Logano describes the Bristol Dirt styles

"Mondays bristol dirt winter. Joy llegado is on the seventh different winner. This season and this race win was a different style of racing. for sure. You know in the bottom. You can keep a straight in kind of go around. You know kind of like asphalt on the bottom up top. You've gotta have. The car pitched out running around. So you know you definitely two different styles of racing so And driving in the car. And so you're you're you're trying to hold off. Danny you're trying to save your tires for the long run And that was a pretty pretty tough challenge for a second and then Working cars at the end was also a challenge while and You know luckily we were able to get through Those cars and And fight them off on that final restart didn't want see. It lasts caution but You know the first team to be able to win on dirt in a cup series You know fifty years or so. That's something that that. I'm very proud of her proud of this team. Because this weekend coming into the week you just don't know where i said. That's the phrase of the week. I don't know coming into this and you didn't know what she had to work on your car. He didn't know how the race is going to play out. You don't know how their tracks change and it's just you know watching and studying and getting into dirt car for a few races and in volusia running a heat race here. We go so you all that kind of helped out and played out for us. It's joey's twenty-seventh career cup series win if you can believe it and rockets his team into the playoffs with that win.

"Give right here I don't. WanNa disappoint everybody but. I'm just gonNa cut to the chase. I told the fish is Nash last for it was taped. and. Of course I was told Lou take so they're possessed pommie all week thought. Now. There's But. I knew what the fish celebrity. True, it was going to be. So I've had a week. To get over it. And When I when I read yesterday that the, spoilers? Route. And then everybody was was arguing about whether they were real spoilers are not. Like man they actually did it. They actually did it so. I was prepared for this for seven days. So I watched it. I knew what was coming? And then that was it like if if I would have been watching this show live. If this would have been a live show. And they would had me sit through a one hour match only for a tie. I probably wouldn't even be able to do the show today but. I was prepared for it, and so I don't have the passion today I will say this I got a few things to say about this. I guess we can start with this yesterday when we were reviewing the shell. was going over the card. And I did not know the finish. I did not know the finish to resign, go and swerve Scott versus Llegado del Fantasma. But. I did predict on the show yesterday exactly what that finish was going to be. I said worst Scott is going to PIN FANTASMA Wide I predict that well, because it was the most preposterous thing that they could have done. It was a thing that the least amount of sense because if you call, they did this match on. TV A couple of weeks ago. And Tyler Breeze got pinned. So Tyler breeze gets pinned. Resemble mealy gets put into a tag team number one contenders match they win and then they go on to win the TAG team titles. It was ridiculous. But as I explain, they were extenuating circumstances they realized that they were losing. The take him champions and they had to get the belts off of them had already taped. So that's why that happened. Okay but. The Swerve Scott thing. Where Swerve Scott's team loses. This leads to him getting a title match for the singles. Title. He loses a title match. And then they booked the six men again and I was like well, of course, he's going to win because that's the most nonsensical and of course, that's exactly what happened. So yesterday on the board when people were talking about the spoilers idea go on there and I said. This this finish tonight is par for the course of late in annex. T. And it's true. I understand that this was a Tuesday show. It was a different day. And they felt that they needed to do something..

