"The characters used to travel freely throughout Fraggle Rock, the titular cave system, but the passageways have closed off. The Fraggles now have to find creative ways to interact and make music. Both new and classic songs will be a part of the show. That's according to Deadline. The first minisode involves the Fraggles receiving new Duesertudes, which allow them to communicate and play a new song. The show's production was a quick turnaround. Social distancing has been in place for less than a few months. Part of the reason the production crew was able to create the show so quickly, however, is because they were all stuck at home, too. And because it was all shot on iPhones and was produced in the homes of the crew and artists throughout the U .S. The Jim Henson Company, the same producer of the original show, is making Fraggle Rock Rock On. So viewers can expect a certain level of quality and fan service when the show form episodes air each Tuesday. Fraggle Rock isn't exactly a deep cut, but it's not universally well known either. Whether or not Apple TV subscribers at large will watch the show remains to be seen, but 80s babies will likely be curious to revisit the caves and creatures. And of course, children who have never heard of Fraggle Rock may even be amused by the silly characters and catchy tunes. I can tell you for sure that I'm going to show my eight -year -old Fraggle Rock. She actually loved the original. It was one of the DVDs we had in the car when we used to go on our big drives. So I'm sure she's going to love this one as well. ESPN has announced plans to broadcast the upcoming Madden NFL 20 Championship Series on ESPN2. The program will include live competition gaming and a docuseries called Road to Madden Bowl. On Thursday, ESPN also announced it will begin televising live regular season and playoff games from MLB The Show Players League across ESPN and ESPN2. A best of five championship series will air on May 3rd on ESPN. And I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but as a video game geek, it is fascinating to see in real time this emergence of esports into the regular sports arenas. It's amazing that we're finally getting these broadcasts on ESPN and all the big sports broadcasters showing what, well, I've been doing for years on my home console. For years now, researchers have been trying to bring improved haptics to virtual reality experiences, speaking of gaming. We've seen haptic suits from companies like B Haptics and Tesla, as well as VR boots, gloves and other handheld devices. Now, a team of researchers from Carnegie Mellon University is ready to introduce a new approach. Their wearable device connects users' hands to their shoulders via spring -loaded cables. It's actually pretty cool. The researchers claim that the product, Wirality, can better simulate objects in VR. The device sits on users' shoulders and the spring -loaded cables attach to each fingertip and a few points of the hand. Gears inside Wirality lock to create resistance, and the design takes advantage of the user's upper body mass to simulate heavy and fixed objects. Wirality could make flat and curved VR surfaces like walls and railings much more lifelike. It could also allow users to interact with touch screens and buttons in ways that haptic systems with only vibrational motors don't allow. In a paper, the research team explained the design and how they actually kept Wirality lightweight,

It is an all -time one for us. We did Black Cat, Me and Chris Ryan, Michael Mann movie. We were running out of Michael Mann movies. We don't care. We love this movie. We're probably in the minority. I also went on the big picture with Sean Fennesey. They did a Denzel Washington movie draft and I was on there with Sean and Amanda Dobbins and Chris Ryan and Van Lathan. That was really fun. I got over competitive. I'm sorry. I apologize to everybody in the room. Coming up on this podcast, well, the Jets, that happened. We're gonna talk about what happens now at the AFC East with Benjamin Solak. We're gonna bring in our guy, Sean Fennesey, diehard Jets fan to walk through his emotions the last 12 hours. And then last but not least, Nick Khan, who was running WWE, but today they merged with UFC. And we're gonna talk about that merger, what it means, what it means for the business, what's Vince McMahon's role in the whole thing. And then we're gonna talk a lot of sports media stuff as well. ESPN versus Charter, what the NBA rights are gonna be. So this is an action -packed podcast. Dare I say it's a TKO for you, the listener. Let's bring in Pearl Jam. All right, we're taping this on Tuesday morning, we got the words that Aaron Rodgers, out for the year, torn Achilles, Sean Fennesey, who I've worked with for 11 plus years at this point, diehard Jets Mets fan, Knicks, been a rough ride, rocky road. After Rodgers went down five minutes into the game, you just tweeted goodbye and it didn't respond to texts. We didn't know. I was saying it was like, Marcuson's gone. There is no Marcuson. It's like, Sean's gone. There is no Sean. How are we feeling today? Thanks for having me on the show, Bill. Really kind of you to have me on. I feel justified in all of my melodramatic curse talk. I'm sure I feel similar to how you felt in 2002, 2003, you know, with the socks and feeling anxiety. I feel bad. I feel even worse, actually, because they won for a variety of reasons. But we got a chance to see, like, this is a really cool, fun, exciting team. And they, I don't know if they were Super Bowl bound, but it's easy to imagine a world in which they could have been Super Bowl bound. So yeah, I feel I feel very bad. Very bad. Well, I think the revelation from last night was that Breese looked like 95 percent of where he was last year, which I was not expecting. He was a weird fantasy football guy. It was people like, when's he going to be 100 percent, is it going to happen? So the fact that he looked like that almost made the Rogers thing worse as the game was going on, if it was even possible to feel worse about it, because it's like, oh, this guy is like a guy again. Yeah, even at the very beginning of the game, it's stupid to nitpick the first four play calls. But I was like, wow, they're really throwing a lot coming out of this game. I thought the whole point of this season was to actually use the running game to power Rogers. Obviously, the injury is a freak injury. Nothing could have prevented it. He's an older player. That O -line is obviously problematic, but it was painful actually watching Breese play so well because that could have been really the focal point of the offense. And then Aaron Rodgers just needed to be competent and then this would have been a really competitive team. So it's like I'm legitimately depressed about it. On the other hand, I tell you what I really don't like about it.

