"Saying that you could one hundred percent get a tick tock viral. If you did one of these ones now I I have the talk. I don't really know what I'm watching when I watch it. I know that what is it. Somebody doesn't video and then everyone has to recreate the video. How do you start the video? Who STARTS IT? I just don't know the rules. There's a tick tock standard dance and it seems as most of the dances have to implement like some sort of start to it but Stugatz only guy on the show with Tik Tok on this phone outside of you. Chris and his his daughters seemed to be expert. Level talkers. So do you know any of the rules and regulations behind the no? No I mean I've watched them do. It seems like they're doing the same dance every single time. They do it they just want. They want followers and they want fame and they want celebrity. There may add so they are. They are leaning on me. Perhaps maybe you Mike at some point and maybe love. It's hard to come up with a tick tock that we could all do and have it go viral. That would require Dan coming to my house. I guess right I wouldn't do everything via Zoom I I guess at zoom stock is soaring right. Now it's unbelievable. I don't play well in in. I'm glad you mentioned that because as you know suits aware it action junkie need need action and I've turned more stock market. I've turned the stock market for my action in an entire weekend. Went piles like you know what? Let me reach out to my my broker. Who's WHO's WHO's my dad because I don't know how much like I don't know how to work tick Tock. I really don't understand the stock market. But I do my dad. Hey Zoom zoom stuff. You should get in on that. It was up twenty percent on Monday. Zum Big time. Yeah did you get yourself some zoom? I get myself some I have. I've been gave me as well Mike. We actually can have. I been doing that for a while to get through my bones zoom for a while. It's one of the few stocks that's actually gone up during this during this pandemic and I've also heard like Tele Doc. That's a service What Jim Cramer said to socks that will define twenty twenty s at like Taliban zoom? Okay Jim Cramer on zoom a little bit before you tell us feeling. I was feeling a little bit also Ma. Mcdonald's how about that stock tips with shipping container. What this has become with in a world without sports are you on Mickey. D's For real by the way zoom was up was up six point one six percent yesterday up a point. I mean I'm having a Field Day. I'm losing all my money and other places but zoom is GonNa take me right retirement man. I mean we're in the midst of the worst recession since the Great Depression as Zuma's McDonald's date it's like what we're GonNa box scores believable. It's a right now. The only local sports things to talk about is how this affects just like all. Your teams and certain teams are stepping up to the plate. Other teams have very difficult decisions For example one of the teams that have difficult. Decisions are Inter Miami because I mean they had zero revenue. They haven't had the chance actually. Welcome employs into Lockhart Stadium. So what exactly do they do? In baseball season. I Know Damn was very critical of the Miami marlins but since then they seem to be stepping up to the plate allowing for testing and supplies delivered to to marlins stadium. And obviously we know Stephen. Ross landed hardrock stadium. That's one of the larger testing sites. There is an estate if not be largest so micky arison I know is making some cruise ships available. I don't know exactly how philanthropic data's because maybe this is some way to recoup some of the money the cruise line industry is going to be absolutely savaged by this has been it's GonNa take a while for this segment. Go Away Right. Sue Guides think it's inherently human for all of us who admit like it's going to be some time before we work up the courage to go back onto a cruise ship considering the stigma around them. Right now I think so. Yeah at least I speak for myself and say yeah. I probably won't go and I've been on you know. Probably a half dozen cruises. I can safely say that I won't be on one for a while. Eventually I'll get over it and eventually I'll go on a cruise again but I guess in the in the immediate future here the next year or two. I probably will not be interesting. See LIKE WHEN. Are you going to start flying again like all this stuff is going to be interesting as to when you're gonNA start doing certain stuff again? I'm not? I'm not certain I trust at every airplane. I walk on this thing is over and they say hey. Go back to your normal routine. I'm not certain that these things are free of the corona virus and I'm not certain they've been cleaned correctly. Yeah I I I don't really know. I know there are certain people in politics that are more hopeful that hey we'll have a cutoff and we'll just get back to normal life and presumably sports or a part of that. I just just really don't see it like for example. We got into this a little bit yesterday at the end of the national shows gods and imagine the NBA comes back and one person and this is a highly contagious disease right and even some people most people that are getting in the NBA seemed to be symptomatic. Meaning no symptoms at all. But it's still highly contagious. And they could be the carrier of something that while it doesn't affect them could be absolutely harmful to someone else's health you come back with the NBA and this highly contagious disease is still out there. Even if you flat in the curve. According to the most aggressively hopeful timelines players are still going to be dropping out during crucial points of the seasons. Guys you gotTa think having to be quarantined for fourteen days. I don't think that fourteen day quarantine without a vaccine is just GonNa go away once we start getting back to normal life. I mean this could really just like ruined some teams and I understand. This is not important in the grand scheme of things. But you could certainly scenario in which the Milwaukee Bucks all of a sudden have three players test positive and they have to be quarantined for fourteen days. What do you do? Do you keep this season going or do you just say not. That's life it's why the discussions it's why. I'm getting tired of the NBA. And Adam Silver discussing this. I love the NBA. I would love to see the of the season finish but enough already like by the time we come back by the thing but it's time we get back to our normal routine. I'm with you might there too much. There's too much unknown. There's too much in the way of uncertainty. There's too much. There's too much doubt for any lead to finish their season. I'm not a good certain. Baseball should start their season until like August or September or just skip a season altogether but I am tired of these sports leagues talking about to piece together and trying to figure out when they're going to resume when they're going to start the only one in my opinion that has that has a shot that has a shot of getting full-season name is the NFL college football. And that's only because they start in September and I'm not even certainly should be playing those sports so to resume an NBA season to me. Seems Ludicrous to start a major league. Baseball season seems patently. Absurd you just going to have to wait. It's going to have to be day by day type thing and then I think people Mike. We were talking about concerns about people going on airplanes and go down crews yet. I think people are going to have concerns about being in large crowds. Go in the games I just do I really do. And so all of this conversation to me seems frivolous. It doesn't seem like we should be having it. Just wait and see what happens here. I.