A VerySpatial Podcast

"Hello welcome to a very special podcast. I'm Jesse I'm sue and this is frank this weekend. We're talking to Dr Scott in the Wiki who is the lead. Rnd scientists over quantum spatial Some the work he's been doing But I of course we have a lot of newses to catch up on In fact there is no way we keep up because apparently everybody decided to release a press. Release this week. Yeah everybody my dog did too. Yeah I mean it's just ridiculous so these would be selected that yes these are. These are all right. We might and do to be more alert. Dogs is not any you know we it. It was more. It was not really spatial more than a spatial type of topic for spatial. Get off my lawn. But that's another. Yeah it was. It was spatial stuff but it wouldn't really the anyway. So let's get onto the news. First UP IS LLEGADO. Fcc Quagmire continues for the hundred twenty seventh year. At least. That's what feels like all right. So here's the latest and greatest update on this whole nonsense as we've been reporting last couple episodes. Fcc said Yep it's great go forward with it whole lot of people have come out of the woodwork. To Go on Jack it is not okay. Do not go forward. And there's been a formal petitions against the FCC to reverse decision to allow llegado to go forward this is based upon blocking the GPS. Now it's going to be the normal people you would expect the airline pilots association who have a big interest and GPS working correctly and accurately and not having anything messing it. Up Association Equipment Manufacturers Aviation Interests The radium corporation Lockheed Martin Trimble. I mean antibody has anything to do with. Gps saying no. This is a really really bad idea but the really compelling bit here that may make the FCC think twice a hope is thirty two US senators which is over half and indifference. Bipartisan It's it's under heads. Sorry it's not it's it's a third I'm sorry A third of US senators which is when it by half ballpark. A half is is on from each party. So that's a bipartisan Thing sorry I misspoke I postseason. This is why we don't do math in front of people that's right So anyway they've come out and said no this is probably a bad idea so hopefully the FCC takes this all under advisement and reverses its. I'm going to terrible decision to allow. Continue for it. I would really like the the only way this gets really properly. Fixed is if Congress does what Congress is not probably going to do given the current crises. That's going on. Is they need to make legislation about this and that would be very clear guidance. Fcc A WHAT WOULD. It wouldn't be allowed but until then we run into the situation where the FCC can contain to make decisions and reverse decisions were versus sessions. And it's just a nightmare and in another. Us government News items this week The Department of Commerce Has Actually issued new rules for a commercial. Remote sensing satellites the Satellite Systems And in this case removing a lot of restrictions and so a lot of the the changes and it's it's They had a couple of drafts out. the current set are much more streamlined and they are lifting restrictions on not everything But especially on systems and types of data that could be sold elsewhere so outside the United States. So the argument is that others can do it then A of those restrictions are removed. There's still going to be some restrictions And they actually are setting up a tier system the full set of rules when we actually started according to I had seen published out yet but Essentially there are a lot of other obligations related. To remote sensing is stuff that that have to be still met so Some restrictions are in place but Essentially if you've got a system that is Only producing a on enhanced data. That is the same as unenhanced. Data available from sources that don't have Or not under the jurisdiction of Department Congress in the US so foreign sources will be called Tier One and they're actually going to have lots of restrictions changed however there's tier two and three and that has to do with systems that don't actually have any competition necessarily outside. The United States are outside of commerce purview. Meaning they're like well. If you're still competition that that would you know hurt you then yes we could still regulate you And so some of the questions that came up with things. Sar Data Nighttime data I think certain types of infrared in and stuff that had been heavily restricted. And the other thing that's going to change is how long the restrictions when there are restrictions a can go for which I guess you The original two thousand six Regulations had Basically just said they stay until new regulations are legislation. Come along. I think the new set of rules actually has a time period. I think two to three years. Something like that where potential they can review those So if you want the full text sort of the full details There's a couple of links the show nuts to one of the articles that discuss this But I mean you know. There was a lot of excitement Around when this was announced but The full rule set still has some things that will restrict. It's not it's not. Let the wild west of by any means but A lot of that restriction that that was there at least for existing systems and systems that do sort of traditional stuff is now going to be a little bit easier to deal with.

