The Media Is Positively Complicit in Biden's Disaster of a Presidency
"Maddening is a hell crazed. Do you become when you see how complicit the media is in giving this president today a pass on a daily basis not holding this administration accountable for practically anything after the four years we had to endure of these hyenas and jackals going after the trump administration and everybody in it day in and day after. how how. how hard is that for you personally to witness this ben. Oh my goodness mike. I mean you talk about a contrast over the last four years to what joe biden faces every day. I mean you're right when when we were there in the white house. If president trump so much took less than five questions before leaving the room. This shouts from the press would almost be deafening. You wouldn't be able to even hear what was going on. Because they would continually asking questions claimed that he was ruining or tarnishing the first amendment or or getting rid of press freedom whereas joe biden can't barely be bothered to leave his beach vacation in rehoboth delaware to answer questions for the failures of his administration. it's total projection on the part of the press on the part of democrats. And i think it's so funny. Oftentimes what you see with the left in washington. Dc you know how certain people when they get defensive. They project their failures onto people they oppose. No no one has been more guilty of that than the democrat party with press freedom. I mean you think about for years. For four years mike they consistently accused donald trump of harming freedom of the press of damaging the first amendment of not respecting the rights oppress oliver the country. Donald trump was out there every single day during the cova crisis during whatever crisis was going on facing the press taking questions from them answering whatever they wanted to hear and the american people knew exactly where their president stood at all times and with joe biden. That's not the case you're you're right. It's absolutely banning the double standard but frankly democrats in washington would have no standards that they didn't have double
Psaki Slammed Over Reasoning for Why Migrants Don't Need Vaccine Proof but Travelers Do
"Beach. That's where biden spent the weekend riding around on his bike refusing to answer questions. I'll bet he's refusing to answer questions. He's got a press secretary who evidently thanks to these thousands of illegals who are camped. Out under the bridge in del. Rio texas are just here to like vacation. They don't want to stay here. Did you hear this exchange with the circle. Back pataki and a peter doocy all this is this is a doozy from ducie and check it out. What's going on the border. It's somebody asking the foreign nationals. Who are locked in del. Rio texas and setting out on this side of the border for proof of vaccination for a native kuban test. Well first of all. I can re re re address for you or re re tuck you through what steps we take you for people who fly into the country so if somebody walks into the country right across the river somebody asked them to see their vaccination. Well let me explain to you again. Peter howard process works as individuals as individuals come across the border and they are both assessed for whether they have a any symptoms if they have symptoms they are the intention is for them to be quarantined. That is our process. They're not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time. I don't think it's the same thing it's not the same thing. These are individuals as we've noted and has been discussed we're expelling individuals based on title forty two specifically because of covet because we want to prevent a scenario where large numbers of people are gathering posing a threat to the community and also to the migrants themselves so those are the policies that we put in place in large part because again the cdc continues to recommend title forty to be in place given face global pandemic. I mean are you kidding as individuals. They're not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time. I don't think it's the same thing. What does she think these illegals from haiti wanna do go to disneyworld and then go back to haiti the circle back think they just want to go visit times square. Check out the statue liberty and then go home. I don't think they're intending to stay there. They are not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time. Aren't they intending to move here. She keen asylum. Wow

I tell my kids that all the time in the math batteries here and because there are so many democrats in the state. They're you know basically to democrats for every republican The math was going to be hard for the republicans who were back in this recall and it was impossible as it turns out As we saw the election returns come in into the evening tuesday. The the numbers largely were kind of two to one against the recall. It's going to fluctuate some in the final numbers. We won't get for a few days as they finished opening the ballots that arrive in the mail. But i mean a two to one is is a pretty handy victory and it's a pretty solid repudiation of this recall effort

Former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell: Conservatives Have Already Won in California
"Key phrase is widespread election fraud. How many what was it. A few thousand in arizona than biden won a few thousand a few thousand there. He doesn't take a lot. It doesn't when you've got millions and millions of ballots going through the mail because of co vid. It doesn't take a lot common sense. Americans know this but the left attempts to wear us down axiom with it's ridiculous assertion there is to be clear. There's no evidence of widespread election fraud in california. How would you possibly know that now. On election they publish that before election day. Here was rick grenell last night on fox news. A cut number ten. He's a californian urging republicans to get out and vote and shane in many ways. We've already one look one thing. That's clear is that gavin. Newsom is scared. He's got joe biden here today in long beach campaigning. They are paying people with stimulus. Checks he is calling this the republican recall. He's doing everything he can because they are scared. I think no matter what happens over the next couple of days sean. We've already one we conservatives week we republicans in california. We've already one. We are putting to the vote of the people whether or not the governor is qualified and there is a healthy debate and we know that we have really terrible. Voter rolls here in california. It's gonna take us a couple of elections if we don't do an immediate turn around here with the recall i'm encouraged. I think we're already winning. I hope that every single person who's got a ballot in the mail will fill it out and vote to recall revenue
