"That was Lisa. What kind of Lisa Bloom by the way, victims rights attorney Andre. She's done me a favor. She's stuck on with me because we had a cancelation in our our guests for today, and I'm going to give you a question A second, Lisa, But before I do, I just want to say really courageous spread. McCann ary. I would really impressed with her and you're very fortunate. I mean, obviously you get these great clients because of who you are, is an attorney and how you treat people And how you fight for them, But at the same time, it is nice once in a while to just say, Wow, I got someone who I can really work with. Right. Well, listen, if if I can't work with somebody, we're not gonna take the case. I mean, it is just a simple that we have. Probably, you know, 100 people reaching out to us every week and we can only take a small number of them. That was what we can't take. We try to send them somewhere else is somebody that can help them, But, you know, especially if it's the case is going to be in litigation, as opposed to just us, writing a letter trying to resolve it. People have to be strong. They have to be ready. They have to have corroboration. They have to have emotional support people in their life right. We require people to go to therapy. I mean, it's all got to be there because we don't want to fight a case for a year. 23 and then client says I can't take it anymore and drops out and you know that does happen, But we try toe, you know, minimize that. And so I would also say something else, which is our clients do get stronger as the case goes on. People are always very scared of the beginning. Yes, and they, you know, go through the first step or they do their deposition or they there's emotion and we win the motion, or, you know, even if we lose the motion. They they discover you know what I can do this? I was really scared, but I'm doing it and it's okay. You know, and I like to give them a lot of encouragement and talk about how they really become empowered, and that's Actually, the best part about what I do is taking people who are very, very fearful and empowering them to take control of their lives and get them justice and accountability right And I should say that I have been privileged enough to work on cases that Lisa has also either worked on or passed on from the worker's compensation and because a lot of the cases That she sees her people who call her that she may not be able to help out because they are worker's compensation cases or they are crossover cases. Ah, lot of times we can help them, and it's nice to know that there are a lot of victims rights attorneys that think the same way in trying to do what they can lie. Send everybody to you for worker's comp, Alan. Thank you. I'm not just saying that I'm on your show because you are really a very fine attorney and I don't do worker's comp. That's a very specialized area it calls Somebody with a lot of knowledge and expertise and compassion. And that's you. So why did they all go to you? And everybody is very happy with you. And that all goes very well. I appreciate that and coming from this week, having a couple of new clients that came in, Unfortunately, with death cases from Cove it from work seeing the Children I spoke to a 17 year old. Uh, son of someone who died in a just chokes me up when I think about what happened, so there are a lot of cases that you and I both see that are heartbreaking. Speaking of cases, I want to give you the opportunity to talk about cases and I'm gonna put some names out there you can choose. This is like a game show. Lisa Lisa Bloom. Here is your choice, right door number one door. Next set your dinette set. You're talking about Rh again. Come on. We don't call him tiny upsets anymore. That's from the olden days of the price is right anyway, so we could talk about. We've talked about Albert Wang Bruce Weber. There's the ball. It's one after Bradley's Stein. I don't mean that flippantly, but that's ah, Black lives matter Cases a couple of more black lives matters cases You're handing, of course out. Elizabeth Taylor. Chastity Jones. Alki David names that, you know. You know, when I see on your Twitter feed when you talk about the formidable sea Astra's answers. Ask us that Alki David called you the viol attorney that Bill O'Reilly only compliment. There you go. Okay. Which story do you want to take? I'll just say very briefly. The two that you named Chester Johnson was a tailor to my clients who We sued billionaire Alki David. We had both of those trials and 2019 for chastity Jones. We got one of the biggest jury verdicts in California that year in any kind of a case and her sexual harassment case. That was $11 million, and it's now worth over 18 million with attorneys. We got a million and a half attorneys feel worth And then there were two other women represented by my mom's firm. They went to trial. They also want his air all sexual harassment, sexual assault case very serious cases. And then Elizabeth Taylor's trial, unfortunately, ended in a mistrial. So we have to re try that case. But this is a guy who three Juries have found he sexually assaulted women. And hit him very hard with very significant jury verdicts, because what he did was so awful and you know, I'm very proud to represent these women. And you know, these guys have to be accountable for what they did. I really want to talk about the black lives matter Cases too, and I know time is short. So this year You know, as we know, in May after the murder of George Floyd, people took to the streets and black lives matter Protests. I was out there at those protests. I've been out of black lives matter Protests many times over the years. And I represent three black lives matter. Protestors from May of 2020 who were shot by police at these protests. All of my clients were unarmed and one of them in Los Angeles. Bradley Stein, who you mentioned was shot in the genitals with police, rubber bullets. And two others in Sacramento. Young protesters were shot in the face, one of them blinded in one eye, the other one almost blinded. The bullet. Just narrowly missed design Study is a big scar on his face, and ah lot of neurological problems. As a result, police rubber bullets are never supposed to be aimed at somebody's face or genitals. Always supposed to be center mass. And they're not supposed to be used as a method of crowd control. So you know this was very, very disturbing and my clients are lovely people. We file these lawsuits. They're well underway and we've also worked with state Legislature legislators to try to get some reforms. Unfortunately, they didn't pass and 2020. But how these so called less lethal weapons are used. And you know, they're often used indiscriminately. Police just shooting into crowds. And you know it. Zaveri unfortunate, if not right, people have permanent lifelong injuries. As a result, all three of my clients is the first time that they had been out at a black lives matter protest and you know, now they have these lifelong injuries and it's just wrong. That's very disturbing Recent after last week Yeah. Good. Go ahead. I won't hear the press release. Then I'll ask you well, because you know, we saw the Capitol police on January. 