"I will say that honestly. In recent months. I have probably a little bit less effort into the podcast than i would normally and so i do feel that since i haven't given my full effort that i might have more success if i was giving my full effort and so yeah i have been kind of looking for like people that are a little bit easier to book. Frankly just because. I kind of needed as much time as i could get for for the book but i don't know if my success has changed at all in terms of change the change my ability to get gas or not. I think what i will say is that the. There's a lot more specialization. And i haven't really specialized and so in that regard. I think that in certain circles if somebody's like in eath than they may not know me so much as you know a podcast that only covers eath or if somebody's like really only bitcoin then they may know Another that only focus on that as opposed to me so in that regard. I'm sure it frankly. It helps me with some guests and it hurts me with other guests. But it's not something. I really think about because i just have to do what i am comfortable with doing and I see my own vision of things and frankly it's working out fine. I am looking forward to you. Know not having to spend so much time on the book and she really kind of get back into the show and kind of into the news happening now. Because i do feel like. I've been a little bit out of the loop compared to previous times all right. Gabriel asks. I'm looking forward to your book. Will you be featured anymore documentaries in the future at the moment no because i there there have been a lot of requests actually but i have not really been doing extremely beyond the book and podcast so as for as as far as things being in the works. Now no roman. Do you think you over the interviews to toshi know and also asked. Do you think he would recognize the toshi if you interviewed him her or them. So if so if we're just kind of like a random show. And i was just interviewing them and i was interviewing them for some other reason and you know not because i thought they were associated. Something i may not. If i i have thought oh when i ever want to try to investigate who was the only thing is that just takes so long and yeah. It's just. I don't know so i i am. I have a feeling. I probably won't try to investigate that. So yeah you know what. I probably would not recognize this person over. 'cause i would need to do a lot of research and come up with a theory. I and i do not have that now. So if i ever end up interviewing to she probably not know it all right song says if he could be anywhere in the world right now where would you wanna be and why so. I can actually give too many details on this but let's just say that there was something that happened in the book and it took place at this very fancy nice place in a very very optimal location and in my fact checker and i were looking at. This and i was like whoa. This is kind of like a paradise and he. He made a joke basically saying being because the person who shared this with me set like a that it is possible to to book this place and And so yeah so now the joke is like oh when i finished the nico- to this lovely spot on the planet and just live this decadent and luxurious life. So we'll see okay. Manu asks how she would find someone without experience looking to get into the industry so the main thing and i think i've said this before on other shows is that this whole space is just being built right now right. It's not like there's all these rules that have been set up and these structures in. It's not like things have been done this way for a gazillion years. Like i dunno for. I like to go to italy a lot but sometimes when you're there it's kind of like this funny thing where you realize that there you know it's like made in italy means quality right and so they're kind of like they have this set of mindset about how things should be done and it's very funny to an american but anyway but here when it comes to crypto. Everything's really knew. And so you just you know. Talk to anybody crypto. The we're working in some completely different field not that long ago so just think about how. Your skills are transferable. I mean pretty much from any other industry. Your skills are gonna be transferable in some fashion. Yeah i'm a journalist and you know what does writing have to do with. Cryptography and tokens and whatnot like nothing. But you know. I can cover what's going on so the other thing is like just get started. Don't be picky. You can kind of scan the landscape from whatever your first purchase and moving to the perfect spot later. If you have ever heard. Linda shay's story. She started aucoin base in compliance. And yeah now. She runs crypto hedge funds. So you know. it's really different type of work. That she's doing now but she just got in learned about it from where she was and then made her move into where she wanted to go. That and the other thing would say is if you jump in crypto. Be creative and think big. Nothing's set in stone yet and so don't think too hard about following the rules or just don't up and stuff like that. Just be creative. Let's make something new. Let's let's not do things the way that we have done in the past. We kind of answered this already. But i'll just quickly covering these. Dan hannam asks what the most impactful episode was. That was definitely one with me park where she talked about her life. In north korea and escaping hugely hugely impactful and the most enjoyable recording as i mentioned was the one with multiple chill the just had cracking up is cw us who and crypto husband the hardest interviews slash meat or someone. You wish would return for another episode. Where hasn't returned your calls. Rohamn garrett goes lead. this is shout out to you. i've made a few divo- requests and been turned down for reasons. I don't understand. Even though he and i also shared like personally friendly messages over something totally unrelated so i would love to have you back. All right jor law says. What has this.

