Is There Civilian Control of the Chinese Military? Author David Goldman Explains
"Welcome back to one on one with David Goldman. David, you mentioned the military, the hubris potentially of the Chinese of the people's ironically titled Liberation Army. Is there, let me ask you, we're supposed to have civilian control of the military and democracies. Is that civilian control of the military in the communist regime that is China is Xi Jinping? Does he have a grip on the military brass? Or could that be a hot headed incident where one of his generals gets a little bit out of control and a Cold War gets hot very quickly? Fujian pink spent his first years in power firing a lot of generals and putting his people in place. None of the analysts I know think that a military coup against Xi Jinping or a breakaway military operation is likely, of course, and that opaque system, we never really know what's going on. But the military has gotten all the things it likes. It's gotten a massive development budget for its missile forces for its air force. They've improved that considerably. They've got dozens of diesel electric submarines, they're building new aircraft carriers. So if you're a Chinese soldier, you'd probably be pretty pleased with the kind of support that the government is giving you a lot more than say if you were in American soldier looking at the kind of support the Biden administration isn't giving to our armed forces. Right,

WSJ Piece Teaches How to Read the Truth in Chinese Propaganda
"With this fantastic piece in the Wall Street Journal showing you how to dig through propaganda. How the Communists How Communist Now the Chinese Communist Party, CCP, How the communist Soviet Union how they work and manipulating the media where there's always an element of truth in his story. You know what it make stuff up out of thin air. You may say, Dan why they're Communists. They do whatever they want. If you don't like it, they kill you. Yeah. But they can't kill everybody at the same time. I mean, seriously, they do have to have some people alive like that's the whole point of having a country. Right. So once in a while you got to feed him a nugget a truth. Little small sliver nugget of truth, and you just manipulate the story. So if you read the story upside down, and you learn to read these propaganda pieces upside down, you will get to the truth. Eventually, they gave a great example. You know, Chinese propaganda say, you know, brave Chinese Communist People's Liberation Army saves eight miners and mining accident Then you find out later the Chinese government caused the accident do faulty safety standards and 150 miners died. Only eight were saying you're like, Well, there was a small nugget of truth in there, but the rest of the story was total bull. You get the rest.

Remembering the Tiananmen Square Crackdown
"Which came 32 years ago today, when hundreds possibly thousands, died when China's Communist Party had used the People's Liberation Army to put a bloody end to the student led pro democracy protests. 1989. The date is always a flashpoint and nowhere is this more sensitive than the restive region of Hong Kong. Already a prominent pro democracy activist, Xiao Hong Kong, has been arrested by police there for promoting unauthorized assembly. The authorities say this year's event has been banned due to covid social distancing restrictions. Hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong residents would normally packed Victoria Park in a late night vigil. The BBC's Danny Vincent has this report from Hong Kong. For more than three decades. Ivy lie has marked every anniversary of the June 4th crackdown. She keeps copies of newspaper articles from that day under her bed, she does not forget. Hong Kong is the only place on Chinese soil that officially commemorates those that died in 1989. When the Army opened fire on pro democracy protesters. It's murder. It's a bloody massacre of Tiananmen Square. This year, the police have banned an annual visual marking the day they threatened to imprison anyone who defies covid 19 restrictions. Ivy becomes emotional at the thought of not being able to attend. Activists believe the pandemic is being used as an excuse to silence dissent. That the which, over the years I think that not being able to go to Victoria Park, Hong Kong people will be very upset. Yeah.
China Sends 25 Warplanes Into Taiwan's Air Defense Zone, Taipei Says
"Is very far from unheard of for chinese military aircraft to buzzed the skies around the time on yesterday. However the people's liberation army air force stepped such provocations up a notch. Twenty-five chinese jets a record number into taiwan's air defense identification zone. This hefty squadron included eighteen of china's chengdu j ten fighters and four nuclear capable h six k bombers taiwan's air force scrambled their own planes to shoot the intruders off. But it seems reasonable to suppose that they will be back on. Joined with more on this by isabel hilton. Ceo at china dialogue isabelle twenty. Five aircraft is a fairly significant gesture by china. But this kind of stunt in itself isn't unusual is. How often do they do this. Well particularly this year. They'd been doing it a quite lot. They've been doing it. You know several times a week in recent times and its its military chest beating over fairly unpleasant kind I don't think it means that an invasion is imminent but it certainly it. It has a lot of advantages from the chinese perspective. It keeps the population on edge. It forces the china. The taiwanese air force to respond in some way they got so tired of scrambling a late last year that they decided that they would just monitor from the ground but again you know if you step the pressure up again then then scrambling has to happen. So it it. It's a long campaign of attrition and it's also testing the biden administration so there's a lot of probing testing and chest-beating beating happening at the moment.
War Games Suggest the U.S. Will Lose Fast If It Confronts China
"People's liberation army and the chinese communist party is clearly preparing for war with the united states. You never know that because we're too busy worrying about peppy. The pew and gina carano and the mandalorian we're not occupied anything like global thermonuclear war. God forbid we did something like that. So here's the first screenshot about what a were. I want to be clear on this. Given our current posture. Our current force alignment how we're prepared for global warfare. Now how these experts think it would go. Here's a quote from a military analysts. Talking about what would happen in are wargames now. It says at that point. The trend that are wargames was not just that we were losing but we were losing faster. We do these war games all time with china. Now we're losing quick. After the two thousand eighteen i distinctly remember one of our gurus of war gaming standing in front of the air force secretary and chief of staff and telling them that we shouldn't play this war game scenario chinese attack on taiwan again. Because we know what's going to happen. The definitive answer is if the us military doesn't change course with lose fast.

China steps up threats to reclaim Taiwan
"China's rise as a great power it showing more and more attention towards reclaiming territory that long regarded as its own witness. Beijing's conduct in the south china sea. The east china sea hong kong the himalayan border with india. And of course. Taiwan fifteen chinese planes were detected flying into taiwan southwest air defense identification zone or on sunday taiwan's ministry of national defense said sunday's incursion involved twelve fighter jets to anti-submarine aircraft and reconnaissance plane. This comes less than twenty four hours. After the people's liberation army air force flew thirteen combat aircraft including chinese bomber planes capable of carrying nuclear weapons into the same region that was from the south korean english language. Every rung account of china's recent intimidation of the lovely liberal democracy of nearly twenty four million people. now one of my guest today has warned the australian defence department. Beijing is highly likely to attempt to take over taiwan using all means short of war as early as twenty. Twenty four ponder that a chinese takeover of taiwan by twenty twenty four. Linda jacobson is the specialist who delivered this assessment to the morrison government. A few months ago linder is founding director and deputy chair of china matters and she joins us from finland. Hello linda welcome back to between the lines. Thank you for having me again. Tom and joining us in sydney. Is natasha qassam. A research fellow at the low institute by the natasha. Thanks for having me tom now. Linda recently published. China matter explores policy brief. Summarize succinctly or faces tom. We've been talking for a long time. That taiwan is possibly explosive issue in our region. I'm saying it again now. Because the president xi jinping has made it clear that contrary to his predecessors he does not think we can leave the unresolved political status of taiwan to future generations. He wants to see movement towards what the chinese say reunification of the mainland and taiwan during his lifetime. That's the first point. The second one is that as of late. Probably because of some of the recent events which you alluded to among others the pfc's actions in hong kong. There's been a lot of talk of war of outright military conflict between taiwan and the pfc. I think these media reports have the problem into the wrong perspective. I think it is unlikely that we will see outright war over taiwan's future but we are very likely to see beijing making a move which is a protractive extensive intensive campaign of pressure using all means short of war to bring the taiwanese political leadership to its knees and agree to negotiate nothing more without preconditions taiwanese leadership has already said they will negotiate. But the pfc wants to negotiate on the basis that there is only one china in other words in negotiations have to end in some sort of agreement about unification so that's in a nutshell is what the policy brief argues. We should appear for this kind of extensive intensive pressure campaign using all means short of a case. i'm not. She heard linda's assessment. There of the chinese threat to taiwan china's military invasion of taiwan's unlikely. Highly unlikely so expect by gene to launch a step by step coercion of taiwan using all main short of war to force taiwan's latest into negotiations to etc unification natasha. What's your response. I'm inclined to agree with linda that this kind of phased coercion with many policy measures that china can easily scale up is the most likely scenario are and we can already see that happening. We can already see china attempting to launch multiple cyber attacks in taiwan to economically co west taiwan to try to put pressure intensive media coverage and even to infiltrate some of those local level groups to try to tan politics in a different way in taiwan. All these measures today have been relatively unsuccessful. China made it very clear that they wa against the current president citing win and that they were going to punish the taiwanese for her. These kinds of measures only encouraged the taiwanese people the vast majority of which do not want to be a part of china to turn out in support and fight to when last year. And at the same time we've also seen the country really come together during this covid nineteen pandemic and we've seen a really incredible of trust in institutions and in that democratic system of government. In a way that perhaps we haven't seen in other countries so i'm inclined to agree with these being the right measures but on the other hand i would say that the military option very much remains on the table not perhaps in the short term but from china's the incredible buildup of the people's liberation army that we've seen over the past decade has very much been directed at a potential taiwan