6, Uh, allowing some of those protesters to go in and get away with what they did We no more now that the Capitol police some of them really did put up a fight, and God blessed them, and one of them even lost his life. Bless him and his family and my heart goes out to them. But you know, for the black lives matter, protestors, I mean completely different situations are out there outside their honor. Um and you know they get shot, so just really different type of treatment. So what kind of defenses are you running up against? In these black lives? Matters cases, are they you know, Are they digging their heels in the police?.

My name is Andy Mills and I'm one of the people that make this show before coming to work at the New York Times. I didn't quite understand what the reporters here did and N. Now that I've gotten a chance to see how much hard work how much persistence goes into just one story that goes out. I feel like my subscription to the New York. Times is a way of me becoming a stockholder in what it is that they're doing. I almost feel like a sense of camaraderie when they blow open the doors and a big investigation. It's it's my subscription money. That's helping them find the complicated and difficult truth of the world and put it into the public sphere none of the work that we we get chance to do would be possible if it wasn't for people who subscribe if you're already a subscriber thank you if you're wondering how you could pitch in to help more reporting and more shows like the daily exist. Just get a subscription to the New York Times. The daily is the near terms. So so what do you make of this memo she saying. I'm going to use my experience representing vulnerable women to to help you instead to intimidate vulnerable women exactly. I think she's saying I'm GonNa take all of my experience working on the behalf of Victims Thames and use that on your behalf to work against them I also you know I'm GonNa ask this as a question because we don't have Lisa the bloom here and I don't know the answer but I think it raises questions about her work generally beyond rose McGowan because it's this line they start out as impressive bold women but the more one presses for evidence. The weaknesses and lies are revealed. What does that mean. Does that mean that she hasn't believed leave her clients over the years and what about the billing records that you found what are those show well. I'm looking right now through her billing records and it's just the sort of day by day hour by hour accounting of what she did for Harvey Weinstein her team as well. That's what lawyers do they send. These really detailed bills also so let's just take a couple of examples. like four thirty seventeen phone. Call Re Reputation Management Show which actually is one of the phrases that was just used in that memo and really suggests that she's following up on the things that she promised to do. She's is managing. Harvey Weinstein's reputation he exactly six twenty eight seventeen review investigator research on Ram so our Emma's rose McGowan so they're digging around rose McGowan. That's what it sounds like and then my own name is in there meeting with Harvey reach out to Jodi Kantor research cody kanter for two hours so it turns out that before she called me she was doing all of this research on me so prepping for a conversation with you at. I think you said the rate was eight. Ninety five is it's a sixteen hundred dollar job. She had already been paid a fifty thousand dollar retainer and then he was paid eight hundred and ninety five dollars after that seven twelve. This is important prepare for meeting with Anna. Call with Harvey follow up with Ronin so anna is a fake name for appeared Israeli private spy who Weinstein is employing at this point to try to dupe reporters and sources does and get information from them and remember that this is all in her own hand. He's or her billing records so it looks like she was very deeply. Involved follow up with Ronin that of course is Ronan Farrow of the New Yorker magazine. Yes exactly who was working on a very similar investigation to ours at the same time review rose. Pi reports he I private investigator. Let's see what else nine seven email email's re. NBC Ronin Conflict Conflict Research Journalist Ethics so that looks like they're preparing to go to war against Ronan Farrow and by the way I am reading a fraction fraction of the entries on this document he was very long and a lot of what she's describing in. These billing records was invisible to us in the beginning of our investigation nation. We had no idea of what actual work she was doing for him but as the billing records reach their completion. We're able to see activity that was in fact visible. Toss in the final stretch as Lisa Bloom flew to New York to be by winds inside in the final days. Is he working to beat back our investigation she the bills him for this pretty remarkable meeting that we had at the New York Times there was a moment as we were working to get to the finish line where Harvey Weinstein basically barged into the New York Times with Lisa Bloom and a couple other lawyers by his side demanding an off the record meeting and Lisa Bloom had in her hands folders that included pictures of rose McGowan and Ashley Judd and friendly poses with Weinstein in an aftertaste undermine and smear the accusers so basically you can see the reality the head more and more of our time is going towards trying to stop the publication of your investigation. That's really becoming the bulk for work. Exactly.

