"Was so nervous in my mind because i don't know accents. I don't even know. Countries beverly yearly is london. And like i do. But i'm saying and i'm just like gosh i don't know london. He's like dot squawked. Or however londoners. Talk and i like what man they give me a fucking like bachelor doesn't even look like who is guy and you know. He's supposedly the best bachelor they've had but yet the the bachelor prior to matt was the one that didn't choose anyone so the bachelor fan base like they striked on by seasons not like my season flying under the radar because it was on strike because the bachelor fans were not having another bachelor because grad just not chosen. Anyone god remember wasn't so thank. God i mean. My kind of season flew under. I watched it. Oh i i totally remember you. Because i remember i dislike. I love that you have such dark brown eyes and blond hair to look. I love so i just remember thinking knew i knew who your dad. Yes you know revealed it and i mean i remember great details. I just remember that you that you want it in the yes. Yes so yes so when you're doing the whole thing like did you start to fall for him on all these dates so i will say once i kind of settled in and i was like you know at the end of the day you can do an interview with me and i'm able to speak to you normally because i'm used to cameras in this and not like a lot of people get intimidated or get produced or you know and they're not themselves so when you're in front of the camera with you know trying to get to know somebody and there's a camera in your face like i'm a soap opera actress. True and try trained. I can totally act like that is not there right and just have a conversation and make him in turn feel comfortable because he's uncomfortable and so i will admit that i feel like i had that in an on my favorite and i didn't drink or get drunk or y- easy obviously and so when you're in this zombie like go to london and meet his family and do the whole thing. So when you're in this bubble and this is all your focus on because everything else is wiped away. Yes you you you. Almost you start to become like you like him. Yeah look for two and then you have all these people that are like just want his attention so then it becomes like united mean yeah. It's kind of empowering. And so i thought from that first day that i was just here for my career because know it said actress shayne lamas actress rate. And that's what i am. But i wanted to let him know from this. I am definitely not here for my career. Let's make that are here for the right reason. Clear right. I'm here for tashaun. Meet you and these crazy bitches for michigan are not okay they they wanna be famous and that is exactly how it basically i mean down to the final few. He weeded out all of them. Yes so you have to bone better than the two other girls. Yes and i told them i needed. I need the last date. Okay and he said like the you always want to be last like ice skating gymnastics and the bachelorette bone. We did in. That was interesting but we won't get into that he's from london so they do things differently on there. Okay and i i like uncircumcised. Yes he meets my mom okay and then my dad. So my yeah. He met my. We lived in luca lake at the time. My mom did a beautiful house. Yeah they came my mom cooked. She showed him pictures of pageants and they watch videos the whole thing. Yup yeah and what did they think they re did you at this point. My my sister dakota. She's looking at me like trying to secretly talked to me with because they let you like alone. She's just like trying to like get a like. Is this real. Shane with booker. Your it's like. Are you going to get married. And you know i was thinking that you might take marry. I don't know to be honest. I think i was. Just i was young. And you're swept up in this fantasy world and then reality hits. Abc all right. He's all yours now and we go to sushi dan for our first dinner and he asked me to split the bill. Hold on wait no right so so wait you do the engagement you do get engaged. Yes he came here and you get your neal lane rano to corey at the time and did you like the ring. No i mean. They didn't have the live audience and after the rose and they did. I'm so you're sitting there with chris harrison. Tell you yes in peace. No just kidding. Yeah so you're with chris harrison. And you're you have that moment l. Yes but that we had already been broken up by then. Then you already broken okay. I'm telling you like like okay. When so the raiders. Get get the ring the ring get the ring so now he's come off. Mike scoff. he's going back to london. I'm going back to la and now we have to keep a secret for the season. To how many months are you keeping a secret. And it wasn't that it was like right away aired and so it was like two months. Okay so we're talking via london and it's like nighttime that are right now so there was just. It was just total like very hard. You know 'cause. I missed tim and we wanted to be so. Abc setup like three secret date rendezvous where he would fly in. They would take him to a house in palm springs. And then somebody would drive me from here to palm springs and we would sit in the house for two days and we had little people to go out and get what we needed and that was like two or three. Those were always just a nightmare. Why getting to know who you're marrying. You're like what is going on. Like i remember being in the kitchen. And this was airing so you're also picking fights like why they're filming you in the little house. The show is aggregating onto your right. Why did you like that trapping me tonight on the episode like i just have to warn us and then we get into a fight and it's like i'm stuck in the house with you're just like oh my god you know at the end of the day's what did i think back. What did i give herself into. But then again. I get myself into a lot of things. Okay so then. how do you break up with. But it's still blowing boning springs. Yes okay but it's still almost like a facade because it's still they're putting you in this nice house and yeah right your life so then when real life happens. When the finale airs yes literally he was an meanwhile..

