"This team will work with city departments to review the plan and see where progress is already being made and where greater attention is needed. The plans will be funded in part with federal covid relief money. Governor Baker today addressing how the pandemic has changed the way we work, WBC's Carl Stevens reports. This future of work study from the state concludes that so much of the way we work has changed because of the pandemic that the state needs to respond to the changes. For example, Governor Baker talked about a geographic shift in the economy. Overall, the report concludes that the changing ways of working may shift what we think of as the center of gravity here in Massachusetts, away from the urban core and toward the rest of the state. His administration is proposing millions of dollars for workforce training.