Florida Appeals Court Rules in Favor of DeSantis' Mask Mandate Ban
"You put je mask on you. Pick jim ask off. You put your mask back and forth. Shake it all about yet. An appeals court ruled friday. Keep governor to santa's parental mask option. Not his mask mandate or his right band. Not it's not a mask ban. It's a parental option in place. Which means that they can now withhold the salaries of school board members and districts that are requiring face coverings for all students. I would assume at eight o'clock this morning. All of these schools will be served in person with papers find at least thirteen school districts including florida's large sixth-largest. That's palm beach broward. He doesn't he doesn't waste any time. And he's not the kinda guy who just makes some sort of veiled political threat you will follow through. He went to harvard. Su he was a jag attorney and he knows the law and he knows the laws. He wouldn't do this if he didn't think the law was not behind him. Yeah you're right right the double negative all right well and it's the whole cabinet the legislature behind him to they're not messing around with this thing and i'm telling you where's the backlash from parents. I'm sure it's there. It's just we're not hearing from them. Who are so mad at their school board for playing chicken with the school board funding. Yeah it's irresponsible the other thing is that vaccines for twelve year olds. No you cannot do it. Because they don't know what the dosing is right the approval though no it doesn't even have approval they don't know how to dose it but in yet the l. which which is la unified school district. Which one bigger one they just have mandated a vacs requirement for kids. You can't you can't scare. I know exactly what you're saying. So i don't understand the decision. How can you even do that science. Isn't there you can't give a kid the regular amount that you would get no and they don't know how much that is. So my gosh very scary common i i figure it out but i know i got a feeling that are going to figure out quicker the not you
A Look Around Good Vibrations - The Antique Vibrator Museum
"The good vibrations antique vibrator museum is about the size of a living room. And in glass cases around the walls arranged in chronological order are about one hundred vibrators dating all the way back from the late. Eighteen hundreds up to the early nineteen seventies and some of them are these beautiful lustrous jewel toned pieces of plastic others not so much they were super steam punk looking in the early twentieth century in and before they were definitely little machines. This is our tour guide carol. Queen carroll is the museum's curator has a phd in sexology and has worked at good vibrations for decades for a first stop on the tour. Carol wanted to introduce us to one of the oldest vibrators in the museum's collection. It's called the v. d. vibrio tori massager. And whether it was supposed to make you think of venereal disease. I don't actually know that's lost in the midst of time at least as far as my information. Sources are concerned the v. is old school. No batteries no electricity. It's got a hand crank. It kind of looks like an egg beater. If i'm honest and the museum has an old photo of a doctor holding a similar vibrator using one hand to operate the crank and the other depress the applicator end of it against a standing woman's back. Yes her back. In the late eighteen hundreds most people would have come into contact with vibrators in the context of a doctor's office in the vibrators early days it was seen as this kind of cure all for all kinds of medical problems and it was used at first in the doctor's office and then later in the home there is an nineteen teens book that was published by the hamilton dietsch company. Yes the same company that makes the blender that we make our margaritas on friday night which made vibrators and was one of the major vibrator manufacturers. There were many but they're one of the major ones in the nineteen so hamilton beach made a vibe and they published a book called health and how to get it
Beached Rat Carcasses Indicate Mass Rodent Death During Ida
"Gotha missed today. The headline says beached rat carcasses indicate mass rodent death during ida experts. Say they were talking about the number of beach of of rat carcasses that have been found along the beaches of new york city since that storm came through. And here's what bobby corn corrigan. A longtime pest control expert and former rhode intelligence for the new york city department of health. Set with this with this particular storm. Any rats that were in the sewers were either crushed by the current or swept out into the rivers now rat populations in new york city number typically in the millions right so i tweeted out this story today and then i got a bunch of responses along these lines which is peace from the cdc from a number of years ago that says rats can swim or wade in the water for up to three days without drowning. They like to swim a very good at it. Iraq survived being flushed down the toilet and might even get back into the same building by swimming back the same way
Labor Day Could Exacerbate COVID Surge With Millions Still Unvaccinated, Experts Warn
"And on this labor day health officials are concerned that the millions of americans travelling and gathering in crowds to mark the unofficial of summer could cause another kovic search. Just as a new school year begins more on that now from guatemala negus tonight. Millions of americans are flocking to vacation hot spots this holiday weekend. Despite a cdc warning the unvaccinated should stay close to home. People aren't vaccinated. They travel the tsa reporting five point. Three million passengers crossing airport security since friday. More than double the number seen at this point during labor day weekend last year. I'm going to disneyworld. Cova numbers in florida scare me. But i'm vaccinated many making their way to stadiums music festivals and beaches across the country yet. The spread of the virus rages on the number of reported cases reaching forty million in the us. Now health experts fear. The holiday weekend could be another super spreader. Justice kids are returning to the classroom. He should especially be cautious about travel if you have children in school or starting school soon because most cases and transmission are likely to happen during travel and those could be cases you carry into the classroom with covert already forcing at least fourteen hundred in-person school closures. Since the beginning of this school year recent data from the american academy of pediatrics indicates more than one in five new cases are in children.

Tulum, Mexico - New Home for the Digital Nomad?