They shut down magic mountain. Yes. For this and evacuated it. Okay. So do they have the new ride firestorm? No. But I think they need to open it. Yeah. Very good. Yeah. It's just it's going to happen yet. They were four just in so Cal yesterday and then you had the one in northern California, and that one is now they're starting to move into the new policy. Yeah. So they're already, so the house that we're selling said Napa county. So that's where I was as weekend. I walked out the car's covered in ash about that same time, the alert on the phone PG knees start voluntary power outages. And so that's all in precaution, and be they're all thinking about the paradise fire. Yeah. Of course they are now. So this is already started. So I saw it, you know, in for people thought myself, and with no power, people who need refrigeration for their medication are all going to die. Well, but let's hope not. But I'm serious for a moment, of course statement. But what are you? To do with people who have to refrigerate their medication or people who are on oxygen or any anybody who's on anything at home that they need to either keep cool or to keep them alive. Maybe towards the last part of my dad's life he needed oxygen. Yeah. And so they deliver auctions service out. And man, I was going what happens if there's a power outage? What's happening? They delivers part of it a battery pack. That's good. But how many refrigerators have battery packs? Yeah. Exactly. So, you know, there's upside downside nothing is ever clean. That. President trump. "No. I was deliberate. You not delivered. Twist compulsive twist because I was just essential vision. I went completely south when I knew that my employer had given up on me, and I completely gave up on them. Now, I'm not saying that's what's going to happen with the guys that that were rumored to be part of the trade. Whether it be Lonzo or Josh harder or Kyle Kuzma or Brandon Ingram. But I'm saying that there could very well be a hangover. I really from naive to think that there won't be unless you have a reason to say there won't be when I worked at WWE. There were a lot of people. They're the same age as this team now and people much much older who had been in the game, awhile insecurities exist. Right. I love John Ireland. He is one of the most secure individuals that I know at this station like he doesn't care if you compliment him or if you criticize him he takes them both the same. But that's a rare breed, man. Like that really think that's that's the projection a projection projection, and he's been in the business long enough to know what he should put out there. But these kids aren't season there's a famous story about John when he heard great Jon Allen as long as it's going to continue to work with you. Oh, yeah. 'cause the to Luca lake blog fest, whatever the hell it was wrote something about John Ireland and his play by play. And I mean, this was the most insignificant outlet in the history of the world, it really was it was somebody's blog who happen to write from to Lucas. Lake and I remember. Yeah. It's great town. Right. Yeah. It's lovely and over buffet. Play by play. And then his talk show, and Bob, and so John calls me up and says, okay, I just want to check my thinking here I'm going to send this guy sent me the link. He said I'm going to send this guy. This Email tell me if I should send it and he reads like this scathing, how dare you kind of Email to the blogger into Luca lake, and I said, John, John, you're John Ireland. You don't need to respond to bloggers, but it's anybody can get caught up emotionally obscenely criticism. Specially if you're harder on yourself and expect more from yourself than whatever fan base surrounds, right, right? Like the expectations. I set for myself were much higher than what any critic or any agent or any manager ever had for me and same with anybody else who was remotely successful. But I promise you this. If that happened to John Ireland today because of that for endeared him. Store. Yeah. He would never have to worry about that. This is the first time these kids are going through this. Right. So their reaction is very likely going to be equal or greater than John. Let me ask you this. Because I think this is also the other issue. So if you you go out for an audition you for role producers love, you they're happy to have you like intellectually, you know, that, you know, if if Leo walks through the door, Leo who to Capri McCaffrey, they're probably they're probably got me one. They're they're probably gonna take the Capri. I you love me. So let me give you a real experience. But like, but you still wanna know that they want you to be there. Like, it's not that the idea like these these young guys understand like the they will all. I hate calling. Hey, coach. Ousters listen disrespectful term when you're in a new pool. And it's a new thing regardless of your age your kid, you're a baby actually pointing out that we're old enough to call them. Fathered one I didn't. But like, so like, you know in the back of your head like there's they're probably people that they were head of me. Even like, you know, even though they love you still wanna know that they want you there. Right. Yeah. You still wanna know that you're producers directors they want you to be there. And I think if you're these young guys now because it's not just. Anthony davis. It's every start the Lakers, and rob Lincoln. Magic Johnson officially are at the they are the bad boyfriend..

