"One extremism expert said the magga writer's bonding experience is likely to only further their radicalization Added to this the maga writers being held the facility are the ones the judge judges deemed too dangerous to let out including Proud Boys oath keepers The ones that violently assaulted cops but they're being allowed to hang out together in further radicals First of all I'd like to say I'd like to reconsider closing Guantanamo Right For the first time I see a need for it Second here's the thing I know first of all these people can not write a whole newsletter Okay let's be clear That's a gamp lit at most At best That's a one sheet flyer spelled wrong We all know it Nobody's literate Second there is no way The reason they're hanging out together 'cause nobody else wants to hang out with them Did speaking of terrorists did you see Marjorie Taylor green go ape chisel on the floor of the House at Jamie Raskin and Liz Cheney demanding that the how come they haven't looked at Black Lives Matter protesters Did you see Yeah when Marjorie we both have like mini strokes when she speaks I know Like it's dangerous to our health Why is she why must she make us defend Liz Cheney Oh God Okay Liz Cheney Yesterday My colleague from Ohio mister Jordan Who just suggested that we were here because we opposed president Trump's policies It seems to have forgotten that actually on January 6th he himself said quote what happened today is wrong And is not what America is about The next day mister Jordan said what happened Wednesday is a tragedy Everyone knows it's as wrong as wrong can be And today madam speaker the former president suggested that the violence was justified Please the worst thing that this Republican Party has done to me is make me root for please change Please listen Go on Lose my colleagues In the Republican Party the Republican members of this body have to understand have to recognize that there is a moment when politics must stop if we want to defend and protect our institutions A violent assault on the capital to stop a constitutional process of counting electoral votes is that moment They all knew that on that day in fact the minority leader himself stood in this chamber and said quote the president bears responsibility for Wednesday's attack on Congress by mob rioters He should have immediately denounced the mob when he saw what was unfolding Francia As I keep saying she's our velociraptor now Like she's almost going to it right More directly than anybody there She's you know what it is weird Yes What her back by the way somebody by remember to electrify the fence before friends when I get in that little Jeep and get back to safety I don't know who's letting him lose Make sure fences electrified That's right I'm sleeping with one eye open when Liz Cheney Yeah but I'm grateful for that I'm grateful that she's on our team for this Yeah Because you know what She's got it I am Yeah Yeah I mean she just voted against voting rights but sure I mean it is extraordinary time we're in Yeah Isn't it I mean they have got to carve do a carve out for at least the filibuster on voting rights Are you at all hopeful I mean the president spoke out Everybody's been asking he spoke out for it yesterday What should we have to do And I really do believe and I agree with this proposal It's time to stop being tactical and strategic and start to decide it's time to start being legislators I believe they should bring this vote They should bring these votes to the house every day Make mansion make cinema make all these people vote against it every day Yeah Keep the pressure up because that is why the reason the President Biden is starting to say stuff is because all of you people listening and all of us here on aggressives and liberals and Democrats we have all been pushing We've got to keep pushing because they have to change this Yeah And by the way again we call as Joe Manchin would say he's not leaving He wouldn't even win a Republican primary in West Virginia Here's some cinema's ratings have plummeted veterans have just left her advisory committee and wrote a scathing letter Keep up the pressure on these people right Because this is not benefiting them either Make them feel the pain that the rest of us feel they will come around This is the thing They will if they have no place else to go And by not bringing up the vote everybody's giving them this cover as if there's negotiation going on There's no negotiation going on They won't even say she won't even say anything that she doesn't like or anything that she wants Yes They're just using it for attention And you're like everybody's acting like so most people think oh there's some kind of negotiations and people aren't being the progressives are being too hard or they won't compromise And that's not what's happening Yeah Well yeah We think yesterday some reporters when cinema was getting at our car said do you have a comment on anything Anything Yeah I say we got to make them all into Richard Gere in officer and a gentleman They've got to be spitting and sweating And I want to quit I know my question Okay I'm just saying we need Luke gossett junior That's what we need I don't know something Yes 21 minutes after the hour this portion of the show Screwed up a movie reference going right into the break This portion of Stacey Lennox: Democrats Are Already Crafting Their Excuse to Losing in the Midterms
"Anyway how do you know that Democrats think they will lose the House majority in the midterm she writes Because they are already crafting the excuse And they have Stacey Abrams who cause lies about her race in Georgia but that's okay She's allowed to deny an election What do you think about that Liz I bet Liz Cheney is no problem at all But about Benny Benny Johnson the chairman of the committee is he concerned about that No not in the least it's Benny Everyone knows Benny Once again Abrams was confident she could be the governor of Georgia and would have been if not for voter suppression of course Then the Senate majority leader such as he is schmuck E Chuck E. Schumer brought S 27 47 also known as the freedom to vote act up for a cloture vote Republicans filibustered the bill unanimously voting against it Because they're obviously all white supremacist who support Jim Crow I want you to listen to this The bill is senator Joe Manchin so called compromise bill to replace the for the people act When you hear it as a compromise bill you may assume Republicans were on board according to Jason sneed executive director the honest elections project mansions only compromises were between the left and the radical left Just like HR one this bill overrides state voter ID requirements Bans election integrity measures for absentee voting makes it harder for states to maintain updated accurate voter registration roles This is the mansion you see the moderate compromise I don't trust this guy mansion I don't trust this guy