They got together. They had been doing Zooms during the writer's strike, and then they decided, you know what, maybe this should just be a podcast, and we'll give all the money to our staff, and that's just what we're going to do. All of a sudden, it seemed like a great idea. I remember talking to Jimmy about it and thinking, this is a great idea. This will never actually happen. They'll never actually do this. Well, they did it, and you can follow it on Spotify, Strike Force 5. You can get it wherever you get your podcasts. Can't wait to listen to this. Super excited. Those five guys all on a Zoom together, just cracking jokes. I'm ready. So there you go. On this podcast, it's the second annual My Guy Fantasy Draft. Craig Horlbeck, Danny Kelly, Danny Heifetz from The Ringer Fantasy Show. We're going to come on, and we're going to talk about all of our guys that we like, dislike, that we're afraid of in the fantasy football season, and then went to Cleveland to find Garrett Bush, who is kind of a big guy there. I got to say, he's kind of a guy. He's going to tell us what to expect from the Browns, who are the most confusing 2023 team. A lot of that has to do with Deshaun Watson, which Deshaun Watson, are we going to get? How do we feel about Deshaun Watson in 2023, just in general? And where is Cleveland Sports going? What's happened to them this century? All the good, all the bad. And he's going to lay all of it out for us. So this is a really good podcast. Can't wait. First, our friends from Pro Chip. All right, it's the second annual My Guy Fantasy Draft. Our Ringer Fantasy Show guys are here. Danny Kelly, Danny Heifetz, Craig Horlbeck, my rewatchables producer, always nice when he pops on the BS. So we did this last year. We didn't win any awards, but sometimes you don't need to win awards. Sometimes when something's great, when it works, you just kind of know it, and we're going to run it back. Heifetz, you want to explain what this gimmick is? Yeah, it's you text us a bunch of ridiculous categories and then we kind of build an entire show, right? No, it's fun, though. It's just like it's a draft, but it's not a draft. And then it's it's vibes. It's a vibes episode. Yeah, we can agree on this. The concept is like you go into a fantasy draft. We all have the same kind of guides, same kind of rankings, but it doesn't capture the love. It doesn't capture the irrational. I just believe in this guy. It doesn't capture Craig thinking that that Pickens is going to end up being Justin Jefferson this year. There's just some things he already is or fear PTSD from bad draft picks from the past. I actually listened to a lot of the pod we did last year, and it was pretty funny hearing some of the guys we were like completely enamored by that ended up being bust. And then there were some other ones that I was surprised by the accuracy of it. Danny Kelly, can you ever be right in a fantasy draft? Can you ever go perfect? One in a million. It's like picking stocks, you know, if you get one good one, then you're set. Last year, mine was Romandre. I listened to our show last year, too. Feel like I nailed that one. Didn't get some other ones right. So that's, you know, we don't have to re litigate those. But Romandre, I'm calling that one. The take I was proudest of last year was fearing Cooper Cup after the year that he had just not liking the scent of something. This is veteran experience. I've been doing fantasy, I think since like 1989, 1990, something like that. All right. So I'm going to rip through the categories here. And then we're going to go at them one at a time. This is not, it's a draft, but it's not a draft because if we all have the same guy for a category of two of us have it, it's fine. We're okay. Um, the categories are my one true love, the guy that we just liked the most, my crazy pills guy. Do you want to explain the crazy pills thing, Craig? Uh, I think it could go either way, right? It's either you feel like you're taking crazy pills because nobody else likes the guy you like, or it's the other way around where you feel like you're taking crazy pills because everybody likes this guy and you don't understand it at all. So there's a little variance on that one. You can go either way. There's the my I absolutely hate myself for doing this guy, which seems to happen over and over again in fantasy where you go in there, drive like, well, I'm not going to end up with Russell Wilson. Uh, that was the example I used last year. It could be the example you use again this year. I'm not even gonna spend a dollar for Russell Wilson. Then it gets to the 17th round. If you're in a booger eater draft or, you know, you have $5 left for five guys and it's like, ah, Russell Wilson, Sean Payton, and all of a sudden you have Russell Wilson and you have no idea how he ended up on your team. So that is the, my absolutely hate myself for doing this guy. Uh, there's the, I'm going to add this category. It's a little sub category. The I'm staying away from that whole team team. There's teams where you're just like, I'm out, I'm just blind out. I don't want one person from that team. I'll see, we'll see if we agree on that team. Then we have the, my shameless Homer pick guy. That's going to be really, I mean, Craig, you don't even have to go. Uh, although there could be their tickets like plus 500, but I think we know pick is going to be there. There's the, my, I wouldn't take him even if he was free guy. So you're putting them on your D and D do not draft list. I had McCaffrey as my guy for this last year, which looked brilliant for about six weeks. Then he got traded a machine of an offense. We have the, my, that 2022 booty call isn't happening again guy, which is a new category for this year. This is the, you stumbled into somebody in the free agent auction, maybe in November, you wrote them for a couple of weeks, some fond memories, but you know, as a one night stand or, you know, as a three week stand and you're not going back, then we have the, this is a classic one. The somebody's got to get points on that team guy. We just look at all the teams and like, well, I don't know. Everybody scores 300 someone's catching passes on that team. Someone's rushing for 970 yards. There is the, my sorry, I'm sorry. That's too rich for my blood guy where you look at the draft guide and you see some of the salaries next to the guys. Then you go wait at $47. So Najee Harris was my guy for this last year. And I was proud of that one. There's the, my $1 QB guy. You're not, he's not going to make it break a draft, but you're also kind of secretly stashing away in your head. And we all have our $1 QB. There is the, my I'd be afraid to look on Tuesday and see the red flag guy, which I've added this year. I didn't even tell you about this category. You take the guy and it's going great. Eloy Jimenez is the ultimate baseball example of this. It's going great. You're feeling awesome. And then you go on there on a Tuesday and there's the red flag with the yellow box that there's news. And you're just like, Oh no. Oh God, what happened? And there's certain guys who just, it happens every year. A cousin of that, the, my, I know there's a 99 % chance he's getting hurt again, but God damn, I can't resist this guy guy. Then we have the, my Cooper cup. It's a year after the year guy. So I named this category after Cooper cup. So who is it this year? They had their year last year. Don't do it again. Don't get sucked in five more. The my, I just want everyone on that offense. I don't care guy. The my it's a year too early, but fuck it guy. The my missionary position. We've all had him guy. The my, I fell for the preseason hype guy. And then finally the, my I'd never root for an injury, but he is one injury away. That guy. All right. So we're going to start with my one true love. We're going to go and we're going to go on one, two, three, four on the zoom. And then for the second round, then the second guy will go, Danny Kelly, you're up. All right. My one true love. Who is it? I got to go with Tony Pollard for the Cowboys. I'm irrationally in love with this guy. I've been saying it. I think there's nothing you can say. It convinced me that he's not the best player in the NFL. Like, like just pound for pound, the best player in the NFL. Um, you know, last year he finished as the RV seven this year. He's going to be playing, I think more snaps, getting way more opportunities. If he can get up to like the same level of opportunities as Ekeler and CMC, you know, cause he's in that style of runner. I think this guy could finish as a top three running back in the NFL. And so I am, I'm just like full as a gentleman said, full bloom in love with Tony Pollard. I just can't, I can't help it. So in the ringer fantasy guide, he's 13th right now and he's gone for $42 in auction. So you think that's low? Yeah, I would, I would, I actually had Pollard too. Wow. We all have Pollard. Wait, did you too, Krik? I'm scared now. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that's, well, that's, that's, this is a sign that, yeah, this is a terrible sign, but I just, I mean, just to pile on to DK stats here, Zeke had 12 touchdowns last year and Nick and Tony Pollard was a top 10 running back. Like what else do you need to hear? Like every time Tony Pollard was on the field, he was the best running back in the league. And now Zeke's gone. Like I rest my case. This is the pregame show where they all pick the same team to win a football and then that team loses. So you should probably stay away from Tony Pollard. Wait. So all three of you had Tony Pollard for this? Yeah, I can give you some. We did not discuss this before coming on. I didn't expect that. Oh, my God. Talk about groups and Jesus. You know, it's, you know, what sucks about this is that means when I have my big auction draft in a week and all my friends are going to be listening to this. And when Tony Pollard comes up, I'm not going to get them because they're all going to bid them up for $57 if I want to get them. Well, Bill's like, oh my God. Well, here's the argument. Rich Rebar, who works for Warren Sharpe, he's at Sharpe Football Analysis and he is a really good comp, which is basically Melvin Gordon was playing ahead of Austin Eckler for years. And everyone's begging for Austin Eckler to get the job. And then Austin Eckler finally got the job and the charges got rid of Melvin Gordon. And then Austin Eckler still wasn't really a first round pick. And we talked ourselves out of it. We hemmed it on. This is Tony Pollard again. It's like Zeke is finally after five years out of Dallas. And we're like, yeah, any point you get Tony Pollard, that's actually crazy. Like, honestly, you could get him for forty five bucks. Austin Eckler is going to go for 60. Tony Pollard would probably just be better than Austin Eckler this year. I kind of genuinely mean this. Tony Pollard should maybe be the first pick in fantasy football. Right? You can convince me. Kind of genuinely. Well, he does have a great offensive line. There are going to be a couple of games against bad teams where he, you know, you have him on Thanksgiving or something and he puts up the four touchdown hundred and eighty yard game. I can see it. So I guess I'm up then because you guys all agreed. You can have anybody you want. My one true love this year, Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles, who I also like for MVP. So. Last year, he missed two games and they also blew out what what was a D .K. like seven, eight team, seven, eight games where they just like in the fourth quarter, they didn't even really have to play offense. They're just kind of running out of the string. Yeah, I don't think their defense is going to be as good this year. Sheila Kapadia on the on the NFL show has been talking about this. I think it's to be better than he thinks, but it won't be as good on it. And their schedule is tougher. But, you know, is it possible that he's like a four thousand one thousand guy with some sort of combination of 40 to D like everyone agrees they have the best offensive line in the league. Everyone agrees the one to A .J. Brown, Devonta Smith punch is way up there. And I'm saying like Schrager on TV this week was saying Devonta Smith, this is the year he jumps up to the chase class. So we have that with Dallas Goddard, who everybody thinks is the best all around tight end in the league, the guy who actually blocks and plays three downs, running backs, whatever. Put anyone behind there and they'll gain 80 yards. And then he's going to get a lot of the goal line carries. I think he's my top QB this year. I think I would take him before everybody else. So I don't even think it's that controversial. What do you think of that one? He is, I think you're right. I think the key point you have there is that he barely played in the fourth quarter last year. That's the key thing. He was already in a per game basis. He was the best quarterback in fantasy last year and he barely played the fourth quarter. Yeah. So you could argue he hasn't even reached the ceiling yet. He's our number one guy on the guide right now, I believe. Shameless plug for fantasyfootball .300 .com. He's our 21st player. We have like all our rankings there. And yeah, he has the highest floor and the highest ceiling. My favorite stat about Jalen Hurts, other than 18 rushing touchdowns in 18 games last year, Jalen Hurts had more games over 30 points than under 20. That's everything you want in a quarterback. Well, so he's number one in our guide, but I still feel like in a draft, Mahomes is going over him because of the Mahomes. It's just the most fun to have Mahomes. The R. And I actually think that's a little nuts this year. DK, Hurts is I think either 12 to 1 or 11 to 1 on FanDuel for MVP. And I think those odds are the most out of whack of all the MVP odds, because that's, if you're going to say the MVP is going to come from an awesome team, they're probably one of the five teams that has a chance to go 13 and 4, 14 and 3, something like that. He, they have the most talent on offense, I think, of any team that's going to be in the MVP conversation and we've seen him get better every year. So why is he 11 to 1, 12 to 1? Shouldn't he be like 6 to 1, 7 to 1? Shouldn't it be where Josh Allen is? I don't, is it just because of the previous like impressions that he was a, what was he a third round pick or second round pick and maybe hold on to that for too long? Or maybe it's just because he's surrounded by such a good team. I don't know. But yeah, like you said, he's improved pretty much every season he's been playing, even going back to college. You know, from everything that we've heard, he is maniacal about like working and leadership and just all the things, all the intangibles. And then, of course, you know, if he takes a jump as a passer this year, you know, that's going to be huge for him because he's already like one of the best running quarterbacks. He's double digit rushing touchdowns in the last two years. You know, everything about him screams just, you know, like the face of the franchise season. He's everything they want. And so I could see it like from a narrative point of view, for sure. It reminds me of what you used to have with Russell Wilson when he was alive.

