"Whereas the access service means that where the where part of the external team saw out, give the example of Liam broady, not easy to spend maybe six to ten weeks a year with us, but mall kill to was very much the lead coach who was fully accountable for Liam's development, but mock would monitor me in the academy and say rights I wanted to come in and I want them to a physical block. Want him to come in and I want them to train on play for a couple of weeks. One of to come in and I won't Donald you travel with Liam of the two or three weeks. That would be used. In different ways not will be varying again like I say Don Evans comes and prepares on clay down. We have some eight nine year olds that come in as long as the level is relevant, and they're coming in with the right attitude that we provide that all the two people year round and tell me. Do you do any short-term calms? La Times a functional tennis. We get requests for more recreation older adults that say. Trump players from the states younger players from states, and they want somewhere to train for a to treat four weeks during the summer. Is that our day programs? You provider, does not you? We do it currently on our facility where a beautiful facility, but we've got six colts three three Clare so in terms of if if the player is a relevant level, age and stage of development to players that we have at the academy that absolutely so we kind of look at that bespoke manner you know in the in the summer months three open our doors to. To sixteen players a week, the access whereas throughout the year we only have full places available each week. Because we, we WANNA make sure that as a full-time player itself so tennis, you know you absolutely getting locked off to the very best of our ability in always, and the same with access plays that come in. We kind of wanted all the reason why you know so in terms, recreational coming implant are in the balding. We don't run comes like that, but what we do have is we have the offering of wheelhouse? Maybe a come in that want. To join on a or get stuck in two three hours a day. Level players and then maybe the younger brother who wants one individual less than a day while he's there. You know all maybe the. Wants to do that and the same with adults we've had probably on average. We have three to four adult groups. Come out to year. Who you know, they'll come out and we'll that provide very bespoke package for Walt they won't you know so? What we don't tend to do is if someone wants to coverages red towel coal. Because actually, it doesn't make business sense because we don't a premium, the academy you know if we were if we had twenty five colts and someone wanted to read some colts to run to come and play plan their own tennis than up of course out makes business model sense. But when if you got someone committing not paying a whole lot of money to take your colts away, it causes a bit of a loggerhead with what we're trying to do at the academy, but we do have some some bespoke groups that come in and say this is what we're off to a couple of hours coaching in the morning and maybe set up A. A local match for a couple of afternoons a week in on some help with best restaurants to go to you know so we do have that element, but it's our coal business okay, and for the younger players to come there you have residents on site or did they live nearby Eso web partners with Grendades National School, which is a which is a fantastic school. We actually wrote a gain program with the school, which which allows players to to do almost time school, but still getting the relevant relevant causes that they need this. So. Let's say the fourteen to sixteen year olds they leave school at one o'clock each day, and then the sixteen to eighteen year olds start school at three o'clock. Not Rugs with the Gulf Academy now where that's relevant questions, wfan gone round. The house is a little bit. is they all they all stand holding house at the International School so so the boarding house at the International School is brilliant. It's it's amazing we then how access plas- who coming without their parents? We have a full pastoral care offering. Full them. You know so they have. Three meals a day. The food's fantastic. We were nutritionist on the food. You know this then this nurses on site. You know they've got all of the. The pastoral can place this classroom so place coming over the need to study for a couple of hours on an evening. You know they've got the lounges to what the TV and you know. It's a very. Modern at boarding house. which which works extremely well and the same with groups coming over is always that option that we have groups that come over. They stay in the boarding house. All. The other option is if they travel with adults than we. We get apartments that are all within walking distance of the academy. So, yes, so that this is different boarding in accommodation. That are in place if they're a little bit older than what we have is, we have been a self K. to. Altered all of the players stand a couple of houses which are within one hundred yards from the from the academy, but they obviously have to be of the age that there are self sufficient to do that with looks like they're well. Look you look after them pretty well and many coaches you have is. We got seven seven fulltime tennis coaches and soon to be three full-time strength and conditioning coaches. which so yeah, we were at work. It works well. WE'VE GOT A. Really, Strong, coaching team, and as I as I touched on at the Straw. Really are people that come in work itself come to be part of the family of the lifestyle..