Rep. Steube Presses AG Garland on Insurrection at Interior Department by Leftist Rioters
"Greg stubby Republican Florida was outstanding today Absolutely outstanding And again this right that we saw the interior department which again we were the first to point out Not the first to discover but to make a national issue Well it didn't really become a national issue because the media didn't give a damn about it Why Because these were no growth anti capitalist marxists who were riding I don't believe Liz Cheney's mention this Liz Cheney is caught in her own sort of stalinist box right now Trump that's why Trump banning their jail Bannon Bannon Liz wake up down now anyway cut ten go You went on to describe January 6th and I quote as an assault on a mainstay of our democratic system You have said that prosecuting extremist attacks on our democratic institution remains central to the mission of the Department of Justice So suffice it to say it's clear that you feel very strongly about using the full force of your position to prosecute those involved in the January 6th protests What is not clear however is if you will use the same force against violent left wing domestic terrorists Just last week on October 14th a group of extremist environmental and indigenous protesters forced their way into the department of interior They fought with an injured security and police officers sending some of those officers to the hospital The extremists violently pushed their way into a restricted government building in an attempt to thwart the work of the department of interior Police arrested at least 55 protesters on site but others got away Mister Garland do you believe that these environmental extremists who forced their way into the department of interior are also domestic terrorists

have Oh cut three Thanks so much Yes we both called it third base coach audible All right Got it Okay I would remind all members that guidance from the office of attending physicians face at face coverings are required for all meetings and in closed space such as committee hearings except when you recognize to speak And that means you Jim and Marjorie and Matt that was like that was like sister Dorothy Yeah I mean our disciplinarian It wasn't even mister George Is there teeth behind that though Can they I mean if they don't comply Can they be making the vinyl Listen why can't we employ things from our childhood Why can't we have a board of education that they get smacked with when they're dealt with being mask holes Where do we put united pilots in charge of Congress I say roping for Marjorie Taylor green from your childhood and something from did you go to you don't go to Catholics For a year Yes That's right Yes the board of education I think it was Luke Remember sister Lucas Yes she was the principal Right Who's worked under the true Charles Bronson She had the two paddles one with the holes and one without the holes Yes I'm going to say speaker Pelosi might be familiar with the board of education Yes Okay So just smack the bejesus out of your you know why we can't spank them Because you got rid of spanking I did Yes You're the one who doesn't want spanking On my private life What You want to be spanked like a naughty girl Lightly lovingly Okay let's move on It's a long time Who are you By someone doing an Al Pacino record Someone in Madison find this woman in spanker this weekend Somebody help me Check my moles Okay And then spanker from all that Change my bath water mummy at an accident I wouldn't go for what Okay We keep getting far afield of the discussion What was I talking I have no idea Oh my retail agreement Drama on the floor developed when Margaret Taylor Greene confronted Jamie Raskin Liz Cheney as the house was voting on criminal contempt of Steve Bannon the conversation devolved to Jewish space lasers And Marjorie three toes accusing Raskin of not investigating the violence of Black Lives Matter protests Largely peaceful except for right wing tiers like umbrella man and the guy that fired into the police station Do you remember the Black Lives Matter protests when they break into the halls of Congress and they took over the floor of the House and the Senate and they threatened the lives of vice president Pence and you fell down on the job you totally missed me saying provocative 'cause I'm talking You know what I'm tired I'm tired too I don't correct every little thing Well that's true That would be a whole other show Yeah Okay Yes Cheney responded to green by saying she was a joke and referred to a previous green comment about Jewish space lasers fight fight fight You're all awful in different ways Liz we like you on this but you're awful on everything else including voting rights Big bag of rats fight fight Biden I mean she almost went velociraptor on Marjorie Taylor green yesterday She screamed I never said that You've done your joke list Yeah Joe And Liz Cheney went Yeah Okay Raskin said she started screaming at Liz What she said to me is when are you gonna do the investigation of the violence surrounding Black Lives Matter And I said you mean like Kyle rittenhouse who went and killed two black lives Protesters I'm sure there will be an opportunity for her to do that And then as you know it degenerated from there as you can imagine Yes Booth didn't get final words Don't mess with the glosser after I'm just saying Wait do we have sound on this too I had time to look Smarties traveled So she was complaining on the Steve Bannon podcast which is apparently where they go now to complain down in 17 Who's also about to be convicted of there's Matt Gates who's about to go on the pokey child sex trafficking and okay Steve Bannon who's about to go in jail for contempt and okay where is this A 17 Okay All right Thank you And I had just had it listening to them why over and over again at it Accusing you of organizing the January 6th riot Nothing to do with it You weren't even there You didn't cause it You did not plan it And everyone knows the truth about that but they completely lied about you They lied about president Trump and I was discussed in furious So I yelled at them on the House floor I let Liz Cheney habit I let Adam Schiff have it and I let Raskin have it I couldn't contain myself And I said you people are a joke Yeah Well you know what If you can't contain yourself you shouldn't be in Congress Yeah Will you take a break from stalking AOC She's just a ridiculous performance artist Yeah She has no self control of any kind She is I can't even remember the first 6 things she should have been kicked out of Congress for But I mean right threats of violence against members of the squad What was the ad with I don't even remember now Target over whether it was Pelosi or the squad Seriously She's grace Hearing she showed up and was sitting right behind him without a mask on the entire time That's why Nadler scold her 'cause she's not on any committee She stood up to be a little Steve Yeah exactly.

