"I think the novelty is worn off. They did it already. Obviously, I'm a Yankee fan, the Yankees, they ended up losing that game, but listen, would I put it on for 5 minutes to just to check out the scene? The uniforms what's going on. Yes, am I lasting more than 5 minutes listing more than an inning cubs reds in the middle of August? No. Right. I will say, I want to give one recommendation for things on something for people to watch. I tweeted this, but I want to say it here. It came out maybe a month ago. It's an ESPN. It's not a 30 for 30. It was an E 60. It was one of those E 60. I don't know the differences between the 30 for 30 in the east. I mean, it's two different branches of ESPN. But it's called the great impostor and me. You would love it. It would be right up your alley. So I don't want to give a ton of spoilers, but it's about this guy who used to finagle his way into massive sporting events and get on the field on the court everywhere. He was at the, it starts out where he ends up in the layup line at the NBA All-Star Game in uniform. You know, he ends up getting into the MLB All-Star Game. There's a big incident. I think it's at the Emmy Awards, which I don't want to spoil. And then halfway through, it takes a wild left turn on something you would have never seen coming. And it was like, I think it's like an hour and a half hour and 20 minutes. Is it on demand? I can watch it. ESPN+ ESPN+. You would love it. This is what I would say to people. And it's a one off. It's not a series, so you need something to watch one day. You're not looking to get into like a regular series. You just need a one off. It's perfect. The great impostor in me, Jeremy shop is a big part of it, and his dad dick shap factors into it. And it would be right up your alley. And this is what I would say to people.

"And the first year, you know, ESPN learned a lot from that. I'm hoping to do more games, my big thrill was having an opportunity. Multiple times to go between the benches and ice level and report from there during the game. That's so great. I mean, to me, I was like, wow, at this stage of my career, I never thought I'd have that opportunity. And I only have that opportunity because ESPN got hockey back. So that's just so cool, you know, being in between the benches and I mean, hey, I played it a much lower level. I played in high school and in college, but all those players grew up with me watching me on SportsCenter. So I was really kind of fun. Did I get hit by a number ever? I play goalie back in the day. And the puck did get in my little four by four little thing there a few times, certain games. It seems like the puck always found me. Typical goalie complaint. The puck always found me and found me. One time it hit me, but it was, it wasn't even a big deal. I don't know, I must have got a soft part of me. But it didn't really bother me, but a couple of the players come over and they're like, are you okay with the UK? And I had to remind them that I was once a little gender. And I find, and then the other times you just, you know, you're cool, you know? The puck's on the floor. Okay, hit me, Pakistan, floor, go down, get it up, turn around, throw it to the little kid that's standing behind me. Right. That's great that you got to go, right? I mean, the coverage for hockey has changed so much, obviously, and that you get right on the ice basically now with the reporting. There was a narrative out there when ESPN didn't have the NHL for all those years that NHL. That ESPN never covered the NHL

Why Deep Throat Is so Difficult to Watch in 2022

Why Deep Throat Is so Difficult to Watch in 2022

"It's a difficult movie to watch in 2022. It's not on any streaming service. You can find the sequel inside deep throat and there's a biopic Lovelace on several channels. But if you go on Amazon and look to buy a DVD, they're very expensive and always very low in stock. Turner classic movies reviewed it and reduced the flip to a three sentence synopsis, it goes like this, tell me if this turns you on. A sexually frustrated woman learns from a doctor that she has an auto anatomical defect that requires her to have oral sex in order to have an orgasm. Grateful for the doctor's help, she becomes infatuated with him and asked him to marry her. And instead he gives her a job as a sex therapist, practicing her technique known as deep throat. No one had heard that term before. And the reason for his absence might be that the film's star, Linda bormann, under the name Linda Lovelace at the time, she eventually was so upset she made this movie. She disowned her participation in the movie. Then she eventually joined an anti pornography movement and testified before the anti obscenity meets commission that virtually every time someone watches that movie, they're watching me being raped, she said. And she claims she'd been forced to do the film and other porn loops at gunpoint. I wouldn't doubt it since the mafia was very involved in porn back

The Only Way America Can Be Healed Is by Turning to Christ

"Let's go to Linda in North Carolina. Linda, welcome to Carl Jackson prime time. You got the mic. Thank you, Carl. So good to speak with you. I've been listening to you I've never heard of you before. And let's now nanny 4.5. But the thing that I love about you the most, I believe you have a very personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. You know, knowing Jesus is like, I tell people, you know, we knew our president Reagan and we know our president Donald Trump, but we don't know them personally and intimately. But when we get to know Jesus, the Jesus, the real Jesus of the Bible, we know him personally and intimately his character becomes our character. And I sense that in your spirit and also one little word will send that what's wrong with our nation, and I've got a little thing to say, sin will take you further than you want to go. San will continue longer than you want to say. And seeing more call you more than you want to pay. A little children's school. Sandy's going upside run to the craft. I had a picture of a cross and mama and daddy in the bottom. And even in my church today, the young man has grown that was in my San Diego class. He said in a church where an Christian school and he asked him, he said, what Bible are you reading from? And he was the only one that did, he said, mom bobbled doesn't say that. But you know, we're walking Bible. America, even before The Walking Dead, we got people that are dead walking around dead. And so the cows they're dead in sins and trespasses. And the only way America can be healed is for 18° water turn to Christ to get to know him personally. And that his character becomes your character.