The Pentagon wants to squash this 5G upstart

"You've got a fascinating tale here. A company that has faced a decades long battle to build this alternative wireless network told me a little bit about Llegado. Yes so Llegado is like a company of different name. It had a previous name before. But it's it basically is a company that is trying to build a five G. Network using spectrum that it already owns. That's really earmarked for satellite. So they WANNA use kind of like a meld their satellite network and build a terrestrial networks so that they can provide five G. services to big industrial types of companies like like the railway system. Or something like that to be able to to really get like banned capability out to places where you can't reach and then to really use Sort of like smart devices To to be able to connect to that network. There's a lot of hype a lot of interest in five years. So it's it's a little surprising that like one arm of the government is so up in arms against it and this is the Defense Department Why why are they so against Lagaras plan? So the reason why is the spectrum that Llegado is using is what's called the L. Band and that encompasses GPS spectrum so they the spectrum that they are proposing to use for their terrestrial network is literally right next to the GPS spectrum that That the Defense Department uses in really. Everybody uses So they're the Defense Department is saying that that they are worried about interference and that this would be a big problem for their applications right so the FCC has gone ahead at prove this And I know. Llegado has some some Backers rent but wh where are we right now with the SEC with the SEC approving this defense department has sort of wrapped up its opposition? So so where exactly are way? Are we in this in this battle? Yeah so I just want to step back real quick for a second and give you a little bit of history here so this the spectrum llegado dot is using is is next to to. Gps right and so that has been the issue that has really Been a problem for this company and its multiple incarnations over the last two decades right because a lot of folks who use. Gps have been worried about this interference. And there's been tons of back and forth for years and lots of studies done about the interference and so the company says it really cleared all that up But then the Defense Department is now saying like well. We're just not quite sure and we still think this is is a problem so you know after all these years of looking at this issue the FCC in April Decided to go ahead and grant permission for the company to repurpose it spectrum so they unanimously decided that like and looked at all the studies and said we think the interference issues have been taken care of and and we think this company can go forward whereas the Pentagon is saying but wait a minute. Wait a minute. We think that they're still an issue. So so right now. It's approved but the Pentagon is Is Raising questions. And they've gone to Congress to say you know if the FCC isn't going to revisit this issue we want you to do something. That's good point trying to figure out like what happens. Now since he has to has proved technically Llegado can go forward with this but what what steps does does it take. Congress to of step in and halt this process for this to happen really. What if the Defense Department wants to be successful? How does it actually go about stopping this move right so the FCC is really in charge of commercial spectrum use Annan government spectrum uses under a different agency MTA and so they said what the Defense Department is doing right now is they're appealing to? Ntia to ask them to convince the FCC to change his mind but pretty much. Everybody is in agreement that it would be very unlikely for the FCC to go back on. Its decision especially since it was this big unanimous decision in. They've studied the issue for so long

Dissecting the 2019 Version of 'The Lion King'

"Are here to talk about the twenty thousand nine hundred film the Lion King which is also one thousand nine hundred four film called the Lion King. This is a photo realistic digitally animated reimagining though not quite so creatively reimagined version of the lion king which is of course one of the Canonical Disney new golden teenage classics that has been remade in this series of remakes and boy. There are a lot of things to say about this film. They're not a lot of things to say about. The plot of this film because the plot is exactly the same as the original yes for the most part but Amanda. Let's start this conversation by talking about one thousand nine hundred four wow take take me back to Amanda Dobbins in one thousand nine hundred four entering a movie theater and experiencing the lion king so I would have been nine years old at the time of the release police and I'm trying to remember. I don't remember this actual theater day experience because again I was nine I don't know what are you going to say children children but I have probably seen seen this movie after the fact as much as any other Disney movie that I've seen and I think this soundtrack definitely became a part of my life. We have spent a lot of time on this five guys talking about how much I love Elton. John and I think this was my entry way into Elton on John. <hes> so I the music and those opening notes you make me emotional every single time and I think I'm trying to remember we were talking I went to they were released the lion king the nineteen ninety-four Lion King about ten years. There's