Is Ron DeSantis' Team Going to Take on Trump Head On?
"The polls that basically saying Ron DeSantis down the polls because he was a conservative in Florida And Trump is up in the polls not because he's just a guy people like and had a really conservative presidency himself But because he really sucks and people can't find an alternative in the San Francisco conservative But there's another takeaway from this The desantis expected announcement tonight at 6 o'clock Pretty much confirmed at this point by the way The second takeaway is the biggest question I find that I genuinely don't know the answer I don't like talking about things on the air I don't have a solid answer for because I don't want to waste your time I mean imagine going to a whodunit movie and they don't tell you at the end Like who done it Oh I don't know just guess It's like that movie vanilla sky That movie drives me crazy because it's like they never explain what the hell happened The guy's like customer support What the hell does that mean Did this happen or not Can you just tell me I wish they would just put a footnote at the end None of this stuff really has like Jacob's ladder You don't know what the hell happened at the end of the movie I don't like asking questions I don't know the answer to But I'm not sure what the desantis team is going to do Are they going to take on Trump head on Or not Well that's kind of a weird question No no it's the only question Because nobody who's taken on Trump head on Has survived politically to tell about it No one They're all politically speaking I'm not a violent leftist Buried 6 feet deep Never to be heard from again At least on a national scale You can't You can't take the guy You can't He's The Lion King man He's the apex predator I mean who's going to beat the lion

Why do so many Black women die in pregnancy? For one thing, doctors don't take them seriously
"Black women in the U.S. are nearly three times more likely to die during pregnancy or delivery than any other race, and sometimes it's because of racial bias. Angelica and Anthony alliance are sisters from Birmingham, Alabama, and they both had traumatic pregnancies, Angelica became pregnant in 2019 at her son was due the following January, Angelica, who worked at the university of Alabama at Birmingham, says she experienced severe pain during her pregnancy and in October checked into the hospital affiliated with the university. She says she was treated for constipation but her pain persisted. I got in the bed, I felt this strong pain from vaginal area all the way up to my chest. I screamed. That was literally the beginning of literally them constantly leaving me in pain. Angelica says her pleas for help were shrugged off even after vomiting bile, and she was repeatedly sent home from the hospital because doctors and nurses claimed she was experiencing normal contractions. She says she wasn't taken seriously until a searing pain shot through her body and her baby's heart rate plummeted she was rushed into delivery two months before her due date, Angelica says she was on life support for three days and almost didn't make it. It's scary knowing that I could have died, you know? My mom, my sister, my ex-husband, would have to be, you know, taking care of my son and I wouldn't be. And even in my records, I think they have it down that I have PTSD with that hospital. Angelica lions experience is a reflection of the medical racism bias and inattentive care that many black Americans endure. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that black women have the highest maternal mortality rate in the U.S. 69.9 deaths per 100,000 live births in 2021. That's almost three times the rate for white women and black babies are more likely to die and be born prematurely, setting the stage for health issues that could follow them through their lives, black Americans health issues have long been ascribed to genetics or behavior when actuality and array of circumstances were linked to racism, restrictions on where people could live and a historical lack of access to care, Angelica's sister and Sonia says when it came time for her to have her baby where she developed complications after two previous miscarriages, her doctor referred her to the same hospital where Angelica almost died. My heart kind of dropped when you said because I didn't want to go to that hospital. From which she had already gone through, I was traumatized. Alabama has a dark history of medical racism, in the 1800s, J Marion Sims, known as the father of gynecology, performed surgical experiments on enslaved black women. He did not use anesthesia. There's a statue of Sims outside the Alabama state capitol. I'm Donna water

James Lindsay: Marxist Tactics Exposed
"They know there's legitimate issues around civil rights and especially that there have been in the past So they hide in those things as radical splinter cells And then they erupt out these very intentional deliberate tactics But the key point of the lecture I gave the parliament in Europe was that when we look at western Marxism we have to look at Marxism as a system that attacks civilizations or societies And it's going to find where it can get in So in peasant societies like you had in Russia in 1917 and China like you had in 1949 it can get in through class It can work its way in through class division But in the west the marxists of the 20th century admitted it won't get in through class in America in Western Europe because we have class mobility If you work your ass off you can rise up in the structure as the marxists themselves said we see the capitalism allows people to build a better life that stabilizes the working class so they won't be a revolutionary class So they have to use the same motif but they put it in a different location So I said you don't want to think of it like with animals like with genus versus species The genus is cats in this case it's Marxism but if you think of genus as cats you got tigers you got lions you got house cats you got bobcats You got pumas They're all different kinds of cats but they're all still cats Here Marxism is one type of attack on a civilization One type of modality to take over sees control of the means of production and ruinous society And you've got class based Marxism which is classical Marxism You've got race based Marxism which is critical race theory You've got what's considered normal based Marxism and that's queer theory and the gender theory You've got based on men and women patriarchy or whatever you want to call it you got Marxist feminism It's the exact same attacks the exact same structure the exact same goals and the goal is actually just to seize power In whatever they want to do after they get power is what we're all going to get which looks a lot like eating bugs and living in pods

