But it was not initially slated for repayment by the city. Oh, man. You have to repay this road, even if it doesn't need it because he's a charge. It's like Hunter Biden. He's gotta make million's because his dad's Joe Biden What's going on. "Virus shutdowns inspired by left wing governments and then well, tough luck, the media says. It's China virus. You deserve what you're getting, I guess. We don't want to report on your Hardship. Telephone number is 800 w b A P 800 to 89 227. You're going to be our spin room after the debate between Shelley Luther Andrew Springer Senate district 30 in the Great State of Texas. Let's go to Gordon Ville. Hey, Bob, Welcome to Christmas Day does show What's your Take? Krystal takes I go when I heard there. I heard parallel policy ideas. I think they both are on the same track. The difference I heard is what Drew hasn't done. He talked about what he wanted to do and what he's introduced and he didn't do. It hasn't done it course he's not been there that long, you know, and with the other thing that he's riding on her, his endorsements which carry weight because that's going to give him some backing. What Shelly's running on is she stood up to that liberal agenda didn't allow to dominate her, and she put her money where her mouth is, and she went to jail for it. So I think our choice here in this district is between a guy that's beginning to become connected. The lady just going to step up and take care of those like us. My property taxes skyrocketed over six years from $4000 a year the $13,000 year Americans up for sale. Wow, I'm ready to see some action on that. Yeah, I think a lot of Texans are eager to see some action on that. The last thing I want to hear from government leaders is but government but government real people are losing real jobs, real lives, real properties that impact their families and our system. Is not equipped. The tax system is not equipped to handle this crisis, and this is what we elect people to do to handle crises like this, Bob Man. I am sorry to hear about your circumstance. I know that. That you probably value family and I just hope that your Christmas Is able to be something that's full as long as you have your family around you, but I wish you weren't going through what you're going through my man. Appreciate it. We have a great family and own my own business. Obama didn't build I did with my clients. And I don't need the government telling me how to run it or when I can go to work. And when I can't, you're damn right. Really a big deal. That boy. Good. Thank you. I appreciate you. Thank you, Bob. Merry Christmas Out the Sherman we go, Matt. What's your Take The debate between Shelley Luther Andrew Springer. Who do you think came out ahead? I'm on the same page is believing the ball brought before me. I called you when you had the when you gave the opportunity out to the six candidates. Previously to come on, and Springer didn't show up until I believe the very last second, you know, and I gotta I gotta be honest about that. There was a communication gap there. They had the wrong email address for us, and that's why they have such a hard time finding us So I don't want that to factor in anybody's decision making and When we reached out to Mr Springer, Tonto, be on this debate. He showed up. So, uh, exactly, Um in Grayson County. There's been multiple instances over the past few months where they're going to do a candidate form a meeting. Agreed and, you know, discuss some topics. And, um one person shows up and the other person has something come up at the last minute and all that sort of thing when you contact him and ask him questions about what you voted for in the past, and why you did it. You don't get a response. That's an issue. Um, surely Luther did stand up against, uh, against the government. She paid for it like he said, going to jail. Um, she she might not be the most Perfect politicians. You might have the greatest answers, but neither did trump and a lot of people. A lot of people fell in love with that, Um, I think she just does a little bit better job. Of representing Common people than somebody who's been in Austin starting to get those like the gas for me the connections of the swamp that we have here in our own state of Texas. Matt. Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it, folks that is going to do it for the Crystal Saito's show on this Wednesday, Thursday tomorrow, and there's so much stuff I didn't get a chance to To get to today if I can. If something else doesn't come up. I need you to know that the Socialists are already asking Mr Biden. To usurp your will to go around your representatives. So if that's going to be the M O of the incoming alleged incoming administration to, you know, ignore the will of the people. I'm going to ask this question tomorrow. What obligation do we have to listen to them if they don't want to listen to us? That's it. For the Crystal Saito show. This has been a Sean Chastain Daniel Stark's production. Remember DFW until we visit again. Societies worth We don't measure our society's worth based on how much power is seized by elites in government. We measure our society's worth by how much power is reserved. For you. And May we, the people have yourselves a great day. Ah. See, Tomorrow morning, nine o'clock after the W B a P. Morning news. "It is one of those components to make sure that our roles air clean people who move away. I live