Broadway Will Not Disclose Box Office Grosses

"You probably know usually the broadway league releases figures every monday about box office grosses. They're not releasing those this year. They they've said stuff about like well you know plays are staggered is not the same. Also there's There's reduced reduced shows for a lot of shows. Not everybody's doing eight shows a week so we don't know i do know that waitress that the night it opened they did make an announcement that waitress itself had broken All the previous broadway records for single performance ticket sales. They made it almost two hundred thousand dollars in ticket sales But besides that all when i was at passover tusa empty seats When i was at hagerstown. I didn't see a single one and i'm sure that last night i think the odds are very good. That every seat was filled last night. They would have been sold out all the people who wanted to be part of that history. How it will continue that way.

"lin manuel" Discussed on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah: Ears Edition

"Winning composer. Lyricist and actor. Lin manuel miranda. He's going to talk about the story behind his first broadway. Musical and now feature film in the heights lin. Manuel miranda welcome to the daily social distancing. Show are always a pleasure so everything you right. Turns to gold everything you do seems to be a smash success. You will now here on the show to talk about a book about the film. That many people are seeing as the vaccine to the world that we've been living in for so long feels like now. The book about the successful movie about the successful brewery play is now also going to be a success. Tell me what this book is about. And most importantly if i read this book will i be able to also make hamilton can do a hamilton. It's -struction guide is precisely the underappreciated historical figure and no. I think it's funny actually. Today is the fourteenth anniversary of us. Winning the tony for best musical this musical has been in my life since i was nineteen years old and so it's a lot to cover in a book. My co writer. Jeremy says this is like the godfather part two of the books because it goes before hamilton it has like the stories before hamilton. Including in after. Because it's it's so much about meeting. The collaborator is that i would go on to work with hamilton on. But also he follows all these other journeys like chris jackson. Who played any in the original show in please. Mr soft. The opposite might be doggone guy in the movie. He met his wife when she was playing nina and he was bending workshop. I remember their chemistry read when we when they held hands. But it wasn't in my script that they like how old they are actually falling in love and real time in myself and so like so much of my life is bound up in the journey of it and so i do annotations on the lyrics of all of the songs. Jeremy sort of tells lots of stories kiara micro writer contributes essays specifically about specific moments in the show transitions to the film so we just try to cover as much as we. Can it such an insane story that i feel like can never be replicated because yeah you all in one thousand nine year old student. Who's who's just like learning about this world and then you go like man. I have this musical in my head. And there's this thing i want to try and do and what i what i love to see is is the journey because like you said earlier about the godfather and then the story before he's like sometimes people will experience your work in a non linear fashion. I'm one of those people. So i wasn't around for in the heights new york or anything so now i experienced hamilton. I was like wow. This is amazing. You know he did something before this. And you go and you go backwards and then you come forward with it. What i've always found fascinating how you try and break the idea of what the thing is. And who's supposed to be in the thing you know you do that with hamilton. I mean people were freaking out at some point. They're like aaron brown black man. How can this be in you. Know what the sisters all of different races but the story never broke. I'd love to know way you thought to yourself. You know what we can tell stories and we can include people and we can change the way we present things in the world and it will be successful or did you doubt that it could be successful. I think i doubted it at every phase but your belief in the idea has to be stronger than what the world is proposing right like your job as an artist to right. What's missing. Like i did not see a future for myself in musical theater. The other thing. I'll add to like that. Initial impulse back. When i was in college was like it was the first. Latin pop boom was happening. It was like martin like in leather pants and a couple of life. Mark anthony who. We all loved singing in english. For the first time it was like enrica glazed. Yes and i remember being like oh all those guys are really hot. I'm not going to be another lane. That has not open to me so again. It's about like writing what's missing with with hamilton. I honestly was surprised that people were surprised about the casting because it was a hip hop in aren be musical like you can tell very clearly like that my inspiration for what i'm pulling is an all white cast. You'd think i messed up like someone someone messed up along the way ron and so within the heights again like is it was just like how many of us can i get on the board like. That's that's