"I want to talk about the mystery of the January 6th footage. But I want to put it in a broader context of what's going on with Fox News and specifically what's going on with Fox News regarding this January 6th video. You remember the Kevin McCarthy gave the video, not Kevin McCarthy says I didn't really give the video I made it available. Well, okay, he made it available to taka Carlson. And I think the expectation was, not just of Kevin McCarthy, but a lot of people who had pushed Kevin McCarthy to release this video, they wanted to see a lot of the stuff that was held back by the January 6th committee. Let's remember the January 6th committee put out a thoroughly cherry picked narrative. So all the videos showing stuff that goes against the January 6th committee was not released. They just, and in fact, if you look further at what happened with the January 6th committee, Liz Cheney even blocked the subcommittees that were looking at things like intelligence failures, the refusal to act on proper intelligence to capital police new things, but they didn't do anything about them. And Liz Cheney was like, don't release any of this why, because we've just got to make Trump the soul and exclusive villain. So you can see the kind of propaganda that that committee ultimately became a propaganda factory.

Could Trump Be Worse the Second Time Around?
"It's not, it's a little more nuanced than that, but I do think you don't credit evangelicals generally with being smart about their vote. My whole view of the evangelical affair with Trump is that the relentless ascendancy of secularism drove evangelicals into his arm and that that election was really about the Supreme Court. And that evangelicals were quite smart to go with Trump after he published his list, and they ended up with justice, Gorsuch justice, Kavanaugh, and justice Amy Coney Barrett, and that was a good deal for evangelicals concerned about freedom of worship. Response I understand all that, I, you know, my perspective was at the time and remains that he was that Trump was pretty clear about his disregard for the constitution for history for sort of the architecture of our democracy. He made that pretty clear in his comments in different ways. And I think he proved that his words meant something when it came to January 6th. So I think, you know, sure, you got a Supreme Court that you like, and we came to a constitutional crisis where we came closer than I and many others would have liked to. Okay, tangent. Tangent, John. If Mike Pence had done the wrong thing and put aside the ballots, what do you think would have happened? It wasn't a constitutional crisis. It was a riot, and it was dangerous, and I hope they're all prosecuted who broke in, but I've had this argument with Liz Cheney. What do you think would happen if Mike Pence had bought it? Well, we don't know what would have happened. I think there's another scenario where they delay it where lawmakers are killed, where they can't get enough lawmakers to actually certify the election. And I think there was talk, I think, by general milley, of concerns about Trump, you know, declaring martial law or some excuse to take military control of the country. We don't have evidence that I think John Roberts would have gotten the court together and they would have declared count the votes in about 24 hours. Maybe not that long. And they would add a Nixon versus the United States 9 zero vote and we weren't close to a constitutional crisis. In fact, my biggest argument with you about your book is you don't actually have a lot of faith that evangelicals believe in the constitution and that there are concerns about the secularization of the society are overstated when in fact I spend a lot of time talking to the alliance defending freedom, they're out there every day combating anti Christian bigotry. I mean, it's real. I've been reporting on this since 1992. It's a constant, secularization, advance that has triggered a lot of the response that you deal with, although covenant life church is different. That's why I'm trying to, that's a very different part of the general evangelical world, isn't it? You know, in some respects, coming to life was not very political. It wasn't involved with things like alliance defending freedom. And you know, I have no problem with people doing those things in through the system that we have. But I think going back to the point about January 6th, were we at the point of a coup, we don't know the point my point is we were way too close for my comfort level and we're now at a point where the same guy is potentially going to be the Republican nominee again. And if he brought us that close last time, my concern is where do we go from here if he's president again?

