"Should be the content leader absolutely what I did with. TV. Right and then suddenly obvious summers community and content. These are all variations on the same no doubt and so the fact that everybody who's watching this can get you know they can tap Yankee Stadium's plate and get a swing I. Understand Ninety nine percent of the people are gonNA strike out. But everybody wants to be. Oprah. Right. Everybody wants me. What I don't think we're recognizing were heading towards the Sally Jesse. Raphael Donahue. Geraldo. Ricky. Lake era. There were going to be so many people here making eighty thousand dollars a year talking about gardening right and sixty, five, thousand dollars a year talking about skateboarding and two, hundred, forty, seven, thousand dollars a year. They don't realize how much low hanging fruit is coming absolutely I. Mean you look at what a wells doing? Doing. Business Plan is zinc. Now that's right all. Their media asylum and and you know. What they're doing there is br nobody's paying attention asylum number one immense. Poppy and I mean they're. So. I'm just excited that there's a crapload of people here are listening to you know look and look at what's going on guys like you back in day didn't have the platform to do the Nice thing. You're doing here I mean I. Think you're douchebag and some people think I'm of DOUCHEBAG. Bagging. But what you're doing here like helping that person Tweeden out thirty days this is we all have the ability to do things. Now you can make an impact it's ridiculous and when I look at the American household income of forty, seven, thousand dollars a year and I know because Bainer media were dealing with these big now consumer brands be making five hundred a day on the Internet, and that means three to sixty five days a year making a lot more money. Forget about that. Even the fact that if you start a blog tomorrow about gardening. Yeah. Whole foods give you fifty thousand dollars a year to sponsor you. That's like a quarter page ad that they ran a third market but I mean the Roi they don't realize how much money is coming down as the decision makers are changing. See it takes time. Everybody's watching now isn't fucking patient. Not Patient. And those who don't want to do the work I mean that's the living people go people say, Oh, I set up the blog. Where's the money? Sure. People set up the blog. Entry blog for twelve months, and then let's see where you're at and even more importantly when I started wine library TV. It was twenty minutes to do the show. It was the other twelve hours being in the trenches getting my hands dirty in the wine spaces. Such boards emailing people six. Was Twitter. And facebook was still you know the, you know a college play. That's right. I didn't want to be creepy old guy pitching wind kids new. So you're right forums and what forum still still a place to go I can't figure it out I mean that's like talk about you WanNa talk about a really interesting niche. If somebody goes for a unit that like Google is trying to do with email if there's some smart kids much smarter me, I'll just know when they do it. If they can reinvent the form, I've seen a couple of people AJ. Somebody there are some people doing something, but it can really change that game can be interesting I. Concur. wholeheartedly. So It's huge opportunity for people. So really want to talk about is how I went about it. My thoughts on it I wanNA bullshit anybody people paying intermedia forty, fifty sixty k. a month retainer for consulting to pretty honest the basic thesis, their the reason I feel fine about pitching the book people dude enough with the crush it listen you have to sell American have to sell and more importantly feel good about this for twenty bones or thirteen or fifteen. There's some serious shit here. People are like how I? Mean people go to the movies and somebody went to see Terminator. Transformers to I I didn't go see a piece of garbage. Go see that and have your brain to mushroom. By book you read a book like this. You may change your whole life. My whole thing is that is so much is changing right and Louis Crazy when I when I started doing the business book thing okay I won't crush it to be big I started like studying I don't I don't read books I've never read a book I've never read a single business book it's weird so I don't know it's weird. Very internal. I've read blogs but I lived through like limited direct. You know it's funny. This is my whole thing on it when I started really real I was like Oh Malcolm Glad Wilson. A journalist like when I started realizing that the biggest business books written by people that right I thought that was super fascinating. I much view. I'd much rather read a book from Jason Freed or Tony Shay or you or somebody who's built a business I think Tony's right in the book he is. He is I mean that's an important book to read I mean dirt. The they are the and free book is going to be big I think you know freed from thirty times I do hey, you know he's a little bit of a wine or sometimes in the hater I'm under his guy I let. You. Should he should wear perception of him. Did you like he called you out on something? Twitter's with. Like Eight, hundred, twenty. What he's obviously a smart right it's definitely smart. He's smart. He got a lot of attention for that. No said that's the thing about it was I wrote my thing like, Hey, fire people aren't workaholics and then he's like Oh we at thirty seven signals we fire people who are workaholics and I'm like he's a workaholic, the reason. Why I like him Chris Crushes it because at two thirty in the morning instant Messenger. Yeah. Him and I are talking about launching the dollar store on the Internet. Right? You know he's raw right? Like the first that attracted me to you I. Want Raw. It's not even authentic fucking war. The person wants like like. You become a little Hollywood with like playing poker with superstars. You're a little cooler than me. Now I want the guy that I can tax and be like dude idea come over three thirty in the morning and let's rift like I just WanNa. Work. I tell you come to the poker table. Talk about cooler than I am. I'm management I. Did you know what are you talking about Scharping host the show? Host want to be one of the guys who you're listening. You're on how many shows this week at very good morning America Conan O'Brien not only shows I've never been out of this stuff. We've been Charlie rose. Show. Your The New York Charlie rose two point Oh everybody knows it. No I. I was off. Tyler that. Can we cut that? Okay and so. Can we talk to more people, JAS unconsciously people know our spiel. Yeah. You know what? It's about like honestly, the next half hour looking tweet you can read off. Let's question some. Honestly this is what I hate about. You know it's you retired from keynoting I still love speaking so much. It's a really like enjoyable for me but I'm now in the Cuna only. Yeah. My south by South West Keno is Kunal only that's I'm getting up there saying. Most. Of them if you don't I understand why I'm not that big but most of you do ask questions. So anybody who wants a question put pound twist on it and we will look I, mean there's a lot of people just. Wile tons of people are tweeting about show. And they're quoting. Guest finally. That's true. We Graham singing the twenty-three others. Yeah. I would say probably in the top two or three guests so far you know what I started the show I didn't want to go for the big Yes at first I want to just get it going and get some of this sort of mid tier entrepreneurs who are hustling because those guys were interesting because they're more hungry the guys who wrote at the top. They don't want to talk. It's so funny how we have so many similarities the reason I haven't done television everybody wants me to do a wine show right and I've been building my business brand because I love business but I loved wine right.

"That's another brand new week. Aren't we decided about bat. Yeah. Baby. Welcome to it. Hey, it's Monday. And you know. As happens really just about every week. On Friday. It was one breaking news story after another I'm telling you. They started breaking actually while we were still on the air, but we were in the middle of something It was an important discussion actually on Friday with Sasha Bromski writing for the nation about what could potentially happen. Around this election because frankly donald trump supporters are crazy and I don't mean that in a good way I don't mean that in a fun way I mean they are bat shit off the wall, sociopathic Louis, crazy these people they're armed and die think dangerous and They have some weird cult like devotion to their dear leader who was frightening in his own, right? So. I think that's an important topic. How do we get look we? We've got three different phases coming up we're going to need to deal with one is the one we're in now the period between now and November third. When? Donald Trump will keep. Up The fear while he tells you, I'm trying to keep calm keeping everybody calm because to donald trump I guess there's no like a position of being. Concerned. And honest with the American people about why you're concerned no with him. It's either well, you lie to the American people and downplay things like you know like he so ups hold on. GotTa turn this one down. NOPE GonNa keep turning things down. Why do I have a sound coming through I hate it when this happens oh I bet maybe leaking through here. Could that be it? Okay perfect. All right. So I. You know this is his stance right I wanted to always play it down I still like playing it down. Because I don't want to create a panic doesn't want create a panic. So that was the one thing he said in those recordings to Bob Woodward that he could Guam onto to give himself kind of an out Oh didn't want to create a panic I was the the picture of calm. And so two now donald trump to hear him there's only two ways you're either playing it down. So it's not to you know commit. Panic not to sow panic or you have to be.

