Dozens of Afghan Women Rescued From Kabul
"I want to begin your weekend. Perhaps with a story of heroism before going to the reality of our shame. The story of heroism comes from the great. Britain's telegraph newspaper. I read in the morning is the financial times the second at the telegraph. Then the times of israel. Then i get to the american papers. They only started earlier right so they're hours ahead of us for the news cycles. A little bit more developed this story. I got yesterday afternoon from a friend. Sent this to me. So i cannot claim credit for having spotted it. It showed up last night. I put it online. It went everywhere. And i've reposted it because it just makes you realize heroes. We have lots of heroes in the united states especially in the military who and and the police force and the firefighters. We celebrate them on september eleventh. Then we forget them too. Often we celebrate them on memorial weekend and on veterans day. And then forget them. But i'll tell ya every day in the world they're heroes. The headline of this doesn't of afghan women rescued from kabul in the first ever the first ever israeli emirati aid mission. Remember a year ago. Donald trump presided over the abraham accords. That the united arab emirates and israel signed bringing a warm peace in the middle east followed soon by bahrain and other countries. The story reaches really aid. Workers and the united arab emirates have completed a daring rescue mission that saw dozens of sportswomen female rights activists and a singer at risk of taliban reprisal spirited to safety inaba the nail biting evacuation use local contacts together forty-one afghans from various locations in kabul. And then bust them through taliban checkpoints and over the northern border into tajekistan before flying to the united arab emirates the israeli emirati mission which happened earlier. This month is the first joint humanitarian project between the two middle eastern countries and is part of growing cooperation following the signing of the abraham cords last year which normalized relations
Biden Threatens New Ethiopia Sanctions as Tigray War Widens
"Today. President joe biden signed an executive order authorizing broad sanctions against ethiopian and allied forces involved in the ongoing conflict in ethiopia. The new order does not immediately impose sanctions but it says it will if the parties don't start to negotiate a ceasefire and allow for humanitarian access. The white house is looking to see action in weeks not months. The situation in tigray has become dire. Cnn has uncovered evidence of mass detention sexual violence and horrific killings hundreds of thousands face famine and humanitarian access has been largely cut off. Cnn's nema l. bagger who has reported expensively on the abuses has more on the situation for months now we have been investigating atrocities committed by ethiopian and allied forces into gray. It's clear to us this marks. A new chapter in the ethnic cleansing of the region escapees eye witnesses from the if you open. Border town of hamadeh described to us a renewed campaign of mass incarcerations and executions the numbers. That that's telling us are extraordinary. We're talking about possibly over ten thousand people detained just for being today and they say.

Jessica Chastain Is Riveting in 'The Eyes of Tammy Faye'
"Mother. This is jim baker. My husband jessica chastain there as tammy faye bakker in the eyes of tammy faye which opens nationwide this weekend. Andrew garfield co stars as jim baker. Tammy's husband who people of a certain age like us josh. Remember as one of the most prominent televangelists of nineteen eighty and nineteen eighty. Nine baker was sentenced to forty five years in prison for fraud. This movie is directed by michael showalter. Who made the very good two. Seventeen rom com. The big sick. The eyes of tammy faye came up a couple of weeks ago. During our fall movie preview. You have seen the movie and as i alluded to. We lived through the eighties. The bakers were inescapable in popular culture. At seem does the movie convinced that there is more there was more to jim. Tammy faye than we remember or what we saw in parodies from the time i mean it had to for me because my only point of reference was jan hooks portraying. Tammy faye bakker. On saturday night. Live visiting the church lady. I think phil hartmann was was jim baker. Actually so i didn't really know much beyond that of the story. I mean would have been a little kid at that time. And so yeah this was interesting to get some of the background info a lot of it drawn from the two thousand or two thousand two documentary of the same name. The eyes of tammy faye haven't seen that one. But from what. I understand both at end this i can attest to very much rehabilitation projects. You know to to say that there was more and of course there was more to to this woman than what we saw on saturday night. Live or in news. Reports jessica chastain as tammy faye is going to make you believe that no matter what. She is the powerhouse force in this film. The reason why i liked it. I think overall as a movie. It's it's a little strange. It's both really obvious like hitting its themes and points very underlying them like she on like her makeup his underlying. You know
John Zmirak: George W Bush Equated Ashli Babbit With Jihadists