How Do the Next-Gen Marxists View Sex? James Lindsay Explains

"Talk to us, I talk kind of terrorism for many years for the Defense Department. I got to understand a little bit about how the new left looks at sex when we examine the weather underground, a domestic terrorist organization, which is associated, which is linked to Obama through its founders and leaders like bernadine dornan Belair's. They had a phrase smash monogamy, meaning monogamy, a man and a woman together is a bad thing. There should be infidelity or there should be no even concept of fidelity. We'll explain the broader, dark reality of how the next gen left, the next gen marxists look at sex between a man and a woman. Yeah, for sure. And just as a kind of a pointed aside for the moment, you mentioned the weather underground. So of course this was led by Bill ayers, another friend of Obama, but he also was a strong supporter of this woman. Most people have never heard of who implemented common core since we talked about education by the name of Linda darling Hammond and Linda darling Hammond was a big friend of Obama. She, like I said, implemented common core, very significantly, but she was also heavily praised and supported by the weather underground and Bill ayers and specific. So these connections are very important to recognize. As far as far as I bring that up, she is actually instrumental in creating and implementing what's called social emotional learning, which is how they're bringing the comprehensive sex education to the kids in schools today. And so then you have to ask yourself, well, why are they bringing this comprehensive sex education the way that they are, the sexualizing of children, the grooming of children, both politically and sometimes unfortunately sexually in schools. And the answer is that the marxists have known that this is a absolute powerful, it's like a nuclear bomb against the society to sexualize the children. George

The Scandalous Descent of Alf Star Max Wright

"But when I was flipping through the book, it got me thinking about the show ALF and I don't know if you remember how scandalous one of the stars of that show turned out to be. Do you remember the dad max Wright max Wright was a mild mounted married man also a guy who, you know, used to more or less spend his time doing wonderful stage plays, worked with Shakespeare, he worked on Shakespeare plays and Heinrich ibsen, like major stage productions. I'm talking tippy top of stage acting. And at one point, some years ago, he turned his back on his television show success and decided to go Abe shit and go wild with a vice filled life of hardcore casual gay sex with men and taking hardcore drugs, even though he was still married to his wife, Linda. Yeah, this guy went bananas, max Wright went bananas. If you don't know what he looks like, go Google his name. You'll remember immediately. And after his wife died of breast cancer in 2017, after 52 years together, this guy decided the jig is up and it's time to let my freak flag fly. So he took up with a very like minded German male nurse and it was through this male nurse, they began to understand why Matt's right never felt right in his shoes. The malnourishment was named Reiner dentlinger and matched described him as his life partner, and this particular German guy said he's ashamed of the TV show ALF. It was a demotion because he came from the theater. It was the motion, but he needed the money the network TV paid him to live his sordid life behind the camera and away from his wife. Could you imagine the hell this guy was in?

How AJ and His Best Friend Switched Girlfriends

"I had fallen in love with a girl in high school named Jennifer colletta. And I ended up marrying her, but before that ever happened, Ronnie was dating her. But it was very innocent dating because Jennifer was a virgin until she married me, so it was very innocent it was making out of his hand holding. It was that kind of shit. Calling through the movies, so Ronnie started dating her first. And I was dating a girl named Linda Buren. And on Jennifer's sweet 16th birthday party. She had some people over, Ronnie was invited, obviously. He was a boyfriend, and he told me to go. And I knew of her, but when I saw her, I remember she wore a lavender jumpsuit and I fell in love. I just fell in love as you know my heart often does. Something happens inside me. It happened with Andrea. It happened with Virginia. It happens to people who I know for a fact I'm gonna be with. And I knew I had to do something because Ronnie was cheating on Jennifer constantly. And maybe this makes me a rat, I don't know. But I was the last person to leave that party and we sat on a stoop in the backyard. It was the summer time. No, actually it was February. But it was not that cold. And we were talking about her relationship with Ronnie and I said, but you know what Jen, you're such a pretty girl. I don't think you need to be with a guy who runs around like that. She says, I know, but I don't think he's doing anything too bad. I said, well, why are you putting up with that? Don't put up with that. She says, I know, you're probably right. And basically, you know, I broke them up, I guess, because. When I left the party, I went back to my house, where I live with my mom, and I called her number, and I still remember it. 6 6 one 8 four three two. And I called her and we talked for another hour or two in the kitchen with the long phone wire that stretched around the table and I could sit on the floor by the backbone so nobody could hear me. And I basically told her that I wanted to be with her and wanted to be a boyfriend and she knew she felt it too and the next day or two she broke up with Ronnie and my buddy Ronnie then goes and grabs Linda Buren and makes her his girlfriend. So we traded girlfriends.

