"Com promo code my G, I'm gonna thank you with specificity in just a few minutes about our international fellowship for Christians and Jews campaign to get Ukrainians out of it out of Ukraine and into Israel. I also want to thank somebody in Hawaii. In fact, Yuri, can you go, why did all this camera shot so you can see the lapel thing that I'm wearing that my buddy, I don't know him, Louis Kona, and I don't know how to say this because there's so many syllables. It's one of those beautiful Hawaiian retreats. I'm sure a slice of Paradise kill a nobody here on the team knows it either. Hence my belief that everybody around me is crazy, but me. And I'm the one I can't read it. Kill a kakua. I think it's killa kakua? Hey, Hawaii. If you're listening and help me with the pronunciation, I just want to say a big thank you. A couple months ago, I invited you to send me lapel pins from your state and on the Salem news channel where you watch this show online and I hope you do, as well as listen to us on your favorite radio station. People have been sending me lapel pins from and I like it when it's like one half is the one side is the American flag and the other side is your state pin. People have sent me pins from Wyoming, Montana, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio. I've worn them all. Well, Louis, Kona from Kona coffee sent me not only some lapel pins that aren't exactly a flag pin, but it's a beautiful Hawaiian flower. You see it online here, sailing news channel dot com. It's beautiful. And I've got it on my lapel. He also sent me some samples from Kona coffee, which is the aroma of aloha. And I like that. And he sent us some American flag watches, Louis Kona is a watch hunter, Louis Kona is a Coney Kona coffee hunter, and he's the most delightful gift package that I'm so grateful for. So thank you, Louis Kona. Well, I'm wearing your flag. I'm wearing your little aloha flower proudly on my navy blue sport coat today on Salem news channel and I can't wait to wear one of those American flag watches and hand it out to the team and sample that great coffee. You want to send us anything and we're going to a lot of interesting mail. I don't know if obviously it's a good thing that I've given out our mailing address for things like that, but also gotten a lot of letters from prisoners, which has been good for me because it's given me a real insightful look at what people who are incarcerated are going through and experiencing and kind of reminds me, I mean, we do it every Christmas time with our prison fellowship campaign when we raise money for the Christmas presents for children of prisoners. And deliver them a letter from their mom or dad in prison, we got to remember people are people and a lot of people who are incarcerated who happen to be talk radio fans are going through a lot too because of the choices undoubtedly that they made. And I'm really appreciative of some of the male we're getting. Some of it, well, almost all of.

"Everything's taken as a political steam right. You know these idiots. Do they always go look. I got a good sense of humor. I've got a great job on. I know he was. He was trying to be funny. But this wasn't funny. Now you're the arbiter of comedy and what is funny out there number one who anointed you. That number two. I could say hands a joke. I wanna kill woody and take his job and then you go. Oh well that's not funny. Maybe it'd be funny but mean because it's not funny. I wanna murder me. But it's kind of like gift-giving read they say it's the it's the thought that matters. It doesn't mean the gift. Dissolve sudden a great gift like. It's still probably a terrible gift but it was the thought that matters. I think it's the maybe it wasn't funny. Was the intent. The intent was to be fine. Yeah money money doesn't make something true. It just makes it funny while we wanted to just check in with me and everything else. Good yeah it's interesting. I had a I woke up this morning with a bit of a philosophical thought of of the sorta times that we're living in which is I did a bunch of shows in minneapolis. And i was sitting in first class and the seattle based white crew. This bitch told me to put my mask up like a hundred and twenty eight times. She handed me the helmets box. And the second. I was done finishing the homage. She dove on me and wanted to know why that wasn't even though she handed me a box. Which made me pull the mass down and eat the hamas for forty five minutes right but the second one is done. Wising your mask stop. it's like well. why'd you only a box of amish mitch philosophical. They are all of the arses of everyone in first class and on the airplane. But i got my first the poll. My mask backup. So they're enforcing the crap out of that. I'll pay what they don't enforce everybody from coach walking up in using my bathroom in first class. Exactly that is not enforced adderall. Wow really just think about the