort, I guarantee you always settle in. Without question. Who do you think wins, Greg? Wilson. Holyfield. Holyfield is still a master boxer. His brain still there. He's still now. He's old as fuck, but he's not a boxer. He's an MMA guy. And when you can't use your feet and you can't, you know, grapple, you can't do it. I mean it's very disconcerting. I don't care how much you try to focus on your boxing. You're coming in against a world class boxer. I mean, people was undersized for a heavy weight, but I still think he's got enough size and enough knowledge to peace him up. I think this fight only goes as long as Holyfield wants to do. People forget that like Larry Holmes fought butterbean. And this is one Barbie was knocking everybody out, but it was actually a pretty good boxer. I mean, he'd be like, he'd be a lot of guys. But when he fought Larry Holmes, who I think was like 20 pounds. I'm 20 years older than him. Holmes pieced him up, because like I said, it was a real boxer. I mean, bother with real boxers, but Larry Holmes was like elite of elite. One of the best ever. Is that and then also remember that guy who was the bare knuckle champion. I think not Shan, the guy that was Bobby, you know, you know what I'm talking about, right? The guy I know you're talking about can't remember his name. I know who you mean. Italian kid, right? Yeah, he was a king of bare knuckle, like he was born on. He was like a 120, you know, I'm like, but he would fight like a weird airport hangars against like anyway, when he actually fought Roy Jones junior. He got destroyed. And he was also that guy was also a real boxer. So maybe maybe we're right and the Holyfield should be Vitor Belfort..

"That was it hard for you because it seems like Antonio McKee junior AJ all these guys MMA guys are on team tyron and you're buddies with Jake Paul now. Are you in the middle of this now? Is it hard for you? Nope, I tell them straight up. Y'all better play in neutral. Don't play with me. Play neutral. What? I tell all my team a fight, y'all play, y'all keep it cool. Don't start no shit. Don't be excited with people, you know, if you're gonna sell it, people keep to yourselves. But you don't do that. What are you talking when was the last time you kept anything to yourself? I'm just saying, you know, I'm just being goofy, but I mean, of course, AJ and tyron had a relationship with Tonio highly relationship with tyron, but, you know, I don't know tyron. I've never met the guy besides that night. I've never trained with them before. That was the only time. Now, what's your background? Did you wrestle in high school or no background? I got into I got into boxing at 18 for a few years. For like two years, here's some amateur bouts, that was it, fell in love with a mere 25. And the rest. But you went into the wolves man. I mean, history in the body shop with AJ McKee, who's arguably the best guy in the world right now and bubba Jenkins, national champion. And other guys, I mean, how hard was it for you to keep up with zero MMA experience? I mean, zero wrestling experience. I mean, it wasn't hard. It was easy on me because I had no expectation. I was a rookie. No one knew who I was. I could see if I was just highly talented Scott like Aaron Pico before I even signed a Bellator. That's to be a different story, but I was just a young guy in the MMA world wanted to see where my niche was. Something that I wanted to do. There are other fighters that have started at age 25. That seems like very late. Well, a lot of this was due from The Rock. Like watching The Rock in 96 97 era, that was what made me gone to MMA without The Rock. I would never even did this. A lot of people that watched The Rock are not MMA fighters like you. So shut up..

"Of them, team GB Olympic team and like I said she's been out like just a second here right now so she's still recovering. Yeah. Yeah she I don't know. But I know she's going to buy and Taekwondo like she's just turned twenty-two on Saturday, so she's just coming back, but I know we'll see. Like, I'm happy for m&a. Bussola up to a job. I still just joined us. You made a face at her being twenty-two. Is that too young? He's only 25. I didn't make a face. My bowels making a face my phone off. Okay. Oh, what the hell? There you go. Yeah, I'm using scissors. And again now, John, how do you have you met Mason Jones before know John a big fine, big fine home. Thanks man, appreciate it off. You stupid amazing. So amazing, it's amazing as 10 and one he was a two-time cage, Warriors Champion. He's now one and one of the UFC I'm calling now to win. I don't care. He's also a pleasure to John, I go decals. Let's take a look somebody. Yeah, I know. But would you do, did you take long? I poke it was. Yeah, he was winning though. It seemed like this guy, I guess Alan, Patrick's not the guy wanted out of the fight like he was. Okay, you know, and the guy was, you know, there's a lot of fakers and like at the wage 35 Division. I mean, I'm just saying in the you'll see there's a lot of actors right now. So, by the way, so John. Says, one of my favorite fighters ever, you're a guy. You won The Ultimate Fighter, you kick ass. You gotta, you gotta fight coming up. Talk to me who you fighting where, when how can I watch it talk to me? I'm fighting on South Carolina, on a show called MMA. They brought me in to fight Cody Gibson. So I'm like, super excited about it because of the fact, I get to the point of making a face. I've been trying to go ahead and pay like horiguchi in for a minute, and I was a Kelly at. Let's go ahead and do this. Then that never happened because well, Japan just doesn't like Americans just yet. They they think coronavirus is a little bit too serious over here. So the person to fight back but we're saying how it goes. I'm going to go ahead and beat up somebody good now. Are you how's your weight? Sometimes you would get up to like one ninety two hundred pounds. Well, I get up to like a bid 168-172 age. It's like a splurge on a whole lot of pizza. And, you know, I got a real front turtle shell all the time, but but now you're good. Are you being smart about it? Yeah, being smart about it either way of making sure I can stay on task. I'm haven't, I.

