‘Daredevil’ Canceled By Netflix After 3 Seasons; Future In Other Marvel Projects

"Netflix has cancelled daredevil. This is something that we didn't expect Chris. What do we know? Yes. Netflix has been slowly pulling the plug on their moral shows. Luke cage iron fist was canceled. I had Luke cage and now daredevil has been cancelled after three seasons leaving only Jessica Jones and the punisher as the. Only two remaining shows that belong to marvel and Netflix right now. In the statement. They said they that there are possible future projects for the character. And that can mean anything that could be, you know, net flicks in Jessica Jones or punisher or it could need Disney. Plus, but as for now, the daredevil series itself that appeared on Netflix is over and done

"Break. But I I like that though I liked how they were stacking all the odds against him and making it difficult for him to succeed. That's why I cared so much about what happened with home yet. So much shit to get past. I don't see how you can win. I'm like in any other instance, I could always see how you could get through this and make it work. But this time I was like I don't see a good ending from. Nobody. All in all I felt like the Fandel finale felt right? And it was a satisfying conclusion, I enjoyed how it ended. But I didn't quite by that this is gonna stick. Yeah. That's that's my one thing. I'm just like I just don't see Fisk not getting back out again. Like, if they don't cancel your devil, which I hope they don't if we get a season for. Come. What are they do to cancel all the net? Flicks. Marvel shows it was only to les Jones in daredevil. They cancelled Luke cage located physique hire a weekly or they cancelled Luke cage. They announced the cancellation of Luke cage the day that daredevil premiered Loesch shoe. Yes. Probably not the defenders. Oh, hell, no. No. They're not definitely not going back to Schick people didn't like that. When they came out. They named trotting really like it. It could have been it wasn't bad. It could have been better. I just think today they fucked up because I thought Sigourney Weaver was a good villain. "Or those characters going in. I just don't. So these shows to really good job of, you know, introduced these characters showing them. Many of these characters were flawed, which I think was good thing to see. Imperfect heroes, you know, which we hadn't seen a whole lot of it. We kind of had the MC you had shown us some of that, but these were characters that you know just weren't perfect. They had their flies. They had their issues. They had their problems. They had checkered difficult pass sometimes. But through that all they tried to find a way to, you know, to be a hero for their city and the people around them, and I really enjoyed that. So you know, like daredevil did an amazing job and they also took their time to just, you know, build the origins or the starting points of these characters. Right? They didn't rush it. Didn't rush. You know, it's just like, you know, just Jones now right to the action. No, they didn't do that. Daredevil definitely didn't do that. We didn't even see his conic suit until the very end of season one just the way it was, you know, and Luke cage. Same thing, you know, like we, we didn't get to see. Like, you know, we saw him show up a little bit and Jessica Jones, I think, came out before Luke cage season one, but you know, we got to see that there so we already got to see. And that's another thing the shows have done. They've kind of like, you know, start to ties in these characters together. They've shown up on some of each other shows, which I think has been a great idea. It's worked out really well. And like I said, I've gotten to watch some of daredevil season three so far. I haven't watched all of it, but I like what I saw so far and Jessica Jones. Even though season two had a few flies, it was still a good show. It was an enjoyable show. It was a show I enjoyed watching. So, yeah. And like I said, even an even punisher, which punisher originally came in for the. Those that don't know on daredevil season to, you know, John Byrne all came in. And again, we had gotten not one, but two punisher movies, and I had a chance to watch both of them recently. And I have to say, I, I forgot how bad the first one was, and it's sad because the first one is star studded in this big film and had a lot of potential. But it was really, really bad. And then I gotta see punisher war zone, which I thought was this video.