the goal is like we're all gonna be in this thing and can we tell stories that are not about like latinos from the fifties with knives in their hands which was incredibly overrepresented in musical theater. Weirdly applying fifties gangsters. Oh man that's hilarious. Because in south. Africa was me for like most of my tv. Anything's anything. Everyone ross me to do in south africa. It was like the stereotype of people who look at me. Them the colored gang. So that's what they are. Trevor you're going to be the gangsta and the next thing that'd be like trump. this is a new role. You can play a reformed gangster and they'll be like for this one you you're looking at someone who might be against it. Used to be gangster. Yeah it was always gang related in some way shape or form even even though you're somebody who's always challenge these things even though you've always you've always strive to write people increase these stories. You haven't been immune from criticism and what was really interesting and beautiful tree was your response to some of the criticism that you got in the heights in terms of color is in. You know some people said. Hey lynn we love your work. We love what you're doing but man it feels like there's so many latinos who are not not represented here you got all these f. latinos who could be in the movie and who on the movie and you responded and it was interesting. You didn't say like. I can do whatever i want. You know. this is my story. I will like hey. We're listening and it was interesting that you you basically said i'm trying to make this world and i can do better and i felt defensive when you'll be enough linda so much black people singing on broadway. I'm doing to lynn. You tearing down one of our own but you. I honestly would love to know how you approach that criticism and what you think you could do better because you responded to it so meaningfully. Yeah well again like i. Don't i can't legislate how people feel like again. All i want is for this neighborhood to feel seen and there's a segment of it that doesn't feel seen and they're saying that like you have to acknowledge that and let it in and you know all i can do is learn from it and promised to do better again. There's so much effort. Luckily that in the movie the beef really was specifically dark-skinned after latinos in leading roles in those leading principal roles and like. Why can't in this. And i totally understand that and i and i receive it and i just have to do better on the next one but again like that is we took so much love and care and filmed on location and and so like it's like i'm happy to take the learning from it and bring that to the next one and also holds space to be proud of this thing. We made that has been my life. So i have to be able to hold both those things because they both true like you are hearing from this community. That feels under-represented. That is hurting paradox. Yeah and and like we made this thing. And i'm tired of this thing and we don't get to make things like this much so like i have to just be able to hold it all as a creative. I wonder if that is something that becomes just a space occupied in occupied in your mind or does it become a bird. And how do you prevent it from becoming a burden you know like how. How do you live in a space where you go no. I'm always trying to tell the best story. I'm always trying to have everybody involved. But i'm not trying to be like specific about you..

Golden Globes 2021: Complete list of nominees

"Let's start off with the major categories. First of all, for best picture. For the Golden Globes. They break it down. Best picture drama and best picture, music or comedy. So let's start off with best picture drama in which the nominees are Nomad Land. This is the amazing movie with Frances McDormand. Who, you know, play. Somebody who's her life is sort of falling apart and she gets in a van and hits the road and lives in RV camps and recreational areas taking on you know little seasonal jobs along the way. It zest a very sweet and very thoughtful, touching movie. I think this is going to be the big winner for tonight. You know People love Frances McDormand. I think that this is gonna have a lot of Lot of success at the Golden Globes tonight. It will be up against the trial of the Chicago Seven, which, if Nomad land doesn't win trial of the Chicago Seven is going to win. This is the Aaron Sorkin. The written and directed production about the famous Chicago seven trial that took place in Chicago 50 years ago. The Carrie Mulligan movie promising young woman Is a revenge thriller, also an outstanding films nominated for tonight and also the Anthony Hopkins movie called The Father. Those air. Your nominees were best Drama for performances in the dramatic category. For actresses. The nominees are Violet Davis on Drew a day, Vanessa Kirby, Frances McDormand and Carrie Mulligan. For best actors in the drama. The nominees are Riz Um, Ed Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Hopkins. I think the winners are going to be Frances McDormand and I just I don't know how Chadwick Boseman Doesn't win. He's amazing in the movie Ma Rainey's black bottom. But you know the fact that he passed away the young age and nobody knew that he was fighting cancer. I think that probably is going toe play into the Planted the decision making also for best movie, musical or comedy. The nominees are Boer at subsequent movie film Hamilton. When they put together a television version of