"That just like lighting a match you need a surface to create a flame so if you take a syphis away from Situation to trigger a moment a person a thing. Then there's no flame that can be created these no inflammation right. So when we put a shoulda tiv- or an expectation onto ourselves or a project or someone else way create a surface that can strike aflame that can create an inflamed projection. That something has to turn out sit in way now. The moment we do that the moment we have an idea and expectation with got friction. And that creates you your fi. Your spot fire. But if he took away the sugar tips where he took away the expectations. Out of your language if you took away the programming that projects an outcome based on something that you are not in control of that just repeat that an outcome based on something that you are not in control of a woman in survival. My were often not in control of how we react because with so overwhelmed that would not make conscious decisions when we put a expectation about love or project development or a relationship or a business partnership and we look at that other person and we think to ourselves they should be doing this with cried as surface. That is a potential friction to our ideal. And what that outcome's gonna be sorry a shoulda tive. I should have done that. Cool as i should have got up early. Ah i should have worked out. I should have bought house ten years ago. I should have got divorced a lot earlier. I should been more honest about xyz. I should have apologized. They should have been. I could keep going with twenty minutes on the examples. But want i want to cement and to cede intellectually into any of you. Listening to this today is a shoulda tiv- is a mental additive. It is not a healthy place to come from for yourself or for others whether it's your child whether it's a colleague whether it's a project or to relationship. We have to absolve ourselves from this type of conditioning and replace it with a possibility statement. It could have. I could have i shall i will. They will and festival. We have to get grounded as to. Why do we keep putting expectations and validations in requirements on things. That are not just about us out of the street. What you can do is you can give something you very best conscious time and if what you can do is you can consider all the opportunities and outcomes and take the next right step and allow the best highs possible good to occur without placing your expectations of perfection. Your expectations of love your expectations of performance upon someone else's plate if you haven't stepped up and done all the work that you need to given the fist place now if we took a step back and we looked at how we actually are responsible and shot for ourselves. I think that's more interesting discussion and quite frankly lately i've worser reflected on when we're doing a lot of work around families will partnerships with addictions or nassim will guess lodhi in the workplace and relationships and and how we often people pleases and become often very narcissistic because they want to control everything when they turn the tables around and vice versa. When you're lacking something you're always searching for someone else or something else to fill that gap. Sorry what we need to do inside ourselves as to look. why do we feel lack. Why do we feel that..

"Launching a course working with clients. This is really a good time to create some magic in your life. And i don't know about you but this is my favorite phase. I love this feeling. I love this feeling of ultra creativity. I feel like i'm on fire. This is my favorite phase to be in. I also dig this phase because this is when we feel the most social so this is a good time to plan your networking events. This is a good time to do interviews for a podcast. This is a good time to work with clients because you are in the mood for conversation and communication. This is when you want to be social you. Want to be a social butterfly because you were just farting around on your period like a little hermit in the bathtub you know and now you're like hello world. I'm here i'm alive. Let's hang out okay. The next phase number three is ovulation. Oh baby this is all about execution and taking action. This is also the phase where you want to focus on intense workouts like heavyweights hit training high intensity group classes working with your trainer lifting heavy. This is the phase where you can really push yourself in your workouts. The osceola tori phase. And the one right before the folicular phase the preoccupation phase but remember that when are menstruating and then in the ludhiana phase right before your menstruating. The one we're gonna get to. That's when you want to do more. Stretching yoga pa- lodhi is walking restored exercises. So just remember that when you are in phase two and three aka. Look you're the one i just mentioned and then ovulation the one we're chatting about right now. That is win. You can do more intense workouts and that is when you can really push yourself at the gym or in a group class so listen to your body. If the week of your period your body is telling you that it wants to go on a walk and it doesn't want to go to the crazy spin class or go lift with your trainer. Then don't do it and this isn't to say to be lazy into not move. I am huge on movement and exercise so absolutely keep moving your body but if it's the week of your period it doesn't need