FOX News Poll: Donald Trump Leads GOP Lineup, Including DeSantis
"There is new polling data that shows Donald Trump continues to lead Ron DeSantis. According to the latest Fox News poll, 43% of Republican primary voters believe Donald Trump is going to be their guy 43%. Ron DeSantis 28%. And here's the lineup. These are all the folks that are polling, Nikki Haley 7% Mike Pence 7% Greg Abbott and Liz Cheney 2% apiece. Now, the reason why this is interesting and fascinating is because Fox News has banned Donald Trump from their airwaves. They will not cover his rallies, they will not cover his speeches, he has not been invited to be a guest on any of the shows. So what's fascinating is that his numbers are still high, even though he's been banned from Fox News. Now what does that tell you? Is it possible that Fox News, even though they are anti Trump, may not be all that influential in Republican circles anymore? Is that possible? There were a number of other folks in the poll, but all of those people got less than 1%. Of the vote among Republican primary voters. Now, what's interesting is if you take Trump out of it, well, desantis at that point gets 42%, Mike Pence at 23% and Nikki Haley trailing at 6% and Hailey so far is the only person who's actually thrown her name into the ring.

"I'd like to talk about Julie Kelly's latest article on things we didn't know about January 6th that the January 6th committee has tried to conceal to downplay in some cases to mention, but stick it in an appendix where no one's really going to focus on it. We got a hint of all that when Tim hefe, the chief investigator for January 6th came out and told candidian of NBC News that, oh yeah, that was plenty of intelligence about what was going to happen in January 6th. There was a lot of concrete and practical knowledge that the law enforcement authorities had, but they didn't act on it. They didn't coordinate one with the other. They didn't prepare for this. Now why they didn't prepare for this he didn't go, he doesn't go into, but the point is, this law enforcement failure. At the very least it was a kind of act of coordinated incompetence. Was completely left out of the January 6th committee hearings. They never had hearings where they called law enforcement to account why? Because Liz Cheney and the other is kind of had a narrative law enforcement good Trump and maga bad. Any information that disrupted this narrative was simply excluded. So you see here the January 6th committee is not a real investigation. It's not even a real committee because it didn't have Republican members except handpicked Republicans picked by Pelosi to support the democratic narrative. By the way, this is a good lesson for Kevin, McCarthy, you can do the same thing to the Democrats. Find one or two Democrats if you can find them. Good luck. Who are going to play the game of the Republicans and put them on?

Now the sham committee, Benny Thompson, Liz Cheney and everyone else on their committee. They're trying to blame Donald Trump. They release their big 840 something page report the other day. Donald Trump's name is mentioned like 4200 times. But I tell you, most of your viewers obviously have heard the name ray eps, ray app should have been arrested. He was on the FBI's most wanted list. He was actually on video trying to incite a riot. It would have been a felony because it was serious bodily injury or death. And he's never been arrested. And so the fact of the matter is, ray Epstein's name was listed zero. His name was mentioned. Zero times in that report. So I'm looking into it all. I'm going to show we have showed the American people and my book the big fraud that it's not Donald Trump's fault. It was a law enforcement failure and I detail all this in that book.

Seth, the part about security, the security failures, which was part of the legislative mission, was buried in an appendix at the end of the report. This got the attention, as I said, of not just people on our side, which we were expecting this. But also people on the left, who somehow were diluted into believing this was a legitimate investigation. And not a cover up of January 6th. And another never Trump effort to take down Donald Trump.

And I know Trump has come out this morning and he said, you know what? He's vote for McCarthy. He's going to be a good speaker. I wish the president hadn't done that. Because I don't believe it. Not one bit. But I can tell you this, we're going to fight the good fight, and these 20 House Republicans, I wish there had been a hundred, but we could only find 20 who had the courage who had the will to stand up and fight. You see, they're trying to drain the swamp in the House of Representatives. They're trying to make sure that we don't pass any more $1 trillion spending bills without reading every single piece of the bill. They're trying to do what we the people sent them to Washington, D.C. to do in the first place.