"And from the standpoint of a comedian who goes to roast, which are the junkyard dog, you know, teeth, gnashing, fucking bloodsport, the roaster blood sports. You know, I go back to a roast many years ago. I mean, maybe some of you heard this, but Johnny Carson was roasting. I'm going to fuck this up. I forget who the roast was for. But Elizabeth Taylor was in the front row, I believe, and Carson said something like we were going to hold this roast, we were looking for a bigger venue for this roast, but Elizabeth Taylor's punch was taken. That's the way the roast began. You know, I don't have to remind you of Ted Danson and Whoopi Goldberg with Ted and blackface. I was at that roast. Linda Stacy and I were one of the two journalists to ever be allowed to attend a roast like that. And it was an honor. And to see Ted, you know, in blackface was startling. You knew it was wrong. His girlfriend Whoopi is right there, apparently Whoopi wrote the jokes from him. Whoopi said the blackface was fine. But the way it opened, where Ted's mom said, ten, I'm worried about you in this whoopee girl. What about, how do you feel about having kids with that? I'm just kinda like you like keeping up with my account like not necessarily producing anything. That's leading to munch on cadillac. Hate us right now. Bottom before i was putting on content where people were seen at sharing. It is saying you know. We wanna be like come to podcasts. Come to this come talked on this. A news network about x. Y. immigrant issue. Let's have a debate stuffing that i think i think for me. Things straight changed was kobe because everybody became an activist. Everybody was involved. Everyone was fighting right so i was never doing any local activism. I knew who my manner was You know whatever stuff like that. But i didn't know what city council i had. No idea we didn't. We didn't really know much of our city or who's who's in charge of our city and that came very real became very involved When cody hit so when cohen hits That's when i started really getting involved in local politics. Just six o'clock in the morning as the sun was coming up and i. It is for all practical purposes. You we. I think we could define it as an art song. It is a beautiful beautiful. Wasn't quite folk. Music is certainly wasn't rock and roll wasn't pop music. I didn't know what it was. But i knew i had to sing. It and i knew that was the direction i wanted to go in. So i went back to los angeles and i started begging producers record companies. Want to record this song harley really. That's corny. It's not a hit so i just held onto it. Sorta put it away in my back pocket. Because i don't want to get its feelings hurt and then one night. We were getting ready to play carnegie hall and andrew gold in my band and he. He didn't learn the song for some reason from someplace and he was playing the intro to it. I said i love that song. Let's put it in the show tomorrow so we put it in the show and we got a tremendous response from the carnegie hall. Cloud crowd data monday through. "Linda Garcia. . Welcome to come up here for having again and again Ah. . Welcome back I'm so excited for this conversation because it's long overdue and also perfect timing you moved. . So I haven't seen you in person in a long time. . Yes. . How long ago was that? ? Can you believe it's year already already? ? Yeah that's. . Insane. . How do you feel I think? ? Well, , it took a long time. . I don't want to Discount Bat. . It did take some adjustments and I did a lot of inward work which ironically was part of the journey where I'm at now. . So it's like part of the process, , and now that I'm like lifting my head above the water. . Speak I feel like nothing would be happening. . Had I not moved none of this like there I don't think I would be doing what I'm doing now if I still had been in La totally in I remember number Lewis and I tried to talk you out of it. . Yeah because like you talked about this way before you actually made the move. . Yes, , and we were like, , how do you know? ? Yeah so true you know I mean obviously, , it's not an easy decision. . There was a lot of ego attachment tied to like living in La. . What was I going to do if I wasn't in L. A. and the reality is that like I knew I spend most of my time inside my office I'm not doing L. A. Banks. . And if there's ever an la thing that is really important, , I can simply outs two hour flight. . You know I didn't have to make it more complicated than what it was. . But what's interesting is one of the consistent messages that I kept receiving from my intuition was that I would encounter wealth. . When. . I moved out to Dallas shut up consistent loud and clear. . It was actually more specific than that. . When you moved to Dallas, , you are going to be wealthy. . Did you question it believed it one hundred percent so it was almost like the driving factor of having to move out here I told one person and it was Ana I saw her I think the week that I was going to move. . I was invited to any event with. . Nielsen. . <unk> was the man awards actually end I told her I said, , you know my intuition keeps telling me that when I moved to Dallas I'm going to be wealthy and it was weird even say that says that. . Right. . Sure. . Well. . Let's talk about that because even with that, , there's a lot of shame in our community thinking about wealth and and having a lot of money. . It's like how dare you want to have a lot of money because those people like all the beliefs that get so like put in our heads around people that have money because we look at the best you know that has all the money in you're like hanging out but I so Mila, , you know with all their stuff and so there's this like sense of shame that. . We grow up with around being wealthy. . So how was it for you? ? When you kept getting that? ? Of course you you've done a lot of work that yes. . So I did start doing the work towards that a couple of years ago a wall. . So two years prior to moving. So . it's been a total of three years and it's been very intentional work like I need to heal my money wounds because money was coming in and I would feel guilty about having it or I would find a way to get less of it. . If. . I was producing an event or opening up space I would charge my break even point how stupid is that I would urge enough to make money yes. . Though I was doing that for a long time and it's very <unk>. . Still. . Yeah. . That's not okay. . something. . Really. . I mean really it's the clearest message of Oh yeah. . You don't value yourself. . Exactly. . It's. . It's all about self worth. . So share meister with with Airbus before I forget it, , I sent a whole newsletter about it because this month and power sisters is. . month. . So we're all working on our self worth Steph and so for me unconsciously at individ-, , worthy of two, , hundred, , fifty dollar airports because dairy I spent all this money when there's kids that are dying and children in cages and how Meghan spent two hundred fifty dollars in the pair of electronic set Dr Necessary Right. . So what I was doing, , this is how like annoying or unconscious works to like sabotages right. . So I realized that I had like fifty pairs of different kinds of headphones. . Word for different things like some were good for phone calls the wired ones were the ones that are good for phone calls. . The wireless were only good for like walking my dog and listening to podcasts because if somebody called me, , nobody could hear me ahead over. . That were good for like listening to something and like whatever right? ? Like all the fifty ones that I had had a recent to be, , and then when I did the math pam you've bought three. . Air Pods. . Bright like we do that all the time I mean I know a beach Lucas I live at both solid cotto it's not. . It's crazy how we will justify spending a lot of little bit of money. . And not the one time. . This is a good investment. .