"Passionate support there. I had a great time. Can't wait to see what the atmosphere is going to be like at Lockhart Stadium. Who should we talk to on the line? Billy let's talk to Erin. I liked Aaron Aaron from Memphis. You know Aaron. You're on the air now. Red But yellow iron. How are you? How's your weekend fantastic fantastic? How was Y'alls weekend you know? Pretty good Let's see other great great to hear great to hear all right. I've got a few topics and I'll let y'all choose which you'll want to go with all right In honor of the whole Madison Bumgarner roping cattle and whatnot athlete. Yeah Yeah what are other athletes? You could see having like an alter ego career to the sad I can tell you how can fix baseball. Or give me your three athletes or coaches that you'd most that you would choose to be stuck on a deserted island with you every time someone calls and says I have multiple topics. One of them is always. I can fix base. Why don't we each take a topic instead of all of us doing all the topics all right? I'll take baseball. Oh Man is going to do the island. Okay I'll do what the other one the other one Aaron Fixed Baseball for me. All right so you get a target score. Whatever it is right and instead of it being regular baseball scoring every time you like for instance via a single. That's one point you get a double. It's two points you get triple but three points and then obviously home run and walk. The Walk Turns in the one point so it keeps the game going and people aren't just trying to hit home runs every time. But what does the pitchers you're dealing? No one's getting the game just GonNa last forever can Can you like have like some sort of independent independent arbiter? That's like okay. We're GONNA start adjusting the game score. Now that we're are they're still innings any. They're still three obstinate. Any four-ball three-strikes all that good stuff. But it's just different way of scoring the game. All right I think you fix it next topic. They stay on a single day based back to the DUGOUT. I don't think there's more here. Okay keep going. Yeah what if they really not for third reach base? Then you just walk back to the Doug On. That's got your points. Yeah yeah that deserted island that needed more workshop. Call back tomorrow. We'll we'll pick tomorrow you. You coached players. They give you xactly. That's what they say so. It's three coaches or players or did it again. All right I would take Mike Leach and then this is a tough one. I was between Pagano and luck and I went chuck Pagano and then I picked Tim Tebow. And I'll tell you why because I figure if I'm in a deserted are on a deserted island I need people to keep morale high right so that's GonNa be the job Pagano Tibo. They're going to be keeping morale up while things are going on and then leeches just going to be there because I feel like he's really entertaining and he probably has survival skills. Yeah so those are my three. Yeah Aaron but he think yeah. That's those are going. I WOULD HAVE GONE. I I was going to go with Eddie. Oh like Eddie. Oh can every time he connects like a shark or that's a good one and chuck anyone else. It's just that one I would've gone and then I need somebody tall like Yoenis Balance. Unis or like he really has Get things from trees just like Travis? Okay yeah he wants to fight Travis. 'cause IT'S WEIRD T. Bo is about as good as you can do. For like a morale Do Yeah Tebas a great person because if you ever lose faith like his faith yeah we'll never waste old. He's going to be a great leader. Yeah I honestly think that he could survive a plane crash in the Southeast Asian waters and find himself he could survive castaway. The way that Tom Hanks no doubt there's a person on this planet I have faith in surviving a plane crash and finding himself on a deserted island. It has to be yeah. I think it's just built for a two pillow. You can do a lot of physical stuff just so thick and just strong and God. He's handsome he gets a haircut. Every day has to has to be done for sure for a monthly payment to his barber. Like hey.

"I believe is approaching thirty four so discounting the fact that there's no Oh stadium and there's no incentive for him to play in Fort Lauderdale like what's going on with the soil. When is this going to be done like these. Are reasonable questions assume oh no. Hey maybe maybe the best player in soccer might think this isn't optimal for me to come to the MLS when they can't figure out there's too messy agreed to come here that Lockhart would be so many people would be willing to travel to fill it up. Hold on hold on. It's not gonNA fill up anyway just because soccer's that they've done really well in terms terms of season ticket sales without any sort of infrastructure just yet. Here's what I will say. I understand where billy is coming from being dismissive missive Lockhart Stadium and why would he come to be in Fort Lauderdale. We don't know Jack. Shit about what that experience is going to be. It's not even built yet. We don't know what I understand understand that and you can have conversations and I'm sure if they're talking about any sort of future. They're giving him bloop a blueprint and and more details and we even even have outside of a three d graphic and probably freedom park as a part of that. It's probably more of a business play than anything else. I don't really think the stadium really matters as long as it's branded Inter Miami and he gets do business things here stateside through Adidas and getting to pick his club of choice down here in MLS. I think that's that's what's most important. It's really theater of the mind I mean. I just wonder if he's the best in the world why he'd come to an LS now when the stadium situation isn't done when he can do it later on like MLS will always be an option twenty-one not to it's twenty twenty one twenty twenty one. There's obviously going to be more details we would hope on Freedom Park and by then naturally. There's going to be an existing stadium in Fort Lauderdale. Even though it's I think I wonder how much of the stadium is being built off-site actually because if you're looking at yeah yeah but saying like we're four months away from twenty twenty stadiums don't take a year to build and they haven't even broken ground. Actually that's not true. MLS There's examples in Vancouver where stadiums were built offsite and imported in there were turned around within nine months. You'd think the stadium next to the airport will be built in nine. I'm not talking ever goes. I'm sorry I'm talking. Strictly Lock Arts they all but I'm saying if the plan the big the future is mls in Miami and the stadium. They haven't been broken ground yet right. That's so four months away. There's there's a soil xactly yeah. You're wondering why messy would WANNA come to. I'm wondering wondering why he'd want to come here with that. Being a situation that's debut. Here's about the market and you're acting like if they're playing in Fort. Lauderdale still not Miami like macy's not making money in Miami Massey's an international star. You don't think that he's making money in the US right now what matters I really think were you in particular is over blowing the idea of like freedom park being this massive draw compared to Fort Lauderdale. He's going to live wherever I know but why would you WanNa play in Fort Lauderdale in a smaller stadium as opposed to Barcelona with a big team in a bigger brand yeah but that's GonNa be that he's GonNa. He's GonNa have that drop off regardless where wherever he goes in MLS. It's like you say why would he want to do that. I don't know I don't know is saying this is the biggest drop off in terms of you're