"Need to know about now here's your host Ryan on listen to long term care radio in the past you probably know that I grew up in Colorado where I grew up in monta Vista Colorado where the St Louis valley southern Colorado in my father was a logger and my mom and dad grew up in this little town called creek Colorado which was a mining town in the mountains were just part of my life my father because he he was a lawyer he worked in the mountains so that was working in a recreation when we went out and did something would go fishing or or go spend time in the mountains it was just always part of our life then I moved up to fort Collins and went to Colorado State University lived there for basically about six years total and then moved to Chicago when I was talking about that last weekend on the show I got in the mortgage business there what would I love Chicago Matt just spent two years there and I came back to Colorado and I spent about six months there before I moved out to Seattle and during that time this was nineteen ninety four the home land rover had started bringing back the Land Rover defender which is you know sport utility vehicle kind of like a jeep and they haven't sold those in the United States for a long time in me and I just coveted this thing I used to sit there and a lot of downtime when them I love Chicago it's living with my parents you know just hi gene and spend the time in the mountains it's really taken any and I dream car magazines and I just had all the stats down on this defender I decided that's what I wanted that was the perfect vehicle because not only were we used to go in the mountains we would go to very remote places my dad is a lawyer would go in and get these contracts and go up and roads in and hit find these little places we go fishing so I was just really in tune to that and man this is great here's this land over defender and had this to school image behind it was like the Marlboro man or something you know you gonna be driving around in a defender the problem is it can afford one I wasn't working at the time so I moved out here to Seattle in in the back of my mind I just kept you know the magazines and all these things on this land over into it someday you normally get a position where I can get one of those in in nineteen ninety six I started looking again I had you know it is working I had saved my money as pretty frugal and I thought you know this is a great time maybe I'll go start looking AT the Land Rovers well then I decided to start a business I said well this isn't a good time to do it right now so I'm gonna hold off again so the ninety seven things were going well in the business I said okay I'm telling them to go look at the Land Rover well guess what's the Land Rover defender the last year that they brought those over to the United States last year they sold was in nineteen ninety seven so I went down there and I'm all ready to go I've got it figured out how I'm gonna pay for how I'm gonna you know do what I want to the options and color everything well I couldn't get it and there was none in stock and the only one that they had in the in the entire area was already sold and and I said well is there any way you could get me one of the like non we'll do a nationwide search and guess what none none were available I had just waited too long so I ended up buying a nineteen ninety seven Land Rover discovery which was our little more civilized version of the defender and I will tell you right now I still have that nineteen ninety seven Land Rover defender of the first vehicle I ever bought it paid thirty thousand dollars for today that vehicle is worse maybe three thousand dollars on a trade and I still have it less than a hundred thousand miles on it still in good shape it's been a wonderful vehicle for me but the point is if I would have bought that ninety seven defender that I really wanted if I would've been able to get that that car would cost me probably a thousand dollars less than the car that I bought in it be worth maybe fifty to seventy five thousand dollars today if it was in good condition like minus so I tell you what I was just shocked when I saw this because I actually might my daughter has a friend that heard her dad bought one and the same thing he bought in nineteen ninety seven he's had the easy original owner of and he saw my my Land Rover discovery and we're kind of laughing about it said yeah mine's worth like twenty five hundred dollar shoes worth like seventy five thousand and he's had so many offers to buy it and the point is I just you know we eat just really stinks when you miss out on something like that in the reason why I talk about that is because we get this every single week we have people that have waited too long to put a long term care plan in place and I'm going to route this week I've got several people this week that have stacked up where I can maybe get one person qualified can get the other person qualified or they're both not going to qualify and there's a lot that goes into this that I think people don't understand so we're going to spend a little bit of time today talking about some of the misconceptions about long term care planning and why you need to consider putting a plan in place to day verses waiting to put a plan in place out there and I got a great question from Alex over in port orchard that really just start getting me thinking about the show so I'm gonna dedicate the show to him before we get there though I want to spend a little bit of time talking about our classes in June we are going to roll into June here in a couple days believe it or not and so our next class is June tenth at three o'clock in the afternoon that's a Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock after that we're gonna have a class on Saturday June twentieth at nine AM in the morning so we're mixing it up a little bit Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock and then ten days later we'll have the Saturday morning at nine o'clock now both of these classes are the same classes that we teach life it's just that because of the covert situation we are doing it over the web in our I am still going to limit the number of people that can sign up for these classes because we want to be able to get to the questions at the end of the class and really with the classes about it's you know teaching you about what long term care is what he is for explaining the different options the asset based hybrid the traditional plants the state partnership programs and just kind of going over all that stuff because we believe a five to five advisors that we want to start with education meeting get educated about the subject matter first so you don't get sold something that isn't what you want you know it's like I I there's probably a few people to go out and buy a car without doing any research or have an idea what they want but you can offer me that's hard to imagine him for long term care planning that's the first step in our processes get educated about the subject matter so you understand a little bit about what we're talking about you're doing that by listening to long term care radio you can do it through our website and you can do it through our webinars and then when you're ready we will start that process and design a custom plan for you but I've got two classes coming up in June on the tenth in on the twentieth all that information is available on our website at five to five.