"So what do we now know about the role of Lisa Bloom in the Harvey Weinstein Story. Well what we've now realized. Is that the moment that Lisa Bloom called Jodi Kantor her in the summer of two thousand seventeen she had already been working with Harvey Weinstein for months she had crossed lost over to the other side at a rate of eight hundred and ninety five dollars an hour to help this powerful producer seek to evade scrutiny and conceal his alleged predatory behavior and how do you know that well we know that because after we published that first Weinstein story we kept reporting and and we have since obtained these confidential records that spell out all of the various things that Lisa Bloom did in fact do for Weinstein there were the billing records it's and when she gives an hour by hour accounting of the various things that she did on his behalf we also tain this document which looking back now it really was a blueprint for the various tactics that she was going to use to try to keep everything hidden and talk about that document that document is basically. Lisa Bloom's job audition memo for what she was willing to do for Harvey Weinstein it it appears that he wanted powerful woman by his side one with a very public reputation for protecting victims which would discipline as exact Roy. Can I just read it to you. Okay I'll read some and then I'm GonNa pass over to Meghan. 'cause that's really long. This is from December twenty sixteen and and she writes a long email to Weinstein proposing how she's essentially going to beat back allegations by rose McGowan and the actress against Weinstein now at that point McGowan had tweeted that our producer had raped her and people thought it was Weinstein rose had named him yet but Weinstein clearly felt very threatened by this and they had had some sort of conversation and then what Lisa Bloom does is she writes what's essentially a roadmap for Harvey Weinstein of how she is going to manipulate and smear in order to discredit rose. McGowan Harvey was a treat to speak to you today. Though yes we'd all prefer better circumstances have spent the rest of the day reading Jack and Sarah's thorough reports about rose by the way they are private investigators who truly comes across as a disturbed pathological liar and also your former assistant who seems to be less of a concern. I also read read through a lot of roses. Twitter feed to get a sense of her and watched her short film dawn. I'm no film critic but I found a dreadful but telling us to who rose is boy meets. Girl girl girl trusts boy boy murders girl almond suck the end. I feel equipped to help you against the roses of the world because I have represented represented so many of them they start out as impressive bolt women but the more one presses for evidence. She doesn't seem to have much going on these days except a rapidly escalating identity as a feminist warrior which seems to be entirely based on online rants for her to keep her rose army following. She must continue ramping up the outrageousness of her diatribes clearly. She must be stopped in her ridiculous defamatory attacks on U. She's dangerous Andress. You're right to be concerned options. He's apparently trying to buy the holographic rights to bill cosby's so that he can remove the penis in holographic reform. I don't know this guy's a little eccentric. Little sky also do abe lincoln at disney or no. Yes i think so yes but it appears. He's done my big break but nevertheless he's in a trial in the l._a. Spirit court in moscow rows house and apparently it's getting sanctioned and threatened with sanctions every single day because a hallway does he's east decided. He fired his lawyer. Phillip on salt still got a lawyer. <hes> what's her name from venable garoppolo <unk> his company's oy but he is said individually stuck you. I'm going to try this case. I'm going to be the proper those you don't know roper is i'm representing myself. I'm going to be the proper from hell and i am not gonna put up with is judge. I'm not gonna put up with lisa bloom and he apparently just the last case where he got hit for three million and five million he started calling lisa bloom the c word and blurting out that she's she gloria allred's daughter and going psycho and then in this case he's apparently screaming at lease in the hallway and screaming at the judge i can. I wish to single unfilled if there was ever going to be a case that should be on camera. This is the case yeah. The courtroom sketch artists. Is this not do these when you drop and see bombs. It's just there's no way you can't go look the shape of his mouth. Yeah you gotta hearing right jerry. Can you have some of the stuff that you do a little bit of the background because we really i find it is my <hes> mea culpa that i have not done enough. Work are missing background on missing homework. I mean i know i thomas three weeks ago. I was going to do a deep dive into brian banks while gary was doing something else. Spite case to me is just precious. I don't understand why we don't have more on the white house got more attention. What is what is the allegation allegation beside all the hijinks on the side. What what's two things i read is that the woman is suing did not think it was is appropriate for him to grab her by the ankles and walker around the office when he was holding her by the ankle kosovar planting showed gary. Did i get that right. That is definitely one of the main accusations yeah is that that's a problem. That's gender-based because if you did that to gary or i do that too lax him up with that. The problem is we walked around the corolla studios. Hold guy upside down while wearing their tommy john's i i personally finally have <hes>. I am from a bygone era. I do not understand three quarters of what's going on in today's world i was saying i mean it's insane unless you're sliding into a tommy john i i will. I