The Ruling Class Is Demoralized
"The ruling class is getting demoralized. They thought the implementation of Biden. Let me say that again. Not the election, but the implementation it was the most interfered with election, an American history, $400 million from Mark Zuckerberg, from the center for technology and civic life. The interference from big media and tech companies into our last election Biden was implemented. They also thought that their posture and the authoritarian turn post January 6 would result in conservatives and just regular Americans backing down. They thought that we would be giving up that we would be suing for peace. Instead, conservatives have more energy, more activism more resolve than ever before. You see the leaders of this slow motion revolution that we are living through. Envisioned a much different state of affairs. They envisioned conservatives, not showing up to school board meetings in massive numbers, but instead, trying to do some soul searching and looking for Liz Cheney or Mitt Romney to lead our party. They envisioned conservatives doing what we did after John McCain lost in 2008, which was let's go to the middle. Let's try to become more moderate. Now there was a temporary moment when the Tea Party rose up, but the Tea Party was squashed by both establishment Republicans and the media. In a variety of different ways. You see the ruling class right now, they are losing faith in their own project. The ruling class is realizing that this is not like storming the Bastille. You have to keep on winning

Will We Be Able to Trust Trump's Personnel in 2024?
"Had traitorous literally traitorous seditionists in the building at ranks above. My rank was a deputy to the president. We had chiefs of staff like john kelly. It's it's disgusting that he was a marine. But we have people like john. Kelly vincent and others who are actively sabotaging president trump. It is my contention and we're not going to mention names. Hits a little bit too early for that that president trump is already surrounded or still surrounded by some of the wrong people who gave him bad advice and are just there for the money and selfish reasons during the last four years talk to our millions of listeners. Liz what can we do about that in. A how confident are you that we will have a trust worthy america first bench if we can stop the fraud and he wins again and he gets a second term so i think he openly admits the when he's asked you know what's the best thing you did was the worst and he says personnel some not very. Yeah and i think in i think he he knows that and There were some good ones too though. We gotta remember that. But for the record the fact that he achieved what he adjacent with members of his cabinet working against him. Truly i mean you know you you you thank the good lord every night but we can't do that again this right and honestly so some of these people though you at least they had me fooled some of these people swamp i mean it you had no idea and the one good thing. There's not many the silver lining about what happened in. November is kind of a dividing and people came out of the woodwork. Yeah really exposed people's true colors and what they actually believe and if they don't actually believe in it so i think that's benefit shaw. And now we can. Just ask be point late. Like joe biden get eighty one million votes. Yeah

They don't understand what really happened in. Two thousand sixteen My friend my former colleague. General flynn coordinate peaceful revolution. What is your understanding of. Why for the first time in american history. We elected a president. Who wasn't a retired. General wasn't a politician. Because that that's a very you know that sixty four million people saying stop. We're not doing what we've done for two centuries plus what how do you explain what what is the significance of two thousand sixteen. Oh it's it's huge. What's destroying our country and now attitude of. Oh we'll just the way we've been doing it well. And what happened in two thousand sixteen because it was supposed to be bush versus clinton right it was gonna be. Oh this is the fight that the media wants. You had to earn their trust and and also kind of understand where they're coming from. Yeah now that that's right and that's that's right It was definitely. There is definitely a choreography to the characters are all real. Names have been changed. But they're all real young men at the time they instantly become players in this story and the main guy right off the bat. As leon. And i know you'll talk with me about him. I think the point that. I take away a lot of takeaways here. Liz is you can't pigeonhole people even people who are young and seemed to be stereotypically in that group. You can't really pigeonhole them. They are complex. You can but shan right or you can but people do exactly. Let's talk about some of the characters that stood. Leon being the most prominent your first encounter with leon was what So i had met him I had a. I had met him at a party. for for jerry that jones jerry's wife threw him Belatedly his seventieth birthday party that she had Postponed his seventieth. Birthday was the february after. "Yes Kamala Harris when she was running as a candidate for the 2020 election had made a comment on stage that the gun violence is a national health crisis And immediately I thought she's going after the Second Amendment So now we get COVID and that's everything is under the auspices of we have the health crisis So we have to mandate this and that and the other thing and I just feel that here's the problem when they take a piece attorney It takes when they drag us through a piece attorney it creates precedent for the next and the next is a ratchet it up and ratchet it up and ratchet it up So everything's on the table We don't have a rule of law the constitution is no consequence There is double justice You know we're going to go after January 6th but of course Liz Cheney says absolutely nothing about BLM and antifa And all the violence and all the rest that took place there because she's a nut She's become a

Democrats Do Not Know How to Deal With Adversity
"They have a lot going for them. One thing they do not know how to do is they do not know how to deal with adversity. This regime that is currently running our country. They struggle with opposition. This is one of the reasons why i am trying to get conservatives to mount a counter-offensive against what this regime is doing. They are far more fragile than i think. People realize that they are not able to deal with criticism confrontation when they get into a state of confusion. All of a sudden they start fighting amongst themselves. This is why a unified conservative movement and ignoring people like liz. Cheney and adam kin zinger is so critically important cut fourteen is a cut from. Msnbc were they are covering this development over the weekend of elizabeth mic. Donahue is a parliamentarian for the united states senate and she blocked the entire passage of the amnesty bill and what. Msnbc to say about this well. Mendy hassan comes out and says you know what democrats are going to get voted out because we can't get our agenda through you see as soon as they come up against any opposition they shatter. Let's play that tape now. Democrats being democrats than nova overall the parliamentarian upon mentoring. Which means they're going to go into the mid next year saying we couldn't give you all the wonderful things we wanted to give you. Because of the parliamentarian and voters will say who the hell is the parliamentarian and vote out democrats. So basically he's saying is. Why are we listening to this parliamentarian. Who cares about the senate rules. What matters is the will of the people what matters is what we wanna do.