1 Samuel 17: 19-36 David and Goliath
"But I probably will tomorrow. Just to let you know, just heads up on that one. Probably say it again tomorrow. But today is day one one zero. I don't know why I'm saying it like that. Day 110. Oh my gosh, you guys, this is the stop for a second. 810. Well done. Phenomenal work. I just, what a gift. Here we are, reading from first Samuel chapter 17, praying, psalm 12. First Samuel chapter 17, David and Goliath. Now, the Philistines gathered their armies for battle, and they were gathered at so called, which belonged to Judah, and encamped between soko and azaka, and FS Damien. And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered, and encamped in the valley of elah, and drew up in line of battle against the Philistines. And the Philistines stood on the mountain on the one side and Israel stood on the mountain on the other side with a valley between them. And there came out from the camp of the Philistines, a champion named Goliath of gath, whose height was 6 cubits and a span. He had a helmet of bronze on his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail, and the weight of the coat was 5000 shekels of bronze, and he had grieves of bronze upon his legs, and a javelin of bronze, slung between his shoulders, and the shaft of his spear was like a weaver's beam, and his spears head weighed 600 shekels of iron and his shield bearer went before him. He stood, and shouted to the ranks of Israel. Why have you come out to drop for a battle? Am I not a philistine and are you not servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves and let him come down to me. If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be our servants and serve us. And the philistine said, I defy the ranks of Israel this day. Give me a man that we may fight together. When Saul and all Israel heard these words of the Philistines, they were dismayed and greatly afraid. Now David was the son of an epithet of Bethlehem and Judah, named Jesse, who at 8 sons. In the days of Saul, the man was already old and advanced in years, the three eldest sons of Jesse had followed Saul to the battle, and the names of his three sons who went to the battle were eliab the firstborn, the next to him, abhinav, and the third shamah. David was the youngest. The three eldest followed Saul, but David went back and forth between Saul to feed his father's sheep at Bethlehem. For 40 days the philistine came forward and took his stand morning and evening. And Jesse said to David his son, take for your brothers and ifa of this parched grain and these ten loaves and carry them quickly to the camp to your brothers, also take these ten cheeses to the commander of their thousand. See how your brothers fare and bring some token from them. Now Saul and they and all the men of Israel were in the valley of Ella, fighting with the Philistines. And David rose early in the morning and left the sheep with a keeper and took the provisions and went as Jesse had commanded him, and he came to the encampment as the host was going forth to the battle line, shouting the war cry. And Israel and the Philistines drew up for battle army against army and David left the things in charge of the keeper of the baggage and ran to the ranks and went and greeted his brothers. As he talked with them, behold, the champion, the philistine of gath, Goliath by name, came up out of the ranks of the Philistines and spoke the same words as before, and David heard him. All the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were much afraid. In the men of Israel said, have you seen this man who has come up? Surely he has come up to defy Israel and the man who kills him, the king will enrich with great riches and will give him his daughter and make his father's house free in Israel. And David said to the men who stood by him, what shall be done for the man who kills this philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel. For who is this uncircumcised philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God? And the people answered him in the same way, social it be done to the man who kills him. Now eliab his eldest brother heard when he spoke to the men, and elie abs anger was kindled against David, and he said, why have you come down? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness, I know your presumption, and the evil of your heart. For you have come down to see the battle. And David said, what have I done now? Was it not but a word? And he turned away from him toward another, and spoke in the same way, and the people again answered him as before. When the words which David spoke were heard, they repeated them before Saul, and he sent for him. And David said to Saul, let no man's heart fail because of him. Your servant will go and fight with this philistine. And Saul said to David, you are not able to go against this philistine to fight with him. For you are but a youth, and he has been a man of war from his youth. But David said to Saul. Your servant used to keep sheep for his father, and when there came a lion or a bear and took a lamb from the flock, I went after him and struck him and delivered it out of his mouth. And if it arose against me, I caught him by his beard and struck him and killed him. Your servant has killed both lions and bears, and this uncircumcised philistine shall be like one of them, seeing that he has defied the armies of the living God. And David said, the lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this philistine. And Saul said to David, go. And the lord be with you. Then saw clothed David with his armor. He put a helmet of bronze on his head and clothed him with a coat of mail, and David belted on his sword over his armor, and he tried in vain to go, for he was not used to them. Then David said to Saul, I can not go with these, for I'm not used to them. And David

Pray the Word with David Platt
Asking God to Reveal Your Sin
"O lord my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands. So what's interesting about this verse and why I want to lead us to pray according to it is because it's in the middle of versus around it in psalm chapter 7 and other psalms where the psalmist is being accused and attacked from different sides from evildoers even the very beginning of the psalm, says O lord my God and you do I take refuge, save me from all my pursuers and deliver me less like a lion they tear my soul apart, rending it with pieces with none to the liver, but then he has in verse three. O lord my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands and he basically begins to pray for awareness of if he has done this to others if he has verse forces repaid his friend with evil or plundered his enemy without cause specifically has he in any way send against God in the way he has responded to others attacks. And what I love about this verse is the way it promotes in us a posture of humility that says God help me to see when I send help me not to be so focused even when others are sinning against me on their sin that I lose sight of my own sin, including my tendency to send against them and response to their send toward me. I think about the vivid talking about unintentional sense, ways that we are prone to sin against God. And against others in ways we don't even realize and so the psalmist is searching his heart in this verse, O lord my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands, that's a good way for all of us to pray to pause and say to God, God open our eyes to any and every way. We are sending against you or against others.