Hamilton in the put it on Disney. Plus, this got nominated. The motion picture called Music was nominated, as was the comedy with Andy Sandberg, Palm Springs. And the Ryan Murphy directed production. The prom. Which has Meryl Streep and has just AH, whole variety of very talented actors. That's also nominated for best picture as well. I kind of have a feeling that Borat is going to want to ping the winner tonight in the musical or comedy category. For best actress in a motion picture Maria Buckler Cova, who is placed Borat's daughter in Borat. Subsequent movie film Kate Hudson from music. And, uh, Anya Taylor, Joy dominated for the movie called Emma for best performance by an actor in a motion picture, musical or comedy. Sasha Baron Cohen is nominated James Corden from the prom Lin Manuel Miranda from Hamilton Dev Patel for the personal history of David Copperfield and Andy Sandberg. For Palm Springs again. I think it's going to be a kind of in a reverend pick, but I think Sasha Baron Cohen could wind up being the winner. Now. The Golden Globes also give out

Amanda Gorman's books jump to bestsellers after inaugural poem

"The dawn is hours before we knew it. Somehow we do it. Somehow we've weathered in witnessed a nation that isn't broken but simply unfinished we the successors of a country and the time were a skinny black girl. Descended from slaves and raised by a single mother can dream of becoming president only to find herself reciting for one that was amanda gorman the inaugural youth poet lawyer it reading from her poem. At the hill we climb which she read at joe biden's inauguration alexandra alter profiled gorman and interviewed her joining us now to talk a little bit more about that hey alexandra hey pamela so this was a really exciting week in washington but i most loved about the news events. This week was that a poet was the breakout star of the inauguration ceremony on wednesday. Amanda gorman was the youngest inaugural poet and us history. She joins a very elite class of poets. Only been a handful of poets who have performed it including robert frost my ngelo elizabeth richard blanco. So she really brought a lot to this performance. And when i spoke to her what was really interesting to me was. She felt enormous pressure. Not just because of the size of the audience she was going to be addressing. Tens of millions of people potentially watching the events at home but because of the state of the country she felt real responsibility to present a poem that reflected joe biden's inaugural theme of america united and. She said they didn't give her any specific guidelines but they said that's the three million inauguration but she also really wanted to address. What has happened recently in the country. Particularly the partisan divisions that we've seen the political violence the effects of the pandemic. It's a really dark moment. And so she was kind of trying to counter johnston to forces the potential for unity. But also these deep divisions that we're seeing in the country now so interestingly. She was really struggling with the poem. The inaugural committee reached out to her late december. She had a few weeks to work on it and was kind of she said it's like it felt like climbing a mountain would do a few versus a day and then on january six. We all watched across the country as the unfolded at the capital. There was the insurrection. There and rioters stormed the capital. And amanda gorman at that point had written about half of her poem and she stayed up late into the night and finished it because she just felt this urgency. And so you're there are verses in the poem that reflect what we saw that day the other thing that she said that was interesting about how she prepared to write it was. She said she always starts with historical research so she studied speeches from leaders who really brought their countries together. In times of crisis she looked at speeches by winston. Churchill abraham lincoln martin luther king junior and she listened to music that inspired her including the musical hamilton. There are a couple of hamilton references within the poem. That some people caught including lin-manuel miranda who was very appreciative of her poetry. So it's been incredible to see their response to her work after she gave this really kind of inspiring performance her books. She has two books coming out this year. Actually three because they're releasing the poem she wrote as a standalone and she has now the number one and number two books on amazon and this is a poet who is twenty two years old and she's preparing to publish her debut collection. This fall so she's gone incredibly quickly from somebody who had following and was pretty well known in the poetry world to kind of national literary star and one other thing that i loved about her performance and her approach to it which she talked about how she felt like she was representing not just her own words but representing poetry itself representing american poetry and y you know it was important to have poetry part of the ceremony. She said when. I spoke to her now more than ever. The united states needs an inaugural poem. Poetry is typically the touchstone that we go back to when we have to remind ourselves of the history that we stand on the future that we stand for so i thought it was lovely that she felt that she was standing up in front of the capital. Two weeks after the insurrection took place kind of representing poetry as a form that can unite the country.