And I want to reiterate something for a lot of people because a lot of people are like, oh, well, the RNC doesn't matter, now there's a lot that matters. There's a lot that matters to the RNC. That is that is the call point where the strategy and the prioritization of how we win. That's where it all starts. And if you don't have an RNC that's functioning on your behalf, that is smart that is focusing on the states that we need to absolutely win first presidency, and then our most important federal races. We're going to lose. We're going to lose the entire country. So we're monitoring two things. At once, we are monitoring the RNC race that's happening on one 27, right? Is that correct? Yeah, that's correct. The 27th. 24 days. And then also right now, the Speaker of the House race, which is going to put the house into suspense, which they're doing roll call and I think Andy Biggs has ten votes. So there's a lot more people that are defecting from Kevin McCarthy than people would have imagined. This puts it into now conference and therefore there could be a uni party speaker right Tyler. This is a real thing. In fact, I got a text from a hill staffer where he said, now there's a legit possibility, the House majority is eliminated. This is from a house staffer. He says that deals are already starting to get cut to try to bring someone like Liz Cheney to become Speaker of the House.

"House of Representatives is about to go into recess and the votes they are going one by one by one. So there have been 5 Republicans that have said they are not going to support Kevin McCarthy. And so Kevin has a couple options. I based on all of your emails and our audience, you guys have a very negative view of Kevin McCarthy. And I generally understand the skepticism, the apprehension, and the cynicism towards all Republican leadership. I've told you guys before. Kevin was very sweet to our turning point USA leaders a couple of years ago and he was actually he's always been very honest. I mean, I don't think he's a movement conservative, but he's also not Paul Ryan. I don't think that's fair. But here's a legitimate thing. Now, Kevin McCarthy has an option. Kevin can keep on negotiating with the house freedom caucus. Kevin can try to go to Democrats to get votes or there could be other people that are going to be proposed for Speaker of the House. There can be Jim Jordan. There can be Justin amash. There can be Evan kinzinger. There can be Liz Cheney. And you might say, oh, well, what Republicans will vote for those people? All you need is a few. Democrats would consider it a massive accomplishment right now to be able to block all investigations into mayorkas into Biden by getting a uni party type speaker. And so Democrats right now, they know they're not going to be able to take back the house. That's what I'm saying. People say, Charlie, Democrats are going to take over the house. That's not what I've said. I say Republicans could lose it. That's a completely different thing. So Democrats right now, because Democrats understand power and Republicans were still learning. We got a lot of Machiavelli still to read. Democrats will enthusiastically go for a compromise candidate, all of them, basically, if they could pick off 5 Republicans. That would mean no oversight of any agencies. That would mean no oversight of Google, no oversight of Twitter, no oversight of the FBI, none of it. And

"Gone through fidelity information. Systems incubator accelerator program over the last 7 years, ten have located here and in Little Rock and are growing year in Little Rock with one recent announcement yesterday. So I think it's important to do both. We have a dynamic environment that attracts outside companies and outside employment and I think it's critical for us to increase our economic growth rate by doing that by growing our own right here in Central Park and so. I've got to ask because this is obviously been a major thing in the news recently. Whether it's maybe it's more relevant to attracting outside companies, but a state like Arkansas with an abortion ban that went into effect doesn't have exceptions for rape or incest just about across the board ban in Arkansas. Does that create difficulties for the state to attract employers that might want to come there and attract employees? Jack, it's a good question. I haven't seen any evidence that it has. That's something that the legislature of course will deal with in its first regular session, following the road decision, which will convene in January. But no, I've not seen it raised and we had 500 people from around the world visiting Little Rock as a business location in an accelerator location this week that seems to indicate that we're doing something right here on the business front. One other big picture question I gotta ask you about Liz Cheney losing her primary not ruling out the idea of running for president. What is Liz Cheney's place in the Republican Party and in American politics right now? Well, Liz Cheney has served the people of Wyoming and they made another decision yesterday to send her back to the profit sector and have her leave her service in Congress. She has a track record as a conservative policy expert on national security and is devoted to this country, but look, running for president requires the nomination of a political party and the Republican Party has to find consensus around that candidate and right now with that defeat in Wyoming, I think that challenges Liz Cheney's ability to find that consensus in the Republican Party in the near term to be nominated for president. Liberty and a lot of it, in my opinion is unconstitutional, illegal and should be adjudicated not through regulation, but through the courts, which I still think of the last standing institution.