certa implications of it. And the time we're living in and i know you people are listening and like corollas nuts but think about it in terms of the first the people in coach using the first class bathroom. That is that that's a statement of our society right. That is evening the playing field. That's a giving you know knocking knocking the rich guy off his high horse. And that's equity right. That's equity equity in that bathroom but Putting the mask on that's turned into a political attack as well. So i'm getting yelled at pull. My mass backup while. I'm looking at the ass of some guy who bought a coach ticket. Who's heading into the commode to crop up my first class bathroom. And that's exactly the time we're living in now sociologic. Well what if the guy who's asked you're looking at. What if he just identifies as a first class passenger so therefore he should be allowed to use that first class bathroom very good point. I didn't ask him but he probably who bought eleven hundred dollars with two hundred nineteen dollars. Right adam corolla. He's got adam. Corolla is unprepared. Show coming up in kansas city on september. The eleventh that the rbis bank theatre tickets are on sale at adam. Corolla dot com also for those and so cal. Show coming up. A catalina island Saint louis kona saint louis. All those dates tickets available. Adam corolla dot com the ace man. Everybody thank you adam. Thank you hanley. Wood yeah on a scale. Like i feel like we gotta get like some kind of score on the wellness scale like on one to ten. You good like. I'm i worry about the side. Come off to me as a guy. Maybe it's like a constant five could go either way at any moment. no i you know. I don't have a back shoulder or neck problems. I never get headaches like. I'm i'm pretty good. I kind of worry about society unraveling around me. But i i feel okay. I want to thank you. Thank you checking in. And we'll talk to you soon. Pleasure and is the one he shell. We'll be right back. How dumb are you the worst show. We'll be right back. We still have the 'aceman adam. Corolla is on with us. He's got a show coming up. Catalina island you've got. There's always stuff going on here. You're going to pull a joe rogan and just Get out of california. I feel like it's getting day closer to actually happening. I would do it. Yeah we're getting there. We're getting close but who knows. Maybe we'll get larry elder governor. I was gonna ask you like what's your prediction with this recall. Think for sure. There's a symbolic benefit you're basically saying. If we hate the way someone governing a state we can do something about it. So i think it puts everyone on notice that you know you can't be a dictator run state into the ground without some repercussions so even if it's purely symbolic i'm still only for This is we have real quick. "Find a way to score. She's not knocking those jumpers down that time that little has he moved and then a drive inside that zsu per aggressive and the bus. They got a foul called. The other thing That's happening is they're They're allowing one. On one around the basket. Defensively, America today is too good. She can make shots. She right now his six point she's the leading scorer for Washington state reform and knocks down the first free throw. Second one rattles around it comes out two of three from the line early on here, 9 20 to go in the first half bucks trailing here, 17 to 9. Dribble inside. Molina. Little head fake and a foul is Foreman or is a Kylie Blackstone ran into her from behind Molina. Just a little hesitation there, and that's Sherilyn Molina from Louis Kona flying. They'll be dead already. She was not shooting, the officials say, not shooting blacks. It'll pick up the foul. That'll be the first team foul The Bucks here of the quarter. Molina public utility in Charlie's Ledger, Walker Foreman is on her Charlie, still keeping the dribble on the wing up top. It comes with two good for a three and she drilled it. Hey, Colorado's difference Pretty good. They kept shifting around, but nobody shifted out to materia 29. Washington State start to pull away low, But Bob's got to find a little offense. I'm post to a telling, looking at any kick here to the near side. Black Stian couple troubles. What's the dribble inside, gets the bump and lost the basketball. And a whistle on a foul on the reaching as the ball was going away. Colorado is having a tough time with the bench. So Aubrey comes back in. They've got the starter's out there. Charlotte Whitaker with two that time blacks and get bumped and then foul that she was trying to react. To team fouls here the quarter against Colorado one against Washington state, so black students out So we've got Forman Night back in there, calling shed to a tele and sure of the starters her back in for the Buffs, Molina hands off top Harbor and tried to pass it inside. It's tipped away by night for he just got it now. Treated..