"John's merrick. What's on your mind. Well i just finished reading the letter of ashley. Abbott's mother responding to george. W bush ashley bavin whose daughter answered george bush's call and joined the us and fought in iraq in our air force and then protested on january six. You know she committed a crime of trespassing. She climbed through someplace. It wasn't supposed to and the capitol. Police shot her dead. No she tried. She tried to climb through but she was murdered. by someone whose name. I guess. We're never going to know you know what maybe general milley can do. He could do us a solid and go behind the back of the Current fake president. And maybe he could get that name to us because he's a stand up guy. He cares about america. She was shot dead by a capital police officer. For no reason she wasn't carrying seven. She wasn't threatening anyone. And here. George w bush. The man who in a sense lured her into the us military. She signed up because of his war on terror. Here he is equating. Ashley babbitt to muhammad atta and all those other filthy jihadi psych psych of ads who attacked our hometown. I think it is for us to establish why we think this is such a despicable thing for the former president to have said it's deeply shameful. He seems to be in bed with whatever you call at the deep state i mean look. His father was cia. His father was as deep state president as it gets. But i really believe w was different from his father. Oh yes he appoints cheney and rumsfeld. But i did not believe because i thought this men's an evangelical christian he's from texas. He doesn't seem to be the kind of guy that would buy into that stuff. But then we see pictures of him and his father schmoozing with the clintons. Now pictures of him. You know hugging a barack and michelle and you begin to wonder where he's coming

Air Force, Colorado State Among Schools Targeted by American Athletic Conference
"Article on cbs sports website. The american is looking to add. Air force boise state. Colorado state san diego state and uab. So you a. b. would be poached from conference. You say that would be a tough loss for conference to say and then you're going to go after so mountain west teams because if you look at it maybe the mountain west is going to be the biggest threat to the american and the rest of us the group of five even though the american likes to call themselves a power. Six conference in all actuality. It's the group of five or the the non autonomy five. Whatever you wanna call him. So the americans trying to put itself in a spot to maybe fend off the mountain west. Lindsey Graham on Gen. Milley's Phone Call to China: 'Let's Get the Evidence'
"Yesterday i believed that general milley will resign. A maybe. you're right. Maybe he had known anywhere because now they're giving all kinds of cover and he's getting cover from some peculiar corners like republicans who one would think kind of no better. Senator lindsey graham. He's a hawk of there. Ever was one. He respects the military. A lot of people criticize senator. Lindsey graham of south carolina because he wants to allegedly fight endless wars. He's the one who said a week or two ago. We're going to go back to afghanistan. So surely senator graham is condemning general milley's allegedly treasonous behaviour. Right we'll check this out. Here's lindsey last night with lawrence jones on fox news channel. Well number one I don't wanna try General milley or anybody else in the media You know. Mike was a green beret. Here's a warrior out there. Killing the bad guys. I spent thirty three years as a judge. Advocate in the air force is military judge defense counsel and prosecutor. So before we court martial somebody. Let's get the evidence. Would i want to hear. I want to hear from milly. I'm tired of talking about what the book says. Milley said. I want to see the transcript and i wanna hear from millie and i will say this has been a military lawyer for thirty three years if the book is accurate in the conversation did occur as described in the book General milley undercut civilian control. I just wanna. I just wanna stay with you for second. Because i hear what you're saying and everyone is innocent until proven otherwise but we already know interim. Dod to acting secretary of defense that he did not approve the second phone call now know the generals like doing what they wanna do but we have a system in america. It wasn't approved so she resides based on that would dan. We don't know what the phone call was about. Dan nail doesn't matter where they approved it. No i mean. Generals talked to generals all the time about the state of military exercises. I don't buy that at all. The content does matter. Dam was right if the content was that. We've gotta shaky president. I promise you we're not gonna attack. But if he does something crazy. I'll give you a heads up. That's completely unacceptable. I mean that. That is ailing lame. L- lame answer and lawrence. Learning From Evolution With Evolutionary Biologists Bret Weinstein & Heather Heying