"Out the little TV Netflix to be exact daredevil season three's already come out. I'm sure a lot of you have binge watched it. And if you did you probably heard a little x. men reference and it didn't register with you because there's a little obscure. So let me tell you there may be some spoilers for season three here if you haven't watched it yet. So if you don't want spoilers zipped past this part toward the end of season three FBI agent, Benjamin Poindexter who has bullseye is undergoing redistricted surgery for his spine. You might notice the doctor's name in there that their consulting with Dr Yama who is Lord dark wind, who is one of the doctors who was the pioneer for fusing adamantine him to bones. They couldn't mention adamant him yet because the FOX Disney merger isn't quite done yet. So they didn't actually say. Demand him. This may be a lead in from the bringing more x. men related characters. We don't know. But the doctor or Yama reference was a nice, subtle little nod. A lot of people probably didn't catch another little nugget of knowledge for you. Doctor or Yama is also the father of lady death strike, let's move onto some other Netflix marvel series, NAS, oh, great news. You've probably heard by now. Iron fist is done after season two. There will not be a season three as of now for iron. Fist. That's really a shame. The first season was a little slow. The second really picked up in added a lot of depth to the character was looking forward to third season, but net Netflix has not picked up the option. A lot of fans were happy that got cancelled and I say, shame on you guys just because you don't like it. Why do you wanna take away from someone else? I actually enjoyed iron-fist both seasons and I know a lot of other people did also. So if you don't like it, hey. Don't watch it. It's really simple. Another marvel Netflix shows cancelled was Luke cage. The cancellation of Luke cage was a little disappointing. First season was really good. Second season picked up a lot introduction. Bushmaster great villain much better than the villains from season. One. Netflix says, decided that Luke cage will not get third season. That's not to say that Luke cage and iron fist won't be teamed up together for a defense heroes for hire or another. Defenders. Both of those I think would be a great idea if we don't get single seasons from those guys, this Nick shows some you may not have seen because it is exclusive DC universe, streaming service, titans. Watching the previous retains. I was a little skeptical, but after the first couple episodes, I'm a believer. Titans is a good show. In fact, rotten tomatoes gave an eighty four percent on its tomato meter with a twenty six positive reviews and only five negative ones as of time of. This filming. So if you have a subscriber DC universe streaming tines might be the show that gives you to find a crack, open that wallet and give DC some more of your money. Let's talk about his show that got canceled, but picked back up by Netflix. That's right. Lucifer. FOX originally candidate. It wasn't due to ratings spots is starting to cut ties with all the stuff that they don't really own a big percentage in. So they let Lucifer go, Netflix swooped in picked up Lucifer. They have leaked that they are going to have reveal in this season re meal is one of the brother. I believe in this when they're gonna make an assistant angel. Her and Duma are the ones who took over hell when Lucifer locked the doors in. Let's and come to earth. No word yet at this is going to be a binge watch on Netflix or if they're gonna raise it serially. Let's hope it's a binge-watch so we can watch all of Lucifer at once in two thousand nineteen.

"Netflix will not be picking up the option for season three of iron fist, but you will still see Danny rand crossover in some of the others and actually a defenders to is not off the table. So we will see Danny ran and possibly Jessica Jones. Another defenders. Probably Luke cage. They work so well together, and maybe we'll get a heroes for hire spin off, but there will be no more immortal iron fist solo series. I'm the. Protect your line. Yes. Danny, we know who you are. The aero verse has huge crossovers every fall. This fall, no, no different. We are going to be introduced to the city of Gotham and a new character to the aero verse bat woman, they cast ruby rose to be bat woman, and they've shown some costume pictures of her and looks like they took them straight out of the comic book. This is right off the pages of DC. Ruby rose has the look. She has the acting chops the arrow verse. All those shows are crazy popular. I'm loving that they're expanding, especially with Gotham going away. CW is expanding their CW superhero universe, so might not be long before we start seeing some more of these guys in their own series. DND players. If you remember a while back, they added a new class. Old spice came up with the gentlem-. In class based off of their commercial character? Well, not to be outdone. They've made another new class. Not old spice is just made up by the fans called the murder Hobo class. If you've ever played DND, you know, the murder hobos are the players who just want to maim kill rape, torture for no reason whatsoever. Just do it in cause chaos. They have made their own class with class defining rules. Now you can actually download this from DM guild, which is it's probably not going to be considered canon for DND, but being on DM guild is probably the next best thing. If you're DM is allowing it, you might try this murder Hobo class. If that's not for you, get the old spice gentlemen class there I've played the gentlemen class. It's pretty cool. You should try it out, murder Hobo class, not into that type of character. A lot of people are, but, hey. Now you've got rules for it by now. You've heard that Disney has fired James Gunn the guy who wrote and directed the guardians of the galaxy hugely popular movies. He was fired over some tweets. He made ten years ago or so. They were made in jest, but they were taken, I guess, by Disney's seriously. They didn't like the content a lot of dark humor that they didn't think was funny. So they've, they fired him well, as soon as they did that, all the other companies were lined up at his door knocking and the one he answered for was DC. The DC universe is going to have James Gunn attached to the new suicide squad to movie. He's already proven. He can write group movies with guardians of the galaxy in just do a killer job. It hasn't been decided if he's going to direct suicide squad to yet. But just the fact that he's writing it is it's mind blowing. We're going to see probably the best suicide squad incarnation. You could think of Batiste day Batista's already said that he wants to come over. If James Gunn is directing it and play a character. I just I can't wait for this to see a movie be as popular or some of the marvel movies would be great. I would love to see James Gunn grab this and run with it and just do a whole series of DC movies. So congratulations, James Gunn. Congratulations. DC marvel. I hope the guy you've replacing with does just as well. Let's finish this up with some Star Wars. Let's start with the mandatory and show by John Fabbro. If he don't know already, the Disney play channel is picked up a big budget, Star Wars series that they're letting Jon Favreau writing direct. Jon Favreau has done an excellent job with all the other stuff. He's worked on from iron man, two zero through gemology all the way up to jungle book the live action one. Handing him the reins of this in him picking a character or a classic character. So I contacted MandA Laurean can't wait man in case you didn't know Django fit Boba fett are the main delorean's you're probably more familiar with or maybe some the ones from the clone war series.

