"Bright start education accounts and all kinds of good things going on. There are some good things going on in Illinois government. Um and we're going to take some calls Treasure. You still with me? I am there. You got to take it. All right. Here we go. Linda in sister. Hey, my stomping grounds. I'm from Berlin. Right? Next store. Hi, Linda. Welcome to the show. How are you? Hi, Karen. I'm doing fine. Um, I wanted to have Michael. I have a few relatives that have died and they're on the list. And there weren't need approved addresses and I don't know how to do that. Okay, so it is a little more difficult to claim money if it's a deceased person, and that's going to follow Illinois probate law. So we do need a little bit more information. Make sure you're there definite airs out there. So what they need addresses where the deceased one clip Yes. And that we show a range on amounts out there. How much money we talking about? More than 100 less 100 Most are. It is the middle one under 100 It's under 100. We passed legislation last year because quite frankly, it hurts a lot of people saying, Oh, hey, my father or my deceased spouse has 80 bucks, and I have to go to the county building to get a death certificate is costing 40 bucks. It's not worth it. Well, we want to get these things off our books. We could come back in the right hands. It is a lower amount. Our threshold for documentation is a lot less. If you're talking about thousands of dollars, you will need to provide death certificates to us and some proof that you are the heir and that they were at that address. But if you go to Italy treasurer dot gov. Movement in the note. I have staff was listening to this call. We will have unclaimed property or my office contact you on Monday or you could leave your name and phone number with the producer of the show. I don't know if you're able to secure we'll get we'll get that and we'll have someone reach out to you tomorrow to help talk you through that. That's very nice. You got you got your own naz, Illinois State treasurer line here. All right, Linda. Thank you. Thanks for well, I'll look forward to hearing me tomorrow are talking to tomorrow. Okay? Let's go to Tracy in Chicago. Hi, Tracy. Welcome to the show. Like here and how are you? You are on with the Illinois state treasurer. That's wonderful. I have an investment account. Then. I've tried to add enough do they said they turned the money over to the state and I cannot find my I cannot find the name on the unclaimed property. Of the state. Okay? I don't know. I don't know how they will be turned over to us. UM, March 31st 2015. If they turn it over. Also, we sent you a letter. No. So this is from the This is from the investment company. They sent me a letter and The file for achievement was turned over on March 31st 2015. So I'll explain why you've been turned over and then we'll see how we work here. So if AH, there's ah company of an institution holding on the money, and they have no contact With the account owner for 3 to 5 years at the consumer protection device here so that sometimes people will pass away and then companies will hold on to their body forever. It not turned over to their heirs. It's a way to make sure that should have been sending you letters in advance saying, Hey, just check this box. Tell us you're still alive tells you still like where you are, so it's entirely possibly turned over to us. But if it's not showing up on our website, yet there either was a problem with him turning over to us, or they turn it over, perhaps with incorrect information. So I am gonna have Tio. We'll do a little work on this same thing if you leave your name and a personalized name and phone number with the producer My staff will follow the boozer and we'll give you a call tomorrow. But that's why money is turned over to make sure that investment firm hold on the body that really belongs to the heirs to the Children of deceased for any longer than they have to. Great. Thank you, Tracy. Thank you. Thank you all and you'll give your name and your information to bend my producer. Okay, Cybill. Thank you. I take care. Let's talk to a Gina in West Chicago. Hi, Gina. Welcome to Jinan by thinking so much for having your guests on today. It's perfect timing. Um, I have some What cash? It's over. It's almost $700 I filled out the form but one of the Think that they're after me to do is send a copy of my culture Security card, and I'm a little leery of doing it because of, you know, identity theft, etcetera. Good questions so we need we need We need to confirm you're so security number. However, it's under $2000. Now we recently changed that threshold. We can do a LexisNexis search of you. You still have to give us your so secure number online. You don't want to mail it in so that we can check But we will do it online. We should give this. When was the last time you tried this, Gina? I tried it right when the clone a virus was eating, and then I've been trying to call, but there's no one that answered when I called to 17 number. So okay, so those calls so Yeah, the time of growing virus hit. We're working toe people working from home. We made that change later. So the threshold might have actually raised after you tried And the phone number should be ringing