"We have him because of the practice squad. Numbers what i see going forward for. This team is a lot of competition. One thing you notice. What the defensive line. I got guys out there right now that i don't think we're gonna wind up being starters. But you're seeing different alignments different guys and i think the linebacking core with christian kirksey. Ken pierre-louis cunningham. That should be solid in the. You need linebackers for the sport. Through the end of really good linebackers levies got assault group linebackers there. I just worry about the secondary and then because you don't have a. Jj watt anymore on defense you get waves of pass rushers. George jenkins shack loss in charleston. Mena who who. I think had some really good moments in the last season interesting to see what he'll do with. Does he break out at all. This year collinses someone. That's been kind of buzz about him. Yeah because of his quickness we wrote some about hey we post some of the drills. Were watching that on the practice field if he bounces back to what he was like in dallas. That makes a big difference. Because if you don't have it three technique like collins. That's an impact player. Which lovey smith had all his defenses. The you don't have a very defense gonna pop the way needs to definitely do. That's aaron wilson. Thank you as always popping in. We will catch up with you and just bid seven three two one two five seven hundred our phone number to join us. We'll get into a big day for one of the ball clubs. The ball club here.

Sean Watson's attorney, Rusty Harden, was granted an emergency hearing by the Harris County District Court in Texas as he is now pushing for the release of the identities of 20 of 22 plaintiffs suing the Houston Texans quarterback claiming sexual assault. "Lovey Smith at Illinois went 17 and 39 5 seasons he was in fired. And this morning, Illinois has hired a new head coach, former Wisconsin and Arkansas coach Brett Bielema. Who has been with the New York Jets. I mean the New York Giants for the last couple of seasons in the NFL underneath Joe Judge with the Giants this season, Bailamos 50. He spent the last three seasons in the NFL as an assistant. Hey, will receive a six year contract at Illinois with a starting salary of $4.2 million. Bret Bielema won three consecutive Big 10 championships at Wisconsin. From 2010 through 2012. He went 68 24 in seven seasons with the Badgers. He had five top 25 finishes. For the Badgers in the Big 10. So you know Bret Bielema at Illinois. Initial response for me would be. I think this is exactly the type of higher you need to make a soprano Graham because this is an individual who knows how to recruit the Midwest. When you're Illinois, you need to be able to pluck off players from Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, and you have to own this part of the Midwest. How will you ever be the Ohio State of the conference? No, I don't think so. I don't think that's the lot in life for Illinois football, but you should be competing. Recruiting wise with the likes of Nebraska, Iowa, Penn State. Heck, Maryland in 2021 has the fourth ranked recruiting class at the moment in the Big 10, so No, no, I should be in that grouping that second tier right below Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State. So I think Bret Bielema is the type of coach that could come in and get recruits to stay in state into recruit within the rest of the Midwest. And win some football games. And I think this is exactly the type of higher Illinois football needs. At this time to 16 24 in the Big 10. He had four seasons of 10 wins or more while he was at Wisconsin. I think you're right, Chris. I think this is the kind of guy that they need because I think you look at. If you're looking to go to Illinois, right? There's a few coaches you could play for, or you're going to the big 10 if you're contemplating big 10 schools, right? You can go to Ohio State and most likely for getting recruited by Ohio State. You're going to go to Ohio State because they're the blue blood program. They're the best team in the conference. You're going to be a national championship conversation every single year. All that good stuff, right? Then you might consider Wisconsin or Michigan where you're good. You might not be good enough to get to college football playoff every year, but you're still competing yourself a chance to win. Maybe not Michigan this year, but you still have a chance to win. You know, eight or 9 10 games every single year. Right? Then you look at the Minnesota's theme the I'd even put Northwestern in that category. Now because of teams that can win eight games every year B B have a chance to win their side of the conference and go to a big 10 championship game. Also, look at these types of coach is right. We've got Ryan Day you've got Jim Harbaugh. You've got the guys that I know Ryan days, not an established head