"And restaurants and a lot of cooking a lot of cooking stuff. And they had a huge online presence. They had a YouTube channel, where they were getting 3,000,004 million hits, People watching these videos and shows they had host of these shows and stuff. And then over the summer, they're their CEO, Their head guy at the magazine. A picture of him from 13 years ago came out him and his wife at a Halloween party dressed as I don't recall the inner city people people said he had black face on. He did not have any black face on, but he was dressed. Maybe a Zagat, Puerto Rican there in New York, and that's a thing there. And nobody had ever thought anything of it. But now in this day and age, somebody posted that picture online. He had never hidden and it was sitting on his desk and it started a whole discussion and then people of color at the at the magazine said they weren't being paid like other people, and you kind of listen to their story. You think well are you're not being paid because you're a person of color there. This is a liberal magazine in New York City. I mean, let's let's face who we are here. This This isn't Fox News. This is a liberal magazine Akani Nastya liberal liberal company and everybody there is a is a Democrat liberal, and and now they're saying that they're not paying people of color. The same is repaying white people. And my question was well. Are they not paying you because you're more junior or you were hired more recently or because you don't have as much responsibility or whatever it may be, or is because you're a person of color and I mean, they've hired you have all these people there and it created this whole backlash. The head guy had to quit. The other people resigned. They all the employees stop doing the videos until they got it worked out several more people. People of color resigned. And now the magazine has come out with a new editor in chief. A new Everybody's new Everybody is zah diverse. Everybody's a person of color who's now running things and The magazine is doing this intensive makeover. Where when you go through now, if they're gonna, they're gonna have AH, recipe for Mexican food or Latin food or something that has to come from a Latin author. In other words, you can't write a Mexican food recipe unless your message and you can't do a recipe for Jewish food unless you're Jewish. My goodness. What? And then they're putting disclaimers on as if people are becoming offended now to read a recipe about food from a particular culture that wasn't written by that culture. It's really pretty amazing when you think about it. It's amazing. All right, everybody, That's

I could know that they're going to know who is at the door before they have to open that door. Go to ring that. Com slash Knowles candidate you el es. That is ring that. Com slash Knowles. Speaking of degradation and a lack of reason. And the new standards, Peter is giving us an even more radical set of standards. Tina is very concerned about species is, um, This is a story from last week. We didn't have time to get to it, but I think it actually fits in better with what we're talking about this week. So, Peter writes quote. Words can create a more inclusive world or perpetuate oppression. Calling someone an animal as an insult reinforces the myth that humans are superior to animals and justified in violating them. Stand up for justice by rejecting supremacist language. All gobbledygook, but it gets even crazier. In the image that's Pete attach is to this They say using animals as insults perpetuates species is, um, species into the new racism, I guess for the new sexism or whatever. Instead of chicken, say coward. Instead of rat say, snitch instead of snakes, a jerk and stuffed pig say, repulsive instead of sloth, say, lazy because otherwise the slots feelings will be hurt and that that's no good for anybody. Most people have been talking about this and making fun of it is just a kind of ridiculous example of the extremes of the left. There is something deeper here that I think undergirds a far more mainstream cut of the left. They want us to fight against species is, um, because it reinforces the myth that humans are superior to animals. And this is sort of supremacist so too Briefly try to understand what all of that nonsense means. Their argument is this hyper egalitarian argument that we can't be supremacists. Every not just every person has to be equal to every person. But every and not just equal as a matter of this sort of natural rights or spiritual quality before God, But you know, equality of outcome, equality of property, equality of condition. It is not just among people. It's among animals to that any kind of natural hierarchy the difference between me and a cockroach. And between the Angels and may write any kind of natural hierarchy. Is, uh Is wrong. It's illegitimate Supremacist. Okay? Obviously, that's crazy, but you start with crazy premise. You get to crazy places. We therefore because we're just the same as animals, right? We're no different than animals. We need to use all of these kinds of words and we need to change the meanings of words. More broadly, it's kind of the politically correct project. Speech is what distinguishes human beings from other animals when you rob words of their meaning, when you utterly pervert words when you try to use the distortion of words to rewrite reality. You rob human beings of our humanity. You do exactly what Peter is trying to do you lower us to the level of animals of brutes, which is what has happened to our politics, you'll notice or politics has become far less reason for less sophisticated over the past couple of decades. If you look out, I mean, the classic example is look at the Lincoln Douglas debates these debates that would last for hours. It wasn't sniping and interrupting each other with foul language and Jabs and barbs and all these kind of vulgar things. They were making very, very long