I know we got to series as as of this recording to series are upcoming ones already out is iron fist season to season dose. For our Spanish speaking friends. I know. Right. That's that's about the extent of most. Yeah. Okay. I think my daughter knows more Spanish than I do. I knew some of the callers under surveys ever, though seventy seven. That's. Out. That's it. All right. The iron fist season to iron fist season two. I'm excited for it. I'll be honest. I haven't had a chance to sit down and watching me, but that is going to be a binge of this weekend for me. Yeah. Those are removed. Like when you were saying Netflix and chill. When those come on, I totally focused on the TV, right and else exist because I'm looking all over the screen for Easter a stuff and go see as I see him I, the house with my wife is she is not a comic book nerd, right? So I see it and I want to say something to somebody and I look over her and she's just whatever I have no one to geek out with. We let me. So yeah, artists, like you said, it's out now. Yeah, he's in two. I I thought the first season was okay. I wasn't as good as a lot of the other series, but I liked it. It was. It was okay. I know got a lot of bad reviews. I let a harsh, they're complaining about the fight choreography, right. Obviously there never been in a real fight. Yeah, they don't have daredevil fights thorughout rule. Yeah, stylized fighting people are going down a hallway and beaten thirty forty people to Spicer over to. I twenty thirty six. Yeah, that I mean the. I mean you've got just the way that they I I like I like the choreograph. I thought it was really cool. They modify teams were kinda quick, but I mean, that's how it usually fights go on and you ever been to fight streetfight down. Just a jump is usually the winter and then half the time you have when you break it up, the guy it's getting their butt kicked the friends holdings. Like let me go. Let me add my God. But anyway. I can't wait to sit down and watch it. I really like it. He had a annoyed vis had had a small little Danny rand. Small little walk on with the last series with Luke h. for a couple of episodes. So it kind of got me a little more exciting when that happened. Defenders also, oh yeah, he was still tied into defenders. Supposedly an iron fist season two. They've kind of pulled the stick out of his butt and he's not as up tight Nagano tenor body, the immortal iron fist shut up, man. You're Danny, ran the. I don't know who this moral iron-fist guy is. Just like, I think with like a lot of the series, I still have to say, daredevil is my favorite. And lost it all it did like iron ended for the cinema? Yeah, I think so too. I think with Luke cage was was pretty good and just good Jones. I, I'll be honest, I hope I don't get any backlash, but Luke cage. She's in two. I did not like it. I like I like the slow character development stuff instead of just Michael bay action for the sake of action. But season two, I did not like as much as season one Luke cage this. I didn't hate it. I on season one. I liked it a lot. I just hated the way ended, and it was like that it was. It was I'm gonna beat this guy up and all go to jail now come on really. And then like I have for me was season two. I enjoy comic. I enjoyed character development, but there was too much talking for me in season two cage,