in other counties. Other states and other countries still are not on our boat Nobles. That's where people come in. And they realized somebody hasn't voted in eight years. Hey, there's another name that you know when nobody's looking, I can steal and request a mailing about We're just actually, you know, some of our poll workers potentially could steal him and vote for them. And so those are the things that we need to continue to closely. Postal. All right. Next question goes to you, Mr Springer. You're gonna lead on this one taxes. Though Some reforms on property taxes have passed her in the state of Texas. There are still trapped doors. That allow municipalities to raise taxes without the consent of the governed the taxpayers. What will you do to make sure Texans have greater control over how much of our taxpayer money is coming out of our wallets. Yeah. No, I was proud of the work beginning work We did with SPT last session to put restraints on how government can grow without the input of the senses. You know, One of the loopholes that remains in there is that they can use CEO debt that they can create debt without going to the voters for voter approval if they're using those types of instruments. Those have to count against those caps that we're looking at because voters have the right To be able to hold their elected officials accountable to make sure their protections are growing faster. You know, then what? Their income on? Yes, and that's what That's what we put in place, and that's what we need to continue to be able to do. If the citizens there want to have that they want to come in and say, You know, we want to add this many new law enforcement officers. To our city, but it's going to raise your taxes 8%. It goes to the voters and the voters vote specifically on that deal. That's the way the system has to work. All right, Shelly Luther to you taxes. What? What do you think needs to happen to give the taxpayers of Texas not the bureaucrats more control over our tax money and be a specific as you can. Will Chris, I don't know any taxpayer that will go lobby and often and say, Can you please raise my taxes That does not even make any sense. The government continues to say that we're lowering your property taxes, and we did this for you. And we did that for you. But why does my property tax bill continue to raise and that's because we don't have any control of the appraisal districts and our house values. Continue to rise over and over again, and we have people that are getting taxed out of their home. We have veterans that have fought for us and wars that have their home mortgage completely paid off. But because they can't pay their taxes that continue to rise, they get kicked out of their home. So you're actually don't even have life, liberty and property in Texas because you are renting your property in Texas. We absolutely need to get ahold of these appraisal district. I think that we can eliminate property taxes in 10 years time, Absolutely. By cutting all of this ridiculous government spending that we have. We have taxpayer funded lobbying that we're trying to ban this year because your tax dollars go to Austin companies are lobbyist companies that actually work against you. Why would I want my taxes Going towards that way handled illegal immigrants that are fully funded in our state that we have our veterans and homeless people laying around all over the place. This is something that should be common sense very simple. Cut anything that the government is spending that doesn't include life, liberty or property. We can get rid of property taxes, but we can't do that until we get a hold of these appraisal district that are ridiculous. Folks. You're listening to the debate between Chile Luther Andrew Springer, Texas Senate district 30 here in the greats. And in our great state. I want to expand in this discussion because ah, lot of a lot of taxpayers within the sound of our voice got run over. By out of control taxation because of a new, uplifting economy, courtesy of President Trump. Shelly When you were I want to expand on your answer a little bit when you're talking about Changing the way we do things. What type of alternative taxation would you be looking at A consumption tax? Something like that. Well, if we had to, and let's be clear, we we pay enough taxes, and we have enough people moving here to get rid of property taxes completely if we actually cut the government spending, But if we had to, I would definitely only go to a consumption tax. Aware we raise the taxes a little bit on non essential items. Obviously, that would not include diapers, milk, bread and things like that. But if we tax things that like Soda 1% more or junk food 1% more than we will be able to have the money that we need for our cities and to operate our cities and from I would never I would never, ever ever vote toe have an income tax. Excellent. Mr Mr Springer. I want you to come in on this because a lot of folks are saying it's time for Texas to reimagine taxation toe. Actually, there's gotta be a better way of doing it than the way we're doing it that sets us up for these. These massive tax increases of the people don't seem to have a lot of representatives or who are willing to go and say, Wait a minute that they're here comes the freight train. We see it, but we're not gonna be able to do anything about it. What are some of your ideas? To get that under control again..

