"Hope you guys enjoyed the conversation with Joe MiG. I did. I think one of the really neat things about getting to do a show like this is is having these conversations with people literally over the course of years and seeing the growth in their career in their life and their perspective and that stuff because I was thinking about that just in relation to getting older here, I'm trying to be a little more responsible and doing retirement planning and all this kind of stuff, right? I talk to people who are a little bit older who have been more active in that stuff and it's interesting to remember kind of where they were ten, 20, 30 years ago and how it built and how it happens. And you know I used to think when you're younger, you know, I used to think that like a career is like extremely well plotted out, right? Like you just, this is what I want to do and this is how I'm going to do it and it's it's just not the case a lot of the time. Sometimes it is for some people. I feel like some people have linear points of I'm going to finish college. I'm going to go to law school. I'm going to become a lawyer, I'm going to do that for 20 years and then I'm going to retire. And there's some people that do that. There's other people like my sister went to law school. I went to law school. I dropped out. She actually went and finished. But I guess maybe I have a good example of that, right? I thought I was gonna go to law school and become a lawyer and be a hotshot businessman and all this kind of stuff. And, you know, I'm not. But my sister went to law school, graduated past the bar, had a job all that stuff, and then found a passion in working and helping people, you know, through, you know, through being helped herself and now she does, you know, it's like business coaching and she does energy work. She does all this stuff. She's built this successful business. But it's so not the path she was on, right? Life took her to this other side. And I think that's the case with a lot of people in racing and just in life in general. You know, you obviously have goals and dreams or maybe a certain direction, but the world takes you places and it sends you places. And you know, I'm sure if you ask Joseph three years ago or 5 years ago, like, oh, is he gonna be a bloodstock agent at a jockey agent? He might have told you like yeah, I would love to, but maybe he wouldn't have. And, you know, if he had told me when I was 22, I'd be a podcaster and a horse racing announcer. I would have thought you were insane because I didn't have either. First of all, we didn't know what podcasting was back in 2002. But I would have never told you I would have been able to call a race and things happen and then little little things happen along the way that kind of put you on that path. It's a really neat part of doing this show for me is to kind of get to see that happen, you know, as we've gone, like norm Cassie, when we first started having Norman, he was an assistant for his dad. Now he's a graded stakes winning. I think multiple grade stakes winning trainer on his own and you know we're gonna hopefully as long as we get to keep doing the show and norm keeps training. We'll have Norman next year in 5 years from now who knows? It might be a Triple Crown winning trainer at that point. He might not even be a trainer at all at that point. Maybe he'll decide to take up acting and star in movies. Like he just never don't. And to me, that's such a great part of life. Like I think we all, you know, we just think that there's this linear path and it's just not. The road is the road is often windy and I think that's what makes the road more interesting, right? Like guy like Trevor McCarthy would it be great if he went right to New York the first time and just had amazing success and was, you know, a millionaire and winning huge graded races and all this stuff. Yeah, it'd be awesome. But I'm sure that the trials and tribulations of, you know, kind of go in there once doing pretty good and going to California and trying all these things and that grind and that eventual breakthrough. I think it's just going to make it that much sweeter when he really finds that success at the top level. And I don't doubt that he will. I've always, like I said, I got to see it colonial. What he's capable of when he's riding good horses every race and you know with jocks, that's so much of it, right? You just have to have the right horses. You can make good decisions all day long. But you know if you have horses that are gonna win 8% of the time at best, you're gonna win 8% of the time. Maybe 10%, so. But which Trevor and Joseph all the luck in the world and their new venture and appreciate your coming up. As a mention, we'll have another very successful writer Daniel centeno going to join the show tomorrow looking forward to that and looking forward to talking with you guys again tomorrow. I hope you guys all have a good rest of your Tuesday and I will see you back then..