will tell you that i was telling max pad today. Today i said there buzz words for eras for decades. So if you're around in the fifties it was the jet age there was jet that and cars were like like jets and they would say to jet and then you got to the sixties. It was rocket. It was outer space that was the theme of there were show many design cues. You've got to the eighties. It was turbo. There was like colognes called turbo cologne turbocharged your life and you know turbo supplements then it got into stealth stealth with like the nineties everything again colognes and men's apparel. There were buzzwords for the decade. This thing is now either the word brave or synonym for bravery like like when these guys are launching their gubernatorial campaigns like brave enough to stand up the trump brave and joining my brave 'cause we all deserve irv heroes. It's like it's all this hero bravery shit. Everyone's a fucking hero. Everyone is brave. I don't even know what's going on anymore. I don't i'm a guy i was fucking head. I spent my entire youth in a headlock with some guy trying to tear my fucking head off and sleeping next to a swamp cooler fucking up a sweat lodge. I have no idea where everyone has to be brave about. Everyone suing everybody. Yes sorry yeah. Do you mentioned sleep yes. I'm sweating my ass. It's funny you should mention that you know why you know who's one of our our newest sponsors uh-huh eight.

What are you going to. You're going to go beat up some <hes> factual last night as you can do an event with mario andretti yes. There's lario andretti when we were kind of high school. Slash junior junior high didn't he do be wasn't promotional guy for s._t._v. That was one of his yes. That was one of his big sponsors s. s. t. p. He's kind of become the ambassador for motor racing. He's a guy who did dirt track. A guy did indie the guy who did f. One this this is equivalent to playing football basketball and baseball at a professional level back then we're now everyone glenn kansas clearly the bo jackson. He's the bo jackson racing but whatever i wanted to know the only thing i wanna know what happened s._d._p. And those stickers. I used so love those s._d._p. Stickers it was funny. There were all these products and s._d._p. Was one of them and stickers boy. You wanna talk about a childhood childhood. Breath of entertainment stickers were a form of not only entertainment but their form of currency. You could trade stickers louis louis. They had all the automotive stickers were the best a kind of one of the coolest things about one of my old vintage race. Cars is looking at all all the crazy stickers that are on them that you never. You never see anymore and he drove. I believe it was like the s._d._p. Lightning turbine car at indy. They did turbine car at indy. He you know what else yeah. That's the s._c._p. Sticker her with diedhiou. Remember the little foam styrofoam seventy six ball do that before your time. Are you a member of that and you put it on your antenna or you'd put it on something else. You'd sticking on the those that was right up there with an s._d._p. Sticker you could trade eight for that. The the notion of these kinds of things which is funny yeah there was a round styrofoam ball aw back when people had fixed antennas and you'd set it on top of the fixed antenna and there would live as an advertisement for union union seventy six which by the way. I don't know it didn't it didn't add to the drag. It did add to the drag efficiency of the car. It's not like you've got better mileage ironically so you got worse mileage. If you think about union seventy six they probably made themselves an extra couple hundred thousand in a year by their dynamic drag from the balls they put on and the weight it was added to every car in the southland we also there's also funny bygone on era that you'll never see again is the spokesperson for union. Seventy six was a red headed irish guy named murph murphy murphy lake god murph. I remembered murph. How did you remember that. 'cause i always think about it. He looked like the full service guy was dressed in the uniform. It was full service. There was a there was a guy who ran the union seventy six that was at the bottom of the hill so when i live up in beechwood canyon there was one gas station. You could use if you live in beechwood canyon. It was the one down at the bottom of beechwood canyon and franklin other than that. You'd have to drive around a little so that was always my running late to do love line and i needed gas. I'd have to go down there and use that gas station and there was the most angry palestinian guy who worked behind the glass and and i was just probably an are you're just being being nice. I am sure is armenian and i would like is they was rossi or ask. Ask all the sudden you boy. You're blaming. I think his name shan't something. I'd i'd say look union. Seventy six is literally doing campaign boasting of having clean soapy water in in every one of their squeegee hoppers and your squeegee hopper has a quarter inch of black pool water at the bottom of it and you guys is in the middle of a campaign touting us clean soapy water. You should get on it and he'd be like what is thought they say. Can i use the bathroom. No this is no. It's not and it's like i would point at a snickers bar and go gimme that you take snickers. No you take away and i was like literally argue with this guy and there's certain point where's murph. Where's mar murph would run out a rainstorm to help someone push your car that ran out of gas ass in your fucking giving me the stink guy the entire time he would yell at me through the speaker. You know i'd be like i the pump used pump seven pump seven. I'm on pump. That fourteen keeps said you couldn't use the bathroom. That water is clean to me. Was that back was that time period when you would pay and then they would you'd get