going from Barcelona to a stadium. That's really not your stadium but if you look look at all bunch of players like Beckham did it and now he can do this when it's set up is what I'm saying he doesn't need to do it. At thirty. Three Freedom Freedom even park isn't going to be this hundred thousand seat stadium. It's not even going to be comparable. The camp no like an inner. Miami yeah if he wants anything comparable honestly he should go to Atlanta united which plays the Falcons play and they get like sixty thousand people a game and it's on across the world in terms of club attendance. Atlan united is top ten across the world if people four and like the actual state of the art facility matter to him. I'd say go there. Why come to Fort Lauderdale playing Fort Lauderdale because it's branded in Miami now South American superstar. Why do it now now when he can do it when it's already set up and he doesn't have to go through all this stuff you guys. WanNa still be decent. Doesn't WANNA forty but wait a minute. He's GonNa WanNa get if you wanted to do this for money and business go to China because they'll throw all kinds of money at him with not China which is a lot different than south Florida okay but I'm saying MLS Miami. We'll always be option for messy will and not always okay even when he's like forty five so why would he do it at thirty three versus when he could do it at thirty seven when everything's already set out everything right because it's a great point. Barcelona is a bigger brand worldwide inner. Miami will be yes or no yes messy. Messy himself is a bigger brand than MLS. So why would he do it. At thirty wants to create his own lane in the belly saying there might be a few more stops before he exotic on down here look obviously obviously if he comes here. I'll get a few more intriguing stops along the way it's great it is great for Miami is great for MLS. It would be incredible. I'm just saying logically. Why would he do it with somebody. The mayor no the money that's being offered to him. It's reportedly big money. Money might be a draw marketing opportunities the fact that he actually just wants to be in south. Florida relationship with Beckham Plan right relationship with Beckham whose Adidas second-biggest athlete behind him and he's realizing I'm messy. I can create my own lane and you know how every guy comes over now wants to play in the galaxy because that's what Beckham did. He's starting then he's like. I want to go to a new team and start my own path and go to and build this team from the ground up and now hopefully he's thinking once. I go to Miami now. Maybe other people. I don't know why he wants to do it. In the summer of two thousand twenty one caney negotiate other free transfers and his contract because he has leverage bridge absolutely I can't speak to the motivation would billie is saying is the rational play. Wait till I can actually play in Miami and I'm still playing at a high level in which I'm considered a top five player in the world why not I can't speak to what is being put in front of him and what his motivations are but these are the reports coming out of reputable places in Barcelona that they're at least in conversations uh-huh and he's not really linked to any other clubs. Is that the norm though in soccer's lots on plane that well the age of thirty seven is that norm. There's nothing normal about slot on at at all in terms of blame welcome. MLS is not as good Lord tell you you will find this good if he played in the premier league whereas it's the same with messy like if messy comes here with dominant yeah zooming he dominated mls when he's thirty six years old yeah messy so dominating. Lita at his age right now so people people are aging we see in tennis all the time the elite soccer players are aging much better than they used to and MLS has a lot of Roddy Keane scored at a very a high level for La Galaxy well into his mid to late thirties so I I think Messi being the best talent single talent ever come into that league at the height Lonzo very nice player and that is absolute best. He was considered. Maybe top five in the world. There's a gulf between one and between the top two as we know and everybody else I think Messi would be spectacular ornelas obviously and you could probably be spectacular into his forties which actually to Billy's point is why not do it then to which I can't answer sir or maybe he will. That's exciting for Miami the fact that he might come here sooner. It's exciting for Miami. You're in these conversations but I I we're getting to the point where are a lot of people might take the stand said I think billy's just sort of there's a lot of talk and bluster. They don't have a stadium. There's poisonous soil at their at their stadium site there. They don't actually have a stadium. It might be prefab construction. Who knows the playing in Fort Lauderdale. There have been a lot of very public losses and just a lot of this BS. Es which is Louis Warez is interested ooh mess. He's interested. Who are they going to get Cavani or not and that's really all you have you have to put your faith and Beckham has a brand the relationships with Adidas and the fact that you live in one of the more beautiful places in the world. It's a messy aw I know we. WanNa get some callers here but I just want to get this report by Armando Saga about the dolphins when they drafted Minka last year you know I I don. I forget who was like nine. Eleven in that range reportedly Stephen Ross wanted to trade back and potentially get Lamar Jackson and Chris Greer said at the time he told Ross he was Chris Geer said I'm picking Fitzpatrick and if the owner wanted to fire him then he can fire him he told Ross I'm taking fitzpatrick and you can fire me. If you want to fire me really saying they could've traded up to get him also like their second round. Pick didn't eagle thirtieth or something I think like the last so the very end of the first strategy could've traded and got and both of them if they wanted to pick Minka then traded back and then gotten him at the end of the first round. Can you just turn around and like on a delay say okay. I'll fire are you now struggled to get onto the field of what Lamar Jackson Wakes up at number eleven that dre yeah. I just found it interesting because now the reports from this year's draft that greer was kind of giving way to floor is and kind of like you know being a team player saying you know more of a group conversation as as opposed to making it himself but then last year it just found it interesting that greer. It's like totally one eighty. Turn from all you can fire me. I'm taking me to anyone you want Florida's before we get get into college. I'm curious what you think what you guys think of what's happening with Minkah Fitzpatrick. He thought he played pretty well. Last year. He was a sure tackler was proved himself to be versatile and you saw that this this guy had potential and something happened camp with the new regime in which they realize or at least the thought is they realized this guy's not really good at anything. Yeah I mean I mean like last year. It was a strength that he could play anywhere on defense and now the reports are essence. He he plays everywhere okay. He's not really great anywhere and who knows man. It's early in this season. He looked bad on that one deep ball but he was going into one of the fastest dudes. They all look bad man yeah but that Brown dude is one of the fastest dudes in the league so it's like I mean who knows I guess. We'll figure it out with him. Did anyone overreacting and take them in fantasy because I put him on watchlist who how Hollywood Brown well. I think I have is available..