Visit the non-free, oh, bags kingpin and Elden Henson foggy dos every Every second. second. Up until punisher. She was in every marvel Netflix series. I think that was one that broke the streak is. Claire temple slash night nurse character while he's fantasizing about residing Dawson. Get daredevil season three. Is she slated on back back back? Is she Scott to be gotta be? They'll get second of the biggest surprise to strongly ended strong. The show that you're that we will have bull side in season three. Bullseye, and it's going to be again, that's another fall release, fall release of twenty eighteen Netflix and be a lot of bandwidth this fall. Yeah, a lot of people going to be streaming on Netflix, so people going to be subscribing. Once again, you know, I've been also you this. I don't know what I like more. I don't know which. Which Margot series. I like more. I think daredevil is it's up there. It's definitely up. There is still start at all. Yeah, and do that. We gotta show that that graphic again, the bloody face graphic holy crap. Crazy. Oh my goodness where he's kind of was like he's happy about being kind of smiling teeth in get and either they really picked a great guy. It'd be mad Murdock Charlie Cox again doing no wrong. So where do we go from here at season three again, a bull bull side, the fight between the two. So as a big rivalry since daredevil thwarted his. His perfect record. Yes, he's had it in for him and the countless of the cameos that we are eventually going to get. In the c set off, you is going to be back as kingpin. We don't know in what capacity, how much? Well, we see punisher. Once again, when mind why this is set after defenders also. So you might hear reference to Luke cage. Harry ran busy night. The Colleen wing, but what happened in fin or the I know. Oh, yeah, because I didn't see Charlie Cox run around with Condit. He's still over in hills, go, you're gonna get that. Are we ever going to get, you know, the Skiros crossover into the film world. I want to see that I would like to see I couldn't. They've said no due to how cool would it be to see daredevil in Iraq with spider to interact with to morning. To be in the next fighter film, how cool would that be? Dude, how cool would it be to see now that it can happen now that can happen the punisher fixing up within pool. As happened in the Smith, sit up with daddy and tell them so yet seven Marvel's got so much now their fingertips with with their who their. But their networks characters. Somebody just Cam use midday storyline, Jerry lights storylines a is again, there's solar side like to see daredevil, especially because like you said, he's the one that started up. Yes, he's on the kick-starting bell. So I'd like to see him, you know, throw out doctor strange. Do. There's a lot of character located in that that little Mary New York. Yeah, that all of those kitchen in the little beyond. Right, right. A kid yet. It's New York room, Spiderman punisher. Daredevil, all miss connector, a bullseye. They're all that all that New York. All that business happened right now, please, can we get peas? That would be it was just a small reference. I love those references. We have Patsy Walker. They haven't revealed that. Yes, you pass. You offered the company's health healthcare. Good. They've made a few, you know, register fighting an air. She hasn't put on the costume yet. So wait to see that so much that that again, you were a news Aram of Britain. Oh, you, sir. Here, you know, pull that up. The guy who plays is slated to play bullseye. Wilson, Bethel. I don't know what I've seen him all. So, yeah, he's supposedly both seem pictures of the work at post workouts things with him and Charlie Cox, and they both were cut pretty buff row. You ladies out there didn't work out. All right. I just mind again, my soap box there and just talking about how potentially in the city of New York you have so many. Here's a can be intertwined at z. I'd love to see dirt. I'll do that love to see some people make cameos that you just would not expect and or even once you do expect. Right. I wanna see some more defenders, senior. Sure. Shire's riyal I'd like to see iron-fist. I know you got a bad rap, but I, I'd like to see him as a mix. You will see his season two's coming out September two all. Yeah, so that's why I say Netflix, Poland, bandwidth. Hopefully we get some more comfortable action with the iron fist. Right. That's another fall released daredevil season three. And we're going to be talking about a few episodes. Once we start. Shing those once we start bingeing all usually takes me day and a half. Yeah, you know I'm going to be Benjamin. I can't believe I just totally forgot about maybe binging discovery, Star Trek, CBS all access. I'm what season two and I think of raid to the math how much is that if we did if we did you pull how many people go into until soft hammer. We did sixty seventy s it was a total about six was under seventy bucks, so okay, under seventy dollars. Let's just say now with the lowest price one. Okay. So you got Hulu. Then flicks you did. Did you do zone. Do you to read and. Discover why Rebecca remains is called in for. She's going to be in disturbed trek discovery is so did six streaming services and all that is under seventy. And as the ones that have the law of the lowest price of those. Wow. So you get that with your kit, your internet connection of other one, twenty some bucks you're, you're saying, yeah, you're, you're getting the ninety bucks and get yourself a really good HD antenna for the local news. I think you're think you're going to be okay, just watch out. They're going to have sports streaming services. They are. The NFL then were right. The RA do. That's going to be the big problem. It's all going to be just as much as not less than cable package. That's that's the big I'm telling you, so we'll go karts. That's the big question. All right. All right food for thought food for the new daredevil hopefully dig it. I know we're going to be watching. It's ROY. The first two seasons of mazing, fight scenes and great storylines the punisher seal extra hand, Gaza Andrews, are it off. So now we know why you're gonna watch their season three, the slight glimpse of resort. You know, you can just buy picture over it is can continually.