a specific pump and then they kind of the speaker and it'd be like <hes> aw pumped eight eight. I hated this guy so much and it was like you do the thing where like you'd ask for the candy bar and any push the drawer out and you'd give two dollars a push back in your chest out and he and it was funny. He would just look at you the whole time he you would never go. Thank you come again or anything like that. He just stare at you and one time after him just staring me. I think it was like a situation where i was like gimme a three musketeers bar and he was like give me a dollar and i'd be like yeah. It's it's in the car. Just give me the bar and i'll give it two dollars and ah i've been here for four years. I come here twice a week. I really don't toe dollar dollar at a certain point when i don't what i don't understand. How did you remember his name was mirth. How irving is the name remembered mirth. I just remember when i was a kid because richard slattery battery played murph for fourteen years. He was the red headed. Kindly gentleman who was the face of union seventy six not shot and i was sitting there this guy mark. This guy pissed me off so bad ones we irish. We're supposed to arbil i was. I hated this guy so much one time he slid me my murph. You hated hated. I i hated shot so much that i he after he gave me my candy bar. I just looked at him through the glass and he would just look at you. Never say thanks. Thanks are anything and i just under the candy bar i did that. I told the wrapper off the candy bar very slowly. I just kept staring iron atom and i just dropped it on the ground. Just kept staring walk to my car but it drove me nuts because i wanted i love whoa i'm a multitasker when cars filling up i wanna clean the windshield and they were running ads about clean soapy water and this guy had black bull water her in his thing and it's always bugged me about murph what i didn't understand about mark for those who don't remember i and you can see remnants of it today. When was the last time you went to dodger stadium adam. You've been there are the playoffs or whatever the world series big sponsor right <hes> so back then seventy six was huge for the dodgers and they used to have gins scully used to do stuff ads for me and i used to think why do we have this dapper red headed vin scully on one hand and then murph on the other i couldn't i couldn't reconcile the two bags it would be like shunt and then i don't know kim kardashian doing for the same product. It didn't make sense. It's it was a simpler time time and obviously it was strong. You know white nationalism was bradley at the peak of its powers and we're sending a message to my white aaron brothers that this is the place. It'll cost a few more shackles at ain't it ain't arco but it's worth it. If you're white because you'll have come right so i think there was a i think there was a conspiracy theorist back then <hes> speaking of white nationalism because i remember that there was a very well founded founded. I mean well founded in the sense that we believed it. <hes> thing that you could not put seventy-six gasoline into who a porsche or a german car a little illustrate the engine do remember this rumor. This was a very very strong rumor time we couldn't it because it was a two and a half cents a gallon so like the corollas never got near the seventy six but that was always the gas that that's the gas you aspired inspired to back when people cared what were you. You were in arca why we were we were whoever the cheapest was and and whoever gave out the most green stamps or blue trading stamps for understood the al. Are you kidding the where the <hes> what is it sprouts is now used to be a i forget the market i wanna say vons but it probably was involved and that's as well before before it was a sports chalet and my mom's to take shopping there in the we're talking in the sixties and you enter the why we always come into this dump she said because because of the green stamps and she'd make us like it was like we were excited to ace the green stamps into those stupid little books. Do you remember the books yeah now. See ceylan gary dono or talking about there used to be called. No i'd ask green stamps and they it would give you stamps like if you went to the von's and bought forty dollars a groceries they'd give you ten stamps and if you want to arco work or the chevron and you filled up with gas it gives you twelve stamps or whatever it is and eventually you'd get enough stamps to buy something worthless you could then fill up your stamps and you could buy like a camping stove but no one ever went camping like it was always something stupid like let's by an archery set but it was all junk and you'd go to the s._s._h. For racial it was very inspirational because if you had like there was always the unattainable two hundred books would give you something you actually wanted garbage between zero to one ninety nine. These are like remember marlboro box. Gary from back day turned enough packs of marlboros. You'll be able to get at pop hop tent or something it was something very counter to smokers like outdoor equipment but but the thing is convening with nature and chain smoking it was a weird juxtaposition but the green stamps would would always start a battle royale the corolla house because we kept them in a shoebox and at some point the big god so did we. We had a floor portion shoebox. I remember vividly. It was a floor sham shoebox was it was my mom kept them on this the <hes> little calendar in the closet so when we were young we couldn't get up that high. Yes there were up on the top shelf because they had value and you know you. You know my fucking parents like what do you think i'm going to sell the stamps and move to mexico and start a new life jesus fucking christ. We didn't have air conditioning goddamn i am my family was so fucking cheap and they