through, at least going to some Savoy's fail, But I will offer you the same thing. Ben is going to be upset with think of giving him all kinds of work. He has a show to produce. But if Ben doesn't buying, we're gonna get more money back into your listeners. With the with the Corona virus. We sent people to work from home early. Now that is served miss some things up, but we now have our employees work the hole with computer access with Internet with cell phones on, so I will tell Mel the same thing. I told Gina Linda Karen But if he gives us a number we can reach out to him and help him through this because sometimes the phone system set up to handle a large volume of calls, and we are patching together. I'll see you lurking girl. Come out of the shadows so with that might think you own minute. Theme Song Manute theme song is by my Kid Queen Bee and it's a breezy. Beat so thank you so much to my son for providing me a new intro music and with that being said let's get into the most dangerous animal of all Earl van best. Junior was twenty seven years old when he met Judy Chandler. Thirteen at the time. It was October nineteen sixty one and they were in front of an ice cream shop in San Francisco. Now he became fixated on the team but Van. Bass knew he was far too old to be trying to court. Judy worse she had a less than ideal. Home Life Her father was said to be abusive which made her a prime target for a guy who knew how to say all the right things van best dead continue his pursuit and the two began sneaking the C one another for months the couple however was soon found out and the whole city was disturbed to know a pedophile operating in grooming. Young girls in their area with that revelation. Van Best In. Judy ran away together and eventually eloped in Reno Nevada now. This illicit relationship was tabloid news in the sixties in July of nineteen sixty. Two van best ended up behind bars. For statutory rate the marriage was annulled in Chandler was sent to a juvenile facility in February of nineteen sixty two true perversion prevailed in Van Best Gut Chandler to run off with him again this time to Mexico while they're chandler became pregnant in van best began to show his true colors. He was having problems holding down a job because he's a piece of shit so according to Judy. He asked her to turn tricks while she was pregnant. Before the baby was born the couple continued to elude the law. They made stops in California and finally settled in Louisiana for a while. Judy was all alone when she gave birth to. Earl van Doren best junior on February twelfth nineteen sixty three when she was just fifteen years. Old Van Best was not going to win father of the year when the baby was born in fact he would routinely lock the crying child in a footlocker. That just sounds absurd because at some point this motherfucker gotta go to sleep right. He would've wanted to sleep. He'd been wearing footlocker upside his head in me and the baby would have been gone. But that's me. Jody did everything she could to protect her son and she considered leaving van best because of his complete this interest in the baby and his constant abuse of her. She got in contact with her mother. Who allegedly told her that she could come home but the baby couldn't come with her. Their son was one month old. When van best announced that the baby had to go he grabbed the baby jumped on a train from New Orleans to Baton Rouge Jr and around eleven thirty. Am Van Best. Found himself at seven thirty six north boulevard where he entered the building with the baby in came out without him. Baby van best had been abandoned in spear will of a building by his father. He was found by a woman about five hours later. Help on finding out van best really did get rid of her baby. Judy film the strength to leave. The pedophile caught the authorities on judy and see was promptly arrested. Of course she had dirt on him as well so he ended up back in slammer also now. The whole saga was con constantly. Reported on by San Francisco Media Most giving lead by Paul Avery at the San Francisco. Chronicle poor baby was adopted into a very loving family. Lloyd in Leona Stewart remained infant Gary Stewart and treated him as their own but their son still wanted to know who he was in where he came from the ice cream. Romance as this was dubbed could be a true crime episode all by itself but today it serves as a prelude to a possible conspiracy to cover up the identity of one of the most notorious serial killers of all time in his quest to find his birth mother. Gary Stewart believes he stumbled upon the name of the Zodiac now Zodiac killer has been covered extensively in episodes of well-known podcast on documentaries and even on the big screen most recently in two thousand seven's Zodiac which starred Robert Downey junior mark. Ruffalo N Shake Jilin Hall. Now I'll eventually tell the entire story of the murders committed by Zodiac in another episode. Because today I want to give my full attention to Gary Stewart in his journey after years of both of them searching Gary and his birth mother found one a mother she was. Judy Guilford formerly Chandler. As one could imagine Gary had many questions for his birth mother but it seemed like she couldn't give him all the answers