Lionel Messi's Paris Saint-Germain Deal Includes Cryptocurrency Payment
"Apologies to the sporting savvy out there bear with us. But for those who don't follow football. You should know its biggest star argentinian. Lionel messi just left the club. He's been with for most of his career barcelona to sign a two year contract with paris. Saint germain often referred to as ps g. And that's how we'll continue to refer to them here why you may ask. Are we telling you this. No it's not an attempt after our previous victory and interesting nate and sport during his last appearance to make him love the beautiful game it has to do with. Nfc's you see big. Sports stars get paid big money and just the welcome package that gave messy was worth twenty five to thirty million euros. I would like a welcome back like that. It included some. Ps g crypto currency. Fan tokens from socio dot com. These tokens let fans hold them. Vote on some minor decisions regarding the club. Like what song is played in the stadium during warm ups or the message. That will be on the captain's armband for example. So ceo's dot com says. The sale of the tokens has generated close to two hundred million dollars for its partner clubs this year. They've got a good half dozen or so Partner clubs and of course fans who buy them and then try to sell them for more than they paid them for them. And there's a brisk business in that trading volumes before messy signed with. Pse reached one point two billion dollars so giving messy a bunch of them gives him a volatile asset that he could potentially sell for millions. And these things are benefiting. Ps as well the ps fan token generated thirty million euros in sales this past week and it's estimated. Ps g keeps about half of that. If not more

"Fan account indeed three for little san marino and to borrow and maybe mangled the common sporting phrase san marino punching above its weight class. It's now the smallest country by population to ever win. An olympic medal narrowly edging out. Bermuda and liechtenstein. Severino has about thirty three thousand six hundred people which is roughly the lives of juneau alaska. Right as our good friend josh. Row movingly on this exact day. Ten years ago of san marino and the micro universe of little countries san marino is a curiosity among the curiosities. Indeed so look i mean. We know the olympics largely dominated by huge wealthy. International superpowers like the united states and china. They have the most people in the most resources in the medal. Standings tend to reflect that every four years. Most of the drama we see on. Tv is manufactured draw on our sympathy for our own athletes who have to overcome challenges like an injury or a previous olympic failure. But athletes like zingo really gervais and they're tiny little countries getting their moment understand and in the headlines is probably one of the few redeeming qualities of this billion dollar boondoggle let alone a billion dollar boondoggle. In the middle of a global pandemic the olympics can never truly be worth the expense and waste and political corruption. But if we're going to be beholden to this international spectacle every four or five years might as well pass some of that hardware around here here just love to see san marino. Get its moment in the spotlight. Can't believe that was ten years ago. The big man little country is serious. August ninth two thousand eleven you you writing from san marina. You remember that they surely do. It was an amazing trip and that trip ended with the small states of europe games which was like a mini olympics in liechtenstein for these countries to allow them to actually win something but even in that even in those games and so the countries that competed their iceland was the united states of the small states of europe games. They were cleaning. There's iceland luxembourg liechtenstein san marino monaco malta. Cyprus they're probably a few others that i'm printing san marino didn't win jack's go. I mean they might have won a little bit but they certainly were like way way way down at the bottom of the metal table and so to see them actually win three medals. Like you might. You might think that it's amazing that a country like thirty thousand people won three medals. I'm here to tell you that it's like way way more than you even thought that it was but is it also possible that the medal winners were just sort of you know. They got their san marino passport and they had been trained elsewhere. And ooh what are you trying to say. I'm not trying to diminish san marino's accomplishments at all. I'm just trying to lane suggested. Chicanery is a foot back. I have no. I'm asking you as a san marino expert josh. If you've looked into the providence of these athletes look naturalization. I mean are we. Should we take away the american basketball gold medal because akeem lage one was set naturalized. Why did you go after them. I'm just. I'm saying that step is attacking akeem by proxy basically. I mean if we're gonna if we're going to say the country's scandalous that athletes are competing in the scandal or weren't born in then we're just gonna have to cancel the whole olympics my friend. I know that. I'm just. I want to know more about these athletes and where they came from. Nobody nobody stopping. I mean we can do that. Retroactively awarded gold to the united states. Men's one hundred because as we know lamont Whatever jacobs i mean. He's sort of a texan but definitely was born in america..

