The "fair Share" Myth

"Let's get back to criticism of mister Joe slo-mo Joe creepy Joe, geriatric Joe Biden, who got up at the State of the Union and really made a fool of himself, but let me just say this. I want to be honest with you guys. People that like him don't care what he's saying. They want him to say whatever they can use as a sound bite to say, see, look, he did create jobs. Climate change, that stuff ain't even real. They're using political talking points in order to leverage you for the next election or the leverage you to spend your money or leverage you to turn this country into socialism. And communism. When I hear a person say, and this as a business owner, when I hear somebody say, big corporations need to pay their fair share, do you not understand how many taxes big corporations pay and they allow people to pay? It's just me, I'm like, I smile company. I think we got like 12 employees. We got like 9 employees and then we got a few other contractors. I look at that what I have to pay. The taxes that I have to pay on their behalf. It's called payroll taxes. And how much taxes I have to pay, the company has to pay, you know how much money we pay in the government. And these people come here, they got to pay state taxes well. It makes no sense. And imagine one of these major corporations, like Amazon, you know what I mean, people work for Amazon? Do you know how many people are paying taxes? Not only for the services, they got to pay sales tax. And then the employees are getting paid. The company has to pay payroll tax. And being the individual people when they buy stuff outside of Amazon, they have to pay tax. They have to pay state tax. All of these taxes, everywhere you go your money getting taxed, you die, you get taxed. Kids are born, and I don't know if they charge you. I didn't look at the Bill. When your baby's born and they put all that stuff on, they charge the insurance company. I don't know if they add tax on that. Maybe they do. Or maybe they just roll it into the price. Somebody paying tax on some of that money.

"Know there's this thing in politics any astute observer of the political scene will tell you It's jokingly called the big moment It's not a joke it's very real and since for momentum Political momentum is a real thing You can feel it with a candidate You felt it with Donald Trump after he came out of New Hampshire with the 2016 election Something's going on here These elections the rally I've had these primaries the rallies he could win this thing Before I remember sit true story I remember sitting in a Fox green room With God rest his soul Charles krauthammer and others Trump had just announced he had done an event in Maryland I think it was a red white and blue dinner He had announced not that long before And I remember a bunch of people in that old Fox green room in D.C. not the one in New York the small one that had the yellow paint on the walls Have you been there Maybe did it since It was tiny So you'd like squeeze in there were like three seats in there And crowdhammer was in there too And I'll never forget everybody laughing at the idea that Donald Trump would be president And I'm sitting there in the green room and I gotta tell you I'm like no you guys got your hands on the pulse right here I'm not going to fake the funky okay It's not like I thought the guy was going to be president at the time I thought but I thought there was a darn good chance And I remember saying are you really sure Because he had the big mo The big mo momentum is a real thing That McCarthy keeps each successive vote It's getting worse for him You know at some point folks we had an expression of the Secret Service It's time to pull chalks Time to pull shocks and let that plane take Oh it's time to go You know and don't tell me like oh well you don't have an alternative on the conservative side We have presented alternative We presented Andy Biggs in round one you didn't like him He got 6 votes Presented Jim Jordan in round two I don't know what he got Ten 15 Now we just presented Byron Donald So I'm sorry but I'm not going to be lecturing like oh you guys don't have an option We have an option You just don't like them

Why Didn't Trump Bring Paul Whelan Home?

"You know, I want us to be in the informed group of people. And you know, Tucker Carlson and made mention on the show that waylon, the reason he didn't come back is because he's a Trump supporter. And they believe that slo-mo Joe creepy Joe geriatric Joe did not want to bring him back as punishment to him being a Trump supporter. But you know, I would love to hear what Tucker Carlson has to say because I didn't see a segment I'm just reading the article about it. But I really I really want Trump to explain why he didn't bring whaling back. I want to know what would happen in. Because I'm telling you, this is the thing. Leftists say some of the stupidest things. Some people come on my social media and they say the dumbest things that I've ever heard, they come on my social media and they go, you working for the white man. You were somebody said something crazy. Like I'm taking money from somebody and I'm like, I wish I wish they offered me some money. I probably would have taken. But they say things and they could not be further from the truth. And I always want to make sure I'm not that guy. And this weyland situation, after my wife did some digging, I said, well, hold on, hold on. I didn't know that Trump had an opportunity, and he did his prisoner swap and did not get waylon. I didn't know that. And so I want to know why Trump didn't get him. Because it's the same reason why Trump didn't get him Biden and get him, then we can't criticize Biden. Because if Putin said, go screw yourself, when Trump tried to do it, and then he told Biden to go screw yourself, then what's the difference?