Exploring the Inner Hebrides
"In some ways. The traditions of scotland survive most vividly in its islands off the west coast. These are the hebrides we've invited to of our favorite scottish guides into the studio to share stories and tips on their favorite islands. Liz listener is from fife. Cullen mirrors is from glasgow. And they're both here with us now to share a little better understanding of scotland's inner hebrides. Thanks for joining us. Thank you he cullen when you Think about the hebrides. We hear that word a lot hebrides. These are the islands off of the west scotland. But there's inner and outer hebrides. What's the story there. So and our hebrides. They're basically the ones that are closer to mainland scotland to hebrides further out. So probably most people going to visit islands of scotland and are of to access lists when you're thinking of the inner hebrides which ones are your favorites in which one's the most popular with tourists. Well open which is on the west coast of scotland is known as the charing cross of the islands as the saying the air unto the lord belongs and all the it contains except the kyle's in the western isles for these are all mic planes mcleans caledonian mcleans of the fatty company. So people will come to open. And that's the jumping off point to go to the islands. So open is the charing cross. Charing cross would be the big train station in london. Somewhere you depart go to different places so open would be the jumping off point. It's the big port on the mainland. From where the ferries go absolutely so. Kyle's what is kyle's kyle's of the stretches of water so the leyland's eye for the straight and on the missiles ago everything the lord's except for the aisles and the waters and that could make prince how the the the metrolink and forwards to the islands they caught passengers. The coty fleet the cardi tourists. So this is the ferry system caledonian mcbrayer because every time i think of an island scene. There's a dramatic ferry coming across. It is just beautiful thing. And you have the jumping off point in the real terminal Open and so people coming from moscow will die sleek connect with the on out so an answer to your question. Probably the most popular are the ones closest mull. Iona we can come back to 'cause i owned is really accessible as d. Are right for a particular reason
Liz Wheeler Suggests the Fear Porn Over Coronavirus Is out of Control
"So, Mr. Let's start first on the coronavirus Fear porn, which has gotten quite grotesque. You know, I've been doing cable commentary for a while, and I remember again or in Ebola and H one n one. You know, the whole thing was Don't panic. We'll figure it out. Science will get us through it. And if we don't come up with some vaccine will learn to live with it. The whole thing was don't panic, and then Donald Trump came into office. The left figured out it could use coronavirus as a political weapon, and they did. And that is real consequences, Liz. I mean, we're seeing this now in this Atlantic story that upwards of 50% of people who are hospitalized were hospitalized for mild or asymptomatic cases, which means some of them probably thought they were going to die because the media told them they were going to die, even though they were mild or asymptomatic. Yeah, it's horrifying. I mean, the primary difference between how the political establishment has handled covid versus h one N one or Ebola, As we were told in no uncertain terms during each one and one and Ebola that we are Americans and we keep going. We keep living our normal lives. Do not stop. Do not do not fear. And now we're being told the opposite. We're being told. You know that you're basically a virus. You're not a person. You're a pathogen, and you have to wear a mask it to dehumanize yourself, because that's more important than anything else. It's really I mean, it's not the politics. This is a Marxist tactic as a marketing tactic. These radical leftists have been wanting for a long time to undermine our institutions here in our country and impose Marxism on the American people. They realize that if they declare an emergency, whether or not it truly is, if they declare an emergency people will fear and in their fear it will be willing to turn over their rights and liberties for the government. And so since the American people unfortunately have done so in the past year and a half the government certainly not going to stop. They're going to keep pushing the American people until One of these days, the American people hopefully you're going to say Enough is enough. We're giving, you know more power, and we're taking back. All right.

