"A prayer for people who've messed up, written and read by Lynette kittle. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans, three 23. Have you ever really messed up in your life? Not something unimportant or easy to correct. But in a way, it can't easily be made right or fixed at all. Something that can't be erased, redone, or even forgotten. If so, it's a horrible and devastating feeling for most individuals. It's especially difficult for tender hearted people who bear the weight of it and are unable to carry the guilt. Coping with mess up, fallout may cause some to feel like they can't go on living. Unable to cope with daily life, with nothing making sense or mattering anymore. For those who don't understand, this strong reaction may seem too dramatic and over the top, but to those who have experienced devastating failures and sorrow, it may be greatly understated. Sadly, rather than offer comfort and compassion, some Christians often dull out plenty of scolding and condemnation to those who mess up. Something usually too heavy for a cast down soul to handle, along with their own tormenting emotions. For those who have an experienced messing up big time in their own lives, it may be hard to relate to others who are going through it. The count as a blessing there is no firsthand accounts to relive, and while counting, also ask Scott to give you a compassionate heart towards those who are living through it. Rather than looking down at others who fail, we want to remember that every human has the shared experience of being born a sinner, because all of us have sinned and fallen short when it comes to God's glory, Romans, three 23. Gratefully for those who know God, there is forgiveness, because if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive us our sins, and purify us from all unrighteousness. First John, one 9. As well, we don't have to stay and live in our mess ups. As the apostle Paul wrote, brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it, but one thing I do forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize, for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus, philippians, three 13. Paul understood God doesn't want us to linger and regret or live in past failures, but to trust him and move forward with Christ Jesus. People need to know that messing up big time in life doesn't have to ruin their lives. True it may take them in new and unexpected directions, but God has a way of leading people into more fulfilling, satisfying lives when they trust him for their future. Let's pray. Dear father, we confess that we have messed up in life. In aren't able to correct or change, the consequences of our actions. We ask you to forgive us and to help us today to move forward with you. Cleanse a lord and free us from the pain, sorrow, and regret. Help us lord to not dwell on our past failings, but to look forward towards our future with you. Thank you for being close to us in our brokenness. Mend our shattered hearts, father. We praise you for giving us beauty for ashes. The oil of joy instead of mourning, and the garment of praise instead of the spirit of despair. Reedus from this point on in our lives and let our hearts be willing to follow you and submit to your wife and directives in life. Help us to be sincerely grateful to you for your forgiveness, love, compassion,

"Although it's often hard for us to have hope, and believe we can depend on God, some 18 two assures us, the lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. My shield and the horn of my Salvation, my stronghold, even though the earth seems unstable, our hope is in God. As proverbs 1810 describes. The name of the lord is a fortified tower, the righteous run to it and are safe. Let's pray, dear father, today's world events and uncertainties bring waves of hopelessness into our daily lives. Help me to not look around at the situation and circumstances, but to look up where my help comes from. Caused me to fix my eyes upon you. Because you, O lord, are my refuge and my fortress. My God, in whom I trust. As well, dear father, strengthened me to put my hope in you and you alone. Not in past experiences, the government or the world. Thank you for sure me, that you will meet all my needs according to the riches of your glory in Christ Jesus. Help me to remember how your compassion never fail. Your mercies are new every morning towards me. And your faithfulness is great. Filmy O God of hope, with all joy and peace as I trust in you. Overflow me with hope by the power of your Holy Spirit. "A prayer for those who feel hopeless, written and read by Lynette kittle. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off, proverbs 23 18. Sadly, life can include disappointments, losses, and heartaches. Because it does, when they happen, it can cause a sense of hopelessness when they seem to affect what we thought was going to be our future. Overnight it can feel like we have no future, and all our hopes and dreams have been shattered. Without notice, catastrophic events shut down our daily lives, canceling and changing our plans. Tragedies like 9-1-1, and the national pandemic stopped transportation and public places in their tracks. Limiting our freedom to move freely upon the earth. For many hopelessness set in, as individuals were separated from friends and family. Confined to locations, prevented from traveling to their homes, not knowing when or if they would ever be reunited with loved ones. Businesses shut down without warning, with owners and staff having no hope of reopening or recovery. What people once thought was their future and security was suddenly closed indefinitely. Even doors to churches were closed and locked. Lately wars and rumors of wars fill our headlines. Along with natural disasters affecting our food sources, fuel supplies and mobility. Yet Jesus urged us in Matthew 24 6 to not be alarmed. Because life's uncertainties, seem on the increase, where can we find hope when what we've hoped for and plan seems to be passing away? As Christians, we can turn to God, who is unshakable, unmovable, and everlasting. In whom we can put our future hope and trust in without fear. Still in an ever changing world, it may be hard for us to wrap our heads around this truth. We've become conditioned to having the rug pulled out from us at a moment's notice. Yet with God, we can have confidence he is for us. Knowing he seeks to fulfill the desires of our hearts, proverbs 37 four, and to give us what we ask, Matthew 7 7 and need. Matthew 6 31 32, assures us of his care. So do not worry saying what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear? For the pagans who run after all these things, and your heavenly father knows that you need them. "A prayer for God to reach out through my words, written and read by Lynette kittle. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt so that you may know how to answer everyone, colossians four 6. Lately it seems I've been spending more time online or the phone with customer service people concerning orders or deliveries gone amiss. It can seem like a big waste of time to many. A chore that steals away our minutes, and hours from our days, chalked up as time consuming and frustrating experience for most. However, as Christians, we know the people on the other end of the line are chat, are real individuals like us, who have a soul and an eternal future, whether heaven or hell. So instead of saying negative, upsetting comments to them, we can choose a better option. A truth God doesn't want me to lose sight of a secret is how my influence has the ability to extend even to customer service representatives. So instead of my letting it feel like it's taking so much time to straighten things out. God's been showing me that it doesn't have to be a draining, negative experience. But rather an opportunity to reach out to individuals on the other end of my conversations. Yet it's still easy to underestimate how God can move and work in seemingly routine interactions with people we don't even know. It's wise to keep in mind how he is able to lead, guide, and connect us. With just the right people to talk to, in every situation, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem at the time. What might be just another thing we have to deal with could be a turning point in another person's life. Maybe not. But what if we just approach every opportunity as a possible life-changing interaction? Two dramatic, some may think, possibly, but isn't better to air on thinking it may be a God opportunity, rather than just a big waste of time. There are so many things we don't know about, the other person we're connecting and interacting with online, or on a call. Such as where they come from. What they've experienced in their life. Do they have people who love and care about them? Or even just father day began? These situations open the door for us to extend God's kindness, forgiveness, and compassion. Although some people believe the squeaky wheel gets results. Romans two four explains, or do you show contempt for the richest of its kindness forbearance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repentance. Let's pray. Dear father, thank you that you are not slow in keeping your promises to me, but patient. Not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. Because you are so patient with me, help me lord today and every day to be patient with those I speak to in various situations. Often conversations, I may find inconvenient and disruptive to my daily schedule. So father, please help me to be kind and compassionate to one another. Forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave me. I asked for your kindness, patience, and long suffering. To be present in my interactions with strangers, on the other end of conversations, rather than being cured and irritated. Help me, lord. To let the light you put within me, shine so brightly, they will see it and be led to glorify you in heaven. If people misunderstand or discount my words, or even respond rudely to me, please let your Holy Spirit lead and guide me in how to respond and what to say. I thank you because Luke 1212 assures me. For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say. Also father, open my eyes to not miss an opportunity to encourage a customer service person. Through my words and attitude, even offering to say a brief prayer with them if led by your spirit to do so. As a patient 6 18 urges and pray in the spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests, with this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the lord's people. Likewise, let me be open and ready to share your truth as second Timothy four to encourages. Preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season. Correct, rebuke, and

"All that most of us usually don't willingly invite suffering into our lives, becoming more like Jesus, usually involves suffering at some level. So if or when it comes, how do we respond? Even in suffering, we are called to trust God and seek to do his will. First, Peter, four 19 urges, so then those who suffer, according to God's will, should commit themselves to their faithful creator and continue to do good. Because God remembers those who are suffering, it's on his heart. As he cares for those in distress, he calls us to remember them too. As if we are right there, suffering with them. Although our suffering experiences may not compare to or be at the same depth or level as theirs, our hearts are kept softened. When we remember and pray, as God leads us, let's pray dear father, because there are so many in the world suffering today. We ask for your help in remembering them in thoughts and prayers. We thank you in praise you, dear lord. For never leaving or forsaking them. Especially in their distress. Offering each one your comfort and strength in their suffering. Our hearts are grateful for your faithfulness in nearness. To those who are afflicted and cast down, this holiday season, thank you for your presence with the countless individuals. Caught in the middle of wars, genocides, persecutions, imprisonment, and more. We ask for your divine protection over their hearts, minds, and bodies. Sending your word to heal and deliver them from destruction. And to relieve their suffering. By encouraging uplifting and refreshing their hearts. Lord help us to remember them. Let us willingly keep our hearts tender towards them and what they are going through. Although we may not understand the depth of someone suffering, let us be compassionate, caring, generous, and prayerful, towards them at this time of the year, and all year long. Father, move upon our hearts and minds. To reach out to them in ways that will encourage, sustain, and refresh them during the darkest of days. In Jesus name, amen.