"But also, I'm here at the PSA, and he's the incoming C O which stands for chief operating officer canine, we can figure out some. Yeah. But welcome to the show. Ben. Thank you very much. I appreciate it art, and I'm happy to be here. And this guy's awesome. This guy doesn't just talk the talk he walks. The walk mother nature has been very nasty. No matter where we are. Now you and I are in Texas, but your members are all over the globe. Give us a little idea. You're giving a talk today grew. Yes, I'm talking about safety in an emergency environment. I mean, we've had lots of our clientele with hurricanes. Fires floods and everything. Like like, you said you, and I are in a spot that hasn't been hit bad. Thank goodness. That's one of those knock on wood moments. But you know, it's something that you got to plan for you can't wait till it's time we have an emergency. Now, we have no plan who's just helter skelter that just does not work. So for our listeners who do use boarding facilities. Doggie daycares and have pet sitters. What are some things that they should be looking for in a professional business? It says if hoops happens that team is ready. Well, there's several things. I mean, I'm I'm trying to become the master of disaster as you call. Our our the pet preacher of of being prepared. But here's the thing about that is if you have a list of things you need, and I'm talking about transportation how you get you two legs and four legs out the door. Or you're going to go have a partnership with a second facility. Don't wait until it's too late. Call ABC resort down the road and say you got any room it's too late. Then they're having issues you you're having then so you have that plan. And then I want you to do what I am going to talk about here. Afternoon, and that is put a little money aside charge extra nickel as my grandmother would say get that plug nickel out, and you charge extra nickel in each one of your services put that away for a rainy day. And then if you have to put your pets in a hotel for a week because of the disaster, you got a little money insurance. Yes, there's always insurance, but they're not gonna pay for a while. And you got to pay that Bill on the spot that Plum, Nichols, Plum, brilliant? Well, I thought so I mean, I just something just came to me one day, you know, my dad's a preacher my mom's a teacher preachers kids meanest teachers gives the dumbest I've always had it made. So I'll just I'll just having a thought, you know, a preacher's kid thought one day, and that came to me because of all the offerings of the church. That's right praise. The Lord and pass salute. So even though you're you have a preacher teacher as parents. You were other pe- a police officer. I was an officer back in the day. I enjoy them very very much hours starving at that point in time because they don't hey police officers very well. And now married to teach. They don't they pay them worse. So that the BBB business consult what the heck is a teacher OBT business because I know what a teacher is. Really business consultants. What we do. We're kind of a all round consulting where we have two sides of our house. We have a safety side. We write programs we do safety inspections, and we do training. My whole thing is from my clients is I want you to walk the walk just not talk the talk because that's what I do. And like, I tell my kids do as I say not as I do. But in this case do as I say ended so for the pet parents out there give us a few tips because you do have a little warning for a hurricane. You have. Absolutely no warning for often for a tornado or an earthquake. What should we doing in our families to keep us safe in our pets? Okay. Ahead of time. You have to have a plan. You've got to have what I'll call it a muster point everybody is that as with that mustard. No muster is an area that you go to in case of an emergency. You have to practice it number one with your pets and your family members. And number two, you've got to make it the same place. All the time. Give me an example of good muster. Okay. Good. Muster would be crossed the street down to the neighbors boxes with Jones live. If there's a fire in the front of the house. We're going out the back around the corner still down to the Jones if there's a fire in the front we're going down out the side down to the Joneses. And you need to articulate that to your guest in your house. If you have the in laws over if you have the outlaws over who's ever at the house, you need to have that written down somewhere, especially if you have people that are coming to sit with your kids or your animals, they need to know the plan because guess what your animals, they're all smart. They're going to know where to go after you've practiced at a couple of times right in knowing that place that way you're not risking your own life to think that the child or the pet is still in the house. Absolutely. Because I have a quick story. If I may a father and two sons were by themselves the mother had left for a business trip. There was a fire the father and the three year old went out the front door. The five year old went out, the back father panicked. Couldn't find the other child went back in and he did not make it out. So luckily, there wasn't any luck in this situation, which are really wasn't. They