"We don't have seizures. But if for any type of condition are seizure threshold goes down, then we will be prone to having seizures as mentioned seizures are just you know, manifestation of the problem or just a symptom and underlying cause. There are many different causes for it. But just to put them in too big group of diseases that would be practical for pet owners to understand is seizures either could have an underlying cause. And that underlying cause could be many different things, you know, from brain disease to is out of the brain. Which in a couple of minutes. We're gonna you know mentioned solve the more common ones or what's called an idiopathic epilepsy. Paddock uplift. See means, you know, s seizure of unknown origin, which is genetic and Origen, you know. So there is no structural abnormality. With the brain what it is. It's an abnormal chemical activity or electrical activity of the brain and with idiopathic epilepsy. What happens is you don't have an underlying disease to tweets after pet needs treatment is gonna be symptomatic treatment of the seizures would anticlimactic medications which. Fortunately in this day and age we have many different options. So we definitely try to establish a treatment plan that is appropriate for that dog based on the nature of the seizures. And what other conditions going on with the dog? You know, we had the end of the day we have to take everything into concentration. How's the dogs bloodwork kidney values, Louis valleys, and so forth? The other, you know, conditions are when there's an underlying reason for seizures. And when we divide them, we call them, either intra cranial, meaning disease is happening in the brain. Those are the ones that are more straightforward people. At least understand better, you know, unfortunately with older pets, we see brain tumors strokes as we discussed at the start of this conversation and stuff elitest meningitis just a term for information or infection of the brain and many more conditions. So those are the conditions that directly affected. A breed as a consequence of that the pet could have seizures or other neurological conditions, but the other thing is extra cranial causes those are disease as out of the brain that the effective rain. And you know, they could cause a seizure is one of the more common. Things would be what's called a portrait systemic shot, for example, like in small breed or Topi dogs specially younger ones, sometimes they could have an abnormal vessel that bypasses deliver. And as we know liver. You know has a job of filtering a lot of the by products in the brain. So if some of the abnormal by products, which are toxic to the brain do not get filtered an end up in the bloodstream, they could affect the breed and caused seizures for example is called hypnotic and stuff LOP at the meeting seizure that comes from or brain disease that comes from liver problems. So that's one of the things we see little blood sugar, you know, regardless of the cost that could. The another reason for seizures and many more that could be the extra cranial or two diseases out of the printer call the seizure. So when we address issues your case, we kind of comprehensive workup, I we do a neurological exam on a dog and see these unday examination. Do we see any hint of any abnormalities where the brain, and if you see some abnormal neurological findings that's oftentimes indication that there might be a primate brain disease. Then the patient will need a full blood, work dot CBC chemistry and sometimes additional thyroid panel or test of liver function. Oftentimes, this is done by primary veterinarian family, and the first does the blood work. And then if the blood work is normal, they get referred to us for further case, and sometimes it's done by us. And then if everything is, you know under remarkable. And doesn't explain the seizures? The next step is to look for primary brain issues, and that's been the MRI to look for, you know, structural brain abnormalities or spinal tap, which looks for evidence of encephalitis or meningitis is done. And the combination of these tests in most cases, allow us to either identify underlying reason for the seizure untreated to the best of our ability. Which many of these conditions are quite treatable manageable. Or if we rule everything else out and everything is normal. That's you know, how we can objectively diagnosed idiopathic epilepsy idiopathic epilepsy for the most part is a diagnosis of exclusion. When we exclude all the other at finding out that people were oftentimes most concerned about their pets being in pain. And I've always said that seizures we can honestly say are not painful unless they fall down hurt themselves at cetera. Because. We can talk to people who have seizures and say is the seizure process itself painful, and my response to people has always been seizures are not painful in my corrected that yes, you are. So seizures oftentimes are not painful. I would say probably more difficult for the people and a household to see it. And it's could be quite devastating based on how people with seizures of people with epilepsy. They feel you know, definitely they could be a face before the seizure that the app the patient or patient or the pet could feel abnormal at for lack of better term could feel awkward or Spacey. But the actual seizure episode is not painful at for the great speaking right now with Dr alley gorging. He's aboard certified veteran urologist and neurosurgeon and.

"Dr gordon. Thank you. This is a topic. I think is really important so many people whenever there's anything going on with their nervous system. Get so so nervous. Well, let's start off with dog and cat neurological systems how similar to ours a human being. That's the question actually, get on routine basis from my clients and pet owners to and fundamentally the nervous system of most mammals. They have more similarities than differences so dog and cat nervous system, which includes the brain the spinal cord and nerves along with some other components to it are quite similar to our nervous system. Having said that also some noticeable differences and even amongst our patients amongst different animals, even between dogs and cats. There are some differences between them to and what that translates into is because of that the type and group of diseases that each species get, although there are a lot of things in common. But also there could be a lot of differences between them and one of the examples that we see it quite often clinically is for exam. Apple and dogs. We see much more disease processes that arise from immune system to called autoimmune or immune mediated diseases compared to cast or people and the list goes on and on fascinating. Because there are times as I'm trying to explain things. But for instance, strokes people always want to know do pets get strokes. And I used to say not really, and I understand that. Now, they're thinking that. Yes, they do is that correct? That is actually a very interesting question and short answer is. Yes. Even when I was in vet school, which at least I like to think it wasn't too long ago. But it's getting quite up there. I remember vividly one of my classes, and I was told that dogs do not get stroke. I was I was awake. When they said that. All right, exactly. And I was awake to and that was an initially a lot of times we thought that you know, dogs and cats don't get stroke or. It's extremely rare them and what really allowed us to identify this. A lot more is we d- advancement of imaging which is, you know, MRI being readily available in veterinary medicine, and after we started imaging these patients be realized that strokes do happen. A lot more. You know, often that we thought still compared to people strokes are less common and dogs and cats, but we see them clinically all the time. And you know, when we talked about stroke, two types of strokes that, you know, our patients get comfort to people could also be a little bit different. You know, for example, and dogs and cats more often, we get schemic strokes or schemic infarctions of their brain. And people, you know, aneurysms happen quite commonly, which are you know, raring castle. Sometimes it's comparing apples and oranges the types of strokes. But. But still strokes happen commonly. And we see them on clinical says, you know, all the time and pets is you could be so kind is to define what is a stroke. You mentioned schemic aneurysms in these may be terms that my listeners aren't familiar with. So yes, so stroke is basically a common term for some sort of vascular accident, you know, some sort of, you know, disturbance in the blood supply, you know, to the brain or too nervous system, but for the most part of brain, and, you know, the different than dab as when we say schemic stroke at means lack of blood supply to that part of the rain. So for various reasons, you know, it may be an ambulance. Maybe Trump something causing a disturbance of blood supply to that part of the brain. And that is the type of stroke that we see more commonly in our patients. You know, the other type of stroke is an