"You see tuesday matt. have you watch. do you watch the trailer park. Sure did it bother you. Did it bother you like it. Bothered me we always talk about narratives construct of how things are filmed the overhead shot of rhino drawing. A smiley face with cheese was on the sultan. I can't believe i just said that And then they go to the front shot of rhino and there's no camera over his shoulder that drove me nuts you the they filmed it like it was a sitcom but it was portrayed as a journalist with a camera crew visiting somebody documentary style. You know news story style and that took me totally out of it. I thought okay this in my mind. I thought okay. They went back and filmed later in overhead. Shot of rhino. Doing that. there's a better. You can choose a different angle to do it where it seems believable. Wait a before we go back to the front shot a rhino. So you can imagine the camera moving but they totally took me out of it with that with that shot. Did that bug you or did that. Jump out to you. I i thought of you when i saw that. I'm touch well well it it. It was funny because of all the shots That would have been my favorite ones that she was brownie. A the jets that moment in in and of itself. But how it was phil because well you know that. Because i i don't know if you know this it is it is scientifically proven If you're eating a cheeseburger and when you put him catch on if you draw a smiley face on the patty it will taste better that i believe that they proved it with science The if it is always weird For me watching W w we Backstage oregon. This was vignette when they do on chant like when they like when dolls wife when he's wife within the the kitchen and she just kinda you know she's like honey. I picked up a box of whatever like they punch in on her. And you know it's always it is strange because it's it's not the way that they do things because they always do present everything as though it were live. And there's one camera one take and it's always a continuous paik And so when they plug in things like me it it just it it. It's unnatural because it like you said. It violates the the rules that they've established of what is happening and what i'm watching Whereas like something like a you know lou ground. They have established this cinematic. We're not seeing through a cameras. We're seeing through. God's is you know that's that's what that would be So and then as someone who works in tv. When i see things like that all it says to me oh they must have cut you know so they have to cover a cut i. It's maybe not necessarily bat vignette because you know they were punching in their punching in but like especially when i'm watch like a late night show during the monologue If they ever suddenly just cut to the audience laughing or clapping you like oh they cut out the next joe. You know that you can. You can see things like that they would do the authoring promos a lot. I don't. I don't know if i noticed this year. But there are a lot of awkward cuts when they would do because they all their tv one night and it just kind of loosely timed and then go and produce a show. Oh we gotta take out in. That didn't go well or this went long and you know yeah yeah as as as a professional comedian comedian you are the. You're the authority on all things. Funny did you like. Did you like what they did in that skit. Did you laugh more than you grown. Did you only grown only laugh. Did you think that if you were part of that and had great authority would you have done it differently or advised against it or added some stuff like what was your thought watching that. Oh no i love stuff like that. I live for seeing vignettes of wrestlers outside of the ring in their world I love that stuff. it's Yeah of course. He lives in a trailer park. That's perfect you know. See you know this. This kind of kooky heavyset wife. Who's just crazy about him. I think that's great. You know she. She just served cold. Leanings and cheese crackers i mean that's i cannot wait to meet the kids i cannot wait to meet. He's later children Like it you know what it reminded me of which is and it's one of my favorite things of all time. Is you know thirty years ago. We got through his Dr david schultz in his home and his wife and stuff On tuesday night. Titans which. I just love that stuff. I live foreseeing Vignettes so in that respect i i absolutely love it and i laughed. You know throughout the whole thing. I think he 'thus heath is another one of those guys where it's like and thank god that the company's notice it and they're going with it you know because like the whole angle if he's it's probably my favorite line on the show right now The free agent thing you know he's it's it it. It kinda does combined different elements of my favorite stuff From years ago when Randy savage was like the the number one free agent and all the managers were vying for his attention I love that i love. He says the free agent. But he's also you know he's he's like this is loser who keeps you know Stumbling into good fortune teke thing but it but can't help get in his own way. You know like i love the the the part of you know. He beat randy in a match but he was you know by d. cube because radio's beating the crap out of him And then he can't even get his head straight to sign the contract and change okay. Let's forget about this. I mean it's just. I think it's great i can't see a you know. Hopefully him and rhino that can work. It's a great pre even rhino in that Vignette i was like i love this.

