"This man right now, rep Louis gohmert. He's got half a million followers. I've retweeted the video that you've posted. It's about the Second Amendment. Really shocking footage coming out of Capitol Hill, not only do they want to take away our weapons congressmen. The Democrats have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to guns, do they? They really don't. And part of the legislation that they mentioned rimfire ammunition and I ask you guys even know what rem fire is. And they looked around and one of the staff handed them a note. Yeah, I think I know what it is. Well, anyway, they don't, and they are wrong about so many things. And you would think if you're going to be trying to take away a constitutional right that you would need to be right about what little you were trying to get right. But it is a dangerous situation and Sebastian, I know you, I know your knowledge of the world. I know how well versed you are in other nations rises and falls. And what we're looking at here that want to take away guns, they haven't been able to repeal the second amendment. So they came up with one way they could do that. And that is to make gun manufacturers liable for any criminal act with a gun. And I know that would put every gun manufacturer out of business.

He said was outrageous, but he doesn't regret that pledge as a candidate, even as he has these series of meetings with The Crown prince Mohammed bin Salman and other Saudi officials on this two day visit to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Now Aaron, the big question going into this visit was would the president raise the murder of Jamal Khashoggi when he had that face to face meeting with The Crown prince known as MBS and the president yesterday in Israel was not explicit about how he would or would not raise the issue. And today you just heard him now say that he brought it up right at the top of his meeting. He said he made it clear what he thought of it at the time and what he thinks of it now. He says he was straightforward and direct. He made his views crystal clear, and he said, that's important for an American president to not be silent on human rights issues. He says that is inconsistent with who the United States is, and who he is as a president. You heard him say there, I will always stand up for our values. There was a very strong tweet from the wife of Jamal or fiance of Jamal Khashoggi, kind of channeling what she thought Khashoggi would have tweeted, criticizing the president for that fist bump with The Crown prince when he first arrived at the palace in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. The president asked to respond to that said, I'm sorry she feels that way, but again insisted he was straightforward with The Crown prince. ABC's Karen Travers its 6 38 a bill to make it easier to find baby formula has passed the U.S. House. The formula act would eliminate tariffs on imported baby formula, so long as it meets FDA standards. This in response to U.S. shortage caused by the shutdown of the country's main manufacturing plant. The bill was sponsored by Oregon congressman Earl blumenauer and co sponsored by Washington's Susan del bene. Parents are driving hours to multiple different stores just to find any formula. So it's on fire right now, but it's going to take a while to get all the oil production up and all of that to help alleviate prices, but we're doing our part in Texas. That's good to know that you're out there working on the oil fields and fracking and doing the work that you do to boost up energy production. And so your report is that it is going up that there is energy production that's you're seeing an increase. Yeah, right now, you know, the same issues affecting everybody else in the country. We're impacted by it directly. Unlike what AOC and the rest would think, those drill bits don't get turned with the wind and solar panels don't work at night. So we work 24/7 and we pay for diesel tens of thousands of dollars a day just to run our equipment, not to mention everything gets delivered on a truck. So you're looking at up to 20% surcharges just for them to cover their fuel, not to mention the shortage in trucking. So it's just a number of things that impact us at the drill bit, not to mention now the production and the transportation. I had an opportunity to meet with representative Roy and representative Louis gohmert at the convention in Houston recently. And I expressed to them that for us to really get where we need to be, they have to reduce regulations on the refining sector because you already at 92% capacity, what happens when you get to 95, 96%, nothing is designed to run at a 100% for safety factors and other reasons. So we have an uphill battle, but in Texas, we're doing everything we can, like I said before, governor Abbott does a good job staying in touch with the industry and, you know, we really need Washington to get out the way, but until then, we do the best we can. Yeah, now what are your thoughts on AOC and Stephen Colbert and his suggestion that she should run for president? Well, I'll tell you this. I prefer Biden over AOC and I prefer any rhino over any Democrats there. Well, I'll tell you what I think. I think it would be a lot of fun to watch AOC run for president because she would get so much attention and she's an expert at saying things that are so beyond the pale. Just look at the last few days she's had so many sound bites that come out because she says the most outlandish thing, so I think if you're in the media business and eyeballs or your business, you're definitely gonna get a lot of that with AOC because she's gonna say a lot of things and it's gonna get a lot of attention. So it would make an eventful election cycle as my opinion. So Paul, what's next for you guys with the energy production in Texas? Well, I mean, we're consistently trying to up our production as we get to the end of the year in the energy industry budgets kind of thin out. But we're looking forward to bigger year and next year, a lot of that is predicated on what's going to happen with our production numbers this year. And it's not that easy that you just open the spigot because for a lot of people with the ESG stuff, that's limited our ability to get funding and investors. So a lot of this is going to be driven off of revenue off of production, but the biggest thing for us right now is making sure we get a red wave. Everybody getting out and voting for your Republican and your conservative candidates. In San Antonio, we have a guy running against Joaquin Castro, mister cows Sinclair, so we're really trying to get him in there, Cassidy Garcia, you've heard about her, might have she's done well. During Thursday's hearing, former acting Deputy Attorney General Richard Donahue was questioned by Republican Congress member Adam kinzinger about Trump's efforts to pressure acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen. The bill includes stricter background checks for buyers under 21, and bans domestic violence offenders from purchasing firearms. New York lawmakers continue to react today to the Supreme Court throwing out a New York law regulating who can carry a concealed firearm. The 6 three decision yesterday follows a mass shooting that killed ten people in Buffalo last month and a subway shooting in New York City. We plan to go to a special session next week, but to those who are cheering this say, we never were taking away your right to possess a gun. Governor Oakley spoke today on CBS mornings. The January 6th committee investigating the U.S. capitol riot is named 6 Republican members of Congress who they say asked for presidential pardons. They include congressman Matt Gaetz, mo Brooks, Louis gohmert, Andy Biggs and Scott Perry, all of them supported then president Trump's false claims of ballot fraud in the 2020 election. It's the classic Maoist self criticism. You're at the show trial, and you must make public statements disowning yourself. That's exactly what we're seeing here in America. Can you talk to us about the support these people are receiving? I think there's one website where you can make donations and also talk to us about the GOP being able on this issue apart from some brave voices like MTG Gates and gohmert. Can you talk about the funding and also the GOP? So for months, there was no funding. There was no site to help these people. And the adaptive of one of the detainees started something called the patriot freedom project. And it has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars. Some big donors like dinesh d'souza and his life don't eat at a $100,000 to really get the fun going. And she's gotten donations of all sizes, substantial donations and people who could give anything, and this is to help defray not only defense attorney's costs as we are getting more attorneys who are willing to step up and help these and represent these people, but also to support the families who are being destroyed, especially the families of the men who have been incarcerated have no chance of getting out anytime soon. Of course, in many cases, they're the breadwinners for their family, a lot of them have young children at home. There have been a few House Republicans and he Matt Gaetz, Louis gohmert, Paul gosar, Andy Biggs, a small handful who have stood up and challenged the DoJ for this abuse of investigation, but otherwise it has been silenced and a lot of top leaders in the country who could help out have not stepped up in either donated money or spoken out in defense of these detainees or the 700 defendants.