aneurysm, which that's, you know, bleeding into the brain or into the nervous system, and they could have various causes going on. And that is the type of stroke that does happen our patients, but it's quite as much much less common, and it's much more common and human patients or primates, what are some of the most common neurological diseases that are affecting the pet sitter seen so nor logical diseases or little bit interesting and different than some of the other conditions. And because you know, sometimes it sounds like real state, but it's all about location location of the problem dictates the clinical signs that either us as a clinician or the clients could see independent is suffering from so obviously based on the other line cause the onset of the disease. The progression of it and outcome could be quite different. But symptoms are going to be very similar. So I will put them in categories of clinical science, you know, which is easily recognizable to pet owner or to the client, and they will include prowess. You know, that's one of the more common conditions that we see, and it could be hind and paralysis or could be proud of, you know, all four limbs and other thing, which is kind of close by little different is weak and wobbly gait, whereas we call at Perry says add a tax ya again. Just a fancy term for weakness s. And other common group of diseases symptoms that I see is severe or ongoing pain that is not responsive to, you know, regular management case is that they do have back pain, neck pain, or sometimes really initially declined. It's unknown where the pain is originating from and, you know, obviously when you have a painful patient, the first person to go is your family veterinarian. But sometimes when the pain does not respond normally or as expected to man's and becomes a chronic pain or a very severe pain death. Those are cases that often present to us for further diagnostics and care and the other two conditions that we see quite frequently seizures. Seizures are you know, very wide group of conditions. They could have very different underlying causes and different outcomes. But at the end of the time seizure is just an abnormal electrical activity in the brain that manifest itself in many different forms. But the most common type of seizures that at least we recognize that a pet owner recognizes that a so called grand mal generalized seizure when the patient has convulsions and the body goes through that process, although Caesar's could present in many different ways. And it's one of the very, you know, devastating conditions for a pet owner for the pet alike, and the other you since we could ask talk about five most common conditions, the fifth one would be the stabler disease, and, you know, similar to vertigo event and a person oftentimes it could be very severe vertigo event. And again, like Caesar's Stiller disease is more. More of a syndrome. It tells you about the symptoms that we see with this condition, and it could have different underlying causes. So it goes back to my initial conversation with neurological disease, sometimes you see the symptoms, but the symptoms could be from different types of disease processes, if they're affecting that location of the brain or spinal cord and our job is to based on our exam pinpoint where the problem is coming from. And then what their dish all diagnostic that we can offer. Find out what daughter line is in order to get the best return at the best outcome available. And you'll one of the most frustrating aspects when pets present to me with these various clinical signs is trying to especially if it's early on. Why is this a pet that maybe has brain tumor? Does it have a stroke of it something like the issue? Does it have an earache? So what are? Some of the signs people should look for home. When they say I've been seeing this now for a little bit is just off or do I need to see a veterinarian. And that's a very good question. And actually, it's something that boats. You know, my clients to pet owners we always do it and always a question and solve these conditions. The happen when the pet becomes older. So that's always a question that it gets on my clients to initially. You're not sure is this just a normal aging process pet is doing this because he or she is getting older, whereas this disease process. So I would say first things first if there is anything abnormal at least this is my philosophy. I would rather get a false alarm, then miss something important. So for my clients, always tell them give me a call leave me a message at least let me know. Hey, fluffy, having decides. And then you know, I can tell them dad Witter. It's something to be worried about or not. So I assume a lot of times, you know, their primary would be the best first person to contact. But sometimes these cases could be so vague that even for veterinarian is hard to say, okay. Is this something significant or not and what I would recommend for most of my clients to do is. I think if a pet is doing anything that looks or peers abnormal, especially these days with you know, almost everyone having a smartphone and cameras and video cameras being widely available videotape. It, you know, it's always sometimes, you know, looking at thirty seconds of the video is more informative than a listening to a five minute. Description of that episode were event going on at home. Totally agree with you. They walked through the door. I tell you about it. But to see that picture like yes now, I understand what you're trying to tell me. Absolutely get like like some of us are better. But, you know, more descriptive and others, but the videos don't lie and oftentimes they could be very informative. So I always kind of when I have cases got the symptom sound really vague based on Dino on some of these things could be episodic. So by the time to add comes to our hospitals are normal at that time. I always encouraged him to videotape them send them to me. And then based on the nature of those episodes for me to make recommendations to them. The other thing is if fifty see any trends wet, you know, that's happening. You know, does it is this something that happens with activity? Does it happen during rest is there? Anything like eating it could trigger it to happen. Because all these things could be meaningful. To D doctor and to try to figure out what type of problem, we were pet may be at dealing with one of probably the most common neurological issues that I see are seizures and people see this at home, especially that's the typical what they think of the typical grandma all falling over paddling pooping, sometimes crying out. It seems to last for half an hour. Maybe it's just a matter of moments. You're mentioned that seizures are just a burst of spontaneous electrical activity in the brain. I'd really love to have you kind of discussed seizures as possible causes always need to be treated. What what are seizures working people do? Yes. So seizures are one of the most could be one of the most challenging conditions that we deal with both medically and emotionally because you know, having a pet with seizures. It's very difficult. For you know, the members of the household too. And it could be devastating to the pet owners the kids in the family or so so with seizures as you mentioned just kind of an abnormal of spontaneous electrical activity in the brain. And you know, all of us, you know, have what's called a seizure thresholds? You know, and as long as activity in the threshold are in balance with each other. We don't have seizures. But if for any type of condition are seizure threshold goes down, then we will be prone to having seizures as mentioned seizures are just you know, manifestation of the problem or just a symptom and underlying cause. There are many many different causes for it. But just to put them in too big group of diseases that would be practical for pet owners to understand is seizures either could have an underlying cause and that underlying causes could be many different things, you know, from brain disease to diseases out of the brain which in a couple of minutes. We're gonna you know mentioned solve the more common ones or be what's called in idiopathic epilepsy. Idiopathic epilepsy means, you know, s seizure of unknown origin, which is genetic and origin. You know? So is no structural abnormality. Would appreciate what it is. It's an abnormal chemical activity or electrical activity of the brain and with idiopathic epilepsy. What happens is you don't have an underlying disease to tweets after pet needs treatment is going to be symptomatic treatment of the seizures would anti-epileptic medications which. Fortunately in this day and age we have many different options. So we definitely try to stab list a treatment plan that is appropriate for that dog based on the nature of the seizures. And what other conditions going on with the dog? You know, we had to end up the day we have to take everything into concentration. How's the dogs bloodwork kidney values? Louis valley's. I'm so forth. The other, you know, conditions are when there's an underlying reason for seizures..