"You guys said that we are not a blank slate but we are the blanket of slates. Which i think is a phenomenal way to put this idea and wanna tie that to the title and get your guys as take so. It's hunter-gatherers guide to the twenty first century. and so the way that i take that is that notion. You have to understand that you're a product of evolution that your brain is a product of evolution and then once you understand the forces of evolution in how we got here. Then maybe just maybe we can find our way out of it. So what are the key elements to being a product of evolution. That you think people miss that we must understand if we're going to navigate our way well out of this valley of evolution. Let me say. I That the title hunter-gatherers guide to the twenty first century evokes that sort of romanticised hunter-gatherer on the african savannah of the paleolithic. Which of course is a part of our human history and does have many lessons in it to teach us about who we are now and who can become but as we say in the book we are all parts of our history like we are not just hunter-gatherers. We are also right now post industrialists and their evolutionary implications of that. Go a little farther back a lot. Farther back depending on your framing. And we are agriculturalists. Go farther back. Were hunter-gatherers go further back were primates were mammals. Were fish all of these moments of our evolutionary history We'll have left their mark in us and have something to teach us about both what our capacities are and what our weaknesses are and what we can do going forward. And i would add the lessons from evolution. are both good and bad here. One thing that we realized that our students over the course of many years of teaching this material realized was that everything about our experience as human beings is shaped by our evolutionary nature. And that has a very disturbing upshot because we are fantastic creatures with an utterly mundane mention the very same mission that every other evolved creature has to logic genes in the future. And this actually explains the nature not only of our physical beings but of our culture and our perception of the world so understanding that all of that marvelous architecture is built for an utterly mind-numbing purpose is an important first. Step in seeing where to
What is Self-Determination With Richard Ryan
"Conceptualization of self-determination. What is it you know before we get to the nuts and bolts of the needs in and the nuances of the theory quizzes. Talk about self determination for. Because i think that's an interesting in of itself of what does that mean among humans. What are we determining. Didn't some other terms like self-regulation self-determination is when you know what you're doing is something that you feel you're regulating and in other words that you're also a behavior that you stand behind or self endorse this is why it aligns with phenomenal logical view of self determination because when you act with self-determination. You're acting roy where you're willing to do it. And you do it volition lee and therefore you can be wholeheartedly engaged in what. You're up to in in kind of that. That briefest form self-determination is true volition true volition so there's a lot of things that can arise that can pull me away from a or even for me into thinking. I'm volition when i when i really don't. I'm fascinated with the phenomenon of colts. You know and i'm fascinated with the phenomenon of mind control So i guess you can have external coercion and you can have. You can have internal coercion. You know people with. Ocd people with lots of things a lot of competing you know. Psychopathology and things. That are their inner Taking them away from your higher self. So so i think that. And you're right you're right scott. Which is that. It's not parallel to the distinction between internal and external because you can have had her automous forces that are with it. you can have your own interjection. Have your own internalized. Stigma pressures biopsies that. Actually take you away from self determination. Tommy so the threats to autonomy are not just extra inter.

U.S. Top General Milley Secretly Called China Over Fears Trump Could Spark War
"Was there anything unusual set to the chinese counterpart in the phone calls. As far as you understand again. I all i. All i've seen is the same reporting that you've seen jen i. I can't speak to the specifics of the conversation. A conversation that took place obviously before Before this administration took office. But i would add if i may again that it is not only a common. It's expected that chairman of the joint chiefs of staff would continue to have counterpart conversations. I mean he is basically the chief of defence for the united states. We don't call them that he has cobbler. Koby i've had enough. That's live footage from the pentagon. Will Gavin Newsom's Recall Victory Trigger a Mass Exodus From California?
"An email late last night. From michael who writes. It's with a heavy heart that i write. You wanted to tell you my family. And i are planning to leave california. We were watching c. n. n.'s. Don lemon lemon said gavin. Newsom would win hands down and will finally tackle the unvaccinated by making more edicts and mandates to make the unvaccinated. Take the vaccine. You talked about the quality of life in california and he's out and frankly a lot of people will move out of california after last night's failed recall and who could blame them. Who could blame. The condition of california is a disaster gavin newsom as a disaster. The democrats know as larry kept pointing out none of the democrats who campaigned for gavin. Newsom ever said he has done a great job. None of them supported his record. They were just afraid to larryelder.