he had hoped for. He did find out this. She never meant to give him up now. That may have been somewhat of a relief or Gary. Finding out that his mother did love him in when he heard what his father had done. He initially had no desire to find out where he was in time. However curiosity and that incomplete feeling washed over him again he wanted to meet the man who abandoned him all. Those years ago he felt a need to clear the air now. Judy was a big help to gear. Because she had connections in law enforcement her second husband. Rotate Gilford was a cop in San Francisco before his death in one thousand nine hundred ninety eight through her connections with the police. Gary was provided with his father's name date of birth and social security number. Now according to Gerry after getting that information the police became hesitant. Give him any other leads. Pertaining to Earl Van Best Gary had enough info to discover that he had siblings on father's side of the family who lived in Austria when he reached out to them. They politely declined to provide any details about dear old dad except that he abandoned their family years ago. Now after that rejection Gary decided he would call off. Its search one day while watching TV Gary in his son. Zack were floored by what they saw. On cold case files a police sketch of the Zodiac killer from nineteen sixty nine with on the screen Zach remarked that this guy bore a striking resemblance to Gary Carey. Thought he looked like someone else entirely. He went with folder of research on his birth. Father then took out a photo and could not believe his is. He was looking at a face from that era. That matched the sketch. From that moment on Gerry dug up everything he could on the Zodiac. He claimed that he had proof that van. Best movements. In the late sixties early seventies lined up with the murderers perfectly. He said he could trace his father's involvement with Anton. Levay hit of the Church of Satan. Which I don't understand how that ties into this but also Charles Manson and he also had proof that Earl van best father was a code breaker who exercised his sons brain by challenging him to solve cryptograms. Now it was well known that the Zodiac like to use ciphers encrypt does to taunt the police and Public Kerry also claimed that. Earl van best name was hidden in one of those ciphers van. Best had a grudge against Paul Avery. From the San Francisco Chronicle for his embarrassing coverage of the Ice Cream Romance Avery turned out to be the only journalist receive a personal threat from the Zodiac. Gary also dug up judy in earls marriage certificate. He found a handwriting analyst who ascertained the writing on that certificate matched the handwriting of Zodiac at Gerry also submitted a DNA sample that he says indicates he shares genetic markers with DNA from a stamp that was used on a letter sent to newspapers by the Zodiac. There were more claims made by steward. This seem to point to the fact that Zodiac was indeed Kerry's biological Father Earl van best so if Gary has all this circumstantial evidence that points directly to his father. Why would the police not consider his research to close this ice cold case? Gary submits that the San Francisco police in clear including Judy Gilford's deceased husband rotator bungled the investigation. They had allegedly interviewed van. Best and Guilford noted that he was the pedophile who had kidnapped abuse and impregnated his now wife for some reason the case was botched in buried. Because of this now if this was true not only had Gary Unmasked Zodiac but he also stumbled upon one of the biggest cover ups ever. The police may have ignored gears. Findings but Susan Mustapha. A true crime. Author found them to be intriguing. She and Gary Poured over all his research and before. You know it. She was set to co author. A book with him. This story was sure to make shit load of money because everyone who was about this true crime life wants to know the identity of the Zodiac of course armchair detectives around the country. Were all pissed off because every good whip web sleuth has their own theory about the Zodiac. So the community mostly dismissed. Gary's claim because it didn't line up with their own speculations. I myself would be thrilled to know who this fucker is. Just like I was when the world found out that Joseph di Angelo is allegedly the golden state killer. And I can't wait till that bastard pleads guilty so acura moved that lately. But I digress. What happened after the book was published in Two Thousand Fourteen Duh? It became a New York Times bestseller. That's all and it has a rating of four point. One out of five on Amazon's reviews and just like the true crime community in general. The reviews were pretty divide. A user named Toubro to shop. Wrote five out of five stars will done. I could not put this book down the whole story so well written in put together. I am completely convinced that Earl van Best Junior Zodiac killer. I did not think that I would be so thoroughly convinced. I am really surprised that so many people are being critical are being critical about the lack of evidence back in the day and even now without DNA. Many cases are one. If you have enough convincing circumstantial evidence nowadays most of us prefer DNA or both but honestly just comparing his picture to the sketch and taking into account the unique scar on his finger which matched a fingerprint left behind from one of the Zodiac crime scenes was huge..

