"In Liverpool, a cabbie notices that his passenger appears to be a suicide bomber. And we're putting up the tape. If you have downloaded the Salem news channel, you will now be watching the video of what happened. The Salem news channel is an app that you ought to get every day because I show you videos like this that no one else in America asks because they don't get up early enough to do the news. So in Liverpool, the cabbie gets a guy gets into his car and he looks him in the back. You know, cabbies, we'll get you. Look at they always look into way and they say, who is this guy in my car? "In success of West Ham over the last couple of seasons. And you kind of think, well, who is it? Who that has left? And what was that record like before and after? Maybe if you take a look at this. Definitely was the problem. Yes, I can see that. Just a word on David Moyes overall. What did you make of working under him? What do you make of what he's doing at West Ham now? No, we have to give so much credit to debut Moyes. I mean, I've been working under the name for a year and he's an absolutely, you know, a wonderful mind and a gray coach. You know, he came after the village when he was sick. That was my first season I was time and then at the end of the season, he kept the team in the Premier League and then Pellegrini came when they saw Pilar really, they went for David once again. He came back and he's doing a brilliant job, you know, for the club. I'm glad that the owners gave him a proper chance, you know, to build something special for the club. They brought a few great signing, you know, so said Bowen, you know, when I am my plane, you know, fantastic. You know, it's been an absolutely joy to watch West Ham this season. Or since I left. I don't know who even brought that up. Who decided to bring up that graphic? We'll be talking a lot more about westlaw actually an extra time. Be sure to check that out. For now, let's just see what else happened today and you take a look at the result between Everton and spurs. Oh my goodness, this game was dreadful, you know, at really terrible. Everything that West Ham and Liverpool basically was this wasn't. If we're going to have one talking point about this Frank, I suppose, it's the penalty, you know, should it have been a penalty in your opinion? No, no, no, it's definitely not a follower, but there, there is a follow-up. So if you dismiss.

"Going to be. He's going to be amazing. That's the final piece of the jigsaw. He's going to be incredible because technically is amazing. But we all know when Liverpool air strength, especially in midfield because they don't score any midfield players live for Liverpool, just do not score but the work rate that they put in in the hunger and their tenacity they feed marnay, they feed for me, no. He was missing today. They feed sadio marne. When Thiago come off the bench today, when Liverpool were in a hurry, you sort of slowed it down a little bit too much. News planes no look passes, which you can do when you're cruising in a game and you're winning one or two and ill, but I don't know he needs to get going for me. But that was a performance that you've got to give west arm credit. They would have been distraught at the end of the game of Saudi amani had brought that back to three three because Liverpool, they deserve nothing out of that game. Allison, a football three, just on that point. I don't think I don't put the blame at him for the second. And listen, I understand why people feel that way, but I also see it from a goalkeepers perspective where you make a good effort at the ball. You get just enough that you take some piece off of it so it looks worse than it is. You actually will get less blame if you don't get as much on the ball. And so it's a street situation for you to find yourself in. But to the point about Liverpool, Liverpool considered two goals from set pieces here. And if I'm going to put on going to them or if I'm using club one and where do I go wrong? That clearly is a weakness of this because you either Van Dyke or bean you are the only players with any kind of height and far too far too many and on this occasion should Alexander Arnold, even then don't want to don't want to get into that nitty Gritty that battle inside that box from a set piece. So that's where that's where you can get your joy. And then if you manage it to launch a counter attack as it did, nobody picks up for now as it did. You get even more. But the initial question on double donut franc said with Van Dyck, there were times where Van Dyck and Michael Antonio were one and one. Up against each other. I have never seen anyone look as comfortable playing against Michael Antonio as Virgil Van Dyke. It is scary, how good a player he is. And for me, despite Liverpool's defensive walls, certainly on today's show and he's responsible for none of it. West Ham, of course, exceeding all expectations. And it incredible season off the back of their success last year. And we were scratching it. What is it? What have they done really that's really pushed them forward. Obviously, they've brought in a lot of fresh players, but maybe it isn't the players that they've brought in. Maybe it was the players that they let go, or maybe the players that retired that have reading the catalyst for their surge in success of West Ham over the last couple of seasons. And you kind of think, well, who is it? Who that has left? And what was that record like before and after? Maybe if.