had no animal with him. Because the animal the dog was being boarded at the time. All right and pets can panic too. So I'm assuming you're wanting to make sure that pets know how to be in a carrier where muzzle. Absolutely. And you have to practice with them that you just you just all of a sudden surprise here. Let me muzzle, you know, going down to the Jones mailbox. They don't appreciate that too much. You know, my wife Muslims me a time. And I don't appreciate that. At all. So your pet will not either. So. Game market again. But I have to toy poodles, Donnie and daisy, and I'm telling you we was hoping they'd be named Donny and Marie not. Well, no, we thought about that. But you know, not too much. I like and daisy daisy Duke, you know, all that stuff. So we practice with them. And like, I said, I always walk the talk. We've practiced with them when my kids come out with the grandkids. We make it a game in practice. My five year old gets Danni. My three year old gets daisy. Now, we'll go I'm not going to tell you the name of my neighbor, but we go to the neighbor's mailbox, but you know, what you're just hitting another generation. Oh, absolutely. I mean, I do do that. I have grandkids five three. And now six months the six month. He hasn't been over for practice run yet. But he he'll be coming soon. It's to be two to muster. Honestly does. That's when I started to two years old, my granddaughter, I thought well, you know, she's pretty smart, and I wanted to get used to this rodeo thing, we're going to do this is escape plan. And she started the game. They love the dogs. They think they're going for a walk. Because then it's in their brain. It's in there. Bryan needs to be natural. It's needs to be like riding a bike art. And when you get on it, you know, how to ride it. You don't have to say, oh now, I put my foot on the pedal. You know, what to do if there's a far if there's a flood whatever we're going to the Joneses mailbox got that. Now people want to know what the heck IB PSA means. I say jokin, and it sounds like alphabet soup, but it's really an organization that is good for all international, boarding and pet services association. We have a an open door policy as you would say we take all in the pet industry. And we really what we're trying to do is be an educational arm for the pet industry. We want you to learn from agency from airborne diseases zoonosis, we want everything in between for you to know what to do. And I I gave a speech all it's been about three years ago and the name of the speech was rumble in the jungle a z and for two hours. I started the a and the alphabet and went to see an indoor sue noses are taught that each little letter of the alphabet. Something about the industry how we can educate. Yeah. Speak all the time. But that was the longest speech prep. I've never done well twenty six letters man twenty six letters. But it's there's so many nuances to our organization and things that we're doing really fun things one real quick thing. Because I know you're in a hurry Arden, but we're going to start what maybe we're gonna call a picks group meeting. We'll get about eight or ten folks region together, and they may begin competition. But not right with each other. And we'll come in and talk about, hey, what are we what are we doing? Right. What are you doing? Right. Oh, I want to try that or whatever. And we'll have a third party facilitator. So that way it's not anybody has any skin in the game. And they'll just move it along. We're that's something's on horizon little tidbit that I'm sharing we're going to do. Well, you've done a lot of things you've been a police officer, you son of a preacher and a teacher and you're married to a teacher. I have a feeling this is where your heart. Is. It really is when they talk to me about doing the COO thing. I said, okay, I'll do that. And I'm you know, I'm not. A young chick anymore. I'm about to hit that another decade as my kids say, you know, technology is not my friend. But I'm getting there and my son's been morning, my video business consultant business, you know, and I going to take a little step back, and we're going to totally step out new, and if the profit margins don't stay up daddy be right back here. And I'm telling you mom needs a new pair of shoes. You know, what's a parting message? You can give the pet parents. What's a good thing? They can do to keep their pets safe. What they need to keep their pets. Safe is think about their pets think ahead for their pets. Make sure that their pet is a number one priority. Just like they would if it was their grandchild or anything else. I safe pet is a smart happy. We got it. And we're talking about Ben day. He is the incoming CEO IB PSA and here listening and her tail's wagging. I think you've got another canine friend. Thank you. I love them on all the need all the friends on yet period. So all right. We're delighted have Ben day on our show and guys that's it listeners from Saint Louis Kona, Casey. And I are delighted that you tuned into the special episode where we spotlighted some cool folks really making a difference for pets on this planet at this time. Also, I want to give a big pause up to my producer. Mark winner is the wizard of paws pet life radio is. The number one must go to Pat radio network on the.