coach, but his program is established. He's establishes a winner. You've got Harbaugh who, if he gets an extension here, Michigan is a blue blood type program. There's a lot of history there all that good stuff. Right then you I've got what I did. Herman as like the rock rock, guys, you know, like you've got Scott Frost you've got I would even put Pat Fitzgerald and they're great coaches make you want to run through a wall. Right? Flock. PJ Fleck is in there to Skye. You my row. The boat. All that good stuff, right? We sat down face to face with PJ Flaco. He gave you a face to face guy. UMA gave me a face to face guy. You told me to row the boat gave me a firm handshake looked me right in the eye and I wanted to run right through a wall, right? I think this is a different kind of category. This is the That film has done it before he's had success he's established if I go to Illinois, we're gonna be that team that eventually, if we get good recruiting is going to be that team. That could be a, um You know, like, not necessarily a Wisconsin but could be like Northwestern could be like Iowa could be like Minnesota, where you're do you're playing for a guy that's done it he might not make you run through. While he's more of a have fun type of coach. He's more of a jolly guy guess around his guys. There's some, you know, there's some baggage, I guess that he comes with. But if you're looking at a guy who you're looking to play for If you're not going to be this, I'm going to run through the wall type of guy. If you're not going to be the well, I can't get into Ohio State. Then I would say that this is your next backstop Shin. The reports are that Illinois in interviewed Lance Leopold from Buffalo and that they went with Brett Bielema. I think he's a good coach. I think he's a good recruiter. He's a great recruiter. Look at the look at the some of the recruits. He got to go to Wisconsin while he was there. Look at some of the transfers. He got up Russell Wilson. I don't know if you've heard of him. Have you heard of him here to Russell Wilson? Yeah, He's pretty good. Yeah. Okay. Pretty good. So you've got that's how you got to do it. That's how we talked about Lovey Smith would have successfully Illinois right..

"Who's right side back shoulder. Got his bad on a great catch by envy. Yes. Oh, my goodness. They beat my money over warrior at the pylon on the right side of the end, so Just a beautiful catch by Mark was felled is canceling. That was the play we were talking about before the break Brian D joining joining me from Monday morning Quarterback victory Monday. Packers, 10 and three clinching the NFC North. And as we look at the division, Brian, this is ah, year. That's there was supposed to be a better better Vikings team that the alliance I would say have have been competitive. The Bears obviously have the quarterback struggles. What do you make of this NFC North championship in this season? In the way the Packers have approached it. Like I said in our first segment today, here on Monday morning, quarterback Steve any division championship any year can be celebrated because it's really hard to do now. Looking at the division. The Bears looked a heck of a lot better after six weeks than they do after 13. They've really struggled. A lot of that is quarterback issues. The Lions started. Okay, then they went into a pretty serious low that resulted with them firing their head coach in their G M's. They're very clearly hitting or east that reset button and the Vikings. They just couldn't get things clicking, you know, quickly enough out of the gates. In order to be contenders later in the year because they had so many new pieces, so the Vikings very well could sneak into the playoffs. They're currently a game back of Arizona for the seventh and final spot, so they've got an opportunity here. Still, they probably missed a big opportunity. Losing the Tampa yesterday. All of that long winded way to say any division championship should be celebrated. Especially when we're talking about a couple of teams here still buying for playoff spots. I mean, it's been competitive. It's not like the Packers have run away with a bunch of games in the division. Interesting thing about the now repeat for NFC North Crown is that with a brand new coach Matt LeFlore they have. They've had an incredible winning percentage. And obviously a lot has to do with the Aaron Rodgers and its surrounding cowers. But you got to give some of that love to the coach, and he has done something that I don't know if a brand new coach in history has won the first two division titles of his of his tenure, but it's impressive. As a young guy and his younger coach. I think the legacy of Matt look for is just getting started. He's a guy that seems to be really committed to the detail. I love the way looks on offense and the texture makes a great point. Nick from Dallas. Bobby talk. Bobby Tanyon. This is a guy