Tom pick out really looks like he was born to ride. A bike and fat has written a bike almost from day one in his in his life but then on the other hand he's he's had the benefit of this fantastic range as far as cycling's concerned with cyclocross mountain biking on roads cycling and he's really had the best of all worlds in that respect. I mean he's the perfect prototype for a cycling champion. Yeah i was thinking about the crossover between road and mountain biking. I mean it's something. We say every now and again when the olympics around know relatively few examples of someone excelling both dishes planes. I mean they all obviously very different Technically but bike handling is a fundamental when you're riding shoulder to shoulder in a bunch of two hundred As is when you're riding on a single trackable over rocks and you just look so natural on the mountain bike. He's a little guy. The mountain bikes with that big wheels. These days showing my expertise here. Everyone with the big wheels but he looks totally in control. Much like someone on the high wire the hands out on the white baas balancing on the top of the bike but totally in command of what he's doing But when you look back at. "Pretty good assurance well they be play well together. Yeah there is no doubt about it but you know who else play. Well together steph. Auburn and kevin garnett but sometimes playing well together enough to keep young talent together and when you consider how lonzo left or basically was shown the door and yet he's been able to maintain what appears leads on the outside a very good relationship with lebron james h i may add At least in terms of the public eye isn't normal. Like normal is andrew wiggins right trade away. Don what you ain't got time for your moving on blah blah business like these maintain a relationship and i think part of the reason why the relationship able to maintain because bron wasn't making it up when he said that zoe was awesome right that he he earnestly believe that and because of that there's a respect that he has for him as a ball player and i gotta believe that that little kernel right. There is an indication of whether or not the franchise as well as oh might both be open to a return. I gotta think. I gotta think that zo would definitely be interested in a return. I mean this is where he's from. This is where he got his start as where he played college ball. This is where he failed. This is where he would like to succeed. I mean i would think for the player. It's an absolute no brainer. Wrong i mean. Do you not think it's like an automatic for him that he would want to come back and play for the lakers. Yeah i think he would but let me tell you more on the other side. Let's do that. And i also want to get into some situation. The situation is going on with why and speaking of situations all man. If you thought the popeye's chicken sandwich was going to be a hot ticket item way to you. Hear what's next for you. Foodies out there okay. Got pre rose. There was no no. No no. But i got some. That could help you once. You get the munchies part. So we'll get to that in a couple of seconds as well. It was jam. We're happened man. I mean we're thirty. We need a sixty sixty actuary. Yeah i mean. There's a lot going on there with john you say like you know. I never thought we'd get another famous job. Thankfully mirant came around. You know man. There's always space for a job. Yeah i mean you can go back to a bob marley. His own said jar. That's fair that's fair did you. Gyro is only forty five years old man so he started when he was like sixteen. Leave feels like that. He was so young. Burder right is crazy cash money. Click nineteen ninety four ninety five man so he was yeah. he's a baby. Yeah nothing i mean. he's crazy. He was a big deal there already. And then the solo career started right after the voice. Man yeah you know. It's like his voice. yeah Chuck d d arrested. Rents exactly man certain voices man. It almost doesn't matter what they say. Onyx member of the group. I do remember onyx. Saw about the voice so it is all about the voice. But it's all about the taste when it comes to food and okay remember. People went wild when popeye's chicken sandwich. And even i who don't like to ever be in line said one day all right what the with it. I will go to the one in close by and i will wait in line. It wasn't too bad. It was thirty minutes taking your life in your hands. At that point it was only thirty minutes in the drive through. It wasn't serious. People were nuts about these sandwiches. Yeah so they are coming out next with something that they had not had on the on the menu an item known as chicken nuggets. Somehow what out you outta. Popeye's chicken nuggets amount chicken nuggets buryat. Why white meat. I see it. They cut it. I mean you know my husband. I'm not afraid of white meat. Problem is is that is just small. Tenders tenders man. That's whereas at does public tenders so what. I got to mess around with nuggets. Well maybe for the kids. You know what i mean. It's my son's twenty four. He wasn't does not your kids people's kids the kids to think about it. Donald knowing one no kids coming in my popeye's spot with their foolishness. 'cause mig mcdonald's olds the kids. You know what. I'm saying like mcdonald's. Keep the kids. Because you know what's going to happen next. They're gonna start putting sugar and black beans and rice for the kids you say. Are you telling me that. Popeye's is taking their chicken sandwich and turning the sandwich or the chicken part of the sandwich. They're turning that into nuggets the exact same recipe the exact same taste so it's not like i ordered salmon now i got nuggets same really smaller smaller packaging yes now when is smaller packaging ever.