You know why I commissioned this one. Why Chuck why because I thought it would be fun To put a old farmers almanac in the outhouse at my camp Okay, wait first you have an outhouse. I have an outhouse. Is it just a pit like a latrine with a log over it? No, it's a composting toilet. Okay with a little solar panel outside that runs a fan Okay, and the fan do the fan moves air through to provide aerobic Interaction exercise the with the with the with the poop and the composting Pete I just made a Compost tea like that, but I used a submerged little fountain pump. They create the air movement Yeah, pretty neat it is neat. So yeah, I got a composting toilet. It's good It helps I don't use it. I use it to go poopy if I'm there for more than a couple of days But largely I put it there. So You know some of some of the ladies in my life and and friends wives and things Don't like to squat in the woods. Some of them don't mind but I put that there So everyone would want to go camping at the camp and be like, yeah, you got a composting toilet I feel good about using it I can I can see the conversation between the couple in the kitchen back in Atlanta like one now He's got a composting toilet Well now I work now you can count me in Well, and now I gotta say is he's got a composting toilet and an old farmer's almanac in that outhouse Because I thought it would just be sort of a fun thing because I knew from growing up as a kid That an old in the south that an old farmer's almanac was quite a common thing to find in a bathroom or an outhouse To read while you're there on the john, so I have one there. It's from a couple years ago I need to get a new one. I should change it every year, you know, that's sort of the whole point of an almanac pretty slack and So I thought I was reading it the other day when I was up there cutting grass I was like, I don't really don't even know the history of these things and so let's find out So did you read them when you were a kid, too? I mean a little bit here and there is not very interesting for a kid. Sure But grandmother my Bryant my my dad's mom was a backyard farmer her whole life and you know, she was one of these people that Put a lot of stock in the farmer's almanac And so it was just something I knew about in my life as a kid probably didn't read it a ton though I was never exposed to it. I knew it existed you were from the north Yeah, it was Midwest but to Georgia Ohio was the north Yes, still but there was corn corn everywhere around where I lived Oh sure So it is a little surprising But the biggest surprise that I received since we started researching this is that you me Apparently used to read the farmer's almanac when she was a little kid Nothing you ever tell me about you me will surprise me. It's true. You just never know. No, you really don't that's great For those of you who've never met you me you wouldn't consider her a farmer's almanac type That's pretty safe to say yeah, so I was I thought that was neat she's very well -rounded but I In in like chia pet fashion went on and ordered this time myself a farmer's almanac I was gonna order you one and I was like, I'll bet he's already got one on. Oh, look at you very smart Also, I've made a joke about you're from the north as it turns out as we'll see the old farmer's almanac came from New England Originally, yeah, so I was you know people from the north There's plenty of farming that went on all over the country by God they even cover the weather forecast for the year in, California Exactly, they they don't discriminate. All right, so big thanks to Dave Ruse who helped us out with this one We're gonna talk mostly about the old farmer's almanac, but we will talk a little bit about its rival the farmer's almanac But we're talking about the old farmer's almanac the one that's that's looked the same Since its inception with that yellow cover the Four seasons. It's very Did you get yours in the mail yet? No, I pre -ordered it. I won't arrive until August 30th. Oh, this is for next year Yes, that's very smart Well, I mean what am I gonna do be like well what happened two weeks ago getting this year's, you know I mean like I want that you could from August to December you could surely gain some insight No, I don't like to waste money. I'd rather just wait But it's been the same well We'll talk a little bit more about the cover and its presentation and all that but it's very iconic looking if you've ever seen one It's been around since 1792. That's amazing Which means it's the oldest Continuously published periodical in North America. Yeah, and I looked it up. That's the the oldest Published anything that's been continuously printed in North America is the Hartford Courant We started as the Connecticut Courant in 1764 not too much sooner than the farmers almanac But then if you look for the world the the Swiss have us beat by a mile yeah, they have a What's called the post and domestic times the post ach in Rick? Tiden in Gar Okay, and again that means the post and domestic times which has been printed continuously since 1645 Amazing, but still that's nothing to sneeze at 1792 and they never missed an addition pretty good Yeah, totally in these these books basically, I mean those sort of an almanac craze at one point Lots of small family farms all over the country. Yeah pre industrialization There were hundreds of farmers almanacs all over the place a lot of regional ones Even local ones and what you would find in them if you were like, well guys what the heck? It's a farmer's almanac. Good. Good walk back. What it is is there are books that will say things like Here's when you should plant things. Here's some tips on cattle very importantly here are Astronomical Charts this is when the Sun is gonna rise and set in the spring and throughout the year These are the phases of the moon. Here are some recipes. Maybe here's some jokes. Here's some poetry So they would mix in some folksy fun stuff and entertaining stuff along with Sort of boots to the ground advice tips and raw data for farming Yeah, and but the big draw is the long -range weather forecasts like they essentially forecast the weather Generally for the entire United States and Canada a year in advance Yeah, we'll talk about that and they say that they're 80 % accurate, which is mind -boggling. It's it's almost unbelievable yeah, and it's things like I remember my grandmother referring to it for her crops later in the year to see like How rainy is it gonna be this fall? How rainy will it be six months from now exactly and people put a lot of stock in it And some people still do even yeah, so it's it's an unusual and unique combination of folksy folk wisdom and folklore even Things like if you want to have turnips in the winter and you there's no such thing as refrigeration Keep them in packed in sawdust during the summer or whatever stuff like that. It's useful, but then there's also like Astrology like horoscopes and that kind of thing So it but then it's alongside like actual legitimate astronomical data that is accurate It's a weird combination of really is and apparently it grew out of the medieval era And the word almanac itself seems to have been invented by medieval French astronomers in the 13th century although they said that it was an Arabic word almanac and That meant calendar of the heavens and apparently these astronomers just totally made that up Yeah, it was yeah, like you said invented by the French these medieval almanacs were they were just handwritten this before the printing press and They did some similar things though. They talked about like celestial bodies and Moon phases and stuff like that Eventually when the printing press comes along They were some of the first things to be printed like people live their lives by these a lot of times So they were some of the most popular early Books and periodicals that existed in the world essentially Yeah, because of their popularity and because even back then they were just kind of bizarre creatures their own thing They were also widely satirized too as early as 1532 There was a French satirist named Rabalais who created a parody almanac And he prognosticated Stuff that's quite obvious as a way to just kind of mock what almanacs do But he started a trend that lasted for hundreds of years and the most famous parody almanac was poor Richard's almanac Which was published by Benjamin Franklin from 1732 to 58 and what's neat is Even though it was a parody and they made stuff up and it was funny and satire of almanacs It also contained like actual helpful useful information, too Yeah, it did he wrote under the pseudonym Richard Saunders and It's famous for a lot of things one of which like you said it was around for What 20 something years 25 26 years? I'm guessing like 30 something Yeah, but it was like the best -selling for that long but it was very famous now for these a lot of turns of phrase that Franklin invented as Saunders such as We still use today Haste makes waste is one Fish and visitors smell after three days And of course the old standard early to bed early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise Very all came from poor Richard's almanac.

A highlight from 1211.Fixing The Metaverse Problem | Improbable CEO Herman Narula Interview