"It's very interesting. I don't know how I got sucked into this, but Sun Lin Manuel Miranda is in this He goes and visits on Walter Mark Otto because he's doing Hamilton in Puerto Rico and he grew up watching him. You have to see how starstruck Lin Manuel Miranda is he was with his father goes to visit him. He's just like looking at him in with such awe. Very, very fast, and he almost seems like he would have been Could have fit in as a character in 19 eighties wrestling, you know, very theatrical. You know, the cape, the hair. All of it was just a smoke. I mean, wow, sorcerer. You know what, Amy? Yes, Any wore makeup and he jewelry was over the top. And you know, it's really sad because he seems like a very sweet and kind hearted person who wants to spread love and joy. And then this guy that he really trusted who was on basically managing his career ended up ripping him off to the point where this guy couldn't even use his own name. His birth given name. Because he signed over the rights to it because he didn't understand what he was signing. So anyway, it's called on What did I say? It was called Show Mutual More legend of Walter Mercado, because that's how he would end his hour long segments by saying, you know, in a little little bit sound like of a Richard Simmons vibe. Yeah, that there and then suddenly Gone? Yep. And then he had some health problems and I don't know. It was just a very interesting watch. I'm all over the documentaries lately. Donna, what's I Don't know, man. I just finished the Betty Broderick thing. I watched something the other day. I think I was telling you guys about I'm probably not going to stick with it. That was a CBS special. I don't know. I just I like real life stories. Thank you Think it's ever since you watch the Joker or Joko Joker? You think so? Maybe that's what turned you. Don't you do a review for either for Jason and Alexis? Or was it for your show on? "I apologize for my part in this moral failure. The moral failure this Hamilton a moral failure, I guess in his mind. It is sorry for not pushing harder and faster for us to speak is self evident. Truth under the Hamilton better now, the Hamilton banner. Has to speak the self evident truths on behalf of black lives matter. Talk about kneeling. Just come to me so much about the black and brown artists who created revolutionised and change the world with culture, music and language of hip hop. That's that's pretty apparent that's true, Hamilton would not have existed, but for the efforts of many people of many cultures and colors. Around this country. So okay, continue the idea of the show. You know it doesn't exist. It doesn't exist that black and brown artists in our cast crew and production team who breathed life into the story every time it's performed. And while we live in a country where black people are under attack from emboldened white what? Whoa! Emboldened white supremacy. This is where you lose me. This is where you begin, and I guess Disney is probably thinking about whether or not they're going to include this in any statement that they might put on the front of this this film Hamilton that they're streaming on their service. I think they might want to look at something that is a little more factually accurate. I'm just saying, Perhaps that'd be a good idea. Lin Manuel Miranda, posting his thoughts about black lives matter as it relates to Hamilton police brutality, centuries a systemic, anti black racism centuries. You need to do a little more work on your history That happened after after this. Just maybe study the last 40 or 50 years after us in words, indeed, to stand up for a fellow to do the work to be better allies and have each other's backs. Everybody's back. I think we should have everybody's back. I'm one of those people who kind of believes all lives matter, including the unborn. Including the most frail among us, I kind of think that's the way it's supposed to go. That's what we were taught attached to this post. Our list of resources organizations doing hard necessary work in this and I won't be posting those I'm just saying, this is what I think is going to happen to Hamilton. I think Disney will come out with a statement and they will say we're not removing it, but we will offer an educational Preview of the film where you can see of the discussion of the historical importance and the historical problems with Alexander Hamilton. Now Disney If you do this, if if Alexander Hamilton offends you and anyone out there who who feels Alexander Hamilton offends them. I'm appreciative of you checking us. Chris will be back Monday. I'll be here holding down the fort until such time keeping an eye on me much everything. There are a lot of stories out there that even with Congress, not Session. There's a lot going on and a lot going on outside of trying to keep our eye on the stories