And part of it is, I just kind of tiptoed into this. So coin Lion already existed. I didn't start it. And the group of founders invited me into sit on their board and start to guide them. And so I started a tiptoe into the crypto space and started to realize how impressive the underlying blockchain technology is. And so then when you understand how the blockchain works and how you can move funds from point a to point B ridiculously fast, it was awesome. And then I looked at how cumbersome a lot of the UIs were. Like if you wanted to just go buy some crypto, and he was ridiculously hard. And so honestly, that's what started to plant that seed in my head of it feels like there's some opportunity here. And to build something that's super simple. And so I spent probably 6 to 9 months really working with a team trying to hone in what their vision was in the original vision was, hey, we want to be an exchange, like any other exchange, except we were years behind some of these other exchanges. So what I did is I kind of helped narrow in this vision to like, hey, let's find a niche within this space. Don't feel like we have to own all of crypto. And these are a few of the lessons learned for myself when I was in the healthcare tech space. I built a unicorn, and it was based on one really small niche within healthcare. We didn't have to own all of healthcare. We owned just the urgent care space, and we did it really well. And so we spent a bunch of time talking about, okay, well, what niche can we get into and ended up landing on this idea of auto trading? How do you use bots? To do auto training, which again, bots aren't necessarily not new. We didn't invent that idea. But there aren't a lot of exchanges that have the auto trading built into it where you don't have to have multiple accounts.

America First with Sebastian Gorka Podcast
Sebastian Welcomes Cybersecurity Expert Mike Benz
"Talk to one man who in my opinion he's done the lion's share of the work, releasing for us the information on just how dangerous our republic's grip on the truth is, thanks to certain bad actors inside U.S. government, we are delighted to having back with us here on America first. Mike Ben's greetings. Greetings to you as well as Sebastian. Thank you so much for having me. All right, first things first, we're gonna go deep dive, we're gonna do a full hour on the latest revelations. We're gonna talk about what happens inside DHS across the government to try and control narratives. But first things first, everybody write this down. Foundation for freedom online dot com. That's foundation for freedom online dot com of which you are the executive director and right now follow this man on Twitter. Mike Ben's cyber. That's Mike Ben's BEN Z cyber. Before we talk about the things that you broke yesterday on Tuesday, let's talk about just a moment if for those who missed our last discussion. So what was your position inside the U.S. government, Mike? Sure. So I was the cyber das, which is deputy deputy assistant secretary for international communications and information technology, which is a long way of saying I ran the big tech portfolio. At the end of 2020, during a period of intense consolidation of big tech and big government, we're really the main adversarial party was the free speech rights of U.S. citizens. And so I saw from inside how big government and big tech were really wrapped into one sort of interest group, one sort of lobby group for their own sort of proprietary pecuniary interest where there was really no lobby for the American people, especially to be able to speak freely online.

Edey's 30 helps No. 5 Purdue hold off Penn State in tourney
"Zachary, who was named the tournament's most outstanding player scored 30 points as Purdue won the Big Ten title 67 65 over Penn State. I'm just kind of out there trying to make plays for my teammates the same way I always have all season depends on how team of gardening obviously they lasted teams wanted to try to leave me one on one. And then my job is real simple when people do that. Give the nitty lions credit, they trail by 17 with 6 minutes to go, but battle back to within one and had a chance with a last second try, but it wasn't to be. Purdue will be the number one seed in the east in the upcoming NCAA tournament. David Schuster, Chicago

'How to Make Sure God Hears Your Prayers' With Ray Comfort
"Comfort, you have a book out called how to make sure God hears your prayers, brand new book, and another book that I have in my hand here called so many lions, so few Daniels living without compromise in a world in need of truth. This underscores what I hope I talk about wherever I go. I have a new book out called letter to the American church. And I think that many people who think of themselves as Christians don't understand that courage and fearlessness are not extra credit Christianity. It's basic. If you believe what you claim to believe, you're going to live differently, there's going to be a faith and a boldness and a joy that won't be there unless you know that these things are true. And so I find myself talking about this wherever I go now because that's been my more recent diagnosis of a very sick church of people that are kind of playing at church rather than being the church. And it seems to me that that's what you have been saying and preaching for many years and it's what you say in so many lions so few Daniels. You know, that book was inspired by atheists. I remember seeing a T-shirt that said so many Christians so few lions. And I thought, boy, that's a sensitive as saying, so many blacks. So if you lynching rope, so many Jews, so a few Nazi ovens. And so that book was written out of a righteous indignation. I was mad. And I want to see Christians rise up and be like Daniel. You saw an atheist wearing a shirt, so many Christians, so few lions. Very, very nasty, very, very nasty. And I have to editorialize and say that part of my fascination with those who call themselves atheists is they're not neutral. They claim to be neutral and rational. They are often viciously nasty, nihilistic, and it's hard not to see them as being diabolical to being at war with God and those who talk about God. So you're saying you see a T-shirt that says so many Christians Sophie lions, you're offended to the point that you write a book called so many lions so few Daniels. Yeah, and there's a reason atheists are mad at us. We are a threat. And so they're going to fight to us. Fight tooth and nail and the threat isn't really a political thing. The threat as a personal thing. They hate God as Anna's moral accountability. That's what's behind what atheism is. Remember, the prodigal son went to a far country. And Jesus tells us he went there to spend his money on prostitutes. That's why went away. And it was a far country because he didn't want to do what he wanted to do under the nose of his father. He knew his father would frown on him going to prostitutes. Atheism is a far country for the atheist. He wants to get away from God as far as he can.