If investors insist on trying to time their moves in stock markets, said Warren Buffett almost 20 years ago, they should be fearful when others are greedy and greedy only when others are fearful. It is good contrarian stuff. And the time honored depiction of markets in the permanent push pull grip of these two animal spirits. "The other things that are on the ballot, remember the parental issues and concerning public schools, all the trans nonsense. This is, remember this? The stuff that happened, the trans teaching, all of the CRT, these teachers trying to brainwash our kids and school, consider this in Virginia, in Virginia, back in 2020, very short period of time, very short period of time ago, Trump lost in Virginia by ten percentage points. But a year later, young and won. Young and won, so I'm so curious to say, to see what happens. Not to mention. Not to mention inflation. I'm not going to insult to you by talking about inflation. Incessantly because I know you're feeling it. I know you know what it is every time you go to the grocery store, you go to fill up your gas tank, everything is more expensive. You get it. You get it, your dollar isn't going as far. Your dollar is completely worthless. I feel not, I shouldn't say completely worthless, but if Democrats stay in power, it may be completely worthless. And man, the Democrats threw us another bone. They threw us another bone. They went after Steve Bannon today. And I think this is really silly on their part. I think this is a major era on the left part. Because instead of catering or sliding to the middle, if you will, instead of triangulating, they're doubling down on tyranny basically, right? And people are seeing this. People have seen how some people call it a two tier justice system. I don't think it's a two tier justice system. If you're a conservative, you're screwed. If you're Steve Bannon, you go to you go to jail, but if you're dang chanko, you get to walk free.

"Can we not see this coming? I see it from a mile away. They don't want to pay for your school 'cause they love you. 'cause they care about your education. They want to indoctrinate you. If the government is paying for your school, they're gonna pick what you learn. Have you ever been to the military? You can suggest what you want your MOS to be, but according to your testing, they're gonna pick your MOS for you. In many cases. And if you ain't that smart, you feel to do what they tell you to do. Or your education is not paid for. Or they can say, you know, we only pay for your education at these universities. Oh, only the liberal universities that's going to indoctrinate you and make you crazy. Pray for pre care. Preschool. That's what they pitch. We want to pray for priests. We're going to pay for preschool. Government should fund and preschool should be free. Why? Because if they somehow fund preschool, they can then tell preschool what to teach your kids.

Senator Hawley Blasts FBI Director Wray for MO Conceal Carry Audits

"There are very few people in Washington D.C. of which I will give praise to, but this senator has just been phenomenal at every single fight every corner every turn. He just did a very courageous vote. He was the only senator to vote against NATO expansion. But I don't want to start with that. I first want to welcome senator hawley. Welcome back to the program. Hey, thanks for having me, Charlie. So I want to start with this tape of you with FBI director Christopher wray. Where you ask him, why is the Federal Bureau of Investigation asking for concealed carry information? This one stuck out to me. I want to lead with this. Let's play cut 53, and then explain it to our audience, please. Play cut 53. But the sheriffs of Missouri say in 2018 is that the FBI did not request concealed carry records. You are requesting it this year and the state of Missouri only the sheriffs have these concealed carry records because Missouri law explicitly forbids concealed carry permit information to be turned over to state officials or to federal officials. I just want to understand why it is the FBI is now seeking from our sheriffs, and we're talking about multiple sheriffs who have commented who have contacted me, who have contacted other state officials who have spoken to the press, saying that the FBI is now asking for the names of concealed carry permit holders in the state of Missouri. Why is that if you've not done it before? I don't understand. Well, again, I'm going to have to look deeper into to give you a more full answer to your question. Yeah, look deeper into it. Senator, your thoughts. Well, that just means that he doesn't want to explain. He doesn't want to be on the hook. The truth is, Charlie, what it looks like to me is retaliation. Right now, the Biden administration is suing the state of Missouri over Second Amendment protections. And then all of a sudden, at about the same time, the FBI comes into Missouri and says that sheriffs say, give us give us the list of all your concealed carry permit holders. I mean, maybe that's coincidence. I kind of doubt it. The fact

If you look at his ratings from RealClearPolitics, shows it his approval rating is under 40%. Actually, it's 39.7, the lowest mark that he's been at with an average of 55% disapproval, Biden's approval ratings were lower than Donald Trump's approval ratings at this time during the Trump administration.