"And yes, the character Luke cage was created in seventies, you know, but Cheo really curated this. This world, this version of Luke as right now. And he had to do that by now only developing this modern narrative, but also putting together a quintessential team to deliver what he wanted to the liver. You know, from writers to rector of, you know, and, and he's an all inclusive person. He's, he's a very, very special intelligent, and I don't wanna say demanding but assertive person when it comes to getting what he wants and with with us. He gives card 'blanche to whatever the hell we wanna do. You know, and, but that's part of him like, no one, hey, that's expert of this on bring him into do that. And if we got a problem with something, I'll we do say something to him and he's gonna fight for us to get whatever we want, you know. So he's, he's the man is a difficult for you. Now you work with someone who is so his fighting for you so close to everything versus, you know, maybe if you come in just because you guys have a refugee, let me jump in when it comes to composing when scoring film or television, especially television. It's one of those jobs that are that were time is of the essence. I mean, you have you, you'll, you know on Luke as we have pretty much like four days to get a score done, and it's a lot of music, especially the way that we do it because we're using all real instruments so was was difficult about doing other scores is when you're working on those timelines, and you have a boss that you don't agree with on things. I mean, you probably the team, so you gotta try to make it happen, but is difficult when you're being an artist for somebody that doesn't understand with art should be, you know what I'm saying? That's when it gets difficult. But when you work with somebody that really gets it and wants to. Push you along push along with your journey journey wants to encourage you to expand upon in a where you could go or what you can create. I mean, that's those are the best situation. That's what we will. We've had since day one when marvel you know for Luke cage, but think that when you have someone who has a clear vision and understanding of music as in applies to, you know, the world that they've constructed then yeah, it it's just ease of flow. Some of the other situations that we worked in, it also come in ease of flow of someone says, you know what? I have no idea what the music sounds like, but I know you guys know, and so you bring it to me and we trust you. We're going. Sometimes that happens. It's not that often. Sometimes people have no clue as to the music of the world that they want to deliver. And that's when it is greatly challenging because you know, you don't know which languages speaking now, you know, but we find a way to just make sure that we're. Authentic to what we feel is coming off the screen and the depth of the characters as we understand it and the emotion that we feel is trying to be offered and we do our best to suit, you know like that. Yeah. Yeah. And with marvel with Cheo I think it's, there's obviously a lot of real specific thoughts and tones and things going for where you guys marvel has grown up. Did you read comments, you know, or is it like more because, oh, now Marvel's just everywhere. You can't really escape it with the movies. Television shows all that stuff. When I was young, I collect a lot of comics more. So when I was in elementary junior high, and then when I stopped, I stopped. I stopped. And so working on on Luke cage for me personally, it wasn't something about me being so much comics wanna get in. It was more so this is a television show that is being cultivated by Cheo who is a legendary journalists in the hip hop game as well as screen. Writer, and he has something to say, and he has to say about blackness in in the world of television, and he wants us to come, help him. Save that musically, that's was really special. And plus given the fact that marvel has a really great platform to the masses to help spread this message that was special in his one of those things that you know.