It's really a very very short picture. After ten years of conflict over half the population are now displaced. Many of the cities are in. Rebel is a staggering twelve point. Four million syrians are food. Insecure international aid and assistance is being denied because the borders are being closed. There's only one crossing left to bring outside aid into syria. Necessarily do it through the rascasse. "We are going to discuss the situation in Libya so a few weeks ago, we had written about the one thousand Russian mercenaries that had arrived in country there, and the presence. Presence of unmarked MiG fighters, so I wanted to have Tony. Maybe you can set the stage for us. It's a very complicated battlespace that is emerging there with alliances that are very fluid, and what is really become a showcase or a testbed for a war of the future. So why don't you set up the security situation for us? And then we'll dig in and and talk about how the aircraft there are being used. Vive semis up. Pretty Fatty. That Jen. This harks back to the Arab spring, and the and the impact of that event across the Middle East and North Africa and also the fall of Colonel Gadhafi, and since then we've had this. On and off civil war, but now sort of developed into essentially two major sides who got the Libyan national? Army controlled by lethal halftime who made significant gains from his base in Benghazi sweeping across the country, and then we have the government of National Accord, which is a U N backed government which which? Controls Tripoli for a long time. Half ta basic swept across, took control of most of the oilfields on a much control of Libya, but then in recent months we've seen a resurgence of the genie's power, mainly, because it's backed by Turkish took a lot of effort into this campaign, and they've been fighting back, and we've seen sort of the GNA taking control of fields and towns across the area so particularly in the western half of the country the Libyan National Army Khalifa's army. has the backing of countries like the United. I M, Ritz Egypt and of course strain Russia, so it was sort of seeing this strange war. Complicated woman different sides. Some countries are undecided about which side to take. Which side is going to win. It's caught up in cobweb of mercenary groups and. Now introducing high levels of technology we're seeing. UAV's being used these Russian aircraft advance, Ground Base, defense systems, and also mercenary troops, being used in different ways and being bought in from different parts of of the Middle East to come and fight there. It's just it's become a little bit like Syria, but not quite the haphazard situation that has developed the. Brandon. Where is the US in this equation? A good question. It's The the best answer right now is that it's complicated. ostensibly the US does support the GNA because that is the internationally recognized UN backed. Government but It's important to remember that general huff. Tar is a creature of the United States in a sense He did spend eighteen years here in northern Virginia It said that he was working with the federal government for most of that time, if not all of that time and improving their understanding of events in North Africa during the latter years of the Gadhafi regime. So you know there have been a formal discussions between president. President, trump and half tar. They've actually spoken to one another there has there has been some limited at least diplomatic cooperation, but the US has stopped short of endorsing the as legitimate governments over the DNA so one more way Tony kind of had alluded to it a to it already one more way in which this is at all levels diplomatic, military, strategic, a very very fluid, dynamic, strange, complicated situation. That's unfolding there in Libya. Let's talk a little bit about the MiGs. We started to see satellite imagery of Russian aircraft landing on an airbase Dan. Can you bring us up to speed and give some detail about how they arrived in what happened to them after they came in? Yeah, so this is a the great. The great mystery of the conflict right now so in mid May satellite imagery showed that a MiG twenty nine had appeared at L. Giuffra. Airbase in central Libya and anyone that has access to the Internet can quickly find out. That Libya doesn't have MiG twenty nine fulcrum. So, where did this come from remarkably? Remarkably there had been some which essentially called rent a rumor intelligence, and the previous day's out MiG twenty nine, transiting from Russia to Syria, and then they just of stopped, and then a couple of days later. Oh, there it is! There's the MiG twenty nine in Libya and so people have been trying to piece I back, you know. Where did these come from? Who supplied them? And eventually on Africans in the US confirmed that they were rushing that they came from Russia, they flew through Iran and Syria and onwards syllabi. They went it. Was You know they say fourteen MiG twenty nine s you twenty fours. The mixture that is up for debate. There's been at least six twenty nine seen in Syria at the same time there was allegedly transiting. Their markings are painted over so these. Are you know I'm I'm going to be the first one to steal fray. Sorry guys the. Little Green jets. I got there first. So these. Are you know? Plausible deniability, whose are they really you know the most likely operated by Russians some people say that they're Belarusian. But they're almost certainly not. Unless secret training program kicks a long time to train foale. Gen fighter. These are not pilots in there. Almost certainly not Arab pilots in general. They were meant to tip the balance, but we haven't really seen them in action much so far. So what have you seen with them? Since and I understand, there are also some issue twenty fours in the region. Yeah so Brennan and I were talking about this. There's only been one confirmed action. They were used they hit a GNA convoy. Just recently that was transiting. Run the Oil Crescent, but mostly they seem to be kind of flying over top of their their bases, and they're just being held in reserve, almost a most satellite imagery of a Alqadi. That has the twenty fours in shelters. They haven't left. They arrived. They went into the shelters and everytime. Imagery passes over there, so they're not seeing not gone flying mission they just it was like a morale boost, and then they've stopped because I'm assuming losing one of the so soon into the conflict would probably be a PR move than when they arrived.