"Thing about soccer is infinitely shrink about the economy. You can have a soccer club which has zero revenues. You just don't play. The play is anything and you won't be very good and you can have a billion euros revenues but it still the same club and same stadium with the same shots in the same emotional attachment. So i agreed. Soccer club shouldn't have to be in this race to constantly keep revenues rising because we know twenty years ago. When the revenues were relative peanuts they will popular on just fine to write some out i want to. I want a big down a little on that. Because you mentioned barcelona's hundred and twenty two years old. Don't wanna tie the future of the club to this. One guy that one guy that happens to be messy right but there's a generation of fans who don't know a barcelona without messy so for people that are unfamiliar with the club itself like what does barcelona look like without messy like in the past has been this global fee. Nom that that that it's been grown into the last few decades not really messy and the club's rice greatness coincide and is not only because of messy messy comes at the start of the two thousand. He makes his debut in two thousand full as part of this. What turns out to be incredible spanish generation. Who will come from the club's academy savvy on this and yet sta jarred. Pk and the spaniards in the team win the world cup and twenty seven without messy so these incredible is as well just whole generation comes out of the academy together amd between two thousand sixteen thousand fifteen. They win the champions league full times will. That's fulltime more than barcelona have won the champions league in the history. Full messy arrives so really before messy. This is not a great club. This is just the club of the second city of a mid size not very rich european country so the years greatness i think with hindsight will say what brief and beautiful. Maybe no clubs bite played better salko than a bustle. Owner didn't the messier's and there is no kind of recapturing of that era and remember messy as study full even if you keep him but playing in a very wink team because there's no money to have other good players. You're never going to go back to that gloria's and lost yo without him with him. Last year. they finished side in the spanish league. Is there a chance that i mean. Is there a way for barsha to do what. American sports teams do which is tear. Down and rebuild. Know part of the problem that barcelona's seems to be that there's been bad management on the soccer side as well as on the financial side they should've traded messy for a bunch of first round draft pick. I mean this is a team that turned down offers for lanham baabda and erling holland two of the best players in europe right now when they were teenagers i mean. Is there a way out of this competitively and financially for barsha. I mean if you turn out to have an incredibly lucky and brilliant hand picking young talent both from your own academy and what they did lawsuit with Votes him for a basic five million euros which is nothing age seventeen kit from the canary islands. Just play the olympic final. Would spain has been a revelation. You know if you can do that five times over which is very difficult than suddenly you have kind of the equivalent of five us. Round draft picks. That is very hard to do. And then the last ten years has given no signs that they have the now to do that. I think the problem is they. Stop thinking when you're number one you stop thinking and clubs like liverpool and buying munich and manchester city just thought hotter in the last decade. What for you is the moment for messy barsa. Barsa the whether it's a a game or a goal or something else that really stands for the kind of synergy between him and the club at its at its peak. The champions league final at wembley in london ten years ago busload manchester united much English champions you had sold. They might be the best team in europe and they were played off the puck by messy in barcelona the fuss twenty minutes after half-time. I mean i say in the book where the says this is what we were aiming for. This is the kind of football we had in our heads. And i think i am nine hundred thousand people. Even menu fans left the stadium lace at that day we saw a soccer that we will probably never again see an lives of quality and a beauty that even alex ferguson's manchester united manager. He said we've never been beaten like that. Some it's it just seems like you've been preparing for this day for a while right. That people have been sort of gearing up that it was going to regardless it. Just maybe happened. a little. Sooner than people expected does seem fair. I think that's family. When i started the book in twenty nine thousand nine. I will see the cracks in the ceiling. But the cathedral's not about to collapse. And i was still i was gonna write a book about the greatness of the club and i have but also written a book about the decline in full and sunny. The cathedral collapse. That probably happened lost yet and now kind of the angel on the altar has dissipated and this has happened way quicker than we thought but you know human creation is forever and i think uniworld dwelling now on the downside and the mismanagement and the disgrace. But i think we should also remember this. Was this unique thing that they created in this. Relatively small town and people will remember forever. That the suckered i soul and there's no way that's gonna loss Bustling is not new york. Bus loan is not london. This is a one off. Simon