It is a trustworthy charity, and we've sent people over there to Iraq to see your good work. And that's why we feel so confident that the money is actually going to save Christians. Thank you. S o. As where I watched your broadcast yesterday with bated breath because I knew what was coming at. You were kind enough to send me the documents before you broke the story. On. So I was online waiting for you to break the story. This is Uh, this is quite frightening in a way because Canadians don't know what secret documents were given to you, Uh, I think accidentally, uh, but they were given to you, and it shows that Trudeau Is really deeply in bed with China and really against not only your military, but also the United States government saying, Please don't train The Chinese People's Liberation Army. Please don't train them up in Canada, and yet he's doing it. Yes, I I was shocked. First of all, just to let you know how I got these secret documents. I had seen a report that Canada sent a representative to celebrate. 70th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army Navy and I thought, What are we doing? Celebrating the Communist Party's military, and by the way, China had just seized two Canadian civilians and thrown them in prison as some sort of diplomatic vengeance for the fact that we lawfully arrested and accused Oligarchs fraudster that the CFO of four way So So why would we send someone to cheer on this Navy parade? So I asked the government I filed a freedom of information question. If we really send someone sent me the documents, they didn't just answer that, but they sent 34 pages of other Canada. China military relations, which I never asked for, So it's really weird. They sent him but the crazy part when you know whenever you get an access to information of freedom of information document, there's all sorts of black Yeah, Yeah, redactions. It looks like a checkerboard. They used the highlighter function, blackout function or something, Because it's just shaded in great. It's almost It's almost as if the person who did it wanted to point out. You should read these parts. Yeah. You know it's 34 pages, so I just wanted so this is I didn't steal this. I didn't hack it. It wasn't illegally given to me. It came in the front door and I couldn't believe it, but to get your point. Not only did I learned that Canada went to celebrate the People's Liberation Army Navy, which I think is really gross. But we had 18 joint military projects with the People's Liberation Army. The worst of which is this cold weather warfare. Trudeau invited Chinese troops to a military base in Ontario CSP pedal pedal Wawa to train them in cold weather warfare that kind of thing that could be used theoretically against us. Or against China's enemies in India, or even into bed or Xin Jiang. Why are we teaching our enemies all are, apparently apparently, that's what the Trump Administration said to Trudeau Trudeau when they found out about it. And said, Please, even and it zlate out in this document. Even if you don't intend to reveal any secrets, you could accidentally reveal the NATO secrets. To the China Please don't do this. And so, Trudeau said. What Well, the chief of the defense staff, so the boss of our Army said, Yet good point will cancel it. Oh, my God. Trudeau erupted and he basically said you've got to immediately stop Cancel. You can't cancel any more. There are 18. Joint projects going on the chief of our defense staff canceled one. Trudeau and his staff immediately said You can't cancel anymore without our permission and by the one by the way, this cold weather warfare one that you did cancel. You haven't told the Chinese that yet you have to work with us said true those team on how to tell it to China, so we don't So they don't lose face. Again and again in this document, it's a warning to the Canadian military. Not to make the Chinese lose face not to degrade relations. Everything has to be approved by Trudeau and the Trudeau side was pressuring the army and saying, Why did you cancel this? On what basis on the Army said Well, because of the knowledge transfer and our allies are concerned on the Trudeau side comes back and you could see this all in the documents I post posted all 34 pages. At the China file, Starcom and so the Trudeau Side says. Well, was it just the Trump Administration or wasn't any other Alice? The implication being We don't do anything that Trump says If it was the Brits or the Australians, maybe I've never seen Such documents before they were all supposed to be redacted. And now I see why so it's not that Trudeau is Aziz. I read these documents and I listen to your Your first revealed yesterday. It's not the Trudeau is trying to get your hostages returned. It's I mean, you've got three other Canadians that have been arrested on drug charges that are now facing the death penalty. It seems as though he's not working for Canada's Muchas He's he loves China. In fact, we have the audio. Here's Trudeau on China is a level of admiration I actually have.

But you should know that what was going on in the town time. One straight closer to the China side was several live fire exercises by the Ah Chinese naval aviation on the Chinese Air force. And that the Chinese threw up a notice to Mariner and noticed the airman rather haphazardly and quickly on what became pretty quickly obvious on Wednesday. Was that the by Wednesday and Thursday was that the Chinese live fire exercise was overlapping into the Taiwanese 83 ages that is the Air Defense identification zone. You know, even though the United States as a 12 miles sovereignty limit You know we and then we have an economic zone that goes out 200 Miles. There's also Bei Air Defense identification Zone all around the US all around Russia all around North Korea. Japan. Everyone has a natives and what that means is you must be prepared to identify who you are. As you approach the easy and if you do not aircraft will be scrambled alerts will be alerted. And we will begin to wonder what your intentions are. Until we can positively identify who you are, or you just call us on the radio Tell so you're anyway the Chinese exercise that began Wednesday, the day after she told his Marines to prepare for war. Was evidently ah, part of it. The goal of the exercise was to test the Taiwanese response time. On DH, but to do it for a longer period that they've been doing it for the past month because this is all kind of started on September 19th. And there have been one season twosies of the Chinese Air Force challenging the Taiwanese Air Defense identification zone. But this time it appears to be A longer term multi day thing. I mean, In other words, it would appear that they're trying to test the Taiwanese air force's ability to maintain aircraft. To respond to that either stay in the air and be prepared for any challenge or two on an hour by hour daily basis get up there and challenge which led to Thursday's most serious incident. Now we're on the 15th. Of October. Well. This was a local media reporting that the Taiwanese have 16 outmaneuvered the Chinese Sukhoi s U. 30 fighter jet over the time one straight and drove it out of Taiwan's Air Defense identification zone. The Taiwanese of 16 was actually ah, pursuing and intercepting a slow intelligence aircraft, a four engined Chinese Air Force intelligence aircraft called a Y eight and the fighter came from a higher position out of nowhere, and it's simulated an interception of the time when he's 16, and this was happening inside the Taiwanese. Air Defense identification zone again. That's not a territorial violation. But it it is sort of a violation of the protocol that every country has about air defense. I'd zones anywhere the Chinese air force getting much, much more aggressive around the time on straight and part of the exercise of keeping the Taiwanese up in there. Also is a exercise where the Chinese are are are going through the exercise of keeping them maintaining for themselves. A constant aerial presence. And then finally, the weekends like this In a time when East Costco they're selling a Winnie the Pooh costume. You heard me, right? Because nothing pisses she off more than what he's called Winnie the Pooh. And in social on social media. Someone posted a picture of this giant lifesize Winnie the Pooh costume for the impending Halloween and they captioned it with Either. Ah Winnie has been hung isn't sold in China, Someone said, Gee, Asian poo. Someone says a metal said, I just assumed it was you John Park being hung in effigy. Someone else said hung by the neck. Someone called it. Apu Nyala on. Finally, someone said, I'm cheaper than the Chinese stuff. Junk box. So anyway, that is how the week ended on a Friday with a insulted President Xi after a week of challenging time when he's airspace and things like that, all right when we come back, Yeah, some some things to chew on. About a new caliber for the US Army. And also, what exactly does the North Korean regime intend to do with their