that if he is not leading the NFL's a tight end, he's up there. Yeah, For sure. I mean, in terms of touchdown catches, he's right near the top with Travis Kelsey, who is one of the most dynamic players not just at the tight end position, but any receiver. He's leading the league in receiving yards from the tight end position and onion from a touchdown production. Perspective is right there with him. So he's developed into, you know, a great weapon and it's funny, Steve. You know we spent all off season. Talking about Aaron Rodgers. Lack of weapons. Didn't we? A wire into drafting a wide receiver. And why aren't they bringing this guy in free agency And yet in the 1st 10 minutes of our conversation today, we've talked about the Monty Adam's being a bona fide star in the top wide receiver in the NFL. We've talked about Robert Tanyon, developing into probably the top eight top five tight and receiving option in the league. We've talked about Aaron Jones and whether or not they should bring him back or whether or not he's gonna price himself out of Green Bay because he's played that well, which very well could be a possibility. We've talked about the budding superstardom of NVs. If he could just be consistent like I look around now and going, what would lack of weapons? What lack of stars? Maybe we just didn't trust these guys and they needed more time to develop. That's the thing I love about this. You know that debate was raging in the off season. And here we are talking about a Packers team that if it's not leading the NFL in scoring its clothes, and they're just so productive, let's shift the other side, the ball. You and I always go back and forth about about what? We're gonna talk about it. One of the interesting things that I Noticed about Packers fans and all the dialogue about the team is the conversation about the defense. They seem to be. You've called it, You know, a defense. That kind of lets lets teams move down the field, but that time when they need to When they need to get tight. They closed down and they don't give up a lot of points. I'm I think I've been pretty consistent. I think this is an average two better than average defense. I don't know that. I know that. They're more than that. Where do you detect around? Assessment? Stop tiptoeing around. You want my pen? Fire? You think the defense sucks Just going on it own it own it. They suck. You've been there all you don't think they saw? Yeah, Look, I'm not a mike petting fan, and I think in many, there are some moments in the last couple games where It seems like and again. I'm just reading what the what The TV shows me. The coach is a little less than happy in the way, his defense responded. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. There's some opportunity here. There's a guys out there, and one of the ones I talked about yesterday was lovey Smith, who got released from Illinois Lovey Smith knows NFL defense. Now his defense is in Illinois was not great, and you could argue that you know who has built his team with it as a college level coach. He certainly knows the NFL. Do you ever see a scenario where something could happen in in that position defensive coordinator where the Packers would make a change like that? Not by the end of the year? I think they're definitely going to evaluate it at the end of this season, Regardless of the outcome of their season, I would not be in the lovey Smith camp for three words that you just said released from Illinois. It's not like Illinois is this star studded college football program that is competing for college football playoff. Appearances every single year in the big time, big time conference. Illinois is not good and love you. Smith got fired by that program. I'm also done with re treads in the NFL, like we've seen how good Kyle Shanahan and Matt the floor and Sean McVeigh and all these guys that come in. As first time head coaches have done. I think the only reached red that's found tremendous success recently in the NFL is Andy Reid in Kansas City. He needed a fresh breath coming out of so many successful years and then fading off in in Philadelphia at the end, But I'm kind of in on just bringing in the new guys and giving them a chance in the Robert Solace of the world, working with their way up and becoming, you know, dominant defensive coordinators for the San Francisco 40 Niners like I just, you know, Going with a guy that has experienced but has flamed out as well. Just doesn't interest me as much as let's let's take a chance on a younger guy that is unproven that still hungry that maybe monster implements. Some new ideas and then could that can connect with his younger generation of players out there. Okay, So let me give you an example of the opposite Leslie Frazier. I believe he's defensive coordinator Buffalo bills. He didn't have a great great run as a head coach. He certainly knows defense and I watched the game last night..