Mo Brooks: There Should Be Further Investigation About 2020 Election

"I watched your appearance on Fox with Sandra Smith And I thought you articulated a pretty strong case that at a minimum representative Brooks there was some definitely some shenanigans in 2020 We had of course in Pennsylvania the acceptance of ballots after election day which is in violation of how elections are supposed to be conducted We also had the 2000 mules movie with the geo tracking and yet Sandra Smith said that had been debunked but that hasn't been debunked sir At all the 2000 mules movie had a lot of strong evidence that ballot harvesting was used and could have corrupted the results I was with dinesh d'souza yesterday and we did one of those I guess they're called podcasts And it's not enough evidence on its surface by itself to prove a criminal offense to the standard approved which is beyond a reasonable doubt to a moral certainty but it is plenty of evidence that should trigger a lot of serious investigations by district attorneys across the United States of America and attorney generals across the United States of America In order to determine whether with a proper criminal investigation you're able to go forward with a grand jury indictment or arrest warrants and then present that evidence to a jury for a final resolution Dosta sees that he did a very good job as someone who's in the media someone who's a producer of these kind of documentaries raising enough questions that I would hope that prosecutorial agencies around the United States would get that ball and run with it We'll see whether it goes any further than it has Right now there seems to be some hesitancy on the part of criminal investigative agencies to do their job

Mo Brooks: Investigators Should Investigate Ballot Mules

"No this is a really important topic to me And the fact that Sandra Smith had said Reuters debunked it was ridiculous Reuters did nothing of the sword Reuters has an opinion congressman that the geo tracking used for the ballot mules may only be accurate to whatever 6 to 12 inches if own tracker but that's not been the position of the courts You know John Roberts himself said that the geo tracking used was the equivalent of an ankle monitor meaning they had a good idea where these ballot meals were going to and this is the kind of thing the media and law enforcement used to be interested in Like what happened Well investigators ought to be questioning the individuals who made these stops on a regular basis And what appears on the 2000 mules documentary to be a highly suspicious set of circumstances If the individual has a good explanation with why the individual did what the individual did then fine But if not then the criminal investigators ought to carry it further And perhaps to a grand jury perhaps to warrant magistrate to get a warrant magistrate but there's little more important than honest and accurate elections if you purport to be a republic And we are a republic so we have to make sure we have honest and accurate elections It's as simple as that And that means that voter fraud has to be attacked aggressively wherever there is evidence to indicate that it occurred

"And then when we printed all that money and spent it and we didn't have the supply chain to back it up of course the prices of the products went up Is any of this rocket science I mean this was taught to you when you went to school for economics correct Like this was very predictable By way of background I graduated with distinction and economics at duke university So I do have some education in economics And I have looked at economic issues for decades now of course you've got Jimmy Carter with the economic malaise associated with his administration and the inflation that we have today And I've been advising people that it's only a matter of time before these bad economic policies come back to bite us The difference between the economic malays and Jimmy Carter is much of that was inflicted from without with OPEC doing what they did and monopolizing all production and artificially jacking up prices What's happening now These are all self inflicted wounds When you have a $30 trillion debt you borrow $7 trillion of the last three years alone That's going to devalue the value of the U.S. dollar which in turn means you got to pay more dollars to buy whatever it is you're going to buy And then you add on to it the very bad response to COVID where we attacked our own economy we paid people not to work but what happens when you pay people not to work that interrupts the supply chain not as much as on the shell So you have to pay more in order to get it And it doesn't end with that there are other things I'll give you another example The Biden administration day one attacked energy production for energy that's going to be consumed in the United States of America That cuts down on the supply of energy particularly oil what's the net effect of that That drives that pricing So all of this is economics one O one so long as you don't go to the same university that AOC went to