"Outside of LA city hall where that announcement was made within the past hour or so LA mayor Eric Garcetti superintendent Austin beaten her in Alex Caputo Pearl president. The teacher's union stood side by side. We learned this morning that the latest marketing session was an all nighter and did not wrap up until six thirteen this morning. Wow. All night with these guys at the same time that they were shaking hands teachers were picketing on the streets of downtown. Now, those teachers need to vote on the deal. That's a process that will take the rest of the day. Okay. Let's find out what's in that package that sweet deal. This is a good agreement. It is a historic agreement. It gets to lower class sizes. It a laugh through that is that's not necessarily true. I mean, they eliminate one kid I this year and like one kid next year. That's not a big deal. It gets to lower class sizes. He's just laughing jersey. It gets lower class not chuckle, but he's he's been up all night. I guess I guess it gets to lower class sizes it gets proper support staff to community based schools to special Ed adult Ed expanded Greenspace and the list goes on we took on the way way expanded Greenspace. Andy green. I had bet myself that you were going to stop. What does that mean? No. It means that around the teachers striking for expanded Greenspace apparently was in the deal. None of it's not I would have never gone out there. Oh my God. I knew that expanded Greenspace and the list goes on the F does that mean. That's actually very important because development that they have that they're around Shum Greenspace. Yeah. It's our round Shum trees grass. These are important things. I don't think they're that important. I mean, look the kids go to school in New York. Never see anything green. The only thing they see green is when a homeless guy pulls out his dead-leg with gangrene on it. That's about it. And they do fine expanded Greenspace and the list goes on we took on this idea of bargaining for the common good, which is the idea of bringing to the bargaining table, some issues that are I never heard one teacher on the picket line while I was there at two Luca lake elementary say we're sticking we're staying out of that classroom until we get more Greenspace, they weren't leading with the Greenspace come on market means nothing to these kids is now the topic. These kids are into video games you ever seen a thirteen twelve year old kid they've never seen. They've never even been on grass. All they do is they come home, and they go on the computer, they shut the door. And they send a text back and forth to their friends about how stupid their parents are. Where my alone is. Now, the topic in every household in our community. Let's capitalize on this. Let's fix it. All right. Well, all the details were not released. We know it say six percent salary increase that was agreed upon and that was on the table before an exact number of a student.

"Andrew mollenbeck is coming on with us. Shortly. Here's he weather's Andrew mollenbeck. How are you? Where did you make it out there today? I did. I went out to you in the valley was on. Yeah. Yeah. What was that to Luca lake school or something like that? Yeah. I know where that is. And it's a little elementary school off for do go and co-anchor, and they're probably about twenty thirty people outside, and I was walking around the with my phone recording. And most people were cool there. But some guys that, hey, what are you doing here? And then a woman said, hey, where do you recording? I said it's for KFI, and she was a teacher probably in her. I dunno late fifties early sixties. And she said, what's KFI? And I said, let me guess NPR. She said, oh, yeah. I said, okay. I get that. I got the vibe they're pretty quickly. But it was it was great. But I was there for about twenty minutes, and then the rules were laid down and one of two of the rules that I'd broke one of them. Is you have to stay on the sidewalk? I didn't know that we were of that rule. I left the sidewalk I I was not following the rules. I broke both that rule Volvos broke that rule. But I also when people would honk to support the union, I would I would swear at those people and tell them, hey, if you really gave an F about these kids, you get out of that heated car and get into the rain with us. And that's not something that I did. I started using all kinds of language Adam because I was pissed I'm sitting there in the rain. I don't even have a kid that school. Well, that was one of the amazing parts about it was what a soggy started was to the first day of the strike. And I got out there about six forty five this morning, and where I was probably more than one hundred people were there teachers parents students, and what is it fifty degrees? Maybe it's coming down rain, and it really didn't let up all day. But there was a big turnout. I know you're gonna talk to and Carlo a little bit. How many people showed up downtown? But I went around to all the school districts are all the schools and one after another you saw quite a large presence one of the people. I talked to wasn't English teacher who was part of the last strike thirty years ago. And so he was out there this morning, and I was talking to him about you know, what difference between now. And then and this is what he had to say. Now, it's class size. My period. Six is fifty five students. For everyone. I do by way of creativity. Bend from the cafeteria from the thrown out desk that were personally broken. I see the kids are wonderful. I love teaching and I won't turn them away. Until the district tells me I have to and that was sort of the relevant interaction. I had today because that really is the central point from the Union's perspective. It's not really so much about money. It's about the class size in at an English teacher talking about I have fifty five students. He later in that same interview he told me that he spends eighteen hours over the weekend. Grading papers because he has somebody students in that class. So that really is the central rub here. How many kids are in class, and how many staff they have one of their big question. I just got an update from the school district here. Just a couple of minutes ago about how many students showed up and figures from them. They they say that far less. They don't have the the final total but far less than half the students actually showed up today, and I read around at various schools talking with students who did show up, and they basically said that today was a total bust. Wow. Clause in my closet. A lot of people that are just two of us. I said, so my causes me. And there's one other person are.

