As more big companies purchase housing developments. Folks come in, purchased the buildings and then raise the rents to what the current market is. That would help organizations like nonprofits in acquiring property, keeping rents at an affordable rate. They're also asking the state to pitch in $500 million to help with this effort. "This is the Gemayel report with Carl Tamayo and Lou Penrose. The fight continues. I love it. When Maryland Haider goes ahead and steals my teas and Gives you this story before I can give you the story. That's okay. That's because she's good at what she does. Aziz was just reported the county, San Diego decided not to appeal the judge's decision in hole. Ah, the county of supervisors decided to narrow cast their appeal. Uh it seemingly is starting to develop, perhaps even what would be a compromise here. They're only appealing the ban, their only appealing the lifting of the ban on indoor dining, as well as the lifting of the ban on strip clubs. Therefore, they are saying we're okay with the outdoor dining remaining. Uh, open. So that is a big development. The county of San Diego will be appealing, but their arguments will be different, um than the state of California. My hope is that the county supervisors that Are interested in having outdoor dining approved. They need to meet with the county lawyers and make sure that they are faithful to the will of the county board. Um So Fletcher getting back to Fletcher. Uh, there is, uh, this argument that he makes it the very end, So we basically have gone through and exposed the fact that he complains the judge had no data. It's actually the county that did not give data to the judge repeatedly. And the same thing happened in L. A And the county public health officer basically agrees with the people that brought the lawsuit and the judges, quoting the county public health officer. Hey, then says we're doing it all in the name of public health. And of course that reveals that he doesn't really understand the U. S Constitution and the protocols for these public health orders. You have to show that your public health remedy Your limitation, your lockdown. Whatever your regulation is narrowly tailored and absolutely justified by the data. That is what the U. S. Supreme Court has stated. As recently as Thanksgiving. That is now what the U. S. Supreme Court has used in not one, but two but three separate cases. Throwing out covered 19 restrictions in the blue states. The past two weeks. So long. This seems to be clarifying. Even the Fletcher also says the judge handed down a ruling that was confusing. No, it was It was plain English. It was surprising which lead to confusion. But the ruling itself is quite clear. County doesn't have the data. County public health officials, Dr Wilma Wooten. Agrees with the plaintiffs. In this case, air go I as judge will agree with the plaintiffs as well. So finally He wants to wrap it up with now that I've told you that I'm right and you're wrong. Let me also let you know that I really don't want to hurt the restaurants. I don't want jobs to be destroyed. And you know what? The restaurant industry agrees with me on this one. Already lost enough of the coffee that was drinking, spinning it up on the science side that this is, you know, I just got fired on this one. Here's Nathan Fletcher trying to claim that even the restaurant industry knows that he's not the bad guy. He's doing nothing wrong. He's not trying to hurt them. No. A big bag, boogie man. This cove. It Audio number nine and so no one wants to close any businesses at all. None of us want to be doing any of this. I went outside business under the other day and their businesses closing because they went through a Coben and he said, Nathan, You didn't close my business to public health ordered and close my business. Cove in 18 Close my business. There are negative impacts from the things that are being taken, but they are less severe than what will happen and what I fear will becoming in the weeks and months ahead. Uh huh. It sounds awfully similar to, uh, Barack Obama. You didn't build that business. I built that business. Yeah. You didn't close that business coming 19 close that business. You realize no one like thinks the way you are, Nathan. They know that No one said that to you. No same business owner, Particularly a restaurant owner would look you in the eye and say, Gee, Nathan, I know it's not your fault. I know you didn't close my business. I know that you're only following the science, which, by the way, all the restaurants know the science is not existent. I know that you're absolutely right that even though Los Angeles shut down all their restaurants in March And they're having the same covert 19 surge that we're having here in San Diego and our restaurant. Shut down. You know what? 45 weeks ago for indoor? Um, I know that somehow, you know that these cases are actually all driven by the restaurant industry. No. No one said that David No one said that Um What you're trying to do is pretend like All the carnage all the job losses, all the pain all the suffering all the businesses that have gone under It's not your fault. It's really better for them in the long run. I love how he says it's better for you in the long run, because the pain today will be worth the salvation of saving the lives long term. Hold on a second. We've had the worst lockdowns. Here in California. And yet we have the same sort of covert 19 search. Meanwhile, in red states that did not have these severe lockdowns. They're going through the same process that all former presidents are all outgoing presidents engage in Um, so nothing about this is unique. There. "Gemayel report with Carl Tamayo and Lou Penrose. The fight continues. Okay, so Fies Ear's vaccine is out there and they have a CEO Albert Bhola. Uh, he is being questioned and rightfully so. As to why did you not? Take your company's vaccine yet Why have you not gotten a dose? Here's audio one Fizer CEO kind of feels like it has this energy of perhaps stop. That wrong Audio one audio one visors CEO. This is a vaccine that was developed without cutting corners from a company off with 171 years off credentials. This is a vaccine that was developed in the spotlight on the day life with all the data being put in servers. This is a vaccine but has been approved in the U. S. By two separate Governmental agencies to see the sea under the A. After listening to two separate, independent scientific box one. It is the idea and the other is the tape from From for the CDC and this vaccine but is getting approved by all the foreigners in the world. So that should say something to them and I repeat once more, but this is a lot to vaccinate will not affect on me. Your health or your life, unfortunately, will affect the lives off others and likely the lives of the people You love the most, which are the people that usually you are in contact with. So, uh, Think trust science. Great. Glad that you're on record saying all that it was vigorously and you know, transparently developed. And by golly, you got to get the vaccine to save lives that you trust science. Wonderful. Thank you very much, not take the damn vaccine. Why are you not taking the vaccine? Alright. You just went through a whole bunch of gobbledygook that we're going to here on. You know, from government ministers up and down the spectrum. Why are you not taking the vaccine? Well, he says. It's it's because he's being virtuous. Really Here's audio, too. Sooner. Uh, I can. I will the only sensitivity here. Uh, Maggie is that, uh, I don't want to have an example. But I'm cutting the line. But I'm 59 years old in good health. I'm not working in the front line, and so my type is not recommended to get vaccination. Not so That's one question the rest. On the other hand, our company running a lot off poles to see what we take people to believe it and one of the highest ranking even higher than if Joe Biden takes it even higher here than if the other presidents take it. It is He's the CEO of the company takes. So with that in mind, I'm trying to find the way that I will get vaccinated this fight. If it is not my My time just demonstrate the confidence of the company. But you have made the decision. But if we have to do that, we will not do it with our executives s O. None of the executives of board members will cut the line that will take it as their aides. On the occupation type is is a time for them today, OK, so basically what you're saying is you did polling And Maurin important than Joe Biden taking the vaccine, or Kamala Harris or other world leaders taking the vaccine. You Taking the vaccine would give a lot of people confidence. But you're not taking the vaccine. And you're telling us the reason? Why is that you don't want people to think that you're cutting in line. No, I don't think they're gonna think you're cutting in line. They're going to say, how do we trust Fizer? And they've done polling and they can show the scientific polling that says we did a poll and it said that at least one of our key executives need to take this to show that you know, it's all good. So we're just gonna pick one board member and one on the CEO, and that's it and the two of them. Nobody is going to sit there and say, Well, ha ha. They're cutting in