new gigantic IBM? That Marcie Dark secret Place part shoots back in the second case? "President of this past weekend talked about exactly what he has been doing for debate Prep. Think and prepare every day. I think you know, when you're president. You sort of see everything that they're gonna be asking, and they may disagree with you, but we've done a great job creating the greatest economy in history. Now, This is great, Shawn because it makes me wonder what questions Chris Wallace will ask one of the areas of inquiry. It seems to me should be having to do with Joe Biden and Hunter Biden and Hunter's dirty cash. Here's Senator Johnson on that $3 million payment made to 100 binds businesses by the former wife of the now deceased for Amir of Moscow. She's a billionaire. That's why we believe that she got her billion screwed up. Craps is what her husband was the mayor. And then, of course, all of the Associates associations that 100 by the millions in cash for between China and Chinese nationals that had protected the Communist Party and the People's Liberation Army. And the president, by the way, while he was on the stump this past week and I believe up in Harrisburg said that look, there is a real question about Hunter. But what about Biden son getting $3.5 million from the wife of the mayor of Moscow, And then they say, Donald Trump is dealing with Russia Medical Donald Trump is doing this guy's got $3.5 million from the lights. Of the mayor of Moscow. Questions here are for what? Why did he get $3.5 Million? What affecting In return for the $3.5 million. Did they receive anything in return for the $3.5 Million and Brian? Points out this morning in an email to the show. I have one way the president can cause Joe Biden, will you lose it down? I've seen a few interviews with buying the one common question is when someone brought up Hunter Biden that seems to be his Achilles heel, in my opinion, will calls Biden a literally lose his mind. Well, check this out. Here is Joe Biden over a period of time, Deny any knowledge at all of anything wrong with Hunter Biden's finances. There's absolutely zero basis to the accusation that I acted anyway, inappropriately or that my son, every major National international local news operations looked into it. I said, it's a lie. This is the president's flat line, so they're not gonna see till of evidence pointing anything wrong Evidence my son ever ever ask me. Come on. Come on, man, calm. 3.5 million, Joe now Well, Chris Wallace. Go there, Shawn. What do you think? No. Although you just never know it. They could probably I know. Donald Trump will go their president. Trump will eventually find a way t get that in, But it's just not 100 Biden. There was also in that Senate report that I read over the weekend. The Biden family, the brother, they They got some credit card from. I think it was either I think was the Russians. Some kind of related credit $100,000. They went traipsing all over Europe, staying at the finest hotels eating in the finest restaurants and getting you know, basically small, like service were over there and again the questions for one. For what reason? Would a guy with no experience in the energy sector at all? Get on the board of charisma. On Then, of course, you know the Chinese own. The Russians owned him. And if you want to talk about collusion, that's word lies again. Also, we find out over the weekend doesn't look like the Durham reports coming out before the election. Rivard aroma will tell you what she had to say on the next hour. That is a disappointment. But the good news the good news if we're goingto accepted as good news Is the Durham report is expanding, but we're not going to find out the results of little after the election. His local story Prosecutors say a Maryland man who disregarded police orders to break up the party has been sentenced to a year in jail for violating the state's ban on large gatherings during the pandemic. This is Judge Lewis Hennessy on Friday. Convicted Sean Marshall Meyers. To counsel failure to comply with emergency order. Charles County State's attorney, Tony Covington's office talked about this conviction. He was given a warning like everybody, just the police just swooped in there. Is that, okay? You're going to jail. Gave my morning. Yeah, you know, at least 50 people there the first day and then 23 days later, he's doing the same thing in the second day. He's of a mind that he's not gonna cooperate. He's going to tell people to keep the music plan. These decisions were made for the public. Good for people's safety. We've got 200,000 people dead because of the attitudes. That Mr Myers demonstrated that particular day. There was a little editorial comment from the state attorney there so another Myers is directly responsible for all those deaths. Blame blame. Blame the Chinese if you want to blame somebody, With all due respect, Mr Cummings, there's so many questions of the story One again. Is it legal to quarantine the healthy That's what we've done in Maryland. Thanks to lock down Larry on the rest of these governors understand? Quarantining the sick. I get that That's happened in our past, but quarantining the healthy. I don't think it's constitution. That's one Do you know he had a trial without a jury. I don't know if that was his choice or not, because the article in The Associated Press doesn't say Here's a guy that trial without a jury. I'm a little suspicious of that he gets a year in jail. For what for gathering more than 10 people on two occasions a year in jail and three years of probation after his jail term at the Charles County detention Center. So that to me is a little bit. Ah and again. All we had to do was say these aren't parties. These air protests. I'm pro testing the pandemic. Now again, I'm sure the Charles County State's attorney and officials were going after black lives matter and other protests, right. I'm sure they were. I'm sure black lives matter. People would have been locked up for a year if they were ignoring the pandemic. Not that I'm advocating it because it's your right to protest. You have a first Amendment right? This guy's got his own properties, not bothering anybody. And the second party had was outdoors was a bonfire. You also have the right to go to church. And that was prevented as well. Right question here. Just write him a citation. Fine them but to throw somebody in jail for this. What country are we living in? Does make you wonder. Does Venezuela Maybe 7 43 right now? Traffic.

But just like you have these radicals now whether it's auntie for black lives matter who go out there and we'll use violence. You had the Black Liberation Army. They had declared war on America. U.S. Penalizes 24 Chinese Companies Over Role in South China Sea
"Have been developments Even today in the U. S. China Relations Is China today fired four ballistic missiles in the South China Sea is part of military exercise their welcome now Bloomberg chief North Asia correspondent Stephen Angle with the latest. What's the reaction over there? What's going on in what seems to be increased tension, military tension in the South China Sea. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, of course, The China US relationship is a focal point of this election in the United States and we see it firsthand out here where I am in Hong Kong. And you know, you have to decide whether is this, you know, provocation, military provocation, Or is it Maura? An example of what election era. Theater. But regardless, it's on a dangerous stage here because what we've learned from the U. S military is that the Chinese military in these exercises in the South China Sea between Hainan Island and the Parasol Islands fired four medium range ballistic missiles, including. We're hearing a DF 21 D. That is a dolphin 21 D so called carrier killer missile that was fired from the mainland. Of China into the South China Sea provocative indeed. And separately. We're also hearing that the U. S. Has announced trade and visa restrictions coming from the Commerce Department and the Secretary of state on 24 Chinese companies that the U. "Everywhere on the radio. This dark secret place Brian suits in here until 11. Yeah, there's somewhere parallels the United States has with the People's Republic of China are Army precedes the country. The People's Liberation Army of, of course, was a communist guerrilla movement begun and the late teens early twenties. Esso's US Army, not a Communist guerrilla movement. It was it was a guerilla movement, but not really being uniforms but anyway. On DH s O early on the People's Liberation Army, Of course. Ah wass, the Chinese Communist Party, the CCP. And the CCP was was very closely run from Moscow. Early on, the Chinese were really, really tight with the Russians. Leading leading to a period where Russian, the precursor to the KGB, was the NK VD Onda precursor to them was the checker and early on Russian counterintelligence people came to China and to train Chinese Cummings party officials into becoming good counterintelligence guys early on, they were actually allied with Chiang Kai shek CE nationalist army. The Coleman Tong, the Camp T guys who then went to Tyra Time one of the Chinese Civil War in 1927 Chungs. Army. The Nationalist Army had a very robust counterintelligence section and had penetrated the Chinese Communist Party and they purged on assassinated the fledgling Chinese counterintelligence service. They never forgot that they've never forgotten that to this day to not get Pearl harbored like that, and they were they re formed by by the fifties. There. There was almost a rivalry between the People's Liberation Army and what became the combination of the Chinese, CIA and FBI, which is what the Ministry for State Security is. To this day In the late fifties, the Russians actually had KGB agents stationed in Beijing trying to teach the Chinese how to spy on your neighbors. There once they had vanquished all their internal enemies. The Russians expected them to assist in spying on the western world. The Chinese weren't exactly convinced that that was necessary. They just need needed to know Is anyone gonna invade that we that we should be aware of. Besides, maybe you guys and this is this is not quite understand the western world. But But by the early sixties, there was a schism. It was a split from China and Russia. And in fact, in the early and late sixties, the Russians actually in the Russians and Chinese actually cross swords. They exchange rounds on some of their border area. The Chinese