And I got a, you know, the just the safe in my mind, I thought well, I won't get the fries salad because this way it's just like a snack. Sure. Yeah. I had my own logic for you had you had one of the big boy burger, yes. Okay. Those are. Alicia. I know right. They have relished on there. Like, it's right. They taste like an old time him to me. They taste like childhood. Yeah. But we had you know, that's like vicious in in in. Michigan Frisch is is that what? Oh, Bob big boy was called. I've shown us officials. I think shoney's shoney's in Atlanta. We had shoney's out here that's called Bob. And I think in the mid west it's called Francis. And also their different names for all over the country. Yeah. And you can eat that late at night and not have a little agitated to go to bed. Well, yeah. But I was hungry. But then I yeah, I got home and. Yeah, you know, I I shouldn't eat late. Right. Right. Right. Right. So now, okay before we were talking about traveling down to south coast playhouse. They have a lot of plays down there. How do people how do people get around LA? How do people go to do things and seek catch a curtain at eight o'clock when it's the height of traffic, you want to kept the curtain phone to be there at seven thirty whatever you have to leave at five o'clock. Do you not? I do a lot. Now when I'm going to see theater when I'm going out and stuff as I just Uber. Yeah. Okay. Because there are so many so many over to Costa Mesa digit. No, no, I didn't. I drove down there. Yeah. But are or a lift, but I mean, but I just think that you know, you just I mean, I'm so I've been here. So many years. I'm just us. To traffic like yes. Well, you're from Michigan. Yes. Yeah. But let me just side note. Can we just have a side note to all the rideshare drivers that putting on your emergency flashers is not an excuse for blocking lane in traffic? You know out here they put on their flashers too because oh, I'm working. I'm putting I'm gonna pick up a passage like no bitch. You're in the middle of a lane traffic, you cannot stop there and putting on your flashers does not excuse bad driving. And they're actually, you know, we used to have right here. People who would advertise on our show. I there probably won't advertise any more on our show, but they haven't been here for a while. So I can talk about them. Now, I wanna talk about the acting game because you've been doing it for long..

That is just the valley that is just the San Fernando Valley and stuff wasn't even developed that much at that end of the valley like Chatsworth, Conoco park. I know you find this hard to believe, but I'm a lot older than you. So even even my age, I used to go down to Chatsworth A logic. lot of lot. And and nothing. So when I when I moved in there, there was nothing north of Burbank. I mean, nothing north of Burbank and nothing west of receivable of, yeah, it just everything. Just sort of spilled from Hollywood over coin, go over the caney and then then it filled up like Luca lake and all that we're Bob Hope was and everything, and it just kept spreading its way. Now you go through the past Santa Susanna pass your into seamy valley just keeps spreading. So do you have a thought early about saying, I want to be in show business, but I don't want to be in front of the camera? No, actually I was premed my whole high school in my first urine college. So I worked part time at universal and then at FOX, and I got the bug and that was it. I never had the talent to be in front of the camera. So that wasn't an option for me. Best thing I could do represent the talent house, Tom Cruise to work with ease. Best smart wanted to met him when he was nineteen. Paula Wagner from our office brought him in. He is. He sat there a new what he wanted me was very serious at an early age, shrewd producer, businessman, early on or develop that because he's developed into a very shrewd produce. I mean, he learned the trade really well and picked it up. He's like a sponge e. learned very fast. What to do, what not to do. And if you look at his credits, he worked with fantastic director at an early age. We gave them a list of ten directors. We thought he should work with them in that up working with like nine of them. One of the movies did was with Paul color of money which was created off of a sequel to the hustler, and it was a Marty Scorsese movie. I heard a story about mardi and goodfellas and how they're talking about some of the roles in that, and I thought it was one of my all time. Favorite movies, maybe my all time favorite. If you just go, you have to pick. So he's tough to pick, but it's a great one. Good fell as I love it because it has so many chapters. And cover so much ground, but some of the some bigger names that were considered for that movies is that true? The studio wanted a big star to play the Liotta part. Yeah. But Scorsese said, like if we have too many familiar faces, it's not gonna ring true or it's going to be distracting. Well, he knew who we wanted, but the the interesting thing, which is a fan, you'll get a kick out of that when