So i'm a little more bullish. What does that mean. Do i think like win the west. I think they can win. The i would think those things are pretty improbable dallas. There's this obsession among mavs fans. Well the front office didn't do anything. We didn't get a second guy. We gotta get a second guy like well okay. You traded everything that you would trade for a second guy to get a second guy. Your problem is. He hasn't played like a second guy consistently he did in the bubble. That's porzingas obviously didn't last year and you can't snap your fingers in turn. Distressed asset is not the right term but sort of player that has to reprove himself as a star. And the draft picks. You don't even have any more into a second guy. That's why they were trying to get lower because lowry's thirty five or thirty six. Whatever he is he does not require the bounty that a quote unquote normal. Second guy would get. I think he would have fit great in dallas. It's just not that easy with the assets. They had in hand. I think they're going to be a pretty good team like their starting. Five is probably gonna be luca. Hardaway finished smith cleveland porzingus. Like that's a good starting five block in there. "I think he still starts Tim Hardaway junior, of course. I think you're also gonna go, of course, well, Luca, I guess we gotta make sure we add him in there, right? Yeah, he might start. Yeah, I think he probably would be new coach. New coach is always coming and so you gotta earn it. That's right. So maybe like urban Meyer, which Trevor Lawrence, right? No, Gardner mentioned a really he really might be our starting quarterback, come on. To getting traded. He's got to earn that. But no, I do think you're going to have those guys in there. I think that Reggie Bullock makes sense in that starting lineup as well provides a little bit of shooting. And then for me, I'm probably leaning towards a Dwight Powell. I like his chemistry with leuko starting at your center position there. I like that. I would love to be able to just say unleash the bob on and just put him in there for as many minutes as you can get them for, but no, I think it's going to be Dwight Powell. Yeah, so we're close, which is good. We differ for the first time in this episode. I think Dorian Finney Smith hangs onto his starting spot. Just because I think he he's the best defender of that group by a pretty good margin. So I'll go with Luca Hardaway, Finney Smith, porzingis and Powell. Darren, I think Reggie Bullock plays the 6 man role coming off the bench but plays a ton. Dumb there. Good versatility in that group, good versatility coming off the bench. So is there a transition to their rotation players? I think, as I said, Bullock probably the 6th man for all purposes here. Jalen Brunson will play quite a bit. I think they got Sterling Brown with the idea of him playing a good amount as a bigger wing for them. And then it's kind of the grab bag of Willie cauley Stein. Boba and Moses Brown two will probably play pretty regularly because they just don't like porzingis at the 5. When maybe that changes with Jason Kidd now in the fold, that's going to be something we're going to have to keep, keep an eye on because I could open up all sorts of fun lineup possibilities. If they did that, but those guys will probably play some too. And then let's see if Trey Burke can work his way back into the rotation or not. Josh green last year's first round pick and not feeling so great about that one. I guess as he's probably inactive or most guys are healthy. So pretty good depth on this team, but this is going to be a team I'll be watching quite a bit early in the season to see how Jason Kidd is treating the rotation. Because Rick Carlisle would yank guys in and out of the starting lineup, guys is in and out of the rotation pretty regularly..

"I guess it was like game five or six when he started to go with the to the twin tower thing with with with a bo bon and with kp which is something that we can you know the roster stuff with dallas is a conversation we're going to have to have i think that it's a looming thing over this and it really is tied into how luca plays lucas evolution. But if you if you look at the fact that the clippers have these you know rangy quick wings who have they have a lot of dynamic ball skills among their wings and they just keep throwing a magic. Keep throwing macha a similar to the hawks in a way who will talk about but the mavs when they had that big lineup out. There they're north-south foot. Speed was just really really compromise. They couldn't they couldn't get any ball pressure to keep the clippers from going where they want to go. I mean nobody can stop quite from going where he wants to go to slowly. He's he's so so strong so effective. And i can't even count how many times they got along the baseline and kick it back out and shot wide open shots and the clippers hit him. I mean it was. It was just a consistent flow of spot up offense that dallas just couldn't do anything about despite the fact that they were still scoring the ball themselves. Would everything you just said reminded me of the draymond green. There's eighty two game players sixteen game players and in this series for the mavericks you see maxi cleveland. Become a nine minute per game player. You see dwight powell getting five minutes in this game seven which. I'm a little bit surprised about after how well he did in game. Six and game five. You see traber coming off the bench. Jalen brunson only ten minutes coming off the bench. It just carlyle and have a lot ton of options off this bench and a lot of the guys are performed well around luca over the course of the season. It seemed like that the skills just aren't translating to a postseason setting now for the second season in a row and for the mavericks here. We'll talk about the clippers more in a second but with dallas spinning this forward for them the lack of self creation scoring weapons aside from luca. Hardaway juniors a nice player. He's a nice player. he can't be your number two. If you want to win a championship. Porzingas plays like a number three a big floorspace or carlyle talked all series long about how you know. He saying capeeze playing great. Kp is doing what he needed him to do. The problem is and we have a video about this on monday on the void. Kp is a thirty million dollar player playing like a tall wing playing off ball cutting and slashing but he's not somebody you can give the ball tune and he also to your point on defense not making it up on that the floor. Either to the point you're playing a lot zone. The clippers were taking those open jump shot opportunities when boban and kp. Those two players will have to be out to fourteen days which is five to eight games and then the other two that are just quarantining for seven days. that's oh. I thought it was four days. I think it's seven. Yeah so that's two games. They'll miss two more to your games. Yeah that they'll miss. And then yeah maxine and the other one will be out for another four five six to eight gay. So you're looking at a starting lineup. Next game of luca hardaway. I think a one takes over. Josh green. Because i can imagine was surprisingly good. Yeah and then James johnson probably starting at the four for for maxine. And then cauley stein at the five with your bench. Trey burke in powell and josh green and hopefully nobody else has to play. Yeah so i mean it's a. It's going to be tough. It's gonna be rough. Yeah i wonder look. There's some and i don't know if anybody has any inside. Knowledge of porzingis is coming back. I have well.