didn't even trust their kids. My mom my grandmother my grandfather make a big pot goulash and at some point he'd go take some some home and he'd start ladling it into a piece of tupperware that was like a prototype from one thousand nine hundred forty nine and my mom. My grandmother would be like waving him off like now. No no come on. Put it in a pickle jar that weight you also you unintentionally. Maybe intentionally just hit on something that was like a a singular feature of my childhood was my father's arguments with my mother about air conditioning a big deal air conditioning was in the sixties now my father every time. My mom wanted to turn the air-conditioner. Oh god daily from you aborted and fred slow you you you what you need air conditioning. What are we in. The central valley. Ear was such a big deal. Listen first things first. I never lived in a house with a air or central air in it. My entire childhood what we had here's here was the heir apparent lee to you mark my we're apparently that's pretty good. We had also h. e. My mom's my mom's house was one hundred years sold in the san fernando valley. It was bought for years ago for six hundred eighty thousand dollars in bulldozed to the ground to the ground. So that's the shape shape that house. The the house was like nine hundred square feet and the lot was just big enough for that and somebody <music> but someone paid seven hundred k. and bulldozed it and built a little mcmansions there that house did not have central air. That house had one one unit. It was a window unit. The window unit was in the den which was also my step. Dad's bedroom bedroom my mother and my stepfather slept in separate rooms and his dad we chat pole we would sit on my stepfather's bed in watch tv because that had the air box in it air conditioner the air air conditioner in my stepdad's room the window because it was a house from eighteen eighty one or something that what what was the structure though because most of the houses in the valley of that era were kind of like post war nineteen this was built before for the war before before the fucking civil war before they have french indian war like it was the war of eighteen well well yes like literally it was it.

"In that it's all about choices. Of course. Revenge porn is illegal and you can take action. Don't submit don't consent, but Kane mega lab in nagging day. I know, but sooner or later decides they're going to go somewhere else. And then there's the threat. That's Lisa bloom. She is she's a famous attorney her mother is Gloria Allred. The apple the tree right next to each other and good for them because they're acting in good faith on behalf of people who have been mistreated women who've been mistreated, they're their principally lawyers for women. I'm sure there's there have been some mail clients in the past. Well, hi, everybody. Did you did you do? All right this morning. My phone buzzed at five. I heard rush little while ago saying he slept ten hours and forty six minutes. He did not. He must be back on the drugs is all I can tell you. He didn't sleep ten hours and forty six minutes. He's sixty something years old. He had a p twice. I slept. That's like that old joke about guy goes to the doctor and says how you feel I'm doing great doctor. I have a bowel movement every morning at eight. Well, what's your problem? Why said well, I don't wake up till nine. See that's a problem. And for Rush Limbaugh say he slept ten hours and forty six minutes without a break. He must be sleepwalking or he had an extra bladder inserted somewhere. We're going to get off on these thoughts. Anyway, I slept until five and then I heard my phone. What I didn't. Even look I didn't want to wake up yet as probably having a good dream or something. So then about six I looked over and saw lighting again. And it was something else that came on there. And I stupidly did not turn it face down. I keep a book on my nightstand. I don't read it. But I just keep it there and put the phone face down. So the light doesn't blow me out of my sleep. My slumber. And it's Rene Murphy. And she's letting me know the schools are out, and, you know, make sure my my media contacts are aware that as well. Oh, and then I looked at will Clark's Twitter feed is like he's on back to sleep. So there you go. I hope your morning went well for you. We have kids in Catholic school. And I thought oh, well, they're they've got regular school. And so then I get up and get married coffee like way, we're a little rituals. We do in the morning, and I got Gracie or nice little drink. She likes in the morning little hot drink in the winter on a winter morning. She's all ready for school. She's excited about that. And then there's Aiden he's over there on the couch under a blanket is like it's a school day what's happening here. And of course, everybody's fired up about the teachers not being these teachers page orchestra. Another already get three months of summer. L that arguing was going on this morning. And of course, it's about politics notes, not Carey's about I- pants. It's about who's on the board. It's about I know it's really it's a it's about politics there. There's a pendulum that swings both ways in politics. And so people are pushing back, and they feel like that's their their right to do that good for you. I don't know if that hurts or hinders your career, but that's on you, again choices. That's how that works. Anyway, my kid is still under the blanket over there on the couch. I guess we'd better poke him and tell him I guess what? It's only Wednesday. It's not Saturday poking. It looks at me. He goes off school today. As like last time, I checked trinity high school wasn't a public school. No, we're we're in the Sweet Sixteen school for. So here we are all arguing about teachers, and how dare you not instruct children, and this and that at all. Well, some schools let the kids