"All right, so today we're going to dive into some Web3 content. I think you guys will like it. Really what we want to do is explore how many of these companies are starting to navigate these waters. There's a lot happening around this space, whether you think Metaverse or you think Web3 and kind of this conversion. All that we're going to talk about today. It's going to be a good one and we've got a special guest for you. My name is Paul Beryl. Welcome back into Tech Path. Joining me today is Herman Narula, who is the CEO of Improbable. We've had and talked about Improbable a lot, but thanks for stopping in today. We appreciate it. Well, thank you for having me on. All right. So, Herman, let's get into a few things here and I want to kind of first kind of get a framework around Improbable for some of our new audience, maybe people that have experimented with their first NFT, started to learn about Web3 a little bit. Give us a framework quickly on where Improbable is today. Sure. So, in order to make valuable virtual experiences that are differentiated from what people can already do, like play games or interact in the real world, you have to give people something really new and really valuable. And doing that means expanding the scope of what virtual experiences can be. So, what Improbable has spent years doing now, I mean, a decade of our lives with iteration after iteration of technology, is making it possible to support not just a hundred people in a space, but tens of thousands of people connecting from anywhere in the world on a mobile phone or PC or Mac, just by clicking a link to jump into a world which isn't just a game, but is an environment that can support all of those people talking, speaking, singing, in some cases, happy birthday in this example that you're showing me right now, also interacting with each other in incredibly rich and social ways. And to make that possible, we have to handle orders of magnitude more information on the backend. So, recently we did an event with Major League Baseball where we brought thousands of baseball fans into a virtual stadium all over the world. That type of thing takes billions of messages a second that all have to be delivered at low latency to hundreds of countries and have to be done in a way that can survive hackers or other problems. So building the infrastructure to build practical, useful, and valuable virtual worlds is fundamental to what we do and have done. Another aspect of what we do is we make it possible to have richer digital items. So an NFT is really great as a token of ownership, but it doesn't actually do anything, as I think a lot of people have said more loudly on Twitter recently than before. So we created a language called Metaverse Markup Language, and it's totally open source. It's MIT licensed, and it lets you build a complicated, rich object just using JavaScript and HTML that can describe something that can live in a game or it can live in a web browser or anywhere else, and it can link to an NFT if you want. And those objects exist inside all of the worlds that are part of the M -squared network, which in probable has been separate from the partners. All right. So a lot happening here, and of course just the technological achievements have been pretty significant here. When you look at where the Metaverse is today, and kind of, I guess to a certain extent, I think a lot of people saw Metaverse come onto the scene when Meta changed their name. That was kind of the iconic event that occurred. We saw a lot of projects start to open up in 2021, late 2021, and early 2022. When you look at the challenges inside Metaverse, because right now what we're seeing is quite a few people who look at it, whether it's brands or you look at even users and players, that are saying some Metaverses are absolute wastelands. There's nobody there. There's a challenge of interoperability. We've got all these big picture issues that have not really been addressed right now. Where do you feel maybe the short -term future, but more long -term future is for Metaverses in general? Well, let's start by saying there's more than 600 million monthly active people in Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite. Phil Rosedale, who created Second Life, is one of the founding advisors of M -squared. If those people interacting in virtual spaces, buying and selling things, moving them from place to place, creating things, kids coming home from school and having whole new experiences, brands showing up. If that isn't Metaverse or Metaverse -like, then I think we're stretching the definition to some extent. So there is already a massive, almost a significant percentage of young human beings on Earth with access to these technologies are interacting inside these spaces. The interesting question, to build on your question, is what's going wrong with crypto Metaverses, or Web3 Metaverses, or VR Metaverses? And I think what's going wrong with them doesn't require a lot of speculation. We know the answer because 30 years of psychology and engagement research in interactive entertainment tell us the answer. The experiences are bad. If the experiences are bad, it doesn't matter what fancy NFT they're linked to or what VR goggles I put on. If you're not providing me with fulfillment, and that fulfillment can only come in a few ways. It can come from a social experience that I couldn't otherwise have. It could come from competence, the feeling of getting better at something, or it could come from making meaningful choices, then there is no real future to it. And I think the other big challenge with a lot of these projects is they're swimming against economic reality. So if the entire ecosystem you've built is around a bunch of people who've bought assets with the expectation, whether or not you marketed it that way, that those assets will go up in value, definitionally, you can't make money that way. The only way you can make money is if people buy stuff that they don't necessarily want to sell on. I mean, if you think about your house, most of the items in your house, you probably don't want to sell on. You know, I bought a sandwich recently, I don't want to sell that on. I want to eat that. So if there's no function, there's nothing wrong with people owning assets that are memorabilia or artwork, et cetera, but that isn't the foundation of a diverse and valuable ecosystem of users. I think on the VR side, while I actually am a believer in the immersive value of things like VR and AR, I don't necessarily know that they are the answer for some of the problems that the metaverse can really solve. I mean, we've talked a lot about sport. I mentioned baseball and you've shown some stuff on screen. This isn't a gimmick. This is solving an economic problem that is at the heart of sport, right? If I told you there was a company that had 600 million active users right now, and those users joined it from birth and would kill you if you tried to make them buy a different product, and they taught their children until the day they died, how much money is that company worth, that brand worth? Well, Real Madrid is that, and you'd think it would be worth hundreds of billions. It's estimated at about five. Why? Because about every year they make less than a Euro per fan. And that's not because fans aren't passionate. It's because, well, if I can't come to the game, because I live in Southeast Asia, or if I can't meet a player or if I can't have a social experience or if I can't really engage and feel involved, well, what can I have? So some of the events would be the last couple of weeks, like meeting famous football players inside an environmental space where everyone can speak. These expand the scope of culture, of sport, of music, of these other areas. So I think the metaverse has to solve a problem, and the problem can't be that you want your token to be more valuable. If that's the problem the metaverse is solving, then it's not solving a problem. It's broken. Sure. Exactly. Well, you hit on a couple of really interesting points here, and I think this is something that a lot of people have to get over to understand kind of this little bit of this concept of what maybe the real future of metaverses are as opposed to what we'll see in the blockchain space. Two things you hit on there, of course, is this brand equity or brand properties that are being transcended into a place like what you had mentioned there with Real Madrid, biggest soccer club maybe on planet Earth when you think about that, expanding that out there. Lots of great opportunity there, and obviously that will be a big part of that. You also mentioned just the existing Fortnite Roblox kind of connection. Those are already kind of metaverses today. They're just not necessarily running on a blockchain. So there are some things like that. Now, in terms of this capacity, because Improbable, of course, is solving some challenges here, you look at the current player count record that has been achieved by you guys, and you look at ... You had even mentioned the size of Real Madrid alone, and think about that times a thousand if you look at all the entities of NFL, MLB, NBA, and then the World Soccer Leagues. There's a lot of fans out there. What are the capacities for blockchain metaverses in the future? So we're able to host entire stadiums full of people at this point, and you can have many of those events running in parallel. And so you could literally take the ticket revenue of a sports league, and if there was six years' events, experiences, and ticketed people who can come in ... I mean, assuming you wanted a ticket, you don't have to, because we can run it cheap enough. You could do it for free. If you could bring Call of Duty -style monetization, that's two to six percent of the audience spending most of the money, to things with a billion, two billion, three billion users and fans, and you could make that interoperable, and you could make that accessible, especially to people on a mobile phone. I mean, let's think beyond football, cricket. There's a billion cricket fans out there, and you look at a 4G map of India, and you see some pretty amazing things in terms of internet access. If you're able to do that, you're not just talking about improving, building a tech company, or improving the metaverse, or improving Web3. You're really making people's lives fundamentally better for things they really care about. One of the things we found is that that becomes a vast opportunity. In terms of capacity, the blockchain really is just a tool. In the demos that you've just shown on screen, there are AI -based bandwidth compression algorithms. There's new approaches we've taken to rendering that don't exist in existing game engines. In fact, we've actually built a new method to allow generative AI objects to appear dynamically inside worlds. We don't talk about any of this, because honestly, these are just tools. And that's how I look at the problem with the conversation these days. Like for me, blockchain, and this is going to sound really bad, but blockchain is like a sewage system. I'm very happy it's there, and if it wasn't there, we couldn't have great cities, and we couldn't build a lot of good stuff. But I don't want users walking through the sewage system. It needs to fade like open -source software, like infrastructure, into the background. It needs to be a powerful enabler for things that your grandma likes, for things that the average football fan or gamer likes, without having to think about, is this an NFT? Is this on the blockchain? Is this a wallet? Is this whatever? That's the key to really making something really valuable. So our philosophy, and this may be as a result of being at this 10 years, having the hopes and dreams, seeing things not work, seeing things work, and building and building and I think a lot of people in the NFT space are quite recent sometimes. It's just pragmatism. Let's just create the things that matter. So we use central services. We use decentralized services. Where it makes sense, we use one. Where it makes sense, we use the other. But we always ask, what is the value proposition? Because the event we've just shown you, you could not run that on a blockchain. No one can do 20 billion transactions a second that are nowhere near where blockchain is. Well, I think the point you are making, too, is this is a societal shift, and when you look at the capacity of where technology is going, there's going to be some great opportunity. You had mentioned a little bit there about AI. That in itself is going to really create some new experiences on its own, much less what we'll see in terms of fan engagement, things of that nature going forward. I want to jump over to the topic of M -squared. Improbable opens up the tech behind Bored Ape's, Ape Metaverse, obviously M -squared. The engine behind this, talk to me a little bit about what M -squared is, because I know it's a separate entity as opposed to a probable itself. Kind of go down that direction and what the plans are here. There's a lot of technology and a lot of separate pieces, so I'll talk a bit more about the economic framework and why that's important, and then I'll touch on technology. Yeah, these are some really cool demos here showing on screen the memorable events from our recent history. But what I will say is, I think what we've realized painfully over the last decade is that there is a fundamental economic problem with video games right now, and that problem is the cost of user acquisition is ridiculous. It costs $10 a person on average to make someone play a free game. Let's just do the maths of that, right? A free game. Not working. Not working, right? That's why a lot of games companies now are just paring back the franchises they know. Exactly. You see layoffs, you see problems in the industry. And the other challenge that people need to internalize is the probability of a team making a hit game, even if they've made many hit games before. And I've seen this firsthand, and we support some of the largest games companies in the world, and people don't know this, but we do a lot of services work for them as well. It's basically like roulette. There is no one with a magic formula to go make a hit game, unlike, interestingly, in music film, and where you see consistent successes created by the same people. Games are a lot more variable. So with that in mind, right, it really doesn't, to me, make a lot of sense that a bunch of projects try to hoard users, try to create their own platforms. And so what M Squared is trying to do is to say, look, it's hard enough as it is to create compelling experiences, and a lot of the industries that we want to work with have loads of users. Instead of a licensing model, which is what Fortnite and Roblox effectively are, they're traffic -based networks. They own the user, they earn the equity value, they own the multiple on that view. You're a guest there. And yeah, that can be really great for marketing, but you can't build a business like that. What is the IP -able value of a business wholly dependent on Roblox? What is the revenue multiple? 1x, 2x, if that, you're not going to get there. So the idea behind M Squared is a radical view. We don't take 20%. We don't even take, you know, we take, I think it's like 2 % is the current number. We don't own the user, you own the user, you own the asset, you own the metaverse. When you went to that baseball experience, you didn't even know it was running on M Squared. But behind the scenes, like the plumbing, like the sort of network that we are, we ensure that all the different metaverse operators on top have the option to do pretty incredibly interoperable things. So avatars can freely move from world to world, items can freely move from world to world. People can create commercial relationships across experiences that don't have to limit them to one metaverse or another. And crucially, because we are targeting companies with massive numbers of users, but very little engagement and monetization, they're actually happy to share users because there isn't always a game on. There isn't always a concert on. And so it makes a lot of sense to create value that way. Now that said, we also are interested in ordinary open source creators. We have a live world right now at construct .msquared .io, it's like a debug space. And we want to let those ordinary creators build content that these bigger brands can bring into their worlds as well. So it's a different model. Yeah, for sure. And I think it really does open up the opportunity here, I think, for a lot of creators and developers kind of going forward. I want to jump over to the demo. And we have a demo clip here of the Construct. And I want to play it for you and then kind of get your explanation of how this works, all that kind of stuff. All right. So we're showing the Construct now. And obviously, kind of walk us through what the framework here is, maybe what the mission is for the Construct. Sure. So the Constructs are completely free, always on Metaverse that is non -commercial. Its purpose is really to create an environment where any creator can walk up to a blimp and just use basically JavaScript and MML to create an object and instantiate it into the world. And it's a way of letting people develop, test, experiment, explore. We host weekly creator meetups in here, which are a lot of fun. I think we did a lecture for a Swiss school here randomly as well. So this is like, oh, there's a dinosaur right there, actually, hilariously enough. It's a completely raw, if you've ever seen The Matrix, this is like the back rooms, right? This is the non -branded, non -professional, non -polished, rough part of the Metaverse where crazy things happen. Someone threw a Daft Punk stage at me, that was strange. The people have made guessing games, hot air balloons, and this is all just made by ordinary creators using an open source language. So Constructs where we test the bleeding edge stuff, it can support about a thousand people off the bat, just as a test base. Interesting stuff. All right, so this is good. I mean, for advancing the technology, obviously, you get a lot of creators in here to really kind of change the game in terms of just the ideation that comes out of this. So very cool. It's just a debug space. It's not something that's intended to house or to be used for consumers. This is really just a place where in the middle of development, and you don't want to deploy it yourself, you might use Constructs. That's pretty much it. And what's interesting is this isn't provided for a lot of other services, which is in the pretty essential environment. Yeah, exactly. So I think that helps kind of go forward. You guys are doing things quite a bit differently. I was looking at this headline right here, obviously you guys are a Softbank -backed startup, but you have a partnership here that's started to roll out, and that is with Google and NVIDIA. So talk to me about what this partnership means for Improbable. So this is the really weird thing about M -squared. It isn't like a normal technology or platform play, in that Improbable is just one supplier of potentially many other suppliers of technology. Like if you want to use a particular streaming service, or if you are a networking provider that's in direct competition with Improbable, and you want to provide your services to companies on the network, you can. So the goal of M -squared is really to facilitate the development and investment in infrastructure by many companies that exceeds the appetite of any one business, and can benefit lots and lots of other companies. One of the main problems with content -based platforms is that they eat so much value that the value that could be created with businesses on top is not created, and this is a way of rectifying that. So you see partners like Google, Ubitus, NVIDIA for streaming, but you can basically plug in any component relevant, different game engines, you can build your own game engine, and the M -squared leadership team, board, and founding team of which I'm part, the goal there really is to, oh this is a very, very old demo that isn't even our current deck that's now on screen, but hilariously enough, still looks cool. But look, our goal really is to invite different providers to contribute value to the network, and it's not exclusive, it's not something where a provider only has to work with us. That's another big difference in view of M -squared. The goal is to create something additive, not to take away from other platforms.

