"W M A l Where Washington comes to talk. Let's pick right up where we left off there with rust vote here. Beverly Hallberg where we talk about China and this this lab league and yesterday it incredible. Admission or, or at least a statement from the White House deputy press secretary announcing during the briefing that the Biden administration forget about the fact that they have now renewed the investigator. Let's start at the beginning here. Sorry. First the Bite administration ends the State Department's investigation into the origins of covert that happened a while ago on DNO house Suddenly because of increased media interest in the story, Suddenly, journalist has some level of curiosity over it. And the facts. Just keep supporting the idea that Oh, hey, maybe these big bio labs in Wuhan especially the only, uh, class four secured lab right there near the wet market. May that something to do with this, and science is here in America. Looking at the virus, saying this does not look like a natural occurrence, necessarily the animal to human transfer that we've been told now, Suddenly there's renewed interest. So the bite administration announced Oh, yeah, we may have ended that investigation, the State Department but now we want the intelligence community really get to the bottom of it. And then yesterday from the podium in the press room. They actually said that they have not ruled out that a lab leak may have been deliberate. From the communist Chinese. Government. That's That's huge, Beverly. Absolutely. Here. It's an abrupt change of events turn of events, and it's been fascinating to watch the media coverage of this who are going back and scrubbing what they said a year ago, when they were blasting anybody who would spread this what was so called a conspiracy Syria about the lab leak? That's right. Facebook, in fact, announced yesterday that they are now suspending their policy of deleting Challenges Tol comments that challenged the origin story of the virus and and speculate that it could have been a lab like it could have been man made, which, let's just that's what the headlines will tell you. Let's put it into real English. Facebook is now going to stop censoring. Act based opinion that they have been silencing and centering for the past year. Plus social media has completely lost any credibility with the American people at this point And they're going to allow people I guess to ask questions again. So there are facts being thrown around, and there are also people who were just sharing questions, because if something does impact the entire world shouldn't we ask lots of questions and try to get to the bottom of it? That's right. You would think so, by the way, following up on our conversation earlier in the week with James O'Keefe Whose project Veritas had a big story about that Facebook censorship this time with regard to vaccine hesitancy. Well, his whistle blower has now come out of the cloak of anonymity. Morgan Common is now speaking out on the record journalist cannot ignore this. He should be booked on Good Morning America. He should be booked on 2020. He should be able to tell his story. He was suspended by Facebook after they figured out that it was he who leaked this story, and Morgan common is now speaking out. On the record with project Veritas, and we'll have more to follow up on that story. But but to the point of the vaccines and again as social media policies conformed to what I don't know the overlords that either the New York Times or in the Democratic Party, tell them they're going to allow for conversations. We're now seeing Maurin more discussion about These vaccines that I know Beverly, you've been picking up on with regard to natural immunity. Yeah, there's a new study out from researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in ST Louis. And this is good news for anybody like me who had Cove it and has the antibodies Yet we still find that the government is insisting that we get a vaccine. Some of us have questions I have. I think I I'm protected because have anti bodies and what this study found. Is that quote months after recovering from my O cases of cove in 19, people still have immune cells in their body pumping out antibodies against the virus that causes Cove it 19. They went on to say that this could give you potentially lifetime protection from the virus. So this is good news for for two reasons. One is that it's great news for people who have Cove it, But it's also great news for people who haven't because this leads to herd immunity. If we consider those who have been vaccinated, which I believe is now over. 50% of adults have been vaccinated. Add the people who have anti bodies were looking. I think it over 85% of people who can't contract it. Covert anymore, or at least would have mild symptoms. If they did. Yeah, and, you know, listen, I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of all of the topics that we talk about my job to have a good understanding about all of these topics. So when I say I don't understand something I'm not being rhetorical. I'm not being too cute by half or just sort of using a device. I literally don't understand something here. If there was any sort of real danger or question as to whether somebody who has had a case of covert in the past might still be susceptible without a vaccine of catching this by This again. If that was a very real danger, wouldn't we have story after story after story of people who have been re infected? Oh, my gosh, this person, Beverly Hallberg had a terrible case of of covert 19 4 months ago was near death. And now Beverly Hallberg is infected again. This is such a deadly horrible virus of That would be every story on cable news. If this was a thing, and it is not Beverly, where are these? If it's such a danger, Where are these people who are systematically being re infected? And just like the Wuhan lab theory, which seems to be true. This is the conversation that has been silenced People who have spoken out about not wanting to get the vaccine because of this have been ridiculed. They've been silenced. They've been shunned. And why isn't the Biden administration and their C D C looking into this? Because if we need herd immunity, this is an important thing for us to find out. There's another aspect of vaccines that you're not allowed to talk about elsewhere. But here we talk about everything that matters to you, and that has to do with side effects complications, repercussions. Even death as a result of some of these vaccines and again that the numbers apparently based on reporting are are not astronomical, but they're not. Zero. There's not insignificant, especially if you're that individual or a family member of that individual who tragically succumbs to a malady because of the vaccine, and the latest is a high profile one. A radio presenter of radio as they call them presenters over there in England for BBC Lisa Shaw 44 years old after getting the vaccine, she died of a blood clot. Now this is the AstraZeneca covert vaccine, which is not widely available here in the United States. But that is another now probably the most high profile award winning radio host in in Britain. Who is now died as a result of a blood clot, apparently from the AstraZeneca vaccine. The big story. It continues to be and will follow every angle of it. That's why you come here to W m A L A 25 7 email traffic.