and Russian Communist Party's hated each other by the fifties. They in even for the sake of appearances. They tried keeping it quiet, but they finally it finally came out in the open on the Chinese began referring to the Russians in every derogatory fashion by 1959. They'd all been kicked out. That was it. That was the last row of the CIA had discovered this because we were arming a Tibetan guerrilla group. And they were actually very successful. Early on. And one time they ambushed the Chinese convoy and found notebooks of classified intelligence stuff. So so the CIA knew that the Chinese now we're facing the fact that they had come up with a pretty robust counterintelligence section for the purpose of knowing who is supporting these guerrilla groups. Though it wasn't hard to figure out that the CIA was backing the Tibetan army. Um and so for the sixties and seventies, Chinese intelligence was oriented in for thousands of years and no no, no difference. It was oriented internally at rooting out Descent. Counter revolutionaries, whatever. And wherever they were legit. They were rooted out. But then it was found out. Mouth figured out. You know, I can use him his weapon. When one I want to get rid of of old empirical, monarchical habits and thinking I could just have a revolution within the revolution. So you have these movements. The great leap forward and things like that these named movements that Mao did, and they're always enforced by his secret police s O. We fast forward Teo to the eighties Deng Xiaoping, who was a political prisoner. Is out the current what we call the MSs today was formed in 1983 just 1983. They have not been around a long time, but they have learned very, very quick. To the point now where they are probably top to bottom. The most holistic intelligence gathering agency that the world's ever seen. Part of it is our own fault because we couldn't we couldn't envision in the nineties with the reformation of the Chinese economy. On done. Shopping's acceptance. That property turns out not to be theft property can be delightful on In fact, when, when farmers are allowed to farm their own quarter of an acre, they grow more food in general, you know, wacky thoughts like that. Uh, And that's why, for instance, basis the computer company was was founded by a nighttime security guard. Who got some loan from some people on dust made China a heck of a lot of money. And so When the first wave of immigrants from China came in the nineties. Remember in the nineties where you gonna run me back to this sort of the idea was well. History's over the Soviet Union collapsed. China is just sort of plugging along, wearing Mao jackets and You know if people want to leave and the good for them and then June of 1989 the chin on men square thing happens and reminds us. Oh, yeah, that's right there a surveillance state completely totalitarian. And anyone who asks for like, you know, you know the right to vote or whatever is going to get run over by a tank. S so there was a wave of Chinese immigration. The Chinese didn't stop it because it was coordinated the Chinese holistic thing and I'm talking about, you know, utilizes A technological arm. That early on the Chinese understood. We need to lowball the West and make all this stuff here. And when we do make it here, we need it to be our secret weapon. And so they've done that masterfully. Try buying an Internet router that's not made in China mean good luck..

kind of test in sex crime trials a former federal prosecutor who also handled sex crimes at the state level said the testimony from man last week makes a potential shipped in the type of cases the prosecutors are willing to pursue this could be a real arm change the way we we would we handle these over over the years over the centuries maybe years ago I would say her allegations would not even be brought forward a case like this it's testing the judge the court in the system the self I do believe it's pushing the envelope of how we do these trials specifically around the issue of you had consensual sex with them before or maybe after but you say at some point you're right by the person in the past this prosecutor says you just don't you don't even try it you don't even go forward you can't do it it's not gonna win if you if you were raped by this guy in then you sent an email saying I had a good time last night forget it forget your whole rape trial thing if you were not to do it and she says if this happens and no one seems prosecuted maybe we can go forward with that I think we've all learned now that that's fairly common it's impossible for most of us understand how this happens we just have to accept its true on abusive relationship in general there's you go away you come back again because this particular woman had many consensual sex experiences with Harvey before she was right and after we she was raped yeah and there's all kinds of emails you know saying I love you and you've done so much for me and stuff like that after she says she was raped right at is it is a journey gonna say the jury gonna say you know we know your damaged this happens it's fairly common we believe you were raped well beyond a reasonable doubt I had two tough for me as a juror I mean I haven't heard all of the prosecution right would be tough for me as a juror because she's she's a troubled person as we've been talking about for the last couple of weeks these these abusers choose trouble people on purpose right they're easier to Melissa manipulate but if I don't know Harvey Weinstein and these jurors supposedly don't know him or it light like his background that's the how they end up on the the jury I assume but like fighting off it's just a random guy and I hear the testimony this woman and she's she breaks down one day talking about her ex boyfriend she can't even finish the day and she sent an email saying I love you after she supposing is right I don't know that I can send this guy off to prison for twenty years right when there was nobody else in the room no it will directly NO one she's she's got some problem it's sickening it is sickening and it's it's pretty clear that Harvey Weinstein was so powerful and had so much money to throw around as maybe the biggest personal Hollywood for this woman mmhm man and one of her friends he pretended to do tryouts auditions for her and a friend for a movie they never going to be and it just went through the whole process he told somebody look have motivation all right attend it's real he he did the full he he he meets some somewhere you're beautiful you should be in my movies I got a super here will be coming at you be perfect for it has a more addition and they think they might be movie stars it's all completely phony while yeah and and he'd go through the whole thing and make the studio waste that much time and the hundreds of thousands of dollars may be in going through the whole process for weeks to pretend that they would think they're gonna be a big star so he could have sex with them wow and and somebody's gonna rape of anyway so I don't even know why go through this process but part of his the grooming says part of his recruiting in grooming process searching for likely victims right you know Tim center for a good friend to the lawyer tweeted over the weekend today's load of dangers of the stupid bowl ask comes to you courtesy of the Atlantic we're due process is just a perpetuation of harm and indeed the title of this article by one Megan Garber is the wind steam trial and the lives of due process which is essentially argues that because the nature of sex crimes having someone testify in court and then be cross examined is too much to ask it's too hard and it's unfair this is due process at work whether the process will really resulting justice is a notably different matter so I'm trying to follow the so you're saying that cross examining this woman would be is it skates Kroll it's nasty it's hard it makes it too hard to testify in sex crime trials in due process is a lie it's really just a you know a defense against the rape or defense you know in August against rape charges and what is why some women don't come forward because they're gonna be cross examine is going to be a miserable experience but you gotta do it yeah obviously it's funny she does not have the moral courage your writing skill to really make her point but she hints around the edges at at that due process is is not fare in this sort of trial and we should eliminate it boy that's scary thing I don't even know one result I want out of this RB one scene is awful and I hope he's in jail for the rest of his life but if it becomes standard that you could have consensual sex with a man for years before and after you claim a rape and there's email saying I love you and you're you know you're one of the best things that ever happened and stuff like that we have a bad break up you could say at some point he raped me that's a tough one and it's just said she said what all these ever do that say naive people Yvonne could trump Donald's first wife her lawyer claimed that in the divorce fight so she can get a little more money out of home and then when it came to him running for president she said she stated that never happened today absolutely did not happen so you have people do that all the time fake allegations of rape which isn't the unbelievably have morally bankrupt I mean it is or effect it's a it's a tough when you don't want the rapist to go free but you don't want it's it's a morally and ethically and legally really difficult like I said I haven't seen all the prosecution I hope there's plenty to put him away as a rapist yeah but I got all these emails and now heard talking about consensual sex and emails about how great the sex was and everything like that that's a tough one to send somebody to prison right and it didn't don't misunderstand us we understand that he absolutely could have raped her in the first of all it can especially given the monastery is but it's a question of sending somebody to prison for years beyond a reasonable doubt this could change rate trials in America going forward how this turns out it could it could well have to see I'm not sure it's going to solve any of these vexing problems we've been discussing bomb I almost said something terrible role I'm sixty something that nobody wants why would I do that I'm straight Jack I was teased something that nobody America would stay tuned for terrible idea perhaps that the Chinese have been lying about the corona virus coming up in moments.