"Often could you fly home. Well i hate flying. So i probably wouldn't. That often buy. It would be an all in thing for me. Because i've i've never taken a time in my life to do something all in like i'm always coaching. I love doing that stuff. I love doing things around town. I'm just such an active person. So it's it's a weird thought for me. I don't even know how it goes about going all in on this but that being said i mean on a fly back for christmas and maybe one other time maybe two times a year but again a lot of my money would go to because it costs to train and go to meet a lot of my travel or anytime i will take from any job. I have support myself would go towards that dream. Can anybody come to you. Possibly could. I don't see that this is like we grew up in this town. No one really leaves the sound. I'm the one who left eventually. Came back but the thing is my grandparents talking about. Who are so awesome. I went north. Carolina had needs in north carolina in california and even el salvador in. my grandparents. Never missed a single meet. I know if this happens like they would. It's just that. I'm struggling with the thought of leaving this place that i love. That's like just a near and dear to my heart and like i said i love high school coaching. I love doing this festival for my town just like i don't know why it shows like a selfish choice. No it's like a generous will okay. Have you been watching the olympics. Religiously like this time around. I have is. It just happened that today was like the javelin final and like everything like that. And what did it scare in you it was. I don't wanna say frustrating. A mike i could throw that i i just i have to heal properly and everything you know. The surgery could change things. But i just have such a drive to do this. And it's something that i love so much loved the competition out of the off. Were like that but yeah just watching on be there. Yeah yeah. I was gonna say like because i bet that that is really making this decision like yes. Dear like thirstier. Like chomping at the bit. Yeah yeah it relates back to your story on when you saw those other actors and you're like god definitely do this and i could probably do it a lot better. It's that same thing right. Yeah you know. If i were to say jesse that i really think you should do this. I really think you should take like a year. Go out west train. see what happens. How does that make you feel like what your gut was. That fear was it. Like excitement is was definitely more excitement. Just because a. I speak out like challenges the mike. It's something so new in so adventurous. Honestly the one thing about being home that has been nice. And i don't know not irritating but it's just a helmet so comfortable and not always okay with that by at the same time like. It's obviously scary to to leave that. When i made the decision to move to los angeles. I said it was going to live there for a year. If i was happy at the end of the year i will reassess. I was going to work as a waitress and like try to just kind of scrape by in addition and kind of roll the dice and then after the year was over. When i was still waiting tables i would then go back to marketing but it may help like psychologically if you wanna think about what terms if feels like it would be tragic if i told you to stay with your family because i do feel like you..

And so i sorta got fed up with the way that he dealt with things and he was sort of getting fed up with me. And it just gotta give so. I pull the plug to see. What would happen if we ended things. Because i feel like he's gonna break up with me any wales like one of us has to do it. So let's just see and then after that. We made the necessary changes. Because sometimes you have to see what that looks like. You have to see what living without a person looks like and you have to go through that pain almost like a death and then you come to know how important that person is not to you. You know what i mean. I do know what you mean. But i feel like if you were a man sameness. No totally like i think i will be thinking about it slightly differently because right you know what's that stupid thing that people say. If you love something let it go and if it comes back like you know it's meant to be half and there is truth to that young but i do think that it's used as an excuse. Do you know what i'm saying. Yeah i mean for me. It was like. I felt like it was permanent. I didn't do it as a test like a here. you go. here's a little listening to freak you out. Let's get you like into shape. "Such that cnn and abc and nbc. And pretty much. Everybody is parenting this kind of thing. We weren't there ten or twenty years ago right. Well you phrased it exactly correctly. It's taken decades and it's literally been decades so the marxist that i mentioned who while at the frankfurt school in germany wrote about critical theory as a tool to implement marxism in the west they under threat of nazi of the nazis. They came to america and columbia. University allowed them to set up in the columbia university teacher's colleges. These marxists have not just metaphorically. They have quite literally infiltrated the academic system. And it's taken decades for that to become prevalent in the academic system. It did become prevalent once. It was prevalent in the academic system. Then it took a little time for those in the academic system to taught and to go and progress in their careers enough that they were parodying marxism. But that's where we are now. We've actually had a time lapse long enough that not only the idea seated in higher education. But it's been taught to people who are now in the upper echelons of their careers decades later. That's that's exactly right and that's what's so extraordinary. I think oftentimes there is a cultural lag. In the way things come out but also there's a different kind of cultural lag in the sense that most people didn't see it coming they're living their lives and then suddenly this weird thing appears and they don't know how did this happen. I mean the idea that your average american should be familiar with the term critical race theory. Much less what. It is seems preposterous. What the nazis. They hate the jews. And they're the enemy of america and we're going to go to war but the idea that we have to be familiar with these ridiculous things It really has taken us. Unawares and obviously a lot of churches are completely blindsided. They don't have a clue that this is evil from the pit of hell is marxist eight theism in different clothes. And so you know. They're playing patty cake with it. And they're putting up flags a rainbow flags or whatever it is that must amaze you being catholic right so i kind of divide christianity and i hate to use the word divide when it comes to christianity. But they're sort of three sex in american culture right the evangelical protestants and catholics. And each different way. I think these three denominations have fallen prey to this woke ism. The catholic church has fallen prey to social justice which is essentially socialism just wrapped up in this idea of charity. But it's not really charity when it's coerced when it's redistribution of wealth so the catholic church has fallen short or in fact have fallen prey to a false gospel in that sense. The protestants have fallen prey to just play woke them. They have dying congregations. So