"On. GMC PODCAST Network Mural Colin Manley. Talking about a lot of news coming around covid nineteen in the old break that just happened with the Marlins and a lot of information to take in, and there's going to be more coming our way. But just giving you the best little snapshot we can for Right now, as we move into our next segment, we're going to actually talk about some baseball. It actually happened instead of some corona virus issues and I want to take the. The time and talk about some things that could be real and fake around the league. I wanted discuss what we have seen throughout the first week or so of the season, most teams have about three or four games in as this recording and play the fifth one on Tuesday night, and when we get more games than we will obviously have a much better feel on what is real and what is fake in the MLB this season. I really want to not just look at players and stats because that's hard and even though we are GonNa touch upon it, I also WanNa talk about team performances so far which of these are real and. We should be paying attention to them, and which performances should we maybe just tip our hat to them right now to knowledge? Hey, you've had some great play out of the gates. But, it may not last that long. So we're going to take the opportunity at least right away to look at each division starting off in the American. League, we gotTA, start. The AL is with the Tampa. Bay Rays, because they are sitting on top of the division, and it is a team that is very good and we should be taking very seriously. I know that when I was doing a lot of prep to get ready for the season, I was seeing some players especially buster only he was. was really pounding for the Tampa Bay rays this season, and they should be getting their love. The problem with the raises, they may not be given all that love just considering who they are playing along with a loaded New York Yankees team. There's a lot of people that think the Yankees are the best team in the majors this year, and they are going to pee the best team at the end of the season or at least going into the playoffs where a lot of crazy things can happen. But Tampa Bay is going to be competitive, and we're seeing that already they already have a plus eleven run differential through their four game scored twenty given up seventeen. That's awesome that they're already up to double digits and it's something to be worth watching because they have some pitching and just some underrated named. You may be surprised. You may not know who they are I mean. They just had a player G. Choi who hit his first home run from the right hand side of the plate. It was his first at bat for the right side of the plate. It's definitely something to be monitoring. We also have an orioles team that's sitting at two and one their lingering around great opening weekend as they took to from the red sox still though were negative three. When it comes to run differential for themselves. You don't expect an linger around, but hey, there there it is. That's your tip of the hat to the Orioles. They had agreed start to their season. We'll see where things go for them moving forward. We still will be expecting Yankees to be on top of this division along with Tampa Bay, putting up a pretty good fight and staying competitive for the rest of the year. In the Al Central, we have the Indians and twins both sitting at the top two in one as of right now, both these squads will be interesting to watch is the season pushes on. The twins are going to score runs and we know that they've put up twenty seven so far in their games, there are plus ten run-scoring differential. Just unbelievable offense is what you're going to see out of them, and we're actually going to talk about one of their players in a little bit and the Indians. They have some pitching. They add some players they're going to be fun to watch as well. As the season pushes on, we're GonNa Really, WANNA. See what they're gonNA do with Francisco door as the rumors started to circulate. Is a trade gonNA happen, but with sixteen teams making the playoffs, maybe the Indians hold off for a year and they see if we go back to normal postseason year, we will, we'll have to watch and see what happens with them. I expect to see those teams towards the top. But. I still have a wandering eye checking on the white sox early on, I don't think the royals even though they're two and into and Detroit, even though they're two and two. are going to be high competitors as the season goes on. that. White Sox team can be pretty good. Might have just got a tough shake starting their season off against a really good twins team. In? The Al West, this is no shock at all. The Astros, and the as are on top and they will be the teams to beat in this division I. Don't know if I really fear any of these other teams too much. It's GonNa. Be a fun competition between the Astros and the as while the other teams just try to figure things out as the season goes on the raiders had a chance to be interesting with their starting pitching. But as we had mentioned before with Corey Kluber going down already. There, foreseeable future, it's it's looking a little gloomy. This definitely puts a damper on things and we'll have to see. Is, anybody else going to really step up and compete in the NFL West you wanted to get excited about the angels early on with Otani Ren Don, and trout's, but well reknowned hasn't really seen the field yet. Otani, rocked in his first start. Trout's been looking fine, but it's it's going to take a lot more for that team to turn around Seattle, you don't know what you're really expecting this year and. Like you said about Texas got some injury issues to figure out. So that's we're looking at the American league nothing too crazy outside of the orioles kind of. A lot of the rest is kind of following chalk what we expected at the start of the year for the National League? Well, well, well, those marlins that we've been talking about so much right now, they are on top of that. NLE's being two in one. and. It's GonNa. Be Fun. While it lasted. They'RE GONNA get passed up with teams just playing games even though they're win percentage might sit there and be okay but nobody really expected them to win the. This is one that anyone was predicting, and this one has a chance to be crazy competitive and fun as well. The L. is. It's just going to be tough. I would lean the braves. I would lean on the braves now. But if you came to me later in the season and told me, hey, the nationals pitching really hot. I, believe it. View said, Hey, the phillies they're hitting. Louis Crazy. These guys just took off. It's not going to surprise me either or even the mets start making some noise because they got some guys who can hit their pita. Lonzo really hasn't gotten going yet. They still have some pitching in strom if he comes back and you know what Jacob degrom can do. It's going to be a competitive least. That's going to be the division I. Think I'm GonNa. WanNa spend the most time watching 'cause. I don't know if I feel confident one team over the other. I guess that I lean braves right now. But. It could go alive in different ways. That's for sure when it comes to looking at the east, the NFL Central. Well. The cubs have looked strong. I've seen a lot of cubs games so far this year for them as they started the year three and one. But that bullpen..

