"Kfbk Now trending Levi Stadium will be the state's largest vaccination site. When it opens next week, The 40 Niners announced their home stadiums going toe do that in partnership with Santa Clara County. Meantime, Johnson and Johnson has asked the FDA for emergency authorization for its Covad vaccine. They're conducting clinical trials here in Sacramento. Marc Lacey is the CEO of benchmark research. They're conducting the study. We're really excited because We did, and two cities that benchmark is located in we did the Jansen study with one shot, and then now and Sacramento. We're doing it with two doses. So there is a booster shot an addition to the one shot. So is that a change from what we heard originally that the Johnson and Johnson vaccine would be a one dose or, or is it now looking at being a second dose vaccine? That's a question I can't really answer because they certainly haven't made that known. But my guess is yes. The Johnson the Johnson and Johnson originally was supposed to be. Only one does and it may end up being one dose. But it showed a lower efficacy rate and moved in and then either Madonna or Fizer Although it does have 85% efficacy rate for the elderly, So it Z much more difficult to get death or are really serious case of Corona just with that efficacy, But I think they're conducting this trial. Now that we're doing in Sacramento with two doses because I think they want to see that that efficacy go up. Johnson and Johnson has asked the FDA for emergency approval. So Lacey thinks that is imminent. Wouldn't be supposed that it was necessary next week, Uh, for the study that we've already done and on some of our other cities. The one does. My guess is that that is going if it hasn't already gone to the FDA, it is any day now. And if you have an interest in participating in the local trials, looking for more volunteers, this this study right now that we're doing is also showing good efficacy as well. So based upon our previous experience with so far four or five of the major studies, this is this one is also going well in Sacramento. And generally speaking, we'll see they won't I don't know whether I'll have to get emergency use authorization for the two days they probably will and then decide what they're gonna do so, but that would they'll probably be able to ggo in front of the FDA for this particular study in Sacramento. Um I would say by the middle of March, if not a little bit sooner, and finally, something else interesting. And then we've got two more brand new studies of new candidates. That's so great promise that air plant based and also one that's capsule based. We'll have many more after that as well. But in addition to this study after we finish enrollment, then we'll start another study. If you're interested in participating in the Sacramento trials, we've got all the information at kpk dot com. The afternoon news with Kitty O'Neil and you can hear more of that interview as well. He goes into quite a lot of detail on what it's like to participate. All right for 28 kpk traffic.

"A pretty accurate description of how most of us what? Our retirement today. Eric. There's a new survey out that says about 60% of Baby boomers, who are still working right now plan to keep on working in retirement. They want to stay active and engaged. Do you have clients like that? Who are talking like that. And what is the reason behind keeping a job in retirement? Well, the I agree with the rocking sharper in the working part, the other part about the Medicare people really do want that Medicare Still, I think so, too. That's exactly what I thought. So yes. Oh, actually, literally, 11 reason I have some clients working is Just for that is for health care, You know, So some people have got one client that she retired up into the band Oregon where? Ah, lot of Ah, well, I think it's almost all half full of Ah, Ex Californians and You know, and she was working for HP and pretty high stress kind of higher level job, and she's wanted some sort of office job that she could come in and go home and not check her email, not care. And that would give her health care. Took her a little while actually find one that she liked it there, but she didn't get it and Because the problem is she was my 58 when she retired and health insurance Committee insanely expensive. I mean, at least 1000 or more per person, you know, until you hit that 65 magic Medicare number, you know it gets another ones that Like they've just worked at sporting events like you know, they read it for the Sharks or Levi Stadium. And for all the concerts, advance and sports and It's just something to get out of the house and have some fun and do some stuff and then a lot of times. It's also just for Things that they want to do, you know, And so you know, it can be a good way to go. The hard part is lots times. You may not be able to physically do it. And so the scary part is when people plan on making sure they're working. And then also have some health issue that prevents them from working. So that be the I think the