"You gotta do the cake tastes. I don't know any task probably have you done everything with her or has she gone, and like I had no interest in like linens. I'm like, go crazy. No. I whatever you I've been I've been I think involved. I don't know. I mean, I was involved in most things except the flowers of. No, I went to flowers did flowers, but that was early. Yeah. I staked my claim. I'll be like I'll be there for the tasting. And everything else we got a lot of the stuff out of the way kind of quickly. And then we had like a like a lull like a waiting period in which I'm like, oh, this is easy. And now it's kind of like things are ramping up again revving up. Something's no the ramping in rubbing. Yeah. I bought season tickets to a local team will I put a deposit a local teams. Wait. Let's guess who could it be inspired Panthers. No Marlins inspired by the wonderful ceremony at Lockhart stadium. Miami f c. I know that Miami f c my NFC's the other one, right? I went to Miami f c game against the New York somethings. A couple years ago playoff Cosmo's. That sounds right. No. And they it was like a playoff game. Miami of see games were really fun enough. I really have impacted you. Well, here's the thing. Now that we're on the soccer subject. I to say no, dude, I went to a US open Cup game for Miami. That's that's exactly the thing. There's too many cups and championships and this and that, and I don't know what that means. I don't know. It's like I accident we stumbled into the championship game and some random third fourth seventeenth bracket of this tournament in this league and that league, and it's like every game seems like it's a championship games or something it is incredibly confusing because across every league at least three different competitions or going on simultaneously. So how many different how do you know what you want to win? Well because you could accidentally win a championship season could be a failure. And you're the champion of something Chelsea's season last season by all accounts was a disaster all sorts of infighting..

"What I believe to be better comedy than if comedy writers had written this demolition at Lockhart stadium. Where five people are gathered in, you know, dressy close to usher in soccer in our area. A weed infested animal infested park that looks quarantined from far, and if you sent your small dog in there, it would get. It is this ceremony where these people will this work at all on the radio mic, or is this just a visual joke. Do we have the ability? They're so enthusiastic about this stadium. Demolition. And then what happens is that very slowly a crane takes a corner out of a ticket. And it's like the opposite of one of these loss Vegas casino implosion where you see dust everywhere. It's just a very slow moving crane after the hype man who is innocent has a microphone and bends down into a squat to deliver enthusiasm. A crane moves ever. So slowly slowly to bear to barely chip a ticket outlet, I think it might work. We're gonna roll on it. I think it might work for radio because there is a horn that goes off as soon as the ceremonial button. If I can describe it in a way that includes the radio to which that all that button triggers is I think a crane operator puts out a cigarette. And just moves a stick. I think we can hear the scratch of a crane on the top corner of a ticket boot that maybe a little bit of dust comes off initially. Why would they do this on a Wednesday morning? Like, this seems like something that if you did on a weekend, you'd get an actual crowd. You wanna crowd for what you just did enough of that? Have you not followed the Beckham soccer experience? This thing needs to be ready by next year. Like, they need to tear this down and build a new stadium by next year at the rate that that crane is operating like all of these people are gonna die of natural causes before they ever put on that uniform for that too. Honestly, couldn't waste a couple of days. To get to working media. Mike asked me a question during the break. And we've noticed this ESPN for a long time has been journalism company. Even though there's no J ESPN. The first word is entertainment, but we have some newspaper sensibilities, those newspaper sensibilities usually called for objectively and fairness, but you've seen fandom pollute the ESPN airwaves with just people who are fans of teams. Meantime is gonna join us at noon to talk about Dianne Williamson and article she wrote she is unopposed unapologetically crazy about celebrating the Seahawks has a tattoo on her arm. But Stephen a Smith is now torching. Torching. The seventy Sixers and Mike ask the question. I don't know the answer to it. Did Stephen pick the Sixers because this is what happens sometimes he and Bayless a lot. It happens with them where you make them look bad on television. They're gonna make you look worse on television back on April ninth of this year. Stephen predicted the Sixers will make the conference finals that may change a couple of times since then but on April ninth. I am telling you that Stephen a Smith said the Sixers on I will make it to the conference finals. Did he say something about Joel Embiid because he's also been really rough on him bead throughout this illness at embiid's had so Titi predict a big series for is it fair though because Embiid might beginning the wrath because Embiid has to be their best player in order for them to be Toronto. And there have been a couple of games that he's put out there amid gastric distress that are stinkers. I don't deserve any. I don't. I don't deserve that. I don't deserve. I don't deserve. Yeah..