to be a high intensity heavy lifting class it can be a walk outside a bike ride pilates class stretching yoga. It can be these things that are more nourishing and a little slower pace for your body because your body is doing a lot of work down there. You know what i'm saying so give your body the rest it needs. Listen to your body and it's really cool when you can match your workouts with your cycle as well because this can help with your hormones and fat loss as well and that is something. I'm testing out too. So we'll keep you posted on that but again ovulation. This is the face to execute take action. this is. when you're feeling like superwoman. This is when you are going to write the first draft of your book. This is when you are going to coach your clients and be all in. This is the time to take action. Number four is the last phase pre menstruation pre menstruation is from after you ovulate up until you start bleeding it is from after you ovulate up until you start bleeding and progesterone is the dominant hormone at this phase and this is the phase before menstruation so we loop back to number one after this which is menstruation so your energy is going to start to decline because your body knows that we're working towards menstruation again soon so this is a great time to work on planning really go in do admin tasks do accounting scheduling. This is more where you do. The internal boring work versus you being high energy and possibly coaching speaking creating content. Doing things like that. This is where i do. More of the behind the scenes admin stuff in my business. Because i know that my body is wanting me to slow down a bit before the week of my period and honestly this is what i think helped period cramps tremendously honoring my body slowing down putting my health. I am not forcing myself to push through. When i was beyond exhausted i actually started to listen to my body and that optimized my hormones and my cortisol levels were not through the roof anymore so i really think that cycle sinking plus. Cbd has helped my painful period cramps. Tra- mendez lay tremendously. Okay tremendously and real talk. If you have not yet tried out. Bath bombs are delicious. Gummy is you're going to be addicted. Okay are delicious. Gummy is and our tinctures. What are you doing at. Check them out at michael's dot com. Here's what i do. Here's the defeats the week of my period. I will double up on my cbd intake. so i take it every single day to help with my anxiety. My stress my sleep but the week of my period all double up. So i will do two or three gumy's a day shameless. They are freakin delicious. I will do the bath bombs especially right when my cramps come on and i need that heat to help. Alleviate the pain. Oh that is just so blissful. It's a slice of heaven. So i'll pop some gumy's i'll get in the bath with the bath bomb and then our tinctures are the most potent and efficacious way to take cd. Especially if you are in a lot of pain. So i will do. A few droppers of our fifteen hundred milligram tinctures. I love the watermelon meant. That's my favorite right. Now you can add it to smoothies drinks. Whatever you want to add it to which is awesome. Our entire line is. Thc organic third party tested. Gluten-free my friend..

"Nice try punk berry said now. Lead me gold all right then. Yes spratt the leprechaun said heaving asai a few miles from here. Just follow me pointing now. The leprechaun pointed this way and that leading berry on a wild maze of path through the hills. It was only after they passed the same tree for the fifth time. That berry started to catch on. Hey you have to lead me to your gold. I told you to lodhi if you had brains dangerous. I am leading you to me gold. It took bury a second but then he realized his mistake. Take me directly to your gold. The fastest route possible. The leprechaun scowled and seem to point in a direction despite himself berry followed and they crossed over the hills and leapt a shallow stream and wound their way through a thick forest of towering oak trees. After what seemed like forever. The leprechaun pointed straight down at the ground. This is it asked berry staring at the base of what seemed to be a random oak tree. His eyes were aching and scratchy. He wasn't sure if he had blinked. He wasn't sure if he had blinked in the past hour. This is where you keep your gold. Hi this is it. you found it. Your big bully said the leprechaun trying his best to fight every word. I need to go get a shovel berry. Said he knew he couldn't keep his eyes open much longer but he could use the leprechaun's own rules. Promise that you won't move your gold while i'm gone. I i promise said the leprechaun. He looked like he wanted to say more but it was clear. The magic held him good berry said he looked at the tree to memorize it but it looked just the same as the thousands of trees sprawling throughout the forest around him instead he took off his bright red bandanna and tied it to the lowest limb of the tree. And you promise that the treasure is here. The leprechaun drew and ax over his chest with one stubby finger. Cross my heart and hope to die. I swear it berry was about to let him go. When a sudden thought occurred to him he had almost missed it. And and promise. You won't untie my bandanna. The leprechaun scowled and berry laughed. He had beaten the little fairy creatures. Last trick fine. I promise scowl the leprechaun. Now let me go your wretched almighty.