"A prayer to remember written and read by Lynette kittle. Continue to remember those in prison. As if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. Hebrews 13 three during the holidays probably more than any other time of the year, people are drawn to remember, and help those who are suffering. At the same time, many struggle with thinking of those in dire situations. Feeling guilty themselves for enjoying festivities. So how do we handle the suffering of others throughout the holidays? Is it okay to enjoy the festivities when so many in the world are suffering? How do we remember individuals being mistreated? And still celebrate with our family, Friends, and community. The lord said, I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers. And I am concerned about their suffering, exodus three 7. If you've ever wondered, if God sees the misery, here's the cries, and is concerned with suffering. The answer is yes. Still, it's hard for us to understand how such a loving, compassionate, and giving God could ever even allow any suffering in the world. Adam sinn brought suffering to all humans. Sadly, ever since then, the world is a place of suffering, with no one escaping it. Romans 5 12 explains, therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin and in this way, death came to all people, because often not even Jesus escaped suffering and is often referred to as the suffering servant. Suffering is a result of sin entering the world. Yet some, like job's Friends, job one through 42, saw it as God's punishment. True, many do suffer consequences from their own sins. But Jesus, who is sinless, suffered to the point of physical death, his suffering was willingly, and for our sakes, to break the power of sin's curse over our lives. "A prayer for peace during the holidays, written and read by Lynette kittle. Today, in the city of David, a savior has been born to you. He is Christ the lord, and this will be assigned to you, you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger, and suddenly they appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, glory to God in the highest heavens, and on earth, peace to those on whom his favor rests. Luke two 11 through 14. He says a high commodity these days, desired by the masses, found by few. Often individuals believe if they can gather wealth, family, and a prominent position, peace will come. Yet most fine, that it is not something that comes through other people, possessions, or social status. Peace is not something we can create on our own or find in worldly endeavors. So how do we find true peace? And why does it seem so unattainable on our own? And through our own efforts, because of God's great compassion and tender hearted, loving kindness towards us, he sent a surprise of gift, and the true source for everlasting peace. Knowing we could never gain it on our own. While the world cries out for peace, and gathers leaders of the nations to try to negotiate for it, true peace only comes through one person, Jesus. As the prince of peace, he is the only person to ever walk on worldly soil, who has the power to bring peace on earth. As I say a 9 60 describes him before his birth four to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting father, prince of peace. Because he is the only source of true peace in the world, he promises us. Peace, I leave with you. My peace, I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid. John 1427. The peace Jesus brought to earth, calms our heart and chases every fear away. Our hearts no longer have to be troubled by the evil taking place in the world. When the peace of God is present in our lives, fear can not consume us, or stand up against it, but must back down. It must leave us alone when we trust and take refuge in him. Psalm 91 four describes the security. We experience when we find our peace in God. He will cover you with his feathers. And under his wings, you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. As well, proverbs three 24 through 26, explains some of the blessings and benefits. We receive through remaining in his peace. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. When you rest, your sleep will be sweet. Do not fear sudden danger, or the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from the snare. Let's pray, dear father, although the world is in chaos with confusion, unrest and fear, unraveling more and more, with each coming day. You O lord are steadfast and faithful. The one I can always turn to, find true peace, so today I'm turning towards you, asking for your peace to fill my heart and mind. Help me to look towards you rather than today's headlines. When fear tries to arise within me, let your peace chase every fearful thought away from my heart. Help me to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation to turn to you with prayer, petition, and Thanksgiving with my request. So that your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and mind in

