Animals Appreciate Recent Traffic Lull
"Don't worry about why the chicken crossed the road. The bigger question is whether it'll make it at all. Every year millions of animals get killed by vehicles in the US, but that road risk has dropped because of the Kobe pandemic. We're the negative impacts of the economy. family relations I'm sitting in my living room and I don't see as much of my family as I as I normally would. So there's a lot of impacts that the positive impacts of becoming more clear, and that could really change the discussion after the pendant changed some of our assumptions out how much driving we should do if we want to protect nature while by air quality climate change in so for Fraser's Schilling. Co Director of the road, Ecology Center at the University of California Davis One officials began issuing stay at home orders to slow the spread of Covid, nineteen schilling and his colleagues quickly realized they were witnessing a novel experiment. What happens when we all start driving way less? The answer is a lot. Lot of things, including fewer units and lower greenhouse gas emissions from cars in their latest report, the researchers found that driving less has also led to a dramatic decrease in road kills in three states which they had long term data. Idaho Maine and California, so actually the the largest conservation action that the US has ever taken creation of the national parks. The team documented about a third fewer collisions with deer, Moose and other large mammals in the four weeks following shutdowns. If such a slowdown persisted for a year, twenty, seven thousand large animals would be saved in just those three states. In California, the researchers also look specifically at mountain lions. Some populations in urban areas are at risk of local extinction and vehicles are one of the top killers whoever, in recent months traffic deaths of mountain lions have dropped by fifty eight percent, revealing an important clue about how to save them well to keep them from going extinct or to recover them. We need to protect them traffic, and that means we need to build. We need to put in fencing along highways and crossing structures over the hobbies, and that's that's that's a big deal. People are now returning to the roads. Stay at home. Orders are lifted, but schilling hope some of the lessons might stick. I think we can grow from this. Having less impact while everybody loves loudly. You know if we if we can find a way to not kill them. It seems like everybody can lineup.

Send him to where they may be maybe now clearwater, whatever will, your hotel would have to be like one of those groovy modern cars who which car is? VW. Somebody makes a car. People are just coming and going. It's like a temporary fraternity house right now known that guy before in the modern era of credit cards a guy who told me story many many years ago, he he he had a bill in the morning for I forget how much like six hundred dollars on the phone and damage to the room. It was his credit card. Card people. He didn't know wandering in over a forty eight hour period. You know one of those kinds of parties. That's why there have been there have been you know. Add some water probably and before you know it, it's a plant. Seeds. and. He's Oh speaking of putting things under the ground S. all right. It's time airs this story. My Lawn has been utterly decimated by a mole or moles Russian moles. Soviet moles, no Susan Rice. No, no, what James Comey. They disrupt the lawn, they they're piles of dirt everywhere tunnels and the restaurant and I tried tried various methods to get rid of it, and then asked on the air. If anybody had any advice in and Matt, who does for living responded and says hey do this for living. Here's what I would suggest. Use this equipment Blah and he's been enormously helpful. and so Judy Nice Sunday. We put these mold traps under the ground. If you missed yesterday's podcast, the ideas that are very much like a mouse trap. They look quite different, but it's the same idea. The mole trips trigger the jaws snapshot, and your description was. It gets a neck. Firm neck hug probably a little too firm, or wherever the the jaws of some would say death wherever the mole that's where he gets the Hug Jack. Joe Biden. It doesn't ask whether you want to be hug. Partisan politics so anyway. So we, we planted these traps according to Matt's fabulous directions and the and the video on the website. And we found a perfect tunnel as we were describing yesterday and put traps down there and then recovered them up. Put the dirt around, so there is no sunlight two days later, not a single additional mole hill in the yard all right. I thought. Two days long enough, man, 'cause it six doesn't go by without more damage being done along, and so I got all this little bastards Oh. Yeah, well. Yeah, they've got a metabolism like well. Actually like a lot of animals are size like shrew. They just go counseling in two days long enough, I'm digging it up. So I took the the earth like plug core thing that got out and to my surprise, the whole was. was really full of loose dirt I thought. That's weird. Because this is kind of a plug thing I'll dig through the dirt. Dig and I can see. One of the June one of those traps has been triggered so I pull it up. Empty. Dig I. Find The other one it to has been triggered. Empty I feel triggered. Anyway IS IT turns out? I wrote to a whiff since the wrong texting I texted. You guys a picture that Matt sent me that we're going to talk about in just a second but Let's see but I said I explain to him what happened? He said Yeah. It's pretty typical especially with rookies. You gotta find a different spot on the tunnel. Try Again, etc, etc, and he said the when it's. It's because it's rained a little bit where I live, but he says wet dirt Oh and we started watering more because long starting to Brown on, he said wet dirt is a lot easier from them to deal with. They don't have to vent it out of the tunnel. That's why you don't see any new mole hills, but probably in their diggins. They threw dirt onto the trap. It triggered the traps before they got higher. Banner stand. The crap works, and soon they'll be coming into my home. She's and they're just eating like. It with cheese I'm not sure. Is there any chance your dog tipped him off like you've got a mole your home? My dog is a mole working on behalf of moles. That's going to be confusing to the readers. Wait a minute honey. The dog is a mole. What is now now? We're talking about the little beast now. The mole, the mole to. of so he says I said just sitting footer to away from that now jinxed spot if you can find the same tunnel. And I said how's bastards? He said check this out from last week at the National Cemetery in San Francisco. This was just one mole sent. You guys the picture via text, can you? Can you get it right? Yeah, I'm looking at it yet. Take a look at that one, two, three, four five. Win In they stretch on. You can't see the other row, but except the mall what period of time Oh, that's not clear although those diggings look very fresh to me, so probably within a day or two, that's. National Metairie, it's like Arlington National Cemetery, but it's in San Francisco, and it's defacing the graves of our fallen heroes, and that's what matters for living. He goes to places like that and ends that but quick. And I've resisted the temptation. Have actually come.