The Future of 5G with Paul Scanlan CTO Huawei Carrier Business Group

"Welcome Paul thanks very much under now. I've just been very fortunate to sit around a round table with a bunch of influences. And you're quite candid about you know the challenges that you face in the industry but this podcast is about the future of and I wanted to talk about the future of Five G. Sofa my listeners out there that may be in markets where five gs and live or just been launch. How WOULD YOU DESCRIBE FIVE G? And why's it better than four g you know Andrew it's This is probably the most misunderstood technology. It's been bandied around as being everything from the you know the evil of the world to To the savior of the world right and I think the answer probably leaning towards the latter. Which is you know. It's something that really will transfer so I like to think of I five as a platform for transformation. Went talk about it as a speed thing or this thing or that thing. I'll just terrific platform for transformation. Everybody says you know five G. It's faster it's this that and everything else when we talk about them. Do you operate four G. And how do you operate five G? When we operate forgery generally we designed it for this thing called twenty megahertz of spectrum because in three G it was five Megahertz Chunks of spectrum. And therefore more megahertz means you get more spectrum. Generally you get more bang for your buck when we talk about five Jay. We're talking with starting with one. Hundred doesn't mean account. Wigan Eighty or seventy six fifty or ten yep but it was originally thought of. Let's try it for for for one hundred MiG. One hundred twenty two one mistake now. Of course you've got the up link in the downlink say have maybe it's about two or three to one put it in called a spider spider. So you have about two times or three times more spectrum so you're really not comparing for and five Jay in like for like we learnt Andrew many years ago five years ago in doing you think Oh. Wtt X. Wireless to the something. We learnt that we could provide wireless communication as a sort of an alternative center. A Better Time. To market than fiber by deploying wireless buys technologies to provide home-based broadband solutions. Because you build an anti put an antenna and you can sell it so cash and carry you. Get Five Mega. Hit megabits per second team. Maybe one hundred right now. This fixed product is competing with the mobile product. The second one is the bane with these not there so you don't really have enough resources but we learned very quickly that if we were able to put more antennas in we call the massive. Mimo. Then you end up with a better better result. Suddenly you can offer not three hundred customers. Ten makes you could offer three thousand customers teen makes and the more customers more Abu more money simple. It's all about money so now comes five G. so five G. The first thing we do so we've already got some empirical evidence about how much more efficient having one hundred megahertz of spectrum is in this. Wimax area. We're using two point. Three two point five. We've picked a different spectrum. Three point five GIG which means three point two to three point. Six three point eight. Maybe four point two to four point six just relishes the higher the frequency the more efficient it can be she can get more bandwidth through the high frequencies. Would you get you get larger amount of contiguous ECKSTROM? Yes and understand a little bit about how breaking spectrum up into blocks become very inefficient but if you have a big block of spectrum absolutely right and that's why the millimeter wave even higher stuff is even far more beneficial because you have a clear one gigahertz and suddenly war instead of five megs of got one GIG. Simple physics tells you you're GonNa get more bang for your buck. Yeah so five. G. Comes along with starting the premises. One Hundred Megahertz Huge leap ahead of four G and we've got these improvements inefficiencies. So that's what Linda lend lend itself to the high throughput but wait. There's more right and the more big comes to about things like lighten city and massive connections. So we could already see that the challenge is always the always the latency at the air interface and the reason for that is because you could imagine from a base station probably in developed countries. You can have five back to the cornet work for the back to the corner. Work five milliseconds into into the top rate Japan. Top to bottom ten roughly these sort of rough guidances of how how much delay you have across these areas. But if you want to do things that are more interesting like connected car. You don't need five Jay for car but You know if you want autonomous driving. It's one of the options. Yes you could use other methods. But that's not the the most important but if you take a robot right if you've ever shook the hand of a of a rebel with articulated digits but the first thing is if you want one hundred kilos of metalwork comes toward you put something out the first step back of course when you put your hand out and you grab it if the latency is not really shop. Then by the time it gets feedback in squeezing your hand it's probably to light my crusher hand. You got it so we need latency so there's a practical example. Yes but you have more certainly connected car within a couple of meters. The shorter duration robotics interaction. Let's talk about the medical profession if you wanted to do telemedicine remote medicine. Yes so between a practitioner. Highly capable