"Leonard is a destroyer of worlds right now on the official home of your L. A Clippers. What is funny Man Clippers in New Orleans taken on the pelicans. Tip time is just about 23 minutes away. Welcome back into Clippers Countdown. I'm not a Muslim coming up. You do hear from Cole, I Leonard will go back to know Eagle and get to an MBA out of town Scoreboard but first Let's get to your injury report As we reported earlier. No Pat Bev he is not with the team on this road trip didn't play in the second half Thursday night against Gold State Warriors. He left that game with right knee soreness. As for the pelicans, former Clipper JJ Reddick is questionable with a hamstring injury Here was Luke Conard, who had eight points. Think they all came in the fourth quarter, the last 12 minutes of that game Thursday night, But here he wasn't practice Friday. Luca Nard, speaking with the media. Luke has gone this afternoon. Good. How you doing? I'm well, Thank you. Luke. Will you talk about the last say month and a half for you, Um, kind of been in and out of the rotation and trying to improve working to improve your game, And then you finally got some opportunity to play there right before the Ended right before the break. And then you've got some time last night. Talk about this. How you been attacking the game and your mentality the last several weeks of the season? Yeah, I think for me, um, there's just getting in the gym as much as I can and just trying to get a rhythm back. You know, just getting that consistent work in that I need to get in and just saying ready almost as much as I can. So I've been in the gym a lot and don't get in early sand late, and this is just being ready with my name is called. So, um No, I've been. I've been working hard and you know, just just trying to stay physically and mentally involved as much as I can. And you know, just just be his life. Then, as I possibly can, and the joy that the team the team has for other success on the court, we see a lot of guys celebrating high fiving on us under a bench. One other players is having a good success out there. Could you elaborate on that is, um Could you just elaborate about that team that teamwork that team atmosphere that the joy that you guys were having with each other? You know, we're having a great time. I mean, it's always good when you're winning, especially but even you know, we had that rough stretch right before the break. And you know you guys were upset about it. But at the same time, you know it's we know that we can learn from it. And we know how much better we could be just because of Things that that we didn't go through. So we have a close team. We got guys that they're locked in, and they're happy for each other when they do well, you know if one guy doesn't want the whole team as well, so Is and we just gotta keep wanting. So you know, Like I said, we're locked in. We have a really good group guy said or cheering for each other. You know what they're doing Good things, And that just says a lot about how special this group really is. A look. Well, welcome to the second half Reggie and quiet yesterday. We're both talking about that. This team is still learning each other and you guys air have a lot of room to grow. In what ways do you do You think that's true? And And do you like your position, considering that you guys are still kind of in his learning process? Oh, yeah. I mean, given the circumstances of this year, it's such a different year with just everything that's been going on on Ben. You know, adding some new guys to the team, You know, new coaching staff. You know, there's a lot of new things going on, but we've we've had a good year. So far. We really have you know, we we've won games and You know, I was like you said, you know, we know that there's room for improvement. We know we have to be better, especially come playoff time. But no, we're taking this time now to really work on the things that we need to work on and on, guys air her dialed into that you guys want to be better so Yeah, you know, learning each other, Um, you know, it doesn't takes time. But I think we're starting to get that rhythm. And, uh, you know, connectivity that that we need and, uh, you know, it's It's been good for us. So it Z. You know, when the other night was a good way to start this second half of the season and We're just looking forward to the next one coming up, and now we're just looking forward to get better Look good to see you. This afternoon of you guys got the pelicans coming up in New Orleans, and that team has more Duke players and I can count. I'm sure you followed a lot of those guys. From JJ who won't play, but you know you're still there. And Zion's obviously an all star. What have outside have you been to follow those guys a save? Come along in their careers and and, you know, especially for someone like Zion. Like what kind of connection do you have with him? Even though he's only been in the league for a couple of years. Yeah, I mean, it's always good to see, you know, do guys do well in the lead on especially guys that you've you've had some communication with an interaction with and, you know, kind of developed a relationship with so you know, I I I obviously didn't play was I on? But when I was at Duke, you know he was in and now and you know, taking visits and it's just It's good to see you see, guys do well, you know? Coming from, you know, seeing guys in high school getting recruited to do another stars in the N B A. You know, it's crazy. So, um, you know, I'm proud of the You know, the guy's doing well and wait. We have Ah, big group in the N B. A and you know, we we stick together and we root for each other. So, like I said, it's always good to see to see those guys do well. There was loot Kenard That was Friday after practice and because I mentioned Pat Dev is gonna be out. Well, next man up mentality. That is something. The head coach Tyronn Lue actually talked about pre game tonight. One of the things he's like most about this team is just how guys have been able to step up and without Pat Bev Lukken are could get some more reps some more minutes out there..