From Active Duty to the Red Carpet: How Hollywood Helped This Veteran Understand Civilian Life
"Welcome everybody today on mission daily. We have Jennifer Marshall. She is a navy veteran and she's now an actress host in all forms of entertainment. She's going to fill in today about what it was like coming out of the military, and then also getting into Hollywood, we're GONNA also find out a little bit about what she has in store for the future Jennifer welcome to mission daily. Thank you so much for having me this husband a work in progress for months now. Well I'll tell you what booking is always crazy I'm sure your schedule's busy schedule gets rearranged all the time to from people cancelling and demanding reschedules, and then we have paid sponsors. It's not always easy. Yeah, gets a little crazy well. Thanks for doing the show and thanks for Karnal period of time for us. Thank you so much for having me. So where are you today right now? So I'm in Los, Angeles today is a very rare day off. So I'm actually in my robe in my bed with my cat, so it's a good day. So, we always like to talk about what you're doing today a little bit how you got here and then what's going on future? So, what are you working on now at I? Don't know if you can even disclosed, but hopefully you can. Oh, Gosh, so unfortunately I can't as actors. Were you know anyone in front of the camera or behind the camera and entertainment? We most of the time we. We signed nondisclosure agreements, and that's just because you know different studios compete. They don't want people knowing who's on their project so I am working on something. Really Great I'm working on projects today I have the day off and so I've got some downtime, and I'm enjoying the downtime. Because once we ramp up and we start shooting. It's going to be a couple. Months of you know relentless. Twelve to sixteen hour days, onset, six or seven days in a row, so I'm definitely enjoying this downtime for the rest of January okay so I want to dive into. Let's dive into that right away. You're famously known as being a navy vet, so the military is generally regarded as a very difficult. Demanding job in there is I would say a notion or this idea. It's probably false and I think it's false. Bad Actors and actresses have. Have it quite easy yet. You just talked about twelve to sixteen hour days six to seven days a week. Tell me what is harder. Is the military or doing your role today? You know it depends because when I was on deployment in the military. That is very difficult. I would say that most of the sites that I go on I am either co-starring, which is just a few lions or one scene on a show that can be. Pretty easy because you're in your trailer most of the day you're relaxing. You're waiting in year. Prepare for when they need you. If your guest starring a little more crazy because you're in several scenes, or you're in one very long seen, that can be quite difficult with the show that I'm hosting right now. Mysteries Dakota very difficult to shoot because I'm in every scene. It's my show. I'm hosting it and so. So there is no downtime I don't have a trailer. Basically just go in the car if I need to relax for a few minutes, but I'm interviewing all the witnesses I'm interviewing all of the experts and so occasionally my co-host will interview somebody, but it is. It's very taxing. It's twelve sixteen hours on set and There's not a lot of downtime so I would say that that in comparison to deployments both. Both are difficult in their own way. And you know being on deployment was definitely more physically difficult, but when you are in front of a camera, and you're hosting a show you have to be on. You have to be intelligent. You have to know what you're talking about. You have to be quick witted. You have to be able to pivot very quickly, and you have to be adaptable, so I find deployment to. To be physically taxing, but I find hosting the show to be very intellectually demanding and I'm drained by the end of the day for sure now I got a quick question for so you're talking about twelve to sixteen hour days. You're talking about six to seven days a week, but a very small percentage of what you do. All the work that you do actually ends up in the final product is that? Is that disheartening hurt that is that just something you've got become used to know? Thank you so much for bringing that up. Because it's people don't understand like especially with my show, they'll say well. You didn't bring up this theory or that theory or this theory and I always tell them. There are so many theories that we look at, but you know when we shoot hours and hours and hours of footage, you know we only have forty one minutes in the show and they're so much. That does not get shown, so there's so many different theories that we do. But it just doesn't make it into the show so additionally. There was a show that I was in probably two years ago called timeless on NBC and shot on that show for five days. Will it turns out that one of the scenes I was in? They completely cuts, and it was a lot of us that were in the scene, and then another scene that I was in. They cut my lines and it didn't have anything to do. Do with performance on. It just had to do with how the scene was set up and that it wasn't really conducive to kind of go into the trench where we were and get the lines because of the hectic nature of the scene, so I shot for five days, and it doesn't look like shot for five days in the final cut so when you're watching whatever you're watching. If you have an actor host in your life, be kind. Kind. Because sometimes it's difficult. You know you give a few days or a few weeks of your life to something, and sometimes it just doesn't show that in the final cut.

Android 11 Beta Unveiled
"We. We need to ask you to take a seat. It's time. We had a little talk talk. Talk about the show. Yeah. We need to have a talk about the show. We wanted to talk to you about a few things, and you may have felt like you know. We are are my parents. If we're going to talk to me about this Oh, dear, it's happening right now. Yes, we're here to talk to you about the show, so you might notice now. If you're watching the video version of this show, you might notice down in the lower third. We have new artwork down there. Anthony Else and we've been working with. With Anthony at twit to redesign kind of the podcast art, the look and feel we thought the android defy characters were little. Allow dated right like Google hasn't even been updating that APP for how long at this point a couple of years I think so. It seemed right at the right time to make changes. As far as that's concerned, we also had been talking a lot between the three of us about some kind of ideas. We have for the show and kind of goals that we want to satisfy. With the show going forward. We've been doing this show for many years now and the format has stayed pretty much the same throughout that time but we knew we wanted to. Kinda like get the length of the show down a little bit. More. Concise WanNa make it appealing to listeners, because the majority of you are listening. You're not watching so some of the things that we would do on. The show might be difficult to follow along with your listener. We just basically wanted to give the podcast. A visual overhaul which is part of the podcast are kind of Redux that we've done. So, we're making some changes. excuse me to kind of the out in the format of the show but nothing nothing like so major that you're not going to recognize things. Yes, we have news. We still have hardware. We still have APPS, and you are considered the android faithful so welcome. Please walk this line with us Yes, we're still going to have guests on the show. Though we have also decided. We really enjoy just doing the show the three of us as well like it's. It's like a different energy different vibe. Three of us, too, so we're probably GONNA have less guests. We've had guess every single episode for so long with the occasional guest episode. Now I'm kind of feeling like it's maybe going to be more like half-and-half, and I'm okay with that. What what about you too, and I think I think? I think that gives us an opportunity to make sure. The guests were bringing in our good mix of our regulars. The folks that we really liked but then also to try to take a little more time to find newer voices and being new perspectives, and and you know it's always great when we get people who work at Google or or people who are developers or close to that. That and when you're on the weekly grind, a booking as Jason can attest who does who does the lion share of that work You're just looking at villa spot. Right so I I think for us. It'd be better to to when we know there's going to be a guest to make sure it's going to be guest. That's going to really like. Raise the bar of the conversation. Yeah! Yeah, I would say I mean. I would I would definitely. Mentioned that any guests that I'm ever reaching out to on the show. Is I'm usually doing that because I'm familiar with their work. I appreciate the work that they're doing and I want to invite them on I. Love All the guests that we have on I think we've done really job with it, but we. The three of US connects so well that sometimes like it's just fun to do this and we really realized how much we enjoy having these episodes. There's just three of us, so we want a little bit more that. And we are going to take a look at APPS. Dot Dot dot. But we're not going to be doing that in the arena anymore. Because this last week's episode was the last arena that we're going to have in this show. which you could pour went out for the arena. Because literally it's been around since the beginning I episode first official arena was March, Twenty eight twenty eleven. And Think about where we were in the smartphone world in twenty eleven, smartphones were relatively new relic. Only APPS were a really big deal because they were very new. The fact that a developer could just like create something that was missing from your phone and release. It and everybody could hop on that show on that train now it's a little different. I feel like the APP. Landscape is a lot different, and we would hear from people you know from time to time it. It would say and I. Love Your Show, but like the arena there'd be complaints about the arena. Like how do you pick the APPS? However, you still finding APPs to feature there. Are you just choosing them the shows a little long, you know I don't really listen to the arena. You hear that over and over again then we started to kind of look at it ourselves and just realize you know. Maybe maybe it's time. Maybe it's time to out to uranium bed.

