"So we're talking a little bit about Pride Month. We're going to talk a little bit more about it. It's it's now called the month of groom. Today's groom second 2023. And I need to hit this because I want this to be a part of our conversation. I'm looking very painfully right now on my screen at the cover photo of Glamour magazine UK version. You probably already saw it. You probably your eyes still haven't recovered from it. Neither of mine. There's a pregnant woman on the cover whose name is apparently and Logan Brown the pregnant woman looks very very bizarre because the pregnant woman has a man's haircut. The pregnant woman is body painted into a man's suit that looks like it's ripped open from the you know, the shirt is ripped open from the bottom to expose the pregnant belly and this woman is talking about in this interview and in this cover story about being a trans man or excuse me, a trans pregnant man and as a matter of fact, let me just play this this quick clip for you here. This is this is how she describes herself. I am a trans pregnant man and I do exist. So no matter what anyone says, I literally am living proof and yeah, there's more to that, but that's the key. That's the the core line you need to hear. Glamour has decided to feature this pregnant woman as a trans pregnant proud man as quote living proof that men can get pregnant. You see because this this woman and that's what she is. She's pregnant. Just like every other human being who has ever been born is is is born of a pregnant woman. This woman is going to great lengths to look like a man. Like I said with the haircut got some very manly looking tattoos on her on her arms. Obviously she had her breasts removed. You can see the scars because they've got full topless photos of this woman and she wants to continue to call herself a man. Glamour magazine wants you to believe that a man got pregnant. Glamour met with Logan two weeks before he gave this is the tweet from British Glamour gave birth to his daughter Nova to talk about queer love gender dysphoria and navigating the NHS as a pregnant transgender man. And so I just I feel like this needs to be addressed and I feel like some things that are obvious need to be said. Sometimes obvious things shouldn't need to be stated. But but in the case of the trans in of America and the complete ignoring of all biological science ever discovered or ever known about human beings and quite frankly about all mammals about who and mammals how can procreate and who carries babies who provides eggs who provides sperm and so on and so forth. Sometimes these things do do need to be said out loud. And one of the things that need to be needs to be said out loud again is in response to I am a trans pregnant man and I do exist. So no matter anyone says I literally am living proof. And what needs to be said there is living proof of what? Living proof that you're you're you're pregnant woman. You literally are pregnant woman. How do we know this? Because very simply I'll ask you a question. Do you have testicles and the capability of producing sperm? I am a trans pregnant man and I do. Okay, so the answer is no, you do not. Do you have a prostate? I am a trans pregnant man and I do exist. So no matter anyone says I literally am living proof. No, you do not. I would ask you, do you have a uterus? Do you have eggs? Do you have fallopian tubes? Do you have the ability to carry to conceive and carry and deliver a baby from your vagina through your birth canal? The answer is yes, you do. That makes you a woman who got pregnant and thus worthy of no covers of magazines whatsoever..