"Was a Liverpool fan, I would take a one one now because West Ham. In my opinion, especially in the second half, we'll by far the better side out the two and in the end, they won the game and west and deserved it. And let's focus show me on the opening goal, obviously Jürgen Klopp's not happy with the challenge felt there was an infringement on Allison. What did you make of it, Frank? That hand is high. Yeah, the hand is high, it is dropping towards Alisson even if Alison is coming toward him. And he's true that, I guess, everywhere in Europe, there would be a question mark if they wouldn't be dismissed. But in England, I will go with the rap, you know, where is part of the game? I guess. I sort of check out would have been more firm on that matter and will defend Addison. But I would not have been surprised if the ref would have dismissed the goal because there is a definite and up to addition to the ball. So it could have been disallowed. Yeah, let's remember on Shaka's resume. It does say West Ham United. It has it says on Pablo sabale letters. Is it even worth asking you Pablo? Should that goal have stood? Sorry, say again Dan? Was that a good goal? Or should it have been chalked off the foul on Allison? No. In the Premier League, that is not how. I mean, you know, we have seen many times there's some player stood, you know, in front of the goalkeeper, but you know, you have to be strong in this kind of situations, you know, you have to go hard and just try to punch the board and you know, I did some bean for the wine, the Premier League, you should have done better in this situation. But for me, it was a perfect goal. How ready is Stevie watching this at home? Let me see this. If this game went on, I think Alison gets him benefited. And the goal is choked up. Okay. But would that be at West Ham and the crowd and the fans? And everything that comes with that whole field advantage, you get the benefit that you don't. Because there's a lot of doubt there, but I think it benefit goes really home for you there. What about the red card challenge that shaker thought was a red four minutes after the opening goal done? Oh, I thought stonewall red card. I mean, what was bizarre about the situation done is VAR checked for a red card. Didn't even get a yellow card. Right. I can VAL, check for a possible red and not even give a yellow, but crestwell knows what he's doing. It's one of those sort of, I'll say it loosely at sort of Wayne Rooney, Stevie G tackle where you take a lot of the ball and you follow through with loads of aggression and any core Jordan Anderson really, really high across the knee, and it could have been a bad one and it could have injured Jordan Henderson so for the referee not to even maybe go and look to the monitor, take advice from var, but in my humble opinion, that was a definite red. Frank, obviously, Liverpool, concealing too many goals at the moment, punished today, once again, because of that. All the hype obviously was that Van Dyke didn't play last scene. He's back this season. He's their rock at the back. That's exactly what they need. What's going on? Why are they so porous now defensively? Well, I don't think Van Dyke would be guilty for that because he made some good saves. And especially the first half on one tackle, it was absolutely fantastic. But he's been mentioned in the third goal, for example, when the kazuo to wonder what Alexander Arnold is doing and he's not watching is free. He could have gone for the header and he's not there. I think some players are not at all concerned about the defensive aspect of the game where they are in a position of what we call them defenders. So it's a big problem. Van Dyck does the job and I guess he couldn't be found guilty for everything. Alison wasn't at the top today. Even on the second goal, I think you could have saved it. Money loses the ball on the second goal, you know, it's a contract. It's difficult. As you mentioned in the highlights, Van Dyke's takes care of Antonio, but he can't take care of everybody and follow us from the middles. So it does the job, but everybody has to be more tuned in to make sure that it's a more defensive job to do. What's wrong with Liverpool? Don, is it just legging, as you said at the start? I thought they looked a bit tired, but I think when you look at the goals again, Dan, there were bad goals. I mean, Allison's at fault for all three mates at fault for the third one. It was one of them performances that Liverpool looked way off. And I think the bigger picture for me and I know it was his first game back and he came off the bench, but Thiago, I think it doesn't suit Liverpool. When they signed him, I thought, what a sign and he's.