A Look at Big Mouth
"Here to talk about big mouth. We're here to talk about big mouth. So, we're here to talk about some specific one specific episode, and then there's a couple of things leading into it season three episode eight, where they introduced a character named Ali who is voiced by one of my favorite Comedians of all time Allie Wong And it gets really. But before we get into that, let me ask you. Lillian how'd you watched big mouth or you? A fan of big mouth? Is this a thing that you were just like all right? I'm psyched for this season. I I? Have I I really like like I almost didn't watch it. When it first came out, just because the Internet was so down on it and like just sort of treating it as like Oh. This is just gross gross out humor and stuff like that, but I inevitably did watch it and I really like it. It's like one of my favorite shows on Netflix lakes. So every time a new seasons come out I've always made sure to binge it, and yes, it does have a lot of gross out humor, but it's like it's not like you know Ren and stimpy, whereas just like Oh here's butts for its own sake or something like that. It's like in the service of something you know. Yeah League in this. Oh sorry. Continue almost all of my favorite comedians ever are in big mouth like eleven. Kroll I like John I didn't know that I. Like John Mullany until I saw this. I I especially love Jason Zukas, I love Jason Manzar can. And like the, there's like this weird movement on the Internet to just be like big is one of the worst things of all time, because and tying it back to ren and stimpy. The like lots of Internet disciples of John Kay. Who believe like you know animation beats should be strictly. You know by artists and story, board ESTS, and with no sort of. Slip I mean this is turning into an animation podcast now, but like with no sort of inkling of like scriptwriting or stuff like that and like big Ma, and if you look at big mouth like the artistic style is pretty ugly. Yeah but but I feel like that's on purpose to. Well, and I think that there's there's like every medium. There is a place for a lot of different things whether it's like the writing is so good that it makes up for the animation, which then they can hire great animators to make it better in the lions. I feel like Archer was like that at the beginning like the animation was Janke, but the writing was so good that held up. And now the animation is a lot better. If you see the newer episodes, yeah, like wow, yeah! I guess like with with big mouth me I didn't like it when I I watched it. At all I was put off by, and it's not necessarily the gross out. It was like the gross out for the reason of gross out was sort of like my like I'm good and I gave it another shot, and I'm happy, because I really did enjoy that for season once I finished I finished it. Yeah. I mean for as much as I. Liked it, I will you know cop to? It's not an easy show to get into yeah. But I think I think they do. Do a very not realistic by any means but like. A realistic humor of like sophomoric childish, but at the same time. Of elements that are very sophisticated and very adult, and very like you know what, yeah, we don't talk about ciswomen who go through puberty, really in a comedic sense right and so getting a lot of these voices is actually really good, and like the humor is very funny. Once you're able to sort of look past the fact that it's like Oh they're showing Dick's all the time. And it's like. I mean yeah, I mean it's funny. You mentioned that one of my favorite jokes in the series like I forget what the ultimate context of it, but it's very Meta joke where Andrew just basically mentions. or or maybe it was like the hormone monster basically mentioned like. Sort of animated adult animation and Andrew Responds like, but that's Ju-, but that's basically just animated child pornography, isn't it? And the Hormone Masha goes. Oh I hope not that would get people in a lot of trouble, and he just looks at the camera like right.

Philadelphia police inspector charged with beating protester
"Tonight. PHILADELPHIA'S DA charging police department staff inspector. That's a high ranking police officer with aggravated assault. After a college student was struck in the head with a baton while protesting on Monday but police departments argue the violence goes both ways. Cameras have also captured images of and PD cops appearing to be struck with bricks and projectiles. Some. With US tonight to talk about all of it. Chief of police for the city of Detroit Michigan James Craig Chief. Thank you very much for coming on and the chicken egg question to you is happening more, or are we seeing it more? You, know it's happening. More Brian I can take I've been a practitioner now forty four years. I was on the front seat. Of the. Unrest in Rodney King after the acquittal of the officers and riot so. This is a very different time I'm not seeing anything like it. And certainly the videos show of the Brooklyn officers troubling. I mean is one thing to put someone I don't know circumstances that led up to that. Certainly appeared not to be resist he. Certainly up in age, and then once he hits the ground bleeding. DISTAL walk by and that Render A. That's the one thing that you know when I think about Detroit. Police officers. Ribbon confrontations with violent suspects that are also had to use deadly force. But quickly transitions from. A trying to protect themselves in the community and then render a right away. And then in instances, transport him to the hospital. So to see that It was troubling. That's not what we're here for. The Sad. So many of the protesters have said some version of you try living our lives with the threat. We feel to our lives every day. Friends of mine who are on the job and police departments have. Contacted me to say you try working at twelve, a twelve hour shift getting yelled at and being in equal measure. Fearful and angry on a protest line and there. We have the equation, don't we? We absolutely do Bryant I was out on the front lines with our officers and certainly fortunately over the last several days. We had piece of protests. There have been no confrontations the day, one two, and and some of three. We're talking about projectiles being thrown at the officers in one instance a m. a railroad spikes correct. Railroad spikes I mean. Have you seen? I mean this is the weapon Using a certain way can cause break bodily harm. And so Those officers warrant at Front Line Professional. Resilient. Some of them are being spat upon. The named they were calling. They maintain. I, started nineteen, seventy seven Brian. And it certainly was a different day, so my hat goes out the vast majority, but certainly. This is not to say that those who step across a lion talking about men and women. we have to take a higher ground, but also dealing with violent. Protesters, and I'm not talking about the peaceful protest because the vast majority of them. have been peaceful. They, just want the voices heard, and we support that here in Detroit and it's worked out whale, but there have been a few valid incomes. And you've made this point locally in Detroit so well that. These. Peaceful protests and what happens at night are literally like night and day Do you have a percentage on the arrests you've made at night. How of the percentage of arrestees are from Detroit and how many are not? Seventy Percent Ryan, seventy percent. From outside of Detroit, the Metro area. And then we arrested. Confu about estate three California. So three from California from Ohio Kentucky. And so the million dollar question is why are you here? Why are you in Detroit there? Protests going on out across country. You can stay in New York in protest. WHY COME TO DETROIT? CAN SPECULATE! But certainly those are the ones that are really triggering, but but here's the magic disclosing on Detroit right now Brian, track, the African American community stands with this police department stands with this blaze chief several days ago. they said in a resounding way go home. We don't need you here. You'RE NOT GONNA. Burn our city and I remember a young man growing up here in Detroit in nineteen, sixty seven was a boy. And I remember riot, and I remember what it was like I remember the racism and the beatings. That's it then I would never be a police officer. Tonight here are say many years later. And so excited to be back home in certain meeting. One of the finest booths department America.