"Results from the bud region and Larry, who we were just listening to got in there at the end of the gym call we were playing. Moves on. K dub over Trey. Auggie over here. That's the considered somewhat of an upset and squirrel wins the bottom of that regional. You can vote for today's bracket. This is the Ted Williams record. Jim, of course, cad daddy, the favorite in that one against Chaplin Mack. You got Andre. And at the bottom of that you got your own. Hi, man, it's up next. Paul, all those brackets are pretty creative, especially the titles and the way you said everybody up. Congrats to the winners and congrats to those who are moving on. And those who are not moving up. You know, Paul I was listening to yesterday and Jim and legend had a, you know, I don't know if that was a phone for you to what it was, but I don't know that there was a declared winner in that deal. And the reason I say that is because they both hailed back. So well. So it's kind of equal because you and I both know them two guys, you put them together, you got to fire in the fireplace. Well, the only thing that I didn't like about it was this that Jim tried to talk over legend. And in the end he moved, he just left. But I think they would be a fascinating conversation if they would just get on there. Each go for 30 or 40 seconds and then let the other person talk. Isn't this Paul, when you fight in a 30 and 40 seconds? Well, you grab a chair, you grab full stick, you might even go to the kitchen and give damn coffee cup. Okay. And then you might even, you might even hit somebody with a $2 bottle of water, smart water at that. You know, one of your colors earlier said that he was quote the gym about opinions. And you know what? Sometimes I listen to these people at call in some of the brain dead, you know, the women that they've tried for ten years to get through and you finally got them through. I don't think they would know an opinion from a hemorrhoid. But anyway, let's move on. Logan Brown brought up something that was really interesting. I've been thinking about sometimes when I got a little studio, you know, all the gear and everything. When I go over there, I usually put on four 5 songs, it's something inspiring. And I love the bagels. And yesterday, I was quite disappointed with that. But you know, yesterday was a fantastic song. Probably, I think it's one of the most recorded songs in history. And it's a great team. And it is pure McCartney. But I was thinking about, you know, the 5 Beatles things that I would put on and I'd start with revolution because you kick everything off of the guitar lick like that. And good blowing song, going to a little George Harrison's old Brown shoot. John Yoko, there's something about John Yoko that I like. It's just got a kind of folksy feel at rhythms that rhymes at rose and its foot Tapping. And then you get down to the last two of that. Walrus has got to be one up. There's nothing out there more appealing than I am. Wow, wow, wow. And this and this may shock you. The encore of that set would be a George Harrison to him that you can't name. You'd never get. Well, I'm sure I can. I mean, I do like that. Why am I a guitar gently weeps? But the thing about me, mine is two different ideas. And that's what I mean, we're talking about two people that are of different interests. I'm listening. I'm a lyrics person because that's what I do. You're listening to the musical part of which I have no basis of understanding. Well, I tell you what, you would understand this if you listen to Omni mine, it's a little ballot thing that George starts off with. And then rainbow does this look anything the ring goes involved with, I'm going to tune out. Well, he's just playing drones. When those four guys break off into that jam on that chain, that is, that's where they really are. I mean, that store guys live just responding off of one another in the studio. It is pure badass. Now I'm not telling you a curve. What do you two favorite Paul Simon too? My favorite is sounds of silence. Right. I like to box her, I like graceland a little bit later on. See, you picked out too right there. Those are the two that I wrote down. Wow. Boxer and grace Leia. Graceland is a fantastic. It really is. A great album. That is a fantastic job. Anybody out there that's never listened to it, go listen to it, you get all of it on YouTube, graceland is just pure throw down fantastic creative album. Paul had a good day. Thank you. Appreciate it. As we continue here on rock line, Van Halen coming up next right now, let's go to Dale in Colorado. Hey Paul, how are you doing today? We're doing great. Thank you. Great show, really, man. Really appreciate what you do every day. Really love your show. Thank you. So I'm thinking The Beatles are the stones really. I think you kind of look like Mick Jagger with less hair. Wow. I think Nick's got a few more moves than I do. But well, I mean, it's seriously Bobby. Well, I've never seen The Beatles and I've seen the stones three times and I will say that I've never seen anything quite like a stones concert. But I would probably, it's a matter of I'm not trying to duck your question. I would probably listen to the stones if I just was listening to music. I think, I mean, there's so many different songs that are that are just epic and by the way, The Beatles stand alone, but I would probably pick the stones. Of course they do. I bet you can dance. It's like, oh, come on. I would like to be able to. Come on, Paul, bust a move. But yeah, I mean, I have seen Jagger at various points of his career and I don't know if there's anybody I admire more that can do what he does at his age. Thanks for the call. Let's check in with miss pat next. Hi, Paul. I promise not to hang up after ten seconds, but thank you for taking my call. Thank you. And if you don't hang up on me before I'm finishing it won't take me long. I've actually called to find about squirrel colony of wine or yesterday. He must have been thinking about me a lot over the last year because remember a year ago when he called you and told everybody that he didn't like me. Most confused, I don't remember that. Very well, but anyway, he did. So then today on Twitter, he told me, I reminded him of your collar Peggy. Now Peggy is the girl from Tennessee. I believe that right. Right. Okay. I'll take that as a compliment. Then, on Twitter, he sent me a picture of fake at the beach. I looked a lot like my feet. Even had my summer nail college Pope. Nail polish color on. But I know it was early or late spring because I didn't have a summer tan on the feet yet. So you think he has a foot fetish? You know, I don't know. I'm not sure I'm qualified to answer that, but I am going to hang up on you first. I just had to do that. We had quite a show. John Feinstein joined us earlier talking about Rick Barnes also some strong comments on Brandon Miller, which upset pretty much everybody in the audience. We've also talked to Dan wetzel, a Jordan Rodgers. Let's check in with Trey next. Good afternoon. So is miss pat trying to tell us that squirrel was doing some Twitter trolling?