"Look as I say, you look at these stats and the goals and stuff. He's on fire. He's literally on fire right now and some of the goals he scored in the past few weeks in the Premier League. You know, we might not never see goals as good as that again. So he's doing very, very well. But today, I don't think today was his best day by any means, but I suppose when you have when things are going, you can still score goals. You can still have a huge impact. And he managed to do that because they needed him today. And he steps up and I think better performance is my comfort down the line again. And hopefully less hostile environments for them. But, you know, most seller right now is one of the best in the world. Scores more goals keeps it rolling. Liverpool keep on winning. The remain on basin so credit to him? Can they keep on winning as well? Obviously, they've got united coming up at the weekend. You've seen in this performance where maybe there are some issues to look at. Did it concern you at all? Absolutely, that it's actually concerned me from most of the season. You know, everybody was saying, well, you know, the first three games, the only lost one goal. Well, that was don't do more of having a little luck and having a goalkeeper Alison. And you can see that, you know, you could actually see that morsel I wasn't a Liverpool's best player. You could see it was Allison. He had two one on ones. One of which was Griezmann could had a hard trick, but he somehow got his face in the way. So that's absolutely as a concern, defensively. Particularly going to play against Manchester United, who have a very exciting dynamic attacking attack in the forward lane. So yes, I don't see how they're going to fix it to be honest. Unless they all of a sudden change the whole the personnel, particularly saying, a bike, my teach seems to be the guy that the relying on can not here. I don't know where the volcano is somewhere. I don't know where this guy is. I don't think I've seen him play yet. And Joe Gomez as good as him and Van Dyke were 18 months ago before his injury, they were fantastic. He doesn't seem to get a game either sent a bike so I am worried defensively for Liverpool, yes. No, well, let's take a look at how Group B is shaping up after the third loss of games. Liverpool on top with 9 points so far, wins in all of their games, Athleta and parto with a four points each behind them and part of the Milan in the other game and so Milan not doing well at all in the Champions League so.

U.S. Soccer Offers Men's, Women's Teams Identical Contract Proposals

"Us consideration is offering the women's national team identical terms to the men in terms of contract from the federation But the women who are appealing an equal pay lawsuit. This is a long ongoing situation. Said just a publicity stance what what. What do they mean. What's what's going on. This is a really really complicated. We've mentioned before. Show the should be complicated issues. I what really annoys me is people just without having any understanding to say equal pay equal pay. No because it's a lot more complicated than that. The reason the women said this is a publicity stunt is because the women aren't a very different situation to men when it comes to when it comes to equal pay because for example most of the men get their entire healthcare recovered they play for professional most of them in europe and stuff and they get a lot more benefits from playing for the national club. Which a lot of the women who might play in the wwl less money they don't necessarily received so you can't treat them one hundred percent equally. That's not what the women are asking

"Is just putting current coaches through the ringer tv. And i think golly had to admit that obviously that wasn't the plan but liverpool were just more dynamic They cover the area of the pitch. Better they press better find probably qualitatively They have an edge as well when all those things come together. is really really hard for them to go in and play against You know might have approached the game differently if they'd had one of the two Big center forward. Starting whether there's or or or live you room. Maybe hold the ball up a little better but even then you know that can't be an excuse. This game was far more. One sided and the scoreline. But you take the positive you take the positives of the reaction you do take the positive of the fact that the second half some of the defending from tomorrow i saw was very good and you go on and live to fight another day. I mean it's been a long long time since lost in the champions league. Yeah how did look to you. frank Well i mean. I enjoy the investment. I enjoy the intensity of the game and how liverpool engaged the the game. Everything for me was absolutely spot-on. Yeah actually liverpool has an incredible number of important historic buildings if you walk along the waterfront. It's incompatible with almost anywhere else in the uk. Certainly. it's just incredibly beautiful and doesn't quite get credit that it deserves a beautiful city but absolutely livable stands up there with the best in the world and part with being awarded world heritage status was to recognize the sheer amount of these extraordinary beautiful historic buildings. But also how well they've been conserved the decades. There's been two world wars that's been a period of serious economic decline. So it was. It was to say well done to the city of liverpool for recognizing your heritage and looking after these buildings so well over the years through the gates. I was in port that nearly ninety ships waiting to be loaded or unloaded the other thing that will host each census recognize is livable place in the world in the eighteenth and nineteenth century. Isn't it like it's not all to be celebrated. I mean the full did pay a central role in the transatlantic slave trade and a lot of the city's wealth was bound up in it. Wasn't it huge amount of the traffic. That came through liverpool's pause walls connected to the slave trade. That's hugely uncomfortable for for leaders now leaders decades ago. The city has tried to address this. There's a slavery history museum right by the port in in liverpool so they have taken steps to not sweep this under the carpet but to try and educate people around what exactly happened and it's really not horrific slave trade when did it emerge that liverpool's place on unesco's list was looking shaky. The first warning for liverpool came in two thousand six. This was only two years after the was was placed on the world heritage list and this was about plans to bill liverpool museum and three of the buildings near the the three graces. On liverpool's waterfront unesco were originally concerned that the buildings will be so high that they would look out of character they sent a heritage mission to liverpool which means that they just basically sent a group of inspectors to walk around the city and they came away with the conclusion that that wasn't what they called imminent danger to the historic value. But it was essentially the first warning.