"I've got a UFO story that back in one thousand nine hundred seventy two August. I remember I was up taking pictures of the moon, and I came around this corner. And here I thought I saw the moon off to my lab. Laughed and realize the moon was behind the end. It was all hanging over a house just hovering there. And I pulled over I stopped. I watched it for about fifteen minutes. I got out of the car forgot all about the camera in the back of the car sat on the hood watch. This thing about seventy feet across perfect sphere. And then I heard in my head something go, we gotta go. And I said to myself something's going to happen. And I climbed back into car and about that time em down and started moving. No, nothing, and I could tell it wasn't into sky because every below the tree line with the trees behind it. It wasn't a moon. I chase. And I got up to a hundred and twenty and it pulled away from me like I was standing still while see that's what's so amazing about these stories MAC, people are actually witnessing things. I mean, here's a guy when one hundred twenty miles an hour to try to catch. This don't do that folks. But our need something's happening. Right. Right. You know, one person told me right after we came from one time that that after nine eleven the every points from military pilots went up a dramatic way. And not that you oppose had anything to do with nine eleven. But the fact was was that they were just more about military jets in the air around the clock back then to make sure it didn't happen again. And therefore more military pilots up there. Boy, you have seen that just tells me that you know, these things are there. Everyone always wants to think that you oppose hide from us. But they're not. They're around us all the time. People see them all the time. They sure do military pilots are the best. You know, witnesses to these things what do you think of these UFO's that have shut down missile silos? Well, yeah, we did a chapter in that in your time. That's a fascinating story about a. The topic for several bucks. Oh my God. It's true. You know, I mean people lots of people witnessed UFO's going over nuclear basis in in the midwest. And and literally shutting down the targeting systems of how it systems to nuclear deterrence really serious, you know, reaching out security, but it also happened to the Russians to and that's a very strange here is almost like something out. There is trying to say, we know what these things have you have to know that we can control them to. Let's go to Joe in Monterey, California. Hey Joseph welcome to the program. Hi, MAC you. You're very interesting, man. A lot of good work doing have you? I have so many questions, and so many things have you ever heard of several other areas other than the Bermuda? Triangle and also I have a friend who used to photograph UFO's. His name is he goes under the Monaco saw gel eighteen and he used to work in a four Texan photograph ghosts and stuff. You know, there's a there's a triangle that is off the coast of Japan. It's almost a perfect. Triangle bet a lotta strange things have happened. There were people who are always in search of the continent of MU 'em, you kind of civic version of Atlantis in people who thinks that they have found that say that there's a lot of UFO sightings USO settings as we're talking about early on. Just seems to be you know, for want of a better word hot spots around the around the world where not just up oh activity for paranormal activity seems to peak at certain times and commute. Triangle seems to be one of them to Saint Louis valley. Colorado seems to be another one certainly sale Kirk triangle in Scotland where they see what your phone than anywhere else in the world. Is one of them. So, you know, why some places on another? You know, who knows what part of the home, big puzzle. We've got Joe in Long Island New York, east of the Rockies Europe. Joe? Yeah. Hi, MAC on the military issues. Asif right now, there's subs rushing sobs up around, grandma, or whatever that they say they can't detect on that they can initially detect them, and I can't attack them and just referencing the previous segment, I was thinking of the movie Lawrence of Arabia. You know, where you can, you know, the actor the people in the movie a contending with extreme elements the desert, and I relate that to the Middle East today. You know, we're pouring tremendous armor mentioned to the place Saudi Arabia as an example, and I'm just referencing. What topography that's tough to deal with 'em relation to military exercises. And another thing with that is people Minnesota. Talking about people go out and snowmobiles, and you know, harsh conditions weatherwise. What happens if the snowmobile breaks down? What are they gonna do? Walk back, like eight miles. Yeah. It's funny because we are talking the other day in preparing for the show when someone said, well, you know, the next the next confrontation between the superpowers there's going to be in the Arctic. In fact, it's already heading in that direction and someone said, well, how can you put a secret base in the Arctic? How can you keep it supplied and keep it secret? And they said, well, actually, what it is is now we have mobile she could basis called submarines and they outfitted to to stay on station up in the hash. Kind of environment matter where it is stay there and service the secret base until they don't have to do it any more than they just say on. So the whole idea of what the Pacers were previously. What they're going to be in the future. Basically, we're going to have movable underwater secret basis doing a lot of the work, especially in high should vitamins, and I think that's happening back. Yeah. I do. Me now that the melting is taking place in Siberia, they're gonna start sending you know, Congo ships. I'd like the short way to Europe, and those basically over the top of the world, it just shows you how the environment has changed and how no some people wanna stack lay claim to territory up there in your work. Did you come across any strange stories of any spiritual or religious overtones? Well, apparitions of the virgin area or anything like that. Well, they we go into detail about the the whole the the citing that Fatima what happened in Fatima Portugal. Sun coming down that all that stuff. Yeah. Yeah. People saw I mean, they're the people would go to the certain grotto in Portugal on the same day every month and more and more people would see these very odd things speech children who said blessed Virgin Mary there, and then just kind of built. Along those lines for about a year. And then, you know, there was one point where there were thirty thousand people in this field, and they including newspapers were anti religious newspapers, doesn't it turns out, but they swear they saw the sun dance in the sky. Come so close to people that had dried their closed, some rain and things like that. And when you take the religious element data that it just sounds like a spectacular UFO sightings. So once again, lots of people and even photographs were taken that day. So who knows what it is? It might have been nationalization, and I don't think you can capture that what a good point Liles with us now in Salt Lake City. Hi, leo. Go ahead. Hey, how you doing George? Great. Thank you. I was gonna ask a question about Dugway. But I'm going to save that for another night. 'cause I really wanna pick that brain of yours MAC. You're very smart, man. Thank you. Are you familiar with the grinning man, phenomenon the grinning, man? No, no, I'm not. Yes. It's a phenomenon that scene George Georgia's never heard of it either. But have you heard of the story of ears? Fred. The aliens that he saw in Italy. He was a security guard. And he saw these these crazy aliens there was another guy named I think his last name was defraying or something. But he saw these men that that have been associated with men in black, and they wear these shiny green, suits and things you should really look into it. Because I don't know enough about it. And it's very hard for me to find any kind of research about it. And I figured you would would probably know, but it's just a strange phenomenon that they they come to people, and they talk to them, and they they give them these names like injured cold, and and Karl Aldo they stay might be time travelers, but they they basically these cryptic kind of, you know, be careful with your future. And and, you know, watch the skies, and these these kind of, you know, these strange messages, they're all cryptic, but you should look into it. It's very strange. Definitely well, yeah. Thanks for the tip. Appreciate that. Check into the grinning man to I think I will to MAC. That's how that's sounds like a scary thing. Yeah. Sure. Oak park oak park, Michigan. They have a boo bash for Halloween and kids. Come and people come all dressed up in all kinds of costumes. They have banned clown, costumes, right? Okay. Because they just say the too scary too creepy, isn't that weird? Yeah. Well, there's that climb craze there about a year and a half ago. So I actually two years ago now where people are seeing creepy clowns everywhere doing strange things too scary. Thanks mac. The clock is ticking ticking ticking, give out your website.