It's needs to be like riding a bike art. And when you get on it, you know, how to ride it. You don't have to say, oh now, I put my foot on the pedals. You know, what to do if there's a far if there's a flood whatever we're going to the Joneses mailbox got now. People want to know what the heck IB PSA means. I say joking sounds like affadavit soup, but it's really an organization that is good for all international, boarding and pet services association. We have a an open door policies. You would say we take all in the pet industry. And we really what we're trying to do is be educational arm for the pet industry. We want you to learn from agency from airborne diseases to zoonosis we want everything in between for you to know what to do. And I I gave a speech all it's been about three years ago and the name of the speech was rumble in the jungle eight z and for two hours. I started the a and the alphabet and went to see an zoonosis in. I taught each little letter of the alphabet. Something about the industry how we can educate. Yeah. Speak all the time. That was the longest speech prep. I've never done well twenty six letters man twenty six letters. But it's there's so many nuances to our organization and things that we're doing really fun things one real quick thing. Because I know you you're in a hurry Arden, but we're going to start what maybe we're gonna call a picks group meeting. We'll get about eight or ten folks in the region together, and they may begin competition. But not right with each other. And we'll come in and talk about, hey, what are we what are we doing? Right. What are you doing? Right. I want to try that or whatever. And we'll have a third party facilitator. So that way it's not anybody has any skin in the game. And they'll just move it along. We're that's something on horizon little tidbit that I'm sharing that we're going to do. Well, you've done a lot of things you've been a police officer, you son of a preacher and a teacher and you're married to a teacher. I have a feeling this is where your heart. Is. It really is. I when they talk to me about doing the ceelo thing. I said, okay, I'll do that. And I'm, you know, I'm not a young chicken anymore. I'm I'm about to hit that another decade. As my kids say, you know, technology is not my friend. But I'm getting there, and my son's been warning, my beauty business consultant business, you know, and I going to take a little step back. Am I gonna totally step out new, and if the profit margins don't stay up daddy be right back in? I'm telling you mom needs a new pair of shoes. You know? What's a parting message? You can give the pet parents. What's a good thing? They can do to keep their pets safe. What they need to do to keep their pets. Safe is think about their pets think ahead for their pets. Make sure that there is a number one priority. Just like they would if it was their grandchild or anything else. A safe pet is a smart happy. We got it. And we're talking Ben day. "The why not party? Why not this is a great way to bond with your pet in a fun fun atmosphere, and you can get all the things you need by going over to Molly and bandit, head party accessories. Pas up hardy on we're back, and we're here in Saint Louis. This is art and more your host of the oh behave show, and we would be remiss if we did not spotlight a very very special person in the pet field. I'm talking about Ben day. And I know I'm known as the pet health and safety coach, but he's the pet safety, dude. I mean, this guy is all about keeping two three and four Lakers safe. He is with Ben day business consultants in Texas. He I'm in there now. But also, I'm here at the IB PSA, and he's the incoming C O which stands for chief operating officer canine, we can figure out some. Yeah. But welcome to the show. Thank you very much. I appreciate it art, and I'm happy to be here. And this guy's awesome. This guy doesn't just talk the talk he walks. The walk mother nature has been very nasty. No matter where we are. Now you and I are in Texas. But your members are all over the globe gives us a little idea. You're giving talk today grew. Yes, I'm talking about safety in an emergency environment. I mean, we've had lots of our clientele with hurricanes. Fires floods and everything. Like like, you said you, and I are in a spot that hasn't been bad. Thank goodness. This is up. That's one of those knock on wood moments. But you know, it's something that you've got to plan for you can't wait till it's Tom we have an emergency. Now, we have no plan was just helter skelter that just does not work. So for our listeners who do use boarding facilities and doggie daycares and have pet sitters. What are some things that they should be looking for in a pet professional business? It says if hoops happens that team is ready. Well, there's several things. I mean, I'm I'm trying to become the master of disaster as you call. Our are the pet preacher of of being prepared. But here's the thing about that is if you have a list of things you need, and I'm talking about transportation, how you get you two legs and