"I listen to shut down schools for variety reasons not just that that's where a lot of kids get their only good meals where they get adult supervision especially teenagers who otherwise would be out on the streets there's health and safety ramifications to that those first responders those healthcare workers who depend on the schools so they can get to work and we need those workers desperately a lot of factors here but Brianna it is literally a day by day realities aren't keep our schools going we will at any point we feel it doesn't make sense will make a move are you ready to shut them down though including alternative plans for getting those meals to people who need them as we have been dealing with this last few days a variety of contingencies are being set up they are far from perfect let's be clear this is just I think people deserve real talk Brianna the the distance that the difference between a functioning school system for over million kids versus creating alternative centers for feeding or for the kids are healthcare workers that kind of thing will in every way we can if we got to that point we would improvise anything and everything but it will not be by any means as good by definition as what we do every day when we have a functioning school system but those contingencies are being built as we speak the president made several claims on Friday that the White House later had to clarify so are you getting clear information from the White House from the trump administration no Brianna we haven't offered so long on January twenty fourth I held a press conference at emergency management office calling for the federal government to support us with localized testing we didn't get the ability to do localized testing till just about two weeks ago we're playing a huge game of catch up in this country let me say it very bluntly federal government at least the last few days has started to come alive and do something but we are so far behind we need massive testing capacity all over the country particularly the most affected areas we need the federal government to take over the supply chain right now right now we have to make sure that that places in this country that need more ventilators and the surgical masks that need hand sanitizer that that is a federalized dynamic where those factories that produce those goods are put on twenty four seven chefs and those goods are distributed where they're needed most as we would in wartime that is where we are right now by the way but on a right behind that is the question of food and basic supplies if the federal government doesn't realize this is the equivalent of a war already there is no way the states localities can make all the adjustments we need to I agree with governor DeWine I'll speak I'll reach across the aisle we are all on our own in so many ways and I think mayors and governors are doing their best to quickly improvised mobilize our cities you know cancel those elective surgeries all sorts of things we can do but we cannot control the supply chain we cannot control the the foundation of where our medical supplies and equipment come from the only hope is that the federal government actually wakes up and realizes we're in a war and takes over the situation and determines how we can actually get through this applause here thank you so much for joining us on state of the union thank you very much president trump is his administration's response to the corona virus the democratic candidates who want to replace them certainly do not agree on C. span radio CNN's state of the union continues nobody knows the system better than me which is why I alone can fix it or don't take responsibility I alone can fix it too I don't take responsibility as the president's front of iris response is under scrutiny I want to talk now to our panel that we have here this Sunday and Scott Jennings you first I ask about this not not is just a criticism of what the president has said but because leadership is prescriptive and because when someone feels responsible they might feel more compelled to do what they need to do so is it important that the president does feel responsible well sure because ultimately he will be held responsible I mean in the moment I think people are withholding judgment there's a new NBC news Wall Street journal poll out this morning that shows his job approval is largely unchanged over the last month and the normal partisan divide appears in his job approval but that's going to change because life hasn't exactly changed for the American people yet become money more I have four kids at home come Monday morning we're having you know as Scott Jennings home school sessions beginning Monday this is going to start happening obviously communities across the country and work is going to be affected and so is life gets changed people are going to be looking to their leaders to say how quickly can you get us back to normal and to me that's when the real judgment will be prescribed in the Buck stops on the resolute desk in the oval office and