"Welcome back. Our final segment with MAC Maloney as we talk about Mack Maloney's haunted universe and your calls as well. Back. Tell us about the man eating tree of Madagascar. What's that all about? Is out there. Awhile. He's not there. She'll give them a call back and see what we can do. But meantime, let's go to the call. So let's go to Charles in Elgin, Texas. Hey, Charles, welcome to the program. If he if he had had some knowledge of he had become aware of anything related to where some of this technology that we've acquired from UFO's has been, you know, sequestered and protected because at one time I was asked I myself was asked if I would help destroy it. There's some people in the military, unfortunately, that tend to believe this technology is demonic, and they want to they want to destroy it. I mean, it kind of has to do with their religious beliefs. I guess and I wondered if I declined, of course, but a lot of people think these things are demonic Charles. But you yeah, you're on the fence. Well, the thing is I don't I there's some of these some of this technology. I feel that we need to we need to hang onto and try to figure it out and bet reverse engineered and all that I don't feel like we need to just go Johnson going destroy it just because it's some kind of religious I tend to think of it as somewhat irrational religious belief, but there are people at very high levels in the military, and other places that that tend to believe that you know, that this is the sort of stuff we should just destroy it rather than try to figure it out and see if we can get some kind of good use. And I believe that they're seeking there could be some kind of way to use it. Well, or you just use it cautiously, you know, with with the appropriate constraints and considerations. But so I don't know. It's just a. But I was a little bit. Part of the reason why they asked me was because I might have I'm Mike Gabel? It more easily access some of these places. Well, that's that's an interesting take to be sure. As so MAC, you're back with us. I am. Yep. Thanks judge. So tell us about the man eating tree about a gas car. Well, believe it or not there. There's like a plant that Costa those plants that eat plies and Venus Flytrap. Yes, actually, a tree. And there are reports that these things to close small animals all the way up to you know, children. And so on that this single wrap you up and literally digestion. Those things are always fascinated me. I mean, I do they do they, you know, they have like tentacles grab you. Yep. Yep. And you're just gets in a sap that is very sticky. And so you can't get away, and they just kind of wrap you up, and then you're gone gosh. Other regions of the country that are more haunted than other regions. Or is it the same all over the place? Wow, good question. It seems to be, you know, kinda universally scattered all over the globe. Certainly go star. General. I thought up almost every culture. Sure. That would actually be a good question. I'd have more places on this earth that a more haunted than I would sometimes think the east coast in that region would be more haunted. I don't know. But I think were Gettysburg is. And things like that just seems to be more strange haunting going on there. The UK just talking about a very hunted place. Maybe that's the time to place in the world. People seem more UFO's any other place in Scotland there's lots of ghost stories, lots of military ghost stories coming out of the UK and quesadillas Asians been there for so long these things build up, you know. But if now that you ask the question if I could pick a pot of world that's the most haunted. I would take the UK next up. We go to Ernie truck. Driving in Washington. First time caller, Ernie. Thanks. Go ahead. Yeah. George either and your guests. I've got a UFO story that back in hundred seventy two August. I remember I was up taking pictures of the moon, and I came around this corner. And here I thought I saw them move off to my. Laughed and realize the moon look behind me, and it was a UFO hanging over a house just hovering there. And I pulled over I stopped. I watched for about fifteen minutes. I got out of the car forgot all about the camera in the back of the car sat on the hood watch. This thing it was about seventy feet across perfect sphere. And then I heard in my head something go, we gotta go. And I said to myself something's going to happen. And I climbed back into car and about that time him down and started moving. No, nothing, and I could tell it wasn't into sky because it was below the tree line with the trees behind it. It wasn't a moon. Oh, I I gave chase. And I got up to one hundred twenty and it pulled away from me. Like, I was standing still while see that's what's so amazing about these stories MAC, people are actually witnessing things. I mean, here's a guy went one hundred twenty miles an hour to try to catch. This don't do that folks. But are mean something's happening. Right, right. You know, one person told me right after we came out with you all the time that that after nine eleven the every ports from military pilots of yours went up and dramatic way. And not that you oppose had anything to do with nine eleven. But the fact was was that they were just more about military jets in the air round the clock back then to make sure it didn't happen again. And therefore more military pilots up there. Boy, UFO's I seen that just tells me that you know, these things are there. Everyone always wants to think that you oppose hide them us. But they're not. They're around us all the time. People see them all the time. They sure do military pilots are the best. You know, witnesses to these things what do you think of these UFO's that have shut down missile silos? Well, yeah, we did a chapter in that in your post and a fascinating story talking about the. The topic for several bucks. No my God. It's true. You know, I mean people lots of people witness UFO's going over nuclear basis in in the mid west, and and literally shutting down the targeting systems, the power systems to nuclear deterrent, really serious. You know, reaching out security, but it also happened to the Russians to and that's a very strange here. It's almost like something out. There is trying to say, we know what these things have you have to know that we can control them to. Let's go to Joe in Monterey, California. Hey Joseph welcome to the program. Hi, MAC you. Triangle, and also I have a friend who used to photograph UFO's his name is he goes under the Monaco gel eighteen and he used to work in a four Texan photograph ghosts and stuff. Uh-huh. You know, there's a there's a triangle that is off the coast of Japan. It's almost a perfect. Triangle bet a lotta strange things have happened. There were people who are always in search of the continent of of MU 'em, you kinda the Pacific version of Atlantis and people who think that they have found that say that there's also citing USO settings as we're talking about early on. And when you take the religious element that of that it just sounds like a spectacular UFO, citing. So once again, why do people and even photographs taken that day? So who knows what it is? It might have been NASA listening, but I don't think you can capture that what a good point Liles with us now in Salt Lake City. Hi, leo. Go ahead. Hey, how you doing George? Great. Thank you. I was gonna ask a question about Dugway. But I'm going to save that for another night. 