an I actually went to see that in theaters which is strained. It's not something I normally do. I don't go in for that type of nostalgia usually but this became the central Disney tax for Amihai for a lot of other people in my generation I think because it's not about princess and it's not about a boy either I mean obviously there are male and female lions but it's just about animals. I think it's about more than just a love story which which is great it brings in a larger audience and I think probably both in terms of story musical achievement. I think it's the peak of the new golden era of Disney I would agree with you and I think that that has evolved over time. This up in this movie was obviously massive box office success. Yes it was later adapted Julie Taymor into a very successful Broadway adaptation. This new version is directed by Jon favreau. Who is one of the I think one of the signature blockbuster film makers of his era so you know this meaningful the movie the original movie was nominated for the two Academy Awards which actually feels quite low in retrospect this is before there was a best animated feature category was not needed for best original score and best original song for can you feel the love tonight? I definitely saw the lion king three or four times in the movie theater really and I was I think I was eleven when the film was released so maybe a little old but I also I think I was very I think Aladdin ensnared me and I got very excited about people like Robin Williams and so the <unk> Immonen Puma aspect the movie. I've done very appealing. I was not quite aware of the Shakespearean hamlet intonations or the biblical Joseph and Moses Story but at the same time I think that this movie is pitched a little older than say Aladdin for that the reason because there are those generational and canonical overtones in it's about fathers and sons and family what we leave behind and responsibility and larger issues. There's there are no oh princesses in this movie which I think is one of the other things to that is significantly different from so many of the classic Canonical Disney movies that we talk about this isn't Cinderella. This isn't sleeping beauty. This isn't even Aladdin in that respect. It's a very male movie. All of the main characters are very male and I wonder if as a kid I I was responding to that unconsciously somehow. I'm sure you were. I think it is also somehow it is very male but somehow feels like less masculine that a lot of I have been handed a lot of male focus. I've caught her throughout my life and especially as a kid and I do think that this opened up a little bit more than it is. Also there are female characters. Nala is not as developed as you might right like but at the end of the other lions you know they're lions can see yourself if you're going to see yourself in an animal. You're going to see yourself in an animal. There's kind of less gender stuff to work with. I'm glad we agree that. This is the peak of the Disney neo golden era the decision to remake. This movie is complex on the one hand. If you listen to our episode about alive and you know that there is really one reason why they're doing this which is money. These movies are making a lot of money. These live action remakes. Some of them are more successful than others. Yes I think Dumbo came out earlier this year and has already been forgotten. That was not very successful these from financial perspective I think creatively there's kind of some cool things in dumbo happening. It's Tim Burton applying his Tim burntness to the Disneyworld which is kind of a kick unto itself. We may look back on in ten years ago. That was interesting. I found beating the beast for example to be utterly dull and pointless and I thought Aladdin was strange and a little bit unnerving and a little bit sexual and why why are the only person person who's like let the genie have his life. Why not I want to be a human? That's part of being a human. Let's make this a sex positive podcast. Okay thank you. The Lion King is different from those movies. Those movies star the sex in this movie. There's there's has no sex in this movie and there's no humans in this movie at all and all those other movies all of these other live action remake Cinderella Kenneth Branagh Cinderella Stars a human being Willy James. The Lion King is completely digitally animated and there are some brilliant people I think chief among them Rob Llegado who is the sort of digital overseer of this whole film the person who has conceived a lot of this new has worked on a great many films Steven Spielberg and Maureen Scorsese in his widely considered one of the premier digital architects of the modern era of movies but there's something you know the the phrase the Uncanny valley has been used frequently in aggressive reviews of this movie because Sedna Valley and there's something unnerving about looking at real life photo realistic ish lions <hes> talking and singing and nuzzling and conquering <hes> the actual physical Ram like manifestation of this movie. How did you feel about it? I think I'm the only person who is really pro. I honestly it's like a nature documentary with Elton John Songs. I'm not mad. I do think I turn to you within ten minutes of this movie starting and was like we should be high right now. We shouldn't in a band because it was a professional experience in the middle of the day and it's important to have boundaries kids in that theater yes exactly so we made the right responsible decision but in terms of