Well, Albert pool whole says in the six hundred home run club, the three thousand hit club. And today he joins the two thousand RBI khloe to other members of the two thousand RBI club. Henry Aaron and Alex Rodriguez. No, no. That's that's true. And now Albert pool halls who did it in a thirteen nothing. When over the Tigers angels radio with the call. We were talking about pools before, you know, this is eighth season in Anaheim matching the eight years in Saint Louis crazy that it's gone and just how little we've we've heard from him because of when they play in the fact that he's he gets hurt a lot and he just had lived up to the contract they gave him. But it's also why I think people want to know why Mike trout's not the bigger superstar. That is no one sees him. Play injured ten thirty at night too often, ten o'clock at least out of west coast. See them play the whole country doesn't imply as opposed to if you're playing in New York you say that about like the Mets in reverse. No. The also the most passionate baseball fans in the country are on the east coast. It's just as simple as that. But that's true. But even LeBron was lost it. I mean, did you see a lot of LeBron this year? No. Of course. Not right. I mean, it's just different. "Actually in. This is my warning to America is the two parties system actually starving bickering with each other a lot and the conservative party, which is the party that my family belong to self-destructed and did no favours onto the other party. That was centre-left. You know, the the party system was pretty much in the middle. You know, a little bit on the right? A little bit on the left. Not far, right. Not far left. But they they had one thing in common. They wanted. They wanted the best for Venezuela. However that being said there was a lot of corruption and people became very disillusioned with that, so incomes, Hugo Chavez. You know, hoping stop you there for a second because he's an interesting, dude. I never really heard his name in toll. Suddenly he was the boss. And then of course, he historically goes to the UN and says that he smelled sulfur because George W Bush is the is the devil. Now, we realize this guy's a piece of garbage. But how does a guy like that? 'cause I'm I'm just going to be obvious here. Not great looking. Maybe he speaks. Well, I don't speak Spanish, maybe it's the fluidity of how he speaks. But how did he grabbed the attention of the entirety of that country? And how did they allow him to say? Yes, central government. You take over everything. How does that? How does that go down? Right without works. Pretty much the same as here. You know, the Obama phone. You know this off. Free health care for all that was how he got people to support him. Is. He started touting socialism and saying it was a good thing because everybody was gonna have free healthcare. Everybody was going to have everything they needed. And so, of course, they voted for him the first time after that it was fraudulent elections until today. And the only reason that we'd go chargers. No longer there is he he died of cancer, but his on vice President Nicolas. My little took over the country's, you know, government in two thousand thirteen with massive rioting because they were all fraudulent elections every time he ran and and he actually took then as well as to a much much much worse place than than. Was before. And it was it was really getting horrific before, but he basically demolish that country. So he was you go on on steroids, basically is bad. As Chavez was me. This guy was just completely over the top. What did he do differently because under Chavez, it wasn't great? How did it get so bad? Well, he basically decided that he was going to be a tyrant and anybody that said anything against town would either be jailed or killed and there was a lot of death on the streets in two twenty thirteen twenty fourteen. Course, nobody reported about it. They all seem to think that this is all kind of knew no I've been I've been on this for the last six years because it has been nonstop rioting people. People don't have food people don't have health care babies die when they're born. You know, there have been reports of people. Eating their own pets. I mean, it's just it goes on and on and on my aunt lives in she lives on country. So she got on she lives on country. So she doesn't see a lot of this. The rioting that goes on in the in the city, but she too has done without for many years, and she's become pretty complacent about it. So I am very excited that the Trump administration is is for many years, and she's become pretty complacent about it. So I am very excited that the Trump administration is finally doing something about it. Venezuela is a very very dangerous place right now. And you know, there are Americans that say, hey, why do we care? Why are we getting involved? I'll tell you why Russia Iran, China, those guys they all have a hold on Venezuela, especially Ron, and if there becomes a vacuum their power if Iran will secure it and do we want missiles there? I don't think so. I don't think we want Iran anywhere near our hemisphere or actually the the Americas at all I it's I feel like the. Way mother was gonna leave is a military coup. And that means that his own military has to turn on him. I'm not sure that that will happen. But that I really feel that that's the only way that man's going to leave its debit assumes that she's originally from Venezuela. A proud American now, a great friend of mine. What's interesting is Bernie Sanders had always said good things about Chavez. What's interesting is Bernie Sanders said something so stupid. Like, it's good that there were food lines. That means people are getting food. That's how dumb the guy is. But you've got to cows you Cortes and Bernie Sanders. And now you've got Elizabeth Warren is starting to look like that too. And you've got people like a retreated to leave and Alon, Omar who are all saying. Oh, no, no democratic socialism is the right way to go democratic socialism is a new term to me. I don't even know what it means putting the word democratic in front of it. And now 'cause you Cortez and the Lakers say, well, we don't want Venezuela socialism, we want Sweden socialism. What do you see happening from that faction? There were forty people in this last election, Debbie, as you know, who ran a socialists, and they all did very well it all win. But the Bill got votes. What do you think about all that? I think it's extremely scary. I I don't think that people actually understand what socialism is socialism is the promise of equality, but it's actually not the not equality is actually equal misery, and the only people that benefit from it are the elite and Ugo Chavez died a multi billionaire mother-in-law has a lot of money in his coffers. You know, Bernie Sanders. I'm not sure what his. You know, what his socio economic status? I asked you the Clinton Obama, you know, these people are not poor, and they would never be equally miserable. So yes, socialism is is not a cool thing. And I just I will at our system of education was not indoctrinating our kids into believing that socialism is somehow an amazing thing. Loyd ideology. It's an amazing point that you make because you're right academia, along with Hollywood along with the big media along with sports, and others are pushing this idea that through socialism, that means the central government has everything they can go without evenly and equally and everybody will be equally happy. Well, that's untrue. Mean I mentioned this many times before my show when when Castro took over his government was driving around in brand new Mercedes Benz as people were trying to fix cars that were rust buckets that were forty years old because they couldn't get cars. I mean, the top rung always gets all the riches, and they always enjoy the lobster in the stake as people get a bread line or aligned to get some toilet paper. And they're saying, yeah. But we're taking care of you. Nobody wants that capitalism. Works for a reason socialism has failed for a reason. How do you? How do you see this thing shaken out because this is not going to be over for a while since you've got two people who both think that they're the president that people want one the military wants the other. Would you see you just be pressure for me? Tell me what's going to come. In the future for Venezuela. Well, I think that these sanctions today are good start. They're very very tough a lot of money on the oil, which of course, the regime was taking it for themselves. It wasn't going to the people on. So I think it's going to hurt them financially. However, as I've said, my Louis crazy, he's a just crazy nut, right? And he is not gonna crack. I don't think until somebody within his own military says okay, we've had a. And they overthrow him. Fortunately, I I wish I was more optimistic. He's gonna have to be forcibly removed. I believe so it's stunning. What's going on down there? I hope for to God for the people down there. "The blaze radio network really glad to have you along for the for the right of the weekend with joepags. We see what's happening in Venezuela. Maybe we don't see as. As often as we need to maybe it's not as prevalent as it should be. Because this is another sign that socialism has never worked at it. Never can work. It's failing horribly miserably in Venezuela. It's much worse than you, probably even know. So I go to my friend who's who's an expert on Venezuela because she's from there. She also great movie producer, the wife of the national Sousa deputy sues because Debbie again from Venezuela has her finger on the pulse of what's happening to other, Debbie. How are you? Great to see you doing great Joe, how're you? Why also like to put in one of your titles incredible singer too? Because you just really can you know, what I'm saying? Thank you. Okay. We will we have you on today because we love having you on in be because they're big doings happened in Venezuela. That is your your home country. You are a very proud American now. But Venezuela is where you're from. And what's interesting is that we talked about this just a bit before we started. When you grow up in this country. You have an impression of some countries that are it's either good or bad my impression of the Soviet Union. Was it was bad. If somebody says North Korea, I think bad, I somebody says China, I think no rights and they run people over with tanks. I I always thought