"Today, but first handle on the news. Late addition, Jennifer Jones Li Mo Kelly is here today. And me and the lead story. We got another hurricane. It's Hurricane Olaf. And his hit Mexico in the resort area of Los Cabos now They came aboard shore as a category two hurricane winds of 100 miles an hour. So far based on what I'm reading, you do have a lot of people who are in shelters, some damage at the hotels in the area. Some people stuck in their cars in high water. But beyond that, some trees fell down. Some power lines fell down. Schools are closed. Ports are closed. You're not going to get a covid 19 vaccination today over there, but in terms of major damage And injuries and deaths. I'm not seeing anything. No, I've I've had a few stories on it this morning and same thing. There are just areas where I know they closed the ports of campus and Lucas in San Jose del Cabo yesterday. They had like tourism operators who had their boats out there. They moved them to safer mornings, but they got enough heads up on this one that they were able to do it. I think before the real damage was done. So they did those preemptive strikes and I think they worked. All right, so that part of it is good news. All right, You've got more than 100, oil soaked birds that have been found near the refinery oil spill after Hurricane Ida. This was in Louisiana, and it was a Phillips 66 Alliance refinery and apparently it also Hurricane Ida flooded some nearby fields and retention ponds along the Mississippi River. And it doesn't look like the levees in the area necessarily broke. But we talked about this that they were overtopped. Which is something that you that that's good. That means the levee withheld. It just was too low for the water that came over. That will be the finger pointing now is why didn't you build last time It was, Why didn't you build them stronger Now? It'll be why don't you build them higher? Right. And will you ever know how high a storm surge is going to be, but they have rescued 10 birds. Apparently, five did die and they were able to clean them rehabilitate them that sort of thing, But they are still trying to save more birds, and they've also seen oil on alligators, nutria and river otters in the area as well. Just in case you were wondering what the FDA was going to do with e cigarettes and also Jewel. Well, you may know that the FDA FDA had banned about 950,000 lesser known e cigarette products. They're delaying their decision on Jewel. Now. Proponents of this measure think that's a step in the right direction, and it probably portends what is going to eventually happen. But I would have the question. Why would they delay their decision on Jewel? When it just seems like it is more of the exact same? It just happens to be a more popular brand. Than what they've already banned. Also, though, Jewel, I think was smart and saw some of the writing on the wall, so one of the differences is Jewel is only asking for permission to sell. I guess. Tobacco flavored Vape and mental These other companies that the FDA already said no to we're trying to sell stuff like banana nut muffin, cinnamon toast, crunch flavored Vapes, and I think it was very easy for the FDA to look at. The advantage to adults from having this Vape product available compared to the risk to the kids from having it So if it's cinnamon toast, crunch flavored Vape. It's pretty easy to go. No. When it's just tobacco flavored and menthol. It might skew the other way, and I think if they say no to jewel there, they probably will only say no to mental I don't think they're going to say no. You can't sell it. Tobacco flavored Vape Because at that point what are you accomplishing? And I don't know what the mental thing is very interesting to me because before Vapes came out, and he started having the Laffy taffy flavored Vapes. I never thought of menthol as a flavor. I thought of mental as a thing They put in there so that smoking is not as harsh supposed to like. Keep some of the The deadly stuff away from me. That's the only way I can describe it. Right, so I don't know how mental carcinogens I mean, we could all agree. Mental is not the same thing as fruit loop flavored Vapes. How come nobody wants to put out a series of apes that have all the flavors but not the nicotine. Because it's just for fun because it's not as addictive. Maybe they call that candy. Oh, good point, and not as edgy kids would be like man. Yeah, that's not as cool. If it's not a drug in there, I would do it. I I mean, I don't nicotine is way too addictive for me to mess around with it. Nicotine is the most addictive drug That exists. It's way more addictive than opiates and coke and meth and all that stuff. Really, What does it feel like? Have you ever had? I've had maybe half a cigarette in my life, and I never got anything