How To Create Your Own ROI-Driven B2B Content Strategy
"Live in a more distributed world because everybody was forced into their house. It's a more digital age to talk to me about how that is impact. The creation of content and how people are staffing out their content production teams definitely so personally for autho didn't affect us a whole lot and that's because one of the drums banging for a while that i think like the rest of the world has kind of had to light. Come up wake up to a hard way is that i think more marketers sent a focus on like creativity and ingenuity and those things are good because it comes more natural to those types of people. But i think that they need to be more process oriented. And i think about operations kinda hat or the operations might set something that's often lacking and so what i mean by. That is the way we think of content seo and all. This stop is a huge factory. Right where you have. It's like a manufacturing process where you have specialized roles and you have an seo person or a strategy person working with a writer who's also working with an editor who's also working with an account manager designer. And he's i since collaborating a synchronous -ly across time zones and everything else and until you have that infrastructure built outs you're gonna struggle hitting both quality and scale meeting. Most people like for example companies can find one good writer but they can't find like hundred writers or they can't they do ten articles. A month of began do one hundred articles a month and so usually one of those things breakdown when you try to hit longer. Bigger scale usually quality starts to drop. And that's usually an indication of you don't have the processes and figured out you have the team and infrastructure figured out

"Maybe they could explore the same type of thing in Baltimore City, where they bring back the resident trooper. That's interesting and put that instinct. When was that? In effect, Bruce? Well, that wasn't let's see. I remember Resident troopers being around like the seventies and eighties. I don't know if they still do it or not. The little towns would go ahead and just pay a fee to the state police and there'd be a trouper that we come living your town and he was a law man. One of the problems is, you know, homes in federal hill the cheap on you're gonna ask unauthorized sir to devote an awful lot of his or her money. In order to have someplace to live through Homeowner association fees or whatever your supplement that and then what you have to do is petition the city to get some sort of tax credit for supplying some of your own Long force mint. The second thing I have to say is for all these idiots out there to think that taking away immunity from police officers is such a good idea. I think the Maryland F O P needs to go ahead and get a petition going and get it on the referendum. But we also take that immunity away from prosecutors in judges. If you're a judge, and a guy comes before you has got 40 violent felonies on his record, and he comes before you and you turn him loose, and he commits another one and hurt somebody. Then, as the judge, you could be sued for those damages. If you want to take it away from the cops Take it away from the judges Take it away from the prosecutor's actually think that's a that's a wonderful idea. Yeah, I think that's doable. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Well, if you know, you know, I mean, your mileage may vary, but the the idea of holding those in Judicial robes responsible for the downside of their decisions. When you see, for example, this thug up in New York is on. If you saw the footage yesterday before yesterday, just walked by for no reason whatsoever. On what? What's interesting here, by the way. Is what's not mentioned about that event and what's not mentioned about a preponderance of these attacks on Asians, not just in New York but across the country. And that is by a significant majority. Those attacks are being carried out by black men typically younger black men, but nobody wants to talk about that. No, and this was a black guy, and he had 17 prayers. Why is he walking the streets? He actually had 45 40. 41 now for about 40 prayers of assaulting, you know, pilot sucker punching somebody, but he had already had 40 crimes on his record, And that's why I say if you're a judge, somebody comes before you've got that kind of record and you turn him loose on the public. Then, far as I'm concerned, we should come after your house. Your kid's college fund your retirement stuff like that, Because it's just it's unacceptable to keep turning animals loose on the innocent public. Bruce, Thanks your call. Appreciate for 10 Wcbm 6 82 ft Long distance. It's 1 800 wcbm 6 80. What do you think of Bruce's suggestions by buying a one of them right away?.

That's that's what we wake up to every morning. How pathetic is that going to follow? Right in the footsteps of Chicago? It is. They made well, put a sign. I mean, the mayor mayor against their prosecutor, client, prosecutor Tyack Councilman hardened. You should be proud. You should put that sign up when you come into Port Columbus that says, Welcome to Little Chicago. Because that's where we're absolutely that is where we're at. And you know what? Whether they say it or not. This is directly a result of the gross failures of leadership. If they've contributed to this, and today we're gonna talk about that a little bit. And Mr Jim Scannell is sitting with us and Jim, you always have a great perspective on the cause and effect relationship of what? You know what's coming down from the leisure leaders and what's happening on our streets, and we're just seeing this. It's It's just incredible, and it's not. It's not just in those neighborhoods. It's everywhere now, and it's it's just I mean, how do you even begin to get your arms around