"To U. S. China policy we're about to talk with someone who is an expert on the nature of the Chinese Communist Party the Chinese regime there long term goal is strategies and ambitions my guest just about now is bill Gertz national security columnist for The Washington Times and a senior editor at the Washington free beacon he's the author of many books on China and otherwise specifically around national security and intelligence his latest is called deceiving the sky insides communist China's drive for a global supremacy it's out from encounter books which full disclosure I do some work on behalf of encounter books but I love this book regardless of that association bill you're on the back section Joe thanks so much for joining us I've been good to be on the program all right bill so let's start right here what do you make of what is going on with the NBA right now you know we've talked in in detail during the show about the nature of the league's response to the Houston Rockets executive and on the back and forth with any number of players coming out saying well we're not really sure we want to criticize China what do you make of all this well I think it's a bad omen this is a major company that's making billions of dollars and the NBA and they basically caved in to Chinese communists demands to moderate the free speech of their employees in order to maintain a business relationship list in the pit of my eyes is the control that China is seeking to assert not just on the United States but also globally in other words say anything bad about China or say something that China disagrees with and you can't do business with China or you'll be blocks from our coming into the country it's it's kind of to me this this is the way that China will assert its influence and power one to become the dominant power in the world it's not a world that we want to live in it if the world lacking in freedom lacking in liberty lacking in human rights it's a real horrible sign for the future what all the experts told us for decades that economic liberalization that is free trade quote unquote which has turned out to be on free would lead to political social liberalization essentially that if you just have commercial relations ultimately the party with which you're having those relations is going to become like us like us in the west liberal free tolerant pluralistic diverse it really seems that not only has the opposite been the case but we have sort of converged towards China in other words they haven't bands to the western system we've converge towards their system what do you make of that sure and you're you're absolutely right about the the what I call the forty year gamble of creating an engaging China across the board it with the idea that this would have a moderating influence it's been an utter failure and failure on so many different levels economically from a security standpoint the I can remember back in the Clinton administration did we shared cooperation on the nuclear front and it ended up the Chinese stealing our nuclear warheads secrets so it's a yeah it's a major problem I I think that the US is now changing under trump the president has said look no nation can survive losing two hundred fifty billion the six hundred billion annually and intellectual property which is what a White House report said last year so he's trying to pull back I think we're in a new Cold War with China only the the only problem is for so many years only the Chinese are waging against us yeah they have as as you noted at least a forty year head start on this and and I think one of the fundamental questions that we have to answer as a country and we're only beginning to start asking it which tells you how perilous our position is and has been is the question of can you do business with any Chinese entity when in reality every company in China serves at the mercy of the Chinese Communist Party which is clearly antithetical to us not only from the perspective of ideal is but from the perspective of actually seeking a Gemini in the world and I do want to talk about that separately but ultimately do you believe that America has to decouple from China that is Sam for our business relationships or at least put that thread on the table for there to be actual tangible changes on the ground and obviously there any number of business executives who would hate that concept do we have to do a couple of them I yeah I think we do and then the first step in doing that I think is we need to be clear and honest about the nature of the system in China for well like I say many decades the Chinese have hoisted the deception that they're not really communist that even though they you know their their regime is the legacy of the death of sixty million people under me mounted on the then I think we need to be clear that the China threat is if ideology and they are communists I've traveled there and you go to the people's Liberation Army museum and you see the statues of Marx Engels and Lenin and Stalin and you know that that's the problem so we need to be honest about that the system that it's not a capital system the idea of engaging with them has not worked to modify that in fact it's become more communist she didn't paying is become like the nu metal and we need to the couple and now we can't do it all at once because for the last thirty five years we've been totally engaging the government told companies just go to don't worry about the security threats to worry about the economic that's now we need to gradually de couple and start looking for new markets in a note there India other places where we can do business without having to our economy so intertwined and leveraged politically by Beijing so you you mentioned that China's sort of hegemonic aspirations and when you listen to the experts I'm gonna put that in in scare quotes here the experts on China they always say well look China wants to be the dominant player in its region what evidence do you see that China actually wants to be the sole global superpower and not just the dominant player in Asia well it's very interesting one of the guys I quote in my book is Mike Pillsbury he's a scholar on China and he was he did some groundbreaking work for the Pentagon in the seventies he he went to China and he collected a bunch of military writings and what these whiting showed was that what China was saying publically about wanting to be friendly and not being a threat and seeking a peaceful rise was totally contradicted by what the military was telling themselves internally which is that the United States is the main enemy they have this Chinese Communist Party conspiracy that the United States is engaged in a massive plan to contain China and prevent China from becoming a modern state she's in pain has kind of outlined his ideology his version of the Chinese communist ideology in something called the China dream which I think is the Communist Party of China nightmare and it's basically to have China assume it's quote rightful place in the world as the dominant power in so that's kind of what they're working poor and he's been doing that through something known as the belt and road initiative which again is the economic tool the Chinese are are deeply into what they call unrestricted warfare the all forms of warfare and economic warfare is one of them the political worker others and they're buying up country and by doing this infrastructure development say they'll go into a country say we want to build a railroad for you and will even help you with financing port and then all of a sudden they charge exorbitant interest rates the country can't pay back the money and they're trying to say well this is our this is our railroad now and by doing that they're trying to increase their dominance over the it is developing world as a way to encircle the United States yeah it's what I would call a loan to own strategy we're gonna provide you financing for all these major infrastructure projects and the like and bring you into the twenty first century and by the way when they go belly up you can't afford them we'll take them over and basically what this allows China to do is have ports of power digital and real ports of power all over the globe that is their strategy their strategy is to play on our perceived economic self interest which really ultimately serves their strategic interest in one of the places infrastructure wise where China is most dominant and may pose the greatest threat of all when it comes to everyday use a very basic technologies and very sophisticated technologies as well as in the realm of five G. fifth generation networking and wow way is the dominant Chinese player in this space speak a little bit to what it would mean a while way is the dominant fire building five G. networking communications infrastructure around the world and what that would mean to the US and our freedom yeah Wally technologies is a basically a state run Chinese telecommunications giant masquerading as a private company and they are on the March in terms of trying to corner the international market on the infrastructure use for this five G. technology and again five G. is a quantum leap from fourth generation telecommunications providing extremely fast and large amounts of data transfers it requires a lot of a lot more of the repeater stations that you see today on cell phone towers and what they want to do is they want to get their standard of their electronic standard in the hardware set up in all these places so that they can basically through that hardware and the software that goes with it provide the back doors in the control that they need the military the Pentagon has said this is a a any strategic all the ability for the United States if the global internet structure using five G. is controlled by the Chinese they could literally cut off block or disrupt US military communications strand missions navigation key key players so that's kind of what's happening the US and the western European telecommunications have been at a disadvantage because of these giant state owned tell Jack Chinese telecommunications company the most prominent one being walk away and so this is playing out right now I'm not sure how it's going to end or and whether they will do it but there's some new technology out there that can secure of the five G. networks but I think that's kind of the way they're going to it doesn't look like US and western telecommunications companies can catch up to what the lord companies like wall way and another called the TV are doing just a very sad commentary we've been speaking with bill Gertz he's the author of the new book deceiving the sky inside communist China's drive for global supremacy and bill if you.