out of it. I don't know. I one time pretended to smoke an IV cigarette. Remember Eve cigarettes? I had a little lady on him. No, it was a brand of cigarettes pitched for the ladies called even They literally had a little drawing of a lady on the cigarette. I pretended to smoke one with Steve murderous in the gully. In our neighborhood because I wanted him to think I was cool, but I didn't want to smoke. I didn't want to inhale smoke. That's my experience. I never got it, Jen. My Yeah. My experience was in high school. I remember Sarah Paris. Soto and I went to the river trail and she brought cloves for us to try. Oh, my God. I might have had two puffs and was like I might die that I think that was probably the best thing that she could have done was to bring those Because it was so harsh and so rough that I was like I'll never smoke. Wow. Probably good. Alright, We're all good boys and girls here. Hey, let's get a news update from Jennifer Jones Lee and will continue handle on the news Late edition. "Going play I know we were going to have done evans posi. He's out because of it so i take. Nfl would have been out coming anyway but so over bet like oh bad. Timing know very unlucky. It was a shame because he would have played felix asia. Elliot's see maxell who come in in in replace of andy murray got the victory. Six four seven six so. I don't know what happened that but that was a that was a bit of an that was a bit an upset. The in round one for faa not not not to win. So you know. I i saw that result. Poppy was saying king if buried baby. Dvd to be his best to to do that. But i mean that's just you know that is just matching i. I sat anything. It was probably the right cool in terms of in terms of the competition. Going all the way yes as best of three all the way through to the final no best-of-five anymore in the final but it's still very is still very toughen from what it sounds from the conditions as well they not. They're not conducive to short points. It is it is it. Is he it and it is a very sounds like a very slow core or is effectively. A clay core in disguise is is the sense. I'm getting from a meeting kind of insight from plays in how how is playing at the moment but yes probably the right decision for murray. Yeah i mean. Let's just talk about the women side of things because i think the biggest shock had safer ash party. Losing t- sorcery best tormo in straight sets in the first round. Say you know. Recent wimbledon champion world number one And she's upset by by serie tumor. He's just inside. The top fifty s had a pretty decent decent year obviously thought win- soccer the fed cup loss now but yet balti- was just not the races have four hundreds of so many errors which was pretty really really surprising because yeah we think back to former wimbledon and the movement just gave nothing away really good counterpunching that sort of stuff. We know fash party. But she just got cleaned up by serie. Best tool mo who i think the i feel like maybe a match made in heaven for serie best hormone slow slower call that just enables her to get absolutely every single boo back play and make a fight of it and maybe that's really kind of helped serie best woman. Yash bossy just wasn't able to find her range. And you know i think some of these pays that transition from across to heart is something that some players may be a finding look challenging than others may be bought he kinda off in that situation the you know. It's been a very quick turnaround. Very limited practice completely different continent. And maybe that's what that's what did i party. Yeah i mean. She's still in the doubles with storms on this. All hape is not lost. Fourteen australia into quarters as well. Yeah i mean that's a pretty decent pairing. We know how fantastic. She is as a doubles player. So i feel like she's on for a good chance at a A doubles medal there. But we also had some other top seeds out today Supper lenka is outfield and tech Kovic uva he was the only i think former singles medalists Sort of in the draw from from olympics So yeah they had. They had some upsets. Today there's six the top ten sees left in the drawer now. Pretty good going for the spaniards as well because she beat sheffield tech in straight-sets. Today we'll yesterday. I suppose while recording this and well wave out. She also of c. gabino mcgruther through southern spain of got three players still still left in. Which along with czech republic or the maced czech republic. Still have fun drew. Ever they still got cricket skipper who is also gang very strong and carrying appreciative wimbledon and fineness. Yeah and just talking on spaniards. We had copy mcgrath while he was into round three people. Talk about the fact. That draw on paper was a bit of a horror show because she could have had.