you walked into his office, he had pictures eight by ten pictures of real wise guys so that he could cast everything. And he ended up casting a lot of real wise guys in the movie, which is sort of interesting. I mean, God, he think about how did release had to be nominated for that role. I'm almost positive. He was not, and I think you would know that better than I would miss drove. Its but wasn't deniro I build or on the poster. His name's higher because he was the bigger star. They wanna get more people in this seats is that well, he just he was a bigger name. So he went first outta they not. How is he not nominee again, Sando it'd be wrong, but look that up. Most positive was years and years. Mardi was never nominated. Cubic was never nominated. There's a lot of amazing directors that were never nominated early on. Finally, one later in their careers. So for you. I wouldn't just tell tell Paul Newman star forever. I heard I never met Paul. It have all this race cars, but I never met him when everyone always asks. Everyone basically says, if you wanna just talk racing and be a regular guy, he was fine with that, but didn't really like the Hollywood scene. He really loved cars and racing. I mean, it was his, it was his life..

Well, I'm sure by now you've all heard the Colin Kaepernick news and I'm sure Mark gear goes, and you will further be discussing it soon. TMZ says, one of the largest police organizations in the nation is blasting Nike for the new cabinet ad campaign saying, Nike's definition of sacrifice is a slap in the face to those who risk their lives to protect the country. The brand has been receiving both praise and criticism for the new just do it ad. It's black and white picture very close up shot of cap cap panic with the words believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything. DMZ sports has obtained a statement from the national association of police organizations that has over two hundred forty thousand officers involved, and they're calling on a boycott from the families of the police, their families, their friends to all boycott, Nike products. There's so much cotton going on what's left of I, there's no time. To boycott or can you? I guess I could boycott like last week there was a fat burger boycott and called, and then there's a Nike and we called. So what I do is probably do that simultaneous not to stone, not wear Nikes and not simultaneously right in now. Oh, sorry. In and out. I was on my Fatburger from earlier while you're at it fat. I will eat a fat to then I was thinking of taking, or I could combine to where I could take the Nikes a lot of people like videotaping them burning the Nikes. Yeah, I could set the Nikes on fire while wearing them, but then do the LS ice water bucket challenge the fire out. It's going to take to like a positive, take a negative one. Yeah. I thought you were going to say grill your own burgers over the open flame of the Nike fights also good. You know, could be some chemicals given off. Smell ski. Okay. The things that are given off, it's still innocent, gee, if you do that, I wonder what that deal was. You could find out. Try to find out a lot of people are taking pictures and videos of them cutting the Swoosh off their socks. You already bought it. They already have your money. So what do you? What's the point? I don't desecrate after they've hammered the Chet who care Nike doesn't care of narcissism. The village, if I'm not wearing their Swoosh, people won't see them does want the socks. Yes, Milwaukee advertisement. Yeah. Well, they look, they, they film themselves doing it and then they put it up on line. So it's all there's all this just rewards granddaughter. Yeah, right. Yeah. Well, one time Cosby show actor Geoffrey, Owens speaking out after being job shamed over the weekend for working at trader Joe's and an unlikely group of actress came together to support him. I'll tell you in a second job shaming passed, well, then you might you might have an opinion on this. Owens was nice. You've heard about. Yeah, yeah. He was recognized at the register over at trader Joe's New Jersey. Someone took a picture of it was picked up by the Daily Mail and then FOX tweeted it out. Owens appeared on good Morning America, Tuesday that minute. He did not react well at first, but then received an outpouring of support real quick. Here's a of where we're at now, which is like we're sensually the guy depar- who's got the stick with the nail on it, and we're charge picking up litter. So we just finish a hot dog and we ball up the thing. We throw it on the ground in front of us go who's going to clean that up. And then I go, I am. And then you stab it, and then you put it thing and then you do it again. We're just creating our own stories like I, he gets shamed now. He gets his hero first things. The most interesting the store that they're glossing over is the first black man ever been -ployed by trader Joe's. I mean, come on the land, Jackie Robinson trader Joe's employee's. I've been trader Joe's from to Luca lake doing Sinoe too. South Pasadena..