At the apex of the Orioles way. Now the Orioles had a no hitter in 1991, but four different those pictures combined on it, So this is the first time More than 50 years that one Orioles pitcher threw a solo no hitter. He was one batter away from a perfect game and should have had it. But the third strike in the third inning was dropped by the catcher. Allowing the runner to get on. And then he was quickly picked off. And so John means actually faced the minimum number of batters. Now. This is extraordinary because John Means was an 11th round draft pick and didn't become a regular starting picture for the Orioles until he was 26 years old. This day and age. You do not suddenly stumble across a starter when he's 26. That's not the first time you go. Oh, you know what this guy could be our every day or every fifth day guy. But John Means began his career as a starting pitcher at 26 in the majors after 11 round draft pick career in the minors and has become their ace. It Means says constantly kind of Good question about whether he's a true ace or not, But let me read to you this amazing opening paragraph from Tyler Kettner of The New York Times who covers baseball. Throwing a no hitter you could say is like a lassoing the moon. You can see the distant glow beckoning and teasing all at once. Can you really get there? Probably not. But you can dream. On August 13th 1969 Jim Palmer made the giant leap for the Baltimore Orioles with nine no hit innings against the A's. It was the same day Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins glided up Broadway and down Michigan Avenue for ticker tape parades in New York and Chicago. Followed by a state dinner with President Richard M. Nixon in Los Angeles. Palmer. Now 75 years old has never been to the moon, of course. But the no hitter broadened his universe in a way. No other Oriole had experience until Wednesday, when John Means became the first Baltimore pitcher since Palmer To toss a complete game. No hitter. Means subdued the Mariner six Oh, With 12 strikeouts and no walks in Seattle. A brilliant piece of writing by a really great baseball writer Tyler Kattner of The New York Times, and it just speaks to how amazing the feet was and how long it had been since something like that. Had happened and I have to say I couldn't help but think of little more. When I saw this Mo was an amazingly die hard Baltimore Orioles fan and in fact, I've got a painting of Mo next to me right now at this desk that I have watched over the show, and he's in his Orioles hat and his Orioles jersey. I've got a little mo bobble head directly to my left is well and on that he's got an orange T shirt on and Oreos hat and he was just The biggest Orioles fan ever, and they're just sometimes that a little Sprinkle magic in there that Sometimes makes me wonder what Mo has his hands in that day. But Josh Graham is a radio host and his father is an enormous Orioles fan. And his dad is fighting covert right now, in a rally I see you. And Josh tweeted this out, he said. There's no sports team. My dad loves more than the Orioles and as he's fighting Cove ID The ICU. He just watched John means tossed the oriolesfirst no hitters in 69. He just sent me this video, and now I'm an emotional wreck. In the video. Is his dad hooked up to breathing tubes in a bed with the Orioles game. Switching the phone between the TV screen and his reaction. And he's like on the verge of tears. He's like, Oh, my God! It happened. I can't believe he did it. His dad. Is on the verge of tears watching somebody else pitched a no hitter. Which in and of itself is why sports still matters. Sport will always matter. Is because it moves us to feelings. We don't normally tap into and sometimes can't describe can explain. But I just said, Gosh, there's There's a little bit of there's a little something in this. There's a little Sprinkle pixie dust in this inn. Not sure if MO has any sign already say or whatever, but Just some things that happened in sports and specifically some things that happened with with some teams that you just kind of know there's There's a little bit of the Unexplainable in this This day is absolutely about John means it about his journey in about What he's been able to accomplish. And when you saw him jumping around at the pitcher's mound after the No, no There is this unbridled joy That also is, I think Underscored by.