"Like about it is that this is isn't the trailer i think for luke cage is there's a point where she's like she's kind of full on and she's missing miana whatever and she gets a note from choline and danny yeah and it's like you know if you if you need help let us know because we got something in the works for you and it's just like a random prizes schematic shades with like like a handdrawn robot aecom on it like it's not a diagram it's just like handroll it's like danny was just like we should give her a cool robot arm and it should look like this and he's just sent to his engineers and they like that guess that is it work just like a regular pretty much isn't the only disappointing well that's the thing i and i guess that for the most pot like she's just a regular and it doesn't affect her life like she's yeah she's a bit strong because it's the enhanced strengthen the but more or less it's just the sign the only disappointing thing i feel about is when she gets the on put on this like a red button in between a thumb no palm why that's the thing adult no and i'm it's like the punisher in the mini gun situation say it in the trial he's got the mini company never uses it it looks like a bun and i'm like in the comic books her arms to all sorts of cool style even it's got like a sonic cannon that can liquify metal and all this sort of stuff and i'm like oh she's gonna use that like in the fi she's gonna hit that button and all sorts of things are going to pop off never does it's a good thing and saving not a good spot nah that all the time for show yeah okay yeah so i guess that that is that's progress i mean she's she's a little bit enhanced but it's not like and then not like while great that's not a major plot point off yeah she just carries with it exactly yeah this is from vic says i stayed with coupon code hi dick it's ni for waterbirds that bullet have you have you been watching cloak and degas really lucky i remember you guys talking about the trial has been nivea the actual show i haven't seen it i haven't seen it it's good thought people to not i don't think it's on anything waking get might be true it's on pivot tv man that's my channel pivot if something hope pave it it's a colin cold dunn mil apparently they had a the referenced some defendants stuff or something okay it's all linked mason like i think they might be a luke cage reference yeah did i mention the dragon bones under the city i would hope so may to he's a letter from jose ada i'm ready massacred that this is about this is bad infinity wall so spoils if you haven't seen infinity we'll say it just as on man is in accordance with kobe or cords so right so in thanos is black odor attacks how easy allowed to respond right away the whole point of civil wars to have oversight there was no oversight at all he went straight into the fight and causes struction as always i'll i'll tell.

"I it was a feeder gig and it was it was just amazing because it was like being a rockstar every night like gigantic concert was going on because it was destroyed ganic parked and people were coming up to after the show and there's a big musical number in it so it was kind of really fun you know almost like being a rockstar college so you know i read online that you know you've you've done a few projects like that and it seems like most of your roles are law enforcement how did that happen i don't know some pretty much a free wheeling guy but i just think the the kind of working class type character is is where i kinda fit and i think it's fun to be able to play a cop and to do you know kind of long types type things and and i usually get putting kind of forensics type role you know 'cause bailey go play on a luke cage he started out his kind of a forensic expert that was like promoted now you're gonna see the second season to is and it's cool you know you kinda followed the evidence and you get to be a little tough but a little bit analytical the same time so was probably what happens until about your addition for luke cage that was fun i told the story if you times but it's kinda cool because nobody knew what it was like everything marble does is under codename so i'd signed an nda and was given a script with no names on it just some line and kind of situation and so i went in kind of like a double make care at a two because i tanked and i dish in earlier that day that did not go well and so i was kind of feel a little off the cost and a little goofy and went in and did this quick you know audition with with jewish shubert who's amazing cast director and felt really comfortable and kind of goofy and you know double may care about it and then i i left and i know i did what the project was what it was or what it was for i thought it was according to the notes on it it was something called thira through disney i thought it was like i was like a princess movie or something and i was like some goofy cop a princess movie and then little did i know it was for marvel's luke cage and i got a call flying up the the the highway actually gonna convertibles had to pullover hero agent was saying to me and so i pulled over and he's like yeah you got it no the but what is it that we had to do this detective work and then after i did that detective work i found out it was luke cage and i was like those is just again surprise were you into comic books at all no man not at all actually i love the i love the avengers movies though i really really did i i've always devoured them and my father in law is into comic books and so it's like kinda got some some brownie points there with him because he was like wait you're in this luke cage and he pulled out all these old editions cage comics do all about it so i kinda used them as a as a resource before i went into the per season i was never into comics my brother was but i i love all the marvel movies and stuff like that even the net flicks shows that they were doing they're great yeah i mean i i was excited it's an amazing universe to be a part of and you know this somewhere somebody in the whole scheme of it is organizing all of it so it's all combined in some way shape or form so this is cool to kind of be to be a part of this cultural phenomenon happening so tell slow by character balian how did you prepare for that role it was it was actually really interesting because bailey was only supposed to be a couple episodes and it was kinda like being like ever watched the princess bride yeah where where he said you know it's like okay good night wesley sleep well to that we have to kill you.