MLB Athletes Are Speaking up Against Sexualizing Children

"Up and did the right thing. I hope it stays that way. I don't know much about Major League Baseball anymore. I know a little bit but not a lot. I haven't seen a full game in eons. But Outkick has an article up there are some other athletes finally starting to up speak against this agenda, sexualizing our kids, inserting sex and sexual identity into every single component of American life, even baseball. Why are you pushing sex into baseball? people Are humping on the field? Is there something I missed? I mean I thought they were playing baseball. Why are you? I don't understand why sex has to be associated with. I'm not talking about I mean any kind of sex. I'm a little bit unsure why that has to be in baseball. Is a guy walking down the first baseline like a puppet? Like what's going on? Is there like something going on in the outfield? Okay, there's the outfielder in the bullpen. Look at what they're. Why is sex in baseball at all? Why? Why? I don't understand. You're there to watch a baseball game. Is there something I'm missing? Really? No? Okay, thanks Jim. I'm looking for some help here because I'm trying to figure out why if I go to a baseball game I have to engage in this ritualistic celebration

Isaac Paredes homers as Tampa Bay Rays beat Los Angeles Dodgers 11-10

"Tampa Bay Rays used to 7th inning RBI ground out by wander Franco to break a ten ten tie and defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers 11 to ten. Both starters got hit around as Gavin stone allowed 7 runs in two innings of work while Josh Fleming allowed ten runs in 6 innings, including 5 home runs. Reliever Jason Adams says Fleming ran into some bad luck with good hitters, but managed to battle. So I made a lot of good pitches today. If you go back and look and they just found some holes, so they were aggressive early. That's baseball. And he battled for us, which was huge. We needed that out of him. So yeah, to come away with the wind and a well fought game like that is big for everybody. "Sell way more t-shirts and hats and mugs and merchandise. Sure. That's their money. It's people interested in the Yankees. They got a bigger fan base. A lot of people care about the Yankees. They'll buy a mug, whatever. Harder probably to sell a, I don't know, Pittsburgh pirates, T-shirt, then a Yankees T-shirt. Let's be honest. But I wish baseball would force a salary cap where you take the TV money and prop up small market teams. If the rich teams have nobody to play against, then why does it matter if they sell a ton of merchandise? Hey, the Yankees all ton t-shirts, but they got nobody to play against. That honestly, I really would like to see them, I guess it's almost like socialism. I had fortunately, can we share the money evenly? I want to throw out a number. What about a $100 million? That's a new salary cap and baseball. And not only is at the salary cap, we're going to help make sure every team has a $100 million to spend every year. We're going to share the money evenly. I know there's already revenue sharing. Can we change it a little bit, make it even better? Something like that would help baseball. I hate the MLB because they refuse to change. There's a cultural system in baseball. It doesn't allow people to celebrate home runs, which is so stupid and the salary caps are insane. And you've got teams that are like Moneyball, remember that great movie, Moneyball with Brad Pitt and the book they wrote and with the Oakland a's did. It shouldn't have to happen. There's enough money in baseball for every team to have a $100 million suspend on contracts. But they don't share revenue very evenly. And they're happy to have the Yankees have a massive bloated salary, massive spending on players where the Oakland authentics have nothing to spend on players. And yeah, let's have this uneven balance and let's have them play each other. That's fair. It's stupid. I don't like it. And I wish honestly there was another league to cheer for when it came to baseball because baseball is a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful sport. Rob Manfred, MLB ownership, the culture and the MLB. It's driving me crazy and I desperately want to come back. I desperately want to find a reason to care and watch the MLB. But I just can't. And I please write and let me know what you think. But the lockout, the whole thing is ridiculous. I'm like, what? Why can't they figure it out? Play baseball games. Make it happen. I don't know. It's really, really irritating me. And I just have a lot of crocodile tears for the players. I hate them, they'll be owners, and I just honestly, I wish I could get into it and care, but I mean, I did enough to talk for like ten minutes about it, but that's my opinion on the MLB lockout and the fact that apparently they're canceling games to start the year. And also, I will say, I've been pretty anti player in this entire segment. Let me end this way. All the people that are mad at me about, oh, the players. Well, let's be clear, baseball players are the most valuable part of the league. I mean, you're not going to have an MLB without the people playing in the league. Which is why also honestly, I think this is weird culture and baseball where they don't like personality..

"I think that's going to be a fun match up tomorrow. It is chris paddock versus walker bueller And then sunday. It's blake snell versus max scherzer so Three of the best pictures are facing for the for the dodgers or or the padre. So it'll be interesting to see. I mean i. It's tough when you're going up against those three pitchers right because it's been so good all season long and if the padres i mean quits chris potter going to because walker bill. I'm just going to be interesting. What that line kinda comes out at. Because with a crip chris paddock has been a guy that we've been fading all season long But who knows. I mean if they're able to steal a game or two in the bats are able to show for the dodgers like they did in the carl series. Even if they get one game from from the dodgers. I think that's gonna maybe bode well for the For the giants because the giants have the cubs this weekend so They should probably get all three games from the from the cubs this weekend. The giants it politics has just been so disappointed by let like kids. I mean even if they did the games that they could have taken. The dodgers giants would've made that from st louis in that. Yeah they were one of the most hyped teams coming into the season because they have made all sorts of moves getting blake snail. Getting you darvish and the i was just so excited about this team. I think it has been said earlier in the season that there could be the same for years to come particularly the middle part. You've got vlad. "Call that a slam dunk for us for sure. Not get out of the park with that one yet. Well this next one was was another big. L. i reckon cincinnati reds under eighty one. And a half they are experienced. Sixty four so twenty five left. The only need to win nine. And i think the will do to give was the l. Knew enough yet. They have exactly nine games left against the pirate so nine pod pirates for against the nationals and three against the cubs so between those sixteen games. I'm sure there will be this crap. Up eight wins easy. Eligible remaining we could deal with the pirates stevens favor mood off because our next pro was pittsburgh over fifty seven and a half these. These boom teams just sue. I think we took the over and all of them. They're forty eight hundred. Eighty eight twenty six games remaining in the need to win ten which isn't beyond the realms of possibility ten from twenty six to give us a win moon. What you're telling me. Well if they're able to hold onto ninety eight or over today they have eight seven lead over the cubs. So that is. Let's say assume they win the game. That'll put us down to nine nine yet. Nine is or they have three left against the nationals. Three against the marlins for against the cubs in three against tigers. Okay get nine yet. Thirteen thirteen against some of those teams thirteen against those four teams. Then they still have nine games against the reds in forgets affiliates and we know the phillies are not a consistent team so I think they'll find a way to get it done to some other young pitchers Coming up we've talked about The they find ways to win games. And i think they're a scrappy. Bunch their offense as good as just if they're going to be able to pitch in. We're not asking him to win. Sixteen out of twenty six. Let's just say they win today. That's only going to be nine games. Left at twenty five twenty five billion the remote possibility for the pirates excellent. Yeah we'll put that in the food finish. Got our final. One mood is an al west on the dodgers. We took the under on a hundred and two and a half games mainly because we thought the policies would take quite a lot from them out that way and the giants have actually proved to be there. The competition the eighty six fifty so with twenty six games left they need seventeen. wins needles. Seventeen and nine move. I'm all this stone is a slight advantage. There's not what you in this at all is yeah this is gonna. I think we talked about that. We're talking about last week that the fan guests had Both the giants and the dodgers finishing with a hundred into wins. And if you look at their schedule Or remaining opponents that easiest ones remaining are six against diamondbacks who we've mentioned and we back a couple of times over the past. Several weeks with some of our picks They're not laying down either the rockies if that if that of those three games are in coors field we know that the rockets are one of the best teams in the national league and after their tough opponents are they have wanted out against the giant and the three against the brewers against the padres three against the reds are four against the cardinals so Dabbing this one year right. That is probably gonna end up as a photo finish for the dodgers window that we predicted so food. Ten the ten that we picked out the we got three three wins..