Listeners that listen to this right now they are not. Flowing in the fullness of power in victory big Turkey living in area of Lodhi. That's it. Now, the reason for that and sold in the book, we don't have town go all tell you gotta get in the Book Yourself. You GotTa get a direct direct connection with the source. Disconnecting, sever all these other sources. Of Yourself and people whatever not not not in the little I'm talking in the term of your heart you have to you have to do it at all. Be. Thank you for in that and just prove audit confirmation on the point you just share with your listeners about how we are in this world. We're not now here's the thing. This is very practical and is completely impractical. Simultaneously, Jesus is the most to me if anybody can show me different, show me. But from what I understand, what agrees with what I read, what he says, what he lived, what he says does here's the most practical person principally because he created the principles and this is just this ends bonus for body. The here's the issue. All these people are excited about the secret. Thank it. Manifested would bank. Yeah. Okay. Those things were we live we live we can take all the stories of miraculous things. Like. We think it's going to happen. But here here's the deal. Here's the deal the people that are in personal relationship with God, the heavenly bothered through the only way to him as Jesus Christ in personal relationships are the ones who are they're applying principles and getting all of getting all the whatever they've taken the prance out of the principal. That's what the Lord told me one day he said here's the problem with these people they're trying to run and do the principles that have made all benefit without me it's David. David. It's the same thing when people say, Oh, the universe gives me some. Well, the universe, the the universe can't give you anything that God's in control of right when God's in control of that the stars and the Moon in the have the universe of the universe has no power. You said it right before this universe has no power. We can't manifest something and received something from if it's not coming from the one who created it for us that's the whole point I mean people, what do you want a printable or the? That that all the principal. The one that still alive in still here and still evidence still working and still desired. I said this it's funny that you bring this up and then a no we're still trying to get on but it's it's good. This is how God works. I had a young girl that asked me to help her with their health today and what I'm doing nobody else is doing in my field where we're way ahead because of the wisdom of God because we've asked for wisdom. It and and and so she said she said have really screwed up and I've I've done some things and I got pregnant because I love God. But I've made some mistakes and I said, you know what? God is not a god of condemnation..

"That I wanted. So you so you end up You end up going through this process and over the years. I VINTAGE DRUMS. Mitt from this neat little club to this. You Ju Ju Ju Noun of people and the original CNC was a guy named David Carrington and Bill Cardwell and David wanted to build drugs and we ended up doing a retail store because he had so many vintage drums and I had so many vintage drums and they were overrunning. Houses are of our houses. We we just got a storefront and and started selling sticks and heads and use in vintage drums out of out of the store and He wanted to start building. He also started a family about that time. But the first drum said I got to build. I built out of With Keller Shells I've dealt out of my My garage I shipped a three pallets Drums to gentleman named Paulo. Spur Lodhi in Italy. That Ludwig eventually did a book called Apollo Spur Lodhi collection and all the drums in the book except for Ian Paces Maiden Japan Kit and cozy Cozy Powell's red sparkle. Ludwig Kit All the other drums in that. That duck came out of Kansas City. Out of people's basements and garages whatever from over the years. So did just got to be something that there were so many people involved there wasn't a cool little club anymore. I I don't want to say I lost interest because I'm never lost interest in Ole drums. It's just that a started wanting to a started messing around with the router on a router table and an old vintage of vintage drum had an extra hole in it back in say nineteen ninety nineteen ninety one to three. Nobody wanted it. You couldn't give it away. Oh It's got an extra hole. Now they all. They moved the realm out. Now I don't want you know. None of those things were really. They didn't retain their vintage value at that time. Because there was so much press Danes stuff out there and you could buy or not uh so I started messing with the shells. That had been Bastardize so to speak to where I've thought okay. If I was building this drama and I wanted to get the sound out of it. Jaundiced started messing the bearing edges on vintage drums. That I couldn't sell. And retrospect I was at the darn things along but if it did give me a it did give me a lesson in how the edges were then. The shell constructions of all the different drums and and all of that but Paulo Paulo. Spur Lodhi Did interviews and wrote for magazines. Then he had Carl Palmer of Emerson Lake and Palmer at his house and he was doing an interview and the the I don't know I think it was like three pallets of vintage. Drums showed up while they're doing the