reasoned argument, and people would stand there and listening for hours. Now, if you watch the most recent presidential debates You'll see how how degraded. It's become this because our language has become very degraded to our attention span. Our ability to reason has become very degraded as that happens are Republican form of government. Starts to crack starts to break. As I said, we're sort of coming apart at the scenes. Now politics becomes less the matter of reason. Groups debating one another, and it becomes the matter of brute interest. We no longer have high flying oratory. We have grunts and shouts and screams and, ultimately, political violence in the streets like animals. Geeta is not just making some flippant sort of silly radical comment. They are prophesying. What is happening right now, which is that we are lowering ourselves to the level of animals were giving the left exactly what they want and Society does not seem the better for it, at least from my vantage. Now there is at least one area of disagreement between a leftist interest group and the liberal establishment. Namely Liberal establishment wants us to eat bugs They do they do. Don't doubt me on this. I'm not being hyperbolic. Obviously, I think Peter would take some issue with this with eating bugs. But the The liberal sort of mainstream of neo liberal globalized left has been trying to get us to eat bugs for many years. The Economist just ran a headline on this. The economist, the classic sort of center left liberal magazine. You say? Yes, we still think the world should be eating more insects. Still not convinced we explain why bugs air coming to a table near you in the world in 2021. Noticed this language. This is always the language you hear from the Mainstream left this language of inevitability. We think you should eat bugs. You're not convinced we were going to tell you why you will eat bugs, not why you will want to eat bugs, not why you will choose to eat bugs. But you will eat the bugs. You know when, when people today when all the advanced modern people talk about Oh, in the dark ages, people lived there this horrible life O in the middle Ages and in eight antiquity I was so terrible. You mean antiquity with the Roman Empire? You mean the middle Ages of the height of Christendom, the height of Western art and architecture. We were building beautiful gothic cathedrals instead of hideous, modern architectural. Blights on our on our landscape. They're so ugly and disgusting. You mean that? You mean the antiquity in Middle Ages where there was ah, cultivated sense of taste. Rather than eating the bugs..

"I'm glad to glad to be listening This morning. I'm calling from home today. I do have a couple of stories working at the home office here. It is just getting crazier and crazier with how for the progressive left. Um, as you know, Pat Nancy Pelosi, Right. So first she is banning gender terms like Mother, daughter and father and son in the House rules, right? Then you had them open up. This is going viral today. The prayer. Did you see this in 117? No, I didn't see it. They ended the prayer with a men and a woman. And for their Amen is Latin for so be it. It is nice. It has nothing to do with the man. Yet. That's how the so called creature ends The prayer to push this progressive. This is the new won't Will female minister right? Well, this was a guy that game. It was a guy. I thought she appointed a new person as a woman to take over. Now it was some guy just giving a prayer. He might be temporary. Okay. It was during the opening the 117 congress. But facts don't matter Not to the progressive Left is just all about. Pushing this crazy narrative and then Nancy Pelosi again banning gender terms like Mother and daughter, Father and son in the House rules. Check that out, and you think that's crazy, Bad cosmopolitan. Pretty liberal magazine. They're celebrating. Listen to this 10 beef women as being healthy, So they took pictures of her and on the very cover of the magazine and then rather Lord woman And they're celebrating a stealthy It's really something else would check out that story. Here's one on the local front. I heard you discussing the city earlier. Very sad time for Baltimore City. The violence in 2020 ended with 300. In 35 murders. 48 of them were women and girls. But at least they're banning those plastic bags packed so we should be. They're going to tear down statues, too. Yeah, At least they got rid of it. I feel like the future is rosy and optimistic with Mayor Scott Brandon Scott. I think things are going to be just absolutely wonderful with this young man. Yes, And how much we go back in the session next? What? Next week? 113. Do you think they'll be focusing on Baltimore? Crime and violence? Nothing. Nothing about victims. Nothing about public safety. It's incredible, but, well, you have a lot of fun down there, Delegate Well, Yeah, well, I anticipate it being take your stress pills, You know, Take your stress pills will do will pass off you tomorrow. All right, my friend Courtney, you know, got elected to the house of delegates, a wonderful young man. You go down there and put up with that when I put up with for 16 years. Here's my consent of ill morning, Mike. You don't, sir. Good. What's up? Hey, I just wanted to let you know that two quick things. One is Think that the GOP we have to start focusing on some of the GOP folks that are actually the word not even on our side. I think one of the million we run into this We focus on these Democrats on this is what Democrats do. It's not a big deal. I just wait. We know what they're going to do. Yeah, I think it's unfortunate that we're not pinpointing the individuals that are supposed to be on our side targeting them. And I mean, in a positive way as well. I'll let you in on something. Michael, let you in on something you might not be aware of. Oven. A rhino has been targeting good conservative Republicans in