As a film Ike out in a sweat second with a US show called fly, brought Bravo which Olivia worked on. From an early age after he was given what he describes as a dangerous little book for Christmas Free stuff for kids. Yes, it was. Just a book that was given to me by the wife of the preacher of my church Miss. mckissick I'll never. Forget her name a wonderful lady who was a lifelong educator as well. And She just gave me that book. One Christmas and it was a key to a new world. Though in the book there were the addresses of various tourism boards and convention and visitors bureaus for cities around the US states and different countries around the world. And if you sent them postcard, they would send you back a packet of information. And this was of course pre Internet I'd get these amazing things I remember. poor sent me this book that was. Every page was as big as a poster, and it was just embossed with this kind of gold card, stock, and just glorious pictures of the Lion City. I remember getting something from the Principality of Monaco. That was sealed in a wax sealed with wax. You know this is in the eighties in Florida like I knew nothing about wax seals, but I was kind of being introduced to a new world of of possibility, and that was what was really kind of getting. That's what got me in a traveling mood early on and I think my parents were a little bit inspired as well just watching me collect all of this information because they've since become travelers themselves. It's just really it does. Kind of spread. That's why they call it a travel bug. That's true well. You got excited for travel and you ended up in Sweden. Take us through that time. Yes, so as a high schooler I remember seeing it movies and other other media people hosting foreign exchange students are going on foreign exchange trips and I remember when I was maybe the tenth grade I was walking in the mall with my parents, and there was a stand for A. Foreign Exchange Company that did it trips for high schoolers, and they also brought students into the US I asked my parents. If we could host a student and they were like no, but you can go and so i. Am going to Sweden for the summer between my. Junior and senior years of high school, the last two years of high school and it was a life forming experience for me. I lived with the family for six weeks in the far north of Sweden. It was the summer so It was pretty much daylight. Around the clock and It was a rural kind of experience. We were living outside of a smaller city and I just remember mosquitoes and lingering sunsets and pine trees but it was an experience that really kind of got me out of what I had known up to. Then and I've never stopped really seeking that adventure

"All of US hyping up brats. I went all it on the browns. You went all in on. The Brown did a lot of content celebrating the BRATS. Okay and I don't feel like we were way off. We were off on Freddie. Kitchens is what I think. Oda Mangum was still a good player. Baker Mayfield is still a good player. The talent is there myles. Garrett is still a good rusher okay. They're the talent. Was there the two things we didn't we overlooked? Was Freddie Kitchens. The first time coach and the offensive line. They saw both those problems. Are they going to be a fourteen win Jim? No they're not but can they win? Ten Games eleven games absolutely. Yeah My guess would be the bus. They still need a left tackle. I think but yeah but yeah they. They brought in the best tackle available. They don't need to add any pieces on the offense. I think's interesting. I think schematically because I think Stefanski is gonNA use it in some interesting ways been overpay But I'm curious to see how factors into that offense. I talked a lot about Baker and his weird declined last year. Like how rare. It is to see quarterbacks become less accurate. There's a very unusual progression. I think you're absolutely right. A lot of that has to do with the offensive line not Just because the offense of lying contributed to his general lack of Papa. Presents doesn't mean it's the offensive line's full but putting more talented players will change that. Having a better coach will change that So I am optimistic about them. I am nervous about the Vikings. I think close But I I kind of lean browns to Did you see I think coward had? The Vikings is like the second best roster in Holland Invest Roster. No comment all right. Just Barth. She's got three questions Retain one. She's Dolphins Fan. Should we really take two or wait a year? Take to a so. I'm I'm confused. The frame of this question is is to supposed to be available at five limit. Peg Or are they gonNA straight up in this situation because I continue to believe that someone putting it. I don't think there's going to be picked up with the fifth that I think he's GonNa be picked the way that we as as a punditry and a League overrate every quarterback to the point. They all get overdraft and all of a sudden. We're supposed to believe that two of is going to be three teams who pass onto. Don't trade out from a quarterback To sell a lot in order to get the assets that leaves the door the chargers to do it for for that Panthers do whatever the Hell your time for your ten year visit so I would do I would I would do it. And as it and figure the rest out later depending on the asking for us but yeah but no one can compete with them are like people that are the chargers you pick behind. They're not going to leapfrog. The dolphins dolphins have like three thousand picks. I mean they could but they don't. I'm just saying like they can outbid whatever team I mean. Obviously I think he's good the lions the lions and the redskins both need defensive stud. Dumbo think defensive stuns to sort of kick. Start the rebuild where that's chase young jacker. Whatever they can't drop that far down or else they're gonna Rousseau's cats and so I think five makes the most sense if either two or three is open for business questions from CEO of which Tiger King character is which NFL head coach past or present. Oh I didn't see pastor president okay so eun our took this one. Okay doc into I was doing present and I had trouble Joe Exotic because there's no wild man coach right. Now I gave Documental Sean Payton. I gave Carol Baskin Global Check but I did not. I didn't I looked across the NFL. Landscape and I did not see jobs on it but now they know pastor presence Rex Ryan step right up so I went the other way. I'm going with a tyler. Perry situation where every enters play by the same person. And it's Broussard's Bruce Arians pools off. Every single character honesty divorcing the characters from their actions. Like no coach is you know is it was questionable. Murder case is going to jail or anything like that so this is this is just about who who would do the best in these situations running a zoo. Or what have you? And I feel like Bruce. Arians play every character's already to go kind of a nutty professor. Jason Kurkin was ticket few more asks. How do you think Mitch? Trubisky will handle the competition quarterback with Foale's in Chicago. Have there's done enough to be a major contender? No one I do not think there are major contender but I was thinking what he's going to let me get. Let me ask you this. How the question is how Tower the bears get ahead. Are They GonNa let Nick Foles? Start me one. Is Anyone at listen. There are no winners from shortened offseason. Or whatever but is. I feel like the bears. Get to just say like odds. He was a weird year. We can't really have a competition. Sorry S. WE'RE GONNA go with Nick. Foles they don't have to go on length and may first charade of this. Competition is open at Mitchell's bisky. You know chilled us a lot last year and were give him every chance to at least job to do that. They can just Ryan case in that anything. Just roll up on July twenty nine if we there and say up. Sorry Brad a time because yeah I can see that It's so hard to like game this out without knowing like is there any a preseason? What's the preseason it'd be like Listen a few months ago. I didn't even think they're gonNA let him compete right remake. You know bring in legitimate competition. Then I thought well it's like a Mario facility or even talked about in front of Mitch put on like TV. So the the sort of trickle of information and rhetoric ever since the trade has all been leading towards Nick foles actually getting an opportunity which is frigging fascinating and you know we heard a million times. He's got the relationship knows Nagy's offense from Kansas City. Yada Yada matters now for the reasons Kevin Talking about so we'll see now as as far as the team being a contender. I will take an L. here. I thought the bears defense would regress more than they did last year. I think they outperformed my expectations. I I always say great. Defenses Progress Right But that defense was better than I thought. Last year I think but I think some of these losing players around the margins is GonNa hurt. They don't have first round pick it just. It doesn't unless full catches fire which I don't know if you've heard of that's happened before It's going to be rough tough uphill climb for them. Yes and I. I didn't have a really good roster and I think that there's interesting it's going to be hard. I think the packers win that division. I not out the bears contending I from division I think that not for it full Chiller I think he's. He's all he needs to be. If that defense is good all needs to be is average to above average and which he's shown inability to do and I think that they can they can squeeze out names. I mean so much of that. I think it's the eight to eleven wins so much of it is just a couple of breaks and you know we'll baloch year there and they're in the mix in that zone. Take three more questions. This is from S v Tamer. Would you rather only laugh at inappropriate times or never laugh again? Ever like your body doesn't allow you to laugh. Never ever did depend what depends on one at work. You're on I mean it would be imagine no game you turn on the TV. It's around the horn. We're talking about something serious like the virus in opposite. I'm like I can't. I can't do that bad that I would choose. Never again but smile.