"Has if that and that's my point number one wow that was a strong point i like emphasis on the strong right well hey james was a great point i'm not gonna argue with it it was all accurate because cages stronger and i think you are under selling baynes strength the little bit i've got him topped out at fifteen on it's still less than luke's top strength but that's why my point number two this point is all about the pressure because luke cage while he is very strong while he is very hard the hailed jews say he has one glaring weakness that a martial artists like bain would have no problem exploiting and by the way this was kind of the point of this was how james defeated luke cage when we debated him it gets captain america one of the ways despite luke's durable skin he still has multiple pressure points and another marvel martial artist exploited that weakness in another comic and kick the crap out of luke cage that wasn't on your list james but that was black panther that happened in the comic book black panther man without fear issue five sixteen now what's important about that comic just to give you some context black panther had lost all his connections to his kingdom of kanda he was fighting without his technology without his armor so that means no vibe raynham he fought luke cage and he won and it wasn't even that hard he did it with nerve strikes and pinches so keeping that fight in mine ray no matter what else james says you gotta remember that luke went down by nerve strikes and pinches from a superior martial artist and bane is one of the best fictional martial artist ever created he is smarter stronger faster and knows more martial arts than back black panther he's so fast i've said that he could dodge bullets so he could easily get the jump on luke cage and a speed fight in my opinion he's so strong he contained bullets and he's also withstood full attacks from beings like funder and enlightening who are supernatural forces in the dc universe that's essentially like withstanding thors lightning and hey james and our controversial episode you had such a great points with the martial arts of superman i wanted my hat to you with that man i decided to return the favor of this episode the bane is a master in dozens of.

"He pain that he's receiving from bullet stab wounds whatever that's all increase again he's a monster for the regular vanilla human or somewhat somewhat super powered character that bain has to fight baynes absolute nightmare so let's compare that to luke cage cage is six ways porn and twenty five pounds he can currently lift this into marvel wicky he can currently depressed fifty tonnes lucchese so strong or strong up to punch through and break susan storms shields her invisible shields he can actually hit those breakthrough them being can't do that luke age almost invulnerable black panther attack luke cage and couldn't hurt him with regular attacks martial art style attacks now bay may be able to survive being shot a certain number of times before it slows them down but bullets of almost all types even phase luke cage as can take a blast from gun at point blank range to this other way daredevil already mentioned punch through cage broke his hand so when was last time batman broke his hand or hurt himself by hitting bain right didn't happen lou cage also possesses superhuman speed and come up to forty miles per hour that is way batch of the bane his strengthens legs nabil's him to leap in a manner similar to the halt so we can jump super high and super far further and higher than being can oh and he's got a healing factor because you know it's marvel everyone's gotta healing factor which enables him to heal from injuries like i said three times faster than the normal human being and if that wasn't enough lou cage has superhuman stamina right so cages muscles generate less batik toxins than the muscles ordinary humans by the way that's another marvel thing they always say less petite toxins right now this helps pull up in saint feats of lettuce despite his huge mass like the time he effortlessly carried a semi tractor trailer over seven city blocks because he couldn't get the engine to start properly so what's interesting about bain is that at best he is approximately one tenth the overall superhuman power that luke cage.