He said he doesn't lady. That's the only thing about football. That's 5 years ago. He's been up in the front office. You learn a thing or two over the course of 5 years of doing something every day. At the highest level. That's fine. But rod wood is the top dog of this organization. He is in charge, okay? You have a GM in Brad Holmes, who reports to rod wood. You have a head coach in Dan Campbell. Who interestingly reports to rod wood, instead of the GM. So they both report to rod wood. And then he had to have Mike Disney, you know, your football ops caps, et cetera, that kind of stuff. He reports to rod wood. All right? This is something people are like, well, it doesn't know football house is going to work. This is something much, much more like a an organizational corporate organization. If you think about it, you've got your research and development, you have manufacturing, you have sales, you have your G and a, which is your HR and IS, and IT, and all that stuff right in the middle in the middle. They're kind of in those towers. Okay? So what happens? Well, R&D, that's probably your Brad Holmes role. Right? Manufacturing? That's probably your Dan Campbell row. That G and a, really. That's Mike Disney role. Those three guys all report to the CEO. The CEO is not necessarily an expert in all of those areas. And Eddie organization. Those top leaders run those businesses themselves and have to work together. And R&D has to be able to come up with a product so that manufacturing can create it can make it. And so that sales can sell it. They all have to work together. They all have to create their piece of the product cycle so that the company is successful. They have to work together. They have to apply resources, assets, everything else in order for that whole organization to succeed. And often, a good CEO will have creative conflict amongst those people and drive them to say, why is this happening? So let's put an example out here, okay? Play your axes on the board case is on the board. What's he going to do for the Detroit Lions? What Holmes he's going to step up and say, look, here's the talent that case has. He's a little slow, mentally. Not a high football IQ. Low lung capacity. Not really good at the bench. But God darn.