"Won't places. I always loved the travel mexico. Amazing food amazing. People like so many fun things to do and so today. We're talking about a city. That from what i've heard it's primarily like a playground for the rich and famous. It's called to mexico. I've i've always wanted to learn about it and so it's awesome to be able to have you on the show. No i'm really excited about two may be the other side it to learn that you haven't heard as much about okay right on. So what's your connection to the city so during the whole time. I figured out that. I wanted to go and and move in and try somewhere different worker motley so we looked at places that we were able to really dive deeper into experience the culture but also. I'm a big nature guy and we want to be able to go to the beaches and go to snow taes and get out to the forest and stuff and and to really fit the bill for all of that. It has really everything you would want when you go to place vacation but also if you're looking to go longer term consistently have things to do day in day out and so like when you're working remotely obviously you know. I have a lot of friends. That are like kinda digital nomads. And everything else like that was the there are strong internet connection for you throughout your time while you're there or was it like setup for you'd be able to do that remote work i mean it's incredible out there to be completely honest. It's it's built for people that really want to go out there and actually start building a life out there. There's condos constantly popping up but for the most part restaurants on the beach cafes on the beach and then we had an airbnb that we were able to really improve the internet at and they're really focused on that stuff. You look at airbnb. You look at hotels. A lot of them will will actually include what their internet speed is to make. Sure that you're able to work remotely from there. It's definitely big priority for them. That's also even like when i travel. I'm always like working whether it's on the podcast on my blog or whatever so I love having that high speed internet. No it's crazy. Honestly like i had a lot of friends that would go down to beach clubs for the day and they sit there pay thirty bucks for a beach chair with food and drinks and they work from there the entire day. And it's a really cheap way to be able to get the internet. You need if you're going for a week and you just wanna be able to experience the culture and experience the environment while you're out there as well

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Review
"All right so Galaxies z fold. Three it is University forgotten like all the stuff about eighteen hundred dollars rate. Eighteen hundred dollars for this bad boy. Seventeen seventeen ninety nine. Okay so seventy-nine for this bad boy All the specs. I don't think we're missing anything in here. They added water resistance. The front display is under twenty hertz. Now by the way the the front display on this thing for some reason to me just look smoother than any display of ever used in my life like the inside. One is one hundred twenty and it looks great but the cover display on this thing just seems stupid smooth i i don't i don't know what it is about. There's something about the way it looks to my. So we got one hundred twenty hertz. Everywhere we got water resistance. We gots after eight eighty eight. We ought to fifty six gigs storage. On the base model. We got triple cameras. We got one. Ui three to one zero one. The latest there. Although that's role others you get the side fingerprint reader I believe it's supposed to be lighter than last year's fold too. But i can tell you if it is still heavy. Clunky ass phone you know there's What is there to say. As far as like those improvements again the the cover displays one of those things we wanted last year the water resistance gives you a little more comfort there and just setting it down places although there's no dust resistant so definitely still. Don't take it to the beach or whatever. I can't imagine people taking a foldable to the beach way but definitely still though do that or drop it in a sandbox. Whatever but there's some water resistance

California Governor Candidate Larry Elder's Message to Voters
"Larry Elder. Um, what is the message that you want to say to the people listening all over California? Obviously you've gone through the issues and so forth. But That they must turn out. They must turn out in large numbers. They can't leave it to other people to do the heavy lifting for them, right. Well, that's exactly right. Mark, you know. Are you happy? Forget about Larry Elder. Are you happy that this state is running out of water? Israel is a desert country mark. We've got a little body of water next to them called the Mediterranean. They've been able to figure it out would be solid nation plants. We have a little body of water next to what's called the Pacific Ocean. And we can't figure this out. Are you happy with how severe these forest fires are? Are you happy that $30 billion was stolen from the employment Development Department money that was supposed to be for the unemployment for Californians money that was stolen, but people in prison filing for unemployment benefits and getting them people, criminals in Nigeria, filing for unemployment benefits and getting them $30 billion stolen. Are you happy with all of that? If you're not go to elect elder dot com And throw something in the tip jar because my opponent Mark can raise and spend an unlimited amount of money. And he's doing just that. From the usual suspects. The teachers union, the public sector unions, Hollywood big terror, So throw something in the tip jar. Make this a bit of a fair fight. If you're not happy with what's going on in California, which is why people are leaving the state taking their jobs with them.

You 500 other people last week s so I had to send it to me, I said Dane did. Did you get a B? J and you go? No. Another one of those emails? Goodness, but in your case you if you like Mr level Yeah. Yeah, that sounds good, Mr Level pretty In the car business. Most people have concerns. Little friction before they get to know people. And you kind of like disarming Just because you're so level. Yeah, I'm not a aggressive I'm not pushy, You know, I'm We need to talk to you about that, By the way, have you? You know it's it's important to me that everybody That I talked to or deal with knows that But I'm You know if if they're not happy Nobody's happy, so it's important that they're taking care of. That's important to me. Yeah, and say I'm staying married. You jumped in there real quick with that. Is Michelle listening today? No doubt it but if you are, I love you, honey. Okay, so 150, World leaders and corporate executive signed an open letter. To Joe Biden this week on climate change. Okay, including Jeff Bezos with Amazon sales for CEO Mark Bennet, Bennet off and Bill Ford of the Ford Motor Company. Unopened letter pledging their support. For the administration's goals to combat climate change. Now again, I don't want to be my normal cynic about that. I want to be a little bit of a cynic if you actually believed That we were on the verge of destroying the environment. And you were bill forward. Why don't you just close the company down? Yeah. There you go. But you put your money. Where? Your mouth Yes. If you're Jeff base owes Maybe you don't sell as many trinkets? Yes. Or books that are clear cutting force. I mean, and again. I don't want anybody to think I'm a radical leftist. I'm just saying, if you honestly believed all that, and you were John Kerry Now in charge of America's was response. Quit using climate change. Quit using your private jet. That's right, although to be fair he only used to 22 hours last year. Yeah. That's still put out 166 metric tons. So your greenhouse gas Yeah, yeah, he used to more often. You know, if finds we're doing better if he'd used more often, who knows what would happen, But The point is is so often I think a lot of people feel like they're being talked down to no doubt by these individuals because they have all the you know Elon musk. I'm saving the world with all these tests. And yet you own six mansions in l A. And you have Ah, do not want the two corporate jets and you're traveling between everywhere. Because your launch pads in Texas space exes and long, long Beach mansions in L. A. But you're working in Fremont, California. Sometimes it gets a little hard to stomach. Instead of putting our message. Let's all pitch in and let's all do something that is equally important. Right? Let's make a difference. You would think you would think. But That goes into part two of this discussion, General Motors this week came out, said They're done with fossil fuel vehicles and 2035 more important, which send you when I told you this stain, son, May I did not know this. The world's largest diesel engine factory. Is actually in eastern France. That really surprised me. Yes. Yeah, They make more diesel engines than any other factory in the world and they have quit making diesel engines and they're converting. Electric Motors for electric cars. It's pretty awesome. Well We had accurate was going to bring a diesel to America for their TL. They even brought it here for the journalists to drive, but it never happened. Mazda broader diesel over here, Skye active diesel, and it's going away. For you. It was gonna have these how they were saying it's questionable at this point. If I had to guess you'll never see the diesel from Toyota on and I shouldn't say that because who knows for real? What's going on behind the scenes, But they were looking at a Ah dual power plant with clean diesel in a hybrid engine with it as well, Right? And I don't think that is And they're in the process right now. But I could be wrong. Well, again, the CEO of Toyota, a Toyota to begin with, uh, really came down electric.