that mean a lot to you and mean a lot to everybody. In this country. The violence is a big story. We're going to get to the violence that popping up in some major cities in very big ways. And the fact that the president has offered to help and I don't see anybody raising their hands were also talking about the woke Olympics. Then we'll take your nominations for awarding someone or something. The woke Olympics Award What is a woke Olympics Award? It's what we confer on people who are just too woke for the rest of us. They're people who are just bending in field to the black lives matter movement, the people who would have raised our entire history the people who want everything they disagree with removed. And they want to be the arbiters of all of it. We were talking just a little bit ago about Hamilton and how the woke nation the spending Easters have jumped up and ordered demanded that Disney take down Hamilton. It must go. And I'm sure this is scaring Lin Manuel Miranda because he's made a great living and is now a superstar in Broadway and apparently now in film. Because of his play Hamilton, which I have not seen, and I'm hoping to see it on Disney. I'm wondering if Disney is going to do a gone with the wind. Are they going to pull it temporarily? I think that's probably what's going to happen. Just my guest. I have a friend who's a critic, and she may know she's seen it already. He saw a couple of weeks ago before Disney released this film, but I wonder if they're going to pull a gun with the wind. I wonder if the idea here they're going to get all this press now. Not that they didn't have a whole lot of press on this on this film before the controversy, But this may will get additional press in the in the tens of millions of dollars as we all talk about it. But I'm guessing Disney is going to stay well, we're not going to remove it, but we're going to do the same thing that was done with gone with the wind. We're going to put a four minute historical discussion, a disclaimer on the front and I'm betting it sounds a lot like what Lin Manuel Miranda posted on Social media. I'm betting that they, Hamilton Twitter account, and the video that was posted by Miranda is going to sound almost exactly like what Disney will post and this was Lin Manuel Miranda, saying that we stand on the side of justice and black lives matter. Maybe you should look into that organization a little bit, See what they do with the money. He who's behind black lives matter. See where they are putting their political Push. And who they're supported by and who they are supporting. But I think Lin Manuel Miranda is going to come back and say something like this is the writer of the show, take responsibility and apologize for my partner Moral failure..

"The Disney plus Streaming service has just released the movie version of Hamilton, the musical more than a year earlier than planned. I'll have a review. This is fresh air. This is fresh air. I'm TV critic David Bianculli. The trajectory of Hamilton. The musical from the very start has been phenomenal. It's playwright and composer Lin Manuel Miranda first unveiled a snippet of Hamilton in 2009 surprising and delighting the Obama's when performing it during a night of poetry and music at the White House. The full length musical premiered six years later, Joseph perhaps public theater, then moved uptown to Broadway later that same year in 2015. Miranda and Hamilton smashed box office records and one of Pulitzer, some Grammys and 11 Tony awards, including best musical, and in June 2016 shortly before Miranda and some of his fellow original co stars left the show. "They're like, bro. All you need is your Christopher, right? Like pretty much, right? Yeah. OK, well, here's righty. Was that it wasn't a long, difficult process, a process of any adult black person could do by themselves, so to act like it's impossible. Black voter IDs are capable of doing it on their own. That's racism. That's low expectation. Racism. And that's where I see modern day racism in 2020 coming at me, It's not some guy anarchist on a mountain somewhere with a with a white hood on it's a little college grad. You know, white kid anti fur with a mask on with a black mask, all acting the fool talking about. I'm not people to get an idea and vote. That's the racism lesson in 2020. That's what's going on. It's on the left. It's on the left. I love it. I have said all of these things over the past couple of years, but to hear them all strung together in two minutes and 20 seconds so perfectly. I just thought that would warn some people's hearts. Speaking of warming some people's hearts of here into the Broadway musicals. I want to play a clip from Lin Manuel Miranda. He's the guy who created Hamilton, and it's nontraditional casting its they'd cast people of color is the white people, which, if it were