"Was expand with spin offs including brats kids. Brats babies bridezillas as well as media features various things so in two thousand seven. They made a live action. Movie starring a slew of women and people. Marcus it's funny because this movie a little bit of a connection to our podcast as i'm sure you noticed. Oh ohi is a little back way win. Marcus's brother challenged just to watch the legend of simon conje aka deadly lessons. One of the worst films ever made it was a who who and watch but two of those actors are in this. Fill one of them being khloe and one of them being jon voight who plays the principal. I was so happy. When i found that connection because i was looking at the castle. Auto you fucking serious legislated couldn't drew of course that movie comes back to haunt us. Here's something better. I think. Jon voight is friends with the girl that plays khloe because she hasn't done a lot She did she did brats. She's a couple other things and then she was pretty much obscure but then very recently. Last year she was a a hallmark will be called j. l. ranch that also stars jon voight. She is his guy. He's her godfather or something like and father something like that. Yeah yeah There you go there is says it on the imdb page. I forgot what it says. Oh cool okay. So there's a little connection so the movie follows the four original poprad stalls as if they were high school freshman. They're four best friends but go to high school for the first time. And guess what. Oh no high school. Hijinks in sioux. Are you a fan of high school now. Friendship movies visible need fidelity trying so hard to be high school musical but didn't wanna be a musical and mean girls and mean girls. It was like what if we combine those two movies together. What would get hot. Garbage is the answer because well. It's not a bad at all right. Because being girls super popular musical super-popular and brands are super popular align. So completely makes sense. People forget in the equation of what people would like to that like. Talent and good writing are a part of that equation as well. You know wild to me is half of these girls. I don't know. But the other half girls. I very much do no. And they went on to have careers Natalia ramos and scholarship. I don't know anything else. They've been but logan browning who plays sasha stars in dear white people on netflix and geno perish who started. Jade went on to be in pretty little liars and spinoff and she's now the sister older sister in all the boys i loved. Yes yes yes. I knew that two of them did good into them did badly. And honestly they must movie. They are the same level of acting quality. There's nothing to differentiate it from this movie. I couldn't tell which ones we're going to be famous. I would agree with that but we knew it wasn't going to be khloe. Oh god okay. So markets start. Start me off. I gave you this film. You looked at the poster. You didn't know what you were getting yourself into. When you start watching a pay me a picture buddy. I the movie starts off with a bunch of girls getting ready. Yes and okay tsipras and one of the worst songs i've ever heard in my fucking.