"LaPhonso Ellis, Kevin winner with us as well. The latest pick Josh Green going 18 to the Dallas Mavericks. And that leads the leaves the Brooklyn Nets on the clock at 19, but we teased going to break Adrian War, Janowski is reporting there is when we went to break. It was a two way trade. Now it's a three team deal. Brooklyn sending that 19 pick initially to the Clippers with Landry Sham it going to Brooklyn and then Detroit is sending Luke Conard to the Clippers. So the Detroit Pistons, PJ will now have three picks in the top 19. They took Killian Hayes at number seven will require the 16th pick Isaiah Stuart. And they'll be on the clock with Brooklyn making the pick and 19 more on that coming up in a moment and the Miami heat at number 20, But we are pleased to welcome right now on Yucca. "Show this is an important step to Capgemini asks on a Friday night a lot of things going on but what I like to let everybody know is that nepotism is huge share of the bear McCarty show on WJR what do I mean by that while this next gas I have to hand over to my partner Shamba you shouldn't enter data stuff because they got history and we love history here on their cars so shiny B. yeah one of one of the best in the business my broadcast partner for a for a few football games for Wayne state not white state basketball as well rod beard does a tremendous job for the Detroit news kind enough to join us here on seven sixteen WJAR offers small rod really appreciate you taking the time and pretty much hot off the presses of people haven't checked it out yet rod had a piece on on what is next for Troy weaver and and rod let's start there I love your analogy about sorting out the laundry I I want to send people obviously to go read your article but what a great out knowledge about sorting out your your laundry yeah it it's some it's just a weird sort of spy three coming in but it's good timing for the pistons because of where they are with the salary cap and where they are with sort of a young roster and a lot of guys coming up with free agency in in the draft pick of course in the top five potentially so they have a lot of things to really sort out but that's what it feels like it is what you gonna do with Blake Griffin what are you gonna do with Derrick rose what do you do with Luke Conard and some of the other young pieces that's what he's walking into is is having to figure out how to sort this roster out the traffic in free agency and everything so it's all just first thing I thought of you got all the stocks of different colors and and you got this thing over here and you can sort out different colors and and what goes in this store in that drawer that's what he's gotta do.

"Things going on in the world of Zion Williamson here the pelicans look like they'll be one of those six teams that are not in the playoffs right now will be invited into the campus like this right let's not call it a bubble campus like facility at Walt Disney World for the play in game to potentially get in two of the NBA post season with the sixteen teams that are there right now is the seeds one through sixteen even though it'll be eight Nate in the eastern Western Conference so that's one court issue he's dealing with and then there's another one that he might have to deal with as well a Florida state court judge on Tuesday denied pelicans rookie Zion Williamson's request to stay discovery and whether he was eligible under NC double a rules when he played that one season at Duke the Florida eleventh circuit court judge David Miller ruled that Williams and will be required to answer interrogatories and requests from admissions from attorneys representing Gino Fordham prime sports marketing who are suing Williamson for one hundred million dollars for breed their marketing agreement I can't hear that not saving the doctor evil voice Dr one hundred million dollars also does that mean I know some of the backstory he signed with that agency and then not long after that fired them so they weren't registered I believe that was what one of the issues they were registered with the NBA pretty fired them and they're suing him for a hundred million dollars and basically what they want him to answer on the stand in court is you know did your mom get paid the jury I did your parents ask for and receive the right financial money I mean a lot of different questions they went through a ton of questions it all had to do with money to get all fours I on to gold to do to play and he obviously doesn't want to answer that or try to get out answering that and he lost that part of the toll hi I am almost I think I'm with you traveling over there we're going to get there what will his camp filing an appeal against other trying to dispute this and all the ways but they essentially want to answer all these questions under oath to prove that he was not eligible this season he played essentially last month Ford's attorneys after I had to admit that his mother and stepfather demanded and received gifts right a money and other benefits from persons acting on behalf of the deed is and I keep end end also from people associated with Duke right and if you're looking for historical precedent here this is exactly how Reggie bush and they're having to get back as Ivan trophy and how U. S. C. basically got those victories and that national championship taken away because much in the same way that Reggie at that time had a deal in place with the agent and then when he got drafted in another agency came that was bigger and better he decided to go with them that agency in that agent felt spurned and leaked the information about it we paid for their parents house in San Diego that's how all of that got started so it's say the thing goes all the way which I think some people don't think it will that they'd settle you know what is what is you know the marketing prime sports marketing what do they take is a settlement if in fact it goes that way but but let let you say went all the way through inside had to go and stay on the stand today yes you know my my mother and stepfather got money from adidas and whoever blah blah blah it that would be I think the the collective reaction would be yeah okay I shocked the shocking part or the more highbrow raising parts going to be Duke coach K. were they involved coach K. now involved I still think people really think it's all going on but coach Kay's name to this because when you say Duke in basketball that's okay and we all talk about how cultures know everything going on soul to me Mike that would be the thing that would raise the biggest eyebrow if your money from shoe companies everybody's like yeah whatever next but if Duke was involved in giving out money or gifts for this I think that's going to be the thing yes rob pretty numb to the idea of athletes receiving large sums of money on this and quite frankly we're all pretty numb to a two thirds response because remember when this FBI probe started it was supposed to crack the bedrock of the NC two eight change everything about the weather yet nothing happened not at all again one of those programs in the F. B. I. what's K. Kansas and bill self's I mean let's be as they were the number one team in the country who heads went dark launching dollar bills in their opening what was once siloed on brand basically every basically just told everyone to believe double bird of the entire crowd in that movie which was awesome to watch but you're right like I I don't think I I think the most shocking thing would be as I found out there was a I never took any money yeah that would be the most shocking thing at this point you're able to get someone like sign on services for free what's interesting is the dew point because I heard the money don't bring up it he believes that people largely to do excuse the things that do does and normalize it meeting one and done to discourage on college basketball changing the way we play the game but also do does it with a bunch of guys well this just the way of the world as you pointed out and he predicts a similar