the state Legislature, and he lost a bunch of men the last election. Yeah, I'm aware that he's is some of the funding to do that. But again, we have the people put him in office. He can still choose to do that. I guess my point is, is that our delicate have to stand up and they're gonna have to pull their swords out and start pointing the fingers at that. And the other thing. Well, listen, you got a point your fingers at that, because if you're going to be a conservative and you're going to be in the Republican party and you're going to fight against the socialist fascist, you can't be wishy washy and go along with them, and the governor's actions have destroyed or harm greatly harmed the Republican Party in Maryland. Yes, And you're 100% correct. And my point still is, though, that we have the people and we have to get our delegates to start pointing the fingers at the people that were going along to get along and these people have to be Targeted with votes they have removed in. The last thing is when it comes to the education over here on the Eastern shore. I'm very familiar with what happened and it's it's shameful, and it's sad that such great teachers and principals Over here, and when it comes the home schooling we pulled our kids out and so many others have done, so, it's said. It's a wonderful thing. But the power of home schooling is absolutely magnificent. And if people are interested in something they should look at But like I said, it's great to see more and more mothers and fathers actually getting involved. And when you get to a point where you ask your kid a question, and here she doesn't know this And they're in sixth or seventh grade. You realized not only what the hell what have they been doing? We've been pain for a very scary if we can't take care of her Children. What kind of country are we living in? In Baltimore County. We have a real mess, and we have a lot of mothers and we have a lot of parents fighting. We have a lot of super citizens in Baltimore County, and we were about ready to take some very, very important steps in Baltimore County in the next couple of weeks, But, Mike, thank you have yourself a healthy new year appreciate the call. And, uh, well, we're almost done..

"I. WanNa. Talk to you about the magic bullet of instruction. So what is more important to a school than teaching and learning. You know there's so many things that teachers have to do Bush duty lunch duty lesson plans, call parents, talk to students I P's specially. There's so many things that a teacher has to do but the most important thing sometimes, it not necessarily focused. A holding all schools, the most important thing. Behind Safety. Is Teaching and learning in a school as a matter of fact, seems like sometimes that can be put on a burner. Now, you may not agree with me that teaching and learning is put on the backburner your school however, I'm GonNa say in some places that I was is that the last thing we actually talked about was, how can we improve our teaching and how can we improve what our students are learning? I think that when that conversation becomes on the forefront, then some of the other problems that we are actually dealing with Dan specifically are taking care of it seems like a lot of times some people and clued in myself. Now, nominee administrator can get to the point to where you can't see the forest for the trees and have to stop and remind myself what is the most important thing that our students are GonNa need the GonNa have to be able to regulate their own learning and then our most important asset in our school. What is going to keep teachers in the field of teaching it is enhancing their teaching. The more effective teacher is the more fulfilled they will be. The more fulfilled. The teacher is then the more fulfil de Learner ease so I like to look at the magic bullet sword I like to call if there is a magic bullet or something that will lease cut the lawn specifically for teaching and learning is incorporating the foresees of education. So the I see that I like to talk about is critical thinking and can I use critical thinking when I'm determining and floorboard soggy a practical way to use a critical thinking assignment using a flip ward magazine I you WanNa create a Liberal magazine Laissez topic. I'm going to use a science topic of formations as something that we're going to critically think about I am going to put in this magazine a series of pictures probably before and after. K. Before and after just different rock formations and. Engage. My students to think critically by asking students questions about these pictures that I've posted in his magazine. I want you to describe for me what you see in this picture. Now the reason why you're doing that is because you want the students to analyze the picture and pull out the evidence and then have them type what they see in the compensation, all the Flit Board magazine, and what that does is it bills a comet so their students can see what other students are writing. And therefore formulates a class discussion simply just by using the APP. Now, here's something that you may not know as a teacher is that you can share a private magazine students or you can share a public magazine. So my first thought is that if I were you, I would share a private magazine. I would ask an application based question Look at this picture give them a Senate stem so that they can start their writing and that they can focus their writing of just analytical wings of rock formations and talk about how what? Do you see how does one pitcher relate to the other and in a magazine? Not think that that right there is a very engaging way to use critical thinking and of flew aboard magazine. The next magazine that I was share is a creativity magazine. The couple of ways you can do this creativity by using floorboard You can't show students works being creative and share with parents. You can also have a magazine