"That date is gonna be you know But they haven't said so. Maybe maybe it just end up. With an american hockey league of american deems solve could be for one year. Yeah i you know it's Yeah like i say you got you gotta expect the unexpected you know look at the devils look at the season in the nhl. What this crazy schedule you know. They got the all canadian teams. I like it. I really like when i look ahead for the week which i often do on sunday or monday. And then i look at you. Know what what what are others playing one of the sends playing and you see it's like okay. You're actually gonna play four times in the next eight nights or something it's played havoc with the player. Stevie good thing. There's no fans in the building steve. If you're ottawa. For example as as russ called them yesterday recorded you know the pin cushion right now of the nhl right. You know if there were if there were fans in the building steve and they were going through this exact thing. And you're a season ticket holder so this take where you're saying we'll bring some guys up from belleville i i'm kind of going to be straight if i go pay to see a bunch of freaking junior eight players in our minor leaguers with through the front door of the dressing room like it's a turnstile guys coming in coming out but that's literally what nine hundred ten ottawa. Senator fans want though not junior eight players. We're talking about the american hockey league right. Some guys some guys who paid their dues like logan brown alex farmington. They've they've spent considerable time in the american hockey league and both good prospects and those are the guys fans wanna see that. Feel like if we're gonna lose anyway. I'd rather watch the kids trying to develop right but what but what you're doing stevie what what you're saying. What the fans are saying is exactly what we said earlier on in the week or last week saying just you know you can't you can't base of bunch of decisions on your team at seven games. You know like you said. Ottawa hadn't played a game in how long before the season started. You know ten months ten months and so now they're eight games in You know they scored five against edmonton the other night. You know an eight in a wonky game when dry settlement bananas and mcdavid so they shot them like thirty one to nineteen five on five right so so for people to come now and say okay. They're losing okay. Get rid of these guys and bring new guys in and all that stuff. Well if you're if you're a level headed coach go wait a minute. You know so so now. I'm working on these kids. Yeah there's a bunch of mistakes bunch of teams are making a bunch of mistakes when they play right now. Everyone relax relax know. Let's let's let's go with them a little longer. You know so partly it's part of it is that it's just been uniquely bad. There's a lot of reasons why people are upset with the way they're going right now but you're quite right. I mean it's not just a the certain players that are you know veteran band-aid solutions It is. I do have some issues with some of the personnel. But the bigger picture issue i think is just. They're not on the same page I don't know how long they'll need to get on the same page. I'm thinking right about now is where i'd like to see it because i feel like okay. I gave them all kinds of slack. I made excuses and we talk about ten months. No games so i wasn't Particularly critical right about now is when things should start to look a little more efficient a little more organized and right now. They don't do like they're they're doing some things five on five legs say they outshot the orleans thirty one nineteen but somehow gave up eight goals at the same time so And by the way that was just for the first forty minutes of the game and So anyway there they gotta get better goaltending and they gotta get organized and bringing up kids. That's not going to change the sends fortunes unless those things get rectified right e and even watching that game the other night. Even i can see that. There's there's basic hockey basic hockey. That descends or not playing. You know like a few of those goals when you look at them you know. Everyone's everyone will scream when they look at it. If you're a fan of your you know when when you're watching them get scored on you. Look now what. What does that guy. What does that defenseman doing. Why is he there when he's supposed to be over there. You know and and you can see that three or four times during that game you know where they go go to the puck instead of covering the you know how the guy to your left. Okay on your site your defensive side maybe wanna pick him up okay where he waltz. And i've heard lots of critics of it. It's it's fixable stuff you know. There is one thing about glaring errors on a hockey team. It's it's easy to show the guys what they're doing wrong. And then you said yourself you know eventually you're going to start to look at the coach and go at how. How are getting through to these guys. They're supposed to play a two one two or a bit of a trap here. Something steve or like you said. There's there's there's one or two ways of faceoff goes either win it or lose it and might be slight. There might be a slight variance on that depending on where you are on the ice right. But it's that shit's been around for years your in your own end defending you win. You win the draw. Here's what happens hundred percent. You know you lose it. Know you're at center ice. Here's what we do. And if you're on the attacking zone on