Venezuelan I thought that sounds like a cool country that I never really had a problem with it. And then now in the past ten or fifteen years, let me guess it's gone on longer than that, everything kind of changed. So take me back to when you were young girl, you're in Venezuela. What was the country like then and what the hell happened? Well, I don't think I've ever told you this. But my father was was very much a warrior back in the day. Venezuela was a dictatorship in the fifties. In one thousand nine hundred eighty eight they overthrew the government, and it became a complete Republic. I mean, it was you know, they follow the constitution. They had a two party system. My father was very proud of all of that. So for many years, you know, me growing up there. It was very process. Stress. We were we were pretty well off as far as socioeconomic. So I had everything I could ask for it was, you know, people people were allowed to voice their opinion without without any fear of being persecuted or prosecuted. So it was it was a really great country. But as you say about twenty years ago. What what started happening, actually? And this is my warning to America is the two party system actually started bickering with each other a lot and the conservative party, which is the party that family belong to sell destructed and did no favours onto the other party. That was centre-left. The party system was pretty much in the middle. You know, a little bit on the right? A little bit on the left. Not far. Right. Not far left. But they they had one thing in common they want. They want the best for Venezuela. However that being said there was a lot of corruption and people became during disillusion with that. So incomes Shabbat. If you can stop you there for a second because he's an interesting, dude. I never really heard his name till suddenly he was the boss. And then of course, he historically goes to the UN says that he smelled sulfur because George W Bush is the is the devil. Now, we realize this guy's a real piece of garbage. But how does it guy like that? 'cause I'm I'm just going to be obvious here. Not great looking. Maybe he speaks. Well, I don't speak Spanish, maybe it's the fluidity of how he speaks. But how did he grabbed the attention of the entirety of that country? And how did they allow him to say? Yes. Central government should take over everything. How does it? How does that go down? Right. Well that works pretty much the same as here. You know, the Obama phone. This off. Free. You know, free health care for all that was how he got people to support him. Is. He started touting socialism and saying it was a good thing because everybody was gonna have free healthcare. Everybody was going to have everything they needed. And so, of course, they voted for him the first time after that it was fraudulent elections until today. And the only reason that China's is no longer there is he he died of cancer, but his vice President Nicolas. My little took over the country's you know. No government in twenty thirteen with massive rioting because they were all fraudulent elections every time he ran and and he actually took this well to a much much much worse place than than. Was the it was it was really getting worth it before. But he basically demolish the country. So he was Ugo Chavez on on steroids. Basically is bad. As Chavez was me. This guy was just completely over the top. What did he do differently because under charges? It wasn't great. How did it get so bad? Well, he basically decided that he was going to be a tyrant and anybody that said anything against town would either be jailed or killed, and there was a lot of death on the streets in two thousand thirteen twenty fourteen. Course, nobody reported about it. They all seem to think that this is all kind of you know, I've been I've been on this for the last six years because it has been nonstop rioting people. People don't have food people don't have health care babies die when they're born. You know, there have been reports of people. Eating their own pets. I mean, it's just it goes on and on and on my aunt lives in she lives on country. So she doesn't see a lot of this the writing that goes on in the city, but she too has done without for many years, and she's become pretty complacent about it. So I am very excited dot the Trump administration is is finally doing something about it. Venezuela is a very very dangerous place right now. And you know, there are Americans that say, hey, why do we care? Why are we getting involved? I'll tell you why Russia Iran, China, those guys they all have a hold on the news. Well, especially Ron, and if there becomes a vacuum, their a power Iran will secure it. And do we want missiles there? I don't think. So. I don't think we want Iran anywhere near, you know, our our hemisphere or actually the the Americas. At all, I it's very interesting is deputy Sousa along with their latest movies called death of a nation. Make sure you go and see that I downloaded you can get it on digital. You can get the DVD. It's an amazing movie. And I appreciate all the work. You do. I I have to sort of ask when the Trump administration said we support the new guy we want this bad guy out. A Cossio Cortes. And the Bernie Sanders of the world started saying, how dare he support, you know, the incoming thing when they're claiming that the the will of the people was Madero was ever elected. No, it was fried and the organization of American states actually found that it was fraud. Which is why they elected Widodo as the acting president because constitutionally model should not have been president who is the president because they both claim to be the president right now. Who is the guy is it true the military's backing Madero? And if that's true, isn't that trouble for the people? It is it is the only I feel you know, all these sanctions are great today. They just did seven billion dollars worth of sanctions against it. Well company there, but I feel like the. Gonna lead is a military coup. Not means that his own military has to turn on him. I'm not sure that that will happen. But that I really feel that that's the only way that man's going to lead is Debbie desouza. She's originally from Venezuela. A proud American now, a great friend of mine. What's interesting is Bernie Sanders had always said good things about Chavez, which interesting is Bernie Sanders said something so stupid. Like, it's good that there are food lines. That means people are getting food. That's how dumb the guy is. But you've got cows you Cortes and Bernie Sanders. And now you've got Elizabeth Warren is starting to look like that too. And you've got people like a it to leave and Ilan, Omar who are all saying. Oh, no, no democratic socialism is the right way to go. Well, this democratic socialism is a new term to me. I don't even know what it means putting the word democratic in front of it. And now a Cossio Cortes and the Lakers say, well, we don't want Venezuela's socialism, we want Sweden socialism. What do you see happening from that faction? There were forty people in this last election, w as you know, who ran his socialists, and they all did very well within all win. But the all male got votes. What do you think about all that? Extremely scary. I I don't think that people actually understand what socialism is socialism is the promise of equality. It's actually not the ninety quality actually equal lisera, and the only people that benefit from it are the elite and Ugo Chavez died multi billionaire model has a lot of money in his coffers. Bernie sanders. I'm not sure what his. You know, what his socio economic status? The Clinton Obama, you know, these people are not poor, and they would never be equally miserable. So yes, socialism is is not a cool thing. And I just I. At our system of education was not indoctrinating our kids into believing that socialism is somehow an amazing thing. Ideology. It's an amazing point that you make because you're right academia, along with Hollywood along with the big media along with sports, and others are pushing this idea that through socialism, that means the central government has everything they can go without evenly and equally and everybody will be equally happy. Well, that's untrue. Me. I mentioned this many times before my show when when Castro took over his government was driving around in brand new Mercedes Benz as people were trying to fix cars that were rust buckets that were forty years old because they couldn't get cars. "Worth of sanctions against the oil company there. But I feel like the. Way models gonna leave is a military coup. And that means that his own military has to turn on him. I'm not sure that that will happen. But that I really feel that that's the only way that man's going to lead steady. Desouza? She's originally from Venezuela. A proud American now, great friend of mine. What's interesting is Bernie Sanders had always said good things about Chavez. What's interesting is Bernie Sanders said something so stupid. Like, it's good that there are food lines. That means people are getting food. That's how dumb the guy is. But you've got cows Cortes and Bernie Sanders. And now you've got Elizabeth Warren is starting to look like that too. And you've got people like a it to leave and Alon, Omar who are all saying. Oh, no, no democratic socialism is the right way to go. Well, this democratic socialism is a new term to me. I don't even know what it means putting the democratic in front of it. And now 'cause you Cortez in the Lakers say, well, we don't want to Venezuela socialism, we want Sweden socialism. What do you see happening from that faction, there were forty people and this last election, w as you know, who ran his socialists, and they all did very well within all wait with the old. They'll votes, what do you think about all that? It's extremely scary. I I don't think that people actually understand with socialism is socialism is the promise of equality, but it's actually not the equality actually, equal misery, and the only people that benefit from it are the elite and Ugo. China's died a multi billionaire. Oh has a lot of money in his coffers. Bernie sanders. I'm not sure what his. You know, what is socio economic stems? The Clinton Obama, you know, these people are not poor, and they would never be equally miserable. So yes, socialism is is not a cool thing. And I just I. At our system of education was not indoctrinating our kids into believing that socialism is somehow