they're resorting. To these tenants of woke culture to try to recruit new members to their congregations likewise are abandoning the gospel and evangelical bless their hearts have essentially tried to create alternative institutions rather than taking on the institutions that the radical left is trying to take over. And i don't. I don't blame them. I understand you. Don't wanna send your kid to a public school. You don't want to send them to the movies. You don't wanna let them watch a movie. That has terrible theme to it but instead of taking it on they have acquiesced those institutions and remove themselves creating sort of an alternative community in doing those three things. Those three denominations which should be at the forefront of the defence of these cultural institutions. How fallen somewhat short now. That doesn't mean there's not areas that each each of christianity has done good things in our country. I don't mean to just be pointing the finger and blame but they have fallen short in combating the cultural marxism that we're facing. We're going to go to a break folks. I've been trying thing to get a liaison for years but i've been having liz on my list at least to get on for years knowing. I wanted to get her on the show. You can absolutely and you should check her out on twitter. It's spelled allies e. l. a. underscore f f she does a fantastic. I mean fantastic job for yahu. She has a story that just came out that we're gonna dive into. It's all upside fantasy football team which i love because liz. Let's be honest. That's how you win like you guys with upside to cash in for you. If you're in a competitive league that's the difference hitting those upside i players but also keeping balance and while while constructing a roster in mind could you can't you can't draft the sean jackson in every around right or you're gonna get banged so you have to kind of think about who are floor players that will mesh well with your ceiling targets but ceiling targets are so much more fun because i think i mean i know ross. You're like a dad and a husband so in life. Maybe we have to be responsible but in fantasy the ball a little bit of fun and go all upside right and i just have to say you went to princeton right dude yeah yeah yeah so i went to brown. Oh does it. I hope it. Does it bother you that you couldn't get in to like a really good. Ivy schools the only only if it bothers you because you spent all that time eating clubs in princeton while we were actually so wait a minute liz auger no first of all. Did you play a sport or something and i was actually a competitive figure skater all through like elementary school junior high in high school well <hes> i didn't go to university of delaware. Which is the school. That has the best like figure skating program. I also played volleyball but i'm five two as most most people now have tiny person and so i wasn't a particularly good center so college. Volleyball wasn't really set up for me. No pun intended or so i do that was awesome so i i my point of asking that was did you get into brown based solely on your academic merit. I would say yes s. Recruited athlete i did not i did not apply as an athlete now holy cow so just let the record show that that means liz is definitely a thousand percent smarter than i am because there is no chance that i would have gotten into the prince and are any of the ivy leagues without football so that tells you that liz is very very bright among her other wonderful qualities. That's awesome liz. Gimme gimme the background give your listener is the backer and that's the most important thing we'll get into the fantasy stuff but i always liked to personalise my guest. I are so i so i know you went to brown but go before that. Where'd you grow up. How'd you get into fantasy football and how'd you get the gig allen. I'll make it quick. I a group in chicago. I'm the only kid so is the her and i but she was out trying to make a living so my grandfather who who was the embodiment of the carl sandburg poem if anyone knows carl sandberg <unk> bit of a reference but clearly i'd like to read as as we've already discuss because the browns step but like world war two vet grizzled guy that worked on the railroads he was kind of my primary caregiver because my mom was busy so he was the guy hi who was you know taking me to to girl scouts into figure skating and to any of the camps and stuff that i was in and so i ended up learning all the stuff that if were speaking in gender normative terms like boy would learn and <hes> supports became a huge giant chicago sports fan and he unfortunately fortunately when i went away really wanted me to go to north western so that i would stay close. He was really really like to stay close baby state and i was like no i wanna go out east. I want to discover cover. What all of this is about. I can't say not brown so i went out and he unfortunately passed away the first semester of freshman year and i came home minutes away to grieve. I just started watching. I turned on the t._v. In the bears were playing the vikings and the bears lost because that's kind of how they do injured originally and and <hes> i then as a way degrees started watching every single football game not just the bears games and that became a tradition for me best word a couple of years. I'm dating this this guy. He's in this thing called the fantasy football league. He says to me sheepishly. One sunday morning and i was broke like i was straight out of college had no money was waiting tables trying to figure out my life and he had something called the red zone channel and he said do you mind if we watched this all day on sunday and like kind of hang out on the sofa uh and i was like are you kidding me. Are we ordering wings or chinese. Like what are we doing here. That's awesome. Let's totally watch football all day so i ended up like kind of secretly managing co managing his fantasy football team to a victory to a super bowl victory next year i wanted my own team didn't wanna share don't like to share so i okay <hes>. There happened to be a spot in the league. I took it. I won the super bowl that year. When the super bowl the next year then one day i was watching fantasy football live on which i am now a cast member which blows my mind and thought why why are there no women in the space. I could do this i should do. I enjoy this so. I started a blog called. The fantasy football girl dot com created a real life contact content schedule be logs put myself made it a job like made it a third job and then also started a podcast started a twitter feed and just hit like just was grinding on it and really trying to learn from others and engage with others and i did that for about four years before scout notice to me signed me to <hes> a season-long deal and then yahu paid attention in poached me away from scout out and niamh now entering my fifth season with yahoo fantasy liz. That's amazing first of all. Both your mom and your grandpa sound awesome absolutely awesome. I'm just picturing your grandpa taking you you know to girl scouts and all all that stuff and god bless him man that is that's a that's a man's man right there so that that is awesome that that really really touched me and then as for everything else that is really interesting and cool. I guess my question was when you went to brown and then you graduated. What did you think you were going to do. What