Is a no German covert has been tougher. All academies coaches players for everybody every line of business, but I think you've handled it really well. You've been really progressive. and. You've been really busy I heard. You say you haven't been off. Have Not Day off and fourteen weeks like that since went is covert, really started and I want to hear more Beth data. What worked for you? What didn't work about you and how I fade? You'RE GONNA commander. This stronger than you did going into it, which is not the case for everybody, so be great to get some insight into that the obsolete. It's been a fina testing challenge. Challenge in time I think the everybody globally in offset it on a couple of our podcasts. It's almost that I think that's helped us all little bit that everybody's in the same boat you know. I think is been a there's been a connection that people have made through this pandemic and I always a big believer. The adversity says a lot you know, says a lot about tennis. Pledges says a lot about people I have to admit I had a brilliant. Brilliant team over the last few weeks you know. I sometimes get some of the praise for the initiatives, but there's a law. Grad people behind me that doing the work and work and extremely hard, while so feel very fortunate and feel feel very connected to my team and brought us closer together, and you know like like you said I. Hope a law because things will come out of this as well. I agree and I also think. Think that by you did order academy that pushes damn to do more delay. Cut Dance Killing it over there at soda. Look at what he's doing for the community on, so that gets that gives damage kickoff the archambault good. We better do something here on, so yeah, okay, let's start wit. How did you get into coach? Maybe talk us a bit about your your tennis days and you pro. And yet how you ended up down in Spain. Yeah so. There's a longer version and I'll try to bowl the listeners too much, but like a law plays balking in the days, so I was a nineteen eighty baby. So back in the day from Minolta East of England football. Is this really? Played football to a decent level with fortunate to have a couple of older brothers who got me into sports and kind of bullied me with being. Slow about young age so I, kind of they started eight I started at five I was kind of the fortunate third child with two older brothers. And yet didn't really know if I was any good, but I guess just fucking. The data's loved playing sports love playing football of Glynn tennis. It all became a little bit more serious age fourteen these I was offered a place at the national. Academy down at Bisham Abbey. which meant leaving home you know not was. At the time. I was playing football for Middle School of Excellence I guess it would be Middlesboro Adamy nowadays, so there was a bit of attendance old football decision to make a point also moving away from a very close family, on which was which was very scary. So took that leak. Hot Folders Down Bisham Abbey before being. Quite fortunate a gain in Dot Times almost falling to the opportunity to go to college. And when I was in college, I actually started doing a little bit of coaching so just to make a little bit of extra cash. To pay some bills and admit. It always felt quite right and quite easy to meet the coach. I've got a family. Full of school teaches from parents. Brother sister aunties uncles cullens so I think it's kind of a teaching way. Natural Teaching ways the way I was brought up, so it tended to just feel quite natural for me to be part of teaching and connecting with people so then when I played played on the Pro Tour I always said actually. I got a marketing degree in American I. Always said that I would go into marketing. And I wouldn't wouldn't stay completely in tennis in terms of. Trucks don't every day on. However as I was playing my pro career. I, I started to do a little bit of coaching bus priory as as you get with of tennis. China I was number. One doubles play about one fifty in the world, but I wasn't making enough room. I playing to can keep me going so I started doing that a few hours ex Boston priory, and an as kind of not truly. Kind of not truly took over reading my playing. I just not remember two thousand five I, would actually coaching almost fulltime, but still playing tournaments, and we actually went our first round of Wimbledon and lost a tight master, the Bryan brothers, and all my students were there watching that was it gave me I say this to to coach his players all the time..