You can't. Exist doing his job like it's the idea of these like cartoon punches where no one ever apparently get seriously hurt but they're incapacitated like you can't just go around doing that. So. All right, man. What's going on with you? You know it's gonna be it's gonna be shit. See, you know, just a word of advice world, youngsters out there when you live, right? Do the right thing, right. Things happen. You get to retire. You're on your own, you'll way out beautiful. I've worked job turn into the Titanic. It's a beautiful. Dad being on that stage and how I would be like baby boy, but being able to explain and, and, and the minute the minute that started to talk about the kids accomplishment. So the kids breakdown, because, you know, it's hard to tell that kid every day, exactly how you feel. But, you know, you feel that way situations like that, where you have a chance to really let this kid know that look, I've been watching, I feel that this is why you'll be successful. This is why you'll get all that. You see the kids, just fall down. You know, people thing that's, that's one thing up all of that stuff. Lisa shaw. They worked hard all those years. A lot of us, we work with our kids and they're not going to be pros and may not even make high school. But you, you hope you just instill teamwork and camaraderie and just being a good good teammate and a good friend. And, you know, it bleeds into their careers in whatever they wanna do exactly, exactly. And then to talk about the Knicks, you know, I whether it's whether it's, you know, I think what we have here is we do have people that are patient. They wanna see the youngsters, we want us to something that's going to be around fulltime time way to do it is hopefully, the way these guys are the way they talk. And hopefully the way they are poaching. The situation affect that. We got leverage it. And I also believe that those I address that she talked about the Nicolini I think those dress browse those years. Weren't really good years. It was really five only. I think the last few years has gotten better. So I think it's only going to be beneficial to us, but speaking, but thanks. All right. Can hope for. It's a plan, you'd have to kid. You hope he develops nikolina didn't work out. Okay. That's a wasted pick. Knocks jury still out Barrett. We will see the guy next year will be somebody to have to keep adding these pieces and hopefully stick, and they wanna bay. They've been here, like three years, and they're only twenty three. They learned and made the playoffs. That's what you're looking for Richard in Manhattan. Richard. What's going on? Richard. Tony. Hey rigid. I was surprised draft south Florida play one game. I played a Duke game and Johnny bookings kid and that seven foot six kids from Africa. Taco fall played great. They hit won the game and need to kids. One game. Three plays in the country and they barely barely Pete, south Florida. I mean what do you think? What have been drifted? Yeah. I I don't know about, you know, one game guy taco fall is name is the Knicks looking at him but it's just bringing a lot of guys. I don't know if it's realistic. No, no. But I think, but if you if you can't teach seven foot six, but if you have to teach seven foot six how to play that might be too much time. To me pretty coordinated and a smart kid. He looked like he wasn't gangly. He was older. He was like in his mid twenties, so he well, anyway. Tony. Phil Regan why the uproar he's been a pitching coach or a roving pitcher. And it's not like they got him out of now. Understand. He was sitting on a couch and they took them. I mean he's eighty one. But he. Special surgery. I'm sure it's still doing surgery in the late seventy president and his mid seventy you John sterling at eighty one he hits. Four hours, sometimes the second half of a doubleheader. You know, I mean, I understand the H thing, but it's not like they just got him from somewhere anyways. You're right. He's been there. I'm sorry, sorry. He's been for a while. He's, he's. But, you know, you always talk about the generation gap, you know. I mean, are we going old school? I mean as Mark and I were talking they got rid of got rid of island because he was old school, though. He had championship ring and one of his charges won the Cy Young east last year. I mean, I remember Reagan as I remember pitching Colfax and sixty six and hell the year. Check it out what fourteen wind and twenty one. Saves a one point nine to Yara. But, you know. Nobody else wasn't anybody. Seventy us wasn't the young spry fifty five. I'm not saying he's not spry but, you know, maybe change it around. But remember, if Iran gets credit for the Graham a one point seventy aren't you mean he gets pain live, because the two three and and synagogues went up and everybody else is. I mean, is it look, if, if Reagan gets all these guys, the pitch like all stars and maybe island was the problem? But do you really see this changing? Stunk for for most of the season nihil going to be better. Oh now in owed him doing wrong. And a pitching strategist I I I wanna be dug out coordinator after job. I want retire. I'll take that job. Don't ask me what it is. I just made it up. Let's go to Mike in east Rockaway Mike, you're on the fan. Hey, what's going on? Before the producer, Ben and bumper to bumper traffic on Verizon. It comes down to this could be could be met fans and we've seen it all, you know, the ledge is going to be condemned. I don't think you can take all the. Yeah. You know, ten feet away that approach. All right. You know, I'm out in the Hamptons right now. My cousin told he's got a place out here hanging for week or so. And I'll tell you what you. Phil regan. I remember to pitch for the dodgers old school old school, and who knows you know, what's going to shake out with this, and thought maybe they can get casing Stangl 's the ransom, right? Maybe he could be the bench coach and echo. The words that is grandpa to setting sixty two. You know can't anybody played his