"Yeah Gabby there's a great book called attached. It's by Dr Amir Levin and Rachel Rachel Heller. Attached is what it's called. It's a great book for everybody but he may be not that I could possibly diagnose anything but he may have a bit of avoiding attachment issues which you know. I guess it's fear of commitment and it can be pretty selfish behavior as well. I could definitely see that the exit. He's been so hung up on. He actually cheated on her and that's why they broke up. Yeah I think you should read this book. If he's cheats on his acts now still like crushing on her. Whatever like romanticizing the relationship which a lot of us do after a break-up then he just may not be in a head space at all to be in a relationship with you or anyone else if he's still sort of struggling with intimacy but the practical advice I would say is to check out this book attached and I would maybe give it a week and then maybe shooting like a friendly tax. Just saying hey thinking about you. I know we had some drama or whatever but I want you part of my life and I I want to have fun with you or you know something so. He doesn't think that the next that you have is necessarily going to be about what happens. You know like what happened to our relationship. What happened to our budding relationship? I think maybe sidestep that just for a minute. And if he's not the one for you is not the one for you and to what true said too. I think if you feel your friendship is worth saving and working on on that if that's too hard for yourself to deal with because it's a relationship that you want then. I think you have to be honest with yourself and not first yourself to try to be friends when it's painful for you to want more than that and you know what if you are hung up on him but it's not a relationship that is working for you the moment you can let yourself let that go bet you somebody else. Who's an even stronger match for you? We'll just all of a sudden appear in your life. I know you probably miss him. And I know you're confused and I'm afraid that I don't know if we have the answers gabby but I can't tell you how many times I've been in that position in the in it feels really helpless because it is. It's a powerless. Because you want something that the other person you know is uncertain about and I'm sorry about that because it's it can be a lonely place to be especially in these times but I guess that's the journey that we all have to go through because getting your heartbroken even a little bit is I believe makes you more empathetic person. But I'm sorry. Gabby it's a bummer. Especially when you're looking for the familiarity that you knew your buddy in high school that you were close with and laughing with and you know Gabby to you may take a minute to reflect if you've romanticized your friendship with him as well. You know. That may give you comfort if you feel like. Maybe you don't have quite as much of a connection as you used to. I mean I feel that with some of my friends from back home that while we have you know we laugh. We have fun. Our friendship is rooted in nostalgia which is natural. That's what in life speaking of Nostalgia. We were looking at old photos. The other night like together like through texts and he goes. How could you not tell that I liked you back then? I was like you never told me. Oh tease. He's doing what he sounds to me like. He's doing what I what I was saying. Where he's he's giving you a little and then he's he's pulling back he's giving a point back in it and he's trying not to fully just cut the tie of like a an intimate relationship and He's not interested in that and it just makes it worse. Holiday Gabby course I know him but this behavior makes me think that he's Kinda jerk right now like I wish that he could just be more straight. Oh he definitely is good. Okay good well then we think if we all agree that he's a Dick then let's get him out of your life. Well it's funny because what drew was saying how like he kind of gives me just enough when I'm the one that pulls back in there's been so many cases like when he mentioned the thing about his ex or last week. I said well you know maybe I can't really be your friend right now because of all of this. He got very upset and was having like a panic moment of like. Oh God I fucked this up so bad. I don't know if I'm crazy about this guy. I concur yeah find. You knew one. Yeah it doesn't seem fair that you know he can act on a whim and decide when you guys can be friends or intimate and when you're honest about it it's simple control. Yeah which of course makes you. Powerless Gabby is he twenty-seven as well he's two years younger than me. He's twenty five. I'm twenty seven because I still think that's a little too old for this behavior. Yeah I do too. I think twenty five is old enough to be able to say what you mean into. Not between with anybody emotions would is your mom. Think or do you talk about that. Saw My mom and I are very close She kinda was just like when I started talking to against like I don't want you getting hurt again. Just be careful. Oh Yeah I don't know if I would reach out to him. Gabby if you can be strong enough. I would recommend against it if you stop phone. You on social. And he's he's doing all the things you're saying. I think just to be the bigger person and cut that tie and you'll find it'll hurt a little bit but you'll find something better now and. Gabby we always have to fight against our own sense of curiosity to. It's like the issue cannot scratch. Which is very hard but I would attempt to do that if I were you in truly check out this book attached because he does sound like he has waited attachment issues. Who knows but it might give you comfort reading the book so you can identify like some of the specific behaviors and realize that. It's not about you. You know that you. You shouldn't take it personally that this is about him. Oh gabby I'm sorry though. Thanks for sharing with us. Gabby thank you. Yeah thank you and please know. Gabby we've all in there. It's lovely when you find someone who you can love and you know loves you back and it's not one sided and and Gabby for you. It sounds very one sided. "Hi Ana we're here with drew. Scott and Linda Scott. We're not here. We're separated by miles here in spirit. Yes I GET HYDRO. Gabby how are you doing? Are you hanging in there as much as can be expected with all of this yeah? Are you quarantining at home? Yes isn't it weird? We were we were talking about. How time has kind of melted? Yeah there's no time anymore. It's a very odd feeling and it's really hard to do any work in any way like from home. Do you guys find that too. I don't maybe guys don't you guys are good with schedules. I mean there's certain parts of our work that we can do from home and there's certain things we can. All production is shutdown. But you know we can do. Some instagram lives conference calls and whatnot. but I mean spending time either. I think it's harder to focus. Yes my head. Space is not there. Yeah Gabby are you at home in isolation on your own or do you have family with you. it's just me and my mom. It's been the two of us together for most of my life. So it's you know nothing. Unusual does your partner in crime. Hey gabby so tell us what's going on okay So I had this friend for about nine years now. We met in high school. He moved here summer of my senior year and We became friends. Used to live like on my block. Actually we're neighbors. And he was a grade below me but we were close friends for a while. Went to his problem with him. You know and then he ended up moving not very far away like maybe five ten minutes away after he graduated. And we're like friends like from a distance like we weren't close at certain periods of time and then about like maybe four years in to our friendship kind of developed a crush on him which is kind of funny because when he first moved to town like every girl like was throwing herself at this guy like every girl thought he was really hot and wanted to date him and I just always like saw him as a friend at that point the lake when he started. We were like in early twenties at this point. I kinda got a crush on him and I remember telling him about it and nothing really came out of that but then last year I had just gotten out of a three year relationship. He had just gotten out of a two year relationship and he finally came out and said to me. Hey I've always liked you like since we met basically just never said anything and we started kind of seeing each other. We're sending a lot of time together and it was like amazing like we had like so much chemistry. We were like you know sending each other