"Tickets and the next one is our first store called loss of the season and we took the over on texas at sixty seven in off the currently forty seven games so of the remaining twenty seven they would need to win twenty one. That's not going to happen too big. We don't dwell on texas. They've been absolutely horrific rubin in the national league. Atlanta was our first pickier in the analyst under on the tool ninety one and a half twenty seven games left in the it would need to win. Twenty one of them to cash that. So that's That's an absolute stolen called. That's that's a win. Seventy one in sixty four and as we see over two or three weeks. it's the division. Nobody wants to win. The mets have kept me alive over this weekend. Nelly sweeping the so four four from four currently with the game to go off tonight. Yeah for the The fifth easiest schedule remaining by their tough opponents are also three against the giants for against the padres and then it's pretty much in their division three phillies three against the mets Atlanta team again dealing with a lot of injuries right. We talked about how this was good. Mike sirocco back but they didn't get him They lost obviously ronald kunia. Junior for the season So you know. They did a great job at the trade deadline by we keep on saying that nobody wants to win this division and they're not winning game so i think this is going to be a slam dunk win for us for sure. Absolutely i think the next one is our is our other slam. Dunk quinn as well enough in the. Nl central was saint louis under eighty six and a half games. They are sixty nine hundred. Sixty five meeting with twenty games remain in that need to win eighteen. The need to go eight eight then gonna do that enough. I think this is a job as well. Yeah third heart schedule remaining For the saint. Louis cardinals four against the. So between the brewers sorry the brewers and the dodgers they have twelve games against those teams in eight of them are against the The brewers so You know a lot of division games left. They saw the reds. The easiest opponents left are are the cubs in the cubs are still there. There are still finding ways the win against some of these These teams so Yeah we're third hardest remaining schedule..

"Though there their game and a half up on you much a okay. So the oh. They're they've played one more game. They're they're both at have one fewer have one less loss and they have two more wins. I haven't seen him at fifty one hundred forty six. Will you're wrong. They're fifty three and forty six. Why is this not updating. That's ridiculous crock shit. This website is refresh it. And it's a new page. I had standings wildcard and the new the page refreshes from that day's page. It actually does refresh like what's happening. So i mean the seattle mariners our garbage. But guess what are you exit forty so it doesn't matter the yeah they're still four for enough games it doesn't matter no but the board teams you have to jump the harder it is but bob. You're what you just said. You're probably true but it's infuriating. Because if they have opportunity one of the reasons why they're in the spot and only going after that second wildcard is because of the guy that were saying can't get rid of because they're still opportunity. It's it's it's in spite of him. That is the reason then of of those. The team helps dahmer. The owner of the team. Like two weeks ago said he trusts the manager and he trust the general manager. And it's on the players this weeks ago it's bad stock. He's boo boone's a reflection on. I think the entire organization right now. And i think it's too soon until until they're cheerfully out of it. They're not gonna get given that. What the odds of it though is at ten games out. Is it seven games out like what is seriously out of it. The trade deadline is is five days. Away okay i think when. They're mathematically out of the playoffs. There's no way they could do at the trade deadline. Do they acquire that. Do they acquire at the trade deadline. I am asking both of you. Do they acquire some of the trip. Because if you're going for if you're in the race right there in the race they're not gonna mathematically be out of this until september so that's no so the at that point just wait until the season's over but but so they're going to acquire the trade deadline right which is five days away. Okay choir the trade deadline. They're not gonna also get rid of the manager. Even though for all the reasons you said that is a good move because you get a new voice in there you get fresh blood you get guys to start playing baseball fine. I agree with all that. But that's not how this team operas organization operates. They will not acquire players and also fire the manager. Those things will not happen at the same time simply simple answer yes or no. Kurt rosser no acquisition skirt. Rosser is what it is. It's a yes or no question okay. Does this team play. Better under aaron boone for the rest of the season or a new voice same roster. Same everything did they have a is is do. They have a better chance of making the playoffs. Yes or no the new voice. Yes because our the bad manager. But i don't asked me you said do they have a better chance. Yes or no better chance yes. Better shops of yes. yes but they don't. I don't think they make the playoffs though. Okay the but that wasn't it that you're giving themselves an opportunity gives us a better opportune better. Opportunity is with different person literally. I think any change is a step in a better direction than what they're going because nothing's changed since april. That's i think that one hundred one hundred said the exact same thing. No i don't think so. I think everybody would want bear like nobody who i have. Not seen one apologist for aaron boone. At this point are those idiots are out there. If you're one of those idiots and you're listening please let us know..

"Show episode five hundred. sixteen spring. Training is rolling on and i am covered in urine. Yes that sounds weird. I'm very happy to hear this. You know when you tweeted that it's out of control. It's you've no idea how happy i am to hear this. I i really do think he's it on purpose at this point. He's peed on me almost every day for the for him you any makes he makes eye contact and he's like you know what i know. You just cleaned my diaper and there was. But i got a little more where that came from boom. Here's another here's another shame on you. Shame on you for not having your reflexes down by this point under sending. That's going to happen. What if i told you about expectations. I told you that this this is. This was like Some karate kid shit here wax on wax off. This was preparing you for fatherhood and and you have. You have failed. Let's go you need. Need pair for left hand needs to wax on with the diaper. You're ready to go don't win. He's a week yesterday. He peed all over his face. And we're like hi. Gotten his eyes and he started crying. Hysterically like okay. Let's get him in the bath. So i pick them up and i'm him over to the bath and somehow even pete himself. He peed more on the way to the bat. It's just like it. I know it's been joking. Like i need this. Pptp i've been shamed on twitter. People saying that's a waste of money even though it's like five dollars money they don't sired is bullshit. It's bullshit these are just gimmicks that they get parents to buy things when they're desperate desperate at this point i just i just want to be stopped. P. i wanna be stopped getting pete. I'm like i'm like those are kelly's oh jeez the The thing is you're going to buy it and he's going to stop. That's what happens. Fit whatever is a five dollar purchase. It'll make me feel better. Needs a he needs a p poncho not a pptp. Good for good for you. Keep the keep the industry booming but make make more worthless. Products were three weeks in and Spring training spring training is about a weekend. There's been some some games. Some game action gained. Did you did you. Did you get a little excited. When the first game happened there were some fans in the stands. The yankees always wear their pinstripes for the first for spring training game of the year. There's a little it was a little cool. It was very cool. I loved it. I get one. Seen the fans back in the stands is just exciting to see man you know. I don't know where where we'll get by the end of the year. Hopefully it's More than ten percent I have a feeling the vaccinations Get get further along with With with adults then you know. I think gigi stadium probably opened up more mobile open up more. they pushed the triple. Ac's back a month ish a month. Yeah there's going to be alternate site. In the meantime i could see them just keeping even when the minor league season starts. I could almost see them. Keeping an alternate site going because it is kind of isolate a few players. Maybe yeah just to make sure if something ravages say the scranton clubhouse like cova goes to the scranton clubhouse then the major league team is because that entire squad can't go up even even guy test is not positive for covid if he's in contact with other players who have been positive so i could just see them keeping this alternate site thing going throughout the surprise me. Either and pushing the season back a month. the minor league season. I do understand it because you know major league is they can control a heck of a lot more on the road or with the team is just every day. You're doing things minor leagues are. You know you're you're you're you're in a different situation at that point you. You're with the younger guys. Usually in smaller cities not as much control so pushing it another month. They're staying ramadi pushy getting another month to To to hopefully just again waited out you know. Get some more vaccinations going. I think make sense. Because i think that's what their big fear is. I don't think is as fearful knock on wood with the season and like what's happening up there. Because if they were to hold the dual last year they should be able to do it this year and i think they have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen but the scope of what they're trying to do. This year is much different than what they did us true but i still think that they can take in control a lot. They can control a good amount of what's happening. There's a full schedule like there's an entire schedule. They're they're going to be playing. It's not just playing on your coast right more. The yankees are going to be flying anytime the yankees are going to be flying. that is. that's how that's how it goes you go to the other The other teams park. And you play there and there's gonna be there's going to be there's going to be fans in the stands as i mean if you're in texas or florida screw. It's one hundred percent. Did i know. Texas said one hundred percent did florida also. I don't think so not yet. At least i know the spring training's not so there i think it also depends on obviously the ballparks and the and the team and how they're yes. So that was the governor of texas said one hundred percent so the astros in the rangers could potentially have one hundred percent of people in in their new ballpark in arlington. You gotta show off that. You're the. I love last playoffs when when that ballpark got shamed for looking like a like a like a home depot outside. Her was talking about expectations versus reality. Did you see those memes. Whereas like the the designs for the stadium. They were like this beautiful brick exterior than the actual thing. That looks like a freaking like airplane. Hangar that's like the metlife when metlife isn't on game day. It's just like a a steel. Looks like a an alien came down in the meadowlands dropped because everything is illegal lands. Everything is led depending on who's playing their. The meadowlands is a real sad place. You've got the giant football stadium. You've got this indoor ski hill and you've got a ton of dead bodies buried by the mob somewhere in the fact that ski the fact that the ski slope is actually back back in the plants because it sat there for a while Xanadu sat there for a while. Is it is it. Operational think it's operational yesterday. But i could be wrong. I know it's it's been construction for like eighty five years but the the fact that it gets it's back in action we're like oh yes someone's we're back let's go someone someone in two thousand nineteen. Oh yeah mall big time. Let's go right in the middle of it was just a. It was just a an interesting decision. The fact that there's going to be a ski slope in the mall in the meadowlands. Yeah we'll see how that the scope of the twenty twenty one season. It's a full schedule. It's flying across the country. It's it's fans in the stands whether it's ten percent twenty percent one hundred percent that means clubhouse attendees and personnel all of the different people involved in putting on a major league baseball game. We're going to come in contact with a lot more people. So so my point is yes they they..