outcome with this I'm not sure because many people love to hate Duke and I feel like the rest of the college basketball world at large would love nothing more than the idea to point at their golden goose in my they're not so easy you're just like us no it rolled it up in the box just like us I feel like that's ultimately going to be part of this is that's the part I can't look away Duke is one that everyone loves to hate like you wouldn't just Christian later in that document like that's a school that is one of the ones that just fun to hate I feel like this is an easy spot to just hang the pinata well I I I guess the question is what we think is actually going to happen if that happens right because what whatever came of that FBI investigation with Kansas bill self nothing's happened well I mean this as far as I don't know if this would be the FBI associate or cyan actually or if it was found out that Duke was involved in giving money I mean the NCAA if approved right will crack down on right it it's sanction it sounds like vacated wins it sounds like potential sanctions because we know and the job will be and I know it was already in our Google Dr well good thing that sign on and I do team didn't make a final four win a national championship they don't gotta take down any banners in all this process from that team but yeah going for what that would mean I goal I even go past due I guess it's coach K. coach K. is is has a reputation is listed it's it's deserve deserve from professional athletes when he when he's working with team USA yeah to what he's done at Duke I mean his his reputation is is solid right this would be a shake up there there's no doubt about this give me even more than that it's so should we do because coach K. is the name he is the name in college basketball and I think it it just depends on that reputation as a basketball coach as a leader as all those things but we know for so many people it's the notion it maybe this is more the fan base that the idea that it's been done the right way people love to to throw all right way at you when they do something and if that's part of the reason you respected not just the basketball reasons which should be easy and probably not going to be affected by this because you still go out there and coaching when with the right with you guys have the exactly right maybe you potentially allegedly paid money for I mean I got on campus but what everyone else then lose that with that cracked the image for some people if part of why he's so special is the whole right way thing which means a lot which means a lot less to me in the ways that we're talking about but it might but I am but I agree with you that people all of a sudden see see see yeah your your I don't believe but you're just like us vice US so the question then becomes let's let's say that happens is going to shake up anything major in college basketball I think is wrong heading to pay for that you know that the likeness and image anyway they're just ahead of the game I I think I think let me tell you they're probably behind the game for what's been going on for for years and decades but this would be an interesting one because now you have the thing where are you if you or someone on the job side of things or you are someone pros just you know this and you choose to excuse it and say well everybody is doing it you're tacitly endorsed pay for play like not even just the N. I. L. stuff that we're talking about this is this is this would be for one pay for play were it to occur this would be a bit sensually a retainer fee Hey come here will give you X. amount of money let's not play the selective outrage card right if you're outraged that it happens in Arizona or if you think it happens in Arizona if you go to Kansas you can't be like yeah but due to different no you either mad about or you're not yeah if it's a strong pick and choose which which principle you want to apply depending on whether or not you like the school yeah what about rates no thank you it just interesting how this all continues to March towards what could eventually be a pay for play conversations make no mistake once we go down this and this name image and likeness road yeah it's not going to end there no and by the way just real quickly science tourney because I use this word yesterday this issue is a complete canard the complete red herring we believe that as a matter of law the statute bars that contract I did not in art okay sounds sounds like a Midwest grocery store you know that is Mr you know academic all American a canard I know I can save big I think you know it's like a full suit up yeah it's it's not true no I used yesterday I do have is that we go to eighty two games this whole thing's been a canard a fake what if I told you I hear canard in consecutive days and twenty one what if I told you that Luke Conard was actually American basketball player but you're going to say hello our team the Detroit Pistons who knows what to do and loop canard we come full circle so all I mistake many times but coming up next for one NFL division the more they change the more they stay the same we'll get to that level in your voice goes up like that without real sports we gonna treat everything else as a sport at home school those kids.

"I'm sorry have a great day because I've got a ton a show for you on this Wednesday I'm Jim Rome on live I'm in southern California I'm still on our southern California based videos I've got a Washington wizards head basketball coach Scott Brooks coming up in about twenty minutes before I get there I have a another head coach the head coach of the Detroit Pistons in his second season with pistons he was the NBA coach of the year and twenty eighteen he was an NC double a champion as a player and NBA champion as the assistant he led the pistons to the playoffs last season he is a friend of the program he is Dwane Casey when there is a lot to cover but first off how are you and your family doing right about now we're doing fine doing well my kids have died we got a young dog the new dog so everybody's excited me happy it but everybody's healthy GM to these crazy times I like I could hear it's going to have you back so you're an NBA head coach which obviously is amazingly stressful and all consuming job so when you have some time like this are you continuing to grind away at work in breaking tape and things like that or I try to unplug a little bit well a little bit of both yeah I mean you know it's been this year was a a Cup you're forcing the fact we decided to go into a rebuilding direction so that was stressful but I'm kind of makes my time between watching some of our game tapes watching some prospects in the draft and also spending some valuable family time that you know you we conduct elect that want you when you're in the grounds of season twenty Casey joining us I'll talk about that rebuild one seconds but if you were to go back to March eleventh it was the day the league suspended activities that night you were coaching against Philadelphia the story goes that the fourth quarter your team's athletic trainer came to you in the middle of the action any talk to you what did he say and what was your reaction well Jim came up to me and said during the game I think was the third of third into the start close in the third quarter she Cikgu deployed it had been friends with it's Google bear with Utah and they spent some time after the game you know with each other in Detroit and this was like a week later maybe the wins this Saturday nights will play Utah and would play to let Alfie on Wednesday night I think it works so he comes in and says Hey we gotta get sick out of the game go bear just tested positive that's two wall wall wall you know and and so we took him out of the game and you know we had no clue and they had no clue about contacts how you catch or anything we're very up the you know have said about that so we got him out and then blow me all he comes to me and says that you can put him back in because you know he's already been out there if