"What bush's rock. What is wrong but yeah funny. You mentioned assume it nagel nicole. I never quite sure have set. I'm he became. Only the third indian to amend singles match at the olympics by beating dennis. Estermann who you know. I have a big dennis fan. So i was bit sad but i was pleased at dennis managed to make it to the olympics. That was that was nice but yeah it's a great win for nicole. First indiaman winner. Olympic singles since leander paes ninety-six india. Absolutely fantastic fantastic chiba again. The olympics does give that platform for these sorts of situations to happen. And it's great to see you know. Players be inspired and achieve victories. That could've put i think. Put tennis on the map in that country. And you know. I think we see not in office. Boards is great to see that. I think with you know nations as massive as india. This is gonna be something live long in the memory firm. Absolutely end Yeah i mean we have an on. The side had too many sort of sensational thrillers. I suppose the most exciting match was dot chile each match against meneses where he it was a bit bizarre. He came well he. He came back from sort of a breakdown. Second-set then in the third set was five. Lavar had eight match points then. Went to a tie-break. He then had to save him matchpoint from minutes met. I can't say his name josiah mundus to wait into law set tie-break so after matchpoints marriage. It is fine legal three that one. That was an incredible batch. The just eds at ever experienced a roller coaster match like on the men's side. A a wild and it just came out no way i would've just thought you'd i manage allege experienced pay. I will know how to handle relatively unknown player a brazilian in singles. But how main three hours. It was ready ready swap walkway and then the other. I mean i guess the one fondue point is came. Let's talk bond murray because he dates you know. He is in the doubles. He had that fantastic win. Which are salisbury against moore. Who and who's ebba but he decided to kind of pull out of the singles. Now i thought was kind of interesting. 'cause now he's oversee Told you can only play one event. And he has decided to go in in on the doubles which i think in a situation other plays may be in. That situation might have done the opposite. And the you know the doubles two to one side. We see that in you know in grindstone's if if players get far enough impact on the want wanna commit to one. It's only the doubles. The gets put the on the shelf. I thought was interesting here. The even though he is double olympic champion in this event. He's decided right. That's the event. I just well. He must be thinking may be the you know he doesn't have. He has a better chance of meddling in the doubles and singles. Yeah i mean. I think he'd be a fool thing andy. Murray could have probably defended his olympic title in singles here I think he's definitely made the right decision. I mean he's got two goals already but if he was to pull out the doubles poor de paul. Joe's you know he wouldn't like his whole build. An endo would have been story right. Yeah exactly. And if i was doing so it was probably well annoyed that been the case. So yeah i think. I'm absolutely roy to pull out the singles. What if you've got all best world class opposed to play with in the doubles. He can kinda help. Carry you if you've got like a new onset of injury so i think that's absolutely right cool. I was just a bit annoyed. That maybe andy had been given that advice day prior to the games perhaps someone else to come in and take in his single spot in advance from from the british team. I oversee cam nori had decided already that he wasn't going play I know we were going to have done evans posi. He's out because of it so i take. Nfl would have been out coming anyway but so over bet like oh bad..

I by about wha what drives him his mental toughness. That sort of stuff. But he's also looking. I think to bring in some more advisable from all these different other different other sports and tennis players. That's an as an opportunity that you get like once every four years yeah. I was surprised because i thought that when they were intake they had to stay in. Rooms of like competing. I thought that there was quite a strict babul by oversee. No because athletes are able to kind of get our about mingo. I guess as long as it's within the the venue ba. It's quite nice when you say kind of disciplines like merge jagan cross discipline chat going on. I'm sure you let me just got to be one of the most famous people there. So i'm sure he's he's quite stall which i'm sure he likes and is enjoying very much but said yeah he hasn't really had any tests on the cords. As of yet. I mean a match coming up Tomorrow i believe which will be stephanos it spice against bronzes. Tefa which is probably the pick of the kind of next row. Macho is wow. This is the second round match hasn't happened yet. Oviously tiffany was the one who knocked sits pass out of wimbledon in the first round. Say he'll be looking to to get some revenge. Not if i i think either of those players would be kind of looking to today quite deep hair because i think it's a real opening if either of them to to kind of make that final against probably joke which i would say someone like hear fo was is home for for short hair is funny because i think poss- although of competition here he's only played one match against kohlschreiber. Came through it in. Three sets never has definitely thou- a bit in terms of his kind of momentum and particularly i think his confidence that has a i would say it's gone shop but i think it definitely took a dip Off to that loss to jackovitch in the french open vinyl. And he's i you know we have also about the in his personal situation with his his grandmother unfortunately passing away as well but it it does feel like it has had a fact on sapan. We've seen that in some of the results. He is hat and the icing on the kate in that respect was that lost to tear face. Oh yeah i think sisu think in this sort of phase of he's going to need to be if he wants to get a medal think he's going to need to rediscover some some form that necessary. I don't think necessarily is that yet. I mean just looking at some of the other kind of contenders is vera is already through to the third round. Not ready not been pushed so far medvedev who you know what was going to have a tough match against Alexander bob lick came through two quite tight sets and then came through against india's and the gal to reach round three so it feels very very much like you know we sort of getting towards the midway point. It's not up. We've not had any sparks. I all right they could. It could be opportunity. I think for a player. The we're not necessarily talking about you know. Maybe it's a monica police. Situation whack could kind of come through because you know you speak about doing a similar sort of monica police situation earlier in the season You know in the hot in australia now. You know we've seen him on clay and grozny and he's done he's done okay but i'm looking at said they'd kagan whether your kids. He could kind of rediscover that full year that he showed i think of the season may be going a bit of run maybe get three to potentially Know novak djokovic in the semifinals but he looks very very good. I saw it gets toby pool around. One yeah i think. Obviously he's playing rock. Russian olympic committee goes to pay of confusion. The very first day of the gave everyone was like whoa..