line. No, they're not gonna do that. They're going to say this gives me confidence. That even though it was a very, uh, rapidly developed vaccine Operation warp speed. We got it done in record time. Historic achievement all those things. We know we can trust it because the CEO who knows everything about that vaccine. And is going to get briefed on everything on that vaccine has said here I am on live television taking the vaccine. Yesterday I made the case that Biden and Harris should take the vaccine. I've made the case that pen should make take the vaccine. I would like to see Melania Trump take the vaccine. Um, you don't need to do more than that. Do. I think members of Congress should get the vaccine Hells to the now know they can get in line like everyone else. On bright Now That's what vouch he is suggesting. Well, continuity. Continuity of government. We have to make sure all the bureaucrats in Washington take the vaccine, okay? Get me the head of the FDA. Get me the head of the HHS. We have the two of them get the vaccine, but you don't need to do legions of bureaucrats that's cutting in line. Cutting in line is the entire Congress of 535 people taking the vaccine ahead of where their category would warrant them. This is not cutting in line and anyone that wants to suggest it seriously. It really is a stupid move on the part of This Peiser CEO. Not to do this. 806 100 Kogo 806 105 646 at Carl Tamayo. Do you agree? Should we insist that the Fizer CEO and a handful of other prominent government officials like the head of the FDA Ahh as the vice president? The incoming president. Elective. That's what they want to call him. Should we have that be a national, you know on TV live administration of the vaccine. Overcome some of these doubts because I've told you there are issues with public sentiment as it relates to this vaccine. And we're going to overcome that. And yesterday we heard from an evac sirs that say they don't want to take the vaccine and they laid out their case. Why, um And we we had a great conversation about that. I simply said, I don't believe government onto mandate anyone take the vaccine. We're gonna have a whole big debate about that coming up. Mark my words, The mandates are gonna start coming out. They shut down your church. They're gonna require that you take a vaccine. That's exactly the mindset of these people. So mark my words. That's what we're gonna be in for in terms of a national debate, but Even though I don't support government mandating people to wear a mask or to take a vaccine. I've said you know what? I may have reservations about the efficacy of masks in terms of, you know, being an end all be all solution, but it probably is gonna help And it doesn't hurt wearing a mask, So just do it, for goodness sakes. The polite thing to do as well. Shows that at least of others are weren't really super worried. And then a mask is the silver bullet that you're mindful of their feelings standing on the vaccine. I have a little bit of concern. I don't want to get the symptoms, but Trust. I actually do trust in the protocols and systems that we have. So I will be taking the vaccine. Whenever my number's called or whatever. But this visor CEO not taking the vaccine. Government officials the significant ones not not not doing it on live TV. I've got a big problem with this. 806 100 kogo 806 105 646. Coming up. We do have to talk about Twitter's decision and the social media giants that the conversation we're having right now. The reason why we're bringing it to your attention is that when we do find verified actual proof, in addition to all the affidavits that are associated with these court cases of people who say I swear under penalty of perjury That and you could take my first dog in my firstborn that the following things happened. Well, we're also now peppering in Is whenever we find it. The actual corroborating evidence, All right, So when the Democrats say there's no corroborating evidence You can point to this, however. We are also acknowledging that we've yet to see the smoking gun that says, Well, clearly, just on this basis of this evidence alone, it's an open shut case. Truth is in the middle. My friends, all right. The media is lying to you by saying it's a complete done deal on and we want you to be the informed person. We're being very, very careful to be fair about covering this stuff and letting you decide as to whether the defendant rises to that level. The state of Arizona can't under its own law can call in a special section without a supermajority. Which would mean Democrats to call the session. Yeah, that's troubles. I mean, that's a that's a problem that zat the fault of the speaker, even though I don't love his language. So in Georgia, we brought you the story yesterday of the video of people counting ballots after the Republicans left and the other the officials in Georgia Recounting ballots pulling him out from underneath tables from 10 o'clock at night, all the way to one o'clock in the morning. Um, after telling the Republican observers and the media we're not counting any more ballots. That's a damning video. Um, the video is there for anyone to see it was presented to the Georgia Legislature. Um, and it also backs up the sworn affidavits of Republican observers. So again, this is what we're always looking for. It's not just the sworn statement. Attached to a lawsuit. That's what we call an allegation. Yes, it's an allegation made under penalty of perjury, but it's It's someone saying, I saw this when you can come up with corroborating evidence to support that he out the allegation. That's the gold. That's the gold standard. That's what you want to say. Um, you know how the media fact check that video. Here's an example. This is a public broadcasting Georgia public broadcasting headline. Fact Check Video doesn't show election fraud in Georgia. And it goes on to basically say that you know, a A and I love how they present the story. They say, you know, there's all these conspiracy theories out there. Q and on and Peddling fraud claims. It's all loaded with pejorative language. Um, the video here is not the video of of counting ballots after hours. This is a video of, um, posted by Ron Walk ins that says, uh, Uh, quote Watch Dominion representative at Gwinnett County Election Central responsible for tabulating ballots and certifying results download data from a To a USB device from Election management server. Plug it into a laptop manipulate data than then palm the U. S. D the USB S. Oh, that's what his allegation is. What Georgia Public broadcasting says is Oh, this is you know again, the headline Fact Check video doesn't show election fraud, And so I'm thinking, okay. So there's gonna be proof positive that this is that this did not happen. The only thing that they offer in this story. Is a statement from the office manager in that county, saying, quote. No, this was just part of the recount process. He's using a USB drive to transfer a report about a recently counted batch of ballots to computer equipped with a program to read it, Um they're going to say quote. We don't know when the video was recorded or by home, but it appears to have been during the state's recent recount. Cornered off section of the room where the recording was made was open to public. And so I read this and I'm like what part of this disproves the allegation. That's right. Now they pick and choose the phrase that they want. They want toe fact check and they leave gaping holes in their argument. Well, they're they're headlines. Ally. Their headline says, Oh, in fact, check this wasn't true. Know the proper headline is County official denies allegation of tampered data That's the proper headline here, which means that there's still a dispute. There's a video that alleges one thing. There's a response by the person being accused of malpractice. I didn't do it, OK, that is a proper way to two in a fair way to cover the story. What you're seeing right here is frankly, a bias story, and I would put it in the category of fake news. On DSA. This is the frustrating thing my friends and this is why I've talked to the Democrats who listen to the show. When you say you're peddling fake news about election fraud. I take that seriously. And so when we present stories, we present the data. We let people decide for themselves. We lay out both sides. No. There is no disproving happening here. There is a dispute. One side says. One thing. The other side, says, the other, but you cannot sit there and claim that it's disproven. Because it's not if you're being intellectually honest, and that's not what we're seeing by the media right now, Um, they're in the get over at mode. And when we're still finding evidence, I mean, we're still finding you know, was still finding the irregularities. 2% in the state of Arizona. You have people counting ballots after the other ballot watchers were ordered to leave. I mean, that is valuable. There's a laundry list of numbers from Georgia that the Trump campaign has asserted our numeric evidence of fraud. Plus, Georgia's governor finally has come around on a major audit issue, and it could actually be a game changer. We'll get to that next on the Dubai report, but first I'll check in. Lord Kane is checking on Friday afternoon traffic.