reversed, would burn down Broadway. And now, even if it were a cartoon would burn down the cartoons. But Listen to Lin Manuel Miranda talk about institutional racism in Broadway in the theater. And then he says of a silver lining. You should never say the silver lining of the corona virus pandemic, but He thinks there's a silver lining to all of this. Cut. Seven. Go ahead. I find it encouraging that in this moment where we're discussing systemic racism on a hole in this country were also discussing it in our particular silo. And why doesn't the audience to Hamilton look as diverse as the cast of Hamilton? Why doesn't the crew backstage look ATT versus the cost of Hamilton and having meaningful conversations? In that regard. In this moment, where nothing is business, as usual, is a silver lining to the pandemic that we're in. That's a silver lining all the death all the destruction to the economy and lives. It is a silver lining. Ah, whole bunch of rich Broadway guys can sit around ago their racism. Really bad, huh? Yeah. Racism spans. Well, I feel better. They convert you signal to each other here is a little pro. Tip. Lin Manuel Miranda, You're making tens, If not hundreds of millions of dollars off of Hamilton. You could I don't know. Give tickets away. If you wanted the audience to look a certain way, go give the tickets. We don't sell them gave the tickets away to people that look like what you want to perform for and senses your production. You can hire whoever the hell you want in the crew. The question isn't why is society making you hire a white crew? The question is wire you hiring a white crew. I always wanted it. Well, it's a societal problem. You're the racist. You're the one doing these. You're the one making these decisions. Lastly, just a reminder of how awful Rachel Maddow is. Let's just remember the jobs report almost five million jobs. "And I love joy said yesterday. You you will do it people doing, and we will not hear any holding. Our knows it will be Christmas morning. Every time you mentioned that name whoever that name is. Right. Although we have a disturbing number of friends who are Tulsi supporters. Oh, I don't know how how no Botts. She's sorry. She is the Jill Stein of the cycle. Why would a democrat put out a video going on? We need to move on now than we don't seem to see the a report, I'm like. Yeah. Those like last week I tweeted when people to judge his friend lin-manuel Miranda's started falling. Squeak? And I thought this makes you the most relatable person. I know. Yeah. Let's someone tweeted this scandal for you. But then like somebody like me, he's my number three behind Tulsi and Bernie. Toasties anyway. Because of course, bought the cheap seats because. Well, look at me. So does basement money. Yeah. Well, that means like I might not even got into meter. So guess what? I did I bowled my way to the front of the question line. My wedding. Komo's mom. Almost. Yeah. That's how you got to look at the taco bar is coming through Trump's Islam. Have your mom? Yes. It was a little bit of a hostage situation. Hopefully, everyone saw that everybody in LA behind you notice. That was the talk of the party that you're dancing by yourself by the pool after we read are. The sad girl, dancing alone. There was a coup people dancing at the end of the pool you should have found your way to them. Yeah. You were in front of the DJ. Okay. Yeah. But I saw I saw my chances winnowing getting to actually, but they host who wasn't. So I said I got to and she remembered I said, we got to be on Larry King together the night marriage equality passed, and I came and I came out on TV. And they said do you. Remember, we then she was like, oh my God. Yes. A nice. I remember we double Team Dennis Prager on him saying, you know. What do you call it only a man and a woman should be adopted, whatever. So, but anyway, but it was great. And I just so I was asking her. I said, you know, it be like, oh, you're the black Hillary, you're the female Obama. What I said, I obviously I mean, I'm just I've been a huge fan of hers since forever and always been such a fierce advocate for us here out here for quality and all that. But you know, there's been this huge backlash since two thousand eight obviously of racism, sexism, homophobia, and you know, and I I just said please Madam President. How do we get back? How do we get back and she just gave a great answer? And she was saying it's always been there bubbling under the surface. You know? It's just Trump has what's the word? I mean, not just enabled it incited this to such a degree. We got we got to do whatever we can put that genie back in the bottle. Peter Dana Goldberg at the HR. Oh, he'll be here. Now, I heard Dana was great. Yes. I heard from someone else that she was great. We'll be here in the eight o'clock hour on my God. That's so fantastic..