an amazing thing to make ideology. It's an amazing point that you make because you're right academia, along with Hollywood along with the big media along with sports, and and others are are pushing this idea that through socialism, that means the central government has everything they can go without evenly equally and everybody will be equally happy. Well, that's untrue. Me. I've mentioned this many times before my show when when Castro took over his government was driving running brand new Mercedes Benz as people were trying to fix cars that were rust buckets that were forty years old because they couldn't get cars, the top rung, always gets all the riches, and they always enjoy the lobster the as people get a red line or a line to get some toilet paper. And they're saying we're taking care of you. Nobody wants that capitalism. Works for a reason. Socialism has failed for a reason. How do you? How do you see this thing shaken out because this is? Is not going to be over for a while since you've got two people who both think that they're the president the people want one the military wants the other. Would you see just be pressure for me? Tell me what's going to come in the future for Venezuela. Well, I think that these sanctions today are good start. They're very very tough a lot of money on the oil, which of course, the Mobuto regime was taking it for themselves wasn't going to the people. So I think it's going to hurt them financially. However, as I've said, my Louis crazy, he's a just crazy not right? And he is not going to crack. I don't think until somebody within his own military says okay, we've had. They overthrow. Fortunately, I wish I was more optimistic. He's gonna have to be forcibly removed. I believe so it's it's stunning. What's going on down there? I hope to God for the people down there. They find peace. They get somebody in there who's going to actually let them succeed again and really work hard to make that country amazing as you've told me that it used to be one one last thing is their latest movie in Boca with her husband is a death of a nation. Make sure you go and check it out. It's unbelievable juxtaposing. What's happening today to what was happening in our history. We actually know the history we keep on repeating it. The last question is do you really truly somebody from that country seeing what it's gone through. And what it's going through the fear that could be happening here. Absolutely. And show. You know, what scares me the most is that Republicans are going to self destruct. I see that happening and that to me. The most disturbing thing because if we don't support our party and our president. It's not looking good. Let's do this again, very soon. Your insight into Venezuela and everything including which happening in our country is always just great. Thank you. Go back after this on the Joe pags show. Stay right here..

"From now a month and a half from now when teams are reporting and Dallas kaikal is gonna throw bullpen sessions in Colorado. I certainly hope not I mean, former Cy Young winner that Louis crazy. But you know, last year we had six or seven really good players who signed very late, and basically, I don't think any of them. Maybe one of them had a really good year. None of them ended up having a very good year. But now we have two per stars still out there in the new year. We didn't have we have that last year. We had good players moussaka s- and land and Lomo of a forty home runs and Neil Walker. And there was a half dozen or more. But I think what's shocking about this year is you've got two superstars not maybe generational players but superstars and former Cy Young winner who still in his prime and that list of reliever's a good list of second. Basemen LeMay Uber player as you said Mara win. So it's a little shocking. I do think that he's really good players will get good. Good deals, but you know, were six weeks away from spring training. It's coming around the corner. So not too far. So when do you foresee Machado in office on a good you see that within the next week? I was asked us on MLB network, and I predicted last week Machado January tents and and predicted Harper February tenth, but that was just off the top of my head next. I wouldn't go to Machado. It's not like my football picks. I don't want to go to the Bank and they've been Bank. Casino wanna congratulate your your alma mater on a big win enough. Thank you. Fantastic. How about that? I know incredible. We never I think they didn't want a bowl game between nineteen forty eight in about two thousand and eleven or twelve and now they won three in a row NCAA tournament basketball. How about that? They did do that coach. Yeah. Right. And he said he's not going, right? Oh, he's a very honest fellow. Right. Well, yeah. I mean that just means he's smart. It doesn't mean honest. But he is honest and I met him and he's terrific. And I I believe him. He loves being the northwestern coach. He's been he's been there. Fifteen years now. Yeah. Play too. He was on that Rose Bowl team that lost to Keyshawn and USC. Right. And he could have gone. I'm sure he could have gone to Notre Dame or other bigger jobs, and he never went. Do you think Joe we shouldn't let jump take all the playoff games? Just. Do john. We're going to give you your choice of one of the use this weekend's four playoff games. One. The call. The game. I was gonna bet I was gonna pick Clemson. Okay. Well, we could get to that too. All right. So you like Clinton against alad, but what's not line six and a half six at Clinton's get six and a half. On. All right. You take Clemson against Alabama Monday. All right. Right. Okay. It is six and a half confirming right now a got my fantasy words loaded. NFL playoff pairings. Are you asking Evan or me? I know I'm asking the, you know, I know some of the teams that are involved. So here's the games. Go quick because we don't want to. I'm I'll give you the games. Then you pick one Saturday. You got the Indianapolis Colts in Houston Texans. Okay. That's a good point and a half. Now. I don't use insane pass. Okay. Saturday night. You got the Seahawks in Dallas Cowboys again, a point and a half. Cowboys a favorite do you wanna touch that game? Yes, I like that game. So I'm going with the I'm gonna go with the Seahawks. I think on the road the beat the Cowboys on that line right now is at two and a half. It's up to to getting the two and a half Iraq grow in the Clemson Alabama game that line is down to five and a half to two and a half we change my pick. But you know, I'll stick with Clemson six and a half sounded pretty juicy. I like that they can five and a half. I believe me if they lose Alabama to line isn't going to matter. Right. They're not they're gonna they're gonna not. So I didn't do well with college as you as you heard earlier in the show, I do know my college you hit me with Anthony Davis out of USC who the Anthony Davis basketball player is the big guy from Kentucky, right? Are you doing MBA over it is he would New Orleans? Wow. Even anybody up study up. Why do I think that like one of these days I to see you like the NFL network or on? I don't think that's going to happen at this point. They've been listening to the shows and my picks. I'm not seeing much next to give me doing NHL DJ Radic. That's right. I see him around the building in NHL connects right? I'm right here. I'm here anytime. They can ask me have yet to ask me. So now, you're jersey now. Yes. Okay. Yeah. Do you want me to stop buying? What are your plans because I thought maybe it'd be in Florida? That's all oh, no. MLB network money. I write tastic highlight was when you came on the show today. We have Ryan Dempster which. I haven't. No, not be Evan. Evan. Well, either one of you. We don't do it. No part of what's that guy's name. He Brian Kenny. Oh, I wanna you. Brian Kenny tell me how AJ Pollock is is better than Joe DiMaggio. Tell me that. Dimaggio. I really don't want. I don't know. Says it's. For his Dan. Disease. Disease that died. John was before war. Right. They had four, but they've they tweaked it, and it became more to tweak the war that I remember. I remember them. This is real name. But he had a website. I think it was called fire Joe Morgan dot com or something like to manage it. He. No, the broadcast there the hall of fame player guess broadcast, very mean spirited. Back when I was big it must be ten years ago. He wrote I I gave some MVP pick. And he wrote about three thousand words about why I'm an idiot. 'cause Hanley Ramirez is obviously the MVP. He had the best four put his. What can you tell me value over replacement player? I'll just went to war. Which is a win. Hanley Ramirez finished ninth year and the MVP voting three thousand word harangue about what a moron. John. Bitter bitter not much too seriously. I I you know, I've been holding the scientists for ten years. Letting it out feel good is this guy. Good. Guys got a name like Ken tremendous you'd better than that. Is this tremendous around? I've seen that. Yeah. Yeah. You know, what he's a very successful TV writer to think he's created recreation. Very good shows. I don't follow Ken tremendous. But apparently people I follow re tweet him all the time. Because he's always on my timeline. I don't know why. He's a very smart guy. I don't know. You can follow him. I don't follow them. But you can follow him a lot about the news right now is he all over the news is he a no, I don't know. I'll tell you. It's Twitter says that he's all about the news right now. Is that right? Yeah. I don't know. I don't follow it. I don't know the liberal. I gotta read and find out. I can't really those liberals. Believable. Can you believe those? Yes, of course. Little bit liberal. You're a little bit liberal. Of you out on it. There's a couple. John. We love you. All right. Do you guys the love John same here? John Hayman coming. He is great and probably liberal Avery. I would say definitely is Avery. Williamson. Will join us at twelve noon will come back. Get back to your full of stuff. We're allowed right. Right. Broadcasting has New York City area campuses. It's traffic advocates New Jersey and Westbury Long Island now before my training. I had no idea. It'd be living out my dream going to work every day to talk about sports on air at the the Connecticut's willowbrook casting while it made it possible, and I learned all aspects of the industry from behind the scenes production and audio and video the air performance..