"I suppose playing domestically may will be the first step for the return of tennis really because international travel. Is that much more difficult right now. This minute. It's difficult to see it quite where the international calendar is going to be able to resume because of the point that you because of the point that you've made so we're starting to scenario plan for a whole range of different Eventualities whether a return to international tool for our top players and how we can help support and prepare them in readiness to that or indeed in the absence of the tour returning throughout the course of this year how we can step up and have a more comprehensive domestic calendar as in when the circumstances allow here and as as when we can start to put on events like that. So you know that's something that we're looking at In some ways we think could be a huge opportunity thought for the Ti but obviously the players but for the L. Tean driving some visibility of the sports again and giving offense. You know some exciting tennis to watch. We've been looking at ways to keep people active and unfor- particularly our younger younger fans to play tennis at home. So I would just encourage anybody to check out our website. L. T. I dot Org dot. Uk facebook instagram twitter feeds. Because we've got some great stuff there and I think one of the few governing bodies. This is really good on the front thirteen provided some of our content To try and try and fill those hours whilst Berle so. There's a Scott Lloyd the chief executive of the CIA in Great Britain. I did also send an email to the head of communications from the US TA in the United States to ask their position on whether they're planning to do anything similar. Anna her back from Chris. Whitmire who looks after the communications there he did say the expects the USDA financing support program in the near future Which they're looking at right now and where to redirect and redeploy funding in order to make things work. He says more to follow on that but the did act pretty quickly. The quickest really out of it. We haven't heard of any any of this stuff from any of the other big federations yet as a suspect. Tennis Australia. We're going to do something as well. And it's a Scott was saying I mean it's it's designed to sort of tied these players over and the similar kind of plan in place for coaches as well but there is such an unknown out there. I mean thank goodness they can do something. Yes I mean. It's a fantastic. I mean it's cute generally but it's a fantastic. Pr Coup Video. I mean it's really it's A. It's a fantastic privilege for those involved in tennis. In this country that is able to happen. it's of course linked to Wimbledon income being protected by that pandemic insurance conceal Ta gets a surplus from Wimbledon income is expressed as up list because they're both Not for profit organizations But that doesn't mean the LTA income won't be hit because of course they get they get a grant from the government you know the club revenues of going to be they're going to be hit from from other sides. Do Find it interesting. The loyd is talking about in terms of the impact. This is going to have on on participation in the presence of tennis in the country. Yes I do see that but equally for me what I've always thought of. As one of the biggest challenges for tennis is losing out to all the sports kids the off good at tennis tend also to be very very good other sports and this is something that I think. Tennis Australia is is talked about a lot in a country where most kids play every sport under the Sun. They've sort of more attracted to naturally drawn to team sports and kids. That are really good at tennis up until the age of thirteen. Or so where you have to make a choice and more than not cheese away from tennis will. That's not going to be the case. And all. Yes they might be losing obsolete ground tennis in this country in every country but not going to be losing relative ground to other sports unless you count jumping up and down at the fifth year beds on a Yoga Mat looking treaty. Ridiculous as a sport which I am doing at the moment I I mean I suppose the one difference with with Tennessee depending on how long this takes is the Britain's great shop window is the next three months and if good conditions returned later in the year yes as Scott said that they will do everything within their power to put tennis back in the spotlight and make opportunities available. But you've missed out on Queen's and Wimbledon and that same basic Christianity saying goes for Gulf Ak. Football will be able to. You know. We'll get played all times of the year a couple of months in the summer but cricket Gulf athletics. They're all having entire seasons. Whiteout also losing their their shop windows so I'm not saying it's not a devastating blow but relatively that ground isn't being lost in the way that it might feel. I'm clutching David. I'm clutching the positives. I get your point and I haven't considered it in that in those terms before you mentioned it but but it is a fair point doing anything besides Joe Wicks. Pe or the kids Discovering other sports getting this is better than tennis. Dona d tennis and I think you know for me despite my crooked back and various other ailments I I keep thinking Oh my God. I want to do is be able to play tennis. Yeah that was actually quite nice to hear. Liam broady talk in those terms about just how in love with the Sporty steelers after quite a few years of pro and he twenty six years of age now just to say as well the did announce as part of this package as well as supporting the coaches and officials that did also announced that they were going to need to furlough some of their staff. Scott Lloyd and the rest of the leadership team. There said they're all going to take a twenty percent pay-cut this is going to have an impact on people and we're going to hear more about that from the a little bit later as well have just sent sent out a statement but I I'd like to hear I catherine from a player who is not from one of the Grand Slam nations and I think that this is really important elements to this is the we consider people that just never going to be able to have that kind of backup and Severe Shepherd Tov from Georgia is ranked three hundred and seventy five in the world. She's thirty one years of age. She has been playing for many many years. Oversee now. Can't play currently staying at her parents home and she recently started a petition to To try to draw some attention to the plight of Plas- like yourself and all of her colleagues and Catherine Esther about that our attention is drawn your situation by your your post in the petition that that you've started for for financial support for for lower ranked players from from the sports governing bodies. Could you explain that a little what you're calling for what what made you? What prompted you to start that in the first place and feel like you needed to to take action well. The problem with this petition.