game. You know, one shout outs. I know you got cold decorated industry. Oh I gotta give shout out to great kid Kyle Morton. Remember from the literally days in oceanside high school? Went to Fordham got drafted buddy Orioles. Yeah. I wish you luck and just give a shout out to a class act kid. Tony best. Saturday morning because you Richie Niro, once combination that guy is just excellent. I say, let's go to Colin and beacon colony on the fan. Hey tony. I just wanna say actually you're the one that got me into boxing more than I ever was before. But other than that, I just wanna talk about how good DJ LeMay who hasn't been for the Yankees. I think he's a signing of the off season for. Nail east. I mean. Key has been for them and how good he can be going forward. He is something else that would run scoring position. I mean you you talk about moving guys around the infield. I mean maybe he's just gonna stay at third. I mean, fellow you know, he did a great job. But you can't take the Mayhew out of the, the line of you can rest. And you can write rest judge Hicks is hitting. He's got a sore shoulder so you can rest him. You know, maven calf injury wink, wink nudge, nudge, I guess, but the who you guy keep them in their Torres, you had to keep them in their Sanchez, something about Sanchez. It's, it's. Amount. Get rid of stinks is a flash pan. I'm like he's heard everybody. He wouldn't admit it, mostly hitting, if you're a two eighty hitter hitting to ten and somebody says, what am I shoulder involve me all you, oh, excuse wants to hear it? So what are they? What did they do? If you'll simply they anything they just go out and do their thing. And then what? And then you look at, you know, he's better defensively hitting for average hitting power. Man. Doing nothing here we saying, right there. So we'll be back later tonight after the the. Heiki game eleven thirty something like that. John minko is in the house. "I'm going to have to move in with my mother in her tiny little house. I'm going to have to get rid of everything that I thought meant something to me other than my dog because I'll keep him because he doesn't eat much. I go what's the worst that can happen? And then I moved forward. So I always say to people who I'm coaching now. And who are in these workshops that I'm giving what's the worst? That could happen. It ain't that Ben none of us have ever been homeless in. If we have we've learned how to deal with it. And we learn from it. None of us are going to be Astra sized by every single person on the planet. We just have to drill it down one step at a time and go I'm going to do it. Anyway, because if you continue to do something you're unhappy with or even with me with comedy. I wasn't unhappy with it. I didn't hate it. When I wasn't getting that joy that spark you I remember years ago when I started stand up comedy it was at thing. Right. Couldn't wait to get on stage in every night. No money involved. But I would be all tickled by the fact that I wrote a new joke, and I can try it that night at an open mic. That's the feeling I get now from coaching or workshops or doing a storytelling Joe. So I go well that disappeared somehow after thirty years that join so if there's not that joy in it that little fizzy thing that we can't even name what it is. I go. I gotta move onto the thing that I really know in my gut is going to bring me that feeling and guess what that feeling transfers to the people in the workshops or the coaching. They don't feel that. She's really in. You'll right. You're right. And there's someone sign's behind the sexually Lisa Shaw. Nacre who also had on this podcast. He's a researcher at Cobb, and he wrote a book called the happiness advantage. And he gives all of these crazy case studies doctors when they are happy. They have nineteen percent but diagnoses positive salespeople. Fifteen five percent better at sales students better in exams. So there are signs that say that when you have joy with what you're doing. You just get. Better at it. And will you feeling that your routines, your stand-up, your Crump was stagnating or shrinking because you were no longer excited about it? But you notice that what's interesting about it. I started getting more standing ovations towards the end of my career before I announced it in an ironic sense. Because I think I was showing them I was moving on without saying it. But I think it was this internal shift people were sensing. And by the way, I was telling more stories instead of just doing insult comedy, which I love both. And I think I was showing more of me, and I took all these standing owes in all this sort of positive feedback as a sign that on doing the right thing on moving towards that path that I'm supposed to be on being more authentic. So it wasn't a clean drop. You actually we've in you start at weaving transformative ideas into your stand-up. Yeah. I remember I put in this bit about gratitude at the end, but it. Was obviously I knew punchline at the end it was really funny because honestly even in life coaching now or workshops, I'm never not going to be at least somewhat eumerus what I worry telling show. Of course, it's going to have humor, it's heartfelt. But it's going to have humor in. But the point is it has the lesson. You know, they can sense it more and feel in a really hear the truth behind the punchline, not the truth. So yeah, I would leave it in a little and those are the shows I felt the best and also I noticed too. I used to QNA all the time, which I still do in my storytelling shows, and people would actually ask me problems like questions, they were having remember one woman. She was like while I wanna leave my boyfriend, but he's on math in this. And that and I'm like, wow, they're bringing me real stuff. And I really do my best to coach through it. And I remember going back next time to Vegas where he was. And she had broken up with him. And I was like, of course, I'm gonna take full credit for that. But at the time, it just was a little sign that okay?.