person. Let's take a simple like it's not really simple. Let's take ultra ultrasounds. So you have an expert a technician. The journey woman sitting there with a couple of hundred grants with equipment. What about the village? That's you know two hundred dollars or three hundred kilometers wide. So we just discussed about this thing called latency. What about if I wanted this person to do some remote monitoring of a man or a woman or somebody on the on the I and we've got these tactile feedback devices now? Yes but the person is a couple of hundred Roy. So you imagine. There's a basic person. Triage a stripping. His thing to your body for a couple of thousand dollars which is cost effective. And you got the expert with brain paranoid analytics copy with scopes and everything and now. He presses and two hundred kilometers lighter. It's pressing on you. And then by the time he gets the feedback. He's got to realize that I shouldn't push too far because it's the robot prom you don't want to crush the got it so this this problem. So this is lighten savings on. He's a couple of industries and a couple of sectors that where you can feel that latency. We important robots inside the factory today factory in factories. Andrew haven't changed in one hundred fifty years. Everything is serial from the day we industrialized in the UK. Right I give you the material you do your bit. You Pass it to him. He passes it to her. She personally what happens today? Robotic PLANT ROAD. I does this positive robot. By-pass Robert C. So let's suppose this boardroom. Were nail which vacant and a couple of hours is the Knicks factory from twelve six income the robots willing themselves around connected with five G. They're from different companies. Kawasaki. Ibb ETC. And they're all connected to the cloud by five. G. So the latency is really small. And of course if you take beyond this. This is not thing of few connections to multiple connections per person to devices everywhere. Lamppost ties dresses salt pepper. Shakers everything the cup of tea bags or connected and they will be. You might think it's stupid but you know today it'll get down to something you know a third the size you now. Then everything's connected. If you have that competition of connectivity things in a cell a mobile cell with people you have come back to the first. Problem fixed wireless existing and with mobile paging competing for resources. And it's signaling resources. Yeah and you won't have a few thousand people per sale. You might have hundreds of thousands but the thing with it is. You don't need the speed because some of these things are transmit low data rate but if you've got millions of them in the same spot they all want to compete for radio spectrum to say. Hey I want you to get your data you got it and so you're quite right after that. The data rates are pretty small and listen to a couple of K. kilobytes. But you have a lot of them and it's a signal you know. I've got to wake up not communicate to the end so it's a bit like ceiling overhead traffic. It's it's competing for this. Some of the data so there's a lot of optimization bottomline so affected that in so that's why you have speed latency and throughput as the three key components of five G. But what nobody ever talks about is the social impact five g. and the social impact directly about energy. So you know. Today we're at the product and solution launch of lawyer and we announced that we have a five G. product. That is now. It went one year ago. Forty kilos to twenty five. From two hundred Megahertz bandwith to four hundred megahertz bandwidth but also consumes about the same amount of energy as four J. site. So you've just gone for something that's twenty to one hundred times better for the same amount of energy so some of the analysis that's been boy very specifically by a company called steel partners a consulting company here in the UK. And they've done some analysis based on you know while always products in an older competitor's products looking at all the networks around the world and their energy consumption and a very simple tagline is if you keep building four g networks you double the carbon footprint the planet but if he's five g. It flattens out and it starts to reduce in five years. That's not a bad reason for deploying five G. above the other I think you're great storytellers. It'll just had the opportunity to spend an hour and a half in the room and you. You mentioned the point about your station equipment. Going down in White told a great story about why wife now people know about while we for all different reasons but I love the story about how the thing dropped in. Share that story so I was at a meeting in headquarters and the CEO is sitting at a table with with a number of US including the product and they director in the product. Our Day director was showing the new version of the first five G. Base station that we're going to be launching in a few months and the white was forty five kilos Andrea and he said left on the table. What do you mean forty five kilos? Don't you understand occupational all health and Safety in Europe? It's forty kilos. Everybody looked at him. What does that mean and he said you need a crane. If you need a crane to install this. Do you know how expensive it'll be for our customers? They want. And how the time delay plus the expense and everything. Everything's the wrong wrong targets. You know the capital equipment costs too high. Three months later are endangered. Came back in forty kilos right. Thank you very much forty kilos. We launched now with twenty five kilos and he just on stage and said. Do you know why it's twenty kilos because a person is allowed to carry a twenty kilo product and install it and you know so we're always thinking about how do we improve person the customer's business. It's not about. We've got a great product you want to buy it or you buy this product because it's got these features we're always thinking about from the customer's perspective and generally everybody has the same. Kpi therefore KPI's it's called Revenue Prophet brand market share. You want all of those things. That's what you want right. That's the key metrics so we always think about those components whenever we building products or solutions or focusing on customers. And things like