"Hampers eighty six months. No if we think Derek Marcus Mariota can take Derek cars starting spot and then reiter eighty asks hell along with the raiders. Suffer with Gruden as coach. Take John Gruden's have been coach. I feel like people keen. Everybody Kinda goofed on him so hard during his first couple years running the team you know in like saying some outlandish stuff in the Matt Trade. Which in hindsight is look so bad in this and that they forgot. He's really good coaching offense. So I think we all overlook including myself is that this whole mcvay revolution will. That was Jon Gruden yet. He births that in a lot of different ways not just the fact use their boss. Civil the offense or principles. I don't like Shanahan gets credit for that. But Jon Gruden should as well Marcus. Mariota beat out. Derek Carr yes because John gruden's forget a Jon Gruden sours on quarterbacks really quickly as relation with a lot of them or or at one point. Did it because it up afterwards? But in less you're rich Gannon Your joggers really hard on you and be looking to replace you. And so I think that. That's you're always in danger of being benched if you're if John Gruden's or back even if he lived and I also at even if you live next door to him he he will he just. He goes to quarterbacks as what he does at the Derek Carr fantasy owner in my dynasty league with Danny Kelly in which I want beating fantasy grow dining Dan Kelly last year. I O and Derek Carr. I really hope this doesn't happen. I said on this podcast. They believed their car was fine last season. Unfortunately I think we're kind of reaching the point where his risk aversion is a feature not a bug in isn't something that can be fixed by adding weapons. But he will give them competent quarterback play. I think I like what the raiders did in Free Agency on particular. I Mitch. I love the linebackers they added. I think Corey Hilton's one of the most underrated players in the NFL elected not subsiding But they didn't really give car much on his side of the ball.

They are covered with a thick coat of short fine. Dark hairs called under for their under for keeps them warm in winter. The second kind of hair they have is guard hairs. These hairs are up to four inches long. And they're very rate-sensitive porcupines don't have very good eyesight. So when they're backing down a tree or walking along the ground there guard hairs can feel feel where there are branches and trees and other things that they might bump into and they tell the porcupine where to step the third kind of hair. Porcupines Porcupines have is quills. They are hollow stiff important and the pointed tip is covered with tiny barbs or hooks their quills. Protect them from most predators. The longest quills are on the porcupines. Rump and the shortest quills are on his cheeks. An individual porcupine may have thirty thousand or more quills. PORCUPINE quills all over their body except for their belly Ali but they rarely poke themselves with their own quills when they're scared or threatened porcupines crew up in a ball and tuck their head down next to their quilt less belly. None of their quills are pressed against other quilt muscles. In a porcupine skin can raise their quills when they are frightened didn't and when the dangerous past the muscles lower that quills porcupines usually live alone in their dense. So they don't have to worry about poking gene another porcupine quills. You may have heard that a porcupine can throw it's quills. But this is not true it can slap its tail and a few view lose quills. May Fall out but in order for a dog or any other animal to get a face full of porcupine. quills its face has to come in contact with with the porcupine. When this happens the porcupine can then loosen its quills? Further so that they become stuck in the animal with those little barbs at the tip that has come in contact with one. Might think it would hurt a mother porcupine to give birth to a baby porcupine because of the sharp hard quills. It's but when a baby porcupine is born it's quills are very soft and bendable so as not to injure the mother the quills harden within in several days of the birth. Thank you so much for your question. There are no hedgehogs at least not wild hedgehogs in north central or South America but some of you in Europe Asia Africa and New Zealand are lucky enough to live in places where there are hedgehogs like porcupines. The hedgehogs don't have quills on their belly and when they're relaxed their quills. Go down just like porcupines. They kind of lie flat so they're less likely to be pokey but unlike porcupines hedgehog quills aren't barbed. They don't have a hook on the end so while you could get poked by a hedgehog. That's in a defensive position with their quill standing up. I mean probably because you reached your hand out to touch it. Those quills won't get stuck in your skin and pull out of the hedgehog like porcupines might now from land to sea three questions about fish. Hi My name's Giovanni and I live in Denver Colorado and I'm nine years old. My question question is do fish p hi my name is Joe. "Every two weeks we answer questions from curious kids just like you all over the world on any topic. Yeah truly anything anything but one of the things you send us a lot of questions about is the animal world you are really curious about all the creatures that live on this planet and we think that's really cool so today we're going to answer questions about six of those creatures. LIONS CRICKET DEER PORCUPINES SIS. What what do those animals have in common? Well nothing that I know of so. Let's just get to our first question names l.. In my question to lions roar kill you can suss show my name. Olivia I'm from Montana and I five. Why do why more? Hi My name's Cli- I live in Physics Arizona and my question is why the Lions always war for answers. We turn to Paolo Bouli of Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique. Why do lion's roar lions liked liked to live in very large wild areas that are full of forests and rivers and Grasslands but alliance roars very loud and powerful and can can travel through the air for a long way at night so even though different lions might be far from each other when they will begin roaring at night all the other the lions get to know which are the lions coasts by lions are social they live in groups and so it's very important they communicate with each other and yeah no it? Everyone else is. And that's why lion's.