somebody had contacted me use is easy that you know he's going to give it away anyway so we put it back in the game he played the rest of the fourth quarter in the end he was tested next day and wouldn't you know tested negative for which you know was it was it was a tough thing to understand because we had no clue the protocol how to handle a situation like that and you know since then we all been educated in and the one player that did come down with it was Christian will who is just public so I'm not sending anything out of school so but but he's doing a Christian is doing great now he's back working out you know totally healthy and but it was a scare because we had no clue what was going on how to handle it well you know with that type of thing so you it was a scary night that night distance head coach Dwane Casey is joining us no doubt I would imagine that was really scary and then you were at home and you can't be selfish question from your wife and your kids right you did you live in your basement for the next two weeks like what was that time like for you and what you do well the thing is you know because you know just because Chris that tested positive and also the possibility been exposed to go bear with since we played them everybody you know the doctor advises go into quarantine it was tough on families upstairs I was downstairs my wife would come in and be a knock on the door and in the downstairs bedroom and put food at the door I would get it and put my dish out so I've never been to jail GM so you know six I can imagine what that felt like with you know it was kind of a lonely feeling you're down there by you by yourself and you know we stayed I stayed away from my family that was probably the most difficult time during this is B. S. quest against away from them fear in the fact that you know I didn't want definitely didn't want expose my family to the virus if I had a blast cult situation tough times but once we got out the we have we've had some you know quality family time we talk is when Casey and you point out wood has been declared healthy and now everybody's waiting for word on the future of the season itself so most players in league of course do not have access to courts and facilities at that moment so how are you and your staff helping you guys stay in shape and stay right mentally well we stand together stand in contact with the different soon the difference ways dome by text phone calls are an athletic trainers got the a lot of our players equipment to get you know take to their condos to the houses and gives every player a different program to work out with it and you know we check in each coach has two or three guys I go through the entire roster you know once a week or so a couple days a week to touch base with the guys either text about phone calls so that way we do they stay in touch and stay up on what they're doing they have to report back to the train of their weight sending details of the work outs back to back to us and so stand in touch as best as we can to in this in this difficult but so far all the guys working out on their own sticking to the program and waiting to see what the league tells us when Casey my guest you know this in and of itself is challenging but then when you think about what's going down with the team you lost Blake Griffin to season ending surgery Andre Drummond was traded Reggie Jackson was bought out this is when you're an extremely tough minded person but when you have that kind of change in such a short period of time was there ever a feeling a man this is not what I signed up for well a little bit you know you you think about that of course but then we have a great owner Tom gores who's always fought and been a gift no rebuilding and re re shuffling the deck so it was tough for him but once he and I talked in this sense you know until we all sit down and they had a conversation about you know let's restructure rebuild the team it was our understood it but it's difficult you know you go in prepared the team to compete and to to play but you know that whether it's used or any experience whatever it is get you beat it toward the end of the game but some silver lining to come out of it we did you know give Christian would he's his development as as servers C. as Hailu has come come on and and developed so we've got some some silver lining out of that by playing the young players giving them a chance to develop through through this is phase of our our rebuild situation you know we tell our rebuilding a tooth when I wonder when you took over in Toronto the team is coming off a twenty two win season you know what it takes to build a team pretty much up from the ground what is the window what is the worst we can take from those years in Toronto did you know applying Detroit yes what you mentioned Jim your patience it it you know when you're coming from Dallas we just won the championship in Dallas and going to Toronto which was rebuilding we had a younger market rose I was in in in a you know Jose called wrong still there but Andrea Bargnani so we we were still young and building building the team that way but it taught me patience GM understanding god's gonna make mistakes you know you want to win you want to compete you progress the team to win because you don't wanna you definitely want to build that foundation as far as teaching your players how to win but you you have a heavy dose of patience and humility when you when you go through that because you know guys going to make mistakes you live with them well you can't get into the car when they do do that but you see the the you take the silver lining down in every situation is what I would learn that it's not going through that I see now your age what we're in the same situation we were in Toronto young in experience trying to develop a young player as we were allowed to Marty Rosen and there is there is a light at the end of the tunnel because if I hadn't been to that I would have you know probably he's been far more depressed and and download everyone but I I do see that we are taking the same recipe that we had in Toronto to Wayne Casey my guest one final thought for a Detroit to me is a great great sports town it's an extremely proud city what city that is not have a lot of success to cheer in sports of late so what would it mean to get this team back up to the level where it's competing for championships the way it was roughly twelve years ago no no question generally and again the fans here were calling for their work you know in all the continents until they were telling him to call it shows that we talk about rebuilding retooling and I kept saying it's painful I been through its route I know how painful it is and you got to have patience it's not a magic wand that you wave over the team in a while they become a great players it takes time it takes prostration it takes failure to go through it but they are great fans and one thing I've said about the true right they know what good basketball looks like they've had hall of fame coaches Larry brown Chuck Daly Rick Carlisle all here you know going through this in through the city so they know what good basketball looks like the three championships they won so but so they understand which makes it a little bit better because when you put a team together they know what real basketball looks like and and that's a big big that's a plus and a curse because their expectations but the fans have been great because they they did they understand they know and they know what they want so it's been it's a challenge but our coaching staff is enjoying it enjoy the teaching the working the development you know that's why I watch a lot of this draft just to see what we have what we need to try to grow and the good thing about it Jim we don't have to go down to the tune up to the studs to rebuild because we do have Blake Griffin coming back we do have great energy and experience with Derrick rose here Luke Conard is grown with yours on this bill so we're not at rock bottom so we kind of a middle bill.