"Written and read by Lynette kittle. The lord is close to the broken hearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit, psalm 34 18. Feeling heartbroken is probably one of the worst pains we endure as humans. It's an outwardly unseen injury, a wound so deep, no one else can remove the pain from us. No matter how many sweet, comforting words they speak to us. No drug, painkiller, or comfort food, is able to take it away, all humanly cures and solutions fall short, only masking the pain for a while, being totally helpless to eradicate it from our hearts forever. Yet there is one who has the power to remove its sorrow, with the power to comfort us in a way that makes it bearable, and to even replace it with joy. Psalm 30 11 describes how this can happen. You turned my wailing into dancing, you remove my sackcloth and clothe me with joy. Sounds impossible, but yet it's true. There is no heartbreak too deep or devastating for God to heal. As psalm one 47 three assures us, he heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds. Yet even though God is willing, it often takes time for us to give it up to let him have it. We often cling to the pain in fear of letting it go. Believing if we do, then the last remnant of our love will be gone forever, and will be left with nothing to hang on to. Often we find comfort in our pain, believing it's better to linger in its wounds, than to let go entirely. But hanging on only deepens and adds to sorrow, and keeps us from the promise of being set free and ready to receive more than we've lost. God never intended for us to experience broken hearts. The pain and suffering they bring are from the evil one who like a thief brings such devastating heartache, some people dive into deep despair. Giving up hope and the desire for life. But Jesus tells us the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it to the full. John ten ten. No matter how deep the wounds of a broken heart God assures us he is with us. For I am the lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand, and says to you, do not fear, I will help you. I say a 41 13. Let's pray. Dear father, you alone, God. Know the sorrow deep within my heart, and you alone are the one who can heal my broken heart. You who are my comforter in sorrow. My heart is faint within me. In this darkness of times in my life father, I turn towards you, asking you to mend my brokenness. And extend your healing into every area of my heart that is ripped and torn apart. I am powerless, lord, to remove this heartbreak from my heart, but you who created my innermost being and knit me together in my mother's womb, can make my heart anew again. I praise you father, because in you, I can be set free from the grief,.

"Written and read by Lynette kittle. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, Matthew 5 44. Have you ever been hated? If so, you're in good company because Jesus was perfect. Yet he had those who hated him to the extent of wanting him dead. More concerned should be if the world loves us, because it's a sign, we most likely aren't living our lives for God. As John 1519 explains, it's better to be hated by the world than loved. If you belong to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Most often enemies come not by our choice, and usually there isn't anything we can do to change their attitude towards us. Its birth within their hearts and has to be extracted from the inside out. Sadly, it's sometimes comes from within our own families who hate us because of our faith in Jesus Christ. Matthew ten 36. In these situations, how do we forgive those who hate us? Much less love them. Often we say we forgive, yet we don't feel it, and we certainly don't feel love for them. So what do we do in these circumstances? How do we get past unforgiving and loveless feelings? It seems the call to love our enemies is misunderstood, because the secular world has reduced love down to a feeling. But real love goes much deeper and often isn't a warm, fuzzy feeling. Real love is expressed through actions, which really are louder than words. Genuine love bypasses emotions and chooses to pray, do good, give and even sacrifice for those who hate us. So if boy to forgiving and loving feelings, how do we love our enemies with actions? Following our four ways to begin. Number one pray for our enemies. As Matthew 5 44 urges, loving our enemies begins with prayer. Number two do good for our enemies. Good may just start by not talking badly about them to others. Along with making no effort to harm them in return. Like Luke 6 27 encourages, but to you who are listening, I say, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. Number three give to our enemies. Although they may not want us to give to them, even so, our responsibility is only to give. If they refuse or discard what we offer, we have fulfilled our part. Proverbs 25 21 urges. If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat. If he is thirsty, give him water to drink. Number four, sacrifice for our enemies. Being kind and generous to someone who hates us, is living sacrificially. It's risky knowing that if we receive anything in return, it most likely will be more rejection and disdain from them. Yet Luke 6 35 encourages, but love your enemies do good to them and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the most high. Because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Let's pray. Dear father, help me to love my enemies, forgive me for any and all bad feelings and thoughts. I may have had towards them. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. Although my heart doesn't feel like offering forgiveness or extending love, I want to follow your leading and calling in my life to do so and to go beyond my own feelings and emotions in this situation. Created me a pure heart O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Send your spirit father to move upon my heart and motivate me to show loving kindness towards those who hate me. Like Jesus said on the cross, help me to say too, father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. Thank you father for the comfort of knowing, blessing comes through being hated, insulted, and rejected by others for your name's sake. Also, for the promise that those who are hated for your namesake and stand firm in your love will be saved in the end. Help me to follow your example in praying, doing good, giving, and sacrificing for my enemies. In Jesus name, amen. Your.