off so they can go to the Sweet Sixteen because well basketball, welcome to Kentucky. That's how we prioritize. Thanks, ian. Do they let school's out when you're Indiana team is in the Sweet Sixteen or whatever they call it in Indiana. They don't because all those games take place on the weekend. And then I heard that if trinity highschool winds today he's off school again on Friday. I mean, that's astounding to me. Well, what happens on you seem to be a little deficient over in this category in this category? Well, you know basketball. I mean, we had to go and share basketball seriously that is Kentucky. So we prioritize things on our own ways in this world. But that is a fact I am not making this up that actually occurred in my home this morning, and I checked with eight in a little while ago and referenda, and I said, how's it going? Fifty five to twenty three. It looks like I'm off school on Friday. So they're beating the snot out of somebody in the Sweet Sixteen tournament. Glad you're aboard. Ladies, gentlemen. Congressman Brett Guthrie joins us a little bit later on the show and also wanna play some clips from governor Bevin on with Leland a little earlier today too. Because he said a few things in there that were very telling just about private schools versus public schools and how they're not for everybody. And there there's there's differing reasons on it. I know there's this always this push poll about private schools, and I've had these conversations over the years. I went to Saint excise go when Saint Stephen martyr elementary school yell. There's tuition went to Saint ex high school. Of course, there's tuition and went to Saint university of Kentucky, and well, there was tuition there too. But it wasn't really Catholic schools an open you've probably heard of it UK who by the way. I didn't watch the end of the game. I know they won last night. But it wasn't a nail biter or not I don't I mean, there was some people on Twitter that made it sound a little more nail biter. But once I saw Tyler hero hit. Three three pointers their find. And he's gonna get a thousand points. I think he did well to we'll talk with Jody Deming who is in Lexington. He's a trinity. Boy, he wasn't gonna miss this. He's gonna do sports more in Lexington today. And then as I mentioned congressman will be on with us. And James Saint James says he's coming back to work. I believe it when.

"They dealt with in hollywood i think it's important to disentangle two things you know harvey weinstein and his legal team which at the time the signatories on those legal threat letters to me were charles harder and lisa bloom and david boies so you know high powered team going after me one of the things that they weaponized was you know this very specious argument of oh this is a this is a hollywood kid on a on a revenge trip that's not the case it wasn't the case for the new york times reporters it wasn't the case for me yes this was personal in the sense that i had seen the ramifications of sexual assault firsthand because my sister did a really brave thing speaking out against a powerful guy so i i understood the way in which people in power can manipulate the media and intimidate and silence people and i understood the tremendous compassion and sensitivity that's required if you want to talk to people about what is for most sexual assault survivors the worst moment of a lifetime there was an emotional understanding but there was not as harvey weinstein tried to claim any kind of personal vendetta at only positive thoughts about harvey weinstein and this was really born of if anything you know me being an ambitious reporter who saw big story but also someone with us sense of social justice who saw that this was a safety issue you know that this was a pattern and we had to protect people to arm them with knowledge so many women were telling me i wish i had been warned before i went into that room and so i couldn't stop because of that and certainly had nothing to do with any vendetta born of any kind of personal link to harvey weinstein again in the personal sense i only had incentives to feel positive about the guy how much did the fact that your last name is farrow affect the way that interviewees interacted with you do that open doors or affect the way that they spoke to you.

"Interesting interesting alternate theories being put forward by lisa bloom i love it let's go to joe confident because katie fang mentioned this question of why not just admit it and the last time that we heard that why not just cop to it instead of lying about it was of course in the case of one william jefferson clinton who wound up being impeached ostensibly it started out over whitewater and some land deals and wound up talking about fair in between those was a woman named paula jones who had accused bill clinton of sexual harassment we now have the current attorney four stormy daniels saying she that they would like to depose donald trump a judge has denied so far the requested oppose donald trump at that might be temporary it has been refiled this motion that michael have noddy has refiled emotion to depose trump the president that they're citing is the pala jones president and here is michael heavenly talking about that precedent the polygons precedent take a listen you mentioned clinton versus paula jones in your motion why is that relevant supreme court precedent the supreme court already decided that a sitting president could be deposed in connection with a civil matter and if that was the law then it's certainly has the law now it hasn't been overturned joe connor thin author of the hunting of the president which is a deep dive into the attempt to take down bill clinton over sexual alleged sexual indiscretions are we right back where we were before of people saying why doesn't trump just admit it rather than submit himself to a deposition that would be made public.