'cause I really wanna pick that brainy years Mack. You're very smart, man. Thank you. Are you familiar with the grinning man, phenomenon the grinning, man? No, no, I'm not it's a phenomenon that scene, George George never heard of it either. But have you heard of the story of ears them the aliens that he saw in Italy? Go he was a security guard. And he saw these these crazy aliens there was another guy named I think his last name was defraying or something. But he saw these men that that have been associated with men in black, and they wear these shiny green, suits and things you should really look into it. Because I don't know enough about it. And it's very hard for me to find any kind of research about it. And I figured you would probably know, but if just a strange phenomenon that they they come to people, and they talk to him, and they they give them these names like injured cold, and and Karl Aldo they stay might be time travelers, but they they basically cryptic kind of, you know, be careful with your future. And and, you know, watch the skies, and these these kind of these strange messages, they're all cryptic, but you should look into it. It's very strange. Definitely well, yeah. Thanks for the tip. Appreciate them. Check into the grinning man to I think I will to MAC. How's that sounds like a scary thing? Yeah. Sure. Oak park, Michigan. "Hundred. KFI AM six forty. And welcome back. Our final segment with MAC Maloney as we talk about back Maloney's, haunted universe and your calls as well back. Tell us about the man eating tree of Madagascar. What's that all about? At there. Well, he's not there. So we'll give them a call back and see what we can do. But meantime, let's go to the call. So let's go to Charles and Elgin, Texas. Hey, Charles, welcome to the program. If he if he had had some. Knowledge of he had become aware of anything related to where some of this technology that we've acquired from UFO's has been you know, requested and protected because one time I was asked I myself was asked if I would help destroy it. There's some people in the military, unfortunately, that tend to believe this technology is demonic, and they want to they want to destroy. I mean, it kind of has to do with their religious beliefs. I guess and I wondered if I declined, of course, that a lot of people think these things are demonic Charles. But you yeah. On the fence. Well, the thing is I don't I there's some these some of the technology. I feel that we need to we need to hang onto and try to figure it out and reverse engineered and all that I don't feel like jumping going destroy it just because it's some kind of religious I tend to think of it as something like irrational religious belief, but there are people at very high levels in the military, and other places that that tend to to believe that you know, that this sort of stuff we should just destroy it rather than try to figure it out and see if we can get some kind of good use. And I believe there could be some kind of way to use it. Well, or just use it hospice Lee. You know, what the appropriate constraints and and considerations? But so I don't know. It's just a. But I was a little bit. Part of the reason why they asked me was because I might have I might be able to more easily access some of these places. Well, that's that's an interesting take to be sure. As so MAC, you're back with us. I am. Yup. Thanks garage. So tell us about the man eating tree about a gas car. Well, believe it or not there. There's like a plant does host plants that e plies and Venus Flytrap, but yes, it's actually a tree. And there are reports that these things that he can close them. Sprawl animals all the way up to you know, children and so on, but they single wrap you up and literally digestion. Those things have always fascinated me. I mean, I do they do they, you know, they have like tentacles and grab you. Yep. Yep. And you're just gets in sap that is very sticky. And so you can't get away, and they just kind of wrap you up, and and you're gone gosh. Other regions of the country that are more haunted than other regions. Or is it the same all over the place? Wow, good question. It seems to be know kinda universally scattered all over the globe. Certainly go star general. I had up almost every culture. Sure. That would actually be a good question. I that more. The places on this earth that have more haunt. I would sometimes think the east coast in that region would be more haunted. I don't know. But I think were Gettysburg is in things like that just seems to be more strange haunting going on there. The UK y'all just talking about a very hunt place. Maybe that's the time to place in the world. People see more than any other place in Scotland there's lots of ghost stories, lots of military ghost stories coming out of the UK quesadillas actions been there for so long these things build up, you know. But if now that you ask the question if I could part of the world that's the most haunted took the UK next. Stop we go to Ernie truck. Driving in Washington. First time caller, Ernie. Thanks. Go ahead. Yeah. Hi, George either and your guests. I've got a UFO story that act in one thousand nine hundred seventy two August. I remember I was up taking pictures of the moon, and I came around this corner. And here I thought I saw the moon off to my lab. Laughed and realize the moon was behind me. And it was hanging over a house just hovering there. And I pulled over I stopped. I watched it for about fifteen minutes. I got out of the car forgot all about the camera in the back of the car that on the hood watch the thing about seventy feet across. Sphere. And then I heard in my head something go, we gotta go. And I said to myself something's going to happen. And I climbed back into car and about that time em down and started moving. No, nothing. And I could tell it wasn't in the sky because if we below the tree line with the trees behind it. It wasn't a moon. Oh, I I gave chase. And I got up to one hundred twenty and it pulled away from me. Like, I was standing still. Wow. See, that's what's so amazing about these stories MAC, people are actually witnessing things. I mean, here's a guy one hundred and twenty miles an hour to try to catch. This don't do that folks. But our needs something's happening. Right. Right. You know, one person told me. Yeah. Right after we came on time that that after nine eleven the reports from military pilots of Europe. And dramatic way. And not that you oppose had anything to do with nine eleven. But the fact was was that they were just more about military jets in the air around the clock back then to make sure it didn't happen again. And therefore more military pilots up there for you oppose a scene that just tells me that you know, these things are there everyone always wants to thank you so much, but they're not they're around us all the time. People see them all the time. Sure, do pilots are the best witnesses to these things. What do you think of these UFO's that have shut down missile silos? Well, yeah, we did a chapter in that. Fascinating straight talk about the topic for several bucks. Oh my God. It's true. You know, I mean people lots of people witnessed your close going over nuclear basis and in the mid west and literally shutting down the targeting systems, but how it systems to nuclear deterrent, really serious, you know, reaching out security, but it also happened to the Russians to and that's a very strange here. It's almost like someone out. There is trying to say, we know what these things you have to know that we can control the two let's go to Joe in Monterey, California. Hey Joseph welcome to the program. Hi, MAC you. You're very interesting, man. A lot of good work. You're doing have you. I have so many questions so many things have you ever heard of several other areas other than the Bermuda? Triangle, and also I have a friend who used to photograph UFO's his name is he goes under the Monaco gel eighteen and he used to work in a four Texan photograph ghosts and stuff. You know, there's there's a triangle that is off the coast of Japan is almost a perfect triangle back a lot of strange things have happened. There are people who are always in