I've seen more safe in this than at home guests. I guess it rival is very easy. Actually people arriving they will get a. We'd take temperature. We'd we'd take the the oxygen levers We asked him to use a A most covering in in in public areas you can take it off of course in the restaurants in the pool area but while transiting through the hotel we are saying we asked. Our staff is will use in Facemask k. most go rings They in disinfect. The hands before they touch anything if you get handed out. The plates doesn't take their their hands before they have bad. Go with them. So it's it is It is very is spending actually and we get a lot of comments home from our guest coming from from the united states or canada or wherever they come from. This is incredible reduced so much so much more than they seen in indiana other blazes end. It's great so right now. We have a lot of little people coming in for long stays. We have guessed staying for three or four months with us. On insists been thanksgiving christmas new year's new year's With us and as he gets great getaway before you get delay lockdown way they come to gobble and joy safety of well. Well i'm impressed. You know i. I have spoken with so many general managers around the world and i am. You know there are some that are doing more than others but clearly. You're doing a fabulous job and are there restrictions currently as it relates to americans flying in i mean. How is the air service in terms of number of flights availability. That kind of thing and Is there anything that americans need to deal with In order to visit mexico because for instance will right now. Ireland is on complete lockdown and the people who live in ireland in the republic of ireland are not permitted to go more than five years from there where they were their residences. And i just spoke with somebody today. Who told me she had to go from the western part of ireland dublin. Airport to pick up somebody. And that's a good three three and a half hour drive for her and she was stopped by police three times and the the reason. It's easy for the police in ireland. Your license plate has a letter. The first two numbers are the year your of your car. So if the car is says seventeen d- it means as a two thousand seventeen car and you live in dublin. It's registered in dublin So if you know what the letters are then you know exactly where the people are from. So if you're in another county chances are good. You're more than five kilometers from home unless you live right at the border of the next county and she was stopped three times. And you know if you don't have an essential reason you get a ticket and an argument and his speech from the local garda the police but is it easy to travel to mexico. Right now Mexico right it is. It is very easy. Actually what what is going on. You can travel into mexico without any providence for come coming from anywhere We do have saying we do have a at the airport. We have regular checks temperature taking an and making sure that everybody's heads the as possible but the annot travel restrictions coming in or going out of mexico. Okay with my love. Easier air connectivity. To cover is actually picking up. We get him instead of less. Flights were getting more flights And this is. This is one what we have to understand. What cow abbas. It's it's it's a completely different issue. Nation did most often beverly often most of the destinations in mexico. Cowboys illusory destination their resorts and not stick. One next to the alert allow a lot of space. So if you wanna walk beats from From from our resort right. Now you would walk at least fifteen minutes have you. Have you have to do a very well. Good beach walk until you reach. The next property is restricted. So there's no nightlife going on predicts that close but now for for safety reasons restaurants. The restaurants i've working at forty percent capacity capacity. Justice may in our resort is where we have. Of course we have social distancing going on on a on restaurants and everything. But i ain't gonna take a break. We have to take a quick break. And we're gonna come right back because i wanted to specifically for five minutes about the your property itself so.