so whether he says that or not is irrelevant because the American people will render that judgment and I don't think there by the way gonna going to blame him for the virus coming here but they will blame the politicians who they think I didn't do their job so he has a chance to to really succeed if the federal government gets it right I want to listen to something that the president said in January the words about a pandemic at this point were not at all and where we have a totally under control it's one person coming in from China and we have it under control it's gonna be just fine when I wonder what you think about having an accurate assessment and what that means for leadership in a time like this well I think the biggest problem that Donald Trump has right now is that he does not have credibility with the American people and the reason he doesn't have credibility is because he says things that are simply not true every time he gets on television I think we get more worried I would rather that he has the medical experts like Dr crouching whom you had on today even my pants if you spend less time being a second phantom praising with the president of padding on the administration on the back and more time doing the necessary work of talking about what the responses we'd all be better off but the fact that you cannot trust the words that come out of this president's mouth is a real crisis what do you guys think about this this pull out because it's not just about it's not just about whether you can trust the words it's about who is and who isn't this poll from ABC news shows eighty three percent of Democrats Karen are concerned that they or someone they know will be infected by the corona virus that number is only fifty six percent look at this huge discrepancy discrepancy here fifty six percent among Republicans I don't remember we've had members of Congress and if their offices are getting calls saying this is fake news the president says this isn't true Democrats are making it up you know I actually did crisis communications from your city schools after nine eleven and the most important thing is correct accurate information obviously you want to make sure that if you put something out there it's correct you want to make sure that you that are constantly updating people with the right information so that people feel some degree of confidence that you're telling them as much as you can as soon as you can that's not what's that as long as that that is not what's been happening here and this partisan divide if that's actually endangering people's lives that may mean that there are people in our country who are not taking this as seriously as they should perhaps not following the guidelines that they should simply because they believe as a partisan that somehow Democrats are making this up or somehow this is some invasion from China the Chinese which is just absolute nonsense what do you think congressman really even half of Republicans is still a big number I want to focus on three concrete things we can do on a bipartisan basis first we need to protect the medical professionals on the front front lines the N. ninety five mask is actually made in China and we need to get together and figure out how to be mass produced that they get that to our doctors and nurses second we ought to set up a telehealth center of people have called for this so that people actually need to be in hospitals go to hospitals and others can talk to medical professionals go to testing and stay home and certainly not that dramatic expansion of Medicaid at least temporarily so that we can help people get the treatment that they need for corona virus these are things house Democrats would support many Republicans are supported let's just get it done how do you think we're going to see it on time I wonder if you think well that'll happen in time Scott well you know as a congressman but it looked to me like there was already sort of bipartisan support for a lot of action the house bill that passed the Senate's going to pass it according to what I've read over the weekend so already it looks like to me Democrats and Republicans are understanding the need for sort of radical at least short term policy changes and radical working together you know which is not something we see all the time on Capitol Hill but it is happening in and I should also say it's clearly also happening at the state and local level yeah I'm from Kentucky we have divided government Republicans controlled legislature we have a democratic governor you need to share I've known for twenty five years and the guys doing a terrific job and the Republicans are legislature say he's doing a terrific job all over government you're seeing Republicans and Democrats I think and it's very reassuring to the people that in a time of crisis the parties can and do work together this is generally true although one of the things that we saw this week for Republicans trying to suggest or conservatives try to suggest that there was misinformation about an abortion package about a billion dollars putting in just total nonsense absolutely not to it's slow down the process of actually getting something done and so you have to hold everybody to this standard that you're talking about