time to get thrown out a lot the little but this comes down off of our Greenwich time dot com Greenwich time dot com Shanghai what a decade ago trainees physicist pan jail where you returned home from Europe to help oversee research into some of the most important technology of the twenty first century at a conference in Shanghai this and by the way Shanghai and Hong Kong are the two economic just drivers of the Chinese economy Beijing sort of but it's it's Shanghai and Hong Kong Hong Kong has been pretty much doing its own thing then when I got folded into the mainland China you may recall was a big ceremony the British turn it back over it was a British colony they turn it back over to China in transit we won't mess with you Hong Kong we promise because well how successful you are they knew they needed to go why would they upset the apple cart well guess what the Chinese now have been trying little by little to fold Hong Kong into the main Chinese communist clubhouse much like Shanghai is and not control it kung said no that's what's going on right now the ones that are said no are in the streets they said no we are straight up free market get the hell out here with your Chinese communism Chinese or said now coming across your **** and end up formosa as Taiwan if you get in the way will crush you too so what now Shanghai which is just iron control by the Chinese communist people's Liberation Army the P. away at a conference in Shanghai and summer hand this is the guy that came back from Europe to oversee research into some of the most important technology of the twenty first century and this team offered a rare peek at the work he described as a revolution that's his work not not pay attention here this is way important they spoke of the hacking resistant hacking resistant I know if that's doable but he claims that is hacking resistant communication network other building across China the sensors they're designing to see through smog to see around corners another words were talking service as surveillance kinda like Winston had to put up with the nineteen eighty four both before and after they put the rat cage on the set and the prototype computers that may someday smash the computational power of any existing machine wow how they gonna do that well you know what I don't know I haven't gotten through all this article on we're going through all the entirety what I'm telling here is the Chinese are putting in place a massive read let's say a reworking of the internet of surveillance of everything that you think of as a communication now the way they're going to be the backbone on which they're building this is five G. five G. I've been telling you this from things I've been reading I've been paying attention glove back he's all over this five G. now you're hearing that five Jeez horrible is going to kill us all we can have five G. of ray's gonna die cancer five G. five G. we gotta get rid of it it could happen Chinese don't give a damn one way or the other but the Chinese are going to be using five G. for what I'm going to share with you in greater detail after the bottom of the hour again you're talking about a hack proof communication networks will never know what the hell they're doing other billing all across China the sensors they're designing see through smog so they have to worry about the pollution they put in there which is worst in LA or Mexico City everywhere in the sixties and issues around corners whoa sees around quarter that's like spy versus spy in mad magazine and the prototype computers that may someday smash computational power of any existing machine not says may some day they're not just working on this to five G. they're working on this through American education university of Michigan which they take project take back to mainland China to put toward discount at the university of California to remain all of us what are we doing well wish wish Erica's sister studying Mandarin babies by the way down from someone standing in the way of this right now Donald trumps the only one standing in the way of well I am too but I'm just order call with Mr microphone you're on the people are always on the move driving to work running errands how do they keep up.

You don't need to memorize it because they can't allowed to sell. Yeah, hello. Manny lowly. Oh, I'll be Father's Day happy. Father's Day I forgot to say that to everybody while you said it now happy, yeah. I got a phone call for my daughter, wishing me happy, Father's Day. That was nice. Awesome. Yeah. So what can I do for you Manny from my wife, she's really sad? Because she loves her camera on her wall, way mate nine and she don't know how much longer the way phone is gonna last year. She does the cameras is something important and do him. Yeah those him. So why ways Chinese company that the US government has deemed is security, concern, partly because the ownership of always unclear while as always said, well, it's owned by the employee's, they can't really demonstrate that the man who runs wall weighs a former a member of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He's a and, and it's thought that, while they might have Chinese government money behind it. There's also the issue of any company that runs in China is alternately going to be after do whatever president. She says they should do so initially the concern this actually started way back in twenty twelve when I was at the US department of commerce, I think it was warned. Tech companies about buying gear from three Chinese companies while way shall me. And Z T E last year's e two e was basically put out of business by government restrictions on their stuff. And while way is the target this year. The, the government has now ordered that no US official US government office can buy gear from alway they've encouraged our carriers are local carriers. Actually, I think that made it illegal for them, and encouraging our allies in around the world, not to use walleyes networking equipment for their five G their next generation cellphone installations. And they even got to win while we had a deal last year to distribute this these incredible phones. They make their the number two phone manufacturer in the world. They would probably have been number one had this not happened. These great phones that they make they had a deal with AT and T two. Tribute them, and the government whispered in the year of AT and T. We think and, and they pull the plug. And while was very I remember last a year ago, the ES chairman away, or the US, he was the US guy at what was hop and man on stage and ever since they haven't sold their phone in the US. But this most recent restriction, President Trump signed it into I think an executive order a couple of weeks ago means that most companies that are doing business with. Wow. We have pulled out including the one that you care about most, which is Google Google initially said, we're not going to offer our any of the Google features to while away for putting inclusion in their phones. And most importantly, the while we would stop getting patches security patches, they relented, a little bit, the government relented and said, okay, three more months. So you've got three months for that mate nine but at some point, and I would keep watching the news, because President Trump's confuse the issue a little bit initially in one sentence. Actually, he said in one sense, it's a concerted security concern. But if we have a trade deal with China that everything will be fine, which is it is it a security concern, or is it a trade issue is this part of our trade war, what is going on and it's not clear. I've never seen proof from anybody that while way is dangerous in any way. And I certainly don't think a while way computer make really nice computers, by the way, they've put their most recent mate book on hold as well because without the US markets..

But I wanna get into the militarization of the deep deep sea the China Sea over there. And I I don't know. I gotta think we're doing something about it. I know we ran some worships to enshrine in Formosa. I know they call it Taiwan. But to me before most I'm that old. And also, it's always going to be salons going to be relying. And what else Constantinople rather than stumble miss? Those names space cyberspace are not the sole domains of China's growing asymmetric warfare programs. I love that term symmetric, which is what we're finding with China. Twenty four seven I heard something over the weekend too. I must comment on that for we get into the sexy ties into this there. There was a thing about going around. It was one of the business shows on a weekend about China, and how they're doing all sorts dastardly things with intellectual property all the stuff that we talk about quite a bit not just on the show, but number shows with the Chinese are not not playing fair not just not playing fair. They're literally trying to game the system such that they end up controlling the universe by the year. Twenty twenty six at the latest twenty thirty. That's a fact, but one of the things reporting up this this this come Gordon other was Gordon Chang on a Lou Dobbs show was watching a DVR of it. And he was asked about how bad the Chinese are working on the international front, and they were talking about how an academic have. They started to do anything to move away from that. And he said, no is a matter of fact as Gordon Chang talking said that the echo. Doing nothing literally nothing. The Chinese are still coming here going right down the street, and our particular area here to the university of Michigan or over there to Wayne State or eastern, Michigan diversity, whatever or any place in universities all over the country, and the universities are welcoming them with open arms, and they probably defensive say, well, we can't stop them from enrolling good. Yeah. You could actually could you could put sanctions on that. And the Chinese the case they're making they're coming here to get a degree in puppetry. Chinese students stuttering black studying black studies or women's studies. No, they're coming here to get science engineering. What do they call stem degrees? Math all that. Then they take that back to China and the eight and a bet the militarization of China and the militarization of what we're talking about right here, the China see what's going on with the their temp to become the world's strongest dominant military. What do you think's going to happen when that happens? Do they're going to live in peace only doing this for self defense just in case wherever attack that's why we're doing this. Are you kidding me? Kidding me the minute Chinese think they can take everybody else. They're moving on everybody else. Like that. Because in the Chinese mind, and this is nothing to do with them being Asian or Chinese does to do with the psychotic communist, progressive, dicta to'real mind, and that's been the human mind set since the beginning of time, I'm gonna tell you what to do because I can I'm going to beat the crap out of everything you have because I can as the first time in history of mankind where we got pretty close to right? We're working on it ongoing in progress. The venture United States of America all about freedom. But no, it ain't going to be like that. This was trainees get their dastardly way. And guess who's aiding and abetting them all the American diversities? That are enabling them through giving them the education. They need to go back and build the weaponry to come back and eat the lunches of all the clowns at the universities that enabled them. Tag. You're it Mojo heaven right down the street. And they of course, we look at what I'm saying right now is some kind of hate speech Zena, phobic, blah, blah, blah. I mean, just crazy that what we're up against in this long war. I hope you're ready to fight it. To a neighborhood near you saying already is an intellectual property neighborhood near you. So anyway, space cyberspace are not the sole domains of China's growing asymmetric warfare programs. China's military has another development program only recently disclosed that as part of decades a decades long build up of weapons and forces Scott deep sea. According to the state controlled media report, the People's Liberation Army that controls everything all the students here are People's Liberation. Army operatives don't doubt that that doesn't mean they're necessarily enrolled in the People's Liberation Army not necessarily signed up, but but but People's Liberation Army has their family back there and China's you wanna see your family again, you'll get that case come back and work for us. You'll do what we tell you to do. That's how it works over there. People's Liberation Army wants weapons capable of operating in deep waters, generally considered thirty three hundred feet below the surface down more than thirteen thousand feet down to thirteen thousand feet. So they won't be uprating. Let's say thirty five hundred feet to thirteen thousand feet, and why would they want to do that? Because they want to be able to kill us at will. Don't we do? They want us to do. Yeah. Military research is associated with collaborative innovation center of South China Sea studies at what's called none Jing university disclosed the plans in December. Now, there you go. This comes down off of the Washington free beacon, and there's not a this isn't a huge expose. This is just saying it's really happening. It's in full swing and the way they're getting the tools necessary to do that type warfare think we're working on this stuff to we're not stupid. But then again in our country, we get people like Paul. Oh, Ryan that don't give the president the money. He needs a now dead in the democrat controlled house of representatives. Give the president the money. He needs to say, okay. Go into the lab. Possibly go to university of Michigan get rid all those trainees plugging all the American students working on how to go thirty three hundred feet down to thirteen fourteen fifteen thousand feet with the weaponry necessary to cross China in a nanosecond. You get the point. I hope you do because that's the battle at hand. Let's give you a couple more. I was thinking today's episode of I was thinking, but you by well me there are next on my radio program. I can't get away from this one. I was thinking if women do the same job for less money. Why do companies hire men do the same for more money? Why I don't know. I don't understand that. Steph. We got you over here working for peanuts. Right. Right. Got to get rid of Dan. And Ed down there. What the hell we could find somebody else. Well, all these guys. Let's see what else is going. I was thinking if liberals don't believe in biological gender. Then why did they March for women's rights? Yes. Why is that I was thinking I gotta thank Deb X hit me with these debt. One of my.