"This is the Tamayo report with Carl Tamayo and Lou Penrose. We the people are done for upset and we're ready to fight back. And that was our way of saying You know what you're gonna tell us. We have to stay in our home at 10 p.m.. Well, guess what? We're gonna be outside at 10 01, and there's nothing that you can do about it because we're not breaking the law and we are protected by the U. S prime The story behind the story would hope The people who are pushing back on the recommendations for mitigation measures. Just look at the numbers. Look at the fax. The fight continues. Last Thursday, We brought you the audio of Sidney Powell, who says that the Dominion Software company voting company That they're in on a conspiracy that the software could be manipulated, Hacked programmed to move votes from one Candidate to another, and that she's got all sorts of evidence, but she doesn't want to show it yet. But she's got the evidence to show that this is a grand conspiracy. On. It was all the software that did it. She was part of the press conference on Thursday. We played you her her arguments. Tucker Carlson, who's had Sidney Powell on his show, Um many times understands. Yeah, she was General Flynn's is General Flynn's Lawyer, Um It tried to get information from city Powell off air, You know, for a couple days, you know. Hey, So can you brief us on what's going on? And you know what? What evidence? Do you have give us a good estimation? City. Powell got really militant really argumentative and decided not to go on Tucker Carlson and threatened Tucker Carlson. Time across and is a trump supporter. He is a conservative. He's a good guy. Um, he's not part of the conspiracy. I can guarantee that. Over the weekend. The Trump people distance themselves from city Powell, putting out a very terse statement saying that city Powell is not a member member of the Trump legal team. And that she's acting in her personal capacity. What do you make of that, Lou? So I mean, I It wasn't Wasn't strong enough of a statement for me to suggest that they don't want her saying what she's saying It does give her the freedom to say things that may or may not necessarily be beneficial to other Republicans. So I I'm not sure what to make of it. Other than She's not stopping and her statements are still very, very powerful a zone she presents the evidence. And that's the question. You think that Because time is of the essence it Why does she just come out with whatever she's got? I mean, if this is true And she's strident about how easy a case it is and how she's got the goods. If this is true, honey, let it out there in the open. You know what the hell are you waiting for? We have states that air certifying results, and this is gonna be hard to prove. So you might as well get the stuff out there Now This sounds to me like it's the grand conspiracy. That they never want to show you the evidence. It's always what we were prevented from showing evidence because the courts wouldn't let us in. Well, that's not good enough. Go to the court of public opinion. We're big boys were big girls. We can handle it. Shall we just let it out? City. Power is not a coupe, though she she's she's alerted constitutional attorney. She's a scholar. She's been doing this for a long time. Esso it it she has. She has earned credibility at least as far as I'm concerned to follow her this this far I'm willing to go one step further. But I don't know what what is causing the delay at this point. Okay. I got an email. Just right now from Paul, he says Hi, Carl. The machines are programmed for biting to get enough votes to win there. Also programmed as to not be detected when the count program is checked. Thanks, Paul. Hey, Paul. Appreciate you reaching out. What's the proof? Send me data. Send me information. Send me proof. And I will give that proof and airing on this show. Both Lou and I would love to see the proof. Do. I think it's possible? Yeah, I think it's possible software can be manipulated and again. I don't trust the deep state. Um This is absolutely possible. But you can't just have a theory. My friends. You gotta have the smoking gun. That's where we are. We're in the big boys. This is the Big Boy League. The big girl League. Whichever your gender is or if you're still trying to figure out joint joined. Both legs were open. But this is tough. Stop. This is serious stuff. It needs to have a serious presentation. And so I do agree with you that Trump's team is probably like, okay, this is cookie, and if she's wrong about it, it backfires on us. Also, by cutting her loose, she can criticize Republicans and it not it not be the president doing this. It's not interparty warfare. It's just City Powell. We can't control her. So I think they benefit by having her on the outside. But remember, she was at a press conference with Rudy Giuliani. She looked like she was a full fledged member of the legal team, just as recently as Thursday. So There's also a theory going on. And I think this is this is interesting theory to me that Giuliani and and, uh, the the entire trump legal team generals. They saw the evidence that Sidney Powell has, and they thought, Well, you know, this is going to cut both ways. This is gonna hurt Republicans and Democrats. So let's cut her loose. Let her let her make the case. With this bombshell information on de so that it doesn't it becomes its own thing that she becomes her own election fraud, hero or heroine. Andre. Let Z put a little You know a little daylight between this administration because there are still Republicans an administration that wanna have career when this is all over, including the governor of Georgia. What the hell is she waiting for? We're running out of time, literally. The Electoral college meets in two weeks. What are we waiting for? If you've got.