the attitude with which I would enjoy seeing this movie I thought it looked looked amazing and I I really do think that as a technical and visual achievement it's beautiful and there and I wanna say two things about that. One is in terms of the it's. It's competition and comparing it with all of the other effects that we have seen. I find it so strange that people don't seem to like this because we have sat through so much true visual garbage in the last two three five years so many blockbuster movies that we see look like trash and their garbled and there's so much C._G._i.. And that's I mean that is certainly true. I think of Superhero movies which I just have stopped taking into account visually because I've just give it up but also a lot of now that we're using more C._G._i.. And Action Movies and honestly just for location stuff so much stuff looks really bad all the time and you can tell that it's fake and I saw that this looked beautiful. I agree with you to an extent. I think that if you look at a lot of the early reviews of the film what you'll see is this kind of phrasing the lion king is an extraordinary breakthrough comma but and the but what is this is creatively dead end and I think you're what your feelings are. I remember this kind of conversation around Avatar. It feels very similar to the one that you're having right Avatar. which is that habit to see Avatar in theaters? I don't know if you saw it in theaters. I assume you did okay you like most humans saw. There is a blizzard in New York and I'd better my house for today's and I gotta go right so Avatar. I remember being completely blown away. I it was a very similar situation where I was not really thinking terribly hard about the world that James Cameron had created but I was inside side of the world and it's sort of movie that when you watch on television does not stand up in quite the same way but it has this ability to surround you an envelope you in what it has created which is from whole cloth the line this lion king. I think is somewhat similar. The problem is we know where the movies going the whole time and so if you are not stoned and you can't fully just appreciate the digital presentation it feels like you're on a road to nowhere and end. I like the I like the story of the Lion King a lot and there are things about this version of the lion king that I think are interesting in well done but I couldn't just help but feel like they stretched out something that I didn't need this moves thirty minutes longer longer than the original film I would say that the voice performances some of which are good most of which are less good than the original which is not what you want true they meet an interesting trace to <hes> interesting choice but I understand how it happens they spent all of their time on the visuals <hes> and it looks spectacular and they did not update this script they they seem to have extended the story little and I think they spent a lot of extra time. Is the the Hyena seen in the chase scenes. Which I think are pretty scary? Yes and I'm curious to see how kids handle they're going to be tougher for your old. I mean that was a little scary in the cartoon yeah because I mean and that's dealing with parent death and real serious stuff but this genuinely mainly frightening an immersive and so I thought that was a great achievement and I think that's where the time goes but they didn't update the actual scripts like there are still lines being said that were written for a children's cartoon soon version of these people and there is a difference between a an what if if is the non pejorative way of saying children's cartoon well how would you you're well but I'm trying to distinguish kind of the nineteen ninety four animation from the new enemy that is something that I wanna talk about a little later in this show but but there is a difference in presentation and style and it's two different types of art and they both require skill and artistry but you expect to different things to come out of the mouths of the nineteen ninety-four Lion and the photo realistic two thousand nine hundred nine no doubt the original film you go back and we watch it and last week on the Internet there was a twitter account that very predictably did a side by side of the ninety four version of the Lion King <hes>. I believe it was the performance of a Kuna Matata. I can't recall specifically which song it was. I think it was gonna Matata and then the new version of accoutrements auto and what you see in the animated version is this almost busby Berkeley. Ask musical execution. The characters are like whirling dervishes. They're doing flips. They're swinging from vines. They're not just walking through the jungle and in the new Kuna Matata it's just a warthog and Amir cat and a lion walking singing and that is just less visually dynamic and it's more difficult to do this sort of photo realistic digital animation that they've done but it's not as fun and the original Lion King is really fun and there's something intellectually absent from this in a way. It's like the in an attempt to be more real. They have lost sight of what was ultimately truly great about the movie. I think that is that is where my head is. I I think that's true. I don't think that this movie like does it to borrow sports metaphor that I barely understand like carried the baller cross the goal line if he will done that state football yes right they don't they don't get there but I I also watched that clip of the side by side and my first thought was wow