"Our two personnel. Saito show, folks. Texas Senate District 30 the debate between Shelley Luther and Drew Springer Quick update on the rules, candidates will have three minutes to answer questions. There will also be 1.5 minutes for a rebuttal. Candidates are not required to use all of their time and defending on their responses. I may engage in an open discussion. By the way, microphones will remain open so long as the rules are adhered to. So All that being said I want the folks here on news talking 20. W b a p to welcome in the candidates. Shelly Luther Andrew Springer. Welcome to you both. Thank you. Good morning, Chris. All right. We did a coin flip and Shelly Luther got the first question you both will be able to answer both questions again. Three minutes for a response. 1.5 minutes for a rebuttal to each of your candidates responsible. You're going to answer the same question yourself. So here we go, Shelly. The first question is to you. Election integrity. Now, many Texans are very concerned over the fraud they witnessed in this last election. They have also reported on equal enforcement of politicking laws at the polls. For example, voters In this last election could wear BLM gear but not mag a gear. Is voting integrity your top priority. If you're going to go represent 30th, the 30th district in the Senate. If so, what elements of a new law would you author or endorse? They would make cheating at the ballot box. More difficult, Chili. So obviously it's in my top priorities a lot, you know, along with making sure that the government isn't um, taking away our liberties. But with this what you spoke about? I do feel like there should be, um Everybody should be able to wear what they want into a polling station because that's your freedom and your liberty to do so and wearing a mask or not, wearing a mask is the same as that. But as far as Making sure that we do have voter integrity. I do feel like that. You should have a license to vote and prove who you are. I am not I would not allow mail in ballots unless it was absolutely necessary. People overseas our military Um people that are sickly at home. Things like that. We do need to make sure that everybody is a U. S citizen. We do need a better system to make sure dead people are not voting. Um And we should be able to easily contest any kind of vote anywhere without so much heartache like President Trump is having to go through. I mean, if people feel like they won an election, we should be able to pull that ballot box open. Have the proper people open them up and see that everything is verified and clear. It shouldn't be so difficult to make these things happened. Of course we have. You know, he verified system and You know things that will help us with that. But obviously my biggest complaint is everything should be crystal clear to where if we wanted to check it, It's absolutely easy to do. And, um there's no problem with that. All right, Miss Springer. Do you have a rebuttal to what? You just heard from this? Luther? My question presses on voter integrity. You know, I agree that we have to make sure that every single Texan that boats is a citizen and that their vote is counted equally against those Honestly and fairly go to the ballot box. And I've already filed bills to do just that. One of the components of voter integrity is making sure voting list or Klink. Ohio has passed a bill to wear in six years. If you haven't voted, you're cleared off that make sure that dead people don't stay on the list for 2030 40 years. Tell somebody nefariously, acting is a liberal comes in and harvest is that name and that idea to vote illegally. And so that is just one of the components. I'm proud of the election integrity that I have helped put in place over the last years that I've been a state representative to make sure that Texas is where things were done, right. Can we do better? Absolutely. That's why I filed that bill, but I support Ken Paxton in his lawsuit. And agree with Judge Thomas that it should have been heard because when Texans vote legally fairly and properly in other states are doing same day resident registration without checking ID's It devalues the boats in Texas, and that's not fair to Texans, and we need to fight the federal government when they allow that to happen illegally. And I know that Pat Fallon, who's endorsed me, has initiatives in Washington D. C. To be able to do just that to make sure that our federal election standards are the same great things that we have here in Texas. All right. So now I just ask you both to drill down to this because now I'm gonna open up the floor to live a discussion that the second part of the question was this. What elements of a new law would you author or endorse? Make sure she did at the ballot box is more difficult. So if you would just focus on that about 30 42nd, Shelly, what do we need to get into law to make our votes more secure? I think that the number one thing that we need to get into laws that you have to have a valid I d. And that you have to prove that you are not only a U s citizen, but you reside where you are voting and I think that would be the number one thing that we do and make sure that you know People that are better dead aren't voting. And I would actually say no more mail in ballots unless it was absolutely necessary. More of like an absentee ballot type thing. All right, Mr Springer. What about you? What about something specific? We must change here in the state of Texas. Let me give you an example and ask you to comment on this. A election cycle ago. We had Individuals who are part of the government run education system found politicking using government resource is on school campuses. Yet there is nothing in the Legislature that punishes anybody with a penalty for doing so. The only thing the attorney general could do was wag his finger doesn't that need to change? Yeah, absolutely. We need we need tougher rules. People are violating those definitely more than wagging the finger. But you asked for specific one, and that's why I gave you the house bill that I've already filed filed 10 bills. One of them was on voter integrity..