"Radio. The vast majority of them don't other asked him a hole in the ground. This is it right here. This is it right here, by the way when I say conservative. I don't mean some kind of half-cocked conspiracy theory stuff. I mean, we the thinking logic driven radio. We're fact is presented and really cool way. It's kinda as I said before it's kind of like Lenny, Bruce, George Carlin a little bit of Attila the hun tossed into a blender boom on the edge. Now, we just played for you, something I posted on Facebook exited on Facebook. An expose it goes back to. Let's let's call it two thousand twelve and at that time the CEO at GM is referencing some things in two thousand eleven but. All of it is factual right there. Now, I would urge you to share it on your Facebook page, and the reason is is because the vast majority of Americans don't know this. I don't care if you work jam or not you need to know this information because this transcends GM, this is every globalist in the world as evidenced in that in that audiovisual video. It's for post on my Facebook page about GM. Now, here's the deal. In there. If you heard it on the radio, he didn't get to see the the video Broncos San Obama and crew made it such that GM could go ahead and sell this technology that they came up with in terms of. Boats seacraft over there with with missile launchers on them to Iran after much of it was developed in the United States of America and funneled through their communist government setup as a fake corporation. Anytime you see a company in China. It's owned by the People's Liberation Army of China of which presidency is the head. They also mentioned in there, which you couldn't see the Cadillacs around in front of this this film. Chinese put together a documentary financed by General Motors, financed by General Motors. The great fabulous enlightenment of the Chinese people operations army struggle and the takeover of China by the communist party, it's a huge documentary with all the pomp and circumstance, you would expect from a communist dictatorship, huge huge panoramic flags and people and all that. But the thing is. Is is GM paid for it. Does GM even know I don't know. Do do the people GM even know the people to this day that the Chinese People's Liberation Army were essentially Cyril killers. Do do do they know that at one point they were taking people, and I'm gonna use just one example. But there are thousands of this kind of thing they were they had what's called an anti intellectual perch because they saw intellectuals as being detrimental to the People's Liberation Army of thrall was about the worker the people out there that have been used by landlords in college professors at one point they were taking anybody that wore glasses Cambodians did the same thing. If you wore glasses you were put into a camp because you were looked at as some kind of an intellectual. Yeah. Did you know that and and doctors doctors were taken out and hung kill through town with a placard around their neck with their crimes is being capitalist. Pigs and then people that were out of the fields that did know anything about anything. We're brought it inside. You're going to function in the healthcare in the hospitals. You even know this stuff this isn't made up. This is fact so GM paid for documentary making that I'll look marvelous and fantastic. I don't think it's worded like that. And there that's truth. That's a straight up. God's truth now. At that documentary, which you'll see in that video. There are a bunch of Cadillacs parked out in front of where they unveil the documentary and those Cadillac says they're pointing out in there because they used a Cadillac brand. And they used a Cadillac to part of GM to finance at fill that documentary in China. You probably didn't see it out here because it was in China. But anyway. The Cadillacs that they were giving to these Chinese People's Liberation Army executives as I guess some kind of a bribe isn't that the way the mafia always works to how many times have we told you on this show, you kids aren't learning? This your kids aren't learning. This at all communism is a crime. Syndicate always has been always will be communism is a crime syndicate, the people on top get a whole bunch of stuff on the backs of the people below and they run out a lie straight up propaganda campaign to convince the people on the bottom that you have more now than you've ever had before. And we're helping the poor and you have free education free healthcare. Yeah. That's what's going on. So anyway, this you need to see this documentary. You gotta see it. Don't just hear it. I put it on the radio in the archive. I'm going to rerun this show. In fact, Dirks going to be so kind to send me an Email to make sure that I put this show into the Sunday net archive broadcast of the show and. You gotta spread this information around this is evil. This is resident evil. This isn't a difference of opinion as far as governments. Go. No, communism is straight up thuggery. It's criminal now in theory. They make it sound. So damn good. I mean, man, we should all work to the best of our abilities. Yeah. Yeah. Let's do that. Let's all get inspired. And we'll work to the best of our abilities. And and we'll give according to our ability to given. And then of course, we'll receive in terms of what we need we won't be selfish, and we won't take more than we need. Yeah. Doesn't work like that. Especially if you're at the head of the food chain in a communist dictatorship Chinese government is straight up zero killing mafia esque operation, you will never hear that from the university of Michigan or any of the lemmings the flap and seals clapping seals that go there and scream gold blue. They don't know they don't know and many of the people. Well, I guess you'd say in their defense at the management levels of the university of Michigan. I'm talking book, Nepal. Thomas operation out there in California's while I'm talking a lot of it is straight up. The people have been lied to. They don't know. They don't have a clue. And they just go along with it, and they all were over in China investing now, and if we make one dollar for every citizen of China will be multi-billionaire. Yeah. But at what price at what cost what do you get out of it after you've traded all of your technology to China do? So this is disgusting. Disgusting that this is not part of the education program in America. Alex, you're on the edge. Hey, thanks for that. Excellent post on your website on your Facebook site. I watched the whole thing, and it's amazing. You're referring to all those billions of people that were killed during this one aspect of the communist revolution. Right. Right. Right. Yeah. That was the cultural revolution under male say tongue any intellectual and anybody that may have even thought about opposing his his power in China. And I used to work for GM, and I had no clue that this went on. And I think or more Americans should know what exactly is on on. Well, hey, before you hang on a second before you're going further, the cultural revolution came about when they were purging, the communist party of people that weren't communist enough in the way that operate. Here's another piece of education. Nobody knows the actual Chinese revolution came about when they kicked Shanghai. Chef check on China Mao took over with his with his his communist Syra killers. But the cultural revolution took place in the sixties. And that was where the Chinese literally at the top of the heap told the police in any little town, and he city to stand down and not get involved as they drove young college students and essentially children through the towns beating people up taking people with glasses beaten them up busting up storefronts becau-. And terrorizing people with the much like they're doing exactly what they're doing with antiques right now. Yeah. Children would would basically a rat out their parents. Yup. Schoolkids would rat out their teachers and what exactly is happening today? Now, you're right. It's what's happening in America. Now, we have a a week strain of it. But nonetheless, it is a strain of it. And nobody's talking about this. Thank you for knowing about. Are you still in touch with a lot of people from GM that you knew if so please let them know about this stuff? Well, I do know. Well, I post I.