like the same tax at the same time like we were like thinking the same thing. Everything just seems very perfect until he kind of said to me. You know. Well I'm still in love with my ex girlfriend and So we decided to kind of like slow things down a bit and you know like we were still sort of seeing each other but not anywhere near as frequently. We're still talking and things like towards the end of the summer. Seemed like you know in my mind. At least I thought okay. Things seem to be picking up again. Maybe like he's over it and he's ready to move on but like when I brought it up again. He said like he wasn't ready for anything. He was still had feelings for his ex. And so at that point. I just decided you know. Why don't we just go back to being friends? I was like pretty devastated though date. We were only seeing each other for like a few months. But like we've known each other for so long it just like it. All kind of like melts together so lake lot of us. You guys didn't define things right. It was kind of in Ne- like Oh let's see where things go stage and it never really got past that. So when he said he wasn't ready for anything I was like. Let's just be friends and then I didn't really hear from him for like six months and then we spoke like last week for the first time since last September and the conversation was kind of weird because like we ended up saying I love you to each other which I was not expecting it all. But he's still kind of without saying it was saying you know we're not going to be together basically and you know if we're just going to be the way it was where we don't really talk all that often like sometimes we do. Sometimes we don't so I'm just. I'm just very confused by the whole thing because I don't really know. It just seems weird that he would come out and say. Hey I love you after six months of not talking to me but you know they'll like oh we can't be together. Gabby during the six months that when he didn't really reach out to reach out to him frequently no not at all. No I didn't reach out to him just because I kind of felt like I was the one that got hurt and the whole thing so I felt like he should be the one to to reach out to me but when we finally did speak last week I was on the reach out to him was last week. When you said that you loved each other or was that earlier Yay Very sent. So you guys had a nice conversation a week ago. Yes and then oddly enough he on followed me after that. I'm just totally confused by this guy. Well it sounds like he's really working out some things. Yeah I think he may have a whole other set of issues that maybe he can't tell you out or you know that sort of the unknowable. You know the one thing I think from what you're describing with this with this gentleman news. Not acting like a gentleman if he's on following you but The the thing that I I I've seen guys do before is if they know someone they're afraid to let you down and so what they end up doing though is hurting you even more because they're sort of dragging you along and leading you on and they they keep being nice but they're giving you just enough to make you feel you know that little bit of love or or want but then in the end they end up hurting you a lot more. Because they're not being clear with you so I'm wondering if he said he loves you in a way to give you something. Nice but to let you go and in the end. It's still confusing you. I don't know yeah I definitely do. Get the feeling that he that. There's something that he's not saying that he's holding something back. I've crashed on so many boys that have not reciprocated. But but I've been like friends with his. Although I you know I think there's like can men and women have very healthy. Heterosexual friendships independent of their partners. I don't know that's still kind of an unanswerable idea for for me and it's so hard right now during quarantining to distract oneself. I think especially if this is on your mind a lot. You don't have to answer this Gabby at all. I know that it does complicate things a lot if things got physical between you two but that is another thing like in the past. When I've done that kind of thing it just makes it harder because the rejection for because I feel like I'm I'm a very sexually intimate person. I have to be very close to somebody which makes you know hooking up that much more complicated back in the day. I'm the kind of person that I like to just even if it hurts. I like to just rip off the band aid. I like to just be blunt and talk through somebody. Is it something? Gabby that you feel you have done in. Just calling him out on any of the bullshit just to say. I'm a little confused. You say you love me and you still want to be friends yet. You inform me now you know. That's cutting off communication and was that the intent of you guys having that conversation last week to him. So do you feel. It was really clear what you're what you're looking for out of this friendship or relationship or do you still feel. It's a little money. I felt like it was clear before than it is now. Almost I did like try to call him on stuff and some of it. He got very defensive over and even called him out on that and said hey like you're kind of just coming from this very like defensive reactionary place and you're not listening to me and he was like. Oh I'm sorry you're right let me listen. And then when I when he was listening he was like well. I kind of see what you're saying but I I don't feel like I did that. And I almost felt like he was trying to comfort himself more than he was trying to comfort me like he had some sort of guilt and it was like well in my mind. I didn't do these things the way you think I did. Though I feel good about it whether or not you do which is kind of I mean you. Can you can tell them. What you're saying is very defensive. I mean no one likes to be attacked so calling somebody out I I find what I 'cause I again we're talking about this earlier With Ana is I have a very loud and strong voice and even when I'm not trying to sound like I'm attacking. I do sound that way. Sometimes and sometimes what I'm trying to relate as a message is being picked up a different way but you know finding a way to talk to him and that he doesn't feel needs to be on the defensive at the end of the day. We can't make people you know everybody's an individual and loves who they love and that's their own progressive tive and you know just would have been nice if if he could just be honest with you so that you can move on with your life. If he's not interested Gabby. Do you have a way to reach out to him? Do you have his phone number and stuff. Yeah we've been communicating like a little bit here and there through like text or through social media. Well you know. Here's the thing. Sounds like he's not interested in relationship right now or maybe he is still you know into his his ex. And you know you can't strong arm somebody into liking you or wanting to be in a relationship with you and you clearly miss him and he misses you so. I don't think you need to throw away the idea of a friendship at all. I do think that next time you do talk to him. I would not focus on future is or where you guys are at in your friendship or what happened back. Then for like an initial conversation I would keep things kind of light and easy in then maybe explore. If you want to but the thing is you might not. I don't know how many answers you're going to get out of him if he's been very vague all along. He may not know where he's at. I don't know if you ask him directly. What is going on? If he has the tool set in himself to answer in an honest way which means you might be vulnerable to either being led on again or or being led on in sort of further. I would say you know if he wants to treat this like a friendship than I think. That's where you have to start as well and you know keep things a little bit light and fun. And and maybe explore if he's open to it if he's angry with you like I don't understand the following that seems very odd to me but I kind of dot the impression that maybe he is now associating me with like Oh she thinks I'm terrible like I think of all the Shitty things that I've done in my past when I talked to her. I don't Wanna see her stuff anymore. Like that was kind of my thought process on that at the end of the day. If it's too hard for you to just be friends with him. If you've wanted more than I think you need to be with yourself as well. If it's a friendship that you wanNA continue but at the end of the day you both deserve to be happy. You just hope that both you can be honest with yourselves and others as to what's going to make you happy..