press The biggest caution is you may think you're gonna be able to work and make some money and not have to need as much. Much else might not be able to. So don't don't count on it. Yeah, that's a good point. Don't count on it. I mean, only do it. If you want to write, don't have to have that income. Now I want to talk about for those people who do decided. Just keep working in retirement. How is that going to impact things like Social Security or Medicare? So it depends on the age. That's the big, huge one on so so security massive massive effect before your fr A, which is your full retirement account and So right now we're in the last year of everybody who's 66 where they get so security that it's starting to phase into 67 If you start working On Butte Take so security early meaning any time before that 66 or 67, agent number Then you're gonna have Ah, earnings restriction, and it changes every year. So it's around 18,000 or so and and so happens is if you make more than that from earned income meaning stuff that you know that's your pain. So security taxes Medicare tax on then what? They're going to its very $2 over that you make. You're gonna lose $1 of self security. Well, for a lot of people want you make probably, you know, 50,000 ish range 60,000. You're gonna pray have given back hole of your Social security but locked in the penalty for starting early. Not good s. Oh, yeah. You really don't want to be taking some security early before that, for Medicare really doesn't matter. Except for there is. Medicare premiums are based on your income. And so also you have too high of an income. And guess what? Your Medicare previous paid double triple or quadruple, So that's another little gotcha. It doesn't show up on your tax return..

What could the college basketball season look like

"Finish out their season out of state because health officials in Santa Clara County have shut down their operation and Levi Stadium There is also word this morning that college basketball's future is in doubt. Rachel Bachman is a college basketball reporter for The Wall Street Journal. She told this morning with Gordon deal that college basketball teams are more vulnerable than football teams because they have fewer players and if just a few of them gets sick, Of course, it can devastate an entire roster, she says. There's another reason basketball teams are at greater risk. College basketball teams travel a lot more. They play more frequently, so that also presents a problem if you know There's an infection, and players have to say quarantine for a week or two. That could wipe out numerous games as opposed to in college football. Maybe one or two. Okay, so Christina, they have fewer players on the roster and I play indoors. Yes, that's true, so that adds another element to this and Bockman says. But the NC double a has already severely cut back on the regular season schedule. The empty itself first delayed the start of the season by more than two weeks on duh, then it also pretty radical move flashed the number of required games on to be considered for the postseason and state tournament. So now it seems only have to finish. 13 games to qualify for consideration. If you get into a men's or women's tournament last year, it was 26 games. And so you could tell that the entity is bracing for a lot of games to be postponed, canceled, so they cut their regular season schedule in half go from 26 to 13, and then you can become eligible for the tournament, which is in March. Now get this the men's basketball tournament. The March Madness provides the overwhelming majority of revenue for N C w basketball operations. So of course they don't want to. They don't want to cancel March, man. This and a lot of that is TV revenue. That's where they make their money. They're gonna have to bubble. They're talking about holding it in one place in Indianapolis. I believe it is and they might do. They might use that model that the N B a used when they went to Orlando. It worked very well for the NBA. I mean, you had a couple of people that you know it did left to go get something to eat or whatever, and came back. The concern isn't necessarily the tournament itself. March madness. It's getting to the tournament, right? Because you got to travel. You mean you're going to have to go to other schools in other places? Well, this is also happening as