did you major in you guys. Don't even have major no majors no grades yeah. We have concentrations ross kirk. I am so i will admit my first semester not just because of my grandfather's passing but just in general like i was a basic tom girl from the midwest to showed up wearing birkenstocks like i knew nothing about rich kids about east coast. Life brown was very difficult for me to culturally adjust to but i really wanted to study a whole bunch of stuff so the front my freshman year i just kind of took everything from art history to the history of the vietnam war to theater classes and dabbled and then i ended up deciding to major in theater and linguistics six my mom was not going to allow me to go to college just meter theater so she was like baby you pick something else and i speak spanish so i majored in linguistics and when i graduated i came out to l. a. wanting to have a career in entertainment and was waiting tables and trying to be an actress at the same time booked a couple of shows and was working eventually actually as an actress but it just wasn't you know i had my health insurance. I if you go on i._m._d._b. I booked plenty of things but it just wasn't fulfilling and i wanted to own something creatively blamed myself and that became the fantasy football blog. You are awesome heard about you from other people but you are. You're like legitimately awesome. This is so cool i'm loving. You're a go getter on so many different levels absolutely awesome. I'm fired up even even more than i already was. This is fantastic. What did you graduate from brown by the way and i graduated in a we'll talk about it off line but you graduated ahead of got it got it. We're keeping your age a secret. I guess getting mid thirties okay. I'm well. I i just turned forty so yes. I am ahead of you so we did probably did not overlap so that everything about that is awesome. I want to dive into into your all upside team because i think it's a great article two right before we dive into that though speaking of yahoo you leaders. Did you know that they have officially released their week. One daily fantasy football contests that's right. They have a one million dollar contest for week one. You're probably we not eligible for this list salary but no management fee a hundred k. two first place meaning more money goes back to you the players if you love liz you will love yahoo dot com slash daily fantasy. If you're just getting started with daily fantasy football joined the free to enter yahoo cup up and play all season long one hundred fifty k. in weekly and seasonal prizes and if you get a perfect lineup you win a million dollars by the way the perfect commercial perfect read yahoo dot com slash daily tennessee to tell you while we're about to have liz talk about her all upside website team because that tell you winning d._f._s. With upside people that pay off so let's get into it liz your quarterback jameis winston and i think that one most people can kind of understand right you know bruce arians no risk it no biscuit like that that one makes accents to me. I think you're running. Backs are interesting leonard for net as well as dion lewis. I will definitely was not expecting dion lewis as is an offside with all the derrick henry talk so let's dive in your running backs for net and lewis and and i know i read your story but sell the listeners and they should read you just story by the way as well just check out liz. I told you on twitter twitter handle. She posted up there. You can find it but i want to get a little bit from you liz as to why for orna lewis as your high upside dudes so part of the conceit of this article right is that the upside is relative to a player's a._d._p. Inability ability to return on investment right so when you're looking at leonard fournette and you're looking at and i get it. I get the burnt complaints. I owned him last year to write like you've got character concern concern. You've got your ability concerns. He's attached to a bluff offense in theory. Although i i am optimistic about flip coming in and maybe energizing a lot of what happened what could happen happen this year but for nets range of possible outcomes is an rb one. It has been every year since his rookie year. Which is why he's continually disappointed in. Why everyone everyone is so upset so when i look at his situation what competition does yeah we really are. We worried about a livelihood. I don't think so right like there's no t._j. Yeldan elden. There's no carlos hyde. Those guys were allowed to walk in free agency. Now they've added alfred blue. L. for blue is averaged under four point -o yards for carrying four of his last five seasons and then they used a fifth round pick on this while armstead guy who's already had a couple of dings to in terms of his durability so we know he's going to be a workhorse of course good luck finding one of those in the n._f._l. Something someone who's not working in a platoon you've got him. There and i also think when you look at this defense that jag that the jaguars have he last year they disappointed yeah. We knew they were gonna request. Regress probably not as much as they did twenty eighteen but i think they're gonna bounce back. They've made some improvement and and so this figures to be pretty conservative offense that wants to establish the run shout out to evans silva right whether or not you want whether or not that's exciting in the modern day the n._f._l. This team seems very much built around making leonard fournette work and i think when you look at those range of possible outcomes and we know he is one of the most powerful one healthy running backs available in the league when at his current a._d._p. Shoot don't tell me this guy can't produce rb two numbers. I'm in mm-hmm yeah i would say. Is this his third year fourth year at any rate. I'm trying to look it up but at any rate i think he he realizes that if he ever want to get a second contract that one way or the other the time is now so i'm kind of with you on for net for all all the reasons just mentioned i called their game on thursday night against the eagles and it's only four nets third year but he he's eligible for a contract extension after this year if he has a big one so i like the logic there for sure especially on the backups and or lack thereof and i and i love his motivation as well. What about <hes> dion lewis. That's not a name. I've heard a lot that one kind of surprised me now so so the dion lewis logic is obviously i mean i'd be lying if i said it wasn't tied to derrick henry availability this season yes derrick henry came on on week fourteen just in time to win a bunch of people fantasy championships but his usage was suspect will dion lewis lewis was used much more frequently early on in the season and and i think people have forgotten about his ability to both run inside inbetween tackles and also catch passes right. We're only thinking of him as a pass catching back but i think in p._r. Friendly formats that also buoy him because when marcus mariota he may not even end up the starter right reading some reports what's on wrote a world that seemed murky about whether he tannahill are like duffer sure start sure it's probably marcus mariota but could there be a changing of the guard. Would anyone be surprised by that. No part of that is because marcus mariota can stay healthy. His mechanics are met also ryan. Tannehill