"Our debate between Shelley Luther Andrew Springer begins at 10 05 commercial uninterrupted for a half an hour there will get is many issues as we can discuss between the two candidates. You folks and Senate District 30 in the great State of Texas still have some voting to do, so we'll get all of that. And, yes, Biden, if he is sworn in, will be an illegitimate president. I will not. Back. Suri and candidate Backed by the Communist Chinese. Country dedicated to our destruction. And I will not back a political party. Dedicated to the same, which is the total sum total of Democrat Socialist Party. Here in the United States. When they pass. Idiotic laws. Didn't make American families in Texas families less safe to benefit the criminals. They are the enemy of the people. Literally speaking. Those of you just tuning in. Some Socialists shrub. Out in The People's Republic of Seattle. Not only to shoot wanted to fund the police But she also wants to pass a law. That would make Crimes by poor people. UN prosecutable saying it So if you're poor, you can commit crime. So long as it meets your basic needs. So, yeah. Knock over the The liquor store. Knock over the The Rolex store because you needed to sell those Rolexes to put food on the table for your family. It's okay. Says Socialist Democrats. Steal from another family still food right up another family's table. Because your family needs to survive. It's OK, do it. Do it, say Democrats, socialists and then the same Democrat Socialist like Terry Mazes says, Oh, and by the way, we're gonna change the castle doctrine so that you families In your own homes can't defend yourself. When people come in to steal your stuff because they have basic needs. You see? Out of Frisco can welcome the Crystal Saito show. Should we allow poverty? Torto, uh, to basically be a get out of jail free card for people, Chris. Thank you for having me. My comment is that poverty traditionally has led the hard work. Not to violence. Okay. What does that mean? Well. It's a comment that rush made probably in the early nineties during the L. A riots, and people are saying that this that poverty leads to violence. Russia's comment was no poverty should lead her hard work. Good. I think I think it would be the hard work because there are government interventions. That are causing people to change their behavior to do other things. True true, what? Why would you go to work when you've got a sitting Texas representative or some Dumb ass socialist Democrat out there in Seattle, saying it's okay. As long as you're trying to fit fill basic needs committees. Much crime is you need to fit your needs. Why? Why would you go to work? When you could just steal I think this goes this goes from the poor and it goes all the way up to our bureaucrats and our our Wall Street investors. You know, Ludwig von Mises said in his book, Socialism that the extent to which you interfere with society. People are going to make wrong decisions because they're not acting on the right information anymore. They're acting on information that you have affected. We've seen that in our election. We see an economic policy and fed policy. In our media straits. Yeah, Yeah. No, I'm right there with you can and s. Oh, yes, left to their own devices. When somebody doesn't have they go to work to attain. That's called merit. And our socialist Democrat friends don't believe in that anymore. They're not like us. My friends. There's something other than us. They're not Americans. Not anymore. Out to Fort Worth, Jacob. Welcome to Krystal's Saito Show. Poverty is an excuse to commit crime. What do you think? Thanks for having me, Chris. Thanks for everything that you do, Um, just real quick background. I've lost my home in November. I've got a full time job. I've got a daughter. I've got the desperation. To be gleefully happy to hear somebody say All right, go commit crime. Get your means. But yet I don't. I still wake up every single day and go to work to achieve what I need to achieve. And now while I'm sleeping in my car it feels like The council doctrines. The only thing that can protect me and what little I do have at the moment they're trying to take that from me as well. So no, it doesn't. It doesn't mean anything. I agree with the last caller and You just get back to work. Do what you need to 30 family the right way instead of looking for you Americans to fill your pockets. Well, I understand, But you have a name, tired Political party, the socialist Democrats who are saying who want to enable criminals to break into your domicile, which happens to be your car at this point. Break into your car and take what you and your daughter have because they're the criminals need is greater than yours, Jacob. Flat. Disagree. Hi, Dad. It's sickening that here these things coming out of our elected leaders, air quotes Um If it is just dumped on and I don't even know what to say at this point, Chris, we're lying. Understand? I understand exactly what you're talking about. Thank you, Jake. Appreciate the call Terry Mays. It doesn't deserve your respect. Neither does this idiot out in Seattle, Lisa Herbal to call the police that she just voted to defund. And wanting to decriminalize the criminal act that was done through her..

Channel five to the bottom of the hour. And As as I was telling the morning show I had Had a couple of options. And as a matter fact, Daniel Howard, we're noodling this And you know shit. There are accusations being leveled by both camps. Against Against the other candidate. And I'm I have explained this. You seem To get this When you're trying to put together debate. You have this pressure saying, Well, can we address some of these accusations? With. There's something in the back your mind because it's going to lead to, you know, some spirited discussion and it's going to lead to Perhaps the candidates taking a swipe or two it one another. And then notice. The word I haven't said once in that analysis. The candidates, the candidates, the candidates, the candidates, it's not about them. Is it? It's about you. It's about what's harming You. So we decided to stick to policy and policy on Lee. And It's a little bit easier to do a debate because both these individuals lean right. So the priorities they're important to the conservative movement. Are going to be the nature of the debate. And even you left us out there. It's gonna It's gonna even benefit you that much to your chagrin. Talking about the issues. That have been impact us all. Speaking of leftist, I got an email yesterday from a guy named Ron. He's an admitted Left winger and I let me start off by complimenting him. He's honest. Unlike most of you on the Socialist Democrat side Who are dishonest. Who Just look at Eddie Bernice Johnson, Colin Allred, Marc Veasey Liars. In particular in their claim to love the United States of America. They don't they hate it. And I call this individual because of some of the things he said. And anti American and he said, Damn right. I'm an anti American. I hate this country. His rationale was because he can't get somebody else to pay for his medical care. He believes it's Other people's responsibility to pay for his medical care. But he hates