cooper is a columnist for the financial times. "Until he develops an immune system of his own. You'll have to remain particular. Are we talking days weeks or months years. Let's imagining the boy. And the plexiglass bubble. Yeah just this idea that you know we're gonna we're gonna attack you know we're gonna do everything we can except doing. The actual thing that one should do truly attack this and make sure that we're out there every game from my guys. And i mean it's funny to me in particular that he's a quarterback because so much of the way that we talk about quarterbacks forever but also but i think increasingly now is about Like it's the physical side of things is important but it's about understanding the game and really being able to. You know be prepared now. This connection with your teammates being smart and now this just like this is clearly someone who's an idiot and we still have to kind of pretend like he is the like genius leader of the team. Who's like you know guiding everyone On the minnesota vikings. It's more than that. It's like he's a he's indispensable. He's the scenic qua non for the minnesota vikings. That's great that we know that he's he's a no evidence that but it's a good line. Anyway mike zimmer. The head coach of the vikings angry about this. I just don't understand. I think we can put this thing the better if we all do this but it is what it is. The owner of the team isn't happy about this. I don't see why kobe's lee or kirk cousins should be playing in the nfl. Like why are teams keeping them around. Play fucking kelham on and blamed kirk cousins for the team's disastrous season. He would he would call him on vaccinated. I'm not sure. Cousins would probably be elected president if he gets cut because of his beliefs. But we don't have to spend out that disaster scenario i mean. There's just a certain amount of shamelessness that we allow publicly in public figures today. Maybe we didn't even allow two decades ago. I've i've felt like it would have people weren't is willing to sound dumb publicly as they are now and have a chorus of people supporting them along the way. So that's that's sort of the change they even if ninety percent of the league vaccinated Which way out ahead of the rest of us. They're still a very vocal stupid minority out there and they get affirmation and they get deferred to. I mean there's how many pieces have we seen. You should be. You should be nice to people that refuse to get the vaccination at this point And so we. There's a lot of coddling of seeing as many of those recently. I feel like the national mood has changed the interest. The interest of the vaccinated and being nice to the unvaccinated has declined precipitously. That's true that's still go back to this like the vikings basically fired rick dennison and assistant coach. Who wouldn't get vaccinated. The patriots led a coach. Go because he wouldn't get vaccinated or it was related to the cove nineteen vaccine nfl guidelines as espn reported. I just don't understand you know why. Kirk cousins is on the team stephan. Because he's the twenty third best quarterback in the nfl stephan possibly replace him as a culture. Obviously we have a great difficulty saying no but in this case it's to what end like fire these guys don't you think this is the beginning of the end for kirk cousins and minnesota like i think this is like okay like he's on his way out And i don't know how it's going to happen. But if you're coaches against this if you're owner is against this if the league mood is against this. I don't think that he can prevail. But i think what's really interesting. This need to be slow off dry. Assume for union reasons right that you know that it doesn't fall explicitly. Under the category of reasons you can cut a player. I think there's like three primary remains you can cut a player. I don't know that this neatly falls in one of those so this just waiting for him to throw an interception waiting for him to be kirk cousins waiting for all the quarterbacks to be able to participate in practice right right right what once you start playing and then it becomes apparent even more parent. You shouldn't be playing him. But i just think about think about the politics of the league and the people who own and run these franchises. They're much more likely. Side with kirk cousins and like greg abbott. The texas governor as opposed like jay inslee the democratic governor of washington. But yet and still they're fine with these mandates and protocols because they care most about the bottom line and maybe winning right and it puts the team at a distinct disadvantage if the vast majority of the team isn't vaccinated for logistical reasons as well as competitive ones so the nfl players union has realized that is responding accordingly. And it's just weird like that's why kirk cousins stands out right now because dot even your republican as owners in this league thinks that this is getting in the way of making the money and moving forward and you're still standing authority history here and the public mood so i mean you know we. We did sort of pick on kirk cousins for this but it's important to note. Note that he is like a distinct voice in this instance. He's not he doesn't represent the league and doesn't represent where the league wants to go on this but he may represent the minnesota vikings as you know the team with the league's lowest vaccination rate a lot of republicans are pro vaccine and even ones that were antibac- seeing what's happening with with delta like people have changed their minds..