I nine and was really young and I was at child when I saw this movie and this is a movie it is it does have childlike wonder and what I responded to in this New Lion King and you and I had this conversation after we saw it is it's like it's a different type of imagination. I mean here's my thing what if lions could talk that would be cool as shit if like lions could actually talk and you could just watch them have an actual shakespearian drama and it's not even amber narrating narrating it it's them actually talking and it looked as and it was real life and it looked beautiful and it was shot beautifully as this is that is more exciting to that type of imagination is more exciting to me than total made up worlds ads and total out of nothing fantasy things I just did the things were spinning reality and suddenly it's like these majestic creatures could speak to you. I I find that really exciting and I liked that approach to this movie i. I don't think they leaned into it fully enough. I'm going to ask you unanswerable question. Let's say that there was a movie in Twenty nineteen called the Lion King <hes> that was written designed executed in exactly the same way but the nineteen ninety-four version of the lion king did not exist and this was the first time you're seeing this movie <hes> this story. Do you think you would like it well because you typically do not like quote. Unquote Animated Films Right I. I don't like things that are for children because I'm a grownup and I know that that's like really hard for you to here. It's just unnecessarily. It's just it's just I'll bet you asked me unanswerable Kushner and I'm trying to be very honest if if I could sense and this movie so for children <hes> you know and so much of this stuff where they didn't make it they made it pretty scary but then they're still kind of the goofy numbers and they don't explore a lot of a lot. AWW questions number one. There's no sex had a lot of questions about like the demographics of a Lion Pride yes you there. There are larger political issues that they kind of leave on the table because you got it just like have a a little lion singing a song about you. Welcome to brainstorm a production of iheartradio. Hey brain stuff, learn vocal Bon here ever since Neil Armstrong. I set foot on the moon. Scientists have been toying with the idea of forming potential colonies, there and more recently on Mars to, but extreme fluctuating temperatures cosmic radiation, and micrometeorites showers colloquially known as space dust pose challenges to human excavation of both the moon and Mars, however, Astro biologists are in the process of exploring nifty geological structures the conservative natural shelter from these harsh elements lava tubes. So what are lava tubes? We spoke by Email with doctor Ricardo puzzle Abban of the department of geosciences at the university of pet ova. He's been at the forefront of European research on lava tubes. He explained lava tubes are caves that are carved by flowing lava, that eventually drained out leaving a subsurface void, although there are different types of lava tube formations, these caves often form out of a type of fluid basaltic lava that flows down a slope, like. The side of a volcano as the outermost portion of the hot lava flow comes in contact with the cold air, it cools rapidly forming a hardened crest, but liquid lava continues to flow like water in channel underneath this newly hardened surface. At some point that liquid lava runs out, and cools underneath the surface forming a curvy tube shaped structure, and thus Alava tube is born geologist. No lava tubes from volcanic areas in Hawaii, or Iceland, but they've also become a hot, commodity within the Astro biology community due to high resolution images, indicating that lava tubes may exist on the moon and Mars as well. Many sites thought to be lava tubes are detected by the presence of these curvy channels and more recently, the SETI institute announced the discovery of possible skylights or lava tube openings in a crater near the North Pole of moon using images obtained from Nasr's lunar reconnaissance orbiter, but lava tubes are tricky business. Scientific technology is still playing catch up and identifying these underground habitats, we also. Spoke by Email with Leonardo career of the remote sensing laboratory at the university of Trento. He said the main difficulty comes from the fact that lava tubes are centrally subsurface structures. Very few instruments are capable of performing direct measurements of underground structures. But careers team is working to modernize the technology and bus aid future human settlement of these lunar caves the technology involves using radar, which can detect lava tubes from orbit based on their unique electromagnetic signatures, basically, they can pro below the surface of the moon using low frequency electromagnetic waves, and then measure the reflected waves that come back to them. Those reflections offer insight into a lava tubes characteristics, like its shape size and composition. But one thing is clear lava tubes on the moon and Mars are invaluable is natural potential habitats, or at the very least could serve as convenient storage units between space missions. Meanwhile, back on earth, scientists are preparing for future missions to the moon and Mars through a little cave, diving the European Space Agency, developed a program called Penn Jia. The prepares European astronauts to explore other planets one of its projects concerns, a lava tube in Spain called corona