And just one last thought on the topic, Joe also mentioned he thinks that Kelly doesn't want to be in Michigan anymore. And what is the actual evidence that anybody has to prove that to be true? Because I haven't seen it. I've seen her be frustrated with the team. I've seen her be frustrated with the NFL, but I don't think that means that she wants out. I'm not saying maybe she does. And I don't know. I feel like people are reading too heavily between the lines there and coming up with their own narrative. Kelly. I'm going to tell you something, having traveled to Michigan and back down now to Florida where we currently call home. There's one thing that is significantly different. And knowing that how much they travel. And how often they see different places. I'm going to hold up a picture I took this Saturday, okay? And I'll see if it will work on the camera and get full. Stand on. That's breakfast. In Florida. There's no distancing. The staff are wearing masks. You wear masks going up to the tables or whatever, but it felt like 2019 having breakfast there. And I'm going to tell you, we don't go out. We stay in our places. But it's been like that since July. And this place should be on fire with the sick. That's going on. I feel like she probably has a sense of isolation, and at that age, I can totally get where you don't want that sense of isolation, especially somebody who's used to being out being noticed, being around town, parties, all that kind of stuff, right? There's a lifestyle that's associated. And that doesn't happen there. I can get the sense that they want to go somewhere where maybe they have more freedom to do that. I'm not here to debate what's right wrong or whatever else about that whole, the whole virus thing that's not what we're here to do. I'm just showing you a clear difference between living there and living here and how you get to live. Again, we don't go out much, but we went out for breakfast, and that's what it looked like, and it was like, wow. Why aren't we all dead? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I just think the pontification about fans trying to say, figure out what Kelly is thinking about Michigan itself or about Detroit or about the Lions. When we just don't know, and I'm not trying to poo poo the idea of conversation about it because obviously if we didn't have if we didn't just spout off our own theories about things, there wouldn't be a show. There wouldn't be anything to talk about as fans or anything like that. So I'm not trying to I never quite understood why so many people are so convinced that she wants to drag him out of Michigan. I just haven't seen the evidence of that. Give me a name lines for life in the chat. Give me a name. I just want to trade Stafford. We need to get a dual threat quarterback. Tell me who we get this year. Yeah, okay. Let's see. I want to really quick hit on James urban, he interviewed today for the offensive coordinator position. Quarterback coach for the ravens, I know he's a favorite of Chris Robbins because Lamar. I'm teasing Chris to let me beat you up. And then he was a quarterback coach, the eagles from 2029 to 2009 to 2010, wider receiver coach at the bungles from the 2011 to 2017. Comes with good pedigree. Again, though, now let's just say we hire Aaron Glen, which isn't finalized yet, but it sounds like it's a deal. James urban comes in and you think about that whole experience thing again and you're like, huh. Has anyone here written a playbook before? Is Stafford going to be out in the huddle drawn plays on his palm? Well, what are they going to run them? How is that going to work? That's the one thing that causes a little consternation for a lot of people. Yeah. I agree. Okay. Okay. All right, James urban in. I was waiting for a question. I've heard folks say that it was a satisfyer for the Rooney rule. That may be. But I don't think that this process is just a gross snuggly way to look at the world in my opinion, but I think in some cases it's honest. I think it's an honest to God truth, and it is what it is, it's just the world we live in today. What I don't think is that that's what happened with the Lions with that interview this year. I think the lines have a process that they're running that's been very, very competent looking. And again, I said this in the vlog, you can't come out on the press conference. The worst thing they had in the press conference with Brad Holmes was his lip smacking, right? He was a little bit nervous, right? You got a little going on a lot while I was talking. But other than that, he was gold. He had it all, right? And the thing I talked about for those that watch them all is the crazy eyes from Adam Gase when he got his first interview. He was trying to blink torture torture. We made a small mistake. Urban isn't black. I thought we were talking about Holmes, but check this. I'm looking at a picture of him right now. 'cause I saw someone mention that. And I just made the assumption. So even more so, we didn't hire him for the role. I've heard I've heard the train of thought about Holmes and it just being a diversity hire. And I think that's a gross, like I say. That's just a gross way to look at the world. So my bad, I took somebody else's statement that I read about that being a Rooney rule thing. And I just assumed that I hadn't seen this picture. I didn't remember him. I probably seen him as a we can admit when we're wrong. There you go. Good times. Good times. All right, so there you go. He didn't satisfy that, so we have more interviews to go. "Tangibles and intangibles, but man, is it difficult to get right? It is so difficult to get right, reliably. So we'll see, I like the idea that Dan knows him. Let's see what Joe B has here. Do you think that code Dan, the barbarian can bully Stafford into staying? I don't think he has to. I really don't think he has to. I don't think a lot of fans have been saying for years and years and years that they saw that they thought they saw the writing on the wall that staff were going to leave the lines. And yet he hasn't. They've been wrong every single time that doesn't mean they can't be right eventually. But I just don't think I think Stafford likes playing with the lines. I don't think he likes losing with the Lions. But I think he likes being where he is. I think Matthew Stafford knows the value of winning in Detroit and what it could bring. That is really the epitome of a career in the NFL right now to win in Detroit. There's no team. The browns this year were great and the story was awesome and they didn't quite make it to where it to the end point, but sorry. So we're not. It was a great story. To be the one that turned around a team like Detroit, your name will be forever etched in the history books, like turning the cubs around, right? It's that kind of a thing. Matthew Stafford believes it has believed that it was possible. What you need for Matthew Stafford right now, your two choices are he retires. Or he buys in and believes. Okay, I don't think he's going to trade away. I really, really don't think that he's going to get traded away. It is an option. You're going to hear a lot about Denver and Detroit and Denver chasing Matthew Stafford this year. I just don't think it's one of the dumbest things you could do as a new GM is trade away a franchise quarterback for an unknown. Because for the quarterback is the tell me one team that wins without a quarterback in the NFL. Not one. There is not one. And if you don't have a top ten quarterback, you ain't flying. Where are you going to find a top ten quarterback to replace Matthew Stafford? You can't do it this year. You can't. I just don't see him letting him go. So that's what leads me with the two choices of Matthew either retires early and then we have that narrative to deal with or he's convinced that this is a thing and he wants to play and he figures out how to be here. We'll see. And Matthew Stafford's not a half answer. He's not just going to show up and not do it. He's either going to do it or he's not. And that's what you're going to get out of here. "School and whatever else, but definitely want to watch. One of the things to think about and I was a 100% with you case before we hired homes. First round wide receiver and then just bury four picks into the defense, right? Just go blank deep into the defense. And the idea of homes being kind of a Wheeler and dealer, maybe finding somebody else who wants that 7th pick. Yeah. And getting ourselves some later picks. I would not be opposed to that at all. That's where you start to say, hey, maybe we're going to find an eco Collins there. I'm not super excited about how I see the draft falling right now. And again, it's early guys, so let's not get too caught up in it. But that's yearly for us. That is yearly for the Lions. Did we just always end up at the worst cusp where we can't quite get the blue chip player we want. So we have to settle for something else because we aren't able to trade back. But if you think about it, let's just devonta Smith is small, but he's a name that everyone loves to study Smith. Think about picking a Ballon Robinson and devonta Smith in this draft. What that does. All of a sudden Matthew Stafford, who won you all those games with half a gallaudet and the corpse of Marvin Jones. He almost had a thousand yards. I know. Our tight end almost had as many yards. No, I love it. He's really good. I love Marvin Jones. But you put Alan Robinson out there. Like a Devante Smith. Holy cow. All of a sudden, you've just lit the world on fire with his offense. Deandre swift, the whole thing. Real potential with just a couple of moves and then you can really hit the defense. This is what I said in my vlog last week that we may not be as far away as so many people think we are with this team and that's why the retool will be versus rebuild over hearing from mister Holmes is such a possible starter here. Let me hit loretto really quick if you don't mind case. Okay. Let me know. Thank you again for the super chat. Saints think they're a quarterback away now and have picks and talent they can give away. The only way you get great capital for Stafford is if a team only needs a veteran quarterback to win a Super Bowl. And that's where and again, thanks loretto. That's where like a colts Indianapolis coats, I think they are probably a couple other teams think they are. The saints are in real big problem. They're like 35 million over in the cap, right? They've got a whole implosion. They don't think they could afford Stafford. They also, I do think they'll what's his name, their backup quarterback, who does everything. I will not be surprised if they run offense primarily through him next year. What's his name? What's the dude's name? He does everything for him. Take snaps at QB. Taysom Hill? Yeah, that's the one. Thank you. I got you broke. I got you. All right. So there you go. Okay, again, and I don't want to, I'm just really stoked about what we got coming up here about this organizational and rod wood and all this. I think people are all wrong. I think you guys are some of the smartest listeners on the Internet. I know that. But there's so many people on Twitter that are just so wrong, so wrong. All right. Let's talk about really quick Aaron Glenn for former cornerback in the NFL. And his career with the saints after two games he had ankle injury that ended the season for him and he wound up on IR. Coached around wound up being the secondary coach for the saints since 2016 he's there now with danimal. Dan is really high in this guy. I mean, he came in ready to go. What's the downside? Well, if you think about it, you got yourself some homes. You got yourself some Dan Campbell, and you got yourself some Aaron Glenn. There's not a whole lot of experience there. So you start to start thinking about what does this mean, what could this be? Where are you and Aaron Glenn? Case, how do you feel? Well, I mean, he was a head coaching candidate for New York this year. They went with sailor, but I mean, he, if you get somebody who's on people's list as a potential head coach, come in as a coordinator, that at least looks good. I don't know enough about his schemes, his stuff, you know, again, the whole theme around this off season around this coaching staff and front office so far is new. And mystery and not really knowing what to predict, to be honest. So it's really difficult to guess for sure. But he certainly has a solid track record with what the saints secondary has been doing under him the last four years. So there is no reason not to like that idea. He's certainly one of the guys with hype around him and would I rather have a guy with hype around him than a guy that nobody likes. Yeah, sure. And we did hire two guys that had all kinds of hype around him in bob Quinn and map Patricia. And hype isn't necessarily it. Remember how disappointed everyone was when we had a settle for a hot Caldwell because we couldn't get the whiz whiz and hunt? Yeah. We'll outlasted him. So the hype is not necessarily the way you want to. The reality is, is evaluating these guys is probably about as difficult as evaluating a quarterback in the NFL. There's all kinds of things there that you look at, all kinds of tangibles and intangibles, but man, is it difficult to get right? It is so difficult to get right, reliably. So we'll see, I like the idea that Dan knows him. Let's see what Joe B has here. Do you think that code Dan, the barbarian can bully Stafford into staying? I don't think he has to. He's not just going to show up and not do it..