search of the continent of MU 'em, you kind of a Pacific version of Atlantis people. Who think that they founded said that there's a lot of your also sightings USO settings as we're talking about early on. Just seems to be you know, for wanting a better word hot spots around the around the world where not just grew up activity, but paranormal activity seems to peak at certain times and commute. Triangle seems to be one of them to Saint Louis valley in Colorado seems to be another one certainly sale Kirk triangle in Scotland where they see what your phone than anywhere else in the world. Is one of them. So, you know, why some places I'm on another. You know, who knows what part of the home, big puzzle. We've got Joe in Long Island, New York, east of the Rockies and Europe. Joe? Yeah. Hi, MAC on the military issues. Asif right now, there's subs washing suburbs up around grand mind, or whatever that they say they can't detect them that they can initially detect him, and I can't attack them and just referencing the previous segment, I was thinking of the movie Lawrence of Arabia. You know, where you can, you know, the act of the people in the movie a contending with extreme elements, the desert, and I relate that to the Middle East today. You know, we're pouring tremendous armaments into the place Saudi Arabia as an example and just referencing. What? Topography that's tough to deal with immolation to military exercises. And another thing with that is people Minnesota, we're talking about people go out and snowmobiles, and you know, harsh conditions, weather wise. What happens if the snowmobile breaks down? What are they gonna do? Walk back, like eight miles. Yes. It's funny because we are talking day in preparing for the show and someone said, well, you know, the next the next competition between the superpowers is going to be in the Arctic. In fact, it's already heading in that direction. And someone said, well, how can you put a secret base in the act? How can you keep it supplied and keep it secret? And they said route actually whether it is is now we have mobile she good basis called submarines, and they outfitted to to stay on station up in the kind of environment where it is stay there in service the secret base until they don't have to do it any more than they just sale on. So the whole idea of what she faces were previously. What they're going to be in the future. Basically, we're going to have movable underwater secret basis doing a lot of the work, especially in high should vitamins, the yeah, I think that's happening back. Yeah. I do. The melting is taking place in Siberia, they're gonna start sending, you know, cargo ships. I'd like the short way to Europe, and those basically over the top of the world just shows you how the environment has changed and how now all of a sudden people wanna stack. Elaine claim to territory up there in your work. Did you come across any strange stories of any spiritual or religious overtones? Well, apparitions of the Virgin, Mary or anything like that. Well, they we go into detail about the the whole the the citing Fatima what happened in Fatima Portugal. Sun coming down that all that stuff. Yeah. Yeah. People saw. I mean, there was the people would go through the certain Ratto in Portugal on the same day every month and more and more people would see these very odd things speech who said they saw blessed Virgin Mary there, and it just kind of built. Along those lines for about a year and. You know, there was one point where there were thirty thousand people in this field, and they including newspapers were anti religious newspapers as it turns out, but they swear they saw the sun dance in the sky. Come so close to people that had drive their clone some rain and things like that. And when you take the religious element data that it just sounds like a spectacular UFO, citing. "I'm fairly sure he wasn't an alien human hybrid, but I'm fairly sure also. He probably had some kind of connection to all of this, and I just wonder, you know, we have humanoids around here who look human. We have a big apparent base off the Malibu coast. Something's going on. There could be a natural formation or even in ancient structure, nothing to do with any of this. We have people in weird people. It just can you kind of sum up what you think about this area. I wish I could just pull it onto one sentence, but gosh, it's just so complicated. There's layers and layers. I do know that known well known among the locals, certainly that there's a lot of activity in this area. And you know, Christopher O'Brien wrote a book called the about mysterious valley which followed up no his research into the San Louis valley, and I noticed commonality with this areas. Well, it's not just UFO's. It's crypto, zoology, there's ghost activity that's really at high levels in the Santa Monica mountain range. You know, religious miracles, the whole gamut of paranormal phenomena is taking place here. So gotta be some connection I hesitate to. I'm not of the school of shock volaille or John keel that this is one phenomenon that wears different masks and you know. Manifest differently. I think we're dealing with separate phenomena better interrelated. You don't. Maybe it's that there are ET's here who know about an understand that other phenomena and can interact with it, and that's how they're interrelated. But they're still basically tease, we've got a pretty good handle on the agenda thirty. It is. I think it's multiple agendas. There's definitely a genetic agenda. They're very interested in the human body. There's no doubt about that terms of the healing cases alone proved that. But when someone's taken on board and giving messages, they usually into, you know, pretty defined categories. For example, a lot of cases where people are taking into the engine room and told how it works. And in a few cases, you know, the commission is pretty expensive to the point where they come away from their experience, wanting to build something. I I know know a a guy. guy who did that worked on that for years. And of course there's the Integra Tron out in out in the desert near in in in the desert near here, bright one hundred fifty miles away. It was built by. UFO contact. He called George van Tassell and so you know, I, I also as I say, no, another guy who was shown exactly that and spent years trying to build it and didn't ever get anywhere with it as far as I know. So it happens. There's a lot of people come away from these experiences feeling learn Intelligence telling. has been boosted now interested in physics there. You know the mathematical problems like that physicist we're talking about. He's not the only one. There's Jack's our body as well. Yeah. Well, I, my wife was always very bright. She was very bright, but after our experiences, frankly, she became a genius and she was should have so amazing, fabulous mind. I just regret missing losing her so much, but yeah, but but it happened. And so we both thought that she has been affected by this time and time again to one of the people in the free study says, is a very poor student in school actually was headed. IQ test was near genius levels. He doesn't attributed to his his contacts. So this is something I think that points towards, you know, their intentions, their agenda. We're very interested in sort of educating people on alternative energy case after case another. Another very thing is alternative healing. I can't tell you how many people come away from their experiences in doing Ray key, they're doing hands on healing or anything alternative water-dousing people come away from their spirits is and that they knew channeling or psychic reading or give all kinds of readings. They sure do. That's what you know in the community is involving in developing. It's much more people are much more going in that.