"The addictive internet use restructuring the brain scientific American does high at does addictive internet use restructure, the brain the way, the young brain, especially develops a UCLA study found that internet use has a has a market reaction on brain function. Some people will say. It's a positive thing because it stimulates your brain activity. The study the first of its kind to assess the impact of searching on on brain performance is currently and they're giving us a little preview of this was some years ago. The study results back in two thousand eight were encouraging that emerging computerized technologies may have physiological effects and potential benefits for middle aged and older adults. That's interesting. So they're still pursuing this study. And it's a it's a it's a long-term study internet, searching engages complicated brain activity, which may help exercise and improve brain function in older Americans. That's interesting to the younger Americans see the older Americans. Remember, they grew up without the internet use. So they were able to develop their cognitive functions and not have so much at least of that. I think the caller is right that instant gratification. I want the information now now now no ability to be patient and find the answer reason through a problem. I want the answer. Now, let's go to Richard globe. Arizona line one, Richard. This is a big topic. It's up. There are a lot of different aspects of this. I don't want to sound like, I'm I'm anti technology. I'm not anti technology. But we have to be honest about sometimes where it takes us, Richard. Laura, Richard violence is a big problem in Kentucky killed his mother. Father is twelve year olds here because. Computer was taken from the girl tried to poison her grandparents if you're a teacher in the school and the kid breaks the rules by having a cell phone. You literally risk your life trying to get away from because all of their personal information on that phone, and they will fight you keep that phone now. We're overlooking this factor these phones, this technology is making our kids crazy. Louis crazy because so much personal information. Let's see. Well, let's bring out the issues, Richard. I'm glad you raised that issue violence. Jealousy. Obviously. But that's with Facebook. And checking everyone else what they're doing jealousy. Bullying. Online porn, sexting. And I think that addictive quality, which is this is obvious. I mean, I feel like I use it too much. Right. I it's addicting. It is addicting constantly be in touch. Always always always plugged in. Always. I mean, you don't relax. Relax, but experiencing life. How about breathing looking at the beauty around you instead of craning your neck downward to the smartphone. We went to a concert last week at the Verizon center here are people that paid hundreds of dollars to be on the floor of this concert. Every one of them almost to a person has the cell phone in front of their faces recording the concert. Why didn't you just wait for the video release? They'll release it on DVD. Eventually, they're not really. They're not experiencing experiencing it via television, the a screen when the person is right in front of you..

"Welcome back to overnight. Eric. Let me losing battery power pretty good. It's just past here. So now, Tuesday We're getting close till the end of December. Then December will hit like a wrecking ball. Just like Miley Cyrus predicted. Show digital stuff. I saw this story. And I was a little a little upset. Now, let's say upset, but don't fall for things. Like this. This is from Bloomberg scared. Your DNA is exposed then share it scientists suggest all these tech companies have suggested things like this member. When Facebook said, hey, if you have nude photos, why don't you just send us in? Then what we'll do is. We'll make sure if anyone post them up. We'll delete 'em really quick. Yes. Send us all your nude photos Facebook. So how many times have you heard? Let's say the police come up to you. Byu personally, probably haven't heard it. But you've heard stories like if you have nothing to hide then go ahead and let us search your car your house, but they don't have a warrant. You should say. Now, get a warrant all handled in it doesn't matter just by saying no consenting to voluntarily give up one of your rights by saying, no, I'm not allowing you to do that doesn't mean you're guilty of anything. What it means is. Well, you have rights you should use them K. So how about this? When scientists say go ahead and give us your DNA. What do you have to hide don't fall for it period? A group of medical. Researchers have a proposal for shielding people's most intimate personal data share it research. Researchers suggest that the best way to protect genetic information might be for all Americans here all Americans to deposit their data in a universal nationwide DNA database. This. You know, it's funny it for a while there. You had the Alex Jones is out there. They sounded like really wild crazy conspiracy theorists, and they would say things like this. They're coming up with a DNA database, and everybody's going to be in there. In everyone laughed at him because he's putting on these tin foil hats, but my goodness. The scientists now are saying, you know, let's do this. How about we? We don't care if you volunteer it or not we're just gonna create a DNA database, and we're gonna make sure every person in America or even the world has logged by the government in track that way. It's like the idea of putting these little chips into your body every time when you were born we're going to inject a ship into your kid. And then we're going to keep him on the gray. And we're going to monitor him, we're gonna know everything he's doing at all times. And everyone's like now, it's never going to happen. Well, people are voluntarily chip in themselves because they think it's more convenient. They put these chips in there because they say also is great on ever have to carry a. Credit card ever again. I could just keep the chip. Right. My hand and scan it wherever I go want this be just wonderfully convenient, you know, it's the same people that don't mind having these listening devices in their home saying don't voluntarily give up your privacy voluntarily doing all of these things you should fight to keep your privacies and everything you do. But instead we're doing the silly thing which is laid down and say, okay, we'll give everything you want. What's that mean that has been around online in his pretty funny, and it basically, it's you know, the person's cooking. It says, hey, government wiretap. Can you give me a good recipe for cookies? It's your dressing knowing what it is. But you're complicit because you're fine. You like what it has to offer? You. So me go further in this article from Bloomberg it says if enhancing privacy by creating a giant database of people's DNA sounds counter intuitive. The group's point is that you already have too much out there. So. Hardy given up enough information. So you really don't have anything to lose at this point. So it goes back to the old adage, what do you have to hide if you're not doing anything wrong shouldn't be like that? Don't fall for things like that. What do you got to hide or you're doing something wrong? Then you might as well, let us do this or do that. No, no, no, no, don't voluntarily give up. Your privacy is currently law enforcement already has potential access to people's data says Jim hazo researcher at Vanderbilt University and lead author of a paper a universal system would be much easier to regulate this. We might as well handed over to the government. So they can regulate it because we all know government doesn't excellent job by itself. Keeping everything the way it should be right now. Thanks, no, thanks in the US state and federal databases, hold the genetic data of more than sixteen and a half million people who have been arrested or convicted of a crime other public and private databases grant access to the genetic details of millions with court permission. I here's the thing. Sometimes you can't help it. Your information gets leaked, okay? Sometimes it's nothing. You did wrong. You have these equifax is in places like that. That have pretty much received no consequences from the government, and they leak your personal information in all of this information gets out there. Millions of people susceptible to identity thefts for the rest of their lives because lousy companies like equifax don't report the breach in a things get worse, and they don't secure the information properly and now things like social security numbers and addresses