focusing on working together not using misinformation to slow things down this moment for the president being I guess unconventional right for the way he speaks it's really opened the door for Democrats his rivals to come out and take that mantle let's watch press two we will be better prepared respond better recover better we'll leave a sign we listen to the experts now is the time to come together with love and compassion for all including the most vulnerable people in our society this was essentially an audition Linda who do you think did a better job well I think Joe Biden seem very presidential when he spoke and that's that is what Americans are looking for they're looking for somebody who they can trust personal trust what he says but trusted leadership now I'm a Republican I was proud as I could be of Larry Hogan when he got on television and announced his on national are his state emergency this same with Mike to white this does not have to be a partisan issue and there may in fact be some good effect in that we are a federal system and governors have a lot of authorities and so this will be broken down even if the federal government is not operating as well as it should be we can have some hope that state governments can step in they're going to need help from the federal government but that at least we have leadership in our state houses they can try and do what needed to be done final word to you as someone who's very strongly and very Sanders corner I think the policies Bernie Sanders I was talking about will make a difference I mean what are we doing to treat the twenty eight million uninsured and make sure they actually get treatment what are we doing about the homeless where this could spread the furnace how can we expand Medicare so that everyone can get the treatment that they need and finally how do we invest in public health we had dramatic underinvestment in the CDC and NIH which could have actually had a vaccine and could have had far more testing done much earlier if we had that investment congressman Linda Karen Scott thank you all so much so why now is the most important time to try to stop the corona virus spread we'll talk about that the roundtable guest on a CNN state of the union or Scott Jennings former special assistant to president George W. bush Karen Finney democratic strategist Linda Chavez becoming American initiative director and democratic California representative ro Khanna CNN's state of the union continuous you're listening to our programming line up from Sunday on C-SPAN radio W. C. S. P. F. M. Washington was an American life began to dramatically change in response to the coronavirus and perhaps to some those changes seem overly drastic but changing our lives now could have a huge impact on how and when the virus spreads this is called flattening the curve this idea that if people take extraordinary precautions wash their hands stay home when they're sick avoid large group practice social distancing this could slow the spread of the corona virus and prevent a nightmare that public officials are warning against hospitals becoming overwhelmed with patients with not enough doctors not.

"Nobody knows the system better than me. Which is why I alone can fix it. I don't take responsibility at all. My alone can fix it too. I don't take responsibility. As the president's Corona virus response is under scrutiny. I want to talk to our panel that we have here this Sunday and Scott Jennings Ju I I ask about this. Not Not as just a criticism of what the president has said but because leadership is prescriptive and because when someone feels responsible they might feel more compelled to do what they need to do. So is it important that the president does feel responsible? Well sure because ultimately he will be held responsible. I mean in the moment I think people are withholding judgement. There's a new. Nbc News Wall Street Journal. Poll out this morning that shows his job. Approval is largely unchanged over the last month. And the normal partisan divide appears in his job approval. But that's GONNA change because life hasn't exactly changed for the American people yet. Become more at four kids at home. Come Monday morning. We're having you know Scott Jennings homeschool sessions beginning Monday. This is going to start happening. Obviously in communities across the country and work is going to be affected and so as life gets changed people are going to be looking to their leaders to say. How quickly can you get us back to normal and to me? That's when the real judgment will be prescribed in the buck stops on the resolute desk in the Oval Office. And so whether he says that or not is irrelevant. Because the American people will render judgment. And I don't think there by the way GONNA GONNA blame him for the virus coming here but they will blame. The politicians who they think didn't do their job so he has a chance to to really succeed. The federal government gets it right. I want to listen to something that the president said in January words about a pandemic at this is going on. We're not at all and we're we have a totally under control. It's one person coming in from China and we have it under control. It's going to be just fine. Every time he gets on television. I think we