"Tamayo and Lou Penrose. The fight continues. Okay. So yesterday we brought you the news that Gavin Newsome and others have been saying that we shouldn't have Thanksgiving. Ah, Andrew Cuomo in New York, For example, uh, issued an order, um, limiting gatherings to no more than 10 people. On. He's targeting Thanksgiving by doing that. We also had Anthony Fauci on CNN. Celebrate the notion on air that Yeah, we're not gonna have Christmas this year. On. You know, the Liberals have always wanted to get rid of Christmas. They just needed to finally go into a public health emergency to get rid of it. Now, Um, we've got, um liberals trying to stop any sort of honoring of our fallen sword soldiers. There's an organization called Wreaths across America, and we've supported this organization on this show a number of times. Um one of my former staffers runs it. It basically puts a Christmas wreath. On every grave at Arlington National Cemetery and on in addition to that, the ad reads to a variety of military cemeteries. All around the country when they when they have enough funds to do it, but they always focus in on Arlington. This morning. We found out That? Well, first covert 19 canceled the in person fundraiser We were gonna have for reaching across America later on this month here in San Diego, as we've done in past years. But this morning, we found out that Arlington National Cemetery staff had been told that they would not allow the wreaths across America organization to step foot on Arlington Cemetery to distribute Wreaths. I said Covert 19. How did alcove in 19? I mean, there's not a gathering to it's outdoors. It's outdoors, for goodness sakes. All you're doing is putting a wreath on one grave and It's just one person doing it, for goodness sakes, your people involved in the landscaping of Arlington. That's the part I can't figure out. I mean, they're not that 16 people not showing up to hang the rate that they're just installing wreaths. No. And so that's how we greeted this morning and I was like, you must be joking. Me. Congressman Dan Crenshaw immediately tweeted out his discussed with the decision. Uh, the Internet lit up people just it just appalled by the decision. And, um, just about an hour ago, we got word. That the Secretary of Defense Office has intervened and said, Because this is a military cemetery, we will decide and the wreaths will be allowed to be. Placed on those grave sites so reached across America back in business, But here's the thing. The the person who made this decision. Whoever they are some bureaucrat. They're sitting there saying, Well, you know that this is needed for coffin. They don't have any science to back up this decision. That's just a knee jerk of a guy. And then we're gonna get rid of the Christmas trees this year. Yeah, if I can take down those damn crosses. I do that, too. But, hey, we're just gonna get rid of wreaths across America. Well, why Because covet well, But how does Kovac have anything to do with this? It's a risk. I just decided Cove. It's a good excuse. I mean, because they don't like nationalism, that anything that has to do with celebrating nationalism or giving anybody a great feeling of patriotism that serves to subliminally reinforce trump in their minds, and that's gotta go. They need to break that down. Anyone that wants to use Cove. It better have the evidence in the science on their side. But guess what? Nobody challenges him on it. Even the courts are reluctant, T intervene, saying, Well, you know if you don't like it, just get a new governor. If you don't like it, get a new mayor get a new court Board of Supervisors. Yeah. Good. Tell us that Be explicit. If the courts don't want to actually provide us with our constitutional freedoms, which again the courts are supposed to be our last defense for our constitutional freedoms. Um, you know that at least say, get rid of the governor. Get rid of your board of Supervisors. Yeah. Vote Nathan Fletcher out of office because he obviously doesn't give a rat's rear end about small business. Uh Pain and suffering and workers losing their job as long as he gets his paycheck. And believe me, he gets a hefty paycheck quarter million dollars a year, plus all the free goodies that he and Lorena are pulling in from lobbyists and campaign strategy, and he's got his own staff. He's got his own personal slaves because I'm doing and they all have salaries that are absolutely guaranteed. Um so What it requires is we have to demand Loudly age. Better justification If you're going to shut down a business or if you're gonna take away reads across America or if you're gonna take away Thanksgiving. You best have Provable, irrefutable evidence that this is the greatest risk that this thing will cause pain. You can't say well, better be safe than sorry. Well, what do you do next? Ban everyone from driving because you could get in an accident. That's right. People would say no, that's absurd, You know? Yeah. Yeah, you could get in an accident, but its infant is Emily possible and people can drive responsibly. Why don't we focus in on drunk drivers? How would we start there? But no, no, no, no, no, That's not what we're doing. We do have some bright spots. In New York, A group of sheriffs are now saying that they won't enforce Andrew Cuomo's Thanksgiving limitations. Um And I'm hopeful that it's happening here in the United States. I'm sorry here in San Diego and in California that people finally say enough. We're not going to Support these draconian draconian rules. I'm not surprised what most people don't know about New York. They think it's a blue state. It turns up blue because Manhattan is so amazingly blue, but The rest of New York is is quite conservative. Most of most of upstate from Westchester County, up to the Canadian border, and all the way to Lake Ontario is Republican. It's just there's nine million Democrats in Manhattan. And they all sound like you know the view. They all talk to each other, and everyone looked sounds like you know, will be Goldberg and the girls on the view. By the way, some breaking news truck Grassley Senator Chuck Grassley, who went into quarantine earlier today because he would have been exposed to someone with coded Apparently now has tested positive for covert 19, and he's pretty darn old, and he's also Senate Pro TEM. So he would leave 49 Chuck Grassley to pass away. No, um So there you go. That's some bad news there. We gotta talk. Also about what did when the hell did Gavin Newsom mean by a covert curfew? All the covert curve you and who are few. Wait. Do you find out what his sources are? Aunt is in his best practices where they come. That's next on the two mile report, but first traffic and Lorie Kane. Good afternoon. "Attacks. Parents Okay, Great. It's Lou Penrose. You mentioned fiscal discipline. That's something that we hear a lot during campaign season. But then, after the swearing in, and the you know the 1st 100 days far too often, you know the pressures build on and you know, councilmember start voting to support that group in that group in that group, and then everybody wins except the taxpayer. As we're looking at a perhaps Mohr, left of center City Council in San Diego going forward, perhaps how do you hold the line? I mean, you come from the business world, you understand fiscal discipline that that's not left or right. Well, I think the pandemic you know has caused our revenues to decline. So we're going to have a look at what money we have to spend. And how are we going to spend it most effectively. To deliver neighborhood services, and I do want to work with nine council members to set priorities. What's important to them? But unlike the federal government, we do not print money in the basement of City Hall. We have to run a balanced budget. Well, Barbara when you take a look at you know, your approach to creating jobs were we've got an economy that's on the ropes. Right now. We're likely gonna have a fiscal crisis at City Hall because of the declining revenues, particularly in the hotel sector, because no conventions really have come here. What would what would be some of the top things you would do to tryto get the economy going again and deal with some of the fiscal challenges that the city is likely to face. So the industry that's hurting the most is the hospitality industry. There is no convention business right now, and there also is no corporate meeting business, although individual tourism is doing fairly well. So is I've been talking with hotels. They're busy Friday through Monday. Individual tourism business. Apparently, we're one of the only state that is not allowing corporate needed. That's like 50 to 200 people in a meeting and last Friday, I went on a tour of the Hyatt downtown. And they showed me how they can put on a corporate meeting very safely. This is something that has to come from the state level on as mayor, I am goingto advocate vociferously to bring back our corporate meeting business. You know, I've talked to people who are going to corporate meetings in Las Vegas and other places. Even New York City is now doing corporate meeting. But this is something that will get our hospitality industry at least back on its feet more bring more people back to work, increase our hotel tax revenues. Increase restaurant business and that's sort of a very tangible thing. We can do quickly start generating more revenue for the city and do and we can do it in a safe way. I do have a long term vision for the region, which is about bringing tech and biotech job down sounds good paying jobs. They create good sector jobs around them. And it is happening with the Rebar Civilization Important Plaza recent purchase of the Manchester complex by a newsreel estate investment trust. It is going to happen overnight in a way, and this is going to be transformational. And this is the world I lived in for 30 years before I ran for City Council and what I and that's why I think at this moment in time I am the right nay, or to lose a new recovery. All right, Let's talk about recovery. San Diego's inbred Ah, it looks like it's pretty squarely in red. There was some worry about falling backwards so Even if we move up Toe Orange in San Diego, it's still going to be challenging for businesses to conduct business. San Diego has made under Faulkner some some modifications to allow people to, you know, move tables outside for restaurants and things like that. Where is the next step in your mind so that we can survive this winter as it's going to get a little colder, but it's still San Diego. It's gorgeous weather outside. What do you see the next step for so many of these hospitality entities in restaurants. I think the next step is bringing back the corporate meeting. With so I was at the Manchester Grand Hyatt downtown. They said their weekend business is very good. I talked to beach Area hotels on the weekend business. Fighting through Monday's very good But they're very slow in the middle of the week and that's corporate meeting. And so I think bleeding that back is the first step toward.