"Okay if you haven't gotten your cause box yet go check it out now before us out. I can tell you firsthand you arguing so I started listening to the views again of US podcast on February because like you said I was traveling and driving a lot and stuff and so it was kind of. It's kind of weird because even David David tonight in a sense kind of went through a break up because we were together every single day. And it's just so weird like listen to people that you were so close with but you don't know anymore I can. I can disassociate can look from an outside perspective. And just appreciate the PODCAST. I ever watched the blogs honest kind of not really boring narcissistic to say because I'm wasn't in them but they do. They do great so I'm not saying like he went down I just. I wasn't interesting more semi be nurses tickets I was like. Oh I don't care I got Hella Borey and whatever and so but I still listen to the views. Oh my God so then I was like okay. I don't like Natalie and a lot like why don't you like her? And she's like one of the main reasons that whole video thing went up because David was like Natalie said it was okay to put threesome joke and I was like who the fuck is literally. Natalie never talked literally is probably nobody cared about Natalie and then let Susan having more females to put in oil. It's Natalie in there and whatever and David can make anyone pop in and now people hate Natalie again because she's boring a ship but anyways so fucking Natalie's co-hosts now. I was like what the and nobody likes it. I I read gossip threads. I regard threads on so many people and nobody likes that. It's the worst thing it was Jason and David and now this girls in there. And it's just like the worst dynamic. She has absolutely nothing to add pasta. Still listen because I love to hate watch things that annoy the shit on me and so I listen. I'm allowing like and I mean. Listen because I do like I do like David. David like she misses David. I really love David like I loved him. And that's what he's talking successful because he's charming and sweet. He has stuff to add input and whatever but the podcast man who you need. You guys needed gentleman nationally. We get it you can put on the blog and stuff like that. And she's roommate talk with her and all the ship but the hot cash does not add anything. Podcast could emphasize how really interesting someone as a really boring from what it is and that just emphasizes how really boring she has. But yeah done doing blogs now. 'til ISOLATION'S OVER. I guess is what they said on the podcast and Jason's really missing it and David like enjoying the breaker whatever I do find it interesting and again. I want everyone to succeed. I've not there's no I don't cheer when someone goes down or whatever but it's interesting to watch my theory which is once. David starts stops making blogs which he will eventually whether it's this year or next year five years he's going to stop or the group is going to disband whatever and it's really interesting to watch and I said this multiple times I'll say the gas not just David Group but it's groups. In general from beginning. There was joy and his group of like Miss Glimmer Artsy and Luke. Conard and strawberries. Seventeen and Joey is the only one still popping where strawberries seventeen whereas Luke conard whereas who did I Miss Glamour. All those people there was even other people. I can't remember in that group and it's like why would they go? They just fall off without their leader. Alan I'm not throwing anyone but sh- sh- you know like for instance. Shame popping. Always Love Shane but his friend group too and I'm not saying that to throw shade because they were friendly to me nice to me and stuff but if you can't sustain something on your own in the leader leaves then what are you going to do and I say this to say this you know establish something on your own with and I guess this is where maybe you know. Say I disconnect Kinda connected to me. Jason is so fucking funny like Jason is like the talent I believe I do David Chiu but Jason has the talent of anyone in that group but hanes never established himself outside of David's. Little Buddy you know for lack of a better word just his little sidekick or whatever and I'm like but you can do your own show. I had told him well before. He started touring on his own detour on his own. Because he was so reliant to David with the podcast dude on your own and very few people in that group have established themselves outside of David's friend outside of that their character in the blogs. It's like sad and then some have but you can really see now that he was not making the logs who's kind of falling in struggling without David and everything meal and even they're trying to put kind of David on the thumbnail with looms and stuff and make video calls. It's not the same and you know I see it with their main core people right now that they're struggling. I don't really like the Guy I don't know I don't like him because he did. He threw like she's talking shit about me but doing it without saying my name which I think is a little bitch move but Jeff. Wittig for instance in that group like you. Kinda did his own thing I mean he had his own thing kind of going and he kind of David in that group to kind of like propel his viewership on what he was already doing. So then he created that Jeffs barbershop and kind of made it this thing and he can. Kind of thrive now granted. He did already have going before that. He kind of just use them as a platform to get more viewers however the people that are getting all their views from David and not doing their own thing or trying to encourage. I'm sure she hates me. Whatever by I give it to her to be honest. She's she's parlayed her you know. She took her followers and viewers from David now gets her own through gaming and twitch and she's like so. I don't know I've always loved that check. I mean I feel like she's always like located me and we always kind of had like weird. I feel like we got like a fight or like drama. Feel like during a text message or something. I don't know I'm probably at drama. I don't know I don't I? Don't know but Loki. I've always really liked her and invited her. And she's she's obviously so beautiful but then to be able to parlay her following into something is cool initiatives big house. Now I live following her to be honest. I like her and I feel like toy respecting even respect Scott. I don't really follow him anymore. I don't know if he's like popping or not popping but like I kind of always respected him doing his music to just like trying trying to do something outside of David. Ober keep that David Hilbert friendship and for lack of a better word to use that to show off your thing your shits whatever. You're the things but I feel fulfill about pitting him 'cause I'm sure he's doing just fine but I'm saying like his views. Go from one million two million three million views per video with David and everyone in the thumbnail to now. He's by himself getting one hundred thousand views because he never ever established his channel as his channel. It's always been established as David Dobrich third channel or David Natalie side channel or whatever. The case is or showing Cochran is. He's always relied on other people for his channel. And not in the way. David has because David Edits and has a style. I don't know that sounds like I'm trying to throw shade and be shady and all the champagne. I don't know it was. It was something else thinking I was just thinking. Oh my God please get off Jason. You know maybe now establish establish themselves. And maybe he'll figure out his thing but I don't know you guys. I'm a piece of Shit anyways to.