The other movies in the book like the crazier movies are dated a lot of ways that are either charming or shocking. So I appreciate. The breakfast club talk about a movie that will stand the test time, because we all can relate to detention. At least I can't. And weekend detention. And he was the biggest door. Then if he can't make dreamy that is funny, that evolution of Patrick Dempsey. Yeah. Who is it a movie Pete, and I were talking about earlier heaven, help us. I love haven't helpless. You have that in the book I went out and bought the soundtrack, because I loved it so much. That's what's great about these movies, these teen movies. They have great soundtracks, the soundtracks killer. Soundtracks, then made it to the radio airwaves which a lot of time. I mean, I guess that's still TV Tien video that was only oh, that's right. "How'd you feel about it, sir? Right. Give me some adventures of rats. You know, destroying planets and shit that would have been okay. I don't see the reason. And now, we all know that I guess Broglie Vidar the same ages and Goku five years younger. I don't know what that was thrown in there too. You know, so, but, but yeah, those pretty much my thing on it to answer your question fully, though. I don't think they did it purposely. But I don't think they were dumb about it. When they did do it does that they weren't up Libya's to. Thank you. Thank you. So let's go ahead and see if I can answer one of Ryan Walters. Emails this time. So let's go ahead and look at this. Hey guys for once. Here's an anime related Email, a very serious one miles. Have you heard about the allegations of regarding Vic, and what are your thoughts on it? Sorry. This is a more serious post. Also before you read the above post up too late. Here's his response to all this might be enough to make a segment to post on YouTube. I need everything to stop. What who was the subject of this? What happened? What did I miss? I have no idea dude that the allegations regarding Vic MiG Naga. Let me just quickly open this out real quickly open it up. I do know this. But I don't know what I'm talking far from perfect fans recount on wanted affection from voice actor Vic MC Naga did hear about this. Okay. So do you wanna give me some context here Christian because I don't know we saw not much right? It's just like some metoo sheds like I was a little Hansie and creepy write articles there. I would be remiss if I try to talk about something. I don't know. Maybe you should just try to talk about it. Is it say there while I mean, I'm not I'm just looking at him guessing to be to Hansie touchy with some fans. Yeah. This is indicative just the larger problem, which is like I go to a lot of cons and stuff. And like I have a comic. And this is going to be a thing that I have to do. But you see it. Sometimes it's really disgusting. Which is like you have a position of privilege and a position of power over. People people admire your work, the poor fans of yours. And like there's some weird like in the same way, the Hippocratic oath between doctors and nursing. I'm saying there's still weird oath that you should be fucking with or taking advantage of or I don't know is this really creepy to me, man. And I don't know how much more than to be said about. It's be honest. It's just like I don't touch people almost like fucking tell you to like, it's not really that hard to mean. But I don't know any thoughts on this. You have a sister Mansi. That's the thing. I don't have a little freak the fuck out by the I here's the thing. I think there's a point when you read some sort of a like a celebrity status so to speak, whether it's being a voice actor or being voice actor in video game. Roll or just anything in general. I think there's a sense of responsibility that you kinda have to uphold and take within yourself because there's people who adore you. And that appreciate your work. Whatever work you're doing whatever field you you do it in. And I don't know. This is my my my one set perspective from just being DJ for ten years. Why do you have to be a creep when sometimes it just you know, like it shouldn't be hard for you to get with someone. So you shouldn't be going around and just having that mentality that you have the Midas, touch, and you can like, you know. Woo anyone over because that's fucking really discussing and serving you know. So there's my take on that. I don't know why. But maybe they just want us kind of see were the grea goes, right? Okay. Don, let me jump in here. This is much much worse than I thought. So apparently like there's a couple of allegations. But it's not just about inappropriate touching got legendary he talks kitted a woman brought her up to his room raped her which is a horrific on an and then she was called a consulate. So, you know, I'm sure there are consulates by..