That was that a young man 12 years old in Athens, Georgia, lost his family in a house fire recently. He had lost his mother, his sister and his grandmother in this blaze in Athens, Georgia, and that it of itself is just devastating to think about. Obviously all circumstances involved. "Motorcycle, RV your boat visit progressive dot com So before all that buck in your defense kicked in yesterday chief scores the first points of Super Bowl 55. But then here's the staff out of the gun play action. Fake Pastor Brown County. He's gonna score a touchdown. Tough stuff. Tampa Bay. Holy Graca ball, Gene Decker half on bucks radio. I hadn't heard Holy Gronk. Um, only before. Is that new for the Super Bowl, and I missed that during the regular season. No, we played a lot of Decker Huff. I don't remember him saying that either. I got to say not one of my favorites. Yeah, Growing did score again Midway through the second quarter of any Antonio Brown made a 21 6 just before halftime with a one yard TD catch that came after that chief decision to call time out on third and two at the Bucks. 37. Hopefully gonna stop had time to school before intermission, But Tampa Bay converted. Then those two p I calls, put the ball at the one and then the brown touchdown. Catch the Bucks, then never threatened the second half, winning their second Super Bowl. 31 9. Bruce Arians just sat back and watched offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich and D. C. Todd Bowles do their things. Byron in a great great job. I thought of just mixing up, running past and impounding them when we needed to, and Todd had a great plan. Keep him in front of us Let her front for get after them, and they chased him around. And that defense sends up giving Patrick Mahomes his first loss by more than one scores and NFL QB is the first time his offense didn't score a touchdown since at least high school. According to my home's himself, And then there's Tom Brady 21 to 29 201 Yards, three touchdowns for Title number seven and M V P number five. Anchorage to Atlanta, took coma to Tampa, Kalamazoo and water the way around the air. Everything we're saying be a everything that we come to you live from the rocket mortgage studios when you need certainty and the whole buying process with a loan that fits your life. Rocket can Well. That was dissatisfying, even if you're a Buccaneers fan. We thought we would get drama Fireworks. Late Game scores. Brady versus Mahomes some type of last second heroics and instead That was a complete dud. Mostly because that bucket ears defense was out of sight. What a dominant epic performance by Todd Bowles Group of Guys of the decider of the defensive side of the football and the Chiefs. And Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid's offense had never looked that impotent that bad that sluggish that ineffective. We will discuss and dissect every single angle of a yesterday's thoroughly dominant bucket ears. Super Bowl Championship victory Coming up this morning on the show, Tyler Dunn's gonna join US, one of the best long form feature writers in the NFL today. He'll join us little over an hour from now. Also, it's a momentous Monday. So in 40 minutes of feel good story in honor of our friend, Little Mo. From Super Bowl Week in Tampa. By the way, anybody see little more was in the stands yesterday, most cut out Was down in Raymond James Stadium watching the Super Bowl, so he was cackling and laughing, having a good time watching the game as a cardboard cut out last night, which was awesome. Will do momentous Monday coming up in 40 minutes. Also Super Bowl commercials. Connor Green is in this morning. He'll be in all week long and so Connor will count down his favorite and least favorite. Commercials from the Super Bowl coming up at the end off next hour. We'll talk about everything surrounding last night's Super Bowl 55. I am sure there are plenty of you that want to jump in on the phones, and let's do that. Connor's manning the phones this morning, 855. 2124, CBS. 855 to 1 to 4 to 27, also on social media. We posted prop bets for you guys. Before last night's game, it was football events. Football numbers versus piggish events more as is numbers. Tacos eaten beers. Slug. Cup. Cates mauled all of these things we posted as potential prop bets so we will great out those prop bets coming up in our number four. Actually our number three so a lot to get to this morning on the show. But obviously we begin with the story of the night. Tom Brady was good. Tom Brady won m v P People want to talk about Tom Brady Seventh championship, and obviously, that's amazing accomplishment that I don't think we'll ever be touched. I know that Tony Roma and others were kicking around the idea of how many of these games Wilma Homes being Mahomes, Kenny Chase down Tom Brady's numbers Look Just think that that's incredibly irresponsible to project. Patrick Mahomes into six or seven or eight more Super Bowls. Because then we act as though if he doesn't his career is gonna be lesser than Brady's numbers are singular, his ratings, his records his history, his legacy that is just Tom Brady. That's like Bill Russell. He put it out of sight. No quarterback in my lifetime is gonna win seven Super Bowls. It's not gonna happen. So that's an incredible accomplishment Last night, it is more history. He's distancing himself from anybody ever being able to even sniff his records in the Super Bowl. But last night just wasn't about Tom Brady. This is not to take away from an amazing season for him at age 43. This is just not about Tom Brady last night. The most explosive offense that we have in the NFL, led by a quarterback that has never had a bad day. We've just never seen it. Patrick Mahomes has never scored single digits. It is three years as a starter. He has never not been in double digits. And you have to go back to October of 2019. For the last time, the chief's defense didn't at least have a 20 point effort. Last night. Not only did Patrick Mahomes not hit double digits, not hit 20 points. He didn't hit double digits, but he didn't score a touchdown. That's the first time that's ever happened from homes. He's never not scored a touchdown. Last night was really not about Tom Brady. Last night was about Todd Bowles is defense, and it was about G P p Dhammika NSU. Levante, David and Devon White. And the defense that absolutely strangled the chief's offensively. And it was about something that we circled and many others did. Dating back to two Mondays ago. After the A F. C an NFC championship games. I'll remember this for a zloty as we do this show. The cold Open out of One of the first shows two weeks ago. Was. Well, what about this chief's offense of life? How did the bucks pull this off? It is where we begin your cold, Open gate. Afford to the 11 yard line. There's the snap. Mahomes running to his right, look out. He may run my home directory. So the battle intercepted picked off of the eurozone bucks. I gotta beat the chief. We're the champions of the world that we still have a minute 33 to go. Devon White one, a great second season. The all American from L S U Rookie.