get more worried. I would rather that. He has the medical experts. Like Dr Faucher whom you had on today. Even Mike Pants if you'd spend less time being a sycophant and praising with President and patting the administration on the back and more time doing the necessary work of talking about what the response is. We'd all be better off but the fact that you cannot trust the words that come out of this. President's mouth is a real crisis. What do you guys think about this? Fifty six percent among Republicans. While on remember we've had members of Congress say that their offices are getting calls saying this fake news. The President says this isn't true. Even half of Republicans is still a big number one focus on three concrete things we can do on a bipartisan basis. I we need to protect the medical professionals on the front lines. The N Ninety five mask is actually made in China and we need to get together and figure out how do we mass produce that to get that tour doctors and nurses second? "Last. Yeah, I do that. I no matter what the organization. And I'm sure they think of at all anymore, but I'm a Spurs fan through and through. So I mean we've had that argument, we've had that discussion Mark night. Well, at least it's one sided, I've had the discussion. I haven't heard back much interviewed him in the day, I don't know you don't have any old interviews, almost like listen to what I talked about, then I think, I'm solving that stuff is gone. Yeah. I mean, I might have it. In my audio file volt, I don't know because I know that, like the two thousand nine I think two thousand nine interview with Bill Cosby, I still have that so maybe it's in our Becky and find it, I'm not gonna play because voices in octave higher. For some reason. We've been deep Kerry, but it was well what you've heard. You've heard that audio day, when I had the, the exam remedies day do over that. That was good. Yeah. So much higher. Tweeted, but it might have been higher because with Dr did that day. Yeah. That we haven't had that happen. Probably never will again. Never having that happen. Again. Yes. I'm not to get into it. Okay. So there you go. All right. So Mark Cuban this time tomorrow, make sure you stick around one hour from now David Clarke phone lines. I appreciate you calling in. I asked this earlier could we still prosecute a war like look this isn't me denigrating? Our armed forces today. This. This is a compare and contrast between America seventy eighty years ago and America today, and the wherewithal and the need to, to make sure people lived free and had liberty and, and did not have Toronto governments killing people because they weren't the right religion, the right race. Or the right. Whatever that never would have flown back, then we're like, of course, ready to fight this evil today. We'd be like, why are the evil? What is wrong? What did we do to cause this go bomb sort of with the Taliban, and with, with other radicalized people around the around the world? Then he goes apology tour. Mistakes. I'm sorry. Do right. You know. Country. Maybe. That actually wasn't bad. All right. Let me go out to the phone lines and see if you think that, that people would still sign up still wait line to go fight for this country. It's going to be Mason in Michigan. I may what's going on. You're on the air. Let's go. Hey, this is Nate Mason go with Nate if you'd like. Okay. Hey, thank you very much. All right. Did sit down with my four kids and playing the Memorial Day. All it means. And I question to if we were to go to war right now World War Two and the existence of our country was actually in that risk. I do believe wholeheartedly that there would be a ton of young people from eight from seventeen to forty that would come out of the woodwork mostly out of. Flyover country. I agree with you. I think the media would portray it that there is no, wherewithal or conscience to go and do this. They would focus on L LA in New York, and, and it would it would seem as though young people would not want to go and do it. But you're right. I mean two thousand one wasn't that long ago? Right after nine eleven people signed up like crazy. Because they wanted to get the bad guys did this to us. I think you're right. I think you're right, flyover country, especially, but, you know, the media would spin it a different way. Oh, absolutely. They would try to see they would downplay it completely. And 'cause they downplay anything patriotic. It seems like and that's just my opinion. And also I have hand Joe. You do a very good job. Thank you, this, one of your members having the. Twenty weeks off of the year. What does that the it does say that? She gets twenty weeks, a year off Kerry, an evening on not have twenty weeks vacation a year. I wish I did. Favor today for me. Yes. Would you have you ever call you Mason the rest of the day? Do that. Appreciate you see say what we mess up the name. It's still funny. There you go. Still great fun. You have fun with it carry anything, did you want to apologize to the people at all for all the weeks off? No, no. I'm taking vacation. I take every minute of my vacation, I leave nothing on the table. No, I don't do that. I know you don't I can't say I can't say you do that. 'cause Paulos like November?