"Lovey Smith? Parting ways with the Illinois You being the resident football expert on this show. Sorry to see him go, actually have always been an admirer of lovey Smith. I liked him when he was coach of the Bears. People forget that we went to the Super Bowl under lovey Smith. Am I right? Andy? You're right. And he just seems like a great guy to be around. He does seem like a very, very nice guy. Have you had personal encounters with Mandy? Oh, yeah, I covered cover that team while well, love. He was in town and Yeah, very nice guy. You know, it didn't give the media a whole lot. A spar Is any inside information or anything like that. But You know, I guess that set aside his job, but very pleasant man. Why did the media like him so much? Because he really did make a A stand like was always the bears against the media. And yet the media always seemed to give him a break because it's fun to cover teams that win. It really is. There's a good I mean, it really is because it's funny cause players. Players don't understand it too. I mean, and you know they're obviously in the mix and the whole thing that that they're playing their jobs depend on it. A team of covering the team. That wins is so much easier and so much more pleasant than covering a team that doesn't I mean, it. Just it zah basic. I guess it's basic to think that way. But it's true. You know, Being a nice guy doesn't put winds up on the board and he really a zoo. Nice a guy as he is, and I'm sure very proficient just really wasn't able to put together. Any winning seasons. It Illinois has he? No, it's it's really hard to do. I mean, because you know you come from the NFL, and then you go to the college ranks, and you're trying to resurrect a program that it kind of Gondor made a little bit. In Illinois, and then you have Northwestern, winning as well as much as it has over the last few years, puts a little extra pressure on the down state rival. You know, sometimes the college of the NFL coaches have a hard time going to college, looking at what's going on with Jim Harbaugh, too. And at Michigan You know, he's really kind of lost the flavor there a little bit, but it's such a different atmosphere when you're trying Tomo recruit players rather than being able to just go out and either trader signed them. You know? Yes, Jack to get these guys a sign with the out of high school or transferred to your program, and it just never got have never got real flow. They went toe One bowl game, and that was it. You know, the Tribune is reporting that when he was hired, he was given a six year contract that would have required a $12 million buyout. Okay, 2018 is that Is that unusual? Or is that an exceptional kind of deal? That's pretty big, mean? Yeah. Usually the buyouts are a little smaller, but you know Give credit to his agent to give credit to love you for signing that deal, and, you know, now you have eyes gonna have to go out And with that budgetary constraints, and I have to try to find another the next guy. So the buyout means what you get fired because that would just about caught without cost or terminated. So with without cause of what are there any names that are, you know, that may come up as possible candidates? Yeah. I mean, not to know that. Ah, lot of folks have really at this point. I don't think that Nikki will be with you guys. But you know what Love you love you. It's going to be bounced around quite a bit. I mean, the Jets may have an opening the own repairs may have an opening. I mean his. Do you think you could come back to the barracks? Really, You know, it's I've stranger things have happened. Let's put it to you that way. I mean, he does have a great pedigree in the NFL is being a tremendous defensive coach. And that's where he kind of made his calling card there with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before he became the head coach of the Bears. So I mean, you can't rule anything out. But at the same time does he really want to keep going? I mean, he's getting a little older, and he's got $12 million Bank. Maybe you sit back and put your feet up and then watch some college football watching NFL. I think it's because he shaved his beard. Yeah, you know, especially when the holly time you didn't have a good Santa Claus Beard, Dylan, Nice and great fluffy. I didn't even recognize him by some on TV once that with the with the beard on Bond. Didn't even recognize him. He was clean shaven when I saw him. Yeah, I think he lost all his powers. Yeah. What was that? Sampson? Yeah, cutting off their hair and not having the same powers. But, yeah, it's a shame. You know that A lot of people really wanted to see him succeeded at Illinois because, like I said, it was, it's a program that is kind of needed a jolt. And certainly did when you hire a big name like lovey Smith, and he there was a lot of pressure on him, and unfortunately, it didn't work out with only 17 wins in the five seasons. Is it something that could be just, you know, systemic within their system. Because nobody's been able to have any luck with Illinois, right? Yeah, And it's hard because the big complaint for Illinois fans that watched week in and week out or the fact that Illinois hasn't really been able to recruit in its own backyard, and there's a lot of talented football players from the state of Illinois. That go elsewhere just because the program hadn't been what it used to be. So I think the next head coach that comes in there's gonna have to make a real concerted effort to be able to recruit the Chicago area and were able to recruit This state because there's a lot of great players in the state of Illinois. Isn't that a common kind of complaint with a lot of Illinois in Chicago colleges that they don't seem to be able to recruit right in their own backyard? Yeah, it's tough because you know your California kids like to stay in California just warm. You know, Illinois kids want to go to other schools because they leave the state They want to get to some place warm and You know, in a lot of these big time programs, then you'd be stupid not to go because you get a.