We divided in basically three areas. One is staff What are we doing for our A sobers provides us and how we keep them safe and be sure that our service providers all our staff into halted tasty and we don't get any condemnation through them and then we have stay. We have the pot with our guests. How how we receive in and wake our guests and then the the the daily maintenance what is going on so me go Resorts rules staff staff. I stuff we have our own transportations o- it stats already. Wisit transportation making up our overweight as in made in india in the neighborhoods. Where with they live in they will be checked before. Bv all they enter any ends any transportation's we take the temperatures Checks a staff. This stuff yesterday goes before they enter the bus. Say they get temperatures. Staying the is we measure the oxygen levels They arrive at the wholesale in the hotel. They must Change clothes then they gonna go with this fake depiction progress a before. They went in count into the local area camels local area we have a medic checking them for any signs and we can do so. Yeah imagine they what what what a lot of people are saying you. You might not have a temperature. You might see it okay. But someday one of the most common science or with nineteen s in most So we have a little bagel garlic or kofi changes at once in a while and they have to spend what is going on. If you don't have you don't smell anything than we have. Then they go into parenting right away. Some south the second so you put something in a bag. So the employees had a nice place to be and when I learned that on Saturday, he and the executive team would be down in this. "There are people like me and there's a fellow lives not far from where I live name William Shirley. Who from what I understand is a descendant of the William Shirley and seventeen forty one who was the governor of Massachusetts appointed by King George. and. He splits his time running back and forth between. Ireland. And Berkshire County and I met him once in a place that used to be called Matt Riley's pub. In lanesborough Massachusetts. We miss you Matt Riley's. And I asked him does he spend six months of the year here and six months of the year in Ireland? He's No. I come back here and I stay as long as I can take it, and then when I needed dose of Ireland, I go home. So every couple of months he would bounce back and forth. Between Ireland, and Berkshire County, which is basically what I've done for the last twenty years. And I understand that because. There is something more that you need to tank up. With fuel. Unlike a vehicle, you can pull into the gasoline or petrol station and just tank up and drive out. You need to replenish your spirit and remind yourself of. Why are you here? Anyway. What you'd be doing, what do you need to be accomplishing? What do you need to be? Fulfilling your life with. and. I find being in Ireland a completely rejuvenating experience. Because other goofiest craziest days, they are the same as people line now. And the most generous. Warm Caring Compassionate. Filled with humanity. Or Shakespeare would have said the milk of human kindness is in abundance. And daily I have experiences more lately on the telephone, but on occasion in person. where I look at somebody and say if I were in Ireland, the person answering me or responding to me would not have said what you just said. It just comes naturally to be kind. And people react to that. So often I hear people say well, you know. I don't even go someplace because the people are Nice. Did. You ever go someplace with people weren't nice that you want to go back. I've been to places hotel was great. The food was great. The place was gorgeous. The people were miserable. They were doing you a favor answering a question or serving you. In a resort no less. It's like you'll never get me back here again. So. There's only one region. In all of Ireland. That I have not explored. Except, for a few hours on one of the Aaron Islands. And I was lucky enough to be with my feet on the ground on that island. And In A. Donkey. Mule pulled, cart? That had. Seating. Like. Van In the back. Open Air. That took US around this rocky. Islands. But it's not it's it's a museum island. It's not a place people live. And so you can go and you can see the island and we did that with Doolan Ferrie F. E. R. R. Y. Do not accept the substitute. Doolan Ferrie. Dot Com. and. But there are other Aaron Islands, and at least one of them is popular with a few little INS or B and B's or whatever on it we've never managed to get there yet. It's the one thing I haven't spent enough time exploring. So. In the last hour if you missed it, you can go to s Abrahams Dot net and Click on the podcast for today's show. And you can hear the last hour that you missed with the founder and CEO of Dueling Ferry. Bill O'Brien. A descendant of the o'briens of County Clare. And so I asked bill if he would stay over because I really need to know more about how you can visit the the Aaron islands by ferry because there is a little plane and I'm talking literally people. It's like the plane's flight UNTUCKIT and. Whatever. Those little areas, Martha's vineyard kind of areas. Little tiny planes I. You don't get those little tiny planes I don't do those. Plane Scott have at least eighteen seats for me. Even then I prefer plane that's not under. Thirty nine seats. Then I'll get on. But you can get to the Aaron islands by boat. And so I'd like to hear more about that too. Because just maybe that's GONNA be my first Goto to place when this corona. Curtain rises. And my corona voyaging is over. And we can start real travel again and go and visit the Aaron Islands as my first goats who place on my list of where I'm going when we can start traveling again outside of the US in the meantime think stay in play USA and start planning your trip abroad. So we're GONNA talk with Bill O'Brien from Doolan Ferrie, and you can check them out at s Abrahams Dot net as well. With a new divided federal government is there any chance that Americans can expect effective health care legislation?