"Really the truth behind that deal? I think, at the time they were, they would move a player up. And I have always been pro player and I was playing rap and I stood up for Couple of guys you know that I saw were injured. And they tried to move the guy didn't WANNA PAM WHATEVER And I came out and I testified for those guys and I think that it would see its history to move players play around you know they they moved. Back then and so you know I never got the real story, but I had just signed the contract with Houston. And the Con- part of contract you know have a contract went McCann. We're saying that they were not going to trade me you know and they wanted me to sign the contract. and. So it was I was shocked I was shocked when it happened and we never really sat down and talked talk about why did it matter? Of fact I never win in his office after you traded me and years later we talk but we never got around to you know real reasons. Why would I think that's that's what happened. Know when somebody gets treated for that many players, there's got to be expectations go with the guy that was traded. For five players what was it like for you? When you went to Washington, you know it it was it was really kinda scary because about being an NFL franchise, they didn't really keep up with Houston AFL team and so when I got there, they were casually polite but they had lost would their teammates and I recognize that and I think the smart thing that George Ellen did he didn't start me right away. You know he made me work my way up through the ranks. And Roosevelt Taylor, the Safety Roosevelt Taylor broke his. Arm. So they moved over from the strong safer to the free safety and move me till the strong saint spot. Well shortly after that, we played out on Monday night and I had an opt stop log on to your land or whatever four yard line and just solidified their trade and everything went straight after that. What was your sense of the National Football League when you had a chance to play in the merged legs the AFL on the NFL? What did you? Notice if anything that was different or what sense of satisfaction did you have being able to play in the combined leagues now and say I can play at this level too because I'm sure you did have a sense of satisfaction. Yeah absolutely. You know I was a you know you have to respect the NFL you're talking about Jim. Brown. Utah Tall Guys Mac and whatever united and I I remember Plan Baltimore I. Think it was an exhibition game and mackinaw. But I ended up getting an interception off a unanimous stand kept in check and it was accurate harder to play in the AL failed and it was the nfl because of the speed. and. So you know we kind of look forward to an NFL game because it slow the game down a lot You know they didn't have break up summation at Matt much can have all those. Things and it just easier to play. It was physical but you know we're brought up on physicality I thought we were and so it was just it was good to beat an NFL team and that's how we looked at it because. Young upcoming Lee. George Allen liked the veteran player when you think back upon him, what type of coach was he that made him so successful? George L. Great. Not only one great coach. He was great i. And I tell people all the time and you had to think about it when you're there. At. All years he coached me I never heard himself I. He was always polite. I mean he'd worked the heck out of you. You you. I mean he he made you the smartest football player and the land, but he would never put in anything that felt like a player couldn't play till. He never put you. At a disadvantage, you were part of the game plan because if you couldn't play it, he wouldn't put it in. Another being one of the segments callers and I spent an awful lot of time with him and the thing that impressed me the most about him. Is that about a week before he passed away I got a letter from. And he just wanted to see how doing after all that time you know and you. You would think that he and other stuff to do I guess that a long Long Beach at time. But the basic thing is that what you get out of the game and you look back at the game itself and all the coaches that you under he stood out I mean you know he would he would always trust the player. He would always trust to play a he made at your Responsibil- 'cause I think the whole guys playing it on. In, about forty five seconds is there a moment in your career that you'll never forget? Yeah. Monday night against Dallas. And we played the San Diego chargers and the AFL, and I had intercepted back to back. I accepted path man I put that down. We kicked off to another one intercept ball, ran it in. And So that was you know Elvis went thing was happening it real quick. So I thought it was going to be available you know just keep going. But it didn't show you know now that when I look back at them, a lot of players that I really like that I enjoyed but that tackling walk. Back to back in. Acceptance. against San Diego that that was. You know, he was kind of Ah, was kind of a quiet guy every time I spoke to him, But here's the thing, though, when that guy walked into a room, that was it. He was a leader. You knew that guy was at the top. He was the head of the team. And he demanded respect, and he got it. And he's one of the greatest coaches, if not the single greatest coach in Arizona sports history. I don't know. I mean, there's there's no doubt When you look is who else could even compare? Um, you could You go with, you know a lot Cotton Fitzsimmons, with sons looking as you go with Bob Brenly, who brought a championship to the friendly because he wanted championships at the end of the day that it's such an important thing, but Luda Wilson's number Coached at Long Beach State knows where I'm from my my my former All modern did some stuff there and he was at long, Long Beach University. "And that's the big thing is independent or interdependence. You know that. You're providing for your. You know those people yeah to you. This is dependent so they were essentially at some point. They're going to. They're going to pay for it right when they turn eighteen and they can. They can pay for the full program or whatever it is and so. So you know talking coming back to your point in saying like you could make more money if if you emphasize weight loss and it just also speaks to capitalism and how much money is It's a it's an industry led by money. Yeah but that's backed by health industry like it's so complex in how you guys were talking about like Kaiser Right. That's a hospital. That's doctors that are making these prescriptions so their backs by these by by science. Yes by people who go to to. You'll better trained to help you without recognizing that to lose weight. It's an industry telling you all these cold Industry you know. And that's and that's what we need to. I wish when sometimes yes certain people have follower they would be under my just. Say What you want. You want money like are you. Want me like this. Tell me straight of what you're trying to like sometimes the NFL intensity is is just so insidious young and and then because Diet cultures normalize people aren't Like don't have that conscious awareness to to recognize when it's insidious and they take. They read it as authenticity. And Yeah insidious is such a good word to describe it. Eleven easy love it. Yeah anyway anything else. We want to say. No it's it's it's so true. I think there's so much by it already because so prevalent. It's such a an I. There's a lot of good people out there. Helping people make the switch is like how do you get that light bulb moment that now? This isn't right this isn't serving and I think that's like forever. The question I have is I work with a lot of people who've already had that light bulb moment or they're kind of there but You know how people get got. Is I think interesting to look into. Children already have this. You know speaking as moms like house a sense of I mean I feel like my my child is like I gotta go poop. I'm like okay grandma. He's I WANNA eat this. Okay we can make this happen. You know like