"On. INSTAGRAM blogging dot. The DOT boys. In your story whatever you can also tag us on facebook. There's lots of ways to get into contact but the cowboys do get the DUB on the road in the three one three thirty five five twenty seven over the Detroit. Lions back to their winning ways the cowboys six in four with their annual two games and five full days. Stretch coming up as you know. The Dallas COBB would be on the road next Sunday taking on the New England patriots. I will be there with my wife and my parents We're GONNA have to put my puppy in place for a few days. It's going to be very painful for me. I'm not very excited about that but I'll be in Boston if you're going to be there hit me up and we'll try to figure something out already talking to a few people that are planning on being in the area that game's going to be epic. Needless to say and I'm recording this at this particular moment it's about halftime. There's about a minute left in the first half between the Eagles and the Patriots so the result of that game not known at this particular moment. I said a minute going. This is like seven minutes now that I look at it but it's ten to three at this point. I'm GonNa Guess that at the Patriots come back to win. I come back down by seven points but I think the Patriots probably win this game. The cowboys are already six four. That would put the eagles at five and five on the season obviously if they win their six and four as well and it goes without saying that an eagles loss is the much more preferred outcome for the cowboys so the cow was mentioned. We'll visit the Patriots seven days from trump today and then they will host the buffalo bills on the Thursday after which is Thanksgiving. Hopefully your Thanksgiving plans are fine. Not Stressful I know that this time of year concern. Yeah well it is all fun there can be a lot goes into it with traveling and people and family and whatnot but anyway cowboys get the win. Thirty five twenty seven. I think we all thought right antiquated they will get this win. There was no Matthew Stafford for the Lions Jeff Driscoll I thought Jeff Driscoll played really well actually in a story that no one will care about in one of the Dynasty Leagues. I'm in I was in a pinch. Because I had no quarterback Russell Wilson Aaron Rodgers and I had Ryan Tannehill who I picked tap and they were all on a by. And if you've ever been in a dynasty lead you know the quarterback's aren't exactly available so had nobody available literally. Nobody on the waiver wire. I thought about picking up taste them hill bill and just hoping that he got maybe he caught a touchdown or something but not thankfully because it sucks and matthew stabbing play was able to pick up Jeff Driscoll had twenty seven and a half points from me so not bad. I'm probably going to lose them. But whatever Jeff just finished fifteen of twenty six for two hundred nine yards two passing touchdowns he did have eight carries on the ground for fifty one yards and another score. I tell you what there's a lot to like about chapter school and you know there's a lot of talk league-wide about how we're entering a phase where teams are going to be looking for quarterbacks ex- obviously you've got the Cincinnati bengals trickle started and the bears and the titans maybe even in the panthers and there's a lot of teams and so I think Jeff Driscoll guys Ugh I could be around for a little while but he was not enough on Sunday especially not enough despite getting a huge boost from both scarborough former Dallas. How's college draft? Pick fourteen carries fifty five yards and a touchdown on the ground for Bo scarbrough. In fact the three leading rushers from this game. bTV's Danny Phantom pointed this out on twitter. You're leading rusher from cowboys. Lines was Bo. SCARBROUGH with fifty five rushing yards jeff driscoll was number two with fifty one rushing yards and Ezekiel Elliott was number three with forty five rushing yards. In fact there was a running back to the cowboys. Drafted that led this game in rushing. It was just Bo. SCARBROUGH over Over Zeke Elliott Zeke. Elliot had forty five rushing yards as mentioned in this game. And what do you know that is. The fewest amount of rushing arts has ever had in a cowboys victory since being part of the team dating all the way back to twenty six. The previous low Zeke had fifty three rushing yards earlier this season in week one against the New York giants that was the fewest. He'd ever had in a win. This is obviously the new low. And what does that say obviously Dak Prescott Ball down that week one game against the giants and he did it again against the line so it says there was a lot of talk really thought it was interesting Charles Davis earlier on Sunday morning on. NFL network kind of talked about this. And then when he and Kevin Kevin Burkhardt started the game they really talked about this. How in their talks and their discussions with the cowboys? There was a lot of focus on how they were really kind of changing their identity and becoming a passing asking team etc.. And you look at those two games at least as mentioned week one from the giants the fifty. Three artem Zeke and week. Eleven against the lines. Forty five yards from the UK. Did score I think it's important into not did have a rushing touchdown obviously had the amazing receiving one. We'll get there but Dak Prescott was the star as he has been this season and a lot of people are kind of coming around to to the notion that back Prescott is is an MVP candidate and we talked about this. Had to cowboys beating the Minnesota Vikings and then obviously there would have been the lines. It'd be seven and three right now. As opposed to six and four the talk all last week would have been especially if the cowboys had scored on that last drive Where they ran on second and third into I mean Dak Prescott will be in the? MVP Conversation he is in that conversation. I think that the Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson are well ahead of that press. It doesn't help. The Shaun Watson had a bad game on Sunday and I say doesn't help in terms of his own individual. MVP Candidacy but decks right there. I mean Data Sean. Kind of fighting for third. Not that you know you get any awards for finishing third in the MVP vote but the MVP race really. This is the time of year where it heats up no matter what you did in September and October. This is where that award is want so dak.. Prescott is at the very released in striking distance again. Four hundred forty four yards three touchdowns six carries for eighteen yards himself. I think Dak Prescott ran when it was appropriate. And you know what else to cowboys guy. I don't WanNa veer off too far from Jack. But they got some production finally at of Tony Pollard. Two carries for twelve yards. That sounds like nothing however Tony bothered in the passing forecast is forty four yards. Had his own touchdown I mentioned Zeke had the receiving touchdown. I'm sure you watch the game. Maybe you didn't maybe busy. Maybe you had to work. But ZEKE's catch low down to the ground kind of behind him. It was kind of a last second throw throw from Dak Prescott and he was able to really take it into the end zone. Did an awesome celebrations youth did where he imitated. Dax Hip movement dance wild or went viral last week on Sunday night football and I tweeted this clip out. Every time. That Zeke every time two of the three times there's e Elliott has played the Detroit lions after he has scored a touchdown. He has honored his teammates. And if you need the video to this I encourage. They'll watch it's on the blog on the boys instagram and we tweeted out. I can go look on my twitter when the cowboys beat the Lions. I think it was the day after Christmas in two thousand sixteen. Zeke had a huge fifty one yard touchdown and he did Throughout the Dez Bryant he did a coal. Beazley's sauce celebration. We put it on his on his feet and then wiped it away and then he did. Terrance Williams is like walk off sort of celebration. It was this really cool thing where he kind of honored all of his teammates and so on Sunday against the lions he scored and he did the dance. And so it's a cool little tradition. I guess every time the cowboys play the lions they have to find a way to honor. Zeke has to find a way to honor his team it so that was good. I tell you what this offencive performance I. It's hard to be disappointed by huge game from Michael Gallup amazing catch. That wasn't a touchdown. Amazing Circus Catch Michael Gallup amazing performance from Randall Cobb amazing touchdown Fernando Cobra. He took a huge shot. Drew