"We have a very different tennis podcast for you today because we wanted to pull back the curtain. Speak to some people involved in the game that we wouldn't normally get to hear from and find out. How the corona virus and the enforced delay the forced cancellation of so much of the tennis. Tour is having an effect on people involved in the game people that are ranked two hundred or three hundred in the world. People that are trying to run tennis tournaments people that are trying to run federations of national tennis countries like the UK. We've been speaking today to the chief executive of the LTA. We've been speaking to the world number two hundred eleven. Liam broady the world number three hundred seventy five on. The women's side is being putting together a petition to try to find a way to support players. That are struggling financially. We've had responses from the tours and Catherine wigger myself here to talk all about it and Catherine overnight. We've had the first words of the new Chairman Andrey Gardens e talking to a group of Italian media on a conference call which Simon Briggs has written up. That's quite interesting. And he's also Catherine given some information that he believes to be being talked about the moment that the US Open might end up being played indoors. Yeah. Today was a day when Simon didn't wake up to discover he'd been scrapes by Mike Dixon. Yeah weighty interesting story from from Simon Breaks on on a number number of levels. I'm going to talk about the responses from that. We've we've had all of them come in today at we've been pressing for for for word from the various bodies for awhile and we've had statements today from from all three And Gardens comments of seon an official statement form and they do come at the caveat that We End Simon all English speakers and the quite spoken in Italian But they're pretty interesting. Yeah he talks here about working on a four week. Play swing does Andrei got. Nc after the US Open which if that would have happened and for star needs the French Open that has already been moved. Wants to move back again because there's not really casually says yeah. I mean the French Open. We'd have to he. He talks about this plan to create a clay swing and talks about Madrid. Happening the week before the French Open. Say the week that currently looks like it would be in between the US and the French opens they are. I was led to believe by press releases this week that the Madrid open would be happening as planned in. May just as an east ports competition and talk about that later. We are not doing podcasts during the Madrid East Bullets Open Andy. Murray's planning fairly. Yeah I mean obviously a watch because my all take any entertainment I can get but yeah and then it sort of casually says obviously this would require the friendship into move back a week is if like yeah. The fringe obviously going to play ball. Despite the fact that there's been absolutely no indication thus far that the the French Open want to take a collaborative approach to to any of this Bassani logically. Of course it makes sense for there to be eclair swing and for for Craig Clay Court Grand Slam not to describe up out of nowhere to we go to another Grand Slam. Obviously that makes total sense. It's interesting that incestuous on a put cost just over a week ago about the the the rumblings of a possible. Us Open at Indian Wells. In December I think-i reports in the piece. Today that there is little it seems as though there is little appetite for that and the preference of of the powers that be would be for the US Open to be staged as currently planned behind closed doors behind lays doors is preferable to moved back and in a different time and location which I find very interesting. The kind of we now live in a world where best case scenario. I is that a grand slam is played behind closed doors. Extraordinary to think about that. We'll hear later on as well in the podcast from Stephen Farrell. It looks after all the events in Britain including Queens as to why they didn't decide to to play behind closed doors also in Simon's piece he he quotes and Dragon. Enzi talking about the impact the importance of the ATP finals in November. I think financially as as much as anything to the the criteria is if we can sit tight and have the chance styles the finals. That's good will survive. Would we survive two or three years definitely not the longer it takes to solve the the situation? The worst air conditioned become so. There's a lot at stake here isn't a and we're going to hear the financial implications for as I said Players for federations for tournaments. And even the which is pretty healthy organization you feel on. Many levels has a lot to think about. Yeah I mean it. It doesn't surprise me to hear how dependent. Atp Finances are on the tool finals. I was aware how significant a an event but the most significant event for the organization. I believe