have this intuitive or do we are born with this we are worn with our about your worn with four with no stress with purpose and in and meeting and confidence right and so these are things have been taken away. Well even thinking about the breastfeeding relationship. Like when you're breastfeeding. Sometimes your restaurant like fifty times a day and then the next day they're like every couple our right like because they they know like you know Of course I. It's hard to talk to like you said. How do we if people haven't had that little moment? How do you meet people where they're at? Yeah you know and to say like like he knows. People are nowhere near the I'll say to even with my kids. I mean it's a reoccurring theme with the wounds that I was passed down from my parents and sometimes I find myself doing the same thing with my kids. You know like making sure you eat so much or my husband. Does that as well so I have to? It's really hard in those moments to recognize like. Oh I'm passing this Lunigiana. Yeah and then to figure out what the alternative is you know and then and then I feel guilty like my kids not eating eating junk quote unquote junk food and and that it's it's a lot it's a lot and so it's an having a pack like somehow them not eating is connected to respect for us. Yeah there's something with our parents about that right. Might do feel like someone told me as a as a parent looking at what my kid eats not looking at the day looking at the. Wiz and and I was like that is amazing. You know that was about it was like yeah I maybe I do have an understanding that it's two days later three days that her but I don't put myself at least effects of my child Makhan. I'm I'm really trying to be more aware of how I'm like when my kids will eat like Chris is really going to be like. I'm full and I'm like okay. Our and that's the thing is there's so different societal. Sometimes I swear he eats nothing and I'm like do not being in so massive anxieties like you need to eat and I'm like in. He'll say I'm not hungry and I'm like okay fine and then I'm like he didn't eat fucking anything like you know so. It's like a double edged sword ons to allow them the space to be in figure things out and then the other part of us like flex within. You're not eating anything and then get it. You don't get the consequence you know and so it's a it's it's it's tough. Yeah I think what I'm also hearing in. This conversation is having people to talk about this with is imperative. But we don't really talk about it like I was thinking about your the prison in your life feeding her today. No child more like there are Long Long Beach recipes rescued support groups. You know league like watch will. She was a part of them. They would just be like it's normal or no. Maybe not you know they. They have that space to talk about meeting kids short and I think it gets back to what you're saying. Amanda about like how how do you? How do we get to like? How do we talk to people about getting Because there are resources but even who talk to people about those resources and then then being willing to utilize those resources. It's all like those are all very different steps. Totally even see at sometimes. I recently in one of my lectures this past week we. We're talking about carbohydrates obviously. There's just a lot of fear that has always been around eating carbs carbs like I'm GonNa gain weight and so I sometimes I get really impassioned when we get to like the dieting and I don't know who told me this and it's always stuck in my head but this whole concept of cheat days and like Oh you know. Sunday's my cheat day and I can eat whatever I want and I tell them I'm like when you're in a relationship with somebody like our guys Sunday like it's my Cheat Day. School are funding depends on meeting certain standards grades discipline attendance levels and the easiest way to improve. Those averages is the council at the kids who are hurting numbers. What do you call this program? Some children left behind. I don't hate it. This program could make our school the Educational Pearl of the district. Swipe left on a bunch of kids. I thought well this is really good. Believe it or not this is not the first time I dedicate something to you. My first comedy central half hour special show that I did in New York and written dedication to you on it. I know it's there and if you pause it you can catch it. We lost touch and you know it was the least I could do was at least acknowledged the fact that the you you were that influential at your premier. This one man came up to me and he said I just want to thank you for giving Gabriel to the world and said I didn't get Gabriel to the world. He he gave himself to the world. And isn't it great. You know and he said no but I saw the dedication and I said he would have done it anyway. Whether I was there or someone else was lucky enough to walk into the classroom. You know I just always felt so lucky to work with you and I. I feel that way about a lot of people but it's just so extraordinary ordinary known around the whole world scary. You know to get over there to the studio on your names on everything. Parking spot isn't as you pull has got my name on. We'll get it fun to hear about all this because I you know I'm just just your regular run of the mill retired teacher and but to see him to come to the tapings right. I would love La. "What is the worst reaction to fantasma and how they looked at him and in relation to rob eagles honestly i he was really over like i would say i would say maybe the second biggest profit maybe third night well real yeah like actually surprised me as well like the way he came out jacket and everything people willing to rob people well. I think that's why like the <hes> like the that match was so hard 'cause like these are both guys really like <hes> yeah people really into him. <hes> people really really indio <hes> and she michelle actually vote both numbers of bill day to be honest with you. <hes> and again culminated at the end the night yeah like for real if you're listening to this when he gets up there for the new world everybody watched that show <hes> <unk> loki contender for show their like their nine matches every match. Was you work like good at even like the opening match like it was like really funny tacna star valley. I absolutely agree. I haven't said now they've seen live. Berkeley is gonna be a superstar <unk>. Absolutely oh god absolutely james. I really wanna thank you very much for the call and your perspective on the show <hes> like you say you know for more on this show. I'm sure jim's talking about tomorrow for subscribers of the site definitely check out the brian and vinnie show and and stay tuned of this show because <hes> even if jim doesn't talk about it for some god forsaken reason on saturday i know brian is going to be chomping at the bit to talk about it. As we lead into sunday night in the semifinals and the finals in long long beach of the super j cup james talk about building the show. I mean yeah the says it's a better way to kinda naturally build up a wrestling show. It works exp better. You know why because pressings built that way on on kinda doing you'd do the opening match goes to a ten minute draw now. I'm not saying this you have to do does every time but just as an example then the next match would take place and somebody would get the win you know by just doing like maybe a simple drop kick or something like that and then the next match so may does that drop kick doesn't get the win but they do another move that gets the win. It just slowly builds itself up again and the talent competition builds itself up again and he can't do that for every show. You certainly can't do it for t._v. For these types of how shows that to me is the best way to do it. It's one of the things that w._w._e. Has gotten way too far away from. I know i'm an old man yelling at the cloud a lot when it comes to old professional wrestling and losing some of those values lemme get away too far over into the sports entertainment aim at rome too far over into we know better. No.