"Fourth birthday to end Kate Iglesias happy birthday to him. I don't care. Good luck. We had him on one time. And we have never been more popular with screaming teenage girls. I gained so many Twitter followers that day, and it was amazing. Who is doing that right now for teenage O V T S BT 's biggest pop act in the world Cape. They they did the billboard awards. Recently were the musical guests on you. Guys aren't familiar with BTS? You should mention BTS all the time all the time. Did I do get one time on podcast booth on the episode description today when you tweet it out just make sure you tell everybody it's all about BTS, Mike Ryan just tweeted out what I believe to be comedic -ly something that you would see an arrested development or one of these smart comedy shows, except it's real it is the implosion of Lockhart stadium, and it is done slows so slowly, and so pathetically and the camera work is just impeccable because you're moving from five people in a ceremonial parking lot all excited about something blowing up, and then the next thing you see is a crane taking a corner out of a ticket booth. It is the single least impressive implosion that. I have ever seen is is so sad that you can't help. But find it fun. You have to watch it with the sound on Chris Wittingham tweeted out the video and Chris Wittingham as a future. As Matata for because it is just a wonderfully shot is I it is it looks like something that you would see for example, the television show berry on HBO. It's really smart really dark. Really funny. It looks like something they would do where you see the camera shot pan on a bunch of people being all excited about how they're going to blow up a stadium. And then a crane very slowly moves and just nix corner of a ticket noon. Scratchers foreigner. And not really it became very apparent that this demolitions going to take forever. Very meticulous. This crane is go about taking down the booth. It's as if they need that booth for something still they're gonna use it for something. They're remorseful regretful about about. Tearing it down. I want to ask you this questions to God's Brad. Stevens in the playoffs is what do you think is playoff record is fifty five games? What do you think has playoff record is? Because he's always getting credit for being a great coach. Paul Pierce said Boston was gonna win that series after one game. Because. When that happened to enter the component game. One people were confused by it, and because they hadn't seen that happen onto to compile being four for seventeen from the paint because they hadn't seen that. They gave Brad Stevens the credit for being smarter than booed and Holzer. So you would say what is the record of Brad Stevens in the playoffs. Wow. I mean, that's a good question. I'm gonna just strictly guess year. I would say twenty seven to twenty eight. That's correct. Oh, all my God. Very good. Excellent. There. I thought you were going to go with ten and twelve or something that didn't equal fifty five. But you got it. Exactly. Right. Totally neutering. My ability to go anywhere. So it is twenty seven and twenty eight I can't believe you got that just off the top of your, hats unfortunate. It was amazing the way that you did that what an amazing guests. You should play the lotto. So Brad Stevens, though, if we were to wander around we'll ask STAN Van Gundy this tomorrow who's the second best coach in the league. Because if we were to wander around asking people a lot of people would tell you that Brad Stevens because of what he did last year more with less. They didn't have any stars. They were somehow better last year. You thought Stu got Bill Simmons thought they were gonna win sixty seven games this year. Yeah. Do God's thought. They were going to be a great deal better because they were adding to what they had career having and Gordon Hayward. I thought they were the team the east that the best chance of knocking off the warriors. I mean, clearly I was wrong. But instead they are pretty clearly the worst team remaining in these playoffs..

"And also, I want you to describe what you're seeing for those who don't know what Lockhart stadium is how higher the weeds described the most disgusting things you're seeing. Okay. So the the most disgusting, by the way, the demolition has already gone on for not taking live on air. It's it's all ready gone. I I tweeted it out on my Twitter account. If you wanna check out the video of it for Nando Fiore led a pushing. Of a button that led to like a fragment of a ticket booth being taken off. But yeah, the honesty meal, right? Of course. So on the field itself, they are probably weeds that are tall as I am about six foot, even and it is just weeds that you could not possibly imagine. There are broken fences everywhere. There is a color of yellow that can only really be seen in places kicked by the sun. And or peed on for about fifty years. And it's just it's the kind of awfully you couldn't possibly describe. There's a media booth that I think if more than eight people were in there, it would completely crumble and fall to the ground. I mean, there could not be date fast enough that places level to the ground. Chris has there been any sort of discussion about the wildlife because you just look at that jungle that is the field at what was Lockhart stadium? And it looks like there has to be horrible things living in there. Yeah, I'm concerned for my faith, d-, frankly because the the. Quality of the playing surface is not what needs to be. Th they kept us far away enough from that playing surface that I'm not terribly concerned by animals earlier on in the proceedings. There was a fee that rested on my arm for about ten minutes without me, realizing it, but yeah, I don't think that they're terribly concerned about the throne. Although I would be in frankly, before I brought into full does I would've brought in a landscaping crew because it is truly a set to behold, whatever's do a match to be by seeing pictures of it on social media. It is even worse in person. There's a real buzz down there. Upset we appreciate Chris your contributions to the show. Thank you, sir. We appreciate the live reports in the actual report. All right. I will be here to get many vaccines. If you're leaving this place. Soccer. I think they should leave the weeds high get a real homefield advantage. Even the demolition of a soccer stadium. Sounds boring to me. I feel like you can't demolish something without a lot of dynamite. Right. Even though it's a flat surface. Like I'd blow up that grass with dynamite. Just fill the field at dynamite and blow up the grass. Right. What do you need lawnmower for like? It'd be raining snakes. Yeah. That feels like a proper demolition. I don't understand the snake nightmare, man. I really just never understood the glee people take in just publicly hating soccer, especially when confronted by someone that likes it. And I know Dan is coined the phrase phrase soccer's zealots, but is that really what you're running into like, my sport or else I wanted to like the sport. And just give it a thing I've been running into, and this is the same thing everyone else's in in the room is objecting to and I've always liked soccer. But what I object to is this conversation. I tell soccer person. I don't like the taste of broccoli. They tell me you don't understand the taste of Brooklyn. I say to them. Go bleep yourself. I understand that. But I used to not like the taste of broccoli either. And then after watching games and taking people's advice and doing what on the centrally doing you guys. Which is hey, what happened yesterday was an all-time sporting moment, maybe not for Americans. But it was an all tight Harnett in the street here. I heard that the bars explode because there are many foreigners around here. You could hear the sound. I wondered to myself, it's usually something you only here on football Sundays where you can hear all across the street people screaming because something happened, and it was in the middle of the day. So I'm like what the hell just happen. It's the same thing with hockey like as a lot of people who haven't watched hockey saying that they don't like hockey, but they watched last night's game. They'll probably get into the sport..