the same applies to to the W for their finals. I will surprise Twohig Cowden Z. Put it in these to be frank about that is he. Seems to have been in that conference call with Italian journalists Simon also reports would a relief and a boost It is for the ATP the ATP Cup got played because that I believe resulted and the ATP ten millions Auto Simon reports that earned them them ten million and provided it gets played again the start of next year which isn't a given the semi far away enough that it's it's reasonable to be optimistic about that being played That would presumably be another ten million ish for them to be able to bank loan Which feels pretty massive at the moment. But yes certainly the the finals I get the impression that they even. If there's any been the amount of tennis what would we say for six seven weeks a tennis eight weeks? I think those finals will happen the ATP Finals will happen even if we go into it with the topic that we've got at the moment he would that be in the world right now. We'll have to look that up because I mean that's a very good point. Obviously Novak Djokovic is just fine. Because he's managed to get but as things stand it's Novak Djokovic. Dominic Team Gilmore Fees Ref on the Dow not bad seinfeld under relief. Live Christine guarantee their Alexander's verve and Stephanus sits obas Roger Federer. Just missing out in ninth. So there's your list so that's the race to London rankings. Yeah rather than you would make. That would be just fine for me. Unexpected Christian Garin in packing area federal would be the first alternate. Can you imagine him going to to London as an alternate that's got a half? It's almost worth having it. Just so he the hitting which regret. Christine guarantees hitting. That's that's what I want to a so that's the top end of the game and those guys as difficult as this is for everybody in these circumstances and oversee for many people more than than those players who have no financial worries what about somebody that is ranked tat side the world's top two hundred. Liam broady is the current world number. Two hundred eleven. He has been as high as just outside. The top one fifty He is a British play. Who's county standard? His parents place. He was supposed to be in Barcelona preparing on clay right now. He told me. So what's he doing instead? Well I've been In the in the gym I've in my Made up outside Jim for the last two weeks. Just trying to get spy can really. I'm in a group chat with a few of the of the players. Third Lloyd Gospel Don Evans. In his coach Ma Kilson One of the Guys Nathan. Ruining Merola posting all times in all sessions in there. And it's quite good actually gives us a sense of responsibility to the rest of the groups. Do sessions and stuff you know so your effectively kind of making yourself compete with each other on various exercises to try to keep pushing yourself exactly. Yeah I mean it as you probably know is very took to push yourself when you're on your own and there's no uh fullbacks acquitting especially when you're doing a lot of hard runs and stuff like that whereas obviously now you don't feel comfortable stopping because. I know I'm going to get upset. You Rinse for it. If so what what can you do? I mean I. I don't know how big your your spaces I mean. Tell us tell us what your your backyard your converted. Backyard looks like how big is the spice Can you do in it yet? So obviously the LCI sent me What by can on a little bit of kids they did sir quite a few of the plays which is obviously a lifesaver for me. I was worried that you know I actually spoke to Alex Timana yesterday and Lloyd Harris is narrower than not allowed out the house and I just going stir crazy by the sounds that doing skipping and counselors they call and go through a runner or anything so that obviously was often we are a spoiled by which is great but you know managing to get outside and go for pretty long distance runs They kind of make you value a lot more as well. You know freedom of being able to go outside. Yeah I does it make you Miss Tennis. Yeah I mean to be honest if I take a day or two days often. It's an I miss it like like you can't believe That's been one of the biggest messages in in that group. Chat with Evan. Everyone is is how much everybody misses tennis already. Everyone's signed it Kinda. Give the left arm to be back on court again even not even compete in just hitting the ball obviously you. Can't you play tennis complex? Honest it's all I know some people might be able to. You know whether they've home call also obviously quite a few applies over here. Don't have that option. So you know we literally just. I've not picked rocket for two and a half three weeks now which is probably the longest since I was about ten years old. And I suppose I mean you Brad Gilbert I mean he in the states he hits against a wall every day and and lots of people talk about that but I mean you need a wall you need