"He needs Jesus win right because he lost the first one top eight get in out of the twelve. Does he need anything like a win in Finnish or I'm not going to be doing. I haven't seen the statute Josh's. I'm sure here's compiling. We'll have all the scenarios laid out when we roll in their next week and we'll know exactly who needs to do what or what needs to happen. It may be that somebody he's competed against has to do something to so. You just don't really complicated like any news last year. Everything was like verse round <hes> First Round Submission. I was like six years on fire. Yeah and you can probably relax a little bit at least if you get that first win nothing you WANNA purposely lose or nothing like that but you know what I mean. This one. I think is going to be a little bit a pressure for sure sure and that's what I love about the P._F.. L. Format you know you can like you said you can lose your first fight and there's a lot more dire need for the second fight or you can come back until he redeem yourself self and I always look back even the Jeremy Kennedy incidents was Sean O'CONNELL last year. You know here's a guy who was getting beat by Ronnie. whiny marks in the first first round had to come back and win. You know got the got beat in the second round went to the playoffs got beat the first round of the playoffs which was weighted as two rounds came back in one got a knockout out came back and went and got knockout beat Vinnie who is he wasn't supposed to be so this is what I think the story you had a great story. You know so Molina Ron. What was the guy that was putting it on right in Long Long Beach fight two times in one night exactly so you know you look at this format? It's built for the comeback. Crazy is your to randy. What are you what how would you grade the N._F._l.? And the steps they're taking I mean that's a steep learning curve now. Obviously I think <hes> the step up E._S._P._N.. This season season has been a huge thing. It's a much bigger vehicle. I mean the other elephant in the room if you will the U._F._C. is on E._S._p._N.. And that was actually Kinda surprised they they managed to find a way to get that done. I'm surprised that that Dana and the folks at the A._F._C.. Let that happen but were excited to be there. It's a great vehicle for the fighters for me as a commentator for for the brand in general it's really really good and I think the format is holding up. I'd be honest I had questions that rebranding rebranding year when they showed me what the format was going to be like Damn Hell. I don't know that's a lot well. What were you questioning the most turning around or not the points not any of the other criteria that they've laid out that was all really well thought out and I think that that has shown is as we've come into some of these weird situations with substitution thing? I mean the W._S. U._S._O.. A._F._l.. Era there were five fights in there where they kind of brought me into that rebranding period that's when they brought Kayla board and kind of built this whole thing around her. That's going very well also <hes> but I had my question about the format and I was pleasantly surprised mostly with the fighters that first season in how they stepped up they embrace that adversity they turn around every six weeks they fought twice night did a bunch of things that that were question marks in my mind I was pleasantly surprised in proud above every single one of those guys where they want to lost in that first season you you mentioned the E._S._P._N.. Plus APP and I think that's a great point because you know these..