"Moore's yells more plus. But i mean why why i mean you got you got every game right. So what the fuck do i know but why when you got that game would you take that the detroit. Yeah maybe maybe this dudes right i would. I would go ask my richest friend for all the money they possibly had throat on green bay money line. Give them a percentage. I'd go find one hundred thousand dollars somehow. Put it on green bay money line. Make forty guaranteed forty. That's the only and other than that. I don't know what the fuck you do. I would cash out. Because i don't think the lines are win. Go fucking find. Two hundred thousand and make eighty k. I don't yeah go and find money somehow get out there and you find that fucking dog. And here's the problem. Don't know you just you find as much money as you possibly can. And you fucking put it on the packers see this. This is the thing here. So you put two hundred on the packers and the lions loose or the line win. You still win five hundred k. But if you had taken the packers then you all you have to do his head with lines plus twelve and that was my situation hedging it plus five hundred very easy but that's my that's my my recommendation recommedations. Goget is much fucking money as you possibly can find put on the back of his mind. Because i'm not sitting there and watching seven hundred thirty thousand dollars go down the drain and now you got on the lions you gotta do you gotta go fuck it ahead somehow cash out or if there's a cash cash oh you have to cash bat with the line like there's a good chance they give you that grave of cash because they don't think lines are gonna win crackling cash. Oh option would be if he had the packers right not the line correct. There's gonna be some cash out though there will be something. Yeah just fucking go get along do as much as possible line of credit and is sell your car cellular house everything by back. Yeah you'll get it back in the day. That's gamble fucking good. That is good Let's see here. Alex from iowa what you got a boy hammered and hammered. Every week i was the under.

That's all i'm saying. Green bay. packers running back edgy. dylan okay. Well here's what i'm going to say. You know what i'm gonna. I'm going to allow it and i'm going to tell you i'm gonna tell you why for two reasons number one is because if we don't give you dj dylan that means you would have to a find a friend and then be invite that person to play in a fantasy league with you so it's a two step process. Yeah you that. I don't have a high of success. I can barely turn your microphone before the show starts. You know what. I mean actually correct true story and secondly i like the fact. You're sitting there in a detroit lions sweatshirt. yeah one pride baby. That's right and that one is. Let me suck up to a green bay packer Run all over. Like i'm just saying like you know what like that's fine if you want your one person and fantasy to be a green bay packer who by the way. The quad father is going to run all over your detroit. Lions you gotta sit there with like not one pry but like half a half a quarterback pride no. Don't you think the half pry taken away from aj dylan curb stomp and aligns run. Defense is offset by the half. Property gets because he brought. Aj dylan into the world of fantasy football. So you still neutrally. Sure talking about aj dylan on. Twitter reached out to us tagged all of us and a tweet and said i'm thinking about trying fantasy football this year we reached out and so he's going to be on the show. We got to figure that out. But he's gonna be on the show when we're going to get him to leak and i tell you who my one person is and then we can move on. Okay i'll tell you after okay and I've been asking him for years literally. Ever since i got to the company i've been asking for years but i was just on this show the other day and stephen a smith is joining fantasy football on On stephen as world..