interview. And all of a sudden you know. They're in they're tearing boxes open and seeing what's coming from the United States and Carl said I've always wanted a drum set and my sizes that look like Jean. Croup is kit from the nineteen boardings but had gold hardware on it and policy. Call my friend Bill Cardwell. He'll make it for you. And now so I start getting these telephone calls and this guy in a British accent. That was a little bit higher pitched than they. You know saying this is Carl Palmer. I'm going yeah. I'm buddy rich you want to go to pizza hut and have feeds You know it's like I thought it was one of my friends just messing with me and I did have a fax machine at home. And that's the way Paulo and a communicated and finally I get a fax from telling me you stupid idiot Carl Palmer trying to call you. You talk to him when he calls in good hanging up on. So the very first drum set that I got to build was an and I use keller shells and I made it with a six ply maple Six plow reinforcement rings. It was White Marine Pearl. I had a bunch of old radio king hardware that was because there wasn't being reproduced back in that time. But I had a whole bunch of old radio king hardware and I went and had gold plated and basically built Carla Double Bass Drum set his specifications and That kind of opened the door for building drums and my partner David he wanted he was really into it well. He was also starting a family at that time too and by the time we started building drums out of the back of our store in a little room. That was about twelve feet. Long and sixty wide He he got busy with family and he was. He was an engineer and he ended up Knee buying him out and he ended up moving to Dallas and he and I are still great friends to this day allows Grad today and So we don't have any of these it was. It was not a bad thing but we were just we just build sat in the back of our store and set it out on the floor but when I saw that the big boxes were all coming to town and everything got sold stores was offered early retirement from Bear Chemical Corporation And and it just seemed like everything was lining up to start making drums now. I had four artists. At that time I had a grand total of four endorsers which wasn't much may don't by then I had. I had thought I forgot. We get picked up sparkle horse which was a great pickup two. So we we had anyway. We had good five drummers and no potential for selling anymore drums now what year is this at this point? That by this time were looking at two thousand and three okay Were were all the way up to April of two thousand and now let me ask you was coral Palmer's set was that technically like the first CNC drum set it was it was I didn't thirst. There's not any badges some odd. I got you know what I got a picture of that drum set about three weeks ago too I. I didn't even take a picture of it when I made. It didn't think anything about him so I got a picture of it the other day and I can't remember what I did for badges on it. I don't even think I did badges on it or maybe I don't know I can't remember any member but It was was the first drum set I ever made so not bad. So Yeah Kinda Kinda tough when you start there in I built the I we would build a kit and we would put it in our store and we. We took one to the Chicago show early on. I think it was the second or Third Chicago vintage show. We took a custom. David custom-built drum set. And I and I remember it at seven about thirteen wooden snare Monnet Aldridge game. He kept coming over and playing that Sner. Grown wiser sound like a metal snare drum. And I'd say John. Goes you all you hear in your head or metal snare chrome so though sound like a metal snare the answer? But so you know at this. What's the what I guess it? All organically occurred. That sounds like it is the only way there was now as back on it. I should have had better plans but I didn't have any plans on. Just serve this kind of flying by the seat of my pants and we had a major from company at that point in time. Excuse me in two thousand. They were interested in What I was doing a building gums and so I thought we were GonNa do something with them. I'M NOT GONNA get into that Moore. It was it didn't it didn't pan out and I was kinda forced into a situation of like. Gee when now what are you going to do and we just kind of fun made it along. You know one day to the next than I mean I would literally build a drum set. My son was on tour and he was on lakeshore records than and to do a European tour so we built a drum set and he took it to Europe us. Leave it over there. We get any. We're getting more artist we're GONNA need. We're going to need back drums for on. Nari thinking about backline drums and don't even have ordered such. We're GONNA need it for our artist one of these days and he did and they don't and it stayed over there for years and years and years above we reach the point where we couldn't make the shells. Keller makes great shells. I don't have anything against their work at all. And back after US making gels I have more respect for what they what they have done over the years. But no one was making shells like they made them back in the forties fifties sixties and early seventies. And that was that was. Kinda my point of reference of of what I wanted to be able to produce as far as drum shells were concerned so it was imperative to get drum. Shell molds and here to Make drum shells thinking. Those sounds and not to make replica drums but there may drums.