So that be the I think the biggest caution is You may think you're going to be able to work and make some money and not have to need as much. What else might not be able to. So don't don't count on it. Yeah, that's a good point. Don't count on it. Mainly do it. If you want to overwrite don't have to have that income. Now I want to talk about for those people who do decided to keep working in retirement. How is that going to impact things like Social Security or Medicare? So it depends on the age. That's the big, huge one on DSO. So security massive massive effect before your f R A, which is your full retirement account and So right now we're in the last year of everybody who's 66 where they get the school security than it's starting to phase into 67 If you start working On DH. You take self security early, meaning any time before that 66 or 67, agent number Then you're gonna have earnings restriction, and it changes every year. So it's around 18,000 or so and and so happens is if you make more than that from earned income meaning stuff that you know that you're paying off security tax and Medicare tax on then what? They're going to bury $2 over that you make you're gonna lose $1 of Social security. Well, for a lot of people want you make probably 50,000 ish range 60,000. You're going probably given back all of your Social security but locked in the penalty for starting early. Not good s. Oh, yeah. And so if also you have too high of an income. And guess what? Your Medicare premiums made Double triple or quadruple. So that's another little gotcha. It doesn't show up on your tax return. It's not technically attacks, but it's based on your income tax level. So smells like a duck walks like a S s. So that's what those things where you have to be very careful so Now the flip side if you're 70 Plus and you're still working, which actually love clients that have loved the work are, I swear, one. Don't think his wife wants him home so that you have to keep working s O. You know what we're part about SL security is once you're over 70. There's no reason to not takes all security. I mean, you know, just get the money. But if you're replacing Still, security is your highest 35 years if you're replacing This'll last year with a year from you know, maybe your paperboy or whatever it was way back when you're so security could actually go up when you're working past 70. Because of what they're going to. They're going to re calculate that all And so it is a little bit interesting on how that how that all plays out. So this is what you do You help retirees every single day, decide when would be The optimal time for them to claim their Social Security benefits. It's all part of your blueprint, a wordless wealth, right? Exactly, And so you know what we do is we build that income plan, the investment taxes, health care, legacy plan, and obviously part of the income plan is going to take some security. What tax ramifications you have of taking certain incomes or doing certain things at certain times. And then where else can you get the income from from your investment? So really, that all plays together and so You know, one thing's lots. Thanks. You'll say, Well, I don't know if I should be doing the planning our is if this is right for me or not, And you know, really, the big thing would be is just take 15 to 30 minutes of our time And we can be on a phone call or even a zoom, Colin, just, you know, Find out what your concerns are, which your worries are And then we can talk and go from there. But again, there's no cost for doing the actual phone call and will actually even now do that. That blueprint showing you work path you're on today. Again for for the radio listeners for no cost, And so that's something you want to take advantage of to give us a call. 804 54 11 84 again 804 54 11 84 Or you can book directly online at wealth creator radio dot com. "Some dignity Health official healthcare partner of the San Francisco 40, Niners and Levi Stadium, by the way, one quick note from our friend Justina Anderson. Who comes on the show often Saints, according to her are open to trading Pro bowl running back Alvin Kamara. I don't think that the Niners will be in play. I mean, I really like what the Niners have in the backfield distress you with the addition of McKinnon. And Coleman and most are, But can you imagine a Kyle Shanahan offense with a toy like Alvin Kamara? He's um, awesome. Cavalry's a different cat. But Kamar is right there. Camaro was not healthy last year, there's just no doubt so obviously. It is a contract impasse. We did no wise man not going to practice the last three or four days. McCaffrey gets this huge deal. And you didn't stay healthy. Alvin. I'm sorry, and we don't have to do this when we're in the middle of a pandemic. But I would you're talking about Ah challenge. That is transcendent. He's a great runner. I mean, McKinnon special, but this guy is just so smooth. I you would talk about it. You would talk about it, and then you'd have to figure out how you pay him. And when he come into camp with you like Jamal Adam's got, you know he got he forced himself out of New York. But then when it was time to go to Seattle, he's cool. And I'm called my contract So we can't give you new contract right now. And we trade for you. Are you got away, he took a six million are cut. You go to God weighs about the same players. Alvin Kamara and Jack weighs a good if you just saying from a contract standpoint, like these guys got to realize you can't give they're not giving you the money. You know, Minnesota game 12. He signed the tender, though, right? You got anything in Jacksonville? So he gets the money, right? So that's different, But he's he's He's a good player. But