"14 years old. They changed the world by just being a bright light of positivity. We need more of that. So much negativity, somebody people in positions of influence. Feel absolutely no regard for making things better, but instead simply empowering themselves. And when I see bright lights of positivity and people that are selfless and actually want to do the right thing, it's inspiring. Because we're surrounded by a lot of people that are simply looking to get by through manipulating others. And enrich themselves. So when I look at People that really stand apart from that. It's it's worth taking a moment and really recognizing them. And little Mo yesterday would've been his 15th birthday. Passed away back in July. But in just 14.5 years on Earth, man, did he do a lot more? Oh Woz, the Super fan in Baltimore, and he did so by calling up both. He was blind since the age of nine months old because of cancer in his retina, which ultimately kept coming back, kept coming back him coming back and took his life back in in July, but It's one of the reasons that I love radio is that this gets to be theater. This gets to be a television show in your mind that theater of the mind that creativity Is what I've always loved about Radio and for Little Mo. He really got into it because this this was his universe Sports radio. He could hear everything. He didn't have to see anything on the radio. So yesterday last night, my friend Jeremy Kahn, who's the host down in Baltimore. Held kind of Ah, tribute memory for Little mo on what would have been his 15th birthday and I joined him last night. We talked on the show about what Moe means to me. And there's a big reason why we have momentous Monday is because I don't want to forget the type of impact and Moe had on my life and what I believe he's had on a lot of other lives as well. And his great lesson to me was that You get to choose. How you approach every single day. That sounds simple, but here's what I mean. I think in life when people say, boy, I had a great day. It's because something good happened to them. They got a promotion at work or ah girl that they like to a guy that they liked called the back or texted them or dm them or Something happened Great in the family. They were so proud that their child did something or just something went right that day for them, But that was a great day. And we're kind of Conditioned to think that those great days happen when there's a confluence of events that affect us that all go our way. And most flips that narrative he flipped that story for me. Because what he said is it doesn't matter what happens to you. You're great day can be every day if you choose it. His mom when they dedicated Mo gabba way outside of the Ravens stadium in December, and I was there for that. Said one of the most impactful statements that will forever be just Right. They're registered in my brain. And that is Mo treated every day like it was the best day of his life. Boy. About how powerful that is. Treated every day like was the best day of his life. And little more had every reason to complain, but he never did. He laughed and he was joyous and happy, and I had asked him when I went down to visit him back in late June before he passed away. So where'd you learn that? Because I don't know. It just kind of came to me. Gotta work on it. He said. I remind myself every single day. Every single day. Go be happy. Sounds easy. It's actually hard, believe me, because I try and it still is elusive, but an incredible lesson. And so I was really proud that Jeremy wanted to remember Mo last night on most 15th birthday, and that's why we do momentous Monday. Every single Week here on the show Bo mentis, which he definitely woz, and I'm always looking for those bright stories and lights to remind everybody a world is good. Don't worry. We're gonna be ultimately fine. Even if you think we're in the middle of a disaster. And yesterday happened to not only be most birthday but also was the day that Kobe Bryant, it passed away so too pretty major events. And Last night. "With cancer at the ripe age of just nine months old, which took away his sight. He had cancer of the red. No. He ended up spending most of his 14 years on this earth in and out of hospitals estimated that about 75% of his life was spent in hospitals. Four different times. Cancer came back and just sapped him of so much of his physical health. And yet As his mom told me when they dedicated mo Gabba way back in. Early December and downtown Baltimore. He lived every day like it was the best day of his life. Think about that. How do you do that? How could you achieve that? Well starts within. And Little Mo Prove that well, you could have the absolute worst circumstances handed to you. And you get to choose. If you were day is bright, you get to choose If you love the people around you, you get to choose. If you have a positive I would look at attitude it if your life is a positive and loving one So today would be little most 15th birthday and I'll think about him today. I have a picture of him framed in my home office that they could stare as we get to see us do this show every single day and laugh. Which he always was so good at. And if you want to learn more about Little Mo, you can check out my nomad episode about him That's available on YouTube. I travel series, no matter which is my first name spelled backwards. Just search my name, and no matter you'll see the most latest episode is my trip down to Baltimore. About the dedication of Mo gabba way and what he meant to me and our story together here on the show. Was a long time listener and caller of ours dating back proof when he was eight or nine years old, so He's always been a huge part of the show, and that's why we like to play that laugh at the beginning of our number to every single morning to remind us to laugh. Now. Last night. LeBron James scores 46 points to beat the Cavaliers and LeBron is clearly not slowing down and LeBron also just won an NBA championship. Oh, I don't know about five weeks ago or so feels that way. We were just doing the math here. The fact is more as what was the date that they clinched the NBA championship over the Miami Heat. October 11th 2020 October 11th and this was what week of the NFL season Week five of the NFL. Week five of the NFL season. LeBron clinched his fourth NBA title. We're still in the middle of that NFL season waiting for the Super Bowl, and LeBron is back in a new season. Month under his belt, and I think the Lakers are 14 and four something like that What was happening in the world of sports and the D a. A show at that time. Well, I will tell you. This took place on a Sunday night. So going into the weekend. We sense this was coming. LeBron was gonna win that Thursday night on October 8th ta. The Bears beat the Bucks and Brady refused to shake Nick Foles his hand. Remember that was a major story. So we enter this Sunday. It is an amazing sports that you have the NFL wall to wall the NBA Finals and Oh, yeah. The baseball playoffs for the A. L. C s kicked off in San Diego and Randy arose, Arena hit a big order Rose Arena. The Rays beat the Astros in Game one, but that NFL slate leading into LeBron was unbelievable. Because, of course you had the only time this year Patrick Mahomes lost the game, The Raiders beat the Chiefs. 42 32. Also on that day, too, made his NFL debut and stunned before we knew they stunk. The 40 Niners 43 to 17 Remember that game when Miami went out there, and it was insane? Yeah. Bleeder that afternoon. The big game Giants cowboys that Prescott breaks his ankle. Now why does this all up Ryan will, Of course, be a show History will tell you This was the day I got really boozed up. It pops bar pretty good for China cowboy game watching all those NFL games and I had to put myself together. The piece together. A topic list as my wife was yelling at me to go to bed is not only in the finals, but the famous fucking Seahawks game happened That night, The Seahawks beat the Vikings 27 26, an absolute thriller. It should also be noted after I sobered up We got our first Tuesday night game of the year because that was the weekend. The Titans had that crazy covert situation, and they want to beat the bills on Tuesday night football that year, Right? All of that happened on the same weekend, same day that LeBron won the NBA Finals. It's not that long ago when he's already dropping 40 on the Cavs now Wow ruined a lot happening. A lot was happening this night. Sunday night morass had drank all day long. He sits down in front of his laptop to pound out the topic list. It is littered with misspellings, typos. It is just weaken. Tell right off the back. His wife, Danielle. Had realized just how toasted he was and started videotaping, recording it and then sent us the videos that we knew just how blitzkrieg Morales was Morales tried to explain it away now. I wasn't drunk. No, I was sobering up. No, I was just in a goofy mood. "Mo. Passed away back in July. Today would be little most 15th birthday, So keep him in your thoughts. As you make your way through today, Little Mo. Taught me a very valuable lesson, which is Nothing can make you happy. You get to make yourself happy. It's very empowering to think of that. So often times we're faced with adversities or difficult situations and we think to ourselves If only this was different. We could be happy. If only this didn't happen. We could be happy. But everything happened in adverse situations for a little mo. He was diagnosed with cancer at the ripe age of just nine months old, which took away his sight. He had cancer of the right now. If you were day is bright, you get to choose If you love the people around you, you get to choose if you have a positive outlook attitude it if your life is a positive and loving one So today would be little most 15th birthday and I'll think about him today. I have a picture of him framed in my home office that they could stare as we get to see us do this show every single day and laugh. Which he always was so good at. And if you want to learn more about Little Mo, you could check out my nomad episode about him That's available on YouTube. I travel Syriza Nomad, which is my first name spelled backwards. Just search my name, and no matter you'll see the most latest episode is my trip down to Baltimore. About the dedication of Mo gabba way and what he meant to me and our story together here on the show. Was a long time, listener and call or of ours dating back proof when he was eight or nine years old, so He's always been a huge part of the show, and that's why we like to play that laugh at the beginning of our number to every single morning to remind us to laugh. Now. Month under his belt, and I think the Lakers are 14 and four something like that What was happening in the world of sports and the D a show at that time? Well, I will tell you. This took place on a Sunday night. So going into the weekend. We sense this was coming. LeBron was gonna win that Thursday night on October 8th ta. The Bears beat the Bucks and Brady refused to shake Nick Foles his hand. Remember that was a good adventure story. So we enter this Sunday. It is an amazing sports that you have the NFL wall to wall. The NBA Finals. Oh, yeah. 42 32. Also on that day, too, made his NFL debut and stunt before we knew they stunk. The 40 Niners 43 to 17 Remember that game when Miami went out there and it was insane? Yeah. Later that afternoon, the big game Giants cowboys, Dak Prescott breaks his ankle. Now why does this all apply and will, of course, be a show History will tell you This was the day I got really boozed up pops far pretty good for China cowboy game watching all those NFL games and I had to put myself together to piece together. It's not that long ago when he's already dropping 40 on the Cavs now Wow. He's ruined a lot happening. A lot was happening this night. Sunday night, More acid drank all day long. But we knew the real deal because his eyes were nearly closed, and he was just Tackling and giddy and saying that they were gonna eat some dessert. Yeah..