"Leboeuf and julia raw small. Joe's voice thin it finished then. Psg one celona one pse advancing five two on aggregate. This will i saw was fascinating possible and obviously all over. Ps gps she would then take the lead for an invite pay penalty. Extraordinarily brilliant goal from lionel messi would see one one dan belly had a million chances he couldn't convert and then on the stroke halftime really the defining moment in the game leeann are messy having that penalty save and he just felt then boss. Lana run out belief in the second half. We didn't quite see this team. Is that fed to sally. That penalty save changed everything. Of course he did even more. So when you watch it and then you watch it again and you see mode godly encroaching and clearly encroaching and so therefore if you have a system in place that could take a look at this and say you know what this is not allowed. This is against the laws of the game so therefore the penalty should be retaken and the truth of the matter. Is that when you see this happening. You have to question how come. Vr can take a look at this and say no. That's okay it's good play on. I don't quite understand it and to your point did change the dynamic of the game because as good as barcelona were in the first half the second half years they had possession years. They seem like they were about to create something but never really would that sort of confidence that they really thought that they were going to be able to come back in this match. I just don't think that after messy and it's not only the penalties after messy misses a penalty that means for this team going into halftime. Coleman cannot get this thing going for the second half off joel's how you love var because farrah's clear the thing that amazes me right. You've got to review penalties kayla novels off his line. No he's fine. Who was made razzi. Did he encroach yes. Seeing coach retake just forgot the second aides to be fair watching on television. I saw throw variety was encroaching. And i really thought they're gonna take this one again and when they were checking. I don't think that check in just for novice. I think there must be checking for everything. I agree with you. I don't understand. Why didn't they didn't to be taken. I don't understand why they give the pse pronouncing the first place anyway. I would not have given the long lay stamp on cardiac either through there were shambles the tonight in paris it was to the advantage of psg. So i'm not gonna complain. Though the lack of consistency again showing a niece is quite dramatic. Really english officials. Frank plain english while while blamed english. I can blame mr taylor and these systems. But i can blame the the world of referees. Were doing crazy things. And and and talking about consistency. It's an consistent all the way and we can talk and debate everyday about the decision. I mean that's that's insane. I can't even discuss about the penalty in the first penalty for procedure. The first leg. Dissenting up into celona. I wanna know where in which kind of football we are going into giving penalty for crazy stuff. I mean the penalty. Cardi cannot get the ball whatsoever. Okay longley never look at e cardi. So he's not willing to make any foul on e. cardi but we still decide to give a penalty because e cardi because longley stems only cardi. Not doing it on purpose again. So what kind of football is that is not the football. I loved the football where you know something can happen. But because he's not around the area of the dangerous area we don't really care because it's what it is especially if he's not mean if he's not a on purpose. Why do you wanna give a dose of penalties. That's crazy for me. I don't understand well the encroaching stuff. It's even worse because we also that we all named it but how they don't want to see it just a question we'd have to add them and it's not because the english because i'm sure will be french. It would be the same. It would be germany would be same. So it's it's awful. The food we are we are seeing right now. We're watching rhino. He's not the kind of alike on top of what we see from the players.

"He's GonNa Visit Implant today, and in this plant they require everybody to wear masks so as asking. What is the president wearing masks quasi wearing a mask in every briefing start? Why don't you wearing a mask and? have you ever heard? CUOMO takes questions everyday. Nobody nobody's ever said to him a y you wearing a mask and he does the briefings from a different part of the state every day one days in Buffalo, one days in Queens at the MTA headquarters I, think yesterday was at North Long Angel, traveling all over the state, never with a mask on. Nobody ever asked him that they asked the president every. Favorite part of the briefing when he takes questions and fake news into their act, and then the president has to respond. We've announced a plan. We're opening up our country just rude person you are. Yeah, that was her. When are you GonNa? Come up with a plan to. Do all day they're. They got five thousand people putting together a plan older, she actually said. Why don't you have a plan on how to Ryoko? We've announced a plan. We're opening up our country, just a rude person you are. Y-. So, but listen, let's. Remember. If you look at Florida. They have a bigger population than New York City. They've got Miami