Easier is to synthesize the lessons from ken. Lions to give participants actionable learnings to build more value for their brands organizations. When they get back home in short to be better leaders each year we host about fifty senior marketing leaders representing a wide range of industries in countries for a two day peer to peer learning experience with some of today's best marketing minds in this discussion. Susanna and i talked with some of the senior marketers who were part of this year's cmo accelerator program and we get their hot takes and big learnings from the session. I think jamie says see my time. I think it's used right run through the accelerator. Yeah hey gang this next little phase. We're gonna talk about. I wanna give you i left. Five years later and i left the company after that and ken lions reached out to me after i left the g. Steve was part of this team. And said you know we do a lot of a lot of things that can recreate a people. But we don't do a lot for clients and clients are now about a third of our audience. I don't know they may be even a half of the audience now. So could you help us figure out what to do for clients to enhance the experience because it's overwhelming those who have been there and sometimes it's hard to make sense of everything and bring it back and apply if your business so so we began a young marketers academy and it was a huge hit and it was people under thirty nominated by their companies to conquer through the week together with myself and so my team so that was wildly popular so after a few years into that we said let's do something for cmo's so for the eighth year with pulling cmo's together to kind of make sense of and it's a leadership kind of intervention. We bring a lot of ken into a small room and kind of unpack it ourselves and and so this year we did virtually and i just want to share a little bit of what we learned this year. There are some people in the group here who were in that event. We're going to comment on it. So steve if you can go to the next slide. These are always our hopes in objectives. I am I am turned on by people becoming better leaders. And that's what this is all about and we we we organize the accelerator to be better leaders of the creative process to be better creative people ourselves and to ensure that we're facing the future. Cds are always our objectives every year. And the next slide. I think shows some of the brands that were represented this year. Some of them are in the house. Tonight and proud of that slide. People they go back to be better leaders and do better work for their customers and their employees. The world's better place and now we wanna share a really quick video of what happened this year. We went nine hours over three days. Totally virtual pedro was a speaker. He's in the house tonight as well at abyan bev. This little video gives you a sense of the spirit in the room and what happened and kind of the magic. So i think it's better than my words suggest. Share this ninety seconds or so. What happened in the cave wade jim. I love the jacket jockey. Welcome to the cmo. Celebrator wanna welcome. Ricardo welcome sean and kathleen to the cmo accelerator credible marketing. "Of the lord. I did just that. It was not the lions who devoured my late wife. It was jesus saying it's time for her to come home. You see when we put our trust totally and completely. Jesus we stand by faith and we don't waiver but what we stand in faith four and what we do not waver about is that we stand by faith at the will of god will be done in our situation and that we will receive from the hand of jesus exactly what he wants to give us with no complaints with shouts of praise and joy because we belong to the lord so this is not some make believe deal where we're always going to be rescued from the lions. No the lines may eat us and if they do and we serve jesus continually. We have the assurance that nothing can touch us. Nothing can harm us. Except as it is allowed by the hand of jesus for our good and the good of his kingdom and so the lord is job said the lord gives and the lord takes blessed. Be the name of the lord. It's not fake. It's very personal.

"What is your reputation of a reputation of being a wigner a complainer. A grumbler or is there a peace in your heart. Is there a joy in your spirit. What is your reputation. Daniels rapid was that he was continually serving his god and there was no corruption in him. There was no evil in him he was always there to be with integrity a helper a servant. The king is very concerned and he cries out. Daniel servant of the living god like that. That's his reputation he's a servant of the living. God is that your reputation or do you have a reputation that you are penny pincher that you cheap that you'll never help unless you get something out of it. What is your reputation understand. How vital that is before the lord. Jesus he knows our ways. He knows who we are. Daniel replies from the depth of that lion's den o king live forever. May god my god sent his angel and he shut the mouths of the lions. They've not hurt me. Because i was found innocent in his sight. Nor have i done anything wrong before you. oh king. The king was overjoyed. He gave orders to lift daniel out of that. Dan and when daniel was lifted up from the din no wound was found on him because he had trusted in his god. I wanna see you please. Are you willing to trust in your god. If you don't have a reputation of being an honest kind person if you don't have a reputation of caring and helping and the lions might you know. I'm sure in the middle of the night. He was there all night. And i'm sure he didn't sleep. I wonder if the lions came up and sniffs him. I wonder if they came up and lift him. I wonder if you ordered the lions. I don't know what happened that night in that lion's den did they come and growl and roar all night at him after all he was dinner and the lord would not let them eat him. The lord rules over the sea of galilee. The lord rules reliance the lord rules over whoever it is. That's coming to devour you. The question is which your reputation. A reputation of being a servant of the most high god daniel was the servant of almighty god. Tell the king is overjoyed. He knows this is a complete miracle. He's never put anyone in the lion's den before that has not been immediately crushed and devoured now the king commands it. The men who had falsely accused daniel be brought in and they are thrown into the lines dent along with their wives and their children and before they reached the floor of the dandelions overpowered them and crushed all of their bones. Dry says king you can do as he pleases. Jesus is king and he can do as he pleases with you. Your life is in the hands of jesus this radio broadcast. It's in the hands of jesus and at the end of july. You know what i'm going to do. I'm going to thank you for giving. But i'm going to know it was jesus who moved in your heart to give that. The gospel of jesus could go forth with power with authority. I know it will not be. It will not be me. It will be the deliverance of the lord. Because i serve him continually now or the lion. Sniffing you are. They going to eat you. Are you going to make it through this medical crisis. Are you going to make it through this financial crisis. Are you going to be safe in. Jesus my late wife was dying of cancer. She said to me ray. I want you to preach the funeral service for me. That was one of the hardest things. I think i've ever done. She said i want you to say to the people the lord gifts and the lord takes blessed be the name.

