"Los Angeles Superior Court judge denied a motion to remove Britney Spears father from his role as conservator of his daughter, $60 million Estate and, of course, This decision comes after her testimony last week where she spoke on record speaking in court condemning those who with power over her. Let's go ahead to one of that those sound bites. So, basically this conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good. Um, I won't. I deserve to have a life. I've worked my whole life. I deserve to have a 2 to 3 year break and just, you know, do what I want to do. Um, but I do feel like, um There is a crutch here and I feel like, um I feel open and I'm okay to talk to you today about it, but I I wish I could stay with you on the phone forever. Because when I get off the phone with you all of a sudden, all of I hear I hear all these knows No, no, no. And then all of a sudden I get I feel gained up on and I feel bullied and I feel left out and alone and I'm tired of feeling alone. I deserve to have the same rights as anybody does by having a child, a family. Any of those things and more So, um, and that's all I wanted to say to you and thank you so much for letting me speak to you today. So in her testimony, Cam, she spoke about being forced to perform live shows. She said that she is compelled to use a birth control device to prevent her from having Children. She said that she has made to take the drug, lithium and other medications against her will and saying that she is prevented from getting married or having another child. So these are very concerning allegations that she has made yet a judge has decided that this conservatorship must stay intact. What do you make of this? Yes, This is interesting. And so from what I understand the judge's ruling yesterday was not directly related to the hearing that was held last week. This was actually a motion. That have been filed several months ago. So I suppose it's still possible that you know the judge who it was in charge of that hearing last week. Um, you know, could come back and say Okay, Yes, it's time for this conservatorship to end or at least four. Jamie Spears to be replaced as the conservative with this this Bessemer trust, which is what Britney Spears has been asking for. But I mean, you know, you hear Britney Spears talk about Basically being forced to, you know, be a puppet I and you know when she is told to perform, she performs If she doesn't want to, It doesn't matter. She can't live the life that she wants to live. I I feel bad for Britney Spears. Honestly, I mean, I don't know all of the details. I don't know if this conservatorship needs to remain in place. But clearly this is a woman who is incredibly frustrated in fields. Imprisoned by these, you know, rules that have been placed on her. And in reading about this case, even more have learned a lot about her conservatorship is this has all happened. Her father does control her money and business dealings. But the court had appointed a A professional. Her name is Jodi Montgomery, who has had power over her personal decision. Britney Spears personal decisions. Since her father relinquished that role. So there has been a court appointed professional to help her with personal decisions, And that just seems odd to me. And and here's What I want to know when it comes from a judicial standpoint, What are the terms of whether or not somebody can be forced into a conservatorship? Conservatorship? How what? What does somebody have to be like In order for the court to step in, In my opinion, that's somebody on life support. I think people should have the freedom to be able to spend the money the way they want to be able to work to have Children not have Children. At what limit are we allowing the judicial system to come in and say that we're not allowed to make her own decisions? Yeah, You know, it's interesting. I mean, obviously, the V A has a system where produce series could be appointed to handle the veterans, Financial affairs, Social Security disability as the same thing, But generally in those cases, you're talking about individuals who who again have some sort of disability right there, unable to manage their own functions. And here is a woman who is performing in Las Vegas. She is, you know, still in the public eye, and I think that's what has a lot of people confuse. So you're saying that she's she's okay to to earn money. She's okay to make money, but she can't make the decision. How she wants to spend her money or the decision to have another child as she talked about. That's what I think leaves a lot of folks scratching their heads. How can somebody who appears to be so functional? According to the courts be unable to handle her own affairs. She was working up until covid she was doing. She may have stopped it shortly before Covid actually saw her in Vegas a few years ago. I saw her show and obviously it is physically demanding and difficult. I don't think she's really singing, but she's dancing and she is performing, but she is seen in these these court hearings. That she is being forced to perform that they're forcing her to make money Now is that true or not, that is her her perspective on it. Maybe there's other information that we don't know. So it's not that they're trying to push her to not work that they're saying she's not capable for whatever reason, she's actually saying she's being forced to make money. Yeah. So that does beg the question. Can she under the terms of this conservatorship say no, because she has said that she does not want to perform again until she's been released from this conservatorship. So can she be compelled To go on tour or to do shows under the terms of you know this current agreement, and she's had a lot of public support. Even Christina Aguilera, who was one of her Competitors When they were coming up in their musical careers. She tweeted out that she's been thinking about Britney and everything. She's going through interested. It's unacceptable that any woman or human wanting to be in control of their own destiny might not be allowed to live life as they wish..