"To my own Lou Penrose here. One of the things that is lost on this discussion as to why online learning or distance learning is such a failed proposition. Is that nothing could be more damaging to low income and minority students. On Friday, we told you about the digital gap, the digital divide. One in five students in the state of California. One in five lacks access to a computer or Internet to participate in the distance Learning an online programs. One in five But when you take a look at minorities, it's almost 50% of African Americans. Almost 50% of African Americans do not have access to online and digital computers, INTERNET and computers. T do distance learning. In Los Angeles Unified School District Alone, 50,000 black and Latino, middle and high school students did not regularly participate in the virtual classroom platform. That they used during the spring. So this isn't just theoretically, noses, actual kids not getting school. It is amazing to me that we are in the midst of a national discussion about race in this country and yet among the most Racist public policy decisions made ever to send everybody that has a child a home for an education in this school year, knowing that there is a huge, huge, disproportionate impact. Among the Children of color. It's astounding to me, Karl. It really is a sounding. Yep. So you know, you've got that impact. You've got the impact of the economy where kids you know, being at home will have a major hit to Mom and dad. They'll have to juggle MME. Or it may be possible because a lot of businesses businesses are offering and allowing, you know telecommuting. But for some families assistant Lee not a possibility, so it's a strain on them in New York, Of course, the government came along and said the New York City mayor said Well because we are going to probably not have schools this year. We're going to create a government program to provide daycare to Ah families that need it. And I'm thinking to myself. Isn't that what a schools to find as I mean, you guys aren't actually teaching these kids. It's too liberal. The curriculum is too liberal. Daycare, government run day care with what? Probably probably teachers that have time on their hands for like a. I already got a job, you know, teaching, but I'm not teaching disconnecting the paycheck. So why don't I sign up during the day to also do daycare? That'd be so awesome to pay checks from the government. You're laughing now, but it actually is going to happen. Mark Mark my words, Nothing. Nothing prevents people from doing that. But the point being, it's gonna have an impact to the economy, and it's actually gonna have an impact on kids Health. Most kids are going to sit there and say, Oh, cool. I get to stay home. I don't have to go to school. But this announcement today from the California Interscholastic Federation Is going to cause a lot of depression for a lot of kids and a lot of parents as well. Lot of parents live through their kids, various sport sports engagements. The CF California Interscholastic Federation announced that Athletics are going to be postponed. Now when they say postponed right now, July 20th Lou don't can we Can we just simply translate that into truth? And that is we're not doing it in 2021 at all, You know, 2020 2021. That school year is done, of course, right. I mean, it's it's not gonna happen. There's no way you could you could gear up on you know, it's not like just a couple of days loss and then you start right back up again every day. That a child is not in sports every day that a child that is not in the classroom learning it's it's lost its learning loss that will take many, many, many days and weeks to get back on track, Just like any other practice, whether you put down a violin for a year, you're not going to be as good as you were when you left ofthe same thing with any any sporting event or just your brain itself. They say that they were hoping to see fall sports start in December or January 2020 and 2021. So what's affected immediately would be volleyball, football, water polo Cross country. All pushed back to the earliest being December 2020 But most of the sports participated in outdoors their way We're getting haircuts outside, We're jumping through hoops to get everybody's Akio dining room table out. Yeah, well, that's outdoors except water polo. But I'm sure you could figure something out there. There's outdoor pools. I mean, you just figure out where to go, But here's the thing. It is outdoors. It shouldn't have that big of an issue. I do know that there are studies that show that Cove in 19 Khun B. Transmitted when people are breathing heavy, you know? So when you're physically you know, active That can't be a risk. So I'm gonna put that on the table. But you are outdoors and that's been seen is like the best place to be to reduce transmission. And on top of that, you have all these studies showing that kids seem to be to quote that German researcher seemed to be the brakes for the covert 19 pumping the brakes. So I'm not sure that this is a a good decision. Again. If I had to trade off, I'd put kids back in the classroom. But this is a big deal for kids that really you know, they go to school just so that they could do the sports. The sports is the biggest part for them, and for some of her family, some of their parents Now, think about this. If you delay even best case scenario, if you delay these sports volleyball, football, water polo in cross country until December at the earliest. Let's assume magic wand that December we can start up again. These kids also usually play other sports for winter and spring..