"Now. Does that mean that things will not get hard. No i'm i'll tell you what i'm doing these last couple of days. I've been crying out to god about the cost of radio. Why well because this month of july is proving exceptionally difficult. Usually by this time in the month about half of the radio money has already been donated to cover the cost about two thousand dollars so far this month. Five hundred and one dollars have been donated either on the web page or by check in the mail. So i look at this. And i say lord you told me to go on the radio you've not told me to withdraw therefore i'm going to stand by faith that you will move in the hearts of your people and they will give so now. What should i do. Well i'll tell you what i've been doing. I've been standing by faith. And i've been rejoicing and i'd been saying jesus i have a red sea in front of me. I can't make that red sea open. But i have faith in your name and your precious blood and so i'm going to stand and rejoice and thank you that all of the resources have come. I'm going to come and thank you. That radio for the month of july is paid. Four was paid for no not by a long shot. But you see. I don't go by circumstances i go by what the word of the lord is to me. How do you face the lion's den by having had many prior experiences where you have faced the impossible where you have faced total loss total breakdown and the lord has rescued you and so finally when you come to the lion's den you say lord you've not told me to pull back you've not told me to change so i stand by faith and i will go straight ahead and i'm going to trust you. I don't know how to live any other way now. For the lord is a mighty god and in his hands he holds our lives. He holds our ways he knows who we are and he loves us and so we wait upon him. Now these functionaries the swamp creatures they come to the king at sundown and they say remember king that according to the law the means and the persians no decree or edict that the king issues can be changed so the king gave the order and they brought daniel and they threw him into the lions debt. The king said to daniel may your god whom you serve continually rescue you. Some of you are facing dire financial needs some of your facing dire marital concerns some of your facing disease sickness. Some of you are working in a place that you hate you facing lions dense. The kings word is absolutely right and it speaks to my heart and know must speak to your heart today. May your god whom you serve continually rescue you now you notice. The king is relatively new. I don't know how much time has passed. But he's a new king a new kingdom the means and the persians but already he knows that daniel constantly continually serve his god and based on what he has heard about daniel from the past and based on what he seen of daniel's integrity and the way he walks before god he says may your god whom you serve continually rescue you some of you wanna be rescued but you've not continually serve god you've served yourself and now you're in trouble and you're asking god. Would he come and rescue you. Well no he won't except for some wonderful act of mercy and love on the part of the lord and he does that sometimes because it is his kindness to us. That calls us to repent. I know a man who rebelled against the lord did not take his job seriously was lazy and was promptly fired and i said to him. It may be some time before you find another job. I'll pray with you about it. But i don't know if the lord will rescue you quickly because you have walked in arrogance before him and you've been lazy and you've not honored his name at work. You brought shame on the name. You said you were christian. But you didn't act like a christian. Well within matter of days. He had another job offer. I was so pleased and so happy for him and.

"And they said to the king. Look you need to issue an edict. You need to enforce the decree that if anyone praised to any god or man during the next thirty days except to you. Okay you shall be thrown into the lion's den now king issued the decree and put it in writing so that cannot be alternative cannot be changed. This was one of the checks in the check and balance system of the kingdom of the mito persians. It was not so in nebuchadnezzar time over babylon. He was the absolute monarch. He chose when a man would live or when he would die but in the middle persian empire. There was a check on the king's authority. He could make a law but he could not cancel the law so derives immediately sees the possibility of establishing a test and a way of bringing together all of his top administrative people to be certain that they were absolutely loyal to him. I'm sure for him. It was a loyalty test much more than imagining that he was god. Although in that culture kings sometimes established themselves as gods. unfortunately. I think they still do so. The king agreed and he published the decree that during the next thirty days. Anyone who prayed to any god or man except to the king would be thrown into the lion's den now when daniel learn that this decree had been published. He went home. He went to his apartment and he went into his his bedroom and he was accustomed to opening the windows that face towards jerusalem and there three times a day offering supplication to the mighty. God of heaven giving him thanks and praise and honor but also asking god for wisdom and understanding and for direction in the administration of the kingdom. I of nebot nezar and now of deriez. This was what he was accustomed to doing. And and the decrees made and he does not change. He does not bend. He knows that the penalty will be death. The lion's den is there on his knees bowing before the almighty justice he had done before. These men come as a group and they find daniel in the act of praying asking god for help they go to the king and they say. Did you not publish a decree that during the next thirty days anyone who praised any god or man except to you. Oh king would be thrown into the lion's den. The king answered the decrease stance in accordance with the law the meads and persians which cannot be repealed then they said to him king daniel who is one of the exiles from judah pays no attention to you. He's from judah he pays no attention to you. Oh king or to the decree you put in writing. He still praised three times a day. Now when the king heard this he was greatly distressed. I'm certain he called his attorneys his royal advisors to see if there was any way around this decree that he had made. He was determined to rescue daniel if at all possible and he worked until sundown to save daniel. One stop for a moment. I made an opening statement. Every christian is going to face the lion's den. How do you face well one of the things we have to do before we face the lions is decide ahead of time how we stand in the heat of the moment you might not make the right decision. It has to be settled in your mind. Will you at all cost serve and believe and trust in jesus christ know. I've faced many trials. And the lord god of heaven has carried me through every one and delivered me but many years ago when i was just a boy i made a decision and that decision was that i was going to serve the almighty god of heaven i was going to be a pastor and i would not turn to the left or to the right and i would not. I would not try to build my own financial kingdom. I made those decisions. I recently had a man approached me with a wonderful business proposition. I turned him down. Why because i've made a commitment to the lord that i will only receive from his hand. Would he chooses to give me..