Monetary Base Companion - 2019 Q3

"Going to keep this relatively quick. Hopefully I always say that. And then blabber about a lot of things that get on these tangents but The tweet storm the tweet thread. Recording this on the same day was released November Fifth Breath Twenty nineteen. And that's the that's the data that Always Sophie curious how this works. This is just a snapshot so All all of the supply data the inflation data comes from central banks as of the month before the quarter end before which is obviously September. Are Two thousand nineteen but we do have the FX data if anything has sort of changed the pricing data specifically for Bitcoin as has You know even the last month and for Bitcoin even this day so when you look at the table All the pricing data for Bitcoin will be as of November fifth and and all the percentage of sort of go from there obviously bitcoin's a bit more volatile more price action than most currencies So so that's how that's how it works. I'm going to go through as I said. Just a couple couple of the tweets couple of the charts and And then that'll be it You know we. We've said this a lot and I have to really say it every episode where we We review the monetary base update. But just to remind you The monetary base. We've been positing for pretty much. The entire existence of the show is the only money supply economically compares with Bitcoin. Why because the monetary base is the money supply? That is its own thing. There's no claim there's no third party. There's no visa. There's no mastercard. There's no check there's no there's no credit card. There's no debit card. The money supply. I that is the monetary base. It is its own thing. So golden silver represented that in the past silver more anciently than gold sort took over in the eighteenth nineteenth twentieth centuries and then During the course of the twentieth century wars and Bretton Woods awards and US The mighty dollar taking control of the Global System in the global financial system completely when Nixon's severed the gold supply Sorry Gold Window. Gold Redeem a window in August fifteenth. Nineteen seventy one The dollar took over completely and other Central banks thanks realized that they could make their own monetary basis float In many did from that point on there was no Connection to gold at all So from Nineteen seventy-one Global Fiat. That is called the monetary base. Where do we find it on the liability portion of the central bank's balance sheets That's is the money supply the compares with Bitcoin and then obviously You know forty years on from from nineteen seventy-one we have We have bitcoin being released so bitcoin itself is very unique Obviously very unique for financial world. But if you want to try to understand Dan you want to compare it. You WanNa look at. What's going on the monetary world? You need to look at credit cards debit cards. Checking accounts savings accounts announced time deposits. Those things are thank money and I'll have something to say about that in a second They're not state money. They're not not monetary monetary base. They're not money. That is its own thing. Absent of any claim That's that's that's the key difference between your checking account credit cards so on and so forth and and base money or the monetary base which. bitcoin is so we track it. We You know we're we're continuously expanding it right now we're at the top thirty Fiat currencies in the world top thirty floating Fiat currencies in the world. That's another another important distinction just to keep it all straight so the dollar the euro the yen the UN the Indian Rupee Gray pounds so on and so forth If you add up the top thirty floating currencies and then add up all of the other currencies that are pegged to those currencies. You get something. That's about ninety five percent of global. GDP eighty eighty percent of the global population. So it's not the whole world but it's pretty darn big economically and It can give us an idea idea of what we're talking about when we say that bitcoin these scale to be global money. It's a global monetary base. That is it. That's the money supply. All right what does it comprise and Fiat world. Two things primarily cash in coin which you know cashing corn in your wallet. You know everything that you take out of. ATM EVERY EVERY GROCERY STORE. If you make change all of the Physical cash currency is floating around the world dollars euros yen. The paper notes the coins as well. Even those are quite small token these days. The cash coin the value of that together is part of the monetary base. And then the other part. It's a bit more confusing. The other part is what you call commercial bank reserves and I always say this just to keep it simple Imagine you have your own bank account with your bank. Well every bank in the system in the world so it works today. They have an account with their central bank and that account it's called the master. Count the Reserve zurve account the Commercial Bank reserves if you aggregate them all up. It's that is the Commercial Bank reserve portion of the monetary base and. That's that's so there's physical and digital physical currency and digital currency and for a decades that split roughly eighty twenty That tweet Those two tweets are tweets eight and and nine You know the split was roughly eighty twenty physical to digital but then obviously the global financial crisis and the slide Central banks intervened much more pump liquidity into the system. And what that means is when they said what that means we say printing money that means literally adding adding By the stroke of Pan Stroke of a key adding thank reserves to central banks. And that's the monopoly power that they can do. Don't worry about necessarily even how they do it. They do it simply by buying assets maybe they buy bonds from banks maybe by something else from a bank but basically the Fed can automatically just swap swap. Whatever sort of asset a commercial bank is holding? Maybe it's a it's a it's a bond government bond doesn't have to be government