this other than looking at the top leadership and what they've done to influence Long Force mint on the street? Yeah. I mean, this is obviously you have to identify what's causing a problem before you can address. How you gonna deal with this and fix it for Well, years. But literally in the past year, the elected officials in central Ohio have demonized police officers. Well, you're old now, you know you need you know, they got beat up from doing all the ski jobs that plant myself on the side of the mountain. You ski jumping was an accident cause you see the hump in the snow, but what you got for me? Well, I I do want to say I thought that was a cool video that you posted man of your son in law, you know, opening up 30 30 AM owes had, like one of this for Oh, I did that on purpose Because he's you know, down deep. He was like you dummy. I said you don't have a 33. I don't know You have a son in law that he actually appreciate he. I think he's still dumbfounded and he's got a good then you know, it's sad thing about your son in law. 30 30 like a ref, Women looking rifle, One of my drag one of my dream firearms. I've never made what I bought. It used. I couldn't find it and when I tried everything, but Yeah, no doubt. Well, two things one on this quick. It's part of a three week national campaign. I think I talked about this last week. Drive sober, get pulled over. We are in week two. Now between December 18th January, 1st Where Long Force mints show is zero tolerance for impaired driving. So, folks don't be out there drinking driving, especially especially in this weather, But the thing I wanted to talk Torun about more than anything, you know, speaking in the 30 30 Is last week, the higher Supreme Court and afforded three decision Thetis is an interesting case because it deals with firearms in your own home while intoxicated and they there, There's Ah, You know, there is a statute that says you cannot carry a firearm while you're under the employ of alcohol. And the defense attorney in this case, taking all the way to the state Supreme Court was arguing that you know you're in your own home there. You know, there is an exception created from a law. A case a couple years ago called Heller. It says that you know there's unrestricted right while his interpretation was that that ball was saying it was unrestricted, and, uh, you know, But the deal is even in your own house. If you're intoxicated, and you have a fire in the murder, you can. You're subject to arrest and prosecution. So so wait! Whoa. How does this come up there? They that board where they're sitting. All right. Here's what happens. I knew you were gonna ask some questions on that guy. Is that a clear my county. The guy was arrested, his wife called the police before clock in the morning told the dispatcher That he was very intoxicating holding a shotgun. So of course, the police respond, okay? And thank God done Stupid happened when they did, but the police got there, The wife says everything's okay and then the normal situation. That's where should stop. You know the inquiry, but because of firearm was involved in. You know you're talking intoxication, and there are ways around warrant requirements, and this is one of the ways they did it. The police entered the home anyways under existence. Emergency circumstances is really what it comes down to the bunker realizes she calls the police that someone's probably going to jail. I mean, was he committed? Was he going to commit suicide or Would you just hold his shock and that would be unemployed. If people you know didn't make unwise decisions like that. So maybe that was clean in there. Maybe he was just drunk and they was his dad's gun and he was reminiscing. I mean, what was he doing? Have her call the police. Well, I'm sure that you know, I mean, come on four o'clock in the morning, and she's calling. There had to be an argument over something. I mean, I don't know I didn't get into. It probably came into his man cave and said, Why are you holding your gun? And then she probably freaked out and they've been married too long. And you know, he's just, you know. I think there's more to the story, man, you know, maybe because this was a 43 to 4 to three decision. You know, this wasn't unanimous. And, you know, maybe some of the Supreme Court judge judges, you know? Listen to what you're saying. Because you're right. Maybe he was cleaning this firearm. What a bumper sticker. One time I said, I have the, uh, the return of common sense. I live for the day There's a return to common sense. So, actually, if you're drinking, the guy was being a bonehead. Why would he be drinking playing this firearm number one? I've never seen that synapses. What? The Supreme Court justices? Why didn't she call his best friend or her is her son or I'm very pro gun but guns and I'll call now. But yeah, no. I see that a lot with drunk driving cases where there will be a companionship. You know, they got out firearm in the automobile. And that that creates huge felony problems for something you know, like a d u I. Well, Jack, I will say this I mean, I watch a lot of that 12 1, Adam 12 ways. It's one of my favorite TV show any other night. I did. Thank you. I was I was on my DVR and there was Christmas. And it never caught me that junk but black talk. The thing was the Breathalyzer. It's been around that long. Yes, but some of those machines, you know, there's different versions of the newest version, of course, is the 8000 and the cost. I think $80 million to the state of Ohio. My problem exaggerating on that. But the gender studies in Brazil like the last stimulus check. How's that? Yeah, and at least it was, you know, Adam 12 car 57. Where are you or whatever it was? I will say the machine did look something like an Al Day to be a piece of junk. And the guy did blow a 3.1. I'm like Who stay hands if you blow a 3.1..