"Hundred six hundred cocoa eight hundred six hundred five six four six I called my at Lou Penrose we've got complete coverage of the civil unrest we call it that it's civil unrest which would encompass protests which are lawful and protected under the first amendment as well as violence rioting looting bashing in the heads of innocent civilians which is not protected under the first amendment but we see going on it's frustrating Lou because the left seems to believe at two things number one some of them say that the writing is acceptable because it's the only form of of action yeah that will get people's attention I'm there for a number of times were acceptable I've heard that a number of times it's offensive it's outrageous that even elected officials are saying that but that is being said and so therefore the left needs to own it that's that's a big very big perspective I think you're coming from the left I don't use that as justification for my six year old not and then the other thing we hear is that somehow the police are to blame that because they're down there in riot gear and they have cop cars that they are inciting the violence and that they should not use any restraint whatsoever that tear gas and rubber bullets and any efforts to declare unlawful assembly those are provocations that then you'll violence or some people on the left even basically gloss it over and say yeah it's a few bad apples mainly it's the police that are violent and I'm looking at this Lou what I'm saying what planet are you on where you can actually just edit out what it plainly in video is being shown just for example in the la mesa because it the examples are too numerous around the country but just in our own town what we see we saw a protest relatively peaceful right although violating certain acceptable norms which is shutting down the eight freeway ons on Saturday was not acceptable you can protest but you're not allowed to take over right away all right this is not acceptable because it's not your first amendment right you can be arrested you can be dragged off you'll be forcibly removed that's not an acceptable protest that that that literally is hijacking the property of others the communal property which is called right away but then it went to an all more sinister level they attacked the police station on the mesa well then simultaneously going to stores and ice I watched the two hour video that a citizen journalist posted of the fires of the break ins of the violence and it's clear that those people weren't interested in in in talking about George Floyd they were more interested in in profiting they they would literally just simply a bunch of criminals out there have a good old time and by the way setting fire is it I mean that that that is none of it is okay but that's a step above breaking a window or even spray painting you know bad words on the side of a building did that did you talk about you know an attempt to detect to kill someone I mean people died in fires so we're gonna explore the the next piece of this which is did law enforcement dropped the ball with a too timid I've heard a lot of that from conservatives I think there is merit in some part to that but more importantly is it acceptable for citizens arms citizens to take matters into their own hands by creating what could best be described as citizen militias on the spot with that happened by the way on Sunday here in San Diego we're gonna support explore whether that's appropriate that's all coming up on the my report but first traffic you're always sunny San Diego Honda dealers traffic center a couple of temporary closures to tell you about north and southbound five to the Coronado bridge shut down for that police activity and then sell them by the front street is blocked off westbound ninety four at the five and south of one sixty three to five so because of the demonstrations happening right now northbound etal five at the ninety four a car fire has just been put out there I'm Laurie came because next real time traffic update is at four thirty two all right so you know what the crown of viruses really hit people in the pocketbook pretty hard we have small businesses that are struggling and seen their their revenues.

"All the while Lou Penrose here on newsradio six hundred cocoa and so you got the the anyone who wants to call these folks looters rioters or is the White House did thugs they're gonna be they're gonna be censored apparently you can't call on that but what else do you call people trashing and stealing from stores and lighting fire to buildings that sounds like a right to me it's not a picnic in the park it was interesting as I saw this piece Lou and I sent it over to you it was from refinery twenty nine and I want to read this because when you see this it's just crazy Kerrier says why are protesters being framed as the problem answer white supremacy so every once in a while I dig deep into the psyche of the left leftist and try to figure out like what okay so what are they said they saying about this I haven't seen those little pictures on the internet where there's the address and people are saying what color is the dress is it gold is a blue you know you've seen that I have to give people see it differently this is this is not that okay they're not looking at the protests slash riders and and and you know you're seeing you know gold or blue they're looking at eight eighty eight eighty have a donkey and they're seeing a rocket or space alien and it's it's that it's not like you know there's a difference in perception of color now you literally see a different object in front of you and that's the only thing that comes to mind when I read this but in this in this piece by Brittany day lack credit has it was published yesterday she basically says that calling it protests is the reflection of white supremacy quote it repeats what the police delivered nearly verbatim and uncritically the dominant media itself is a tool of white supremacy the media uses phrases like officer involved shooting wit and will switch to a passive voice when a black man is shot by a white vigilante over a police officer quote shots were fired at I don't see that no I don't I don't see that but the these people do see that I mean they they're looking I mean they're parsing everything to try and prove the narrative that the state be established point is going to be that white people are I think they have a supremacist they have it and you know a superiority complex and all this and then they try and find little almost conspiratorial in their you know in their media to try and find little bits that fill this this story as she goes on to say instead of putting the protests in context of showing how people are fighting back against a system which they have no power by disrupting it in any way they can I'll just point out the officer has been charged with a higher power of course and then did some people think that it is is what is viable quote mainstream media instead tends to focus on the sensationalized images of protesters breaking the social codes breaking social codes they're breaking in my dear they're stealing their lighting things on fire they're trashing places in worse than anything else is this quote she goes on to to say that looting is is is is is is is a is a tough job okay here it is I tourney Preston Mitchum says that quote one day we're going to reconcile that looting doesn't randomly happen is triggered by screaming and not being heard it is triggered by seeing us be killed with no justice we are going to have to reconcile that none of us said it was the answer and rooted in trauma but she goes on to say ready for this white people deploy the idea of looting in a way that implies people of color are greedy and lazy but it is just the opposite looting is a hard one and dangerous act oh my god you know I can't I I I I can see like one of these leaders coming home at night and their girlfriend there hello you know what they're for their fourteenth you know what team girlfriend is sitting there huh what what was your date well well it was a real real tough day at work I literally had to break into four stores and I had the card out six shopping carts worth of TV sets and stereos it was rough man the worst part is this is the kind of you know of academic analysis that's going on in major college campuses right now with respect to sociology that that that that that's a product of of of of so much over analysis and a desire to project your point of view into a societal trend I mean it's just that's that's gobbledygook right there the I. leading looting is hard one no wonder the left doesn't want to punish people in prison they see it as literally something that they should be given accolades for war but it's a reasonable struggles of white wow but you you had seven felony burglaries and you had two gang rapes but made you have really achieved some great things I'd call that a hard won achievements so hard one looting is a crime my dear looting has impacts on everybody in the community it is against the law it is wrong don't sit here and celebrate it and by the way this idea that the way that the media is trying to sensationalize looting and burning them per trade as as weak minorities are lazy minorities that wasn't just minorities looting there were there are there are there were white people black people brown people all kinds of people looting stores and stealing stuff so the looters don't do not represent those who are mortified terrified or otherwise outraged at this senseless killing of this poor man the looters are are taking advantage of the situation looters are are on the other side of justice did not trying to help things it just trying to look out for themselves and take advantage of the fact that the cops aren't available right now because they're in right here so let's break into the target take you know about PC and PS a PS four I mean it's it's absolutely ridiculous she goes on to argue a news media wake up it is your job to help your audience understand why a story about a protest comment which you call a riot comma isn't about the property damage the story is one of pain caused injustice left unsettled civil rights are protected no my dear if you protest your story will be about a protest was held about police brutality I guarantee you this media will give you that if someone on the right protests covert nineteen restrictions I go too far it's not a protest about freedom it's not a protest about economic pain it's not a protest about people who disagree with the public health strategy the wages they describe our protest which is always peaceful and has you know the signs it's a real protest is not looting is not writing it's right wing extremists and the is staged protest leading to increased covert nineteen cases that's how it's ranked right that's always the way it is for him do you have that right I a quick break we'll be back more this on the divide report called the violin New Penrose on newsradio six hundred cocoa but first traffic and they're always sunny San Diego Hyundai dealers traffic center the ride into macula continues to get worse from the seventy six to Winchester forty nine minutes were the traffic.