"I'm quite Lewis. You're listening to ground zero. There's so many things happening above us right now, it's hard to keep track. And certainly January is going to be the mom for space activity and that includes the wolf moon. I'm that includes what's going on on the far side, the moon with China and the four course ultimate tool old with Dooley was talked about last night with Richard C Hoagland. He said that we were to get clear pictures of what is this contact binary that we would see that? It's a spaceship. Well, there won't be any clear pictures coming of ultimate duly because of the fact that they say that there are some interferences going on. And then, of course, no clear pictures will be seen by anyone until after the tenth of this month. And even then we don't know if those images will be available, and it's just a lot of just a lot of strange things going on. And of course, going back to change four and the space. Space exploration on the far side of the moon. And this is the reason why an in ground zero listeners have paid attention. They know that we've talked about the Patagonia deep space station that was actually put up there. And you know, there's speculation as to whether or not they were using it to listen for sounds coming from an article or sounds coming from space or whatever. Well, the New York Times actually talked about this base last August when they published a story about it. And I and I was talking to Ron today. And I said, hey, you know, did we talk about this back in two thousand sixteen and we look back. Sure. There was a story that we did called muddle earth talking about, you know, Nazi basis on Antarctica. And and you know, once again that goes back to throughly, which of course, is the the the supernatural group or call tour mythos that is tied to not. Theism? So I mean, there are a lot of weird combinations. I haven't yet piece together. But looking at this priscilla's deep space station in Argentina Argentina got a lot of money out of this deal. And one of the things I think that if I recall one of the things that was actually in the deal is we pay the money to you. Let us build this here and no questions asked, you know, sure, you'll be able to use it for some of your stuff if you want to. But what we do is none of your business. And he said we're gonna use it for a future moon mission and Argentina goes, okay? That's great. But it was leaked that division of the Chinese People's Liberation Army who have been many times over intercepted communications of other world powers has set up operations there. And this is interesting because we have something on the far side of the moon where we don't get direct communications. They have to relay them through a Chinese satellite called the magpie bridge. The magpie bridge goes down to the the this deep station down in Argentina. And no one's the wiser. And so the issue is whether or not the station is part of a Chinese network. It would be similar to what echelon was back in the day. There was something during the Clinton administration called echelon, which they would have satellites in in deep space monitoring and communication here between the superpowers. And so that us relay satellites from the moon to Patagonia, and that gives them an advantage because China has the capacity to do this. They've always had the capacity to this end. There is no oversight. That's the catch no oversight. So there's no way to ensure they're not using their space dominance to move forward with operations that could disrupt communications here on earth. And as I said earlier, it'd be MAC in nineteen fifty seven it was it was it was scary for the United States to think that Russia have Sputnik. Above us. And there's also other information about how the Chinese want to separate themselves from using GPS systems that were developed by our government, the US department of defense that developed the navigation satellite system for GPS it's been operational since nineteen ninety-five. And of course, there was a plan to do this all the way back in the nineteen seventies. So Europe has developed their own system called Galileo Russia has something called GLONASS. And of course, China has they do they're working on and they're calling it compass. So they want to be able to separate completely from us. And it makes me wonder why all of a sudden the interest to separate. Well, if you want to not use someone else's GPS, then you can hack that GPS system if you want to cripple military, and this gives the Chinese and opportunity make up for the dark side of the planet. They haven't covered, and they can certainly spy a lot better and disrupt communication. Power grids. I mean, this time the entire grid and other communications sources can be hijacked from the moon and China knows they need to triangulate satellite signals, and so the this gives them an advantage that they can install similar antennas in other parts of the world to make their system complete. I mean, they could and we heard. From Jim Lee. If you remember we were talking with Jim Lee about how they can have portable arrays like Mirage, and they can set up different antenna that can pick up all this information and send out information, and they'd set up stations in Africa and Asia, New Zealand, Australia, just depends on a big make these secret deals to have these secret stations for spying. So for now, the Chinese military will at least use the station in Argentina as a base for their satellite positioning system. We know that GPS is basically geared towards military us, and then we have the civil use of it. So it's ridiculous to think that the Chinese military won't use their own GPS system, and it's also evident that once they become independent. They can do whatever they want with other GPS systems during their war scenarios, if they have any to have and China would also have the power to spy on oil activities and intercept messages from fishing military ships in the south Atlantic, and we need to remember that information. Isn't always sent by cable. It's sent by satellite. No matter how encrypted it is. We know the Chinese aren't data hacky communications and with quantum technology. They have the power to break encryption, and they up a quantum computer in a satellite a few years ago. So a lot of spooky things are actually happening on the moon to prior to the Chinese so-called success. We have had a taste of what it would be like if the internet of things just suddenly became inert. And that things are brought to a whole by hackers with advanced untraceable, tools and need. I remind you. That the media has not answered nor have they given us any. Idea as to why on the twenty seventh of December. We had a nationwide outage of CenturyLink CenturyLink. Of course, when it went down it shut down nine one, one emergency services and this dragged on and on and on. Towards the end of December. So this outage, of course, you know, that's an explain the media didn't go into detail. I mean is that was doing the preparation of the show? I wanted to find stories on CenturyLink. I couldn't find stories. There are mostly limited to internet and some newspapers. There were no reports on any news sources that are video. So I couldn't get any audio. So, but we do know is is this this CenturyLink hit this outage hit. Basically took out telephone internet TV service, and this was in Idaho. New Mexico in Minnesota it spread throughout the country. And when you look at the company side is I was looking today. They have residential services in thirty five states. They are the third largest provider of cable and cell service, and it affected nine one one services across the country where a lot of people at eleven thirty at night here on the west coast. Got a little message saying, oh, by the way. Your nine one one services out, and it was reported a couple of days ago, the FCC launched an investigation into the matter. However that investigation has been put on hold why because of the government shutdown. Now what else happened during that CenturyLink failure? Well. It's eerily coupled with the two explosions at a substation in New York and whizzy Anna CenturyLink is headquartered in Monroe, Louisiana. As I said, it's the third largest telecommunications company in the United States in terms of line served. That's behind AT and T Verizon. It's important to note that the third largest telecommunications company being crippled mysteriously created a whole hell of a lot of chaos in one night. Plus the explosions in New York and the explosions in Louisiana at substations. Now, what was going on? I don't have all the answers. But it certainly seems very very mysterious and spooky that we don't have many answers. Because a lot of the information that we can gather is all dried up and with a limited staff, and you know, not being able to travel out to Monroe or call sweet CenturyLink to get some commentary. They completely shut down. And they don't talk about it. And on the same night is the CenturyLink outage. It was a server outage at the Los Angeles Times newspaper. Yeah. The Los Angeles Times newspaper shut down. It was actually a malware attack that originated from outside the United States and hobbled computer systems and delayed weekend delivers the Los Angeles Times and other newspapers across the country. Technology teams worked like crazy to quarantine. The computer virus was in the computers, but it's spread through the Tribune publishing network and reinfected systems crucial news production and printing processes multiple newspapers around the country were affected by this malware attack because they share a production platform. So the attack delayed distribution of the Saturday, Saturday dishes of the Los Angeles Times, the San Diego union Tribune. And it also kind of halted distribution of the west coast dishes, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times printed the Los Angeles Times Olympic printing plant in downtown, Los Angeles. So is suspected that the attack. Well, they can't necessarily pinpointed. Because of spoofing and all this stuff. But they were thinking that the attack was from China because the malware was also a well known ransomware. Rent went somewhere virus called Riach, which infected hundreds of thousands of computers in China. While people were trying to download certain programs for the we chat in China. So they're kind of saying well, this kind of happened in China. Maybe the Riach originate from China this tack and. And it's just a lot of coincidences in fact as I was preparing the show today. I'm trying to find it's on my Facebook. Actually, I believe somebody had sent a a bulletin and I saw this on Yahoo. But I never really looked into it. I'm kind of looking at it right now. I'm going down the list of things here that people have sent me. And I've got Steve it's still there. I mean, I know that a fish out. Okay. Here we go. This is something that was left by Casey. And this is what it says it says travel advisory January third twenty nineteen China level to exercise increased caution exercise increased caution in China due to arbitrary enforcement of local laws as well as special restrictions on US signing Chinese nationals. Chinese authorities have asserted broad authority to prohibit US citizens from leaving China by using exit ban. Sometimes keeping you as citizens in China for years China uses exit bans coercively to compel US citizens to participate in Chinese government investigations delory. Individuals back to China. From abroad and to Chinese authorities and resolving civil disputes paper Chinese parties. So we have a level to exercise extreme caution in China right now, it was a travel advisory for those US Chinese nationals in those travelling to China. So something is up. We have this alert. And there was another alert that was issued. I'll share with you as well about..