"Recently about white supremacy and far right militancy in law enforcement. Mike German is a fellow with the Brennan Center for Justice and former FBI agent who served for 18 years. He authored this report using extensive research. So Mike tell me what were your findings and how big of a problem is Racism within the ranks of America's law enforcement races? Certainly persistent problem throughout our society. And obviously, law enforcement is part of our society and, in fact as the enforcement arm of the law Win. Some laws are still structurally set up to discriminate against certain races. The law enforcers are the people who actually impose it. I wanted to make sure that I focused the report, not on any opinion Indians but their federal government. The FBI actually issues warnings to its own agents, which I know, having been an FBI agent. To remind them of their working cases of domestic terrorism cases against whites, premises or far right militant groups that they often have connections to law enforcement officials. So this is something that the FBI has known about for a long time. Unfortunately, despite that knowledge, the Justice Department has not established a national strategy to identify these officers who pose Considerable crap to the communities that they police. In one of those quotes you sent in 2017. The FBI reported that white supremacist posed a persistent threat of lethal violence that has produced more fatalities than any other category of domestics Terrorist since 2000 You know that? That's only three years ago. I assume that's still accurate. And do you think it's getting better or worse? And that the current climate that's really tough questions hard to tell, because the FBI does not keep annual statistics about how many people white supremacists are militant groups kill every year, so if we don't have any data, we can't make any assumptions based on whether it's increased your decreasing. Obviously, we have an administration that has turned what had In dog with old racial politics in the United States into a bullhorn racial politics and that has certainly given substance. Teo wait, premises groups and far right militant groups at the same time that we've seen them become much more public because of that rhetoric. Unfortunately, we've seen long courses step back and allow these militants to commit violence in public in daylight and block away without any enforcement. Action taken so that also has given them a feeling that the government is authorizing their behavior You documented, you know, decades off white supremacists and other extremists. Infiltrating law enforcement is a stretching, you know, across the U. S or their hot spots or anything like that that you've been able to uncover its everywhere and part of the problem is, it's only once The scandal has occurred. And it bubbles up to the public, sir to the knowledge in public knowledge that that police address it. But often you obviously the The sheriff's deputies that were involved in the white supremacist gang knew knew that there was a problem in law enforcement. The deputies the work with them certainly knew about it, but it wasn't addressed until it rose to public attention. And so you know, this is bubbling under the surface with nobody taking action, and we really have to change that and make sure that Long courses, leaders and government leaders as well understand that this is a problem that needs to be addressed and to be taken on head on because we can't address the other kinds of systemic bias fish if we don't eradicate explicit buy, what do you think we conduce the federal government law enforcement as a whole to weed out these bad actors in America's law enforcement ranks? I think from the federal government side Congress needs to demand Justice Department develop a national strategy. That's how the federal government gets its resource is focus is when there's a national strategy that identifies this is a problem and we need to solve it. And we need metrics to know that what we're doing work at the state and local government level that police Department just have to come up with specific policies and enforce those policies. Police officers have employment rights like everybody else, and we have to make sure that the officers know where the bright lines are. Conduct is in principle so that when a problem arises, there's a clear path. Either. Having that person removed Long force Mint worth their conduct hasn't reached a level that requires termination. At least there's a mitigation plan play. If you want to learn, Maura, the article is hidden in plain sight. Racism, white supremacists and far right militancy in law enforcement. Rest cancer techniques that most of us used to navigate most of our decisions in life gathering information, evaluating it based on what we know and choosing a course of action can lead to spectacular failures when it comes to a scientific matter. The reason is simple. Most of us and even of those of us who are science. The scientist ourselves lack the relevant scientific expertise needed to adequately evaluate that research on our own. In her own fields were aware of the full suite of data. How those puzzle pieces fit together and what the frontiers of our knowledge is. When lay person's a spouse opinions on those matters. When they take up arguments of contrary in scientists, we recognize what they're overlooking, misinterpreting or admitting unless we start valuing the actual expertise that legitimate experts have spent lifetimes developing, doing our own research. Could lead to immeasurable and unnecessary suffering. Still Why did no one see the 2008 crash coming and I did? Um What did the guy from Columbia, the the the professor from Colombia economics professor say to me when he came up, he said, Where's your degree? Where'd you get your degree in economics? And so on, Lee, An outside observer can look at and go. Ah, The Emperor has no clothes. Hello. This is this is so destructive to not just society. But to your own personal power this you know what this is? You've got to go to the high priest. Because you don't understand Latin. Okay? You don't understand Latin, you say Oh, well, God, you know Jesus came to rescue us as individuals and he wants a personal relationship with me. Yeah. Yeah, well, that's that's a cute little understanding. But you don't know all of the rules because you don't understand Latin. So come to me and I'll tell you what those are. That's Total control. Total control. Now, they say. Let's start with a simple, low stakes example. Fluoride in the drinking water. On one hand fluoride is this is a simple ion that shows up in various concentrations, including naturally through calcium fluoride in embodies of waters all across the world. When humans in jest too little of it, particularly in a non young age. It leads to weaken tooth enamel and greater rates of cavities. When humans in just too much of it, it leads to tooth discoloration. And various severity. Sze of Dental Flores Flores is in extreme cases significantly too much or too little Fluoride can also lead to other problems. Blah, blah, blah. In most places in the U. S and Canada are drinking water is his Florida dated at specific levels that safe and effective for humans of all ages. But in places like Colorado Springs, Colorado, significant amounts of fluoride are removed from the water, bringing the levels down to acceptable values in other places like New York City, fluoride is added. To the water. Controlling the fluoride levels of water is safe and effective. Public health intervention reducing dental carries in Children by 40%. However. There are major cities in the world. Like Portland. Where the public or city Council respectively, has voted in the case of Portland repeatedly not to add fluoride to their drinking water and is expected. The typical cavity rates are about 40% higher. Where the water is. Ah, florid ated. There's an old saying, I've grown quite fond of recently. You can't reason with somebody out of a position they didn't reason themselves into when most of us research and issue what we're actually doing is formulating an initial opinion. First time we hear about something, then evaluating everything we encounter after that, through that lens of our gut instinct, finding reasons to think positively about the portions of the narrative, that supporter justify our initial opinion. And finding reasons to discount or otherwise dismiss the portions that detract from it. Of course, that's not what we think we do we're doing. We think of ourselves as the hero of our story is cutting through misinformation and digging up the real truth on the matter. We think that just by applying our brainpower and our critical reasoning skills, we concern who's expert opinions air, trustworthy and responsible. We think we can see through who's a Charlotte in and a fraud..