which has got his bottom many people as a New York City and densely populated, and they've got other major cities like. O or Landau in Tampa they had like a thousand cases are thousand deaths, and we had a phenomenal number They had forty thousand total cases. We have three hundred and forty thousand. They get totally out of control. Not to mention their budget is totally balanced. Ours was ten billion before this even started so cuomo become the hero. Go Round the Santa's isn't the here well? We know the answer to that liberal PL- privilege of course now governor Cuomo made possibly the dumbest mistakes ever threw out every step of this crisis from not shutting down now we're looking back at. It said he didn't shut down fast enough. The Santa's shut down at a much earlier stage I don't mean the date, but it's how many cases you know. Disentis like a thousand cases shut the state down Cuomo. Wait until whatever was twenty thousand cases before shutting down, so we shutdown way too late. Governor. Cuomo made this the dumbest decision ever in history of sending corona virus patients into the nursing homes. Remember, even had a rule. Nobody's allowed no visitors, no family or visitors in the nursing home. They were worried. These people might have the virus, but when it came to the people that definitely had the virus just got tested for the virus. They're sick with the virus. He ordered the nursing homes to take them. Telling them they can't take the family or visitors, but they could take the P- The people with virus and spread it all over the place. Four thousand senior citizens dead as a result. Now, give the governor credit for this. This was a smart decision for him. He then secretly snuck into the recent budget a law that you cannot sue a nursing home now so if you're one of the relatives of somebody that this decision killed. You can't sue the nursing home now. Can you imagine that is one sneaky governor, isn't it? Sneaky he does that do. You gotTa give them credit. That's pretty smart. Anyway. Let's go to Kevin Fairfield Connecticut Hey Kevin how you doing? Mark Mark I'm just calling to say just calling to say thank you. Just, calling to say, thank you for not taking a single day off through this whole thing. For being there for us every single day you and joe both. Honestly it means so much. You've taken this all really seriously. Like your responsibility to us. It's been amazing, and that's why I'm calling true. I think every day at noon. People should lean out their window and blow horns and banged pots. For me in jail. I don't see that ideas not going over, so no, no, no, no! It's still happens every night at seven o'clock I hear a banging a rattling I think it's my my dishwasher's broken or something I say go into what the hell's that noise? And then I realized. "Day when it gets really humid in the summer. Don't worry that's when you're absolutely the safest virus cannot get you on a hot humid day because the way it gets to you if somebody coughs sneezes or even talks reallowed droplets come out of their mouth little microscopic droplets come and hit you but on a very humid day. The air is is moist so it's filled with millions of water droplets so when they shoot the droplets out of their mouth. They'll go to all these water droplets and be totally watered down by the time they get to you. So you're safe on a hot humid day so in the middle of July. Don't complain about the weather. It's saving your life Now there's all these people saying We'll never get back to. I hate this new normal. This raise new normal. We'll never get back to this EVAC. He is not there anymore. You know he can't remember things sometimes. He's talking about the corona virus and he can't remember what it's called. Watch this video. He can't remember the name of the virus. That's a tough one nowadays and then. Oh what's this Seinfeld? Maybe oversaw saw this. This is the corona virus episode of Seinfeld also I we kept. "Make sure you can take it. If you've got any kind of certain conditions, you can't take it, but in all. All the cases they've used it on different great success dramatically brought down the symptoms, and it saved a lot of lives, but they're telling me now. Because of what fake news has been doing, they give it to. People and people are afraid to take it, so there were actually worried. There could be a death or two from people, not taking their hydroxy Clark. Don't listen to fake news. Your doctors know what they're doing when your doctor tells you. Hill check your medical history and your heart and your ekg and your other medicines. If he tells you to take it, it's okay to take it. They usually give it with a z pack or with zinc vitamin. C. But it's working on everybody, but you know what I've decided. The birth this and even doctors have said they think this. it it. It does work, but no one's convinced. One hundred percent of works preventative wise. They're not sure it can absolutely prevent it. In fact, they don't think it can really prevent it. What they think is. If you're about to get it, because Kita Hydroxy Clark. Get it in the earliest stage. You can get it if you can get it on day one. It's going to really help you, so they think if the president's taking if that's true. that he must have had a much bigger exposure than what's being reported. You know there was what was the story that Valet that he that served