"Competency tons of lawyers because we're all now's hyper scrutinizing how these filings have been done what's been said michael cohen's lawyer the other day david schwartz goes on cnn and he basically says that trump was ever a part of this deal i mean it's just kind of insane in terms of the boone orie that's been happening but i do think that this tweet by michael avenue just reinforces that if the truth comes out and frankly joys and that's the reality if trump just the very beginning had said yeah i had sex with the porn star twelve years ago i don't a lot of people to destruct like they do now but now that have an ati saying we're not gonna take a penny to keep my client silent once again again i think it helps the integrity of the lawsuits and i'm gonna come to that not just admitting it in a minute with joe but i wanna i go to lisa bloom because there have been interesting sort of aspects to what michael cohen lawyer has said as katie just alluded to this is a tweet by federal former federal prosecutor rinaldo mariotti who is running for office in illinois on wednesday michael attorney just claimed on out front cnn that trump was not aware of the stormy daniels agreement or the payment which means there was no contract between trump and daniels and daniel can release the materials why admitted on national television i wanna talk about the materials with you really quickly lisa bloom there was a tweet that was a tweet storm that sort of float off of the marietta tweet that i got very interested it on twitter and it's a law professor who talked about the materials the product bandied about india agreement between trump and this llc and the question that this attorney is raising about whether or not the low number that stormy daniels took is potentially because she was concerned or maybe made to feel concerned that if she released photos text messages in information that proved she had this relationship with donald trump that she could then be prosecuted under revenge porn laws that they may have threatened her with something like that does that sound.

"Yeah lisa bloom i don't have a question i just wanted to let you come in on okay so you know i represented four trump accusers including jill hearth and she's been saying for years that when trump assaulted her sexually he pulled her into a funk as bedroom at maralago i think of uncle was about eleven years old at the time there's clearly disturbing pattern here what i love about michael of unawed is he has a legal strategy and he has a media strategy he's not putting everything out there in the first day so that this dies a one day story he's keeping this in the news he's releasing a little bit day by day the legal part of this could go on for years because whichever side loses going to go up on a peel but the media side is going to goes well because he says he has a lot of evidence that i believe him and is going to release it when he wants to release it so i think this is going to stay in the news for a long time absolutely in paul butler we're now hearing some reporting questioning whether his advisors are correct until him not to respond to stormy daniels that smart he needs to keep his mouth shut again there's two issues here credibility if he's been having his people apparently lie about whether you have this fear if he lies again that's putting him in jeopardy and modus operandi this was clearly campaign contribution by michael cohen to help trump get elected and so that's supposed to been reporters so that's something that mother could be interested in there's one part of this that salacious kind of sleazy there's another part that's very relevant to the russia obstruction of justice investigation dick van which is a little bit it's it's relevant because because it goes to his modus operandi again he's willing to accept campaign contributions and not report them violation of the election law if cohen spent one hundred and thirty k that's way more than he's legally allowed to contribute to the campaign what's called an en kind contribution it's still has to be reported and was it that's a violation of federal criminal and civil law okay well i want to we got something just came across the transom out of.

"Is just taxed juicy 230 3o 3o thirty thirty thirty and get full access to this entire platform for free tell me what you're doing tell me what you love and let's all get our beach bodies on so the latest with black china and rod is by china hired lisa bloom lisa bloom is the daughter of glory already she's also an attorney representing black china black china went and got a temporary restraining order succeeded in getting one today so what that means since i know a lot about it is you've got to prove that there is a need for it but then there is a try there is a court date set maybe like five weeks from now or something a few weeks in which rob can defend it and hope not to make it permanent so sometimes nobody shows up sometimes the one person's and show up so the other one automatically gets it and sometimes they do prevail in it is not granted and the person can prove that what they did was an a threat and they don't because you don't want it you don't want it on your record it'll show up when your pulled over and it's not great to have so but what is what by is saying is that what rogge did is revenge foreign and it's illegal in thirty eight states and what it is is because of dense research on it the photos that he posted on twitter and instagram of her vagina that she sent to ham is she because she took that photo of her vagina she absolutely owns it when you do a selfie dick pic he owns it so be aware now a days of sending around even if you just want to share a dick pic with your friend might wanna be a little careful about that so also if you are under age and take a photo of your own naked parts and send it you could be in trouble for distributing child porn because you are a child so anyway he is his attorney robert shapiro says that he is sorry for what he did that was the same against tmz and she.