What do you think they're going to say? So they know that's a truth behind sanctuary cities and saying they're protected Intruders is looking by the fallacy. You know, Tom, the other thing that I that I want to mention it is. I think I see a pattern here. I for years, I've called Thursday's conspiracy theory Thursdays, but I think this is really ah, years ago when we start to see Antifa, BLM and other groups act in a lawless way, and this has been going on for years in many American cities. I said Look, if if the law enforcement does not respond forcefully when people openly violate the law when they flout the law. You're going to inspire other people because it's It's not a strange lesson for people to say. They're breaking the law on getting away with it. Does that mean I can do it, too? And when these When the folks of the 300 people who surrounded these two ice Busses yesterday and mobbed the buses in such way, they couldn't move for 10 hours if they're looking at the coverage from all these cities around America, where they seethe laws being broken stores being looted things set on fire people being hurt and they see no criminal consequence. It belies reason done to say, well. Then we can do it, too. And soon, the rule of the mob becomes the rule of of the United States. We used to be a nation of laws, and now it's whatever whoever has the biggest mob can get away with just about anything they want to dio and that is going to turn very dangerous at some point soon, Tom when people feel threatened by that mob at some point, somebody is going to hit back and say I was just defending myself. You understand? Correct? And I've been saying that for years, Couple first of all, with all consequences returns. Bad behavior will continue learning as a child. The reason you and I don't want on a freeway 100 miles an hour to work Great won't get ticket. The reason you don't line your taxes. You're pretty good, unaudited. "If you miss Sean Hannity, you missed the force or try to force and pressure. An attorney general the chief long force officer in the country. The violate the law to accommodate whatever's sick political agenda, they have you cannot ask the attorney general of the United States to break the law. Now they want some of the supporting materials release. Oh, there was some type of agreement that had been reached their between the House Judiciary committee. And so the criminal contempt thing is not going to happen, and that's not going forward, then all right? So they've been trying to call everybody back. Everybody that already testified before the house committee for the bipartisan Senate committee and before Muller. Now, if you look at the amount of materials that were sent over, let's just start with the White House. The president allowed. Every single person that was requested to testify before any of these committees. Meaning the house investigation. The bipartisan Senate investigation, then Muller's investigation every one that worked in the Trump White House. Not one person was told not to cooperate just the opposite. They were all given permission and encouraged to testify frankly, it was unprecedented that they even allowed the White House counsel the time Don Mcgann to testify before Muller for thirty hours. That's insanity. There's, there's got to be a line in the sand somewhere. They sent over one and a half million pages of documents of documents to the special counsel's office, not one time during this process that the president who had the right to invoke executive privilege, did he ever executive privilege? The Senate Intel had their own investigation. The house had their investigation, and they conducted scores of transcribed interviews. And by the way, we're waiting to get some of these closed door interviews release. We can know more about the deep state what happened and who did what when and where and who said, what when and where and you know, now watching these deep state actors all turn on each other's is getting interesting. So you've had all of all these investigations that have gone on repeatedly and they've come up with nothing and they're not gonna come up with anything. That's, that's the problem. And when you look at the law, as it is, as, as it is written, you know, there's only so many times that you're gonna cooperate before it becomes abuse of their power. Sean Hannity, weekdays, noon to three pm on one zero one point five, FM, seven twenty AM. K. D. W N, the talk of Las Vegas bible, most.