"Go kind of like a bagel, but with staff so just for those of you who weren't listening before the way, the everything's stat works, Dan is it's it's it's staff. That's universal in all sports. And what you do is. You just add up everything. And then that gives you a number and that gives you the value of the player. So for example, Chris Davis. His everything is like three thousand seven hundred and twenty two that includes strikeouts. Includes everything negative everything to focus on the pomono abbreviate recon ET, I'm looking for a positive stat in a positive world. Everything's that you want more of this. We're going to go to Chris Wittingham in a second. But Devon thank on Twitter says that Matt Campos released recently by the reds had posted a twenty four WRC plus through sixty two PA he had produced a negative. Zero point seven war. His ex w obey ranked last among hitters with twenty-five batted ball events. That's what you want. No, I want. What's Z T? I want an E V E R Y T H I N G. That's the only thing I care about all those other letters are nothing to me. So Chris Wittingham joins us now from LA carte stadium. From the jungle that is Lockhart stadium. He's in some shrubbery. I'm surprised that he has any cell phone reception described the scene out there for us as we try to resurrect soccer in a place that has been always a burial ground for soccer. The scene is tetanus. Dan is. All times of also diseases. Now, they they just are they're taking both those tickets right now that that is the extensive demolition that has begun. But yeah, they're they announced today that they're going to start demolition of Lockhart stadium. And thank God because it is an awful awful place. And and they will let place to the ground and a new stadium will rise with to ticket foods that replacing destroyed once at one time are they doing that? The Marlins have been destroying ticket booths for better part of your decades around here. What what time I wanna hear that explosion on air?.

"They're so like, I'm Chelsea sport on on the Chelsea app, you can put on like your GPS. And it'll tell you I was traveling. I was in Atlanta. And I was wondering where can I go to watch Chelsea game with other Chelsea fans, and it pulled up like the supporter club, and where they all meet up, and I walk into the bar and everybody's super friendly. You're wearing a Chelsea shirt. You have a super kind experience, and you all have this one. Thing in common. It's a beautiful thing. Soccer. It does more than any other sport. It just experience going to any sport any sporting event. No flirts y'all like each other until you know, you're too drunk and there's no Marlins bar in Saint Louis. There's no more orlands bar. But there's no more Orleans born my aunt there's a Steelers bar in Miami. I mean, probably a Buffalo Bills bar, and my okay understood and that stuff is cool. But what I'm saying with soccer, the community is just I guess more into it more passionate just because it's still like treated the way that it's treated on this hour by you guys. Get to watch a good soccer leg. Do you think your father would drive over from where he is to give us a live report on what's happening at at the d- weeding of Lockhart stadium. If we promised to like reach we'd all articles. He probably Chris Wittingham is out there right now. I can give them a call and see if like anything like a tiger is just run out from these weeds. All right. Let me give them a call so Mike if we applied soccer rules to the NFL. Are you telling me so the jets wanna game last year seventeen to nothing and then the next week? They lost fifteen to thirteen. Are you telling me if we did aggregate that is a win for mitt? How does this work? You did not hear me saying needed to get Chris Wittingham on the phone. So you decided decided to ask me away that it works is if it's the same opponent in front of like soccer if they played the dolphins, and it was a score. And then they played the dolphins that they wouldn't play them the next week. But if they played the dolphins again, I say, okay. Do you understand how cumulative work? Yeah. But it does it need to be back to back. So I take the combined jet dolphin scores. And that's okay. So I'm going to figure out who wanted to gain last year. And then redo. Got an after shot after two games if it's tied whoever scored more as the visitor wins. Okay. And if that's the same then goes through tie Brennan goes to overtime that second game. If it's tied with the away away, you get an overtime in neutral field because and then that skews the whole home road fig. That's he might look so angry. Yes, you play to over. Talladega. Because the team with the higher seed gets the second home game. That's like photons the dyers going into the regular season. What does that this is a Champions League game? Dan. We haven't kind you're doing this for the NFL. We haven't gotten your thoughts on the everything stat yet that we were discussing segments..

"Mets we dot com slash Dan donlevatar, Greg Cody of the Miami Herald is writing an article, and I'm reading it Maas Miami sold out Miami artists, Miami culture, and I'm reading MAs Miami sold out, and I'm reading about digital podcast network. And I'm reading about us. I'm like, this is our dreams come and truth. Still God's a thousand people come out, and we see the shipping container on on stage. And they're like Rockstars you and me both had tears in our eyes. We're like mom and dad of sentiment, and it's hard to get you to sentiment, man. That was a very emotional moment for us to see those guys. I'm telling you guys, you're on stage did and I were both crying. Are you guys aware of this crying? We're rocketdyne. Doc it out here. So. I thought they meant big they seize the donlevatar show with stugatz on the ticket or hey moss. Did you got? Hey, we do the cold opens. You should know that from the local hours you've sat in on your coming out on air. Yeah. No. I understand that how we don't play music in the local hour you've been here everyday. You should know this my bad sorry about that. Like moss sorta stepped in into it a little bit. He's claiming that he didn't call Dade parks cow pastures, and he said that he might have been hacked. He doesn't even know how to delete tweets, basically, this all stems from a lot of people in Miami who have been supporters of inter Miami. They have already they're strong supporters club. It's well documented as how difficult it has been for this club to get a stadium deal. They finally have the stadium deal at Melrose, golf course. But that's gonna take a few years to build. So this the club needs a temporary venue and they've settled in on Lockhart stadium. What a disaster. Yeah. What a disaster Laurie Lockhart stadium. It has a lot of baggage associated with it. Because we did this before Lockhart say has happened there that hasn't failed. Currently a jungle it is. It's not only a jungle. It's gonna you're not gonna get any of the Hispanics from Dade County to go there. None of them are going to go to Lockhart stadium to watch. I'm gonna go. I'm not happy about the. I'm not there's one. So here we go. We got one. It's really not one may. Yeah. It's really not that big of a commitment. Don't please don't take shot at my. Please. I mean, my dad was born in Cuba, come on. Well, let me have this a lot of people like me. We didn't take the Ruis off your name and change my name. Oh, yes. You did. I did not you changed it from Billy gear mo-. Okay. Let's go to billings almost define the Dan since we've been sidetracked. Let me address that real quick. I go professionally by Mike Ryan because I was a child actor and I went by Michael Ryan Ruis. And even though I couldn't really speak Spanish all that. Well, I couldn't book any English work. I b because people would just see my head shot and the name attached. And they would dismiss me out of hand. And then when I got into this industry, I'm not going to name names. But I remember the look on the face of someone in management when they found out my last name was Ruis. And I knew that I wouldn't have the job that I presently was holding had they had that information sooner. So you're welcome people because it was a guys like me that allowed for you to be going by your last name. Tmz broke the mold a little bit. You're real, Rosa Parks. Real Rosa apart. Hey, you're welcome. Everybody. Stadium. I'm not thrilled about this Beckham. If you saw the photos in front of that jungle, he's not thrilled about this happen. We don't have a somebody to do some grounds. Keeping why is like how is it possible that Lockhart is grown more weeds that are bigger than any I've seen anywhere in south Florida. I would you spend money on maintaining maintaining that place. Having a grand scheme Cheyenne lot of land would seem to have some value..