us. If I he said, if I could leave for the UK And become a citizen over there. I would And at this point, I think, Ron, if you want to come forward, I think a lot of A lot of people in this audience with all chip in to buy you a one way ticket. Get the hell out of my country. Those who hate America. Which I believe describes the vast majority of people. Who Mr Biden wants to inject into this into this government. The return of Barack Hussein. Obama is government. He's got there'll be a whole bunch of people. Coming into government who are just like Our friend Ron. Hate America. Really love themselves from totalitarian Marxists, Marxist Leninists. Love themselves and Communist Chinese. So, um Just like I said, I This this debate that we've got coming up in the next hour 10 05. It is going to be centered on Policy. Been impacts Americans and it it will benefit those of you hate this country. You hate our state of Texas. It will benefit you. We understand we no one understand That's how you survive. You benefit from the prosperity the freedom in the liberty. As you use those tools like a radicalized Islamic fundamentalist terrorist would to destroy our country. We understand that Our hope is That You'll just be outnumbered. As you have been the majority of our time in existence sadly, because of the government run education system that's turning around anti Americanism is becoming the norm. In the next generations. And That has to stop. That is to stop. They look at they hear the phrase America first, and they shake. They're being taught very young to hate America. Yes, I'm looking right at you. You administrators and the government runs schools. And you're anti American curriculum. You're anti freedom, Anti liberty curriculum. Telephone number again, 800 to 8 W B A P 829 to do seven before we get to the debate. Some stories I wanted to bring to your attention. As you all know, there is a socialist Democrat who is in the Texas State House. God help us all. Who wants to remove your right under the castle doctrine to defend your home. Let me give An example. Of what Terry Meza wants to do to you. This is from discern dot com. Louisiana homeowner shot four armed invaders last week, killing two of them. After they broke into the into his house carrying guns. The surviving suspects Renard costly senior and Jason Le Blanc are both facing charges of first degree murder off the deaths of the two other suspects killed in the invasion. So Buddha Judge is supposedly going to be the transportation secretary for Joe Old Joe, and, um, By the way, As you hear these failures, at least you could know this. He is he's openly gay. He's openly gay. Is that great? He is openly gay. I mean, that's all that matters in all this. It's that that really is all that matters. Unfortunately, you know, because Trump is a massive homophobe, right? He hates gay people, always killing them the streets. He's He and his vice president, plants are tase a ring and, you know, murder and gay people, right? Unfortunately, Buddha judge will not be if he ends up being a cabinet level position. And if Biden and have taken over on the 20th Unfortunately, Buddha Judge will not be the first openly gay Cabinet member. Oh, no. That would be required l Who was the Deanna under Trump openly for our first ever openly gay can't remember what What Homophobe who hates and torches Gate put it openly the first time he beat the Democrats. No. But but but but but but, um Remembers. You hear all this. All the criticisms and brothers share with you and people to judge how much of an abject failure he wasn't small, Small town. And now we're supposed to be elevated to the transportation secretary. Just remember that as bad as it sounds here, remember, he's openly gay. So that really does make everything okay? Okay, because that is really all that matters. Are you game Muslim or black or combination thereof, or transgender? Something like, If you're something like that, then you're going to be okay. All that matters. Esso Under his two term two terms as a small town in In self Bend, Indiana. From 2012 to 2020. Let's see what happened. Ready. This is fantastic. Mary Pete has a pothole problem. Member remembers you as I released you. Don't worry about it. Please Gay. So that takes care of all this. Just just listen. Get a possible problem, reported Fox News this afternoon from 2012, the 2020 minutes, mayor in 2019, the South Bend Tribune reported. Small town paper caught him and Elvis. I mean, it's not is not difficult to figure out. It's that bad. South Bobbin Tribune reported last year that many residents felt the city had the worst possible situation in the entire state. He's got a small town and he's got the worst bottle, probably the entire state of Indiana to put him in charge. It's perfect. Put him in charge. Let him run this the Transportation Department. Which one would have been better? The Biden was talking about one to put him in for, uh, we called China Ambassador to China, Which one would be worse, But this is great. This is fantastic. I don't even think he worked at that. I've ever talked to anybody from China as the mayor of a small town, But we know he destroyed the Rose. It's the worst I've ever seen. Said here that the South and Tribune reported in 2018 that potholes at the time under Mayor Pete After six years of Mayor Pete were the worst area repair shops had seen in over 10 years. Ah, Yeah. Lines of vehicles reportedly awaited repair for pothole damages every day. There were lines every day Quote. It's the worst I've ever seen, said of service manager at Ricks. Oughton Road, 66 South Bend, another local repair shop owner, so the damage typically came out to between $500,000. But he's gay. Man repeats gay, So relax. It's fine. He's gay. You know, it's fine. It's worth waiting in line, destroying your car. In 2019. It was so bad. Listen to this. In 2019. It was so bad that Domino's pizza stepped in. There was a contest where customers were asked to nominate. This is apparently out of the entire country. Domino's pizza had a contest for you to nominate their your hometown. So carry out pizza could have a smooth delivery home. And you know that Dallas forwards you name it. We did not win. It was in fact, South Bend, Indiana won a 5000 paving for pizza Grant if filling potholes from Domino's pizza, who If Joe Biden takes over in the 20th and mayor pretense of being our transportation secretary, maybe he can work with dominoes to expand this paving for pizza program. To the entire United States. Wouldn't it be great? Like, Hey, guys, We can't fix the roads, but dominoes will live for you. Yes, I did it in in South Bend. So why wouldn't we