the right side a for on the left side in that circle and heroin going there just just not doing basic hockey you know. And that's that's sad. Play stuff like that is The the thing about hockey and might sometimes so hard to coach is that It's so fluid and cyclical and You know the puck is bouncing and being unpredictable but a faceoff. And what you're supposed to do is a totally set play Either win or lose and everybody should have their roles. We lost the draw. I have to get out there. I'm the guy gets out there to take away the shooting lane. And everybody's set up in such a way that guy even if he doesn't get to the puck and and stop the shot on time he's in a shot blocking lane. The sensor sending guys from non shot blocking lanes to get out there and trying to get the shooter at this. You know so the the setup is weird but even if you don't care it's a it's a it's an unusual set up Even if that's the case People aren't running the setup the way it should be a confused right now and that's coaching other. The setup is poor or the communication is poor. The execution is for that's dj. Smith's job to fix that but it's a set play not very unpredictable. All right let's take our first time out in the program when we return. We have more hockey. Talk on the way i wanna tell you about. The good folks at jim came forward. "Formed. They're gonna kill everyone. You know so now i should point. You know it's it is just it's traditional that you know when you To have your home opener and your the day before at practice yesterday running your lines you generally will go with the line. You're gonna play in that game with But it's possible that call in white could still get in there. Is you know there's something to be said for that. You think about calling white and his and his situation He got the contract for six years at four point. Seven five million per year and sometimes a kid When they get set up for life like that so early like he'd only played ninety four. Nhl games and he got his big long term contract based on potential. Not on accomplishment. He had a forty point season in the lead up to that but the assumption was he's going to keep moving forward and the learning curve and and his skill would all continue to evolve and So far he's been dinged up a little bit. But i have a feeling that maybe the sends decided to do this. And i'll get your reaction to it. Maybe they're trying to reset the kid and just get him hungry again. Like think of yourself. It was twenty one twenty two years old and you've only played a handful of nhl games well. Ninety four is more than a handful but as not many games and then someone hands you a long term contract like that five years. Four point seven five million a year that can sometimes take a little bit of the hunger that a kid would naturally have at that point in his career. It's so funny you say that. That's kinda it's kind of creepy When when we do the shows here when we launched in. I got a pen and a piece of paper and and you know might tend to spend so i just i just write down points that come to come. Come into my head right. I wanna when you finish that. I want to go and i just i just put down with the big dole. They're not hungry enough. And that's i borrow that from kevin lowe six times stanley cup champs longtime orleans. And he's still still with the orders and he said well when the big money started to happen that that became an apparent problem that he could see and equated it to the to the big dole saying they're not they're not going to be as hungry. They're going to be hungry. Because i'll be all right here. You know. maybe. I don't want to go into the corner there and check that guy i got i got you know making five million. Take it easy boys. You know so interesting you bring that up. Meanwhile he lost his job too. So in the eric. Carlson trade that the sands made the san jose Ottawa got their first rounder. And that was josh. Norris a centerman and there's a kid who who is hungry he's He's wildly skilled and he comes in and effectively. He took the job that call in white and also another first rounder. Logan brown were fighting for logan brown. Didn't even make the twenty three man roster white at least made it that far but the money would say that he's going to but yeah it's all about and the sends one end of the season saying this. It's all about best players play and and sometimes it's going to be some decisions that aren't real popular or some decisions that don't make sense based on what the finances are but If night in fact is the game. Plan i i i tip my hat to that best. Players play should always be the game plan and contracts. Ideally wouldn't play hand in the decision making. I wanna take a timeout on program. Here want to get to this Because as a sense in leafs get ready for their game tonight. I wanna go back and look at that toronto opener. A five four overtime win over the hab 's on opening night as a couple of angles. I wanna hit on that including fighting as coming up after we have these messages everyone knows that to get the best price on home and auto insurance. You can also check it our websites. Twa project dot com k. So i watched toronto's five four ot whenever montreal james now first of all toronto scored to win the game. I was really taken as i always am with. Lee fans cheering away. Like that being all happy and then i realized wait. I'm irritated right now with fake -ly fans because it has piping in the noise at that stage really all fan all the fake anyways but the ones can still get