dog ended up in Florida my goodness somehow down there cold D. day when it was called hazel by its original owner was in a shelter put the picture on the can lead he sees the picture of the king on social media somehow proved to the shelter this is her dog hazel and now this lady who's in Minnesota after losing the dog in Iowa get the dog back three two one half years later from Florida that is all types of crazy yeah in every single way let's start here how does the dog do you think get from high with a Florida hitch I don't have thumbs I can't imagine a dog can survive on its own instinct in like eating garbage and also made my night right animal I mean they're domesticated dogs are they still have the you can scrounge for things so you think this dog was smart enough to scrounge along the way every stop and make his way all the way to Florida I mean unless the dogs like fifteen hundred miles the dog was tied up outside of a business or something and then just disappeared so maybe was just straight taken with I think it could be kidnapped so maybe was taken and brought to Florida and then given up some of that explains the track dog napping feels more likely specially somebody going to Florida you can't trust anyone in Iowa I mean they'll just they'll take anything that's not new found no data you could try to everybody you can't trust anybody going to Florida from Ireland "The guys what is up. Welcome back to the dish with Trish. We are back in the first episode of the New Year. It is twenty twenty and the I guess of the New Year is author youtuber musician per noor designer and a friend that I've known for Very Long Time Joey Kristof off. Also I okay because obviously I know so much about you obviously just knowing you through the years where I was like researching earlier and I was like. Wow you really do everything lake you know everything like not only do you write books you write memoirs fiction like all this stuff. It's so crazy and I just I'm so excited to have you on here because I feel like we've never obviously we're friends. We don't sit down rail yo you know but I have so many questions because you're so you're so private relatively for a youtube. I think you're very private. I don't know anything even now when we were talking I was like very. I think he used to be really open. Used to blog. And even when you've logged. I don't know if your necessarily open not to this that you are all you take your like your emotions. You don't do you deal with okay so that's already getting have already your emotions stomach that you talk about it online and stuff like that but do you just choose not to share it because it's like something you just deal with like privately and I don't want people to know all this about me or I pick and choose the types of things I think especially you like issues with my mom. I feel like that's the one thing that like I. I'll be okay to like talk about bring up situations And that's where I get like super emotional Also like health issues and stuff like that. That's been something that Oh get real with tak about. There's definitely something so I guess I've just kept privately. I think because I put so much out there and sometimes like it can feel too to much especially There's this one time we're like fans when I was daily bogging like some hired a private investigator find out where he lived Someone like shut up in the house looked like a skull on my doorstep so like things like that really shocked me back from like being able to share. That's what I wondered. I you've never burnt out. You've been on Youtube. I think longer than me. What two hundred six or something? He doesn't seven seven seven so seem and so how you haven't gotten a burnt down. I was wondering burnell but I feel like when you burn out because I was doing daily on two channels. I feel like my was just like oh moving now to like or a week instead of of seven or like I dunno like little chunks will you're like thriving now what. What was the resurgence? Because I know for me. Let's let's go attack. They feel like people need to know more about so. Joey started out as a logger. I know I've known you I and like probably two thousand nine. You're logging every single day and you got really popular really quick and I would attributed to the friends you hung out with. What do you attribute it to? No I I kind of agree with that. I mean I heard to the time I don't I think two thousand twelve when my channel started growing pretty rapidly and it went from like three hundred thousand two million alien like really fast. It did start out with like I hung out with like back in the day. It was like Luke Conard. He was dating Ingrid Nelson Power. Couple of take power grew. You ended up by together. It's still a fan of this. Era was like the third wheel the entire time but I would say like English the biggest at the moment and she clogged with me when I had thirty thousand subscribers and I just left my Channel that I was with like my best friend we have channeled together. I love until I left that and I just WanNa poke my own thing and so her colliding with it was definitely like my intro into like getting newer viewership But I honestly think it was KLOPP rating with like Zoa and the British crew. That will really really you set me up to like sixty well. I wondered that too. Like how come you sustain because all those people I mean not even to be shaded. 'cause I loved them so much but like how come you you were able to sustain. And then they kind of just fell to the wayside. I don't know I guess I got lucky but I also think maybe I just kept trying new things. I think a lot of people just get stuck in one style of video that they make and they just get people get bored. See so you like. Do you think people like watching like the thing. That's your channel. Is this like I find it interesting. I find you and like Shane and cooling interesting. Because it's like it's not necessarily that you would change with the Trends but you guys just change in general just evolve on your own not even necessarily with your friends. I don't feel right now. You're doing I mean you do a lot of puppy things now all right so like is that just because that's how you evolved. I mean I think that was just like a moment in my life away from the now. Yeah but I think it's amazing because you were like getting millions of views on puppy video shocking. I don't understand how you find these things. I guess that's my question. That's the biggest question I have because I look at you and you yeah you go up and down but