arlington twenty percent texas twitter ten percent five dollar one hundred percent eighty five years last year this year This year five dollars three weeks Xanadu florida More than ten percent first game yesterday sixteen spring scranton clubhouse

"Look i am. I am increasingly more and more just not caring about all of these these other circumstances that are happening. Let me tell you why. Because i do you know if this is actually right no you. Don't no i do not smart enough to know. What are they are they talking about. The seems being raised or lowered or anything about that. Because i'm not saying much about that. Either and actually that was one of the biggest impacts from what the pitchers had talked about was the seam was the scene being raised or not the amount of blisters that were happening because the seems raising literally cutting guys hands because of the way that they've always thought the seems were lower and that's why the balls were were becoming more aerodynamic right. That's my point. But you're remember i keep going back to this article that i found last year two years ago. Now of of these guys have bush or some shady. Pdf up until like google. It was it was. It was post game notes from beat reporter. It was shady. But it wasn't it wasn't really an article though. You said it to me. And i was like. Why am i downloading actual transcripts of conversation. It's more real than article you entered an alternate dimension where you where you just blacked out and just spewed a bunch of nonsense about baseball. Seems i listen to these guys who have blisters all of a sudden. There's everybody's having blisters. Why because their hands are getting cut by. The frequent seems that are being that were raised. There's also a condition with the seems is. Are they lower. Are they higher. I don't know what's going on with that because that will affect the feel like you said. Even david cone would talk about this on the broadcast and yes multiple times. He's holding. He can't feel the seems as much and you cannot feel the seems especially in colder weather it will affect the flight of the ball and how it comes out of your fingers. That's a big deal. So is the ball. Juiced is the ball nut juice or the seems up the down. I don't know. I don't know and i don't care i just don't everybody's using the same balls everybody's using the same two to hit in pitch and it just doesn't matter to me as much anymore because it's a relative length level playing field even though it's different from last year so i'm just carrying about that just like throw the ball. The guy will hit it or not and it will go out or it won't the thing i found interesting from the article is that they've referenced. The korean baseball organization. So the k. B o man similar change in the baseball similar. Sto like technical change as far as differences and slugging percentage year-over-year went down fourteen percent and homers were cut by third. That seems like a very drastic change. A third thirty three percent decline in home runs would be massive. I don't know if that would be acceptable to baseball. I feel like that. There would be an outcry base book because home runs. Went up twenty two percent for a year over year when we were talking about the baseball being juice. So now if you take out a third of that. We're going to be like what's going on here. Well it was the. I don't know where that is. As far as increase in home runs before that as well. I mean was it. The same percentage increases. We're seeing across the board here was a relooking at a league that doesn't hit as many home runs and then so you saw a more dramatic decrease again. I don't know man. I don't i don't know what any of this means. The t to me. It means nothing. It's all it's all a bunch of bullshit. Scientists numbers that mathematicians in nerds can compute in their computers. And then figure out something at the end of the season when they have all the data. But you know what what i'm looking for. The only thing that matters to me is if david cone says yes. This feels different. I can't get the same The same spinner. The same release on my slider. Like that to me is different. That makes sense. Let me let me put it to you this way because i do agree with you like all this point. Five seven zero point five five zero the core the grams of whatever who. Who actually cares. What i want is global warming. Come into play what i want. Is that what. I'm watching a baseball game areas. I've watched i've watched so many baseball games in my life that i have not to brag or anything but i can usually tell when a ball is going to be a home run or not a home. Run off the bat. You could tell by a lot of different factors when we were in the stands in james paxton through that ball after aaron boone. Went out there. The first pitch to type hype your The james paxton up. Did you think that ball was in the stadium or out of the stadium. I will so it's different being in just answer the question i thought it was out of the state. It was gone off the bat and are nuts runner or keel. That's partially because of the juice. Baseball what i want to get back to. Is that what. I see a ball hit. I don't wanna have to think in the back of my head. No choose baseball. That's probably going to be gone. I don't want to be surprised by what we're pop flies. Leaving the park. I think back to that. Justin orlando quote where he said that he is actively just trying to miss bats because he is sick of getting weak contact. That go out of the ballpark. That's not that's not baseball but but the other thing about that too. Is that the approach of baseball. The approach of guys at the plate with the whole launch angle movement and everybody literally swinging for the fences effects this so there are multiple things to take into play here. Yes juice staff. That's a good point that could change the overall that could change. That could certainly change for the game. It absolutely is a big change. Because now guys are being intentional about how they're approaching their their bats and they're literally swinging for the fences because they want impact they want production. So yes there's going to be more of an emphasis and more balls flying out even if the polls weren't juice we have seen a pretty tremendous increase because of the approach of the app at the app s from the players so again none of us. That's why none of this like there's too many factors for for me to really really care that much about your point. Zero zero zero five of core. Which is an acronym which everybody thought was the literally core of the baseball which they're just being tricky again which pisses me off. It's not. co are eve like the core like the earth's crust core. It's the core ceo which is a stupid acronym. That makes it even more nerdy. And i don't care because they're trying to trick people will think he's done just place as we get this straight. Let me get this straight everything that has been brought up this episode. The the juicing of the baseball the health and safety protocols the will they won't they Delay the season seldom. So it's all delaying the season. that's not dumb. it's just like let's get out and play baseball if they delay the season. We'll see what happens but all of these little tiny intricacies About when they're playing they just don't matter to me as much. I just wanna see them. Play the game and then and then we'll find out what the results are and then we'll argue if they were not if the ball was used or not or if it was the launch angle or if the weather was changed in particular percentage on that day warmer more humidity. I don't know what is it called when the when the when the the Humidity comes in heavy. It was something a swarm or something in the that we got in san diego right. It was like the humidity came in in a way off off of the pacific ocean that they gave us some other name..

"A clubhouse pest and he doesn't fit in guess what he could be gone after one year and i'm willing to take that risk for one year but i'm not willing to take that risk for seven years. Yeah well i mean that was that that was part of the mentality i think. Trevor bauer and i just don't think that the yankees they clearly i mean they. They prioritize different things and and they they clearly said luxury. Tax threshold is a priority. We're not gonna get into this one year deb bidding more trevor bauer because that's essentially what it came down to. So how does this does. This change your. It's difficult because the nationally but does this change your your championship expectations for the yankees. Because you could make arguments that the best teams in baseball are now in the national league. The dodgers in the padres. I don't think the padres are as well rounded of a team. I mean they know the show but they still have to show it but they got a hell of a lot better this season and the dodging the reigning champs and they added the best free agent pitcher. If you're looking at the at the two teams on paper who the basser. It's it's the dodgers and the yankees to me still but the dodgers gotta help and yet they got better they got deeper in in the rotation. Which is you know. I mean you look at that rotation in the regular season and it's scary now now translate that to the postseason and should you got to almost two aces per game that you could deploy. If you really wanted to like legitimately could do that that you could have two two starting pitchers in game one and game two ready to go and not miss a beat. So it's pretty scary. What they could do they still have to go through a whole bunch to get to the world series. So it's kinda one of these I'm glad there in the national league. Worry about it when it when it happens if it happens but those are the dodgers yankees is to me the overwhelming favourite for the world series. That's been circling the drain for for five seasons. Now i want us. It's really. i wish it happened before. The dodgers had won a world series. But i still wanted to happen. I think it's what you have if it happens coming up in two thousand twenty one. I'm really happy it didn't happen. Twenty twenty because that would have fake it would fell fake so If if it happens. I hope it's played at dodger stadium and at yankee stadium and there can be at least twenty thousand people there and it can feel real. Even if i'm not there. I can feel watching tv. I can feel some juice. I felt no juice in the postseason last year. And you scott that That wasn't enough for you. The the the the gnome. Because i know. I know it's fake. I i liked forgot. I forgot about it at times. I i'm not gonna lie like a thomson like oh yeah. It does sound like stadium. Sounds sounds pretty real until you see a foul ball and like the fake. The fake the fake like excitement is what got me dependent on the play like. That's where you lost. Me is the fake excitement or the fake upset. You upset -ness of a of a stadium like that. They did not do other. Dj was off at that point. The hum- like the the beat was alright. The but but then when like when they dropped to the To to win any action happened. It was it lost me. It's like when you catch a it's like when you catch a singer lip synching. Yeah moment. Looks real feels real. Sounds real. Nope so it's I thought baseball got hurt from a tv perspective more than any other sport because football basketball and hockey were able to hide they were basically. Just you're disabled of focus on the field itself and you kind of take the crowd out of it but baseball. The stands are integral part of almost every every pitch. Because you see it behind the and then anytime a balls hit you see you see the backdrop. Yeah so from a visual standpoint. You're reminded almost every minute that there's no one there whereas football you going entire quarter and you never see the stands in the you never think twice about it sure. Yeah no i agree. I think it's it's different animal. I'm all when you look at what happened last year. All sports were affected Based on the viewership numbers so everybody was down. There was a reason people weren't going there. It felt different for all of them. You know looking And watching it there just wasn't the same buying for fans i think you know. I think a lot of the casual fans fell off. And that's that's where you see the numbers dipping. So he's going to change this. You think that's going to come back. I think it'll be bumped up for sure. I think i think last year. Even if it's similar circumstances the fact that last year happened and we all went through it to me will just make things a little bit more normal. It's not going to be as new. Obviously and people will get back to. I think people are yearning really really really yearning to get back to routines normal routines not not fake twenty twenty routines but like actual routines that they enjoy or or things that are that feel like normal life. So yeah. I think the That level of of yearning for normalcy is is very strong right now. Bauer was the last big shoe to drop. But they're still ton of unsigned free agents out there and and guys that are some are at the end of their careers. Some i think could still definitely contribute. But some i think could be had for pretty cheap Some names like mitch. Moreland marwin gonzalez jonathan vr. Justin justin turner. I know is been talking with the dodgers. I don't know he's not going to be cheap either yet. Brett gardner obviously jackie bradley. Jr. josh radic. Yadi is on the list. But i think did he end up signing with back with the cardinals. I saw a report that they're very close on a on a deal to bring him back even if he has an just assume it's going to happen. there's some rotation options like jayco rizzi. James paxton towel walker richhill. Unable sanchez. i find the most interesting list to be the bullpen. Because i think some of these guys could be had for under the yankees luxury tax N guys that. I think could contribute. Trevor rosenthal mark mellon. Shane green Justin wilson all. Those guys are ex yankees brezler in the band. Back brandon kit. Like some of these pitchers do you. Don't you think it would be worth it for a couple of million bucks to add. Another veteran bullpen option. Yeah i think it's possible that they do that. I think they're going to wait and see how the guy shake out a little bit. I also a name on here. That's like relatively interesting. His splits is a a nick marquess who could platoon in an apple but again a lefty bat of looking at splits from last year and he actually did worse against a random pitching then. He did lefthanded pitching. but again. kinda throwing that. You're in some cases. I went back and looked at twenty nine hundred out when it's convenient when i when i want it to be something different. I look back at two thousand nineteen which the full season and i know. It's hard to. It's hard to go back on. Guys like marquess just because he's getting older and older every year so it's it doesn't mean as much when you start looking back At at full years because he's still a year older and you never know when that cliff is going to happen has happened so but if you look at two thousand nineteen hundred numbers. Marcus certainly gave you the the splits that you'd expect Was a lot stronger against a random pitching which i still believe is something that the yankees could could could use especially towards the end of the season so if a guy like marquess like the guy would not surprise me midseason trade deadline timeframe and around that area like he was still there adding a guy like that about like that would not surprise me for the yankees getting into the postseason..