"Yeah okay we don't work exactly and you can see all the different issues what I actually love to I don't know if you've ever been a part of this. But the organization also does these weedays all across. Us and Canada and in every major city. It's a stadium the literally have a stadium. You think of the tens of thousands of people that fit into the stadium while it's all kids in their communities that have volunteer. You don't pay to come to this if you volunteered. Whether it's an initiative helping homelessness eradicating kids that are hungry navigating the kids like radical hungriness Whatever the initiative is giving back to your community somehow activates. You is eligible to come back really cool shoes liberties the last one that we went to Morgan Freeman Jennifer Aniston. They're Prince Harry. They're all they're talking to the kids in his barring them with their own stories. That's amazing when I was in high school I joined a youth group with the Seattle Presbyterian Church because there was a boy there that is a massive crush on. He didn't go to my school. Josh he never he never showed up to. Dreamy. I remember him but we went to Tijuana and built homes for a week which was wildly unsuccessful. I mean there was like in my memory. Maybe fifty kids high-schoolers we're so lazy unbelievably lazy. And then there's like ten leaders that are doing all of the work. I think when we did attempt to help we were hurting. Because we just didn't know what we're doing but you know we poured the concrete built a brutal entry structure for a family that they seem to be happy with the results. But it's no joke like a building. Shit is fucking heart. I'm hoping that that structure is still standing for that families. We to just before Christmas. We had thirty nine houses on the go. We've been doing it a long time. It allows us to really know where we can get efficient. A lot of people fall behind if you try to do your own project and be your own general contractor. You don't know the time line you know or you know when you might need to have the inspector come into check your permits and you know that might delay with something else. So it's it's a big process but that must have been rewarding giving back to the organization. I just felt guilty because I didn't do anything. Did you hook up with Josh? Josh didn't even show up. We didn't show up all right Johnson. Yeah Hey can I ask a little bit more about your relationship? Yeah okay so this one. I don't know if you guys want to talk about it. But what's the last thing? You guys argued about Corona Virus. Or maybe arguing. I'd say it's the degree like or know me. Linda is a bit more extreme than I am with how she wants to shut things every my whole thing like cleaning where obviously not doctors and scientists so he never want to interpret or misinterpret or assume I just wanted to take whatever information we are getting from various legit sources and. I think it's okay to be a bit more extreme because what's the harm and being extra careful that's true my thought. Yeah all right. I'm GonNa tell you something that's more detail than probably wants to know. I don't use urinals why I don't like using urinals because inevitably inevitably whenever I'm Santa urinal somebody walks over and goes property. Brothers put their hand out to shake my hand. What I'm like I'm at the euro so I don't use it that there is a code with your urinals and men talk to each other you just talk straight ahead and I also don't like it when people are standing using a urinal and both their hands one is looking at their people on with eight. I don't understand how your aim is that good at what you're doing but that's really weird. Can't really check it out can you? You can't figure out what's going on because you can't spend then you look weird. Zeh Okay all right whereas this. I am the guy though that will if I'm in the restroom let's say I was a stall or wash my hands. Whatever and and I notice that walks by so when I go to wash my hand if I know somebody uses a urinal or the toilet and walks by not washing their hands. I will say Oh. I think you forgot something. I did this a year ago. I I feel a little bad but I think it's worth it older generation. Sometimes it just wasn't the habit and I'm not giving them excuse but I kind of get anyone our age or younger like you know. Better Wash your hands after you touch your junk. And so this guy walks out. Is Maybe early thirties. He walks from the urinal walks over. He literally just walk. He does this with his hand and shakes his hand and he didn't wash his hands he goes. I don't know I don't get it. He walks past shakes his hands. He walks out the door. I'm like that's disgusting. So when I walked out he was with a group of young like like pretty ladies girlfriend. Or He's trying he's trying to impress them and I walked past and I'm like. Hey Excuse me Buddy Jesse you know. I think you forgot to wash your hands after you use the urinal and then I kept walking and a little bad and then the could see the shame in his face. He went immediately. Read and I'm like I hope he's now learned his lesson and will never do that again. That kind of confrontation well. Any confrontation terrifies me. In general. I'm not good at it. I'm not prepared for the engagement but Linda. Are you good at that kind of thing? Oh no I'm the worst I will no. I think I'm I know the only thing you have one thing that you do that. I feel is a bit too confrontational? Oh okay well no. It's like passive aggressive. It's not confrontational very passive aggressive. Go ahead okay so smokers. It's fine if you smoke but we're all sharing the air and it pisses me off when people are smoking close to a door because even if you're allowed to distance all your smoke is getting into the building via argument though is so if you're smoking where you shouldn't be smoking. I will also speak up because she won't speak up but I'll speak. I'm but hey you know what? You're supposed to be three meters from the door. Whatever it is you know you should move away. But she'll do it. Sometimes when people are smoking where there's a designated smoking or they're allowed to show up by what she does is. She doesn't say anything she does not like. She does it in such a sarcastic way. Or she'll be like men. This air is really rose. And I'm like come on there where they're supposed to be smoking. It's bad for them and it's expensive. That somebody out there is like Oh man. This really pretty woman gave me grief about smoking. So I'm GonNa Change my ways. I'm GonNa stop good so I wanted to ask you both but I came up with this question for drew but when I hear your take on this too drew do you prefer client. Who completely trust you and his hands off or somebody who's really collaborative and I know that there's multiple parts to that question because you could have somebody who's hands off who then is very unhappy. Assume or whatever like or maybe not. I don't know I don't know how that works. Well when you say collaborative you also mean overbearing and demanding. Yeah so to be totally honest. I actually love people that want to give a lot of input because the way I look at it is. This is going to be your home if the searching for a new home or if we're going to renovate your current home. There's so much that we could do in so many different directions. We can go the more you tell us the more we can cater to what you want. If somebody's just like I trust what you want What you'll do you know. They'll like the home. It'll be beautiful but it's not tailored to you and it's the little things within a home that can really speak to your to your heart and so you know. I might not know that the you know their kids love to cuddle up on the couch and watch a sectional and watch movies every Sunday night if they don't tell me that if I put just regular SOFA into a living room. It's not going to give them that. Same cuddle space that they. WanNa have so. There's always good and bad comes with somebody who gives too much feedback. Sometimes people talk themselves out of something but in the end typically like it. Yeah and I think for homeowners. It's it's special for them if they get to be a part of it because they like. They've put their own sweat energy and creativity into it. Also kids A lot of parents don't think about this but you know obviously you don't want to have the kids make all the big decisions but if you have them involved in renovation or design project even if you've already picked two colors at you're good to go with but you let the kids make the final smart makes them powers them and it makes them feel that they're part of the creative side of transform the home because it's their home to yeah. That's really smart. I just assumed that the children are as you know. I was about to say just as interested as I am. Which means not into that. The truth is is that it's not that. I'm not interested. I'm indecisive I think that's where the professionals come in because they let you guys make the decision but they've already narrowed it down for you and they're giving you three amazing options like you can't mess up with those decisions. No that that's I mean I've done this my whole life and so for somebody else to try and think that they can just come in and do what we do. It doesn't make sense. It's the same with what you've done your whole life. Whatever your assets are you know if I was to come along and try and act like I can just do that. It's never going to happen. Everybody has things are good at and people are things they need to work out so and I love it. I absolutely love. Seeing the look on homeowners faces after we've transformed a home for them and really seeing where they emotionally connect is it sometimes even just a decor piece for or a piece of photo of their families. Sometimes it's the kitchen. They've never had with an open sight. Line for family. Get together so fun for the audience to Yon Celebrity. Iou Like Brad Pitt was giving to. Genus is as makeup artist. And she's been on the road with him for over thirty years seeing them together. They're literally like a couple of kids. Giggling and laughing and teasing each other and it was amazing to see and and she's the sweetest woman in the world and she's always dreamed of having.