that's eight kilometers long, or about five miles the team has undertaken advanced mapping of the tube to create three D model. That's attract down to the millimetre. They've also been testing out new robots or Rovers to identify how best to navigate these tubes. Developing a greater understanding of the challenges associated with incursions into lava tubes on other planets in the process. Other researchers have also taken an interest in exploring the microbiology of lava tubes by focusing their efforts on the lava beds, national monument in California, this project funded by the Canadian space agency is looking to explore lava tubes habitats of biker organisms, which may leave traces behind through certain minerals, and thus indicate the presence of life once upon a time, which is cool enough. On earth, but would be an amazing find on the moon or Mars. So what's the difference between lava tubes on earth in their lunar, and Martian counterparts? Well, gravity for one, the lower gravity on the moon and Mars seems to impact the size of lava tubes, significantly tubes on Mars can stretch for two hundred and fifty meters in width, or about eight hundred and twenty feet and tubes on the moon can reach a whopping Colombia, or more across that's about two thirds of a mile, the lower gravity. Also stabilizes, the roofs of these tubes and causes fewer collapses, especially on the moon, thereby creating a potentially safer dwelling for human habitation, but otherwise lava tubes on earth are fairly similar in composition and structure to those on the moon and Mars and serve as excellent reference points for researchers. The potential for lunar caves, and possible human settlements has many people excited even the White House is making a bid for moon colonies in the near future, and the possibility of answering whether life has existed or may still flourish in caves on Mars is a tantalizing one for space explorers. But if you're wondering whether or not martians will be found hanging around these lava tubes on the red planet, the answer is likely no, unless you count microbial critters radiation, a dry environment and frigid temperatures make the planet inhospitable to most forms of life while using ground Rovers to access lava tubes on the moon and Mars could be difficult due to surface conditions other devices are being developed to aid these explorations including climbing, and hopping pit bots and flying helicopter, like vehicles likes of which may appear Nasr's Mars twenty twenty Rover mission. "I think we made progress today, and I think that that's the important thing we need to take away from this race stage, two stage three we had Gaza. Could catch guys we we had a cars at St. together much longer during those restarts. When we would get go. When we had some great action to call in the top five to ten to twelve spots. It lasted the restart excitement lasted longer. And I think at the end of the day remember that the drivers went into this with the same kind of managing expectations that we went into it. They didn't know exactly how it was going to race out. Here. The test is the test. I don't ever take much from the test. Well, drivers are driving different their Foot's not in it. I'll I will plead guilty. I was thinking it was going to be more dramatic, especially right off the start. I thought we were going to see too wide five rows deep for fifteen laps that didn't happen. I didn't look really precisely any different than any other race. Whatever had here. No, they got they got single file. And we say this all the time. And Heather, I know you've heard this too. It's never going to be easy to pass the leader. The leaders always gonna have an advantage. I don't care what kind of car we. Race out here on any size racetrack. It's gonna be difficult to pass the leader. But that second third fourth fifth and sixth car out there today was a whole lot closer to that leader. Definitely I would agree with that. And I thought it was also interesting how Kurt Busch described being in clean air versus dirt air. He said it's like you're standing on a diving board leaning forward. So I found it very interesting. All right. Let's jump back downstairs Brent McMillan nothing. You caught up maybe with the happiest guy here at Vegas. Joy llegado got that great spy and his word a right now here in victory lane. Congratulations. This this works out perfectly Pennzoil on your suit Pennzoil here in victory lane. The sponsor could be happier could really work that well at a gray race car great partnership with Pennzoil and they they really made it clear to me. How important it was to see the Pennzoil car in victory lane here today. So to be able to make that happen for them. For our race team. Be more proud to be an area now during the closing laps. When your teammate is chasing you at some point. You had to be thinking I'll come on man, you're gonna win last week. You're in the playoffs. Just let me have one. That's not how race. Are you kidding me? I would never give up and I would never expect anyone else to give me a win. What fans come to watch. They come to watch a great race to the end. There's there's no given here. This is all about the going out there and get cheddar Fleiss or your race team in have Team Penske went to be more proud of that. What did you think of the way this package race today? I thought it was awesome. I shoot if you don't like that. I don't know. What else? What else you want? Man is intense racing for a very long green flag run aground like that. "So I think that's a