she always sustained popularity. It's like how do you know what's gonna Ha or when something hits. How do you know how to like push on it over and over like honestly? That wasn't even the plan I was just like I was planning on starting daily Wagner game because I missed it so much and then it just so happened at the same time like my dog was pregnant gave birth earth and then I was like okay. I can't do every video. Like be titled About Puppies because then like what happens when he joined the puppies and then two two videos supposed to keep going with that is literally became like a puppy channel and kind of screwed myself over because now the puppies are older like well. Now what do I want to do on that channel Some still figuring that out is youtube. Your main priority at the moment. Yeah I think that's kind of like the the main source of everything. Yeah put gives me the opportunity to write books and create shows and do all the things that I love if you could pick one thing. It's like focused on unlike. Would it. Because you're really good at producing music videos obviously short films and you're obviously reality series if you could focus if you only could do one thing. Oh It'd be like like SPF tonight. We can't talk about that right because you don't know if we're GONNA have another season or go no I mean I can talk about past seasons. Oh my God okay how how this I don't know either. It's like how because I've been on just as long as you. I think we know a lot of the same people. How do you get into these things? I asked the same question to Jeffrey. You guys are very go on like how do you even get into getting a reality show manifestation hunting really really big. Oh my God I I mean. I've been told that I'm like a master manifester and I think it's just like I just like go for the things that I love and I feel like you're like that as well. We're not as powerful as you like. I can't GAM ma you've been you talked about your crystal jewelry and I remember it like boom. It happened like it was crazy or I remember. You wanted a certain quality of clothing and then boom you got it and I was like wow. That's I I agree to a certain degree great like manifestation but you have to like talk to somebody I thought yeah sure. I think it's just knowing that you can't do everything in your own. It's just finding those people to partner with that like can make those dreams come true but also like just knowing that you shouldn't put limitations on yourself and I think growing up I I had stepped out who you pretty much told me that anything was possible and I think a lot of kids grow up like feeling like they can only reach a certain potential or their life goals like to just sp a certain thing that always like been taught. So I think those limitations kind of screw people over yeah. I agree with that I think a lot of people in general general like even me at thirty one is like I can't do this now. I'm thirty one. You know I think knowing that you can do anything but I feel I feel also if you don't have those connections like where do you find find the the the hope to keep going to the. What is the motivation going? Yeah I don't know I think it's just the passion if you have the passion also don't ignore an answer like keep trying till you can't try no Mar.. I love that junior passionate about all. These is projects which is crazy. Like you're so divided. How do you focus your? How do you show passion to each projects? I think over the I get overwhelmed. UH-HUH I know. I think that's maybe the happens. And maybe why like my mental state isn't the best because like I try to juggle so many things at once but it's all things that I love so I like make time for it but like I gave the night for example that's just like that's number one priority so that takes my full focus in my all energy and I feel like something's kind of get left behind in that time period Because that takes like take months of the year middle your whole year and also like your like your partner. Danielle like he's also very heavily involved with that so like doesn't that take away time from like your guys like life or is that is that your life is working together. I mean as a youtube I feel like our lives are just one big blend. There's no personal life in like youtube life. It's all just one life so would you consider him somewhat of a business partner to Daniel. Yeah no no. Don't work well together at all. The heat produces there's a lot of that right produces onset So that's only really like a week. Like show is all pre production so it's all like planning and when we film it's like it's all whatever happens happens. so He's more of like the just person onset who it make sure everything is going well. I always wondered that because I know you as a film together. Obviously you're filming all the time. Yeah he was more involved as in like helping me films. Stop for my channel but we kept getting into arguments because he would want me to be a certain way like he would film a video so angered by Cam. Messed up or just be like my dumb cells so now you just are kind of separate on that which has been so much more healthy for us so long and I always wondered that too. I mean obviously my relationships come and go so quickly and I'm like how do you keep it together are being being a personal uber. Meaning you do share your personal life like how do you how does he keep it together. How do you keep it together? Like what is what do you guys like to gather all typing gets. Because I'm a Taurus. And I just I stick to comfortable. I'm just like you know what I am. Happy here. What's he what's his size? The secretary is which is actually like pretty much the opposite. It's like he wants to go and explore around a comfort ability. I love that got got married. You think you'd log it. Yeah for sure. How hundred percent? Wow See I even if I would log your wedding I don't know don't you being some things some things don't you want and this is coming on things but for that I'm planning on like I WANNA make it like a full like me. It'll be like I have a vision in my head. I want all the guests to arrive. In like a horse drawn carriage down into like a force twinkle lights and I'll be dressed up as a prince and people will arrive and like the only way you can leave us by the horse drawn. Carriages just like super whimsical twilight by not wedding. That happened an bean. You really thought about it directive around going to happen but no plans. No you guys have been together. How long pipe years? How much longer will that's crazy guys?.