It was one of the most important parts in the world and forty percent of global trade pass through stocks britain doorways to and from the rest of the world and actually is also a fraught history.

Will Liverpool, Leicester or Chelsea Qualify for the UCL?

"Let's start at. What was i think. Effectively may not turn out to be this way chelsea could still go out but a play off for the champions league between chelsea and leicester city it's bridge was a replay of the game on saturday. Then you have a cup final Homemade some not all of the same choices including putting my man reese james in the back three convince And chelsea one. I think in the end it was to wind. And you could say maybe you're gonna start at the end but i thought chelsea really really dominated the day. That was their god. They were after they were really fantastic at times. In the way they build up the movement away from the back under pressure at times. I still alice the plate for draw. And maybe i'm wrong. Maybe that's not. That was the idea. But he's certainly felt like that in in the team that selected with natural on the bench in the way they played in the weather priced. Look to me via merged lockheed. Very happy with that was fair well. Madison came in. So we can have madison. I thought was really poor. I don't think he's fully fit. Maybe no he's on your hard if you play for a draw to to have my against a team like this against him chetty like this to to to expect too much from madison. Nothing the upshot of all this is that we're set up for one of those end of the season kinda three way runs but three-way dances chelsea are playing away to aston villa. A win guarantees them. A champions league. Place is only going to be easy at all we'll get on to this lester. I'm liverpool liverpool beating burnley three now essentially if they both way and they're gonna finish level on points it's going to be decided by goal difference and liverpool now have an edge of four goals in the goal difference so so liver put up again chris perez. That's right liverpool roy. Hodgson his final his final game. He loved to put one over liverpool and less spurs. Who can still still have to play for your petty place. Yeah so clearly lester. Greatly advantage giving. Now just kidding kidding