under my skin backing up. What you're saying earlier steve. But but not being hungry enough and the lowest said and all this stuff in the big dole from these kids. it's it may be. It has changed the game right where it's not it's tough and i think back to the oiler calgary rivalry and a guy like jerome mcginlay and i was talking to a friend of mine who who played minor hockey and got drafted by the oilers years ago. He's long since retired but but he was saying you know know one plays tough like they did in the old old days right where everyone played tough and again louise to see him. A lot. Right with calgary and and it was a. Wow the tough guy good player really did player so the rivalries like we were talking about yesterday. Stephen i said there no rivalries anymore. Because there's no fighting that fight li- you still there see. I am okay. That fight last night between simmons and Ben is a trod that the guy from montreal correct. I it it changed. It changed the whole mecha- the game there last night. You know and what here we go here. We go good good fight. The guy throttled them. Cool guy. He knocked the montreal guy. Down drugs got punched down to the ice and the guy let off drilled them german. Who's down on his knees and he didn't. But i was gonna go stevie talking now. We gotta rivalry right. Yeah and it still finding is still something that can turn a game around and there are lots of people in the media. A lot of fans on social media who say that fighting must be abolished and part of me is a is on board with that from the concussion standpoint and i do worry about the health of nhl players who have to fight all the time but no one is ever going to convince me of the angle of and some people do. Have this take that. A fight cannot turn a game around the sense. We're in the playoffs and twenty seventeen. Chris neal hadn't been used very much by g. Boucher the coach at that time there in a playoff series with the new york rangers and getting shoved around the rangers. Tough-guy tanner glass was out there and he was running amok and he was really intimidating. A lotta the ottawa senators. So finally g boucher. Put chris neil back in the lineup and he was only out there for one shift but he basically went out and rag doll glass for about ten seconds and all he went and he didn't get another shift in the game but the turnaround in the game and the series the came back won. The series won that game and changed the dynamic of things completely. Everybody played a little taller a little stronger. After that brief exchange between neil and glass but in other words lots of people though who said come on one shift is not gonna turn a series around you idiot totally disagree and i would invite anybody who thinks that a fight cannot turn a game around to talk to every player in that toronto dressing room last night and ask them how they felt after the wayne simmons fight. They're down three one. Simmons waxes chirac and the game changes completely right right. I agree like i was saying. They're not they're not tough enough. You know that like last night in the order game they lose by two goals was close game. They tied it up. I think the tied up in three all summer. I forget anyway. They're right in it either tight or go back and then there was a one giveaway. Okay that they're trying to trying to move the puck out of their own end The others are having trouble. It gets up to the blue line. There's a couple of guys there and dry seidel. Okay as around the puck and instead of instead of hammering the guy okay the toronto guy go for the man. Not the puck rights tv. He tries to. He tried to get his blade of his. Stick in there to grab the puck. 'cause he'd get a breakaway right. Well you know he didn't. He missed it and toronto went on to score and what he was. You know what you're supposed to do. There is hammer guy. Especially if you're the big offensive star like dry soil and latin last night's game. They were going so bad. And then i'll connor mcdavid not not not to the extent of penalty. But you're you're number one guy in your team in the league. And then he then he took a guy out you know and i was gone every goal right now. We got it. That's more like it. That's more like it. So the other angle. On the leafs inhabits on opening night of the nhl was three on three hockey and when it first came in. I was like this is pretty cool and then it got a little bored with it. But i don't know it was the best part of the game as it so frequently is i mean it was just fantastic hockey and it eclipsed the previous three periods level of entertainment. And i know that there's part of me that's a traditionalist. A purist of the game that the barks loudly when anybody says three on three hockey. That's all it's gimmicky. It's it's awful but what we walk this earth for x. amount of time and you have to think to yourself. How do i wanna invest my time. Do i wanna watch grinding five on five perfect cycles. Perfect systems and forechecking and hardly any mistakes. Do i want to watch that for three hours or do i want to watch more of the three on three entertainment which is outrageous. -ly undeniably entertaining Wash that last night and it just seemed like the older i get is a hockey fan. The more i glommed onto the notion that you know. Maybe if it's not three on three maybe four on four. I don't know but when you see like how much more compelling it becomes like him nodding off near the end of that game and then all of a sudden three on threes laser in. I gotta think jimmy that