Now at KCRW dot com slash join. This is Dr Michael Wilks with a second opinion will at least we have a divided federal government now, and it will help a bit. But what policies can actually be enacted isn't clear still exit polls from earlier in the week suggests that health care was at the top of many voters minds as they cast their ballots. The vast majority of Americans want to prevent insurance from discriminate against people based on their medical history. And they want a Ford. Dible high quality health insurance in places like California, the new governor promised to push for single payer health care or was it Medicare for all these two concepts are thrown around. But their meanings aren't always crystal clear Medicare is a federal program primarily for those over sixty five technically Medicare is a single payer system where one federal agency organizers healthcare financing, but healthcare delivery is done through the private sector in a Medicare for all system. All US citizens would be covered for all medically necessary services. This includes doctors hospitals, preventive care, long term care, mental health, reproductive, health care, dental vision, prescription drugs and even medical supply costs since it was an acted in the nineteen sixties Medicare has kept millions of older Americans alive and out of bankruptcy. But still the costs are significant for both individuals, and the government and increasing federal government spending at a time when our federal deficit is skyrocketing is highly unlikely given our administration's priorities walls, not people the deficit is skyrocketing. Both as a result of the recently passed tax cuts and having a president who knows no limits to military spending, which may be necessary given his tendencies toward bellicosity a Medicare for all policy would eliminate or greatly reduce the role for private health insurance. Now, private health insurance is a profit industry and out of every dollar spent on healthcare twenty three cents goes to prophet in administration, leaving only seventy seven cents available for direct healthcare. In contrast. Medicare government program has no. No stockholders and no hugely paid CEO's. It spends only a fraction nine cents on overhead and in administration leaving ninety one cents to be spent on direct healthcare that is a huge difference. There is no question we need radical change not only in how we pay for healthcare. But in how we deliver it who delivers it and how much they get paid. But divided government will keep any of that from happening will be lucky if congress and the president can even agree on lowering drug prices, but I predict as this debate heats up drug companies will exert their enormous political clout and will end up seeing only teeny weeny changes. I am not optimistic that the next two years will bring any significant changes in anything government related least of all health care. This is Dr Michael Wilks with a sec. I'm Kim masters, and this is the Hollywood breakdown joining me as Matt Bellamy of the Hollywood reporter and Matt this week as you know, I'm in Lisbon Portugal this week and starting November. I actually the dish network no longer is carrying HBO. And this is the. First time that this has happened with HBO at anyone that carries HBO that they're at these fights are quite commonplace. Among the broadcast networks or cable networks, they want more money from places that carrot that distribute their content for the privilege of of carrying their content. But this is the first time that HBO has been in a fight that got to this level and significantly the first time that this kind of fight has come to this point since AT and T acquired the Time Warner assets, which includes HBO, and this is a sort of thing that you know, when you look at a big acquisition AT and T buying Time Warner with Warner Brothers and HBO this that and the other an HBO was the crown jewel there. Of course, was a fear that you know, they would strangle the competition or crush the people who have to do business with them. And I guess an argument could be made here. They're doing it. Yeah. I mean dish network competes with direct TV in the satellite business. Direct TV is owned by eighteen. Tea, and now AT and T has this asset HBO that lo and behold, it has been yanked off of dish, which conceivably could make people switch from dish to direct TV. Now, I think it's a little bit more complicated than that in. What you saw from Richard player the of HBO he put out a statement today. Saying no dish took this off dish HBO was ready to do a deal and dish essentially balked and caused them to go dark and the economics. Here are interesting because dish is a lower cost provider. Their whole marketing campaign is we cost less than the big boys like direct TV. So it is possible that they tried to extract some kind of a price concession and HBO emboldened by this new AT and T relationships said, no, you gotta you gotta pay up, but even the specter of AT and T. Acting improperly may impact this appeal which is going on right now. The Justice department is asking a pellet panel to revisit this merger. And the fact that this carriage dispute is going on is probably not good for eighteen in that merger appeal. I mean, it's not technically legal issue. That was addressed when the Justice department tried to block AT and T from buying Time Warner this was not the basis of the argument, they made maybe it should have been. But but notwithstanding the fact that that is not what is at issue that the superior court panel is reviewing it would still get into the heads of someone who reads a business page of a newspaper. A look what's happening AT and T is being a big bad owner of this property. There is a general skepticism. I think towards these companies, and we all kind of assume they're doing the worst thing they could possibly do for the market in their customers that they could get away with. But you know, there are two sides to this and dish has. Long history of getting into carriage fights with various channel companies networks, they are cheap and they're famously cheap. Charlie Ergen who runs dish has been a very controversial si yo, and he's not afraid to pull content. He pulled the Univision channel from dish. When they couldn't reach a deal, and that still is not on the dish network. So there's a lot of players here. That's Mandela knee aditorial director of the Hollywood reporter. He joins me this Monday at two o'clock on the business. I'm Kim masters, and this is the Hollywood breakdown this podcast was made by public radio station.