"The fan is a minor by the way and was immediately ejected. This is two years of of home games that he has no longer allowed to attend cousins claims that the Celtics fan had used racially offensive language toward him the Celtics investigation. There are ready. Video review interviewing a fans. Police security guards was not able to conclude the use of racially offensive language, but was able to conclude that he was verbally abusive towards the Golden State bench. That's how they came upon the idea of a two year ban. We saw this earlier in the season Oklahoma City thunder. Russell Wilson getting into an altercation with a jazz fan that fan banned for life. Is that a better choice? Now, we do know that the jazz fan allegedly was connected to a social media account that was immediately deleted that contained racist commentary, and that there were multiple witnesses that were able to corroborate Russell Westbrook's statements in the case of this kid because he's a minor Celtics fan if they weren't able to conclude racial slurs is it the right choice to just do three years versus a lifetime. Yeah. Yeah. Because there's no witnesses corroborate the story. If you go to either of these situations, you want to have some safety in knowing that the judgment that you're living down is correct. But at the end of the day, let me tell you what I care more about is that there's a overlying respect what a fan pays. I don't care how much because this whole thing that I've heard from even respected voices talking heads. You say you pay the money, you could say what you want never heard that. I'm not. The guys played Alexander Hamilton. Away or study step it in on the night that I pay for those tickets and is not delivering like Lin Manuel Manuel. Miranda would right. Do that. You know, what I'm going to be? You know, what I'm gonna be banned for Broadway. Yes. Without sounds like a great show, by the way. Musical making. Absolutely. So tell me and banned from Broadway singers. I'm just kidding. To me. It's a no brainer. Like, what fans have become is to brazen were they've lost logic. Yes. They can walk in here because perspective and the lack of consequence and consequence now plays a role, whether they get these wrong or right now, these fans are going to be hopped up on whatever and thinking that they are he man because they can't be touched by his players. There's no consequence of Boston other guys think about it when they want to go out there and carry on like clowns. And I like that. Well, and I it makes me sad when anyone is a racist. But it's especially sad when it's a minor. You know, that that is someone who has clearly been stray by family friends teachers whoever's influencing him, I presume it's a him which is a guess unfair properly assumption. But. You know, it makes me extra sad that that person at that age would feel entitled to those things when an adult man or woman believes that they have the right to say those things because of paying for a ticket. But when it's a kid, it's even worse. So I do agree though, without the conclusive evidence. And because it's a minor who hopefully will learn a lesson and change or change behavior at least two years feels appropriate to me, but you're not allowed the right to attend these games. You're not old the right to treat other. But I'm rich rich. You could do anything. Too many times national athletes. Yeah. So the Celtics released a statement, and and they have made that decision. I think we'll see more of this. And I honestly think it's a good thing because it doesn't just effect the players, but the fans when you're in a stadium, and that's happening around you it absolutely takes away from from the game. Well pharma fan of let's take it back to Utah. The issue with Russell Westbrook. If I'm a fan of the Utah, Jazz, a resident of Salt Lake City, and I hear that the reputation there is because players have said this the reputation is it kids kind of racist in Utah. I'm not saying they're racist. But I'm saying it's kind of racist. Right players are saying that and I know who I am as a resident of Salt Lake City. I know where my heart is I know that it's pure it's genuine out of a race boat in my body. My phantom takes a hit. Absolutely. Because of these classes that come in and behave like this. So you want wanna clean it? And this is Boston and the reputation there isn't great either for this kind of stuff from. From what we've heard from players who played in Boston..

Yeah. Now, I in in defensive Hamilton Lin Manuel. Miranda said he'd go back to Puerto Rico. He would do the show in Reno play his role Hamilton in the show and all the money would go back toward his homeland. That's cool. No problem there. But it's just the whole place with was full of political cronies at five thousand five thousand dollars a ticket is what they paid.