it might not happen in our lifetime someday. The highest grossing highest. Earning pro hockey league will be a three on three league or something different. That that's a little more exciting. Yeah what you know what. You're you're exactly bang on with what happens to me as well. And i bet it happens to a lot of people so you get a tie game in regulation and we're going overtime and like i bet a lot of people go like this. Okay now knowing it's okay here we go now here. We go all right and i sit up and i'm going now we're going to have some action here okay and back and forth in the montreal. Toronto game when that three on three was crazy. Good crazy good. The goal stood on their head in a bunch of attempts at went. Like i said it's zipped back and forth. It's fantastic fantastic bunch of to on one's always right in that in the three on three because you can't. You can't play defensive. Yeah you can't right it's like how. How do you defend this story. Andrea guys are spread out all over the joint right. It's good love it. I love when the three on three came in. Yup i would say i guess the only downside the only sort of am arguing against myself right now but maybe if you had a three on three league and by the way they do have a pro league that i mean. It probably won't happen now but it was scheduled to go as of june of this year called three ice. And you probably remember grant. Fuhr i think is one of the coaches. They've got a bunch of former. Nhl players in coaching And so they have a tv deal and everything i think. Cbs nt snl. Jumped on that thing. So it's i mean it possibly could work. I would caution though that maybe it would be too much of a good thing because part of what makes it so special now is that it doesn't happen all the time is very brief And it's the see. It's all the superstar players that you know and love and It decides you know the three hours of of hockey been watching. So would it be able to exist on its own as a league with nothing but three on three hard to say yeah. Well there's there's a bunch eb two. There's a bunch of stuff. There's a bunch of positive advantages. That could happen if you did that. If they made this extreme changes you know what that's all we're going to play place three hundred three okay. Three hundred so first of all. It's all about open steve. You and i both agree on that. All sports is about the offense. Okay whether you like it or not whether you're a big defensive guy and say that was a hell of a game the way they grind it back in terms of the entertainment value mean yeah. Nobody likes nobody likes it. They like they like the the big three hundred. So you got a bunch of action. Okay if you did that. Secondly steve the amount of dole. It would save you with having to sign guys right. You only have to carry twelve guys. Four lines right. It would be economically way better. You know what i think. They should try. Stevie here's what i would do. I don't know what the percentages of people who are who are three three or are con- three hundred. I don't know what it is but let's assume everyone loves the three on three. I would take the last two minutes tv or of every period and play three on three or the first two or the middle too. But i would do it at some point during every period that you'd have this three on three Regardless of what the score is okay. That that i'd love to see that last two minutes to eat or last even a minute. I don't know last ninety seconds last two minutes three hundred. You know what ten years ago. I'm i'm probably hearing that taking going. Oh how dare you. That's not how the game is played the on five. That's outrageous gimmicky. How dare you but again. The entertainment value of the three on three is undeniable. And i think that. I'm willing to experiment with things you know but that i hate that. That wouldn't be terrible. It will be and it wouldn't be dominating wouldn't be taking things over and What i don't know what the future of three on three pro hockey might be the. Nhl would be you know. It would behoove them to experiment with stuff like that because if you leave it out there and continue to showcase it as something that everybody loves. Everybody loves every night in the nhl You might find yourself With a competitor before long. Maybe this three ice thing will eventually be a competitor. I mean i can see it. Working grabbing recently retired nhl players. Who still are in great shape. There's still a name. Asia bring jerem again louder whatever Or get a get a kid like austin matthews at seventeen. He went over to europe before he was He wasn't playing these playing pro hockey in europe before he was draft eligible. Maybe grabbed those types of guys as well so names. From the youth perspective the feature superstars. But yeah i mean it's such an entertaining product that i mean the. Nhl really really has to keep an eye on it. I think given the fans what they want. Yeah the problem. Is you know what a guy will self label himself a purist of the game. You know that were you know. We can't change the rules but everyone gets along. Everyone gets used to it. Steve so a two minute warning hits we blower dead and we'd play some three on three to close out the periods. I don't hate that. I you know what i might get. I might get a gig in the head office. They may bring me as a consultant. Stevie it really meant that would be just the right amount of three on three to without taking the whole thing over a don't hate it. Don't hate it anyway Radical rule changes aside. We need to talk.