likes to check down that is good for dion lewis and when you look at the online online retailer luan urine special is right <hes> with taylor the one out for the first month. I'm guessing that arthur smith is going to tell his fragile q._b. To check down a whole bunch is get that ball out that also is a place where dion lewis can excel so again part of this is due to his eighty p._m. He's going in the thirteenth round. What else are you doing in the thirteenth route especially noting a._j. Brown we. We're not sure he's a rookie. We're also not sure about his availability. Delaney walker is still is one hundred percent percent right now. You've got adam humphreys which admittedly competes in terms of yardage with <hes> expected yardage with dion lewis but i think at the running think back position in the thirteenth round you wanna throw a dart lewis could definitely produce rb three minimal numbers thought it was was funny by the way liz it's because he's suspended for the first four games. The titans played he didn't start the game but then he played like the whole first half taylor lewan in the preseason opener against the eagles which i thought was a little bit weird because all these teams are has indicated there guys hurt but like like you'll have your best off into lyman play because he's suspended for the first four weeks like what if you tears and achilles earn s._e._a._l. This thought i get it but i thought that was is interesting but absolutely their offense of lying is in is it nearly as good with him out and then by the way what if they suffer an injury at tackle one one of the first four games then that's when things really get bad when you get multiple injuries or in this case it suspension at the same position most teams. The next dude in is usually pretty good. That's kind of who i was usually like not the guy you want starting but he's not gonna lose the game for the guy after that. That guy can lose the game for you and that guy can be a major major problem so i like. I like your logic there. Let's get to your receivers this dante moncrieff who i can absolutely understand and marquez valdez gambling which is interesting. Is there enough there for marquez. Vow skittling to eat opposite devante items liz that is an excellent point and that is the biggest question because it's very it could be very much that the packers three main players are aaron rodgers aaron jones if he stays healthy and davante adams so what's left i. I'm not sure but i do know that n._b._s. Is probably the most athletic of these receivers. He's going to have some big some big game. If you're playing basketball go ahead and roll out what boggles my mind and why i wanted to include them in this article all is the g._m._o. Is being drafted ahead of him that to me is such simplistic plug and play rational jimoh. Who is the only reason he's going to be. The the big slack is because he's not explosive. He can't make separation and up on the outside to take the number two spot m._v._s. find you a man who can do both right right like he can definitely work outside and in he did that last year. He and rogers have been working on their timing. When aaron rodgers starts talking up a player and we're looking in a post taylor done article life lifespan here i am paying attention and so i m b s has huge breakout potential and again. He's so damn cheap like why are you not reach your you. Don't even have to read from you will fall in your lap and the upside is there. He earned his quarterback troy. She's been prioritized by the coaching staff and also just for stats. If people like these he caught twenty three of twenty eight catchable targets be at the slot and also brought down fourteen of seventeen balls when working on the outside so his versatility is great drama. Allison has not been particularly durable or dependable so i think you could see an expanded role especially with randall cobb no longer part of that offense and those targets being fed at least partially to n._b._s. Find somebody that calls the packers wide receivers m._v._s._a. and g._m. That's my that's my advice for everybody out there about dante moncrieff with the steelers. I mean i have been on this. Take since april so it's catching got part of the reason i included it was because i am doing a little bit of that fantasy football writer. This was my flag. I sort of thing so i just look at people are like liking james washington now right because of his first preseason action where he hooked up with rudolf his former quarterback and i think he had a nice is forty four plus yard bomb from josh dobbs and like the first opening moments of the of last week's preseason action but i just feel like moncrieff on krief is a red zone weapon and this team is going to need to score some damn touchdowns <unk> big. Ben is going to need <unk>. Okay we could talk about vance mcdonald. Donald every damn year advanced mcdonald's supposed year. I liked dante mockery. He is a big body. He caught seven touchdowns with andrew luck. Two years ago in luck was healthy. I like the he has a nice quarterback. Big bend like the big ben's been talking him up and he's probably not going to have a ton of targets every week right. This isn't the guy that your high high volume guy. This is your high value target guy because a lot of those are going to be in the end zone tight end time liz and this this guy <hes> there's a lot of height mark andrews tight end for the baltimore ravens a lot of hype for a guy by the way that was a fourth round pick the same aim years they had a first round pick tight in but man i read the baltimore writers and they're saying he was by far the best player in camp so far which was interesting. I remember him in the u._s. Army bill. I called that game for n._b._c. and he was excellent. People are all into mark andrews has it caught brought up to his a._d._p. Yet lewis and starting to i don't like it. It is starting to the buzz will because of what you said right. It's not just that beat writers. There's are are saying that he's the most explosive playmaker encamp they've been saying that throughout spring and summer practices that's the drumbeat that people talk about it is becoming deafening happening. The buzz is mounting. This is also a converted wide receiver right <hes> a high percentile spark athlete and he was used. I used in college to bail out his q._b. Numerous times so i like what he's doing last year. He flashed radiate a let's see two grabs over sixty yards last year which is incredible for a rookie and i look at this receiving corps and there's a lot of potential miles boykin who i like to call kenny golladay two point oh <hes> he has potential marquees brown could do something if he get on the field otherwise though if i'm looking at the players who could bail out a explosive admittedly but quarterback who struggles with accuracy. I think a big bodied athletic tight end is exactly kalihi what lamar jackson needs and that's why you're seeing all these reports about the growing chemistry so i have him projected for fifty three grabs six hundred seventy eight yards and five touchdowns when you look at those double digit rounds where he is still available especially at a position. It's volatile as china. I'm taking it. Her name is liz loza. You need need to check out her stories over at yahoo including the all upside fantasy football team if you want to read more she.