"Luke cage walks the mean streets in harlem looking keep the peace sweet christmas little fuzzy no he's being watched by the masked martial artist bane dodd lewis's doc the doc i was born in it now the two will face off no holt bar victor takes the spoils who will prevail doubter and welcome to another episode of who would win a show that completely ignores anything important happening in the world and instead focuses on a fictional battle between two characters worlds comic scifi and fantasy i'm one of your hosts james the and as always i'm joined by alabama's version of roseanne barr jay sandline jay what's happening what's happening with you and why do people compare you to roseanne barr will say can you say i don't see it i know i think it's because we both like fried foods we both liked to write and we both won the lottery but no one ever talks about it that makes sense i actually thought it was because as you told me i think in comments before you're secretly attracted to large overweight men named dan hays correct did you did you go into facebook profile messages i did about the win i do i do and by the fact that i know that you like you know all this about roseanne means i've actually just revealed that i have really watched quite a few episodes of roseanne i mean if you can watch gilmore girls and just own that i can own the fact that i've watched roseanne.

"Think if that happens and or even if they get close to it i think it's going to get it it it it obviously will convey carry with a a huge message about where the united states is culturally right now and i i for one could understand african americans loving this because here it is is that there's an actual figure he row superheroes superpowers cement the first one in american history who's black luke cages of tv series luke cage there's admitted to a movie luke cage was good i watch luke cage and that was michael what's at the coulter is the actor who is fabulous i loved him in a tv show called ringer he got killed off for the fourth episode but i still likely it didn't matter it was a cw series in the last long with the premise was fabulous i liked it not mike holders great but that was tv luke cage black superhero marvel blacks this and apparently the production is through the roof awesome the special effects are awesome uh the cast it and it's about a it's about a fictional african country that has secret great routes got a secret resource that will save the world from every problem is and it's called the suv em or some such made up name and it's about everybody in the world trying to get hold is little country and throw everybody out of its they can take over and this guy defeats the world the black panther and it's got great stance and everything i can imagine this thing is a humongous matter a pride based on some things you have told me over the years and so hundred seventy million dollars now if it reaches one hundred seventy million dollars whatever it reaches it isn't going to be on the black audience alone there aren't enough exclusive black moviegoers debate to generate that kind of money so this has.

"Debre in wall really solid karen page character of foggy nelson played exquisitely like it's very very good very very dark and in season to came out and it was kind of halfandhalf you had john burnt also punisher and then you had a lecturer in the back of the season and most people including me agreed that it was very very good when the punisher was center stage but once electra hit show basically fell off a cliff in the back half a season to was not very good at all mike cultures luke cage which was the third show that was released i skipped over to but i did intentionally i'll get there in second luke cage was more of a gritty show odd they're all gritty but this one took place in harlem and it really wasn't nearly as much about the kind of outlandish superheroes stuff that we have seen in some of the others and i thought my colder very good is luke cage still is has the right look rosario dawson did a great job there she has in her appearances in all of these shows luke cage was a success another example where if it had been ten episodes probably would have gotten another letter great higher or at least would have gotten a plus on it that's a story with all of these superhero shows for net flakes they go thirteen episodes and they shouldn't like they feel like they have to because house accord started the trend and it was thirteen episodes in the most of the shows are thirteen but they don't have to be ozark was ten should have been like three for some concern of not backing off that review of way.

"Matt murdoch dour jessica jones dour luke cage very serious guy he's a easa you know a friendly guy but he's serious and he's got a lot of weight behind him both physically but also emotionally and in terms of his personality and danny rand is lighter in that way and it was annoying in the iron fist series because all he's doing is going around just insisting he's awesome uh and it just does it it doesn't play hido there's nothing to back it up but if that energy is matched with better choreography a n bounced off of some of these characters i think that there is hope here i really got him nervous about it but i'm really really really hopeful that maybe this could be the place where they finally figure out how to use i hope so and you know at man here's here's the one like little little super nerdy wish i have for them on the show is on ironfist right they had the device of danny iran's ipod four like maybe three scenes was the soundtrack iit was such a cool idea that they really whipped on in the show because they think they looked and and luke cage is so driven by the music live performances in the episodes by bands and and by rappers idol that was amazing and it and it set a definite tone for the world of luke cage it's the same new york but it was it was harlem you know it felt different right and so and so and then you've got guardians of the galaxy right where they've got started lord's mix tapes which have been like a very cool thing to kind of come out of that movie franchise and so i think they're like okay so he's so his ironfist.