"Seal career in the books. What's next for Jeff Nichols? What kind of goals do you have a future? My goal. Wow. You know, I used to have these big ideas on my head of what I wanted to -ccomplish, and for me, that's, that's not even in my head anymore for me. My my goals for the needy future, the next three months year is just trying to help as many people's I can that are under service, whatever that means for our military for a long force for firefighters, and then, you know, within I wanted develop friendships, real friendships and communities across the country in those departments. So I can help them. Find resources like my big thing. Just wanna get to know many good people. I can so I can help them or find people that can't help. And that's my goal. Very cool. All right. Last thing I'm gonna hit you with Jeff. I love to ask all the data that I get on the podcast. What type of advice, do you have that new father, or for that about to be dad who's out there listening? I would say that. You know, for especially for, for new father, there's if you're not afraid like if you think you shouldn't be afraid. That's everyone's super afraid. There's no structure, manual, of course, super cliche, but. I can understand that. On a serious note regardless of where you came from a child, like whatever your pants were. You good badge. It doesn't matter, you know, if you if you look back, and you dislike your parents. Right. This is opportunity to break that team high. And if you look at your parents like I did and go, man, my parents are my mother's still alive. Father's house. I had some mazing parents. This is an opportunity for me. The father to make my parents, very proud. So naked choice very well said great advice. This has been an honor for me. Jeff nichols. I gotta say you are a first class father. Thank you for your service. And thank you so much for giving me a few minutes of your time on first class bother hood. You bet you have a wonderful. "How long forced look at these girls as the victim versus just, you know that they're prostitute but really needs to happen is, like you said, there's there's multiple prong approach between the laws have to be stiffer. There has to be risk on all sides. I think that the purchasers need to be getting at minimum felonies and having their bulls cutoff shove well hung from a bridge. Yeah, absolutely. And the public should be made aware. So there's. Public, you know. Million humiliation absolutely put their sign on a billboard, be like, yeah. So what if this guy's a Senator he his mother was doing this these things to children? Yeah, I mean, so big. A big deal. And then I think again, I was coming back to like the really the piece that I think if we want to reduce this market, we very much believe that with the right funding, we can reduce what has been going exponentially up. We can curb and reduced by eighty percent within the next five to seven years. So a couple of things in terms of statistics to to kind of bring or hammer home the the severity and in which this problem persists in our societies would is like, what statistics can you share in terms of the numbers of how often this is happening? How many girls? I know obviously it's impossible to say, but is there kind of a range of an estimated six you can share? So I mean, if you look at the National Center for missing and exploited children, they they report seven hundred eight hundred thousand cases per year of just calls. Now, some of those. They're like kids that ran away and showed back up or there's different things that happen there, but they estimated that one in six, maybe one in seven of those ends up actually being a child who gets trafficked. So so six figures. Absolutely. That's every year. So there's, there's, there's probably at least one hundred thousand kids. And when I started looking at this ridge inally I was like, you know what? Like if I can help one, if I can help one, it's worth at right, and everybody says that it sounds kind of cliche and kinda stupid. But when you hear a story of what has actually happened to one of these children, one of these people you like as a human life in man, I'm do whatever to jump in there. The reality of its happing on massive scale to the point of hundreds of thousands a year or being being trafficked to the point where it's an illicit market. So a lot of the statistics that are out there. I just, you know. Think they've been extrapolated on some some things, and I don't know how accurate some of those are because it's elicit market. How, how do you know that? Like clearly, there's a lot of stuff that happens that we don't know about in elicit markets. We can't. We can't. We don't have the front window to see everything and so so these numbers are bare minimum like at least that many well, and then in the world. In the world, you have a lot of human trafficking and in the US which can be labor trafficking in the US. Most of the human trafficking that happens in the US is specifically sex trafficking. And the reason because is that's where the prophet is. That's just the biggest profit. I mean, there's so they say worldwide. They say worldwide. It's over one hundred fifty billion dollar market, and that is. I mean, I think that that's more than apple Google. You know, some of these big tech companies combined for their yearly prop. One hundred fifty billion dollars that's bigger than a lot of countries fucking comment, right? So two things as far as that goes with the financial aspect is do do you have a ballpark figure of what it is in this country and then to? I'm curious like. When you say they're selling their product over and over, is there a range? Does it vary like what? What are people paying. For that? Like is it that fucking inexpensive to where p? But like where people are just like it's fucking twenty bucks, like, what is it? Like? What? Like how, and how much are are these guys? And I know again, I know varies, but like what is kind of the range of what these fucking assholes are making charging and doing all that..