"Register in southern California news group at about. Get his take on the Rams. For me to complain. But it's like ten degrees in here. Now. It's guy staying cold. It was nice a while ago. Now, it's just like there's a window open. What can I tell you? So we got the Super Bowl talking about the next to talk about congratulates for the giants against saquon Barkley gets the rookie year, and Kevin why is one of eight going into the football fame. Let's go to Blair in. Maine Blair, you're on the fan. Can't wait for the Super Bowl man going to watch it and cheering on those patriots and this'll be three straight. And and then they get six rings. If they went at Tom Brady. Well, not retire right here. If he did. Even if he doesn't win it. I hope he doesn't retire. You know, this is pretty big for Tom Brady and rob gronkowski. And joining register kid, and you know, the guy from Georgia. They are b- I keep forgetting his name. But there's so many players out there for the patriots that can win. And then you look at the Rams and their side, and they got like girly, and golf, and you know, they got a lot of good players on their side to darnold. I mean that that defensive player I. The defensive player. Right. Shushi or? Doc. Yeah. Don, McKinnon shoot. And. Yeah, there's there's a lot of players for the Rams. I mean, there are a great team to don't give him know give them all the credit. You can give them. But I just want to see the patriots win. But I just don't know till the very first snap. Right. Maybe maybe a couple of couple of snaps in but night. I'm I'm look I'm hoping it's a good game. Nobody wants to blow out, and I don't know. Nobody does because NFL doesn't they they wanted to come down to the wire. That's you know, that's that's the television. That's for everybody. I want people to stay all, you know, all game and watch. No. And I'm spending. My mom's spent money to get hot wings. Hot wings there in the freezer now, I've got there's a drink. I mean, still watch the house it good time watching it at home and instill blowout by the patriots or by the Rams hoping around, but I am originally from California from southern California. So really when I was in southern California, it'd be cheering for the Rams. But now that I'm here in Maine. I'm cheering for the you need to call me on Tuesday. When I come back, and let me know how to party win. How the party went to wings today that they've all gone. Yes. Yeah. They they won't be all gone the wings a lot of them will be gone because that'd be hot wins. And I'll be eating me. And my other friend will be having a man. You know, bring up some basketball real quick. Sure. You guys or is the Lakers are gonna get the player. I don't think that the Boston Celtics is gonna get the player from you know, who I'm outta Anthony Davis the pelicans. Yeah. Davis Anthony Davis. Yes. It's a I mean. Okay. So I will bring it up because Anthony Davis is dad was saying, oh, well, Boston Celtics is in. I mean, blah, blah, blah this. And that that story which wasn't a good thing to say. Because the the Celtics are a great team. So whatever he was saying I didn't like that part of the story. I forget what he was saying. He was saying. Wasn't. It wasn't it. They no loyalty to. They've you know, there is. The over there though. Great Laurie to even though they bit the they are going State Warriors. They got great lower like like how many times they made it into the playoffs. Why he was saying it because they you know, they Thomas they they traded him after he got hurt. That's why he was disappointed trade. It's almost so what after he got our big deal. But I mean, you look at the the Golden State Warriors. They wanna get in the night against the Lakers. All like every every time they look at him on TV. They're they're beating everybody up. They're always doing it. They need somebody like the so takes the Knicks or somebody to beat them and knock him out of the playoffs or give them another law. You know, they got curry. They got Durant. They got Klay Thompson. I know play confident because I went to watch tons of games over it Richardson, Margaret high school Santa Margarita, California, where I was originally from I lived and now he plays for the warriors, which is really good. He went back there, and and went back there, and how to speech and stuff. So I mean, I mean Klay Thompson is he's a huge. He's a great player. He's a great guy and nothing to say bad about him. I appreciate you. Gotta be called on Tuesday, though. My party will be outstanding. My hope. That'd be great. I can't wait and the patriots. So go patriots in. So he's got the got beers at his hot wings. Mom gonna be there. Watching the game. I like that. We'll see what comes back on Tuesdays. Let's Scott and long Long Beach scotch on the fan. Tommy Tony's very good going without guy that guy Blair he the little over over the edge happy. I know he's from Maine. You know, I got a New Yorker not in New York. You know, I I wanted to talk about the Kristaps trae sure, you know, I grew up watching the Knicks for a very long time. I get say, you know, I know the history beforehand, and I know, you know, where they're going in the direction of going forward. You know, I'm a little upset that they they they got rid of them. So quickly, you know. But you know, what if if he didn't want to be here? What what choice do they have? I don't know if he didn't want to be here. I told them young understand where he wants to be. No, I think he knew because they talked to him. And he didn't he wasn't buying into the rebuilds twenty three years old though. He doesn't know. I don't think he knows necessarily had a we had a winner. How to get to the winning caliber, you know, and being in New Yorker where you want to be, you know, this is the mecca of basketball, and I think that. This is the best picture we had in the last, you know, several years as far as the draft other than Ewing. And if you get a guy like that why get rid of him. Well, because he doesn't want to be here. That's that's that means that's the thing. I saw the way mellow was treated in the way cancer was treated that kind of. Driving factor. I like what's the factor for him? Not being here is it is it the party life is that the the eating lays dying. No can. Let me let me tell you. It's saw how they were treating Carmelo. They saw treating cancer. And he said that could be me one time. They he didn't like the way they would be treated. It's it's it's it's weird though, because, you know, Camo come then three days before, you know, he's a free not a free agent. But he looks like he wants to go somewhere. You know, you have presented, you know, about to head out like. Something is going on. And I feel as if like they don't have a good handwriting. As far as the organization. The players because the players, you know, those shoot wherever they wanna shoot the block wherever they want to block, you know. But the only get the respect or will will play with the respect that they give or we'll get you know, like I understand the business, but as much as it's a business they wanna play for themselves. But you know, what the the players run the league. You know, you saw LeBron. He wanted to move on Davis. One the move on the one to move on bazookas wanted to move on. You're seeing what's you know. He doesn't know how to win. That's true. He didn't he didn't have a winning situation here, but he also saw dysfunction with the club as I'm wasting my time here, let me get outta here. And as we were talking to Brian Mahoney. I mean, this this deal must have been in the works for a while. Because you don't go in at eleven o'clock in the morning by three or four o'clock in the afternoon. It's a done deal with all those players and draft choices and all that they you know, as I did was. Perry. Ethics Senate mills I think it was Perry that you got to feel that he didn't want to be here. And if you're if you're fans is player doesn't want to be