that you would make public so that anybody who has the Co can see it. You can share on. Social. Media? You can share on on any flip board share on Google plus You can share it on twitter you share on. FACEBOOK surreally cool way to do it of students being creative in the classroom just random creativity acts and let students use Google docs to take a picture of something that they did. That was that they felt that there was very creative and let them write a seven sentence description of what they felt was creative. So what you're doing near twofold because not only are you asking students to be creative before you're asking him also to write and analyze the my first example about critical thinking to ride and analyze how and why they were creative put that in a magazine and they share with the community. You also can generate a qr code from the link from the clipboard magazine and just post at around the school in different areas and go on a gallery walk take students on a gallery walk, and then have the students use the devices where they were scandal Qr Code, and they can look at other students creativity as as an inspirational who or as a gallery walk around out to get students up and moving especially if you're going to be in the classroom and. You need to take a mass break students are GonNa be going to school would mask and what better way to get students binds focused on education especially during a mass break or rest areas to have them bring their device have them scan qr codes that maybe are around a way that students are GonNa be resting and relaxing it's really cool or and then also to if you are in order setting, let's do comment on other creative ideas or something that students felt were creative. I think a very powerful tool about flip board, which is which add to the discussion of of any class is allowing students to peer review each other's work and to talk about it and just a not necessarily all off talk topic. But slightly off topic of conversations where students can be report with each other, it doesn't always have to be about science doesn't always have to be about math. It could be slightly off topic however, just something that will come rotary in the classroom. On the next thing I like to talk about is collaboration. How can dunes collaborate do floorboard which is really cool. Flip Board has a tool that allows you to share your magazine with other students. So on the flip war main page where you're online or are you on the APP, you can click the share button. When you click the share button, then it allows you to share a link for. people to view the curation league. But right next to that, there is an invite a contributor and in by inviting a contributor more than.

"What are the Democrats gonna do in an situation? Well. a liberal magazine the atlantic ever isaac divert goes and talks to the democrats they were all in south carolina over the weekend there were there for the big fish fry clyburn fish fry and they were talking about all kinds of stuff but they weren't talking very much about iran and i mean this is this weekend but everything with iran just happened you figured that will be the time to talk about it Few candidates, even said the word Iran. Let alone explain what they'd actually do about the tensions between the two countries. Basically, they're playing get Trump out. elizabeth warren quote no one knows what happens next including donald trump but it's a dangerous time for america and for the world Well, the guy said, yeah. but the speech you just gave and the rest of the primary campaign has been about that she said well it is it's about the chaos and the fact that he thinks this country should run for his own personal benefit and hate should be normalized that has nothing to do the rant and it's just terribly in your opinion and nonsense But most of the democratic candidates seem to believe Trump wants war, even though, of course he keeps saying he doesn't and so far as actions have showed that he doesn't. But they're not talking about what they wanna do said on Friday evening. Each candidate, so to speak had chance to speak for few minutes at this fish fry. Only one candidate Ensley said anything about Iran, and it was mostly just the point out that he was against the Iraq war. So when he he said when I asked these people individually they mostly said optimistic generalities, rejoin the Iran, nuclear deal pursue alliances prioritize diplomacy. That's it. That's what you do with the right. Yeah. Yeah. and i guess that's enough for their voters and that allows them to continue to you know rip on trump because they don't have to say what they would do meanwhile trump is saying that everybody said i was a warmonger now they say i'm a dove i'm just a man mecom sense so reporter asked him what's next is there a possible is a possible strike off the table he said well we'll see we'll see what it is with iran everybody was saying i'm warmonger now the samadov i think i'm neither if you want to know the truth i'm a man will come and sense and that's what we need in this country common sense But I didn't like the idea of them knowingly shooting down an unmanned drone and then Michael hundred fifty people I didn't like. but if the leadership of iran behaves badly then it's going to be a very very bad day for them the hopefully they're smart hopefully they really care for their people and not themselves Now, here's the other thing, then then Trump gets into some of his aides that won't war. And specifically he was asked by Chuck Todd about Michael Bolton. and here's what trump said on that he said i've got to groups of people i have dubs and i have hawks i have some hawks john bolton absolutely hof it was up to him he take on the whole world at one time okay that doesn't matter because i won't bow size in other words he's not letting that change his mom greg knapp in for sniff Todd Schnitt live every weekday afternoon.