them lunch. HAS THAT NOW? That makes sense that makes sense. If, somebody else had yeah, because bunch of doctors have told me that if they had them start on drastically that that means the valid interest bringing a classic coke put down and leave. He must have been in the room for twenty minutes here and there. Must have been around a lot and it must have been a couple of other if if they think there was some serious exposure to the. That's why they would start him on it so if he's taken it. You know if he's really taken it. That would be the reason why so We got Have you been around anybody who later got it. That happens sometimes. No, no I haven't been near anyone. Thank God yeah. Yeah, and I've been careful I'm going to go, but what's like I was with somebody or are. They ran into start talking to me too long or they got too close. and you start to worry about it came right up to. He's talking me so now. I call the person like a few days later. Just make sure they're okay. I call them But five days later. How you doing everything good? found. Then I do for fourteen days because fourteen days is the longest incubation then on the fourteenth I call Sunday sound great and he's fine. I JUST WANNA. See how you doing now. The Guy Thinks I love him. Calling him. We want to know how he's doing I. Hope they notice that after fourteen days I never talked to you again. You got to that so. Connecticut is reopening today. You'll be now. Here's the problem. They're GONNA do outdoor dining and Connecticut as great outdoor restaurants, but. you're going to now be dependent on the weather. I was checking the forecast It's Memorial Day weekend looks pretty good. It'll be like in the. Upper sixties you can eat outside in the upper sixties, but look It looks like rains possible one of these nights, but the most crucial thing is getting US reopen getting people back to work especially this area New York. You know we have a million people in the tri-state area, the work in the restaurant industry or depend on it. You gotta get them back to work. Did you watch the president yesterday? Do the roundtable with all the restaurant owners yeah, I was reading. The fake news went after him. They said Oh the president was awful. It was. Was cringe-worthy watching and talk to these guys. And they pointed to the Thomas Keller, segment! Thomas. Keller is one of the three or four chefs in America in the world. per se in new. York French kitchen in California, and he kept interrupting. Thomas Keller was cringe-worthy article, said I went and watched it. I could see why he was interrupting Keller's Great Guy. He's a genius makes the best cooking videos you'll ever see. You could never cook anything in his videos. It's too complicated. You'd have to set aside three years of your life one of these dishes. But Keller was talking about his problems. Now with suppliers. You can't get supplied and trump was asking. What do you mean like butter? You can't get because we'll have to have a certain kind of butter. And he said it's very important to get the butter from certain months of the year where the cows eating the right type of green grass, because of it's a little later in the year there eating. Hey, and it can affect the flavor of his butter. So this is why trump was cutting them off. Realizes their millions of people in the heartland of America, starving to death who can't afford a can of tuna? And this guy is worried about what the cow ate that he got the butter. Butter might be a list. that. That's why trump is president because he actually stays in contact with the real world. He's not a guy who's ever gonNA. Eat Any Thomas Keller anything I've seen president trump's diet. It's a Cheeseburger, a club sandwich, grilled cheese, a milkshake, a steak, and that's about it. There's no. Fee. Chef came out of the way to came back to the table, said Mr. Trump I'm sorry. We don't have any butter with the cows eating green green grass, the cows eating. Hey, would that be okay? It's not something. He's. So now this is, it's hard to believe. This is Memorial Day weekend coming up. I cannot believe it so the beaches. will be open in long, island and so the beaches in New York. City are the only thing close right. The governor's open the beaches. And it's only here in New York. So what would that be? That would be rockaway Queens. Brooklyn Coney. Island all that. Kinda stuff now you can. Mayor has set it up, so you can go to the beach, but you can't go in the water. You can't near the water. You can look at the sand. You can't sit on the sand you can Walk on the beach, but you got to walk very fast. Don't stop. So what is he thinking? You know you cannot get the virus in very bright sunlight I mean. If if somebody came right up and spit in your face, you might get it, but the virus is killed in bright sunlight. It doesn't transmit very well by the way yesterday was very windy, so I talked to. Some people think I'm afraid to go out in the win. They save somebody, coughs or sneezes droplets come out. They could go six feet, and then you read these crazy reports. It can go ten feet fifteen feet if it's really windy. People got worried, so I asked a few experts on this, they said high wind is better. It disperses the virus all over the place. It's less likely to. In high winds, so if you get a bright sunny day with a lot of wind, you're all, said Actually, a very humid.