there. There's nothing you can do about it. You have to move them. Let's go to Kevin and copay. Kevin you're on the fan. Hey, doing Tony. How are you? So how does the Super Bowl spread? Look. I get the page house. My son's picking picking the Rams on picking the patriots. So it's a it's a split. I mean food food. I I'm cooking some Creole Gumbo. Tomorrow. Oh nice. Yeah. Little texts. Mighty rights to go with it. Nice six and three looks a lot different than the five and four and the Super Bowl for the bats. Yeah. It does it does. But you know, it's funny. We're talking about the Buffalo Bills the other day if they had won those four Super Bowls in a row, we would always say they are the greatest team of all time. Yeah. And the and the way they went the other way. So I still think you give them a lot of credit for getting to the Super Bowl, but it's all about winning. But it shows you had they won. They would be the standard that all team try to emulate. And and but now it's the patriots because it just in there so often nobody talks about Montana being undefeated forty nine is being undefeated or or Pittsburgh with with those guys being for now. Now who's winning now? What have you done for me lately? What's the first thing is trade? I mean happening in a New York minute. I mean, he's meeting with these meeting with them. And it's like what you may wanna trade think he's traded. I was just crazy how it all went down. It went down so fast and somebody brought up yesterday. I think the quicken. I've ever seen something like happened. I remember I think it was Ringo the center of Green Bay went to Vince Lombardi was trying to negotiate a new contract and was talking to me says, well, I hired an agent, and he said, oh, you did just a minute. So we went to the other room and came back and said, we go talk to the Pittsburgh traded you to Pittsburgh. He didn't want to do it an agent and that talk about a different time. But yeah, you're this had to be worked out. No. 'cause you know, you you can't trade one for one in six hours. You know, you've got seven players and two draft choices and it got done like I don't wanna be here at eleven o'clock and by three or four o'clock, it's done. Eight seven seven three thousand seven sixty six sixty six twenty page of the fans will take you all the way to o'clock come back with some some Nick some Super Bowl some giants right after this. "Here on Colorado's morning news. A lawsuit could put plans on hold debris. Bring California's emission standards to our state the standards were adopted by following an executive order signed by former governor John Hickenlooper now the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association suing the state over the issue get into it with the president of the group. Tim jackson. Hey, Tim, good morning. Thanks for joining us. You bet glad to be here. Mardian april. Thanks for their pretending. I wanna care try something. I I my impression is your group is not anti doing the right thing environmentally. I think the impression I get is. You're not half need not thrilled about if you want to see the heavy-handedness of it is that the key will young and the new cursor clean cars ninety nine percent cleaner than anything. We had available for sale just twenty years ago in continuing cleaner and cleaner. I'm perfectly missions their virtually emission free. This is a matter of how how much how fast and how much we're going to subsidize. It's really socializing the cost of to move to electric cars in putting the added cost on the cars. Colorado is typically by and that's seventy five percent of the vehicles that are sold in Colorado today are pickups and SUV's. It's much higher than California. So the California emission standards are governed by the California Air Resources board a board. That is appointed by the California governor and charged with testing, your quality beam, California places like long Long Beach in L A in Sacramento, and San Francisco, they have no charge for testing here equality in places like Aspen telluride, Colorado Springs, Denver. But yet if the air quality is bad, they're up to standard there, and we're attached at the hip to their standard. We there. Fifty fifty truck state truck versus passenger cars were seventy five twenty five. So it will be a much tougher. Standard to meet that will add onto the cost of the vehicles. The Colorado consumers want to buy because the factors will be penalized. If the other cars, don't sell I think I read an average of two thousand dollars more per car. What percentage of new cars sold in our? State or hybrid or fully electric three percent at the end of twenty eighteen. That's it. That's how does that. Compare with California four percent, they see it. And I even heard in I came from the bay area was lived there for the past couple of years that a lot of electric vehicles. They make loss leaders anyway, they're not making money with them. But they do it anyways for for. If you want to say the image standpoint of it. Well, it's because of the requirement they have there and you're exactly right Murray. They are called compliance cars. So if let's say and not to pick on any Brander make, but let's say a Fiat five hundred electric doesn't sell very, well and California. The former CEO Sergio Mark Mark yellow for FCA Chrysler that builds Fiat five hundred he said every one of those they sell Qasim fifteen thousand dollars. Okay. So they have to make that up somewhere. So they'd have to put it on the hood of the cars that do sell right because the company has to be profitable at the end of the day at the end of the month for the quarterly financials, and they have to make it up somewhere. So it is social it's really a big steps toward socialism in that were already incentivizing. The electric cars got the most generous incentive in the country at five thousand dollars a copy and lift up five thousand dollars on the hood of an electric car in Colorado. We've moved the market from zero percent to three percent in eight years. But in that same eight years those pickups in this vs move from fifty eight percent to seventy five percents. So Colorado consumers are saying, hey, thanks for the incentive. But I'm going to buy and drive the car or truck that I need. And you're not going to force me into that. Now. Now what we're saying? If it doesn't work we're going to bring out the stick. All right ten this is Pat Woodard in the money center here. What is your suggestion then for an alternative when it comes to setting these standards the state with the federal standard, we're all fifty states operate under the federal standard and some now. Twelve states have have opted to hitch their wagons to California, by the way pet. Good question. But all the states until Colorado have been coastal states. So they've been sea level states. So they're down either the left coaster the wreck coast. Okay. The other left coast. But none of them are in in the central part of the US. I've had a lot of consumers. Tell me since governor Hickenlooper signed the executive order on the low emission vehicle standard since then governor pulisic signed an executive order on the zero emission vehicle standard. I've had consumers telling me, hey, when these go into effect if I can't buy the car truck on wander need in Colorado, all by it out of state and bring it back that doesn't help anything. What's that? We got to wrap it up. But what's the time line for your lawsuit? Well, it was filed on Monday, and we expected to play out over the next twelve to eighteen months. In the meantime, more on a holding pattern on those standards. No, we're not there. They still ramp up. We didn't ask for a stay because they technically graduate and. Go into effect on twenty twenty two years. So there's some time he's the president of the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association. Tim jackson. Thank you for your time. We appreciate it. Thanks marty. Nice. A teen..