and driver's license numbers. And really really private information has been leaked to the internet. And there's nothing you can do about it nothing. You did wrong is lousy. It's terrible. So you know, what the answer shouldn't be. Well, I guess if it happened to those millions. You know, it's probably going to happen everyone. So everyone might as well put everything they have out on the line now. Thanks get to Jeff real quick and Ferguson, Jeff what's going on. I still can't believe a tornado warning. And then a few hours coating on the ground of snow. I know can't you blizzard warning up north or wherever it was. And then you have tornadoes coming through Saint Louis crazy. Yeah. Anyway. About that DNA stuff you're talking about. Yeah. What's gonna stop? Is. There any laws that say they can't buy that information from these DNA testing type that touch your family background. You know, this is something I brought up to and it's funny because I brought this up to producer Ben in the past. And he says this is my tinfoil hat conspiracy theory thing going on. But I said, you know, there's nothing really prevents these companies from selling this data. They pretend like it's it's so secure. And it's locked in a vault. Nothing will ever happen until they start selling it because they can. And you know, what they put it in their their bylaws, or whatever when you sign up for this sort of thing that your DNA kept on record forever. You can tell them to you know, you can tell them to disperse. You never really know if they do you can tell them to destroy the sample, but they keep all the data and they could sell it to third parties at their own leisure. If they want to even after you opt out of this sort of thing, don't even. Yeah. It happens when you're tied onto apple or any of that stuff. Yes. You have to follow their yet decided that agreement or you can't do it. Yeah. No one reads all those things who knows what you're green to. That's why the government protections have to be in place to make sure that these companies don't take advantage of these people that are getting these services, and we may laugh at people like Alex shown, but sometimes sometimes. Yeah. Stuff like this. Yeah. I'll I'll tell you about Alex Jones a lot of the times the things he's saying in the crazy conspiracy theories actually are rooted in some sort of truth. Like, there was some study somewhere that mentioned this sort of thing, or there are some news article where this sort of thing happen. He's just such a nutball in the way, he presents it people automatically rejected. So the problem is when he's right on certain things. Everyone says oh, no is just him being him. You know, and I don't like Alex Jones, I should put that disclaimer out there. But the problem is this is this is sad. Because a lot of these things as far fetched as they sound are actually happening. Well, this is all about that's the only drawback for me ever think about I think about doing that once in a while. But then I just think how secure is that information. Yeah. Don't trust it. Unfortunately, a best thing you can do if you really like genealogy going, you can go to one of those services or whatever. And try to study your family tree go to libraries and learn that sort of thing, and there's a lot of resources out there. You don't have to give a DNA sample, which they'll keep it on public..

"That's good. Right. Trying to make it as easy as we can for you. Hold on a second. We're about to get to get into a a little fantasy football information here. Just I'm just infatuated with this. Laker rockets of fight, you know, what I have to add to this little bit too. Again, this show comes to you from Los Angeles gassner sitting here in LA and. Vlad was telling us before the show that he was over at Staples Center tonight and word is is that Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo wives had to be separated down in the bowels of staple center after the contest was over. So we know this EP three and Rondo got into it. But we're hearing from a pretty reliable source around here that the wives had got into a little shouting match down in the tunnels at Staples Center, and they had to be separated, we're not far the locker rooms are from each other. Well, you know, it's actually they were talking about this with the fight a year ago, the secret passageway and all that kind of stuff, but the way it's set up they kind of funnel into each other. Not going to say that it's it's unavoidable. You certainly go other ways. But yeah, I think that's interesting even the wives were going at it come on really three the season. What could you have the beef about? Wow. All right fantasy football week seven crazy stuff and fantasy football. Always. You have to deal with the the injuries as a fantasy football. But one of the things that you the wildcards that are thrown edges when somebody gets traded like Carlos Hyde who was traded from the Cleveland Browns to Jacksonville. Now. Obviously, he's not going to be able to get with the playbook. I mean, I'd be shocked if I saw him out in the field. So I got to give him a little bit of time to get ready. But the flip side of that what this means is that in Cleveland, it means Nick chubs going to start getting the ball. Now do Johnson has always been like the receiving back. So that's kind of his role. I think if you had Nick chub or he's available to you could get him. That's somebody you gonna go grab for simple volume purposes. And Duke Johnson, you just hope that maybe his numbers go up if you have him or you're thinking about maybe trying to scoop some of that gravy. Maybe his numbers go up a little bit along with that by the elimination of Carlos high being out of that committee, and it's more like just a tandem like a lot of teams out. So that's a that's a crazy thing. Here's another thing. We like to do to we'd like to share with you information from different places and move it around. So we're not like getting all of our information for one spot. I mean, I do my little ranking thing every week and I throw that in the mix all along with everything else. And from there pick the favorites. So today what we're going to use is we use NFL network. That's kind of default at their our neighbors are pals down the street, and we use them a lot. So like to mix it up and go someplace else sporting news offer cinnamon star is going to be one of our references that will use. And here's what they think about quarterbacks today. And they do it a little bit different is another reason why to bring this to you. Because of your fantasy football player. You're always looking for information. You're looking for easy to digest of sporting news. Does a pretty good job of their sitting start every week. So fantasy football week seven starting quarterbacks and the way they do it strong starts, and they'll tell you that Matt Ryan Andy Dalton Jared Goff. Jameis winston. These guys are all strong starts that they feel confident about three. Three deep means. They're not quite in there. But they're definitely not sit him either. Mitch Trubisky is the three D C CJ Beathard is in their Dak Prescott is in there. And then right after that they've got their system quarterbacks and sit him or weaker starts is the way they put the first group is Andrew luck. Matt Stafford Shawn Watson at a year ago, these Andrew luck. But Matt Stafford John Watson gigantic numbers. Now. They're on on weaker starts to sit Louis crazy. Joe flacco on that list to manning. No surprise, Blake Bortles three deep even lower than that is case keenum Brock Osweiler and Alex Smith full. Wow. So sporting news a slightly different approach. And look at the way, they do the whole system and start him thing. Let's keep going with with their info here into running backs and same thing. They're strong starts actually in this one. They got regular starts guys that you know, you're starting every week. I don't care. The opponent is your role in Todd Gurley out there. You're rolling Ezekiel Elliott out there. David Johnson hope hopefully going forward after Mike McCoy's been removed. Now, they can open up the offense. I know Byron left, which is a play caller. I know him as a former NFL quarterback. But apparently he's going to be the guy calling the plays for Arizona going forward. And you gotta hope they will do something to get David Johnson the ball a little bit more. But Alvin Kamara Ingram, Christian McCaffrey. These guys are regular started that you put out there every week. Now, the strong start guys again were referencing sporting news is we and using their info. Matt Brita is a strong start for them live Shawn McCoy, and you know, what