"Sponsors US SUPPORT UNQUALIFIED AS IRV. Been a specific items. That are really valuing right now that you didn't before this sounds cheesy but the the most valuable thing I think is time. Yeah I know it sounds in a weird way. Nobody wants to be an isolation because of corona however. The time that we're getting together is something we do not get very often or for this amount of time so to be able to have every day. We're Linden I can cook together or we can just chill together or do something I love it. I mean that's something I will never forget that the rest of my life. I will never forget that because this is given us that time together I completely agree and I think a lot of families are feeling the same thing you know as scary as the situation is. There's something beautiful about the fact that we are all in this together in our own homes in across the world completely. I've enjoyed you know just just spending time like we moved in here about a year and a half ago. I think and I've been so busy It feels like I have the time to feel like. Oh yeah this is my home in these. Are the things that I want to do? And that feels really good so you got. What are the overlooked things when you're buying a new home this is the problem in? I mean I've been dealing release. It our are my whole life. I mean since we've been renovating houses since the mid nineties and we've seen it all and we've even our shows we've we've hit over four hundred episodes so we've helped four hundred families with their houses and the biggest thing that we've noticed over the years everyone gets hooked up on the Aesthetic. And that's all they think about and then they'll start to a lot of people will focus on like the The master bathroom or the or the kitchen but they get hooked up in the aesthetic and they forget it doesn't matter how pretty your house is. It doesn't matter how new the materials are if it's not functional for a family the first day you're in that house you're going hate it because it doesn't function like you're saying with your countertops being too close together so and the one specific thing that I always find is people forget about closets. So they'll see a house for like it has a living room a kitchen bedroom. Perfect for all our family and then when they get in the house they don't have anywhere to put things or their their closets organized so one of the first things I always do when I go to look at a house is I go in and check out all the closets and I figure out is enough for what a family would want to have in the space. Audits are huge thing to make people happy that they forget about. That's really good advice as I clean out my closet is I mean in my weird that it's almost better than sex when you clean a closet and you give it or oh man. Organization is sexy. Yes yes don't weeks I'll get there. I'll be able to see the floor man. You'll need a cigarette. I think for me. I've always been even as a kid. My parents make fun of me because I've always been an organization freak when kids would get messy in their room or you know they make a mess at the kitchen table or whatever it is. They're doing or they're out playing in the mud and they come home all dirty. I was never that kid. I was always pristine when I would come home or I would lay things out and organized on the flat in the my mom's like just mess up your bed a little. Bit sometimes just. I don't know I never liked this Jonathan the same way no no I mean he. He's not messy. He's cleaned but he's more relaxed about it or he won't put as much effort into it. I can tetris the shit out of a trunk of a car. Like I'm really good at organizing space to get the most out of it and in Jonathan's not bad but I take it to an extreme so After fourteen I'll be right over to help you guys truly you totally honed in on my weakness. I've actually counted multiple weaknesses but yes organization. There's a lot of voters sports. I have these beautiful notes that someone from your team sent over. Can I ask you a couple of funny things that are on here? Okay so well. This is very sweet. You have a running love note. Yes you don't want to don't know what that out. No no no it on on iphone. Yeah sure no so did the last one but is instead of just always writing like a little love notes you know. Linda will still sneak things in it when if I go traveling for a couple of days. She'll have something like my toiletry bags to hide them so she knows. I have to go and get certain something from my laptop and then I'll find a note but don't find it. I know that you didn't change your underwear for today's she's we came up with this thing where it's a shared note and it will draw pictures so something that has happened this week. Something funny or something silly would just draw a picture of it and like really dumped lyndon knocked over One of our core pieces and broke it last night. So I'm going to do a picture. Making Fun of her. Is like a bull in a China shop. It's so amazing to see a couple of so in love and happy and I love it that you constantly nurture your relationship. What Linda has been a great influence for me? Because I'm sure you can appreciate to from your relationships or relationship is work and it's not a bad thing it's just you need to put the effort in the same way. Linda puts a ton of effort in. She's so loving and Emotionally connecting with me and I find my habit over the past years before Linda. I was always single. My brothers were the ones that were always in relationships. I was always single because I was really work focused and go all the time but she has been a nice reminder to me to actually stop that kind of pace actually connect more and I love it. I mean it's nice to be able to do these little things for somebody know that they really appreciate it. It seems like as I watch you guys. You know being so loving and sweet each other. I love the guys always touch each other. I need to touch. Yeah I know I do too but I love how considerate you both art. Yeah and when sometimes like we're short with each other because we've been rushing all day and then it's like up you know like we check ourselves and say like you wouldn't say that in that tone to anyone also of course don't say it like that to each other right. I don't like it when you catch yourself talking to each other in that way just being a little short I like to get to the point and sometimes it can just come across as asshole and so you know so for me. I think it's important always remember. Remember is receiving the information that you're giving them and this is not just in relationships as in business or anything but I can intend for something to be taken one way but people can receive it another way depending on my body language my tone especially with me having a strong tone the guy very they call the loud talker Aching come across as very aggressive and so I I always catch myself and remind myself to remember how it's received who this is. Who's the vague calling you? The voices in my head collect rare coins. Yes I do. Why are you laughing at me? I was filing everybody laughs at me. Okay this is the thing I think that you go again. I love antiques. I love old historic pieces. Linda's too but something meaning something with a history but coins got addicted. When I was a kid. Both Jonathan and I are parents would take us a Scotland. My Dad's from Scotland. And we're five years old. Our Dad got us hooked on these old stories of the nights in the fights and all the battles and he took a castles and cathedrals and we saw old coins in these showcases and it got me hooked and we run a beach. This was actually when I was ten years old we were on a beach in openness town in Scotland and on the beach were skipping stones and we came across the stones that were really smooth. Look closer in the old coins from the seventeen hundreds. Wow imagine as a ten year old adding that in a beach. You feel like you're in some Tim Burton movie or something. Where you've just found a treasure anyway. So for me I got hooked on it and now I have coins that are two thousand years old from the Roman Times out century Scotland or England. So it's cool to me I. Linda will come into the room and on the surge caressing my coins. I don't know it's weird. I've come into the room once where he's topless and just like looking at his coins coins taking pictures of I have never been topless with my coins. Plus when was that whatever you have? I have this amazing scalpel from the civil war. I have a bullet that has teeth marks in it from like some horrible amputation or something. Imagine oh my gosh but I think there's a comfort in history that I don't know I don't know if I fully impact some my head but I do. I'm I'm curious person. I like thinking especially in what we do in the entertainment industry. It feels really good to be able to put all kinds of things in perspective. Yes experiencing life in the world. And that's you know for us on our honeymoon. We went down to Ecuador and up into the Amazon rainforest. We literally took A boat two hours up. The river connected over onto this little canoe when another hour and a half up the river in a small town. There's nobody around us just a small village. Yeah the the reason we were doing this too. Is You know. We want to see different cultures. We Wanna experience different ways of life and and try different foods and I think it makes you a more rounded person when you have more of that world the experience and it's especially important for kids. I think teaching empathy and just world perspective Was that for the we organization. Yes do research so we organization There's a lot of great work domestic and abroad and when we raise money at our wedding to give back to this village it was actually through the organization. They were helping them. Find a new water source run new pipelines to this village. They'd never had running water and bathrooms. They'd always just gone out into the bushes and these are families where they have like nine kids and their entire time. They've ever been there. They've always gone out to the Bush to use the bathroom and so we were actually giving them their first toilet their first working sink. Yeah what we love about them is that they. They aren't just about handouts. It's all about a hand up. And they really empower the communities that they work with to to thrive and and build things for themselves instead of just handing the money if our listeners are interested can they go to we dot Org..