As you take a look back and could rewrite dotcom secrets or rewrite expert secrets are the logical steps that you would go back and put in are the things that how would you change it? What would you do different? And then same type of thing when we start taking a look at stories, and and presenting things what are some of the main things that we need to make sure any our listeners get get right away. And it was fascinating. We've been talking. You've got off the phone yesterday with grand Cardona, we're it was a fifteen minute little preview. Call and Kim my office. It was fascinating. We sat there and talked about. One of the things Russell is. Just amazing that is he sends his body language. Extremely well. I mean, he just he has this like this tuning fork. It's kind of like tuning four key has literally he will he can feel energy through a screen. And it's always fascinating for me. Is I watch him. And I sit there, and I I just kind of see what he's what are the QC's picking up on and say, you know, David one of the things for me that was so intriguing was you'll grant listen to all these things and we've got a good relationship grant, we talk and talk and talk but grant as well as his listeners what they really picked up on was when I started telling a story about Jamie cross. And now Jimmy crosses a member of our inner circle are to common club award winners. She's got an amazing company called MiG soap if you don't. She's I mean, just all natural soaps, absolutely love or soaps. It was fascinating. He started telling the story about her. That's when people really. It just changed. You can feel the energy on the call change. And. We've been just sitting there thinking just different things that what really matters. And we ended up giving away a Christmas gift to all of our employees. They were sweats custom click model sweats and on the back of it, basically says what we do matters. In. We're actually we were also I'm sorry, I'm rambling here. I'm trying to bring all this all this together for you. We had a partner meeting two weeks ago and part of meeting the one we're trying to kind of come up with more of a purpose of vision in something that actually would state what we do and liberate educate is are some of the things that we've really focused a ton on as far as the. Liberate with operation underground, railroad and educate with village impact. And so we've been trying to think different things we could do that would have that kind of an impact on other people as far as entrepreneurs. And what I've been fascinated to pay attention to as far as if you really look at the number one metric that matters, the very very most in your business and for us. It's our customer success. And I don't mean isn't a trite way or just like, oh,.

What the Dow coming close to a death cross means

"One of the most feared technical indicators rearing its head the tenure yield officially entering into the dreaded death cross. That's when the fifty day moving average falls below the two hundred eight moving average. So are we about to see a fallout in rates beakers? No, I don't think. So first of all the death cross. I yeah, I'm doing it. And I'm beating to death because it doesn't work if it works. None of us would be sitting here betrayed them. The death cross all day long. So number one. It does work number two. The fed has already told you they do not wanna flat yield curve. So if you think about the way that they're going to structure their balance sheet over twenty nine thousand nine they wanna steep, you'll Kurth they already told you that they want to do a thing called reverse operation twist where they end up buying these short end of the curve and selling out the long occurred yield curve steepening yields are going higher on the ten year. Well, except for that the fed I don't think controls the long end of the do what their balance sheet. Well, except for the fact that if the market is taking a long rates down as much as that might imply. No, you don't believe in in. Death cross the Fed's not going to be able to be as aggressive on their balancing as they wanna be. So it's a it's a reverse. Oh, so they sell off the long end. And they by the shore that and then you have US government, issuing tenure? You got a ton of supply on the ten year. That's if they're selling off their balance sheet. I mean the way I look at it as they can't be as aggressive in terms of. But they take whatever they sell off on the long end. They buy on the on the short. It's like upper it's reverse operation tryst rock. That's what it is. It's remember in the top gun when when maverick explains I was looking at the MiG. But he was inverted. That's what that whole thing. That was inverted. Pick your clothes for missiles on which into guns. Fantastic at any rate. I would say this in order for me in order for the yield club. Not to invert. They're going to have to lower rates in the front end. And then ain't happening because the back end I think continues to lower. So I think I'm in Tim's camp and think that the curve actually will invert and will happen soon following rates and potentially inverted yield curve. Just another headwind for financial CitiGroup. Shares though up after a rough year the big Bank now embracing activists value act capital, giving the firm more access to its books and board of directors the to entering into what it is called an information sharing and engagement agreement which will allow for deeper level of engagement and cooperation so what can make CitiGroup rally, what should value try and do in your view, in my opinion, cities got to come clean. I'm not suggesting they're not, but they got to come clean with every European exposure they have and put it out there for the market understand. Because I think the reason why CitiBank is trading below tangible book value is a concerns with what they have in Europe. And that's and that's stems. For me with all the problems at Deutsche Bank.