a flag still managed to hold on make the touchdown catch. I need to go back and look at this. I I tweeted this on Randall Cobb touchdown he had a huge pickup on that drive a few catches before and he chose to cut back in bounds. As opposed post cutting out of bounds at the time cowboys only had one time out. They were inside the two minute warning of the first half I don't know just from the TV copy. I don't know what Randall Cobb saw but that could have been costly. I think it's important to know a game. The cowboys won by eight points. And I'm not just trying to pick. I mean believe me. I know that we should definitely be celebrating. There was a rough week but that could have been a very very big moment. Randall COBB had had in fact or should he have I should say have been the case that shooting on out of bounds if he had caused the cowboys time time and not been able to Hadn't been able to score but thankfully he was able to score himself rendering the whole conversation. Moot unless you're me but but yeah I mean authencity. This was a a great performance from the cowboys. Flexed a lot of muscle behind their leader. Dak Prescott However the only real merit against the cowboys and a lot of you tweeted about this? We'll get to your questions. Russians and stuff and a little bit was the slow start. I mean it hasn't been talked about all week long. It's been a thing forever. The couch start really slow. The only game this season that they haven't really we started. That slow was against Philadelphia. Eagles back on October twentieth and a lot of that was that they benefited from turnovers. They benefited from Saxon benefited from pressure. They benefited from shore fields. And all that type of fun but the Slow Start Syndrome continued in Detroit. Cowboys did not win the toss Choi today deferred cowboys on first down. Incomplete incomplete and okay cool. You're throwing on I. I like that and then on. Second Down Zeke Elliott runs and fumbles gives the lines the ball. They're able to go down and score themselves in the cowboys on their second possession come out go three and out. That's tough man. I mean this slow star thing is an issue. I don't know how you fix it. I mean it's what what's the what's the magic fix. Yeah I mean when when you bring that subject up and you say Gosh We. We need to figure out how to stop starting slow. I think the answer becomes you know well score right luck doc. Let's let's just score and maybe those are the plays and those in the moments those are the situations that are scripted like they are every NFL team. There's clearly clearly some lack of you know I don't want to say lack of connection or lack of fire but those plays are clearly not called it the same level divergency perhaps as the rest of the game because they're not working to the same degree but for what it's worth. Dad was asked about this. After the game he met with Fox's Pam Oliver Obviously obviously in the post game celebrating the win. And you know he said I mean look. I don't know how to fix this. I guarantee if we did we would fix it. But we're going to get it done. Here's Dak Prescott on the Fox. postgame talking to Pam Oliver. You wanted.

BBC news. A warm. Welcome to the conversation. The program with an all female perspective. I'm kim. Chuck Anisim each week two women from different countries come together to talk about a shed passion, profession or experience. Africa's lion. Population has been devastated. They are now less than two thousand lions and Kenya. In the US. The grizzly bear has also been reduced to a tiny remnant of the historic population. My guest today or two women who have dedicated they live turning things around. I want to know from them. What women can bring to conservation efforts? And whether it's all a losing battle shivani Bhalla founded a Wasser lions in two thousand and seven the organization works in northern Kenya. With local communities to encourage them to not kill lions, but live alongside them in two thousand fourteen shivani was awarded a Whitley fund for nature award for her passion for conservation and big cats in particular, shivani, welcome. Thank you so much Kim very happy to be here for the best part of three decades. Louisa Wilcox has been advocating for the preservation of the grizzly bear in the US who work has put her in direct. Opposition to those who believe that the bears are now thriving and they're longer need to be listed as an endangered species. She runs a website and podcast called the grizzly times. Louisa welcome. Thank you. It's great to be here Louisa and shivani for someone like me who lives in the city. Why should I care about animals like lions and bears being in decline? In remote rural parts to me. The grizzly bear is a magical and mystical animal. It is so much like us. It's smart. It has a good memory at walks on his hind legs. Like, we do at each many of the same foods. And and it nurtures it's young for many years. But more importantly, even it's the essence of the wild wild west in the United States that we've largely lost plowed under clear-cut or developed, and it reminds us of a more ancient past that was connected to nature wild nature in a way that increasingly scarce. Now, shivani what is the case for carrying? So I love what Lewis said about it being the essence of the while. It's very much the same with lions across Africa. Imagine an African savannah without lions. Imagine a savannah that is so quiet that you can't hear the roar of a lion. And that sadly is the reality for me as a Kenyan not having lions in. Kenya is something so serious. It is a symbol of our country. It is a majestic animal. It is on our coat of arms, and I really do feel. It is my responsibility ensure that lions in Kenya. Don't disappear people from all over the world. Come to see lions in Kenya. And it's a global responsibility to protect them Louisa when it comes to the conservation of powerful predators. Like lions and bays. Do you think women do things differently terms of their approach? I absolutely do think women do things fundamentally differently. There's much more of a. Sense of community of trying to develop relationships in community to problem solve to understand the root of conflicts wire bears and people having trouble in this particular landscape, where the points of intervention whereas and this is a horrible generalization. But in my experience often, the guys come in with a lot of firepower and try to solve things with a gun, and it can be over very quickly and very tragically and doesn't make the larger point that fundamentally. We don't have to kill these animals. We can coexist. She's funny. What about lions made you want to go and live in a camp in the middle of absolutely no way to monitor them and protect them. Yes. It's true. I've lived in a ten for the last seventeen years, my ten size has grown. Fortunately. In fact, I'm speaking to you from my tenth right now. And for me, it's about I've always had this obsession with the big cats. So it started off with cheetahs and then turned into lions about eleven years ago when I couldn't see cheetahs anymore. But I was seeing lions absolutely every single day. And it was then that I discovered. Wow, these lions are so different to what I remember seeing growing up going on this safaris with my parents on safari. I would see big prides of lions, but here in some boroughs, saying individual lions, solitary lions, what was happening and that really sparked my interest Louisa you spoke very eloquently about your admiration and affinity for forbears. The what caught you insult and trying to protect them. Specifically grizzly bears were very very scarce in the nineteen seventies. And I will never forget my first encounter in the mountains. I taught mountaineering for a number of years, and it was an evening. I was trying to get down to camp. I wasn't paying much attention. I was really tired and out of the dusky gloom in this small meadow. I was just barging through was this grisly bear. And it was this split second moment of locking is. And there was this intelligence wisdom. I mean it felt. Time stood still felt like and it wasn't because the bear just took off disappeared into the woods. And I just went. Oh my God. What was that? And of course, I knew they were bears. You you would see signed bet I'd never had an encounter. It didn't take very long before. I realized how scarce they really were maybe four hundred bears in the greater Yellowstone ecosystem this vast region. And then one thing led to another and finding out how how often they died. How bloody a mess we were creating. There was poaching going on a lot