"They had enough winds. Now All they have to do is scrape together half of the wind. My point was, the rest of the season was like the midway point, the point that we were saying, right, But my point was, is despite their record, they're not a good football team right like that. They may not be, but they could still make the player that I get it. Which is your point today? Yes, and the So I'm saying to you. How outlandish is it to sit here and say that is bad is this team has been, you know they thrive against the weaker teams. That would be so bears that they would win just enough where everyone saves their ass. That's what and they have some useless playoff game that they include an extra eighth team. And then the draft pick is worse. And we're stuck in the middle of you still be here. Here's what brings it full circle. We all have to remember as bears fans. What we wanted when lovey Smith was fired. Why was Lovey Smith fire because they didn't get to the postseason as well. And they were winning in the postseason, right right, But because it's a championship caliber franchise in the championship caliber city, and we deserve Maura's Bears fans. That was the target. Well, yes, in love he was fighting. There was even not me. They had got into the postseason despite the tenant six record record when he got fired. They had only been to the postseason once. And what was that the last five or six years? Not good enough, even though he was 10 and six not good enough so like ripe old circle, even if they make the playoffs and they lose in the wild card round, and they look like crap. The rest of the way out, but they find a way to manage to beat. The Jack should still be here. Change to still be there because the target goal of bears fans when love he was fired was it was not acceptable. It was not good enough. They're not championship caliber. That's what we need. That's now we're on the same page and and lift lovey Smith can get fired Attendant sixes. You're what second winning his coach. And our third winningest coach in franchise history behind House and Ditka. Then Ryan Pace should get fired and I don't dispute what you say. I'm sitting here telling you if they get to the postseason this year, two out of three years they're running it back with the same crew. Even Steven Wheeling, you're on ESPN 1000. What's up, Steve? Hey, Why don't fill the Steve here from Wheeling, You know, I think it really starts in the top. Starting with ownership. I know you've heard this many times. But the thing is she hot pants over 30 years living in the city. I kind of was in a situation of the Bears. In the beginning of the fan. We barely made the playoffs. To me. It was Until pile about the team. Then he brought in like my home grand and at my coven, retired Pekao. We're talking 20 years of 15 years of playoff appearances, Greece, Wilbur appearances and one win. You gotta have that sustainability. I don't think the Bears had that go at what 20 years 15 years. That's what you gotta look for your report. And to me, you gotta have that in his heart. He sometimes it's luck. For me right now, Pete Carroll and Russell Wolf. We got head that you have to have that coach quarterback relationships, marriage. You gotta have that if you don't have that it's really comfortable making it sustained playoff success. 24. It's basically been 30 years, almost 30 years since the Bears of that sustained success they wanted with one playoff is all he went to what I think you went that one platform with you, Otto, then 95 94. We beat the Vikings and then we went to San Francisco and got our doors blown. All right, 95. They rewrote the bears record offensive books, but They did not make the postseason and then they went like 19 7 96. They weren't is good and the 97 they started owing 7 98. After that year, he was fired. Giron flares up in no one They get to the postseason and after a one, it's not total five toe. Lovey Smith comes there and they get eliminated. By Steve Smith 06 They get to the Super Bowl. They leave the Super Bowl, and they don't make the playoffs for the few. Few years and then in 10, they make it to the NFC championship. The only reason I'm mentioning what I mentioned today is not because I think it is. It's like highly likely because I think is bad is this offense has been it's going to be very difficult for them to win four in a row, even against lesser teams. I'm just telling you That the the narrative about what is going to transpire could be significantly different for weeks from now. Yeah, let's go to cannon outgrowth. Kenny, you're on ESPN 1000. He lost the fan base. So that's another loss for the bearers. But more important, Tommy when you played, he didn't kick ass in the last 10 seconds to try to jump over the pile to get to the tag the quarterback to keep the game over You kicked ass in the first whistle. Odd? I don't care if the berry go always 16, But let him know you played football. Don't run over to the TV screen and wave and dance all that other crap. Play football, not the guy down. Don't pick him up. If You play