"Die for our country. You oughta be smart enough to figure out if you can buy a pack of cigarettes are not. It is so absolutely. Outrageous, new Brighton. Just voted for it. They're so stupid throw their sorry, butts out of there to it is it just it just irradiates me that they, they think they're there are mommies and daddies, and that they have to try to control every single aspect of our lives. It makes me so mad and you know what? If you're gonna raise if you're gonna raise the age to buy cigarettes to twenty one then I want the age to vote up to twenty one. Yep. All of it, and join the military everything just make everything Twenty-one. It's absolutely ridiculous. How they think they can come in and make these decisions you're going to see them. You know, you really have to question yourself, and you have to ask the ask the Democrats win to the Democrats think children are worthy and valuable and that achievement gap, especially in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. That's an outright failure of public education. That's an outright failure, and something has to be done. Well that something should have been done on that yesterday. There's also millions and millions of dollars this year. They gave out twenty three twenty four million dollars for racial disparities under even know what that is. They don't even know what it is. They don't know where the money goes. They don't know if it, they say, education, and job opportunities. What does that mean does it even work or is it just lying in someone's pocket like we saw so often in Minneapolis, like we saw so often with, with state money being handed out to people with no accountability. No responsibility. It's duplicate redundant programs that are ineffective and don't work. There has got to be some accountability, and somebody's got to stand up and start making these things happen. Other bills that we're gonna see over there. Lots more bills for economic development and housing. I talk about the met council a lot. You watch the port authority, the port. Tori is the met council. It's, it's like the met council only it's economic development. We're all gonna also going to see a lot more anti-business bills like paid paid family leave or fifteen dollars an hour, famous Dave's just announced uptown. Yeah. You can go to the counter and get your food. They're giving a given this new dismay plan a try, you know why? Because government drove up the cost of labor, and guess what? You get higher prices, and fewer jobs. Go figure just what we told them was going to happen. They they're also you're going to see bills on the ER a they call it an equal rights amendment. It's not this is about gender equality. Only one state has passed a gender equality law. And there's no legal definition for gender, but the state of Minnesota likes to do stupid things like that. We're gonna talk about that one more. Governor governor waltz shoving his one care. That's the public option. That's the precursor to. Single payer. I am just so furious that the Republicans caved on Minnesota's medical provider, tax that medical provider taxes attacks on sick people don't ever forget that. That's one point five billion dollars that tacked on our medical bills are chiropractor. Bill are dental Bill tacked onto our bills and they used as a slush fund. They use it as a slush fund. It is absolutely. Outrageous. The other thing whilst is trying to move forward a lot. You're seeing a lot of coverage on this. In fact, when we get into some of our local stuff, I'll talk a little bit more about it. The climate alarmist are going crazy. Whilst wants to see one hundred percent clean energy. You have to remember their renewable energy. It's green. It's not clean, and it's not cheap and a lot of people can talk about global warming. A lot of people can talk about climate change. And of course, all the left has to call. Call us. Names, and you just have to say there is a discrepancy on who is causing who and what is causing the climate to change, and who and what kind of solutions are going to be affect at addressing any any of the changes that come true. I am so sick of all the scare tactics that they put in place. I am so sick of all of it. I just it just drives me absolutely crazy. Al you've been so patient. Let's take your call. I here today. Hey, L, welcome to the show. How you doing? I wanna back you when you run for governor, I ran for governor and eleven Wapping percent of the primary voters voted for me if I would've won, Al, if I would've won we wouldn't be in this mess. I governor I'd still be governor. I just wanted to mention about the. The last forty years every year. The state of Minnesota needs more money for school and nothing ever changes. Right. And it's getting worse yet. Sickening. In the latest Bill. They gave the U of M, what one point five billion or something. It was quite that much. But the U of M regions met this past week and they said, yeah, the legislature gave us whole bunch of money. It's not nearly enough. We're still jacking up the tuition rates on believable. Billions in their coffers. Yeah, they do. They're in down fund is over two billion dollars. It's crazy. And nobody knows that they think the poor, you is just starving to death. They're not. Just pumping lies liberal, liberal magazine. Well and you know what else? They're pumping out kids, who just aren't ready to tackle the world. You know how far can you go with a master's in puppetry, or gender, whatever? You know mean who hires you besides government government pays really well? Wanna talk quickly about is the insanity of this. Daycare and the welfare system. Immigrants. I read a story last week, a woman with four children when they come here, they're small or whatever. And they're immediately indoctrinated