"Five six four six I called my at Lou Penrose do you think that our elected officials should apologize for getting it wrong should they admit yeah we were a little too aggressive here or are you buying the nonsense that it was us that flattened the curve we stayed home and therefore bad things didn't happen if you're wondering that they are totally moved they moved the goal posts they've they've changed the equations you get Dr Wilma Wooten out there saying we're we we she's she's comfortable she's not comfortable nothing's changed everything's exactly the same the positivity rates have been fairly consistent leads over the last three weeks that we know of and so actually they're down to me we don't live up to five percent four percent three percent today were at two percent now are you resent positivity rate in San Diego county and then we got Baja kinda like the amble around her neck but but but for those of you think that will the reason why it's all happening in the trends are happening is because we've all been locked down and we've been unemployed and it's just it's it's worth it it's worth it okay how do you explain Florida how do you explain Florida the entire state of Florida not just one county but the whole damn state eight weeks ago when Ron DeSantis said he wasn't gonna shut down he was mocked he was attacked by the media and data we you know we they showed the graphs remember the model showing the people were gonna die there was gonna be a crisis nope the latest positivity rate in Florida remember the World Health Organization says ten percent we know we all celebrate one were four percent San Diego today's two percent Florida for the entire state is eight point six two percent not six point two percent my friends point out what not what it says it wants to point six two has anyone sitting there saying well the reason why we see good if this is what will the will just said thirty minutes ago the reason why all these good things are happening is because our lock down work know your lockdown trashed our economy and you're locked on how it was extended way beyond where it should have been which was frankly Easter Easter Sunday April twelfth should have been the lifting slow lifting of lockdown but no we sit here you know six six weeks later with more economic pain and so this is what Rhonda Sanders had to say in response to the media now that his status at point six two and they've been well open with restaurants with patrons and people going back to working good things happening churches filled to the brim here's what Rhonda Sanders had to say to the media today audio one our data is available our data is transparent in fact after birch's talked multiple times about how Florida has the absolute best data so any insinuation otherwise it's just typical partisan narrative trying to be spine and part of the reason is that because you got a lot of people in your profession wax poetically for weeks and weeks about how Florida was going to be just like New York wait two weeks Florida's going to be next just like Italy wait two weeks well hello or eight weeks away from that and it hasn't happened not only do we have a lower death rate will be a way lower desk generally have a lower death rate in the appellate court or DC everyone up there we have a lower rate death rate in the Midwest Illinois Michigan Indiana Ohio but even in our region Louisiana Mississippi Alabama Georgia Florida has the lower death rate and I was the number one landing spot for tens of thousands of people leaving the number one hot zone in the world to come to my state so we've succeeded and I think that people just don't want to recognize it because it challenges their narrative it challenges their assumptions so they got to try to find a boogeyman maybe it's that there are black helicopters circling the department of health if you believe that I got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell yeah.

"Don't want any the dog do on their shoes Carl Tamayo and Lou Penrose here Lou it is so stunningly clear that the politicians have been caught overreacting to this whole thing wagon their finger in our face and we need them to make sure that you follow the saints you're not an expert we get to do this anyone who wants to stay open or reopen they're gonna have blood on their hands that's what they were saying as recently as last week right Lou I mean what we have in the wagon of the fingers and we still have some of the politicians doing it but but basically we were we were being told that we were reckless that we want people to die we were cold hearted we were unscientific rubes suggested just ask questions were costing lives Carlton feel alone not necessarily believing every single thing that we're being told by unelected bureaucrats at the department of health and a really weak politicians and and the absence of leadership now it it's if you can hear it already you could hear them running to the hills because they know when the people learn what happened over the last nine weeks here in San Diego county and throughout California they're going to be hopping mad that will hopefully but who are they going to get the information because the media's doing their level best trying to down play the the science and the data and the facts and the figures that have now come out that basically prove that we over reacted with the lockdown and we're not seeing a locked down for the first fifteen days to flatten the curve was a bad idea that was actually a good idea given the fact we didn't know a lot about covert nineteen it was prudent to over react it was prudent to flatten the curve the way we did but but here's what happened instead of us flattening the curve to give time for our healthcare systems eight tips surgeon prepare and be for our politicians the public health systems to get supplies available downs masks gloves shields etcetera MC to get more data to figure out more about this disease and how it how it interacts and and what its death rate is truly in our their pre existing cases were there a symptomatic cases instead of doing that we went from flattening the curve over fifteen days to get those things done to literally saying we're just going to wait for a vaccination the vaccine and at the end and that there was no way that the American people were gonna accept that they rose up with this is going to go down Lou in the history books once we get past the point where the media shapes the narrative once people actually step back and research this it'll go down as one of the biggest blunders of public policy I in in the history of man I had literally believe one of the biggest blunders of public policy in the history of man I think you're right I mean I do think you're everyone's looking for the paradigm shift right what's gonna be different when this is all over I certainly hope that the belief that government knows all is not knows what's best for you and should be trusted without question and never challenge I hope that's the big paradigm shift because it's clear they don't know what they're doing they don't know how to lead and they have left us fifty three billion dollars in the hole and a lot of businesses never coming back yep if so so for for those of you who are still like well with it but what do you mean we over reacted a couple things today the CDC came out and it shocked the world by letting people know that covert nineteen does not survive on surfaces and there is an infinitesimal amount of risk small risk in in catching over nineteen and in fact the new story that I saw that reported this great news said the days of having to wipe down your groceries are over okay so I thought we were told that this stuff lasted seventy two hours on basic services there were reports that it was bloody lasted seven days on the you know on the on the hand rail of a cruise ship and they had a white down the yeah the gas pump was going to be the place that everybody got sick and I was wondering a week after week after week why are we not seeing you know that checkout stand at the local bonds like why isn't that like a into a Petri dish wise and wise and everybody that touches the you know the cashier's hand that at Costco why are they all getting sick that's one point of contact that everybody's filtering through that yeah you're not allowed to sit on the beach yeah you're not allowed to sit on the beach downside on that stand up no no no it just well it is unbelievable how wrong they were all their models were completely wrong we just heard from Dr Wilma Wooten at the county saying we had someone here three weeks ago presenting their model and I'm like oh are you back with another damn model stick texted your model you were the sun don't shine lady you were you were wrong you were your your your your your approach your hurt millions of people in San Diego county we have three million residents and yes those are you still think the locked out was a good idea you were hurt by it okay even though you don't open your eyes and see it you were hurt by it and so I look at this and it's such negligence instead you know and and if these people came out and said this will be some good news the disease is not as bad the good news lot of people having died the good news of we've learned a whole lot the bad news we kind of overreacted so what we're sorry about that but we felt it was important to do we want to err on the side of caution and so based on the data that we now have we wanted to let you know that and we are now taking the following steps to reopen they don't do that they have been doing it there's that they're saying well the reason why we bet that look the deaths are so low is because we get social distancing in San Diego California