"Three nine three eight five were talking pistons basketball what is the best way the pieces can improve our I'm saying right now if they're outside of the top five in the Eastern Conference might as well just a state to plead with it let's get rid of it hi everyone and let's let's start fresh was built around say killing Luke Conard and and even throw in first round KO eight hundred nine two three nine three eight five let's speak withdrew again your were talking pistons basketball you heard the team payroll you've heard our thoughts on better ways to improve the roster what you what are you thinking right now in regards the Detroit Pistons well I want to start off by apologizing under Germany's them playing great to start he has but I think yeah I'm gonna go right back my old lady I think the best way to improve long term is well first yet I'm Andre perform at the same level as performing and now but then also trade deadline rolls around and we're probably gonna be between five games under in five games over five hundred minutes kind of who we are so we're gonna be in that range and hopefully under still playing great and then his value will never be higher you know you could get first round maybe a couple of draft picks an NBA ready guy you can get a lot around our government if he keeps this up at the deadline but he's gonna be asking for a lot this summer and I think that's gonna be a problem if he doesn't resign because I mean he's he's going to get a big payday just kind of a matter of where but that's that's the big thing for me Andre Drummond we can get him out before the end of the season just and I'm I wonder if we are you're listening on business where I just want to say he's playing out of his mind by buying a long term success here and I think you get the same thing for Blake to you know its value will never be higher than it is this year or last year the you know I mean he's towards the peak with value and I think if you can find a way to get something in return for him then great I adding links in and rescued can be tougher to do they're both to be freed insincere hauling most likely on his way out and Reggie as well unfortunately for us but add the alley right you out of contract we might try to trade him due to its health and other factors I don't know we could get much back for him it can be interesting look you mentioned seventy five percent of you know the contract is going to be off the books next year so it yeah Louis Brownlow canard couple other young guys but yeah that could definitely be a completely different roster in the next couple years and I'm seeing us I mean we're we're spending a hundred thirty two million dollars this year which includes Jack Smith's five point three I'm thinking about next year and if you're gonna blow it up doesn't have to be now I mean you can move links and you can move Reggie you could move Andre you can try to move Blake Griffin you could try to move market Markieff Morris Tim Frazier is gonna be off the books next year I mean you could build around a young it look in our Christian would say could and boy I kind of core core three kind of guys what you could do those kind of things you have the flexibility to spend time on those three guys if you blow it up right now and I think for the pistons fans across the state of Michigan who want to hear some of the positive really there's nothing taught does this be positive about we we haven't seen a fully healthy Detroit Pistons team through ten games this year and you're spending way too much money to let that happen injuries are of course going to happen an eighty two game season but when you bring in guys are thirty three years old and try to make them play eighty two games that's not gonna happen so what you do you blow it up you start fresh you build around eighteen year old so you could do boy yeah who may I say you look very good in his first NBA action down in the G. league last night you could do those kind of things do you have time to do so and I think the time is now for the pistons new to make a move like trading Andre and trading Blake Griffin I think that is gonna be right now is getting the best case scenario for the pistons quickly can I start like short term positivity that something thanks for this season if you want something to take away I think if you stay healthy this roster not looking for you to get this team we have right now if we stay together this year and Blake and heroes stay relatively healthy which seems like it's gonna be a lot to ask for it when you're ready back at some point I don't think it would be out of the question maybe compete in a playoff series this year if you keep going around but help is gonna be the biggest thing and yeah I'm ready even get a lot of hate and who knows what I'm worth it on your own today you guys plan really what just coming back problems probably more that we don't know about the you never know what's going on but if he's healthy he's you know he's not gonna hurt you at the point guard position many anti heroes another solid point guard it healthy he's been great when he's been in and then via Blake back we all know he does hundred clan got an all star level like there there are there is a reason to be excited about this year if that's the way you're looking at this I think we're taking a more of a big picture but the short term you know right in front of our faces fifteen could compete for a playoff series if all goes well yeah I mean I think that's the only thing that we're playing for this year kind of just to break that that playoff losing streak in if if we're really lucky which I don't think that will be competing for a playoff spot or anything a playoff series I should say but I mean that's about our ceiling I just want to see is break the streak of are going to keep it together for another year and even if you do so keep the band together that means Andres can be back next year plus about four five then you're gonna have to you know spend thirty million a year to keep boundary around and and al I don't see that happening I see the pistons come February trade deadline time what a through the eight seed what do you do whether the seven see what you do succeed same thing I think you have to blow it up regardless where they are and I'm I'm saying I think the issue the Boston Celtics data about seven years ago when they traded rajon rondo and they then they built from fresh and they got a lot of draft picks in the meantime and they develop the young group of guys I think that's the the person should do right now because you're a young guard who looks very fresh and Luke Conard a raw eighteen year old from France and say good employer are you gonna young twenty four year old solid backup center in Christian what you got guys you got pieces young pieces chic pieces but to look forward to thanks Bruce brown throw him in the mix you have a young group of guys like you it's exciting to watch for the next four five years and you can bring in guys could you can step up on draft picks if they pan out right if they don't then you can spend some big money I try to lure some free agency into Detroit but right now I think that short term excitement sure go out and compete for a playoff spot it's gonna be a fun your watch but a long term I'm thinking this is blown up come February yeah well the one thing that teacher Tom I don't know how well he is the lead Andre go and that you we know about their relationship someplace romantic so far up his caboose out of you'll be able to dig his way out by February drew that's what I'm hearing not at nine for those reports your eight hundred I two three nine three eight five we have to have a break we're talking pistons basketball when we come back I want to talk.

"Love that picks you still have a lot of upside Blake in Russell loan should be able to get you at least to the second round and that's the most excitement Detroit's ever had and maybe all you're saying back as Luke Conard I know pistons fans love Luke Conard but how good do you think he can be I'm not sure Minnesota if you can just find a way to maybe Sam Presti believes in awakens a little bit and are just thinks that ten million dollar less contract coming up here and just split that in no other real assets I think those make a lot of sense for both teams right now we're talking is that noble he is the host of the NBA four seasons podcast going to grab that on apple Spotify wherever you get your podcast for we'll continue this conversation on the other side I want to ask you about the Eastern Conference and how many teams you think legitimately have a chance to win the NBA championship you're listening to the daily parking show my name is Kerr there's a filling in live on CBS sports radio do you have frequent heartburn like the kind of heartburn were you stash antacid everywhere you feel like you got to have those chalky tablets just in case heartburn strikes if that's you know that there's an easier way to deal with heartburn right Prilosec OTC just one pill a day will last a full twenty four hours zero heartburn with policy go T.