have dominoes? Outsources of dominoes? The Buddha Judges, Democrats successor ran on a platform of repairing the pothole problem. That's how bad this is. Important. Here's what you're gonna love. This is classic. Crony Socialism, crony socialism. This is exactly how they roll these socialists in 2017. And what is that? What is that? When I say that, I say when they like with lockdowns with a coronavirus crap the restrictions they can do whatever they want. But you and I We can't open our business. We can't have freedom with no, no, no, no. So here we go. It's perfect. That's why he belongs with Biden in 2017, top aides to Mayor Buddha judge expressed interest in having the road in front of his house repaved. It was not initially slated for repayment by the city. Oh, man. But emails obtained by the Free Beacon show that Buddha judges then chief of staff expressed concern that his road was not on the maintenance list. Don't you know you can't do this? He's in charge. You have to repay this road, even if it doesn't need it because he's a charge. It's like Hunter Biden. He's gotta make million's because his dad's Joe Biden What's going on. With the paving on North Shore, the email read. It wasn't on the latest paving list. Brutal judges aide wrote in an email to the city's then deputy director of public works. "On his program between 10 and 10 30. It's going to be a debate between Shelley Luther Andrew Springer. That's going to be an interesting when I bet you this would be some sparks flying. Appointment listening tomorrow. 10 do 10 30. Wanted to tweet quick pooping in the pool. But there's no pool in football right? That that I'm aware of. Anyway, This is crazy. Have you heard about this? Producer David Lamar Jackson denies pooping during Monday night football. Have you heard about this? Just earlier when you say that. What did he want? Yeah, I don't know. Didn't poop his pants. I don't know. I don't know. And so okay when I saw this heaven and I know about you, this is the headline in The New York Post. Lamar Jackson denies pooping during Monday night Football. Oh, my gosh! I thought that he dropped trowel or something. You know what I'm saying? I thought that he Like Was he on camera on the field? Like did he go back a little bit to the corner and do something some stupid juvenile stuff? Because a lot of these guys, you know? You know, rich juveniles. Dude, I'm saying punks. No, no, Apparently he Ran off the field on numbers like what are you doing? And they had a camera. Listen to me. This is freaking crazy. They had a can and I might be off a little bit. I'll show the story with you, but I watched the video and I read a little of the story. They're the camera. You know, the NFL or of the network? Um Monday night Football. They? They have a camera, the hallway leading in the locker room, so they show him going course Locker. Is that coming down the hallway by himself because everybody found the field playing. I guess he's he is definitely he's doing the trot. What do you call that? The trots or something? You know? I mean, is there something I don't know? What is this? Uh, yeah, I I swear, I heard from the trots or so I've got the trots. I don't It could be wrong. Let's see. What are the trots? Let's see. Yes, informal diarrhea and illness that causes the person that you blow. Okay. The trot. Why is diarrhea called the truck's? Here we go. It's recorded back as far back as 18 await. To play on the runs. Ah. Okay, um Guess it. I guess it is. You're trying. You're running by the way. I always I never got a call in to run because you're running because like, I gotta go. I gotta go is that this is a stupid basic question. Go ahead and laugh me. They called. Runny. OK, so I'm not trying to be vulgar and graphic here. I'm just I'm being honest. And as I'm sitting here and thinking the trot And it's Zee Langford diarrhea, but, uh, it's a play on the runs. Backdoor. Whether this refers to outsider backsides emphasis makes you clear not talking about horses running so Um I don't know. Then I don't know if it means you're trying. You're kind of running in the runs or if it means because it's a runny. What gun Not trying to girls. But Here we are. Anyway, so he is denying that he had had to go duty. Large action by the way, you know all of our Number two audio would be playing right now. I'm learning more about this stuff. Have a nice thought, but that's just one. It's a personalized seven. I don't know who cares. Anyway, so the Ravens won 47 42 Monday night. Despite must much speculation, Lamar Jackson said he did not take the Browns to the Super Bowl. In the process. All of this is great. In the fourth quarter, he jogged to the locker room. So he's in the middle of the fourth quarter. He job to locker before was described by ESPN broadcast broadcast as Cramps. Obviously that's what it is, and it happens all of us. But his sudden departure captured by the broadcast lead fans on social media speculate. That we need to go for a to go for two. He's going for 22 points. No, no. He returned later. Oh, he's a quarterback. Oh, my gosh. He's the quarterback. He returned later. This is Jackson with the Ravens Ravens. I don't know anything about, uh These folks, so I don't know who's who. But he returned a seriously later to throw a touchdown on fourth. Um, gave the Ravens lead all my God, she says. I didn't pull a Paul Pierce in reference to the former bad Boston Celtics star who was carried off the court in a wheelchair for a parent bathroom break during the 2008 playoffs. We hired a female black police chief doubt The numbers are through the roof of the homicides in bounds, but she's black, and she's a female. It's just like people just suppose it will be the transportation secretary. He had a massive pothole scandal in a small city. They ran for years, but it doesn't matter. He's gay. That's how we roll. Now it is with Democrats. Another person says. Please hire a police chief from outside the department to bring in fresh perspective to the challenges facing department today. Today. Should that be offensive to give that to a black person? I would personally think That if That product is widely available. On. Everything I've seen is not. He's got a small town and he's got the worst pothole problem of the entire state of Indiana to put him in charge. It's perfect. Put him in charge. Let him run this. The Transportation Department who which one would have been better? The Bible was talking about one to put him in for, uh, we called China Ambassador to China. "And being astonished at how expensive it is. A lot of people, that's a lot of money including me. So I think a common misconception insight really