"You know, we're gonna have to try to figure this out. Right? So, Yeah, it's an exciting time. Well, and if I was a multi multimillionaire, I would definitely start a women's professional softball league because I enjoy watching the women's college world. Syriza's About 100 Times, Maurin As much as I love baseball than the men's college world, Syria's because I watched the last game I watched it took an hour to play one inning, and you could almost play an entire women's softball game in an hour to an hour and a half. Well, that's just because the women pictures they're almost untouchable. And there's a kind of a classic story. I don't remember who the professional baseball player Woz, but they knew he was Lisa Fernandez. They went out and pitched and struck him out, and it's That was kind of a long way to go. It's almost like Barnum and Bailey Circus to try to show that you know women had had really some fun, exciting. You know things to show s. Oh, that. Yeah, I agree with you. I really love women fast pitch softball and was fortunate enough to see it. At the Beijing Olympics in 2010 when Japan beat the U. S. A. And the U. S has long owned You know, for example, best pitch softball and the Olympics decided. Well, we better We better kick it out because the only ones who are ever gonna win it is the U. S. And course Lo and behold Japan seats for us. And now it's back in, I think in this new Summer Olympics and Tokyo, Yes, and we sure hope the Olympics can get pulled off here in a Tokyo and with baseball and softball back, that's awesome. How crazy is it to think of the days when Billie Jean King faced Bobby Riggs in the battle of the sexes in tennis? Oh, geez, that Z. I loved that. The movie came out recently, a few years ago, And just as an anecdote I met Billie Jean in an airport went with my daughter was four years old, and she Grabbed us, and she said that she can grow up to be a tennis player, and I said, if I have anything to say about it, Billie Jean, I do and I said, You know, I don't want an autograph for to take your time. But I do want to thank you for all you've done for men and women in sports, because she's done a lot for both. Equity and pay for notoriety for press coverage. She's done a great deal, no doubt and the Linda Shane steps with us from a Xavier University and you know, with all these Is it a matter of You know, teams, you know, professional teams are giving women the opportunity and yet they are qualified, and it's just a matter of being prepared and seizing that opportunity. It is and people have to, you know, offer have to open their minds to understand that there are a lot of really talented and qualified, you know, women and females in areas of sports at all levels. We do have women. I think there are three. Now that coach Boys basketball in high school in the country. We've got a couple football coaches that are female coaching high school football teams and again, it's a matter of time. It's matter of opportunity. And, you know, let's face it. You know, there's we all have bias and so on. Oftentimes it's hard to get past that. Well, can they really coach Can they really play? And again this is this is time. You know, time and experience to your point, hopefully will increase these numbers. And being a volleyball referee and a fast pitch softball umpire. I sincerely appreciate women's sports. There's no doubt about it. And when I was at the Dayton Daily News, doing SYRIZA on title nine and gender equity Wow, and can salaries improve approaching or exceeding men? Yeah, There's a There's a kind of a cute story about John McEnroe. Lot of your listeners will remember, John, you know, the very, very passive very well behaved, never, ever lost his temper tennis player. But he he was very, very adamant that women did not receive the same amount of same paycheck for winning Wimbledon and so in part because he said, Well, many have toe when three out of five women only have to win two out of three. Legion. King famously said the women would be very happy to play three out of five. If you would only let us and so for a period of time, you know, John kept. You know when the Wimbledon would meet about, you know, with the salary and the persons would be for the winners. Hey, would adamantly oppose it in Wimbledon? Famously, you know, stuck to their guns and paid the men significantly more than the women. Well, there's a story goes. John goes on to get married and course his progeny happens to be three daughters. And so when that happened, the story goes that Win. Wimbledon started asking, Okay, shareholders, You know what she would be paying of the purse? John became a champion for women. And I'd like to think you got a little schooling from Billie Jean. And so the story goes now that with the women play, you know, still the same, but they get equal persons at the end of the day that is that is outstanding and window is a professor in the Department of Sports Studies and Savior University. Maybe it's just a couple of initiatives that maybe AH, master's degree student could be working on his savior. Ah, you're talking about an academic program? Yes, ma'am. Yeah, We've got a couple we've got. Xavier has a sports administration degree that would help anybody wanting to an athletic administration or front office. What at whatever level running facilities to be a sport manager and various parts of the industry. We also have a really interesting exciting coaching Education Athletic administration program called C E. A B and it's an excellent program for those who want to focus on coaching. It helps to standardize coaching. It helps get you know the right people in the right frame of mind with the best training to put, you know the student athlete first, So we've got a couple master's programs that we're very excited about in our particular department.