"The morning morning everyone we are still waiting for Mark Simone to show up. I know he's there. We have a little technical problem there. So we'll just sort of get things going. I'm sure he's going to have more to say about this controversy involving president trump and hydroxy chloroquine now. Obviously mark is a defender of this practice. Lot of controversy about it and I tell you that In terms of the use of this drug to treat corona virus there are a number of stories I know a couple of individuals and actually several that have taken this and it's been very very effective in treating corona virus the issue here for the president and I guess you gotTa give encourages a man of his conviction. He's touted this thing from the very beginning so he's taking it but as a prophylactic and I guess you have. A lot of people are worried about that. Of COURSE NANCY. Pelosi was worried about him right. calling him obese in in the the delicate category. So you gotta wonder but again. It's it's it's his decision now. We have another part of the tri-state area opening today believe it or not even realize that. Connecticut was the last state in the nation to open up. You would've thought New York is but I mean that's the only New York City here. We're under lockdown for God knows how long but Connecticut reopened today They have Allowed retail stores to open a malls can open on. You can go to restaurants. As long as you're dying outside and I will tell you. I'm here in South Carolina and. That's the situation that we've had here for A number of weeks now. And y'all remain under a big lockdown up there in New York but I must say it's fairly normal down here and I think what life can return to a fairly normal routine with certain precautions. Clearly if you are in the endangered category I mean if you're a patient at a nursing home or if you are undergoing chemotherapy or your immune challenged you gotta stay home. You gotta stay home to protect yourself. You don't mingle with people but if you're a relatively healthy person I gotta believe that you can go out. Maintain that social distance going to be a a thing that we're going to have to for quite a while anyway but you can go out you can go to. A restaurant made reservations for dinner. Tomorrow night I'm going to eat outside but What you get you go to the table. There's plenty of space between tables and for the most part. Your servers have masks and gloves on. They sanitize the table. They don't give you re usable menu. You'll get a piece of paper or they'll just put it up on a board and you can read The the menu items and choose from that. And then when you're done. Your table is sanitized. It's rinsed off with a disinfectant Salt Pepper Shakers are replaced too and it sets there for awhile and in most cases you're outside so if it's in the sun it's going to help with that And everything's fine and I will tell you to here in this particular part of South Carolina Hilton head area I keep track of the local statistics and amazingly when this thing opened partially there were I think about two hundred eighty. I can get you the numbers for two hundred eighty Cases of Corona virus in this particular county. And it's pretty much stayed the same one of two hundred ninety nine right now but twelve and twelve deaths. And that's been the case for like a couple of weeks here in the death. Toll is very very minimal. So mark are you there yeah. I'm on my phone. Oh what happened. Well we had as you know this perfect system the greatest software that I would connect with and they decided to put in some different Tom. Oh you know what I know what you're talking about because I have I have the new tuna works perfectly. You got you gotta push the right buttons. Now I've lost the phone. Can you hear me on the air? I Yeah I've got you. I got jogging here where you can hear me on the air. I can hear you Well I assume you're on here. I can hear you in my headphones heads. What now you know we had. We had the system. We had set up the software. You knows for like Four weeks not a glitch never went off once and then they wanted to put in a whole new system and I said well maybe maybe we should just stick with the of this new one so I knew this was going to happen so you can hear me fine. Everybody can hear me. I got you okay. Great so What we're talking about I I was. I was listening to Burning and say what were you guys talking about talking about reopening. I was telling me about how how it's you know. It can be functional. There's no need to be locked down forever. That's true except our ratings are up like forty percents since this lockdown people not only listening listening now for the whole show And Governor Cuomo he wants you locked down so you what briefings are ratings are through the roof. Maybe you should stay lockdown. Okay go ahead. Don't get out of the House now. We need everybody at first of all. Connecticut is open right now right now. What's it what time is ten? Twelve things are open. You can go into stores. You can go into restaurants open in an hour and They at the last minute pulled back on the hair salons. They can't open yet. That's going to be delayed. The Governor says the hair salons needed more time From what I hear hair salon owners telling me. They didn't need any more time. They were ready to go but the state wants a lot of things done they want like plexiglass between the stations. And that kind of stuff. So they'll be opening a week or so and are you talking about hydroxy chloroquine. Yes yes yeah. Lot of doctors have called me They're worried that Democrats in the fake news and the media might actually be killing people. Now you might cause some deaths They're all using hydroxy chloroquine. They've all been using it. can't used on every patient. The doctor has to check you. Make sure you can take it. If you've got any kind of certain conditions you can't take it but In all the cases they've used it on different great success. Dramatically brought down the symptoms and it saved a lot of lives. But they're telling me now because of what fake news has been doing they Give it to people and people are afraid to take it so there were actually worried. I haven't been near anyone. Thank God. Yeah Yeah And I've been careful. I'm going to go but what's like I was with somebody or are they ran into start talking to me too long or they got too close And you start to worry. Know it came right up to.