"The jarring photo of David Beckham, one of the world's most handsome men standing in front in place that he has no business being just so they can have the before. And after did you guys see what James corden did to him the other day with the with the Sachiko at the horrific statue? Actually, I don't know. I'm sort of lukewarm on James, Gordon. I feel like the statue looked better than stadium though. What did they do? What did they do the audience Guillermo to explain so James corden e host? Late night show on NBC or something. I don't know what channel it's on CBS, Alan. So he hosts like late night show. And he's the one that does the karaoke in the car stuff. But I guess he does other stuff too. So he had he had David Beckham. I guess in the league Alexey were in on this. They're going to reveal a statue to him. And it was just a horrendous statue like had extremely long limbs the face was like. Like jacked up like it looked. He looked kind of. Yeah. David's like sitting there like smile. Like fake, a smile and clap because he's being on over the statue. That's just intention tros, which is what they were doing with Lockhart stadium yesterday intentionally atrocious, ammo, it's great to have you back. You weren't feeling. Well, thank you. Now. Did you spend the entire day breaking down the Marlins Rosser opening days right around the corner. I actually spent a lot of time doing looks like tournament. Yes. That's right next week is our launch. We're not ready to announce our new voice because we all know that once we start playing our new voice Dan's going to do what he does every year, which has just changed his mind about the entire tournament. Well, here's the good news. Well, I guess it's not necessarily good news. But the tournament starts next Thursday and Friday and spoiler alert tans, and I didn't next Thursday and Friday, right? So by the time, Dan gets back. We'll be at least two rounds in and we should only have sixteen teams left. So at that point. I think he'd be like, Dan, we just gotta write it out. Man. Look, there's only sixteen teams left. We're good. So it won't be. We have an annual tradition around here. This is going really we have an annual tradition around here where we have it all done and then at the last. Minute. Someone doesn't like it. It's not always necessarily, Dan. But something happens where we need to then go back and re recorded and do it. And by the time, it's all said and done we've probably done the work of four or five tournaments because we've had so many people revolts things most of them only played one time if that and then at Tom Rinaldi wants voice entire tournament. And. I don't think that ever saw the light of day, and we already we already are ahead on it. And we already have like we had the person that we have voicing the tournament voice at tournament. And the and then we end -ticipant it. There's probably going to be a problem. So we had someone else go and the so we need to put that in today. And then next week. Once we start doing the previews, we'll have to find someone else voice it. So we got to be ready to go by Monday. And I'm guessing two segments into Monday. The whole thing's gonna get blown up and we're going to have to scramble. Yeah. But we have we next week. That's all right. So we got that. Guys. I have I have a take I think Zion should say in school for another year. But you what you came back last night. Look look hear me out. This is just a take for takes purpose. Everyone thinks that I'm serious about him. Playing right now. 'cause I've taken the stance that this is why we've gotten into sports guys. It's all Bs. Okay. I'm just doing radio. We we we have a show in which everyone's just like, you know, the system is broken these players pay pay them in pay the coaches and education. It's it's monotonous. It's it's white noise. Really, you need someone to be the foil. So I'm like, this is why we're in sports. He's going to be there for this is boys..