of unnecessary killing. And I just went we can do better. We don't have to kill these last few animals that are you know, hanging on by their by their claws. Really? And so that's what I've dedicated my life to she von is there an encounter that comes to mind with a particular animal that made you think about them differently. About twelve years ago. I got very used to seeing a lioness every day we named her Nasha pie, which means the beautiful one in the local assembler language. She was an incredible hunter a terrible mother. But then she got older things got harder for her. And I remember driving along one day and it was getting late. It was getting dark, and I saw a whole herd of cows crossing the road, and then I looked to my right and sure enough stalking. Cows was not pie this lion. As and I knew we had to stop that. Because one of the biggest problems we face it as human line conflict lions kill cows and camels, and then then you get retaliation with the lions in shot or speared. And I knew art team has got to stop these cows from being killed by Nasha pie. And we drove in between her and these cars, and it didn't stop her. She just kind of tried to walk around car, and we try to chase the cows as quickly as we could across the river. And it meant us driving inside the river and the cars was slowly slowly getting across. We actually had to get out of the car and chase her on foot. She got so frustrated with us that she disappeared into the bushes. But it really showed me how tough it was for her. She was getting old. She was alone. She was finding no natural prey the biggest problem lion's face. Here's the lack of food lack of wild pray for them. And here she was chasing the cause. But we knew we got to stop the cars from being killed because these are the livelihood to the local people if she killed a cow her future. Her security was at risk. And there were chances. She would be killed. So it's this constant battle that we're trying to address every day. So you visa this is something that must resonate with you. Because you also trying to reduce. Human bear conflict. How will you working on that? Yes. I mean, one of the first things that should be said is that grizzly bears? Don't die for the most part of natural causes they die because people kill them in one kind of conflict or another and that's even with forty years of protection under the Endangered Species Act. So we've really been working to try to alleviate conflicts. And even with that we're still killing them many argue, including myself at unsustainable rates. What are the very early areas of my work involved garbage? Because grizzly bears are smart they eat a lot of the same stuff. We do and they will get into town community residences and eat whatever refuse is left out. You know, whether it's garbage or dog food on a porch or livestock feed, and that kind of thing and nothing is rocket science in terms of coexistence with grizzly bears are or carnivores generally is commonsense preventative stuff like putting your trash inside putting your livestock. Penn at night or in a barn keeping attractiveness away from bears, and sometimes that meant developing new garbage system. So that was a big community effort because he thinks are can be expensive. So that took a lot of work and many many people in the community had to agree that they wanted to live with bears. So you had to have a level of support and tolerance and goodwill to bears enter to problem solving. And so that was a lot of my early work that has shifted in recent years to an issue that relates to climate change. We've been losing some of our native grizzly bear foods and intern bears have had to find other things to eat. So they've been getting tangled up in conflicts with cows sound a little bit like Chavannes experience too. And there's many things that cattleman can do about getting rid of carcasses. So they're not available so easily to bears electric fence around pans, more serious, fencing and bear spray is a big one. It's a kind of new technological development. It's basically hot pepper in a can that's sprayed in a cloud and gets in their eyes and nose. So in a counter situations people can spray bears and get them to leave. So do they tend to leave did attend to lead? Yes. Absolutely ninety four percent of the close encounters involving hairspray successfully deterred the bear. Okay. Small straight for those shivani. I'm just thinking in these communities that you're working in the wealth is in the livestock, and if a lion takes the families only cough. Don't they have the right to retaliate? Of course. Yes. The camels cows donkeys sheep mean everything for the postulates, it's their life. It's their Bank. And when a line comes to kill your only car camel,.

"Brad, brad. Oh, it's not. I don't think either team's going to be able to stop the other. The lions are really bad on defense. The Panthers are really bad on defense. I think this is going to be a very comical shootout. Like both teams are going to score touchdowns. And you're going to be like what the hell was that? I think that because it's a road game. I think we'll probably gonna fall flat because that's just what I I'm a negative. Nancy? I think Detroit is going to win thirty eight to thirty five New Orleans Saints Pepe game. Dislike. Two thousand fifteen and sixteen where like four games one of the teams worth thirty points. Either us of the saints something. "Got it i got to make sure we get this right we gotta you know just it drives me even now and i see somebody from detroit i just instantly feel that loyalty to i have to do everything possible i can to try to hopefully win you know a game i don't know you know at this point but just because there's so many people that are excited and i don't want to let them down yeah it's amazing to know the detroit lions history which is so glorious but it hasn't been glorious for almost a half century so is there any part of that that you pay attention to it all this really long drought between being a championship team and today i mean i don't look at that negative part about it i loved the history the great part of it you know and like you said there is such a wonderful history with the organization and what's amazing is you know my background of a lot of it too comes from coach bela check in through his dad you know in in some of the old films that he was able to get a hold of from detroit and were sitting there watching eight millimeter you know of his dad in a note in those great teams which is awesome um i don't look at those other than other things you know i also i'm trying to focus on is what i can do moving forward and hopefully like i said try to do the best i kinda you know um you know not let anybody down in those situations if if i'm watching the detroit lions this november hopefully you are yet what what what's the kind of what's the style of football on both sides of the ball that i'm going to be what yeah i'm in i'm my biggest thing that hope.

"We're have so familiar word but how does this moved actually help of the detroit lions as they tried to surge make a late surge in the back half of the season although line definitely have struggled when it comes to stopping the run in the last couple of weeks um they gave up two hundred rushing yards to uh the brown struggled against the again in chicago those rookie quarterback at our global and have been able to get outside of the pocket on land and get the guards and we're out way that has hurt them in the past couple of weeks and i think holding nodded going down has been part of that uh he's the key part of becky the blind so he really in that defense of wind on any help that they can get especially with the status uh onshore for this week i'm sure they'll pay tori petrie from detroit lions dot com allied steam gentle hero tune in tori kicker matt prater tremendous once more on the road in chicago on sunday is he embraced on this team more than some special teams players are around the league because undeniably prater is one of the best players on the lions roster yeah though guy matt trader i mean they now that they had a money kicker back trader here so what they really isn't it kick the he can't make he has made so many incredible on or them he oko pap that er that he then and it's his thirteenth game winning field goal in his career so the guy is is just clutch when it comes to those kinds of situations and that one was even more impressive because of the weather factor and the players and that locker room love have that they will tell you uh if you ask them any day of the week that are out there glad to have that creator.