he hasn't been a very popular pick of this year. But at the colts, they think that he's a strong start. That's interesting kerryon Johnson. I believe that that's the that winds up with with my way of thinking, I think the kerryon Johnson could have a real big day for the giants in this contest. Alex Collins who has been a guy that has not been a favourite in fantasy football a lately except for the two touchdowns a couple of weeks ago. Tevin coleman. This guy's a strong start. Devante Freeman is done. Well, at least for eight weeks. Maybe he comes back in eight weeks. Maybe not. I mean, you kind of see where they're at where he's at before you worry about that. But for fantasy purposes he's done that means as an uptick in Coleman's work usage that also means Smith is going to get some more. But Kevin Kevin Coleman a strong start Royce Freeman and Philip Lindsay looked deserted happened, but Philip Lindsey was what am I strong starts of the week. Anyway. I love this guy's game. He just explodes through the line. You talk about guys that have explosiveness, man. Philip Lindsay is really got it Peyton Barbara's also on this list. So as calling lot of people think the tar Cohen is on the rise for Chicago as well. They're going to take on the patriots in what should be an interesting match up. I think to now as far as running backs on the downside. And this is bad news for the bears for Jordan Howard owners because the game flow is probably going to go against him. That's one of the things that they want to stop New England or anybody that plays them is Jordan Howard. And he struggled a little bit this year. I was hoping for a breakout season. I traded for this guy to get him on my team, and he's been disappointing so far, but you know, they're still trying to figure things out there in Chicago. Nick Chubb, strangely is on their list. Now, I don't have him on here at all. I think Nick is a start. In this game, simply because of volume purposes, no more Carlos Hyde. But again, this is a this is one of the guys that were rolling with this time just to share information latavius Murray. I think is also a good start because dalvin cook is not gonna play here. So I'm not agreeing with a whole lot of things on this. But again, hey, we'd like to bring you different perspective different people every week when we're talking about the fantasy football in the information. Now, let's get to quickly to a wide receivers. This is always a possible a popular one. And, you know, juju an AB and de'andre. These guys are all Michael Tom is Julio Jones their automatic starts every week. You know, Keenan Allen devante, Adam Stefan, digs come on. You know, tyreek hill golden Tate. These guys are all automatic starts us start them. They're your studs. If they're playing for the Philadelphia Eagles than they're playing for you. Now, some stronger starts that we're going to put in here. And actually a guy that's been on my radar for upside. And he's about ready to have a breakout game is Josh Gordon. I'm going off the scripture. This is off my own stuff. He looks like he's ready to go off could happen anytime. Maybe it's this week against the bears. His targets have risen each of the last three weeks. He just had nine nine targets against Kansas City had five catches in. There is on the field for sixty three of seventy eight snaps. I'm telling you. Josh Gordon is going to start to become a bigger part of this patriots. Offenses, Tom Brady gets more and more familiar knows where he's going to be on the field where he calls different plays like him a lot to Sean Jackson, his popular this week on these strong starts lists here for our friends d Jackson's one sterling shepherd is another one by tell you what the whole ally. Manning thing has got me really concerned about anything has to do with the giants is ability to keep that offense going, man. He's going to have to really really buckle down dig deep. Whatever you want to say to get. The to some of the skills that he needs to make that offense run. Because man to say they're struggling the understatement of the world right now Markey's Goodwin. Remember, we told you Mark is good. When you wanted to see what happened with CJ? I looks like he's coming around looks like he's healthy, and that's important too. So that makes him a possible, really solid. Start going forward. Now wide receivers on the sit- category will fuller a full fuller review. I've been carried him around calling him around here fuller v as a problem and his name is KiKi QT that guy has taken the targets away from him. He's also dealing with a bad hamstring problem. So we'll fuller somebody on the downside Crabtree. Somebody on the downside Nelson. Aguilar on the downside Marvin Jones junior Damaris Thomas. I knew you don't want to hear all there's a couple of my guys around this. Let's do like Marvin Jones junior Calvin really Muhammed's to new all of these guys are on the lists. Corey Davis all of them on the wide receivers sit list from our our partners in fantasy football. This week is a sporting news. So thanks to the sporting news and sharing their information with us this week. All right coming up next on the program. We're going to take a look at written down you take a look at the NBA season. "I'm gonna tell you about it. And why you should avoid the scaremongering and later. Your boss main raw view, but doesn't love giving you raises. What are you gonna do about that? We're gonna talk. We're gonna talk about something else too. And that is the affordability of housing construction for businesses apartments, you name it. We've got a serious problem in the United States with affordability because construction costs have gone Kopf Louis crazy, you talked to any builder. And he or she will tell you the biggest problem they have. Is getting enough workers who were qualified to do the work and meeting construction schedules. There's a solution to this that is right before our eyes. Only. There little hints of people seizing the opportunity presents. And that is a weird one. Using shipping containers. As what you use for housing retail businesses. Apartments individual homes and apartments. Schools and around the world and in spots around the United States people were doing that shipping containers and are quick hurry can be made into suitable housing or retail business. The other day, I was at a shopping center that was partially traditional construction and partially shipping containers. And the creativity used with shipping containers. They look like an art form following the devastating earthquake that hit New Zealand areas that had had their commercial districts just devastated we're able to get back up and running in a big hurry by using shipping container. So we in the United States have a massive supply these things just sitting unloved at various ports of entry. They stack up as high as you can see as far as you can see I'm loved on us. And they can be very quickly. Converted into housing or obviously retail. And so we miss opportunities when we look at problems only with the solutions were used to instead of looking for solutions that require excuse the pun out of the box thinking. In orlando. There's a new retail development that is almost entirely shipping containers. And it's really good looking. So there are. These opportunities for us to do things quicker and more efficiently than we're doing in the United States and the opportunities and housing. Where so often local zoning only recognizes traditional sticks up building. Fails to appreciate or account for the issue of affordability for so many Americans. There's individuals trying to live on their own or his family's trying to afford a home. We've got to embrace the opportunities that the shipping containers offer, and that's not the only kind of solution. But it's one that we should absolutely embrace, and you may wonder could've shipping container anything other than ugly. Yes. It can just look online. Look at some of the pictures of some of the developments using them. You'll be surprised Jamie joins us on the car coward show. Hi, jamie. Hey, Clark real. Able to speak with you. Well, great to have you here. Jamie, and congratulations you've got a daughter who's done with school. It's one of those mixed adulation says great she finally got to it took her six and a half years. Of course. Well, how long did it take John Belushi in animal house was it twelve years or something? Take him. So six and a half is not terrible. But as a result paying tuition, she's accumulated some debt, and so she is over. Over thirty thousand dollars in debt. And even though that we've been my wife, and I we've been paying.