some spice you need a wall in some country flow spills play on the problem is is. I don't really have a wall big enough An all star of concrete flow. So you can get a true bounce so I mean there's literally nothing you can do with regards to the tennis. Which is why. I'm I'm kind of puzzle and just trying come out this this little block than I've been really not. That's my plan. I'm to be as good. A good physical shape is can be one of the challenges as well. Liam must be that. We don't know how long this is GonNa last. So that mindset. I we actually had done Evans on the show. I think three weeks ago when when Indian from India Wells and he was saying he he'd got plans to get on court and he was hoping to be able to go in and try to mark Hilton and he was going to go in Birmingham mark. Who'S COMING DOWN FROM NOTTINGHAM? And obviously that that has quickly gone by the wayside but so now we know what he's doing. He's he's in the group chat with you. You're trying and trying to fit as you can. But this is three weeks in. We've we've got no tennis until mid June mid July at the very earliest. So so how. Are you going to sustain this to be honest? I'm GONNA take a week a time of two weeks of good training. I'm just focused on this. We want to think about the future right now because otherwise I'll go up. Y'All probably I'll probably stop trying Some just going to focus on that. We got time. That'll be seen each we get to. The belt is another another week towards the Physical Shite Maybe towards the end of the lockdown. I might take a week off completely just arrested in you know. Hit the hopefully forty. Five weeks of training was planned before tournaments is hard. What does this mean Liam few financially because tennis players don't play tennis they calm and prize money now all of a sudden they're all the ways to earn money ought to be supported..

"More bearable and livable and healthy. This is not just about right but if they do continue to be poor. We need to hold tennis Australia accountable for the health of these player in the absence of some kind of tennis union. Speak of the devil. Which Double Union. Well we talked about it on our last episode and like Clockwork Liam Brady uttered the words. The words that you're not allowed to say pospisil uttered the words as well as Corny retweeted those words in her own words. Nicole Gibbs is re tweeting stuff saying that this kind of air quality. Being respirator can lead to cancer. And she's like what did I just play in yesterday as a cancer survivor right. We saw a lot of folks except for Luke apply seemingly becoming more aware of what the power of union could do for tennis players in a situation like this and then being able to think of what life would be like if they had one and I was particularly pleased to see that Liam broady in his call for a union tethered the WTI with the ATP. Because that's something we've always been wary about because the murmuring about unions have largely come from ATP players and the ATP board with fascistic and whatnot. We've always wanted to know what are what is your thinking with respect to women as well and this this purported union that you're conceptualizing and Liam broady wants you to know that he's bringing the W. T. along in his version of it Brayden Schnur. The Canadian player got in some hot water. Maybe some lukewarm water. Criticizing Rafa and Roger for not being more vocal committing to player welfare and unionization. And here's the thing. Labor organizing is ugly. It's not it's not a pleasant and polite and fun endeavor but these are the sorts of things that are required like feelings are going to be hurt and people are going to be offended. We sit here and we talk about tennis. Having a union and I would concede that that that sounds a bit too hunky Dory for what it would actually entail in practice because there are a lot of barriers right practically. I have no idea what it looks like. What COUNTRY WOULD THE UNION BE INCORPORATED IN? What governmental laws would govern the union bright if players are deemed independent contractors? Are they even legally allowed to organize as a bargaining unit? These are questions that I don't know the answer to but I hope that players have access to labor lawyers to advise the bottom line. Is these players create the product? There are no tournaments without tennis players. So what is it GonNa take? Is it going to take somebody collapsing and having a serious health issue on court in Australia for something to be mobilized hard to say but it's likely that it would take something catastrophic for for change to happen because there's so many interests involved getting back to the tennis? We have made reference to the tournaments that are going on currently again. We don't know what has happened yet in these finals in Adelaide. Hobart Auckland but we have pair number in the final in Auckland. In Hobart Rybkina our number twenty nine seat at the