The attacking outfield players. Don't bother with the goalkeeper. That's coming forward. It rarely works but it was such an athletic header. It was such a leap and he snapped back his neck and powered at pastime johnson. Think about it how. Good johnston being in that game. No one to get past them. None of liverpool's array of field attacking players could do it. But it's the goalkeeper who was hugely emotional after the game. The last few months few weeks with his father passing in in in tragic circumstances in brazil really came to the surface condemn. You gave a pretty pretty special post-match a conversation to to sports so what a moment moment of the season. I think in the primarily in a season that has been lacking in moments. "Concentrated enough on the controversy. I'm glad at even doubt because it shouldn't be that big of a talking point because chelsea were very clearly better than the reigning. Premier league champions. Now i know the primarily champions are hurt have been hearing that all year. I wasn't hearing that as much when they were in first and people were laughing at me for my figured out take now. They're injured even though a lot of players are coming back. I think this is a situation. Where some of these players are just on the downside of their career. I'm getting more of a representative sample here before we highlight mason mount because i will wear it. I haven't been public about some of my criticisms but we've all been there a little frustrated heck even before that absolute stunner of a goal. There were some frustrating moments there and he's showed his clinical finish ability under thomas to go. We will absolutely highlight that and give mason mountains proper. Do let's focus for a brief moment on the reigning champs every week. We're asking what's wrong with liverpool. This is obviously start to finish. I was analyzing what. I'd seen there and these players just don't strike fear in my heart the way that they used to. They're lacking that. It's funny because in the in the final stages i was. I was so worried. Because i saw that crass i saw the red the red kits. I'm like they're going to somehow in these final minutes. And then i realized trust the process. Your is haven't been lying to you over the last few weeks. This is who liverpool are now. I cannot believe they are a team that might not be in a european competition next year. I still think that maybe writes itself up a bit. But what are the answers. You make legitimately this is crazy to say but there is chatter about the man losing his job right now when liverpool or having their best run in my lifetime and i wanna champions like this is their best run in my lifetime. What's the answer here for your clubs. Liverpool is it not being jurgen klopp's liverpool because it's not like they aren't high pressing. It's unlike they aren't getting into good positions but there just is something lacking and again. It's it's a final third creativity that normally you'd trust saudi-omani in a moment like that muhammad solid berto for me. No even alexander arnold robertson. You gotta go back to early. Two thousand seventeen almost four years ago for the last time liverpool lost a premier league game at anfield. "I think this is definitely like we've said before a new mentor. She United I say a gritty drawl but for Liverpool. I think they're really going to try and go for it. And I think you're really going to see how. Soak shores men like really recover, especially coming off the PS g match how they bounce back from that. Yeah. I without with the risk of sounding over dramatic. I think this really is the title rate here. I think if United is able to hold Liverpool to a draw or get that victory over Liverpool. Then I think city will be able to go to the end of the season and Liverpool kind of has that doubt in the back of their mind that that loss to their their biggest rival in history in the back of their mind. And then on the flip side of things Liverpool's able to beat Manchester United and beat them soundly, I think that confidence is going to allow them to go on a pretty incredible run to the end of the season. So I think this this is a incredibly important game due to tidal implications and then for each club individually as well, I think if Mench has wins this game, and then soap joy is going to be announced as the permanent manager. And then on the flip side of things if Liverpool wins this game, they're going to have mad confidence. Going into the Champions League match up in the next two weeks. So I think this is a crazy important game. I don't think it's going to be a one one draw. I think it's going to be a two one victory to Liverpool. But I think this is going to be pretty exciting new. Yeah. I really do. I think. I don't think. Now, proud of you. Thank you. I don't think mentioned has looked boring under social yet. And so I don't think that they are going to change that anytime soon more shell is fifty fifty four the game this weekend. Jessie Lynn is still out. So at the very least Radford and lingered arrests for them marchisio can make some magic happen up front. So I think this is going to be a fun game to watch. I think it's going to be a close game to watch a lot closer than the last matchup between United and Liverpool. But I will say I think United has a bit more confidence that Liverpool going into this match. It is at home for United. They did just come off that two zero victory over Chelsea while Liverpool is coming off a short week when they played Byron and drew on Tuesday. So I think this this game is going to be fun. I can't fucking wait for it. I think it's super important. And I'm I'm. Nervous excited, which is a new feeling for me. I felt the same thing again. It's she usually I'm just like oh, fuck me. We're playing top six lane. And a fantastic team. We're going to be embarrassed. We're gonna play super foreign conservatively. But that's not the new mentioned nodded. So I'm excited for this game. I'm nervous for this game. I just hope that Manchester United's defense is able to hold off that deadly front three duo from Liverpool. Yeah, I'm very curious. How soak shar will match you up against Liverpool. And the big thing is going to be can Liverpool shutdown Pogue because like we said a million times. And I'm going to sound cliche. I'm gonna sound very generic. But like your team runs through Paul Paul GPA. So if will now to Henderson can find a way to shut down that behemoth in that midfield, Paul Paul GPA. Did I think you guys are going to be in for a rough day not saying you can't win? But I mean without Paul being a vital source of delivering those long balls or just pushing the ball up the field. I think it'll be a rough day. I also think maybe SOX are. Does pull back a little bit.