"Rules and enter for free and Rocket Mortgage Square is Dad can Coming up this morning here on the show this hour we've got the Chicago Bears looking absolutely pitiful yesterday in New Orleans and in 40 minutes a momentous Monday In honor of Little Mo and his Ravens winning yesterday, which is awesome. And also because we like this hour to be a setup, a salute, you hear little most voice that open. So do that coming up in inspirational sports story with a very special playoff twist coming up here in about 40 minutes from now. But let's start this hour with what happened last night in Pittsburgh. As the Cleveland Browns. Had not won a playoff game since becoming the new Browns. You had to go back to 1994. You might have seen the video last night is they showed this on the NBC broadcast. Bill Belichick versus Bill par cells as the last Brown's playoff win in 1994 Bella check was coaching the Browns Parcels is coaching the Patriots and Drew Bledsoe was the quarterback in fact, We had Drew Bledsoe yesterday on Sunday morning football to talk about this game to talk about this state. The last time the Browns had won a playoff game had been a long time. And when you think about the pain that Browns fans had gone through since then You had Bella check being fired simultaneously as they moved they up and left the team, and nothing will be ever more painful than Browns fans losing of the Browns. Brown's end up moving to Baltimore, becoming the Ravens and winning a Super Bowl four years later. Uh, When they came back. Finally, as the new Browns they drafted Tim Couch bust. Courtney Brown bust Spin forward Trent Richardson bust Justin Gilbert bust. Brandon Weeden bust Go down the list of the coaches that have been fired every 20 minutes. The G M's. That was a carousel of new faces. The Johnny Mans L disaster. Freddie Kitchens and that nightmare Hugh Jackson going Oh, and 16 and one and 31. And their only playoff game as the new Browns happening. 18 years ago, I made a 17 point lead over the hated Pittsburgh Steelers and somehow blew it. That was all Brown's existence over the last 25 years. Pain after pain after pain after pain. And so this week I'll be honest. When I saw the news that Kevin's to fan ski, their head coach is not gonna be able to be on the sideline. And job. Antonio, Their best offensive lineman was not gonna be able to play both because of covert situations. I did not believe the Browns could win this game. I didn't. I didn't believe they could win this game. But I did believe that the Browns didn't come this far to lose this game in blowout, embarrassing fashion, And so if you listen yesterday, I did a radio dot com sports slashed the better You bet. Show with Sarah Perlman and Nick Costas. So we were going over the lines of the action of the weekend. And I specifically said, Look, I don't think the Browns when 18 years since the playoffs and they're going to get routed here. But they're going to lose in some type of dramatic, gut wrenching fashion and so take the Browns of the points. But I don't feel good at all about them being able to win a football game on the road of the playoffs. Without their head coach. And look, I could not have been more wrong on them being able to hang the W because from the first snap off the game It was not the ghosts of the brown some type of nerves or Some type of that experience. No. From the first half of the game last night. It was the Steelers. And they're sloppiness, the Steelers just being totally ill prepared for the moment. Look you've got Pouncey is one of the best centers and football. On the first map of the game. Shooting a rocket over Ben Rafa's burgers, head and better off this burger, who's going to be in the Hall of Fame One day on the first snap of the game, has a bouncing ball go over his head, and instead of just doing the smart thing swatted out of the back of the end zone, it's two points. And you live to see another day. Getting out of the way waiting for James Connor to try to slide on it at the one yard line, and then it being squirted free and the Brown scoring a touchdown. You just kick that puppy right out of the back of the end zone, and it's already going backwards. And it's too nothing fine. Instead, it's seven. Nothing and suddenly it's like Whoa! And then the errant throws. The deflected passes the interceptions and before you know it, the route is on a 28 Nothing now the Steelers club their way back into this game. But 28 nothing. You're never going to come back from unless you're Frank Reich and the other team is playing a run and shoot offense and doesn't realize that you can run the football. What happened in 1993 between the bills. The Oiler should never happen again, because you know people get smarter and realized. No, Let's not do that if we have a 28 point lead For the Browns last night. 28. Nothing did not feel like 28 nothing. 35 10 might not have felt like 35 10. But at the end of the day once you have a four score lead, you won't lose in that football game, And here's how the Browns iced it. Mayfield has got a white towel.