bond they can also go directly To even other holders like the Bank of Japan they They buy equities can buy whatever they want and when they do that transaction They you you know it's it's it's their impetus it's that they're the sort of the starting points chicken and the egg thing they they are the ones that initiate that process they At the end of the day can add or subtract reserves to the bank account of all the banks In the world. That's how the that's the central banking system works so it's two components. It's that digital portion. The ledger portion that master count and then the other portion is physical currency physical cash and coin. I mean that literally they you know. They print and PLO around society it was eighty twenty and now It's something like Thirty five sixty five thirty five sixty five only thirty five percent physical sixty five percent digital Again we have to put I should say You know when when we compare all these different monetary basis you know get the Polish Lodhi We got the Mexican peso. ooh Indonesia rupiah we have the Indian rupee type Bhatt Argentine peso. He's all different currencies right different units of account so we need to put them into a standard unit. The county unit of comparison. Obviously there's only one choice in the world today for that the US dollar we could put it in euros. We we could convert all of those into euros but that Uh doesn't completely cut it The yours very strong currency. It's huge It's actually monetary basis bigger than than the dollar than the Fed's Fed's monetary base The survey's about three point four two trillion dollars the. US is three point two one as the last quarter so we could would put everything in euros but obviously just make sense with a unit of comparison. You've account to put it into dollars so when you when you look at all the different monetary bases as you convert them all to trillions then convert them all the dollars you get a number right now as of Q.. Three Twenty nineteen eighteen point eight four trillion eighteen dollars that is the global monetary base as. We calculated that. Is the money supply the compares to Bitcoin. Join now for those of you. That have been paying attention. You'll notice that's that's is going down slightly over over the past couple years about two years ago. Go In dollar terms the monetary base topped it was at its all-time high

The Latest on the Kashmir status

"We looked the heating tensions between two major u._s. Allies a nuclear armed nations india and pakistan. It all kicked off on monday. When the indian prime minister narendra modi announced that he was removing kashmir's special status from the indian constitution putting its autonomy in peril in an address to the nation today the indian prime minister doubled down saying that his actions would free cash of terrorism in a nutshell kashmir is a contentious piece of land split split mostly between india and pakistan and they have fought three wars over it already. The pakistani government is responding so far by suspending trade with its neighbor the and downgrading diplomatic relations as this tense standoff develops we have asked for indian officials to join us but they've so far declined and i'm joined now by pakistan's ambassador the to the united nations me lodhi ambassador. Thank you for joining us. Thank you for having me. How serious is this in the view of your government. I don't just mean politically for your government but regionally and what might do given the tension between your ought to nations christian. Let's i get the facts straight. How was this crisis triggered. It was triggered by illegal eagle annexation by the indian government off the state of jammu in kashmir which is an internationally recognized dispute in fact where i sit at the united the nation's it is a dispute that is functionally on the u._n. Security council agenda because there are a series of u._n. Security council resolutions that have of course on india to allow the people of jammu in kashmir to freely determine their destiny through a so the crisis is triggered by an illegal an illegitimate action by india and let's just get the rest of the facts straight. The facts are that there is a blanket curfew in occupy genuine cushman people. There are locked up. It's called a lock down which has entered its fourth david. Actually this has been a prolonged lockdown. These people have been deprived tribe of the liberty for seventy years or more now. They're going to be deprived of their identity because the action by the indian government what does it actually do. Ooh what it does is to also allow the indian government to bring about demographic changes in dublin kushner and therefore to really really threaten the identity of the kashmiri people as far as my government is concerned and my prime minister and my country's concern. We reject this move. We heard what prime hi mr moody said just a few hours ago and it was a dishonest deceitful and disingenuous justification of their action which has no basis in law and it's certainly flouts in flagrant violation. Security council has been ambassador. Let me ask you this. Let me ask because those are very very tough words. You're using you are the u._n. Ambassador you've just reminded us all how this is enshrined in international law given the dispute you should be resolved according to the international community so what is the united nations and the security council going to do about this so they taking it up well. I have been in meetings with top officials and i have reminded them of their responsibility. Pakistan has going to go to the security council. It is going to remind mind the security council and its members indeed all of the united nations of its responsibility and what is that responsibility that responsibility is to ensure and let me say to christiane for your viewers and important resolution. It's called resolution thirty eight of the security council and the paragraph two of that resolution says a country does not have the right to materially change the situation in