Australian Open will play Jong Schwa- in the final show Schwab is also in the final of doubles along with punctuation and they will play Sonya Mirza in her comeback event. She has made the final in Hobart alongside Kitchen UK Adelaide on the WPA side has been full of intrigue and full of top players. Smarter Halla played. She lost a Sabah. Linka six four six two we mentioned Daniel Collins beat benches and Kenan easily and fairly quick matches your strengths given to coach Saban Lonzo. That was a boom boom big matchup. That was big babe tennis were yes and then the match of Note Ashley Barty Beats Daniel Collins and you may have seen a couple shifts circulating of the handshake. We generally don't like talk about handshakes because we find them to be misogynistic and sexist just say or at least dwelling too much on them yeah and the discussions surrounding them right but this one was not even that great the handshake but there was nothing in the handshake per se. It was his reaction afternoon. That's what made that Jeff Looked at her box. It was a bemused reaction was a drive-by handshake. It was a full clasp. And release happened in like a second but it how it was it was all all you're required to do And then Barton you could if you were to read her expression as like fucking kidding me like what's like did y'all see this and she looks for boxing. She's just kind of Chuckling Theresa. She's kind of like bamboozled. She kind of doctors a little bit right but she was already. I think peeved by some of Collins Antics Collins let out one of those famous commands and Bharti chuckled and looked up kind of like. Oh God it's a you know. Ash Bharti's shade is very very minor if you know her but it took Daniel Collins to bring it out you could ask her any number of questions in a press conference and come at her with different angles to try and get her to say something out of pocket. She's not by no she's she's probably the most professional run of the mill. Toe The line interviewee on the WTO tune. She's not going to be that person and she's not going to tell you if it's not once commits another that's not look at Barbaro and it's not like the thing is it's not because she's boring gets because you get the sense. That ash knows herself. She understands the process and she has made the decision about what she wants to give like what she wants to reveal how she wants to participate and it's conscious but her body language betrayed all that moment it was a little bit wobbled. A little bit shook. It's like the most testy you'll see her which is not very testy but she was asked about a medical timeout. And she said something like you know. I've seen this kind of stuff since the under twelve like. Oh Oh girl you just call this like juniors behavior juvenile stuff. I'm a grown woman. The last bit of News on this episode and it's bad news andy. Murray has withdrawn from the Tweeden's he was scheduled to play in February because he has not recovered from his public issue. Yes it was alarming to me that this was being referred to as a pelvic issue because it sounds very similar to a hip issue but he has clarified that. It is a bone bruise. He is training. He posted some videos of stretching and conditioning and stuff but he has pulled out of his events in February mobilia. Being one of them and I don't recall when I think Rotterdam perhaps. Yeah that's okay. Joe Always Wins Mon Peggy. Anyway we're going to end this episode with some words about the go fund me. "Went on the floor when I came down to Melbourne Park. I could feel it. I feel it in the air. Esau players going to struggle to date this is still quite bad and she said before the advice from local authorities. People stay indoors. You know. Construction Workers Downing Tools. Local horseracing meeting's being cancelled. But here we are still playing tennis city. Recreation centers are being closed and things that one of the most physical sports in the world or still play here. I'm not under So it was only a matter of time before players go in struggle like that and then it became a pattern that you could vich struggling know someone said to me a couple of days ago when I was telling him about that particular match it should all she must have been losing team was she said No. She was set up in a point away from taking into sang set. Tiebreak on South This is the thing. This is just someone looking for a ghetto. She was clearly struggling gasping for air down on our knees I think she said after that felt she could breathe. Better lower closer to the ground But at least in that moment yes thinking smoke is up high any to get loaded to gasp for air and you can see the inhaler and the hand of the doctor who is out there and she's never used inhaler before she snow at any breathing issues and then over the course of the day it became apparent that other plus struggling we saw Genie Bouchard one point at a couple of spoke to Liam broady. After