"Hey you guys. I was late because I was just finishing up your wedding video. Yes I got A. Hey Hey dear listeners. We are here with Lyndon Drew Scott From Property. Brothers and they have their own podcast. I want to talk to all about that in a second but I really need to talk to you about your wedding. That looked unbelievable and I am. I'm pretty we talk a lot about weddings on the show. I always feel like it's a time when people kinda reveal their hand. If there's going to be drama. Yeah that's usually when it happens question for you looking at the two of us. She looked like a Bridezilla. Or do I look like a Zilla. You totally look like the true salon. But I do love Linda that you made the decision to not have a maid of honor. I couldn't decide so indecisive it is weird and I have four other siblings and ten girlfriends from high school and I think when we started planning we thought okay screw tradition will keep what we like and then we'll just do what we feel. I mean at the end of the day tradition there there certain traditions like I work killed. I'm Scottish and we did a a Chinese tea ceremony because Linda Chinese but aside from some things like that that we really love the. We'll make our own traditions. I mean we thought you know a lot of saying ten grooms groomsmen and bridesmaids. That's ridiculous right now. Our wedding you can have one or none at your wedding. Maybe you don't have anybody that wants to be your your bridesmaids groomsmen. We have ten people that would love to join. Us forced forced but we made it. It was like actually like an eight day event. Our wedding we had We were in Italy the southeast of Italy region for eight days and the the Borgo idea where we have. The wedding was stunning. If felt like we were the only people there. The way it's laid out every little nook and cranny every corner is private so you barely saw any other guests time. Once we get out of here we go back to Italy. Oh Yeah it's magical. Did you cry at all by the way when you watch the wedding special no I? I have a hard time cry. I don't know do you guys. Good criers bad. I feel like for my health. I should cry more frequently. Oh you're a bad criers and you don't cry. Don't yeah I do. I think I I'm I don't cry at everything but I like to escape the one. I'm watching a show or a movie. That is you know romantic or emotional or if something tragic happens I can cry but I cry watching priors by watching this incident or commercials. Commercials are the worst but if I see someone else you know what I'm Gonna I'm GonNa get because we have our new show on. Hdtv celebrity IOU. That will make you cry. People watched the first episode. Brad Pitt. Giving back to this woman that he loves. It says makeup artist. If you don't cry when you watch that you have no heart you have no soul back. Yes lael because then back to hell you go told this story before but one of my worst rejection's like in terms of like auditioning and not getting a role there's all kinds of there's all kinds of trophies stories but one time my feedback was that. I didn't have enough soul haunted me how do I how do I gain more? What do I do that trick? You have those beautiful big is go and then you can use a trucker mouth. You know the the thing that I love though about your acting is that you obviously have comedy chops. I mean and you're in the moment and you and you have that sarcastic that were very sarcastic assist in the family but also you can play dramatic roles. You Complain Motion. I've seen what you've done at least from our perspective watching what you do you have that in you so you can at least pretend really well you crying you can hear it and feel it through your podcast. Yes I wish all of the guests complimented me in such a nice way like right off the bat. Thank you guys. So you're still an asshole but as an actor so when you guys you guys met in Toronto at Fashion Week is that. Yeah Okay can you tell me about this experience? How sparks flew? Who Approach to out through the line? You tell you okay so drew. Jonathan were celebrity guests models for this fashion show. Which was the store that was their wardrobe sponsor property brothers and my sister and I were there volunteering. Helping out our friend who was organizing the event and literally the first thing. I think I've told you this once but when you guys were walking down the catwalk I literally turned to my sister and I was like the.