cushman and that's precisely what the indian government it has done so my country wants a peaceful settlement of this issue. We've always called for a negotiated settlement which is an accordance with security council resolutions russians and in accordance with the wishes of the schmead people. Let's not forget the issue is about people it's about the people who have been deprived of their right to live the way they want to be governed the way they want to end today even pro indian politicians in in kashmir have been locked up so if prime minister narendra modi's says that this is in the interests of the jungle in kashmir people the question he has to answer is why do you have to lock up the entire state of genuine kashmir why because no cash media will accept what the indian government has done a we we we. We don't accept what the indian government has done. We checked it and we'll go to the council and we'll make all these points at the council and we will insist that the council implement its own resolutions because i think the choice right now is do we want to live in a rules-based world where international law supreme or do we want to live in a world which is ruled by the law of the jungle and this is what india has done it his floated international law and it has flouted security council resolutions. You mentioned lockdown and lock up. We've heard reports that opposition politicians in in jammu kashmir have been arrested and as you say landlines are down. The internet is down. Mobile phone is down very very difficult to get an idea of exactly what's happening on the ground there but i do want to ask you because the whole world knows that this piece of disputed land has been the cause of three wars between between your nations and today your army chief the the pakistani army chief said that the country would do all that's necessary go to any extent to support cash mary's and then the foreign minister said the pakistan is not looking to respond militarily so can i hear it from you. Do you think that there's is going to be a military solution to this or do you still have diplomatic intentions. No i mean we have said very clearly that all diplomatic diplomats and political options are on the table pakistan has no interest and no desire to escalate the situation. This is an escalation that was triggered by by an illegal and illegitimate act and we would like the international community now to stand up for principle for law for justice and to address the plight eight of the kashmiri people as i keep saying christiane. This is about people in that state in an occupied state an occupation that has been brutal india has moved additional troops into occupied jammu and kashmir why obviously to suppress the voice of the kashmiri people but one day the curfew will have have to end one day these restrictions will have to go and then the indian government will hear the voice of the kashmiri people and that voice will be to get get out of kashmir to leave kashmir and to reverse this illegal annexation but that's also gives rise to all sorts of worries because if they do protests as most people believe they will and some have suggested they will if and when this curfew is is is raised that also could trigger a response so let me ask you because obviously president trump has met president prime minister modi of india several times and he also just hosted prime minister imran khan oh prime minister at the white house and when they were talking president trump said that prime minister mody had mentioned. Maybe he into mediating in this. Let me just play what president trump said. I was with prime minister modi two weeks ago and we talked about this subject and he actually flea said. Would you like to be a mediator or arbitrator. I said

So you can confirm with confidence. Let's go higher at e-verify dot gov. Slash go to Nicaragua now where it has been nearly six months since political turmoil erupted protests against proposed changes to social security pensions morphed into a full-scale revolt against the government of President. Daniel Ortega the government recently declared protests illegal and how it is clamping down hard on anti-government activity, Maria Morton reports. I'm Sunday a new opposition coalition called the that Nacional swirly Blanco, the blue and white national unity gathered on the Camino Lorient in Managua for a March demand government reforms, calling for the government to return to the national dialogue. The group was relatively small as the repression against protests has been increasing. Still hundreds of heavily armed swat team forces showed up and drag protesters on the ground and shut them onto police trucks. As video taken at the event shows reports, say of these four dozen were arrested, many were well known, activists and civil society leaders. Meanwhile, at the Augusta, something airport to well known one human rights leaders, I, they steal and Lodhi Cunningham were pulled off their planes and detained by immigration authorities. Then he got on center for human rights reported Kostya was taken to the prison known as cheap book. They were many political prisoners are held. And were there have been reports of torture after being interrogated. Cunningham was allowed back on her flight, the political turmoil. The last six months has left the population and terror and its Konami and shambles. One that got, I want a small business owner is to scare to go to the protests and would only identify herself as CoCo for fear of retribution happening. Now, anybody who is opposing just by words, just expressing that they disagree with the government. They can be threatened and put in jail. They're organizing by neighborhoods to threaten people around. It's really tough. Now, the. Head of the organization of American states. We sound motto, condemned the repression, human rights groups, say at least three hundred and that got I once had been killed and many more injured, the majority by government forces since this country's political turbulence began on the eighteenth of April for NPR news.