as well who she liam of course he's not one of the so highly ranked players Fitness has strengths for sure and. He said he'd never felt anything. Like you know after our theft ten minutes out there. He's absolutely going. This is the thing you can. You can try and set a mark and goal by this number but I'm sorry playoffs regardless the number was and I'm still waiting at this moment to see the numbers That's coming up for seventy two hours after I've not seen any numbers yet from on site and players are struggling on. It does a probe they tightly said and we can get through it. Tyler said next because he spoke a couple of days later he said that two hundred of their absolute stop lament which is already pretty well into this sort of very poor category in the ratings of what The air quality is Colored Purple Color. They use site type news but he circuit ninety seventy plenty of people and it's not just the athletes officials. There was a ball kid. I believe who fainted which has happened in the past year with hot weather days but also tennis. Australia has been notably inhumane on that front two in two thousand fourteen. The comments from Dr Tim. About how humans refined were raised on the savannahs of Africa. Hunt antelope in these conditions. Whatever nonsense he said you know. Yeah there's a. There's a clear distant Clear lack of empathy. I think notice here a couple of clips from creek tiling. I'll try to put in the one where he says. Basically players who are having problems. implies the unfit ones that sort of call on that. He tried to walk that back but yet. Here's here's Kirk Talley so.

That's enough that's enough pumping my own tires and like dropping names right now but that Frankie Frankie Frankie Delgado for his number on my phone somehow he's actually. La Club scene like he owns all I'm like. I don't even know who he is. I remember we're like brody had some thing that he did at this bar that I worked at again like ten years ago and just end up hanging out with all these people but it's so funny because my phone just keeps the same contacts and sometimes going through. Look like what does that mean like you because you're pump the end of the week yeah so we record our we we used to only do episodes on Mondays would record our Monday episodes on Friday okay so we would say we were giving people. Friday energy on a Monday listen on Monday but you record on Friday and like obviously our energy on Fridays different yes but now we also episodes on Thursdays so it's like it's just a state of mind. That's beautiful full like hank who likes taking vacations. No me never hang. Do you have any you get one sentence right here. Why we i i i would like to clarify that. Ria was invited to be this week. I was and i said i couldn't come because oh just rea- the up and i said i go because us hangs parents were here well. They were when i invited rea- when i invited hank she thought that you were actually going to be on this weekend but she confused the week. I use the wiffle. I tournament weekends got. It got it so if i was going to be here though rea- wouldn't have been invited. No no i wouldn't have went problem. If if you were both available then you would have both been invited right exactly yeah all right. Thank you get one sentence right now about miley liam broady and caitlyn and what are your thoughts on the subject matter. The door is still open. Okay okay all right. We'll leave it at that. Thank you they. Yes okay moving on though if miley if i did it with a guy the doors closed uh-huh oh so you think that if miley started hooking up with another dude that liam would be like okay. I'm really out. No i think i mean i think liam is is just out in general because he just being with another person he. I don't think he can get past it. That's what i'm hearing rumors on. The street. Leandra can't get past having an open relationship with miley the understand right but it goes back to one thousand phase. It's over. How many phases can miley go through. She's already done that though yeah i think i think you only get two times and then well relationship. It's not a phase anymore but if she's happy with caitlin carter. I guess that's good but caitlin carter while i people and now re i really catch myself saying every time wild comes out of my mouth. I'm like off rant. Pick another word. Oh oh because i told you about that review yeah well. Whoever wrote that review we read it and fran is now self conscious. I'm trying so hard but i think we've already said like five times in this in this gordon. I just know that we're working on it. We're working on it trying so your final answer on this is that you think that they both split from their husbands and they got together and ran off tiddly yet 'cause i. It just seems like there with molly's sister also brandy and i would i think brandy the and kayla have been friends <hes> but i just it's what makes matters even just crazier crazier..