Trevor bauer Trevor rosenthal seven years Brett gardner Marcus Justin justin turner trevor bauer last year five seasons Justin wilson two teams two thousand josh radic Yadi marquess twice two thousand nineteen hundred Shane green two mitch

"That's not our problem and the optics. Don't look great for instance if you ought to. You're molina and adam wainwright don't end up back as cardinals and say that they want to do that. Speculation on my part. But you know. I understand wanting to be responsible about the payroll and wanting to do whatever you can for the health of your business and the employees that work for you but you know there could be a crossroads here where Maybe even the most loyal fans start to become a bit alienated. Is that fair. Do you think yeah. And i mean i kind of my premise. I would. I worry about that if i was at obt moaner and it's certainly not just the cardinals you know. It's it's almost not everyone. Outside of the padres and mets right now and maybe the whites. No one's like doing well in is of their fan base and i or the players right. Yep true i think it. I think this is going to get ugly going back to when the season might start of. You've heard andrew miller say we're going to be there on time and then you've had these reports of mlb sending memos that players are not allowed at spring training camps. Until they say it's it's clear to be there. I think it's clear that. Mlb owners don't want the season to start until fans can be at the stadiums. And i think it's clear that mlb players are not willing to take to consider anymore pro rated salad one hundred sixty two game checks. Yup yup and i don't blame either side really but i think it'll be owners might frame. This is a health health concern. And i really think it's just a financial concern they. They lost a lot of money. I believe it. They lost a lot of money having a sixty game mostly fan loose season and then into the into the postseason. But i i don't know i i think it's gonna get ugly people kind of forget how ugly. It was back in.

"Put out a statement through asian last night talking about that. He's he's gonna go on youtube and talk about the structure that he's looking at the teams that he's talking to. I'm tired of him tired of him yet. I'm tired of him. I've ignored a lot of it. So it's it's not bothering yet. But look he's he's going out with these. Psa's topping the different things trying to attack free agency and you see chirping on twitter the other day. He's tripping everybody he stripping everybody so it's just i think that when they're trying to there's a buzz that look they know that. Nobody's nothing's happening agency right now. So they have an opportunity to stand out in a market that doesn't exist yet and they're doing that and and he's doing it too exactly what he has been doing for a long time in the social media. This is what he's good at so he's an antagonistic. He's he's he's doing this on purpose and he's you're letting him win by him bothering you. I hate trevor bauer. Now yankee sign. If the yankee side him. I will like him for his start. Days i will. I will root for. Trevor bauer. And i will be one hundred percent behind. Trevor bauer on the days that he starts but then the next day and the four days in between. I will go back to hating him. Because that's how much of a unlikable person he is. I mean that might change demo because he says a couple of different things that that tweak your Your your yankee fan number. Oh okay all right. Now he's now he's now he's now he's one of our guys and i have no problem with speaking out. I have no problem with that. Especially because he can back it up on the field with his performance but what he's doing. This offseason his troll. He has gone past chirping. He is now just. Trolling always been a troll. He's been a troll forever. that's what he does. This is what he these are. I don't. I don't like trolls fine. But dat still had to pay the troll toll. They had the opportunity to increase. And bolster the rotation at the top. Not not in the middle. The middle is secured right now. Tom not even in the middle. That's like a four fine middle middle bottom. Whatever like that's not where you need to improve right now. Where we need to approve is the top the top. That's what's going to get next okay. If david garcia and kark schmidt turned the corner and become a lot more consistent and steady and they become a. If david garcia becomes what what he has you know what. He showed a a brief spurt last year great. That's huge but you can't bank on that. That's that's what's that's what's so good about having him and the guy like clark schmidt and you know again Looking at baseball only available herrmann. Montgomery those guys at the bottom have the ability to spike and be something much higher than what we think and what their expectations would be in a four or five spots so go get somebody. Who's at least a solid three. A two three like. That's where you should be going if you break down this rotation that he names t to realistic. Not best case. Scenario not worse case scenario realistic for two thousand twenty one garrett cole ace. We know that tanaka. What does he realistically in. Two thousand twenty one. A third member is going to say number four. Because he's gotten to the point where he can't he gets tired after seventy six pitches or whatever the hell it was. I mean this is. What tanakh is i think. The conversation about number three starter number. Four starter is just different right now. And there's not much of a gap okay fine but he's no longer a go out there and shove as a number two pitcher in the postseason. We agree no. He's definitely he doesn't shove he didn't shove anything no he he he. He gets gassed at seventy six pitch and asked to come out of game. Yeah taiwan walker. Also a middle toback of the rotation guy demingo. Her on i think is a middle tobacco. The rotation guy. He has not pitched in a full season and even the last time we saw him pitching in the second half of twenty eight twenty nineteen. He was mediocre to bad. It was also the most innings pitched from what i remember to to to date in his career so that the drop off is not something of the norm. When you look at a guy who's worked longer and theoretically harder than he ever has in his career. So i i think you're under serving his upside. I think his upside is definitely higher than that. Okay jordan montgomery. I think has probably the most upside for twenty twenty one out of any of these names Possibly yeah i of all of the names. But i think i think are has he has the talent and he's shown that he has the upside to me so he okay maybe not upsides the right word i think jordan montgomery will have the best season of those names listed there other than garrett cole and you're not you're not including severino because you're him gonna be there later. He's going to be working back from. Tommy john surgery not counting on severino to really be that much of a contributing to the rotation that andrew andrew offered here is no different than what we don't we have and then you throw a jag. Just my point. That's my point. He's got a lot of names here that if they all work out we'll of course than it's great but the chances of them all working out is slim to none and taiwan walker is not going to change. I won't want here's five yard and a one three seven shara. It's that that is not believable. He's a suck he's a guy that's what he has. Clark schmidt is intriguing. Certainly but he did. Not he is essentially starting completely entering. Mlb his will be debut and the mlb next year. He did not really get his feet. Wet and twenty twenty. Well i mean we can say that easily because it didn't didn't succeed if he came in those spots and did well then what anything six innings yet he didn't. He came in at the end and was not. He was definitely held back a little bit. And whether that's four development or control or whatever they're trying to do he six and a third innings. That's this not anything and it was a relief. Most overleaf yeah. He didn't see it open game. I know but it might have been an open okay. So he did start one game. I think it was an opening situation. He pitched in three games six. And a third innings. I'm sorry that's he's he's completely entering a new territory next year as as as mlb. Six hundred also contributed by lack of performance of good performances. Well debbie garcia on the other hand. He got decent experience started number of games. He was the game..

Trevor bauer david garcia garrett cole kark schmidt jordan montgomery clark schmidt severino Psa mlb herrmann youtube twitter tanaka taiwan Montgomery walker andrew andrew Tom