impact to run the system yet they are. You know, I work at the I volunteer at the one of the food shelves and I love it, and I work in the mornings, and I stock shelves and make look really, really nice for people who come in and get things because their families going through a tough time, but in the front right when you walk in there are pamphlets for I, I don't even know what coat next week and find out how how many different programs, there are for people to sign up it, it's just astonishing how many programs the state of Minnesota, the city, the county mostly the county has people can take advantage of to help them. It's unbelievable. Teaching these women how to start small businesses, and they start a daycare center in all of a sudden they're being paid one thousand dollars per child. And they're taking care of their own children. Yeah, it's amazing. Well, and even personal care attendants, you get paid to take care of your own kid. It's yeah. It's out of control L. Thank you for your phone call preciado. It, it is, it's out of control people in nobody seems to be wanting to do anything about it. I want to talk a little bit about some of the local programs as well, because people do not understand how many I talked about how stupid new Brighton, was to say the, the that in New Britain, new head to be twenty one years old purchase to purchase cigarettes. How stupid are they do they think hey, you eighteen nineteen and twenty year olds are not adults are is the City New Brighton, so much smarter than you that they have to outlaw you from buying a legal product. It's absolutely astonishing. Well, your cities in your counties are doing a lot more of that stuff that you don't even. Hear about. And you say I don't smoke. I don't care. That's not the point people. It's not about smoking. It's about them trampling on somebody else's rights when are you going to, you know what? It's only a matter of time before they trample on your rights, and who's going to be there to stand up for, you know, one well, I will be, but I always we had some movement on the same Paul organized trash collection this past week. You might remember two weeks ago. I had the lawyer on and he talked about the awesome ruling we had how Saint Paul track trampled on trampled on, on their rights and, and the city lied. Oh, just like New Britain did the city lied. And they said guess what that should have been a ballot question. They petitioned to have it on the ballot, and you said they, they did something wrong, will they didn't. It was legit and you should've taken care, taking care of that. So I think this is really important. Because I think the bad PR got to mayor Carter and Melvin Carter actually put an article in the pioneer press and said, let's make citywide trash collection. Better together together. No Melvin Carter leave us alone. Do you know when I was taking out the garbage in recycling at at the food shelf last week? I actually got got very upset talking to two of the ladies, who were working, they're talking about one of them made the mistake of saying she thought organized trash would be a good idea. I'm like, oh, hell no. And I had to tell her, you know, that would Jack up my costs over two hundred dollars a year. We had a lot of people in new Brighton, who live on fixed incomes. We have a lot of families that are just starting out a lot of senior citizens, and no way to I want the government coming in. And she tried to tell me, oh, there'd be less trucks, driving around, and I go big deal. They're all the roads are built. To spec. Most of the trucks are electric trucks, now, they're quieter, and all of this kind of stuff, I think, I think people were really surprised that I felt so adamant that we did not need government coming in coming into work up to decide what trash collection we could use or not use, and I told him how in Saint Paul that people couldn't share trash cans anymore, or couldn't decide, I mean, it was just all flat out decided by the city. I talked about Robin stale, how the city came in after one year of a certain amount to pick up your trash, and they came back. They said, whoa, you guys have way too much credit trash. Now we're going to Jack it up. We're going to tack on this fee, that fee and this fee, I, I was just really disgusted that mayor Melvin Carter wrote this op Ed to make citywide trash collection, better together, when Carter and the council ignored the will of the people they ignored the city charter, the people had to sue their government again. Again, they had to sue their government and they won. And then the mayor came right back and said, oh, yeah, we're going to appeal it. And then he threatened a Jack up their property taxes. How's that for working together? It isn't, but people were so mad he had to write the op-ed, Joe Suchet even did piece on it in pioneer press. And he said Joe sushi wrote we are poorly led under one party rule. There's no check and balance. Save gratefully a judge. And it isn't really a party. That's, that's running the city. It's an ideology with them marching lockstep to the tune of what that of that. They know what's best for us. Oh, yeah. Then MPR decided they better published an article about how awesome organized trash collection is what a joke, don't, don't even tell me for a minute that, that our media is good because they stink point blank. Okay. We'll take a quick break. When we come back, I'll tell you about some just other crazy things. Your local governments are doing and remind you again, pay attention to what your local government is doing. And think about running for mayor or city council or county Commissioner. Oh, I got an update on Ramsey county Commissioner one two that's going to be a great race. There are already eleven candidates. Stay tuned.