the next place, Tommy. Show him how football really was played back in the day may be the one getting my ass kicked. I wasn't kicking anyone's ass. You stood back up and said, Hit me again. I'm tired of going with stance and getting my ass kicked because I'm a bear fan. Well can here here Here's where you and I take different paths. I don't care how you get to 16, you know, fired up, but I love it. Whatever football Both love telling you guys, I'm just telling you We're all in unison right now. The things they're just they need it. You got games coming up with the lions, The Texans, the Vikings in the jacks. All right, So I've got your basket I've gotta Would you rather question for you boys on this? Would you rather Tuesday coming up next? About two scenarios? Would you rather 2014 happen again. Right here on W L s the fighting tonight. Football is back now. Speaking of Wisconsin, we're gonna go to our next guest just momentarily. It's either going to be Pennsylvania, Florida or Wisconsin. Michigan is kind of off the grid. Now that's what I'm hearing. But that course could change tomorrow. But Wisconsin is in play. And over this past weekend, Biden campaign warned Democrats in West counts and please don't be complacent. It is closer than you would see on Twitter or TV. The real clear politics. Poll averages from Wisconsin indicates that Biden is about six points up and a big part of real clear. Politics is average comes to us from Marquette. And so does our next guest. Professor Charles Franklin is here Professor of law and public policy and the director of the Marquette Law School pole. And in reading this piece that I found the professor will get back to this talks about How the overwhelming polarisation that Wisconsin has had for a number of years. In fact, even earlier than other parts of the country is one of the reasons that things were so stable. But still volatile. So, Professor. Welcome to double the else..

"Do have a best bet coming up from St Fezzet here in just a couple of moments, it is an NFL related best. Bet Your chance to make some coin on the national. Football League, but first I wanted to get your thoughts on this because I might be the only one who thinks this is a bigger deal than maybe some people are reporting on it, or at least discussing Sean Payton and I don't WanNa make accusations here, so I don't WanNa come on the air and say four certain that Sean. Payton was buckled when he was doing this interview. I have no idea whether he was drinking or. Or not, but he came out pretty strong on several subjects and Sean. Payton was on one, zero, five, seven, the fan in Baltimore, talking about the acquisition of Jameis Winston, signing James Winston and he went on to say that back in twenty fourteen that Lovey Smith, and the bucks took out all their starters, so they could lose week seventeen to the New Orleans saints so that they could end up with the number one pick so that they could draft Jameis Winston now if you go back and look at that game, new, Orleans or Tampa Bay was up twenty two seven. They had a thirteen point lead at the start of the fourth quarter and ended up. Twenty three to twenty. I mean. Call me crazy Fez, but if I'm finding out that a team is trying to throw a game. And I'm a sports better. Wouldn't that Piss you off if you had money on Tampa Bay. It's all about player performance evaluation Jonas. He got to see what you got with some of the backups, and frankly we've been seeing this in the NBA for a decade now so I think there's a big distinction between a team trying to lose versus a team juggling their lineup, and they lose because of it. I know that sounds to be similar, but I think there's a big differential between the. The two well, let me here's my theory as to what actually happened. This is what I think happened because. Sean Payton specifically said Lovey Smith took out all his starters. Here's what I think happened I think. I don't think lovey Smith wanted to do it. First of all I think. Lovey Smith was told by the front office. Take out your starters late in the game at some point so. So that, we can improve our odds of losing that football game and I think lovey. Smith went against everything that he knows about football competition, everything in his core and tank to the game late by taking the starters out, and then a year later got fired by the organization I. Think Lovey Smith was pissed off because he did everything for the organization when against everything inside of him as As far as competition goes, took his starters out of the game thinking I'm helping the organization at least they can help me. And a year later got fired for it, and they turn the keys over to dirt cutter I. Think Lovey Smith was pissed off about that felt like he got wronged and got duped by the organization, and that's why he told Sean Payton the story. That's my theory. Possible but lovey Smith has never been very much of a football coach and Tampa. Bay Did get Winston instead of Marietta show. It worked out better for them G's, and you're taking out. Lovey Smith to finish