"Like a great MMA trainer. Like he's actually trains a bunch of Fighters, a bunch of pros, and he owns a gym called fight science and I sent J more over there. He hits me up. I've seen a lot of Fighters over there. A little wrestlers, will hit me up like hey I need some rustling. I got a guy wrestling if he one guy. So that's the guy. He, he has like my guy, he's a really nice guy. So I tell him I say, hey, met him, I call him up, I said, listen, Jason, just got out of jail. He needs it. Kind of a fresh start, he needs. The gym, he just was in Orange County. Now, he has a couple of guys, he wants to train, no problem. So Jason like training there, the last three days, he's been coaching over there, he's been coaching, but the first day he goes to, like the pro practice such to help with like, with the pros. And he told me some guy, just walked in and got the wrong class. Like some rugby player never fought before next train before and decided to stay for the pro practice and Jason came in literally off the street. So Jason, like, has been in jail. He walks to a gym now met him Miller's coaching and he stays. And Jason was like, dude, the guy threw around half the kids and he didn't know what he's doing. He just literally, he like knew he's a rugby player, he was just throwing people, but he said he came back. He's like, yeah, this one guy came with the wrong practice and he had two black eyes, but he loves it and Jason. So he wants to stay, but he's like, he's not letting him stay unless he actually takes a class or town. Had just show up this on a Fight Club but that was just making me fucking laugh. It was hard. It was hard because you know yesterday I went to see it's been really hard not coaching like first of all I know I moved an hour and half from where I used to coach I don't know if I'm leaving to coach anyway cuz I got a kid takes me before it was like 45 minutes each way and I'm not getting paid much you know and so you know like twenty thirty bucks a session or something. It's just I don't like the the karma and spirituality about getting me out of fucking this crazy, part of Hollywood giving back, you know, there's a lot of reasons I do..

"In the same room I would see enough with him. Yeah, that's you guys didn't yeah, but you know, you told me you actually sparring them. Mina and you haven't oh, okay. All right. Okay. I got it. I got it. We have an Elven Leon burrito is with us Alvin Lee on break was ranked second in bare knuckle boxing. He was eight and eight in MMA, but he looked like 9898. Sorry my bad, but she didn't seem like you wanted me that he was like, you know what I just want to pull up without gloves and it seems like you've found yourself you found your calling man. Yeah your fucking kill them. I love them and you know, yeah, I never felt like I didn't want to be an enemy. It was just this opportunity. I got presented it at the right time and I was like, hey, I'll try it out and I love it. You said guys are you guys are gloves are big pussies and and I'm kidding dead. It ain't a lot of people a lot of gloves Fighters have the misunderstanding. They think they're going to take..

"Man, I can't I don't know if I may be crazy but I can't believe that Ben askren having trained in an a for the past twelve years can't beat that kid in boxing. There's a big difference between fighting Nate Robinson who has a nice experience or the other guy seems fought against zero experience and some guys, you know, actually been training for a long time. It's easy to look good of all people. I know it's easy to look good against bombs, you know, like my first thoughts were a joke most of them, you know, like the guys didn't belong in there. So it's easy to look great doing that. But I would if asked her doesn't win I would be shocked see with the thing about it is I mean he yeah, he's an MMA fighter, but you can't you're putting in a situation where you can't do what comes natural to him to do you're forcing him to be the opposite of who he is, which is you know, punches are flies. Take over the takeout wrestle this guy around and you take that away and now he's gotta stand there and just keep punching. I think this is a formula for disaster. I mean cuz he does he get paid either way if you guys made away he might as well just suck. Down I just beat him up from getting you know is proper share. We thought well, I recently watched a YouTube video. It was a compilation of Ben askren striking and my opinion of the video after it looked like off a couple of Middle School like kids fighting based on his end. Like his striking is it's bad. It's it's always it's very bad. But you know Jake Paul, I feel like he has some decent power in his hands. It looks like he does a lot of weight training. So I think he could Rock been a skirt in this fight fuck him up possibly. So I'm really although the guys that trained with Ben askren everyone that Rufus sport is telling me ask who's going to kill him. They they go they see them boxing. So if this is what they're saying If this is what they're saying, maybe they know I mean when you trained MMA there are some rounds right Shaun used to boxing, right? Yeah, I mean I do I do that exclusively. I would do box either just boxing sparring just kick boxing sparring just grappling all the time. They took a train into groups as a he hasn't learned how to strike some unless he just refused to work on it at all. Like I mean, I can't I mean he's been doing this a long time to don't forget Benz been fighting for a long time. So I mean imagine have been asked her and fought name Robinson in a boxing match. I'm pretty sure he would knock them out. Also, I think I think the Paul kid is just it's all like he's beating up guys that are terrible but so could anyone on this podcast? So,.