in Timbuktu well how do you explain Sweden that didn't do social distancing in the gloom and doom and you know disaster didn't happen there or better yet and I love it how do you how do you explain North Carolina Georgia taxes in Florida that states that were lambasted by the media for having governors that were blood thirsty they didn't care about science did not follow science didn't care as well which you find out what the positivity rate is in the state of Florida and what the governor of Florida has to say in response to the media that slammed him for re opening as early as he did yeah we have that coming up as well as the the the one thing called that the is most painful I think for so many people is the inability to actually practice their faith over the last nine weeks sets United being separated from your family and friends is one thing being separated from the big man upstairs is a whole other issue we'll talk about it next with South Bay unified United Pentecostal church on the call to my own band rose on news radio six vehicle go first traffic and lower case good afternoon guys this report is sponsored by California community colleges there's a crash on southbound sixty seven it's at north magnolia Avenue they just cleared the lanes so traffic is moving through there now eastbound seventy eight emerald we have a mattress reported in lanes and southbound five outlook Costa whatsoever that they're still there in the fast lane the northbound side from the fifty six "At Carlisle at Lou Penrose your take on the vacuous and non specified re opening is standards that have been put out most businesses are still scratching their heads what we do and how do we do it and I'm my view is this use your common sense go out there do what's right for your employees do what's right for your your customers talk to other business owners talk to trade associations yes consult the county but I don't wanna do this and how heavy handed way because you know what thus far they've not been right about their projections and how to do things remember these are the same idiots that told us don't wear masks at the beginning of this an hour saying you shall wear masks or we'll take it you they've been wrong before continue to be wrong going forward because that's the problem that I think so many people have you know they're not using common sense I mean you know what I agree with you use common sense but what book if if we would if if if we use common sense when when we go forward to do things on Friday and that the county power the powers that be decided that we were not using their version of common sense then we're in trouble and they're not with the business owner is always wrong in this in this set up because of the county decides what common sense is even if it isn't common sense like not being able to sit on the beach but being able to walk on the beach it here did you have to break you have to practice social distancing some places in other places is a better car yeah you get a car drive to a golf course but you can't drive you can't set the golf cart I mean yep that's the common sense of the county is offering and I've had so many people you know that we have a lot of people saying you know great Carl and lu you guys are actually spot on but I also have the occasional you know socialist or liberal or status or even sometimes Republican say we release the experts they know both sides and we don't well they haven't been right so far it come back to the example I I read yesterday I I laid out yesterday because Sweden is a case study for us to point to not only do we get to point to the fact that in in the United States their models were wildly off in the death rate looks like it's in in line with the aggressive strain of flu but in in in Sweden they opted not to do draconian lockdowns they did a common sense approach Hey wash your hands try to be more socially distant make sure as a business you clean things up a bit mark cetera and it worked because they have had a a manageable caseload their healthcare system is not become overwhelmed they have been able to keep their economy rolling along more importantly in Sweden they are now building herd immunity meaning it has less chance of spreading as we go forward because once you get it you have the antibodies you won't get it again you won't be but transmitting it to others herd immunity they think is sixty to seventy percent right now they're about last documented by two weeks ago thirty five thirty eight percent well on their way to that that stage but to the point when you say what we have to believe the experts we have to follow their advice they got science the experts said that if Sweden did not shut down by may first their healthcare system would collapse they would be completely inundated with forty thousand deaths well guess what may first about twenty four hundred deaths so again don't sit here and one that is too many you got right here totally agree totally agree but but don't sit here and throw bottles in my face and well experts say when the experts have been so utterly wrong what we know factually has occurred is that people have lost their jobs and that businesses are on the brink of bankruptcy if not shattered and so you you look at this and and and we're not saying we open and and go around high fiving everybody I had kids and everybody what we're saying is reopen treat people as adults that's the notion of American freedom it the constitution are for our civil rights treat people like adults give them the information continue to build capacity in our health care system and we can get through this this approach has failed okay by any measure cost benefit the approach has failed and he would like say we're saving lives I would argue that we wouldn't have as many lives that we're gonna be lost in the first place and secondly we are decimating lives through the economic impacts the mental health impacts that were seen and so now I am not willing to even go down that road and by the way the increased death rate compared with last year that we have seen isn't covered nineteen because this hospitals have a financial reason to cook classify every death as covert nineteen because they get more money these increased deaths I've been I've been theorized by health care experts as deaths occurring because people with other conditions were too afraid to go to the hospital to urgent care to their doctor to get care to manage something that was coming on and instead it got out of control and they died so spare me the you want people to die lecture because you have the data doesn't support that either no it doesn't support and there's one more thing and this I'm gonna put this down this is something that called my own nose and the Penrose nose and a lot of people don't know and it's a little secret just because you're an elected official doesn't mean you're smart so this idea that we need to listen to the elected officials listen to leadership the governor Newsom has does not have a degree in public health get native Fletcher does not have a degree in public health and the public health experts Dr Wilma Wooten she's an unelected person so she has been vetted by the taxpayer or the voter so you know you have to keep things in check just because they're on television doesn't necessarily mean they're smart we don't offer a lot of politicians that are anything but smart you mean Dr Wilma Wooten the same one who drag their feet and we had a bunch of hepatitis a deaths with homeless people two years ago Kevin Pham everything Fletcher same people I mean I mean seriously again I I I I I I'm not gonna sit here and say that we're not appreciative of the work these folks do we are appreciative but they are not infallible and that is not what we're making and we want to see justified fact based evidence based peer reviewed cost benefit analysis ized policy as we go forward because lives and livelihoods are on the line and that's what common sense people do what what what what frankly I'll just say what fools do is they put their head in the sand and they accept whatever the bureaucrats say when evidence continues to pop up to par to pile up that they're wrong they're dead wrong I coming up I we got a big story about senior homes in California and you need to hear about it that's coming up next on the to my report call the mile and lieutenant on newsradio six hundred Kobo first let us check in again with lower case the looming Carl well the border wait is not pleasant but it's not as bad as it was yesterday it's an hour and twenty five minutes at Santa C. drive to cross over time he said fifty minutes in a crash clearing west backdated to one twenty five I'm Laura came because next real time traffic update is at three thirty two okay so last week I checked in with my friends at the Remington club in Rancho Bernardo this is the retirement community that's like living in a resort and they're doing an amazing job over there their residents are happy they're healthy and they've stayed connected with families because the Remington club team has been using technology at the end good old fashioned telephone sometimes to make sure that their residents continued to connect with their families in fact some of the residents say that they feel even more connected on several levels then before with the new programs that they've got going on the remedy club is like living in a resort with the salon and barber shop fitness center the pool restaurant style dining and people love the food game a movie nights and of course happy hours to get to know the neighbors now many of those programs have been redesigned so that they do social distancing in fact I got bingo where everyone goes to their doors and they.