forelegs out the door where you're gonna go have a partnership with a second facility. Don't wait until it's too late and call ABC that resort down the road and say you got any room it's too late. Then they're having issues you you're having then so you have that plan. And then I want you to do what I am going to talk about here this afternoon, and that is poor. Oh money aside. Charging the extra nickel is my grandmother would say get that plug nickel out, and you charge extra nickel in each one of your services put that away for a rainy day. And then if you have to put your pets in a hotel for a week because of the disaster, you got a little money the insurance. Yes, there's always insurance, but they're not gonna pay for a while. And you got to pay that Bill on the spot that Plum, Nichols, Plum brilliant, thought, so I mean, I just something just came to me one day, you know, my dad's a preacher my mom's a teacher preachers kids mean as teachers gives the dumbest I've always had it made. So I just I was just having a thought, you know, a preacher's kid thought one day, and that came to me because all of the offerings of the church. That's right praise. The Lord and pass salute. So even though you're you have a preacher teacher as parents. You were other pe- a police officer. I was an officer back in the day. I enjoyed that very very much hours starving at that point in time because they don't hey police officers very well. And now married to a teacher. They don't they pay them worse. So. That does the Beedi business consultant what the heck is a teacher, OBT business consultant. I know what a teacher is. Ridi business consultants. What we do. We're kind of a all round consulting where we have two sides of our house. We have a safety side. We write programs we do safety inspections, and we do training. My whole thing is from my clients is I want you to walk the walk just not talk the talk because that's what I do. And like, I tell my kids do as I say not as I do. But in this case do as I say do. So for the pet parents out there give us a few tips because you do have a little warning for a hurricane. You have. Absolutely no warning for often for a tornado or an earthquake. What should we doing in our families to keep us safe in our pets? Okay. Ahead of time. You have to have a plan. You've got to have what I'll call a muster point. Everybody goes is that Menes with that? Mustard. No muster is an area that you go to in case when emergency you have to practice it number one with your pets and your family members. And number two, you've got to make it the same place. All the time. Give me an example of good muster. Okay. Good. Muster would be cross the street down to the neighbors boxes with Jones live. If there's a far in the front of the house. We're going out the back around the corner still down to the Jones if there's a fire in the front we're going down out the side down to the Joneses. And you need to articulate that to your guest in your house. If you have the in laws over if you have the outlaws over who's ever at the house, you need to have that written down somewhere, especially if you. You have people that are coming to sit with your kids or your animals, they need to know the plan because guess what your animals, they're all smart. They're going to know where to go after you've practiced it a couple of times right in knowing that place that way you're not risking your own life to think that the child or the pet is still in the house. Absolutely. Because I have a quick story. If I may a father and two sons were by themselves the mother had left for a business trip. There was a fire the father and the three year old went out the front door. The five year old went out, the back father panicked. Couldn't find the other child went back in and he did not make it out. So luckily, there wasn't any luck in this situation, which there really wasn't. Let me mostly up new going down to the Jones mailbox. They don't appreciate that too much. My wife. Muslims me a time. And I don't appreciate that at all. So you're not either so game market again. But I have to toy poodles, Donnie and daisy. And I'm telling you we was hoping they'd be named Danny Murray. Not well, no we thought about that. But you know know, too much I like, Danny and daisy daisy Duke, you know, all that stuff. So we practice with them. And like, I said, I always walk the talk. We practiced with them when my kids come up with the grandkids. It's going to be two to muster. Honestly, that's that's when I started to at two years old my granddaughter. I'd I thought well, you know, she's pretty smart in you know, I wanted to get used to this rodeo thing, we're gonna do this escape plan. And she started the game. They love the dogs. They think they're going for a walk. In their brain. It's in their brain needs to be natural needs to be like riding a bike, art. And when you get on it. You know, how to ride it? You don't have to put my foot on the pedal. You know, what to do if there's a fire if there's a flood whatever we're going to the Joneses mailbox got that.