up the show. Good guy says all right, so speaking of Lovey Smith and Lovey Smith former team, and actually before we get your best bet here says you have a prediction when it comes to the NFL draft, I want you to just throw this out to everybody I'm not even going to respond to it I'm going to let it marinate for everybody's ears, and then we'll get into your best bet, so just go ahead within ten to fifteen years, the NFL will implement a. Lottery where they'll have the ping pong balls like the NBA, and you're not gonNA be guaranteed the number one pick with the worst record so ten to fifteen years. The NFL have a lottery that according to Steve Fez. Fez Best Bet Lovey Smith related his former team. The Chicago bears. What are you got? Chicago bears season when the bears are going to go under eight wins Jonas. The bears are overrated. They went eight eight last year and I. I hear the talk. Hey, foles could be an upgrade over trubisky. Shouldn't the bears win more than eight Games will possibly, but here's the problem Jonas the. The bears won eight games last year, but they really should have only one six. The bears had three fortunate wins because they got to play Detroit's backup. quarterbacks driscoll BLAU and week seventeen. The Vikings didn't play anyone. You talk about emptying the bench, and because of that the bears got three tainted winds on the bears under eight.

Colorado is stunk. Thank in colorado state has been kind of wishy washy in the mountain west <hes> you would never see that between like northern you went to northern illinois. Oh you would see that in a game between northern illinois and you have i right yeah no. I don't think i've seen any gun getting football games where the teams were like even in tailgating getting knocking. Everyone gets along during tailgating and you know why you have. I would never do that because then i you because you have the university of illinois they would never agree to a game game with the northern illinois huskies. I mean we're calling out lovey smith here basically lovey smith go to cal prove that you're a better team team than somebody else in the state of illinois this year that needed to happen a couple of years ago. I just think that that's a little bit laughable because they don't really win the they didn't really really win the con- the mac conference year in and year out to the point where you know like they're like boise state where there's so much better when you have to say. It is interesting watching, how the team in the infield reacts when he throws a ball field all over the place. I'll be gotta be a joke that he wanna contest or something like what is he on the field that I'm pretty sure probably didn't win the contest. Like I got a look him off. And here's Aaron Boone. But at the end of the day, if it's a player that's going to be worth their salt and a guy that you're going to invest in long-term and a spot it's going to be more often than not someone that wants to be coached at a high level and someone that wants to play at a high level, and it's. But I like to bring your attention that Josh mccown did a retrospective in New York Times or New York Post recently, and he listed all the players, and coaches that influenced the most now I like to remind you that he actually listed lovey Smith and talking in Tuesday's most impressionable coaches was lovey Smith, Marc Trestman, of course, two thousand thirteen year where he did really well and John FOX not because he played with John because he played with Johnny. That's the only playoff game in which the bears have ever beaten the eagles. This'll be the fourth all time playoff game between the bears and the eagles bears are just one and two. This rivalry goes back all the way to nineteen thirty three or the bears have actually dominated this series. And it's his fourteen in one how about in the playoffs. So just one and two in the fog bowl was the only win right? And remember in two thousand one the eagles came here with a young Donovan McNabb young. "Tuesday in a matter of moments at the top of the hour, right here on ESPN one thousand I see. The quiet litter passes physical with the raptors making a blockbuster deal official that Leonard is officially a trial raptor I don't know. How long he's going to stay with the raptors but I think it makes even, more compelling we talk about, Yonathan into coupons from Milwaukee being terrific star for the east and what Philadelphia and. Boston bring, to the table Coalisland in Toronto can only increase. Their chances of doing some damage. In the, east especially a healthy quiet Leonard It's an odd character but I know he could play ball definitely the top ten guy other thing is is that Kevin love got paid today to Kevin love excited to build with this Cavaliers team that'll be interesting to see how that. Works I get major deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers so he's a face of the Cavs even though it's kind of like. Will Smith at the last episode of fresh prince of Bel-Air looking, around saying Where'd everybody go so it's kind.
