"An interesting dynamic between them as players but also as sisters six three senior number eleven six three senior number thirty McGee. They were a unit. The McGee Twins Paula and pan. And if sometimes people couldn't tell them apart it really didn't matter. They were inseparable. They were co captains and co-stars in high school. All Americans the two times championship team in Flint Michigan but they were co captains and co-stars in college all Americans on a two-time NC championship team at the University of Southern California young gifted and six foot three. They even shared the cover of jet oppose championship trip to the White House and so much more were used to sharing the limelight. We used to say a lot of award. We always look at each other as best friends. They also shared a dream a dream of representing the United States in the Olympic Games. A dream polar kit about two years ago when she pretended to be a TV reporter asking her. All American teammates Cheryl Miller about McGee twins. Nine hundred eighty four Olympic team. What are your plans you want to be on that team? How about the twins? You think that you three can make authored. You can be on that team. I soon arisen where we can coach Linda sharp teammates Julia Robinson Rhonda Windham and Cynthia Cooper help us get to know the McGee twins just a little bit better one of the things about when I recruited them. Their mother came out with them. Diane thank you and She wanted to make sure that her girls Got To a university that had a good academic program and wanted to have a coach that cared about him. And I think recruiting recruiting. Diane was just as much as important as it was recruiting. Pama Paul Magee Pam and Paula. They were In two different positions and definitely different personalities. And what? I recall on some things like if I had to get on. One of my mind is well have gotten on both of them because one of them was gonNA be standing up for the other one and if one was mad at me the other one was mad at me so I had to take care of that sometimes but They they brought an eighty. They brought a presence inside a double. I mean I was playing Paula inside as well as outside at that time and because we didn't have any post at USC at the time and of course they go up against Dan Donovan. Six eight and they had their hands full But I'll tell you what. They stood their ground as freshmen. They they got better each year and There's still to this day different personalities for sure man it was bad it was very sad when policy didn't make the team because I don't want team because I thought both of them and Cheryl should be on that team and PAM and of course sheriff's up that way as well but I think the fact that they only had twelve players on the team and they weren't GonNa put you know a third of the team from FC at the time so it was a difficult situation. For POLYTA handle for Cheryl and PAM to handle. But I think it all works out Paula got Some accolades that in her career as well but never to the point at this stage that Pam Shirl got but I I don't think we could everyone and national championship without that front line with Pam Paula and Cheryl It was such a a trio that a lot of people couldn't you know they couldn't deal with it and like Rhonda said they were running. I mean here are big. Six three running down the floor and foreign layups and all five of them would run the floor and it was beautiful to watch and the women's game was more of a zone type of You know that's what everybody played it to three zone. And then they They haven't really seen a team run like my team and I think that was the biggest difference With Pamela Paul. In fact that they could run with the pro players in it it made. It just took off from team. I know one thing I admired both PAM and Paula. Mckie's They were academics scholars. And I can remember coming in the locker role you know before practice or even sometimes before a game and Paul would have worked out and I you know I try to. I try to bottle. My academic standards fall ever told this but I really try myself successful than that. Maybe do that. I've wanted to be Estudios And concentrate on school. It was just as important Because they will lay that foundation for us and lead by example. And if I can add onto that with Rhonda this is Juliet. You Know Panapa and we called ourselves. We came in the fact that his freshman and I remember when coach sharp took us to the park pantry on Figueroa. And that's when I first met Pam Paula and I thought these were very dynamic women and how the hell was I gonNa tell them apart but one has a mole and we became. We begin to develop a friendship with with these girls and PAM was fears. I don't care what anyone says. Pam was the bad is post in the paint Pam controlled the pain. I always respected him for that and hall. I had a more of a outside for about her. She dribble she could shoot from the outside. But Pam control the paint and so it was fascinating to watch. These girls interact and their interaction between themselves and they were so different in their personalities. Pam was like you know whatever g k the practice run extra line because some Pam did but you a little bit. You know at that. At that time it was given. These girls is one of them block them where they are today. This all three tried to Olympic team. And for the first time Taylor and Pam even though they didn't didn't quite realize that we're rivals. Cheryl Miller made the team Pam. Mcgee made the team. Mcgee did not not strong enough. The coaches decided Paula. Hurt and Pam cried for.

How's the weather over there is it bad than here? Minus twenty this snow everywhere and call wait until the summer already those people who don't know a huge amount about UFC would like to get an overview, let's start with the basics. How does mixed martial arts differ from boxing? Sure. So obviously, boxing just using your hand you can punch the way stop. So the body the head you can win by knockout TKO, you on point that particular combat sport takes place in two thousand people I twenty rink in MMA. It takes place in a cage or in the case of the UFC octagon and pretty much anything goes with the exceptional groin shots poking. The is a fish hooking the mouth and an array of martial arts on display from boxing, taekwondo, kickboxing grappling wrestling, ju jitsu and also with boxing. It's usually, you know, ten eleven of. Twelve three minute rounds. Whereas in the UFC every fight is three five minute rounds except for main events main events and title-fights five five minute rounds. So again is a massive disparity in terms of the type of conditioning five that compete may have to get into shape. They have to get into buses say boxer, and I may oversee you can win by knockout TKO you can win on the judge's school caused but also you can win via submission of tap. How physical tap out? All the opponent just being toped unconscious, and you've see is the premier close of 'em. Right.