a misconception. I don't know if it's misconception, but a common thought when you enter place, any books are really, but especially perhaps a place like the seminary, call that specializes in titles from university presses which we won't get into now. But are often for reasons known and unknown very expensive. A lot of labor time a lot of research time, and a lot of editing time that goes into the production of university press book Leinna as, as a book editor as well. Precise insight into that. Is that right? So you really know why we're ascribing this value to books, or is a reason thera. You can always tell when there's a paid copy editor on board with a project, and it usually makes the book better. But there's also you know, if you're talking about works that are either in translation or that have passages that have been translated as part of the research. There's translation fees. There's foreign rights fees and stuff. So there, there really are a lot of things tied up in the cost of university press book, which is not always apparent the casual browser. We're here today not to talk about it's the front tip where we're standing now. But also at the front of house front of store, some books, that are marked down, and you're going to tell us why and what those books are called. Yes. Exactly. Yes. It's the remainder carts. This is just an abandoned cart, but I've put some remainders on but yeah here at the front of the star. We have various sales sections. Some better signed than others. And I just wanted to point, you around the different things that we have in reasons why they may have ended up here on sale, despite us. You know, fully valuing the book, this is not trying to undercut anyone this is not trying to light out some form of labor that's gone onto the book. There are other reasons why these books are lower price, so to these I pulled brand Luther Andrew pedigree from penguin, press, and EastWest street from Naf by Philippe sands got a couple of these in this category. Alexei of secondhand time, of course, Nobel prize literature, and then another Luther book Martin Luther renegade in profit. Throwing a boat here. What's wrong with Luther? He's all he's just remaindered all over the place. He's a controversial guy. But both these Luther books were massive when they came out in hardcover, and now here we have renegade improv Lindahl Roper from Random House that one is marked down from forty two nine ninety eight and despite having are fantastic sales here in hard cover. I think what happened to this is probably they pushed out the paperback for both of these Luther books sales have been going so strongly in hardcover paperback comes out that immediately, people want the paperback rather than the hard cover and despite the really high and quick sales. The publisher has a lot of hardcover stock that needs to get turned over to somewhere else wants the paperback comes out, and our customers are allowed to kind of take advantage of that, by getting this heart markdown hardcover stock that the publishers trying to they're trying to make room in their warehouses for, for the paperback or new brand new releases Luther. Not having that hard time of it led to the reformation hardcover book sales looking good. So good. In fact, that the publisher had faith in Luther enough to print more copies than than upping necessary. Right. Okay. Yes. And then there's the. This new stock of books that we are just in the process of cycling out onto our into our sale sections. These are stock from the Indianapolis Christian theological seminary, which had a fantastic bookstore attached to it for many, many years and believe the bookstore. Portion of it was closed down late last year early last year. Sorry, late last fiscal year in our books. And they were looking for a place that the stock could go and still be, you know, shared among people who really value it. So we brought their inventory up here to sell and a lot of it is, you know, older additions of things things I have some, you know, yellow pages some shelf ware, but as you can see lane Pagel's for aid, totem taboo, William James varieties of religious experience. These are prime books that still have a big audience. So we were able to bring them in and sell them at sale price, much to the benefit of our customers. Two and it's speaking in misconceptions this afternoon. But another understandable misconception. Is that the seminary Cobb is, in fact, attached to a seminary, which one point our history, we were, but no longer we still have. However. Notable theology section and then world religion section. So these books do have a home here that books like this with the continuing closing most Christian bookstores no longer do one more that I wanted to point out here is a book called an history of the corruptions of Christianity into volumes by Joseph Priestley would definitely sounds like a made up off their her religious book. But this is from a so-called publisher called forgotten books, and they do a lot of basically FEC simile reprinting books that are in the public domain. So as you can see this is more or less a digital scan of a manuscript from many decades ago, not sure when but you know that the S's look like Fs it's old enough that, that that's happening. And you got that thing it's not even a key on a keyboard anymore. Coffee stain or fake blood or anything like that. It's probably -mongst blood. Yeah. So these will be a digitally scanned and then printed up with this horrendous cover any any book that you get from forgotten books is going to have this torn kind of manuscript and half leather bound cover with a seal. Really, just pay a graphic designer like ten more bucks to make it better. But as which is this is unsurprising, but they are non-returnable because they're just printed as one off someone replaced, the book, they print it. And I mean it's fantastic, that these things are out in a veil -able in the world. So it's fantastic that these books are made available out into the world. But when we when we do bring them into the store because they're these one off printings of these books in the public domain. We once we buy them, we have them pass them onto a customer. So sometimes they. Until there. Yeah. When you put it in their back when. Exactly. Yeah. So sometimes as with any book, that's on our shelf for a long time. It just needs to find a new home mclearn shelves forgotten until it's forgotten again. Which I did. And we had to turn the recorder back for exactly. Yeah. Well, this, this isn't wonderful spot end all these would be forgotten books, if not for booksellers like you, Elaine. Thank you. Well with all the new.