"You're seeing. It looks like if it looks like if you put it. Looks like those like four twenty. Meme like a deep fried and deep fried me. Yeah it looks like if took checks quest and put it in a haunted microwave for an hour scout. This looks amazing. Yeah i'm gonna go this. This looks unhinged described as an immersive power fantasy simulator with tactical stealth elements in a sewage infused garbage world. Oh god that's cruelty squad. That looks great. Thank you frankenstein. Activists we got katherine said an airport for aliens. Currently currently run by dogs is one of the funniest and most heartwarming games. I've ever played. This looks great. I even like meaning check out forever. And i have a feeling. This'll be a game. We talk a lot about quite a bit the second half of the year. We also got from the smallest possible e overboard by inca studios. it's a short visual novel style. Murder mystery game but your the murderer and you have to wiggle your way out of it. The game play is losing short runs through an eight hour day with dynamic characters conversations and outcomes. It's super neat. This game is on switch yaw and like. I really need to prioritize this. I have a big road trip coming up. And i'm downloading ahead of it Because ankle for people. Just you're a big inca fan right. hold on i'm clicking. The the to see. I like yeah. I think that they have done some really cool stuff. I've not played all these but like Eighty days i am. The sorcery games are very very cool. But yeah these are sort of like visual novel interactive visual novel more interactive visual usually indicates. I think but yeah this talking on switch. I think right. It's i think it came out on. What because personal computers a little bit ago but yeah. I've never played this. I'm i'm sitting here feeling like a lot of the ways that i used to find out about. Video games have have failed. I don't not hearing about these great games. I'm very frustrated. This is the first time in here. Thank god for y'all. I guess i'm me more with your fantastic game recommendations. Ask the question of what of haiti's was less sexy and edgy with weapon. Dir ability mechanic breath the wild more fun one of those questions that i have pondered before. Sure to these. Hey everybody thank you. These are This is this. I'm i'm finally hitting a point where i can start really putting Time into playing some some honest video games again. And now i feel like i have a big a big delicious platter of Of games dip into very exciting. Now what else have you been playing i got. I got one real quick talked about a monster trained talked about some of those other ones. I wanna highlight rogue book which is from the creator's faira one of the dudes who did Or richard garfield wanted one of those guys that created magic the gathering were turned road book And it is a deck building game. Where boy the big evolution here. In terms of these games there is a deck building game. You have to characters that you're playing and you choose which to you're gonna take out with you at the beginning. Similar to mazar trained in that regard and each character has different decks. That do different stuff. That's when there's more like block focused. There's one that's more like attack focused whatever and you learn how to like use their skills in conjunction with each other and wasted their skills like play off each other The thing that's really interesting about rogue book is normally in these games the path that you go through on a discrete adventure is pretty linear there. Maybe like one or two different paths you can take rogue book is on an hexagonal isometric Map that you use ink to reveal so exploration of the map is also like part of the gameplay mechanics. They're like towers that you can find. That will blow. Open a wide area of the map when you finish regular battles. You'll get a little bit of ink that you can use to create a path over to another area that you see that you'd like to explore but basically in addition to and then like a lot of these times these wide open areas you'll just find like a healing potion or some goal or something like uniformly positive. So you wanna be able to explore as much of the map as you can. Because you're you're Finding things all throughout the map that are increasing your skills so in addition to dislike cards and like getting more cards as a way of like marking progression. It's also enticing you into battles by with his promise of like obstacle to reveal more the map and Become like more able to take on the challenges that lie ahead It's a very very very good. One of those Came out june seventeenth. So it's pretty new rogan's book all one word rogue book. I'll make it brief. Because i feel like i'm hearing myself into just sort of a character. there's a meam in the final fantasy fourteen community and it's like cobby pocket copy pasta of have you played fantasy fourteen the award winning. Mmorpg's with a free trial up through level sixty and the beloved expansion I'm turning into that guy. But i am. I missed a lot of that game. Because i'm a pretty late adopter of it to my favorite foul casey games ever our final fantasy tactics and final fantasy. Twelve both of which are set in like the same world of lease vagrant story. Also takes place in there. I've always really liked that. That stuff and there is a whole like side story. A whole expansion of fancy fourteen set in that is essentially an expansion onto the story of final fantasy tactics like it builds on the actual cannon narrative of of final tactics in a way. That is like so rad. I just finished it up yesterday and That yep it's a good ask game and get a quick playtime check from you griff on fantasy. Fourteen I've been playing it in a little half hour chunks. So it's not as it's not as terrible as you think it would be because i'm not. Here's the thing. I'm not playing it like i remember Probably like Like ten hours. Nothing big probably five or six hours I'm not. I haven't gotten hooked into like the The indie game lou grind shit like i'm just playing story missions and stuff like that which are fairly respectful of your time and yeah having a good time with it. I two c two of my favorite fantasy games that don't get a lot of lip service. becomes playable in this way again is is is say i want you to force us to do an f. f. fourteen episodes maybe justify in walker comes out this this fall wrapping up the the the whole heidel in sort of storyline. I think romance even saying that you saying that once was enough to turn me off the plane this game. Oh no you don't wanna combination of fourteen and there's something of zodiac favorite game for jocks important to admit when you're wrong in. This is me admitting i was wrong. We spent like a couple of episodes talking about zelda games and i was a little bit sour breath the wild because that game really pushed me away at a certain point years ago when the weapon durability stuff guide to be too much in the cooking yada yada yada..