"Felony what happens as we are getting near summer and that all of the animals that are down protected now go up higher what if it starts all over again and they start disappearing i think the chances of it happening at this level again or slim given the attention that's being paid to the problem this and louis valley fire everybody there now george ever since the summer of nineteen sixty seven and that bloodless mutilation of the appaloosas mayor lading your alamosa in the san luis valley many residents have seen strange lights rapidly moving aerial vehicles in the skies days and nights this is really gone on off and on sort of a kind of strange cycle around livestock in the san luis valley and their when i when you go or you or the audience go to earth files dot com and you see the big indepth report that i have done with this half hour you will be looking at those rare newspaper articles that i have kept all these years going back to when the pueblo chieftain and other newspapers were reporting in september of about september of sixty seven in their early october newspapers then dead horse riddle sparks ufo buffs amazing headline was horse killed ufo blamed that was in salem oregon statesman those are just two of hundreds this that story went around the world that was the very first time that there was global public awareness and media reporting about the bloodless track lewis animal mutilations well that's why this is of great interest to me now is that in the san luis valley where it has going all the way back to the sixties and some people say even back further there have been unusual phenomena when he laughed when i brought up unusual phenomena that's because everybody who lives there now is that it has this history but why and is there any proof any connection between the current round of three hundred plus animals that have been missing just since the late summer into the fall is there any linked to the mutilation phenomena and the brand commissioner and other law enforcement.

"Because i grew up here it's my hometown i love it my family is here and i've been watching over the course of the time the tremendous growth of the ballet but also of the whole arts and cultural seen here in st louis and so when this opportunity came up by just said yes right away and i am so glad to be back how long has st louis ballet been in existence st louis valet was originally created in 19th 75 and it was run for a number of years until again came in two thousand by ludmila deluca duff ski a russian teacher and it was a smaller company then there weren't we didn't the company didn't have professional dancers mostly volunteer in the occasional guest uh guest dancer who is brought in and that's how gan became introduced to the company and once a ludmila passed away unfortunately the the board invite again to common run the company and the rest history it's incredible again has done with st louis valet since he's been here over trajectory has been up on on stop yes yes because i recall may twenty years ago with all due respect everybody i think that what people thought of dance in st louis they might have thought of dance st louis and the subscription performances it uh offered on a regular basis and if fairly it was it was an understandable way that people thought about it because st louis valley didn't perform very much and now we're performing six times a year and we have a full employment of staff full array of dancers and it's a real professional company and that's all due to two ganz work no doubt i mean we're in the presence of greatness your aren't we are yeah i mean the lutely i mean he he walks in on assuming and he doesn't uh you know put on air here's but this man is at the top of his class as we said last hour he won the arrest last segment he won the prix to those on which is like the world series of dance in switzerland and he was invited to new york by george balanchine he was offered of one of the early roles and cats and of course he did perform an cats on broadway and in the west end.

"A national problem nobody wanted to deal with it look kisan told us when it comes to the opioid crisis and pills flooding into american communities there's plenty of blamed go around drug makers other distributors doctors pharmacies all played a role but in two thousand eight mckesson agreed to pay thirteen point three million dollars in fines for failing to report huge orders of hydrocortisone to shady internet pharmacies after that settlement the company promised to do a better job of monitoring shipments of controlled substances now special agent schiller and his team had caught mckesson again shipping suspicious orders of opioids da investigators discovered that mckesson was supplying pharmacies and doctors that were fronts for criminal drug rings and pills were ending up on the black market and already kept saying it's just a prescription drug it's a pill it's a liquid what's the big deal and i would say they're killing people and their motive this is all for financial gain that's the problem one of the former de administrators said that the mckesson corporation has fuelled the explosive prescription drug abuse problem in this country do you agree with that one hundred percent if they would have stayed in compliance with vera thority and help those that there are supplying the pills to the epidemic would be nowhere near where it is right now nowhere near so you decide to take a swing a hornet's nest i knew that if we could get to the distributor we could make a great impact for the united states united states citizens immediately immediately mckesson delivers more than a third of all medicines in the us from a network of thirty warehouses around the country the d requires drug distributors to identify stop and report orders of unusual size were frequency to the agency something schiller says mckesson did not do unto will the company learned it was under investigation they had hundreds of thousands of suspicious orders they should have reported and they didn't report any there's not a day that goes by and the pharmaceutical world in the mckesson world and the distribution world well there's not something suspicious that happens every day and they had none they were reporting any i mean you have to understand that nothing was suspicious in one case d investigators discovered that mckesson was shipping the same quantities of opioid pills to small town pharmacies in colorado sam louis valley as it would typically ship to large drugstores next two big city medical centers and.