crucial part of this whole thing as well. I don't know if it's momentum. I mean, the Fords are still really good. I mean, Joey llegado let one hundred laps Harvick led seventy six. I mean, these guy these guys kind of checked out for a little bit. I mean. They're all four Stewart Hoster in it. Joel Ghana still left in it. You got to Toyotas, and then the lone Chevy in chase Elliott. It's momentum. If he can actually build off of it. You can't build off it. He doesn't have the point that everyone else has he doesn't have all that extra stuff that everyone else has or does he well he's got plus these plus three on the cutline. Yeah. But I mean, it's gonna take some doing because that's going to be a dogfight overall for that the that lasts for that fourth spot. It's going to be. That's this is what I start giving a crap about racing again. Yeah. It will end. This is what we've talked about. So many times this season where we saw Kabushmeye win three races. In a we saw. Kevin Harvick win three races in a row. And whenever something like that happens. Everybody said, oh, the season's overseas hand the chamber chip which is just hand cheap. The big three the big three of the big three. We'll guess who would talk about in the playoffs. Not the big three. We talked about brag his Lasky in the first round. And even that like you just said didn't last more than another round. And now we're talking about chase Elliott and just as easily as kids Laskey went from the. Guy who looked like he had all the momentum in the world to being out that can happen to chase Elliott could happen to call Bush. It could happen to Kevin Harvick. Even I know that Bush Harvick they've got a big point lead and Martin tricks junior isn't that far behind but still I mean, we've said it so many times this year that it doesn't matter. What you've done earlier in the season. All the matters is what you're doing now. And I guess in that respect chase Elliott. You know, I guess he's got more momentum than anybody else. But like you said we saw with kids Laskey we can see the same exact thing happened in the round of aid where somebody else steps up could be Kurt Busch for all. We know, you know, somebody who you weren't expecting steps up. Eric Merola for that matter and next thing, you know, one of the other favorites is out. Yeah. And I mean. We're at the point now where it's it's the big three. And then everyone else I don't think because we haven't heard about the big three, which means we're bound to hear about them. Now. Yeah. Because we're going to a place like Phoenix where Kevin Harvick is aces, Texas. I mean, big big track, Texas, martinsville, whatever, but they have so many built up points, which goes to show that hey, maybe actually the stages matter a little bit only if you make it. I. I don't trust. Chase Elliott though as much momentum as he has. I don't trust them. It was so weird. I was watching the the shows watching. They had. Oh, gosh. Kim. Remember, they Michael Waltrip. They had Larry mcreynolds and a couple of other guys. Maybe Reverend I can't even remember who the had and all these guys were so hot on. Chase elliott. All I was thinking was. Yeah, I get it. But at the same time, you've got some really big named drivers that have been good all year long that you've got to watch out for as well. I don't think it's necessarily a like ticket automatically punch for chase Elliott and homestead right now. Just because he won a couple of races know, only it's only punched if he wins this weekend or the next weekend or the weekend after that. Like, I don't have. There's no guarantees for him. Especially with a guy like Clint Bowyer behind especially with a guy like Joe the gun up behind them. I'm less inclined to think Kurt Busch, and Eric Merola will do thing. But I think at the point now, I think. The chase Elliott really is in no-man's-land. That's not enough of a cushion now. Yeah. We'll talk about the standings just second. And the drives that got cut real quick segment winners. Joy Lagaan Winston. I one. Kevin Harvick wins the second. One..

"That game can be a game can be early it could be midway it can be late but there's always one game that kind of changes you know to change the mindset and i really believe tonight's game might have done that for us i think he said a mouthful there because one i think he's saying he's kinda sub tweeting your point about we're gonna play jose wrong i think that's something they're going gonna take away from this game but my larger point is and i said this yesterday and i want to go back to it or i said it earlier in the week this going to under larry drew and if they win two more games without tyron lou and they've massage the lineup and playing just slightly different would hold a called her on in the of i think it could potentially complicate tyron lose return to the bitch and again i don't wanna be insensitive to the health issues look i've known tyrod loosens he was a seventeen year old kid in kansas city wishing nothing but success but i saw this happened with the coast with bruce arians when he took over because trump will gano had cancer and i said look you know what the coast need to make a really tough decision here bruce arians as coach of the year he's click with andrew luck they got an offense minded coach with this franchise quarterback you gotta make the tough call and move on from chuck llegado and i didn't mean to be insensitive and all that but again sports i it's it's it's a hard core business and there's tough decisions to be made and if.