"What's in your wallet Capital One and who's excited for inter Fort Lauderdale, enter Fort Lauderdale, just like we all had it just replicating what we did with the fusion. How funny was that field? Looking like they kept the the seats and then it's like a jungle in. That's actually what the turfs get a look. That's what the pitch looks like a Chelsea's playing in Europa league. I'm a big Chelsea supporter. That's what happens when they go to like eastern Europe. And they have to play a team in Prague. That's what the pitch looks like they're gonna keep it that way. A lot of people are wondering how's this at all possible because they have to start playing next season. And they're not just gonna they're not going to refurbish Lockhart stadium. The reports are it's a total new stadium that they're building on that site. But it's been done before in Vancouver. They've done this before where they've built the stadium in four months. So nothing has really gone, right? Hopefully, they can get the same construction crew on the causeway that they have for Lockhart stadium. I mean, how bad by the way, we're all the other stadium tours that they took that they saw Jurassic Park. And like, yeah, that's where we wanna play. Well, this is obviously like everything with this club. It's like the last resort. Really? Everything's been on a shifted timeline. Everything's been delayed with. Club. They can't play at a hard rock stadium because Hardrock stadium acquired the tennis tournament. And the tennis tournament starts when the season starts, my guess is there will be a couple of. And this is totally unfounded. I haven't done any research on this. But I would think that in a Miami plays a handful of games at hard rock stadium through comma date. I think the demand is going to be such that they're going to play a handful of games whether it's against or Landau city and your geographical rival. I think they're gonna play a handful of games at hard rock. That's just my assumption. But they can't do it at the start of the season. You can't do more orlands ballpark because their season runs during the season. You can't do f-. I you which I was really that's one that I wanted the most year mo-, but the person that owns Miami of C owns that Sadie him, and he has a huge beef with MLS. So you're down to your last resort which is Lockhart stadium, which they'll repurpose to be their US L and in training facility going forward. Reconstructing that just to use it for two seasons or it'll be like their Davey for the dolphin. It'll be it'll be their headquarters and the dolphins are moving. But currently there currently like that'll be there. They're they're training grounds. That's where they're academy is going to be base out of they're going to have a US L club, which is a lower division soccer club, many MLS clubs have junior club in which they developed some of their talent in the lower levels, the good location in that. It's right off the highway like anybody you. Well, it's honestly you can get there in probably thirty minutes thirty five minutes. It's my initiate off the turnpike. My initial reaction was no not at not again, the Miami fusion failed because in large part due to they weren't in Miami. They were at Lockhart stadium but the MLS season. It's it's like college football. Okay. Miami hurricanes play on county line road there. They they don't even play in Miami Dade County really barely just barely make it up there. Once a week, if that, you know, and you know, they're gonna get you with the only way to secure your season tickets. The new stadium is to lock in the two seasons at Lockhart stadium. So I'm gonna I'm gonna be there. It's it's coming one way or another. They this Sadie needs to be ready by next year because it's fast approaching imagine being dropped in that stadium. The way it is now at night, nobody there terrifying. There's gotta be a full length and Kanda a grown and Akanda. That's just roaming that pitch. It looks horrified. As a funny thing Billy brought them that they they looked at that field. And they're like, Yep. This is it why couldn't they dress it up did they want did they want just they wanted..

"The want centerfield just shot over the wall and it was it was fun to be there to to see and in the sixties of course with the influx with the cubans in that time they really got involved with baseball and and it was very lively in the orioles were there then so you then you'd go off to palm beach and the rangers were beach and in those days it was such a small park that you could go into the bullpen and sit there can you get loose we need we need a right hander for the top of the eighth year serious i can remember in the early seventies going down to pop beach and you know you go out of the bullpen and sit there with them you know there's just so spring training isn't it was great then you go further up okay now you're leaving palm beach you go to fort lauderdale and that one was windy i never could understand why the yankees would train in fort lauderdale because it was it was in near lockhart stadium i remember that but it was so windy and that one was probably my least favorite of southern cal of southern florida players probably enjoyed all the girls there on spring break well and the minor leaguers would be in hollywood florida so close by so then you go up the coast and then you get to vero beach and you get to vero beach and of course vero beach was created from but holman used to work at eastern airlines and he had a little airstrip at vero beach from eastern airlines and got friendly with walter o'malley and o'malley would go hunting with them and then fly into beach and he said boy this old navy barracks that would be a good training spot you know and branch rickey molly created vero beach and they wanted it because of the segregation in south florida because players couldn't play golf they couldn't go out to eat so what they did was create like a little college dormitory where all the players stayed there they created a lake with fish in it they created a golf course and vero beach was a was the place where they would play but it had no grandstand so it was like going to big wreck you know small fence and that's it that was it so.

"Down team america chico bore and i feel sorry for this generation because they were kind of the law generation they were some good players there steve moyers ricky davis and they never got that chance to play in the world cup and that's what she got was another cosmo named richard sheena apu who was actually from trinidad and played for long island university really nice elegant player and he played for the trinidad national team and i couldn't believe hey i recognize them and then i was sure it was them and they're both mentioned in the book and i thought how weird is this like i've never been lockhart stadium in my life great little stadium by the way in full detail dale all those years yeah i'd seen it all those years ago on cosmos games and there i was and the and this chico boy in richardson apu and i i was going to i somehow became a fourteen year old and i was like two nervous to approach them and i was going to say hey you're funding remembered in my book that just came out today so if there by chance they ever hear this maybe they should open it because they were they were really good players and and yeah so that's my little cosmo's remembrance cosmos we wouldn't mind having on the show so earn an chico obviously the cosmos but also quite an adept player indoors with wichita wings etc and who also went onto a very solid indoor career of his own i think with the baltimore blast and i think maybe the cosmo's when they had their dalliance with indoor and stuff so we we love if you guys are listening by all means not only by the book indoor get another copy of the book now that is out in paperback but it's also get you on the show i think it'd be great.

"I think they were uh i was i think we now something like four thousand a game and i can tell you they even that may run the stance and i think also if he looks a record i think the first year we were i don't know what they fourteen and eighteen or something that you're would second united we were like seven and twenty five or something once right that's right and uh so you know so are the the the team must have very exciting there wasn't very much ambience and uh the the attendance was just woeful and i think you're correct i think we did bottom off the bus as a bomb latest what are tenants was in a and i always felt uh in spite of the fact that nuclear tv company i always felt that we had a handy kick by playing in atlanta fulton county stadium i read it would have been in a place like lockhart stadium hadn't fort lauderdale where we had enough ambience to where we kinda than the indoor indoor we kind of created at anfield we had that excitement and we could never have that spark in in atlanta fulton county stadium and i think he may be the biggest crowd of all three years i was there was general may fourteen 15000 and then of course was for pillai game was there any discussion of perhaps signing another location perhaps bobby died stadium obviously you got a team in atlanta now that is uh you know the part of the nfl thing but there you know this sylla saw crowds bobby data or was that a not a nonissue considering a turner's ownership with the braves and in its relationship good fulton county whoa whoa dixie can what's it would be in atlanta full coverage city when he was tough he was a tough sell and because he was he was in charge some cooperation production think which is really what we're we're we're he got the soccer team maroni said he thought umbrella that he was the promoter up so i mean i had to try to convince him to go somewhere slow and ironically hill last game we ever played off door a what i wish there was in the she was a twelve thousand seat stadium.