Cleveland Browns Pittsburgh Steelers Courtney Brown football Ravens Pittsburgh Drew Bledsoe Bill Belichick Rocket Mortgage Square Brandon Weeden Little Mo NBC Chicago Freddie Kitchens New Orleans Tim Couch Patriots Bears James Connor Oiler

"Single week we do this in honor of our friend, Little Mo, who did lose his eyesight as well. So Kind of cool to kick off 2021 with us with a story about those who have lost their eyesight, since Little Mo. Had done that when he was just nine months old, but certainly never never doused his enthusiasm for everything. Could hit us up on the phones at 855 to 1 to four CBS 855 to 1 to 4 to 27. We're on Twitter, D a on CBS. So a lot of a lot of attention paid last night to the Philadelphia Eagles and Doug Peterson's decision to yank Jalen hurts late in that game, basically laying down and losing the game as he put it in eight sub felled and the Eagles, of course, did lose that game, which increased their enhanced their draft position. To number six. Had they lost that Had they won that game, They would have a number nine. They lost that game for their number six. What I thought was pretty funny was that here you have Jalen hurts. Who's getting yanked? And you have, Nate said, felt who's going in. And there is Carson Wentz without shoulder pads on and an ear piece in looking like do I still have to be here? Can I leave it? And Carson Wentz, What's gonna get lost in this whole? Should Doug Peterson have tried to win type of conversation is that freaking? Carson Wentz pulled himself out of week 17. Pulled himself out doesn't want to be there. That the relationship is irreparably broken with Doug Peterson and I've got some real issues with this..