You know, fully valuing the book, this is not trying to undercut anyone this is not trying to light out some form of labor that's gone into the book. There are other reasons why these books are lower price, so to these I pulled brand Luther Andrew pedigree from penguin, press and east west street from Naf by Philippe sands got a couple of these in this category. Alexei of secondhand time course, Nobel prize literature. Yep. And then another Luther book, Martin Luther renegade in profit. Thrown about here. What's wrong with Luther? He's all he's just remainder all over the place. Traversable controversial guy. But both these Luther books were massive when they came out in hardcover, and now here we have renegade improv, it Lindell Roper from Random House that one is marked down from forty two nine ninety eight and despite having are fantastic sales here in hardcover. I think what happened to this is probably they pushed out the paperback for both of these Luther books sales have been going so strongly in hardcover paperback comes out that immediately, people want the paperback rather than the hard cover and despite the really high and quick sales. The publisher has a lot of hard cover stock that needs to get turned over to somewhere else wants the paperback comes out, and our customers are allowed to kind of take advantage of that, by getting this heart markdown hardcover stock that the publishers trying to they're trying to make room in their warehouses for, for the paperback or new brand new releases Luther. Not having that hard time of it led to the reformation Harker sales. Looking good. So good. In fact, that the publisher had faith in Luther enough to print more copies than upping necessary. Right. Okay. Yes. And then there's the. This new stock of books that we are just in the process of cycling out onto our into our sale sections. These are stock from the Indianapolis Christian theological seminary, which had a fantastic bookstore attached to it for many, many years and believe the bookstore portion of it was closed down late last year or early last year. Sorry, late last fiscal year in our books, and they were looking for a place that the stock could go and still be, you know, shared among people who really value it. So we brought their inventory up here to sell and a lot of it is, you know, older additions of things things I have some yellow pages, some shelf ware, but as you can see lane Pagel's for aid, totem taboo, William James varieties of religious experience. These are prime books that. Still have a big audience. So we were able to bring them in and sell them at sale price, much to the benefit of our customers. Two and it's speaking in misconceptions after noon. But another understandable misconception. Is that the seminary Cobb is, in fact, attached to a seminary, which one point our history, we were, but no longer we still have however notable. Theology section and then world religion section. So these books do have a home here that books like this with the continuing closing most Christian bookstores no longer do one more that I wanted to point out here is a book called an history of the corruptions of Christianity into volumes by Joseph Priestley would definitely sounds like a made up off their religious book. But this is from a so-called publisher called forgotten books, and they do a lot of basically FEC simile reprinting of books that are in the public domain. So as you can see this is more or less, digital scan of a manuscript from many decades ago, not sure when the S's look like Fs it's old enough that, that, that that's happening. And you got that thing it's not even a key on a keyboard anymore. Think coffee stain or fake blood or anything like that was probably amongst blood. Yeah. So these will be a digitally scanned and then printed up with this horrendous cover any any book that you get from forgotten books is going to have this torn kind of manuscript and half leather bound cover with a seal. Really, just pay a graphic designer like ten more bucks to make it better. But as which is this is unsurprising, but they are non-returnable, because they're just printed, as off someone request the book they printed. And it's I mean it's fantastic that these things are out in a valuable in the world. So it's fantastic that these books are made available now into the world. But when we when we do bring them into the store because they're these one off printings of these books in the public domain. We once we buy them, we have them fully pass them onto a customer. So sometimes they. Until there. Yeah. Put it in their back when exactly. Yeah. Just a couple of. So sometimes as with any book, that's on our shelf for a long time. It just needs to find a new home mclearn shelves forgotten until it's forgotten again. Which I did. And we had turned the recorder back on forgot about the exactly. Well, this, this isn't wonderful spot end all these would be forgotten books, if not for booksellers like you, Elaine, thank you..