you, you know, you put him next to Daniel Hunter on the other side. Now you're talking. If he singled up, But I could just put my best guy or double him. He's you know. Compare is different. He's Kyle Shanahan would love to get out Kimera. That's something you would think about 25 years old is a great player. I mean, he's a great player, and he's tough. He's a tough runner. There's not a weakness in his game. But you know who could give him a new contract right now? If you trade for him, you gotta come in and play and we'll give it to you in time. Or you'll get tagged and you'll make it. Are you gonna hold out on us, too? Which Jamal Adams? It was I'll show up in Seattle. I don't want to show up in New York without a new contractor. If you trade for him, will he show up and play? This year under his current deal, like Trent Williams, because you can't you can't give new money right now. There's no there's no room. Plus, I mean, if he's looking for anything like McCaffrey, McCaffrey's there was four 60 for 21, a half signing bonus and 38 guarantee And like You said, I'm not getting that was not getting that butt numbers. Yeah, I think he's got to be healthy. He's not healthy. There's a real wise. Why would New Orleans trade him? Wow, clearly that he's probably asking for. I mean McCaffrey's 20 for his 25 like You said he's not healthy, but A lot of times. You know, these guys aren't overly logical. I mean, he probably wants similar money in New Orleans. I mean, it clearly says New Orleans is thinking one thing. He's obviously capitalize thinking another. He she has the talent. I mean, there's no doubt McCaffrey's a great player, commerical be everybody's good. He just has not done it because he's had injuries. But I mean why you would trade him rather than just play buff of love with him, But you know what happened on this date In a couple of years ago, the Raiders traded Khalil Mack. So September. The first it happened, Yeah. Camara for his career averages five yards a carry, which is nice and nice, and he's got it one or more passes for the last three years, so he's really good, But like you said, he's got to stay healthy, and I don't know who would you know? I don't think anybody could give a contract right now, and he'd have to kind of play ball a little bit. But Justin Anderson reporting That he is on the auction block, So we'll see what happens with him all right caboose time, including the CA boost one of the stranger reasons to call 91911 and other Things that are caboose ish. We'll do it next. Only here on the sports leader. You're smart speaker is a radio to hear Papa and London home. Just say your apple pod play KNBR. I told her Kruger and Brooks Soas faras, the Giants being sellers or buyers. Neither one of those materialized. Got what? You've got only a couple out of the final playoff spot. Do they get it? You're close enough to the playoffs with a team's your league making it They might as well go for it, but not everybody be the Padres and make like Trades in 24 hours, The Padres acted like a real major league Baseball club can cue rack of the Padres, Krug.

"Cisco, 40, Niners and Levi's Stadium. Okay, and we are wild for five Earth. I'm real happy with our savings. And now I mean nothing against Earl. But there was an interesting way have our team. We have the guys that we wanted our spot in. If this is how he planned it and you got some good competition there to what the guys have been behind them more excited about a group. There you go. Put that one to bed. There was some initial speculation. I think rap sheet was one of them. Who said maybe the 40 Niners would be interested because Richard Sherman had tweeted out. Obviously that Earl Thomas still had a lot left in the tank, and he would prove it once he was back on the field, and some people speculated that maybe there would be a reunion there, but thank you very much. Jimmy Ward is one year into a deal. He's the free safety Jakubowski tart. They are very happy with us. Well, so Earl Thomas Ladies didn't see a fit there. I don't know if they ever had a discussion internally, but Caution and put that one to bed pretty quickly. It is your 40 Niners fix. We're going to some injuries in a minute, but I guess you don't have to speculate anymore. Well, I never did because I didn't think that was ah, fit. Even when Sherm sent out the tweed and rap sheet was aligning Earl Thomas immediately to Dallas and To the 40 Niners. And I know Jerry Jones shot back a TTE rap sheet, but a lot of times that comes from the player's agent and a player, you know gets Ah Hi. Possibly millions of dollars that he thought were guaranteed are not going to come his way. And I don't know if his behavior in practice the other day with Chuck Clark was so boring that you would take all that money away from him. That will probably have to go to a hearing. But as Faras Earl Thomas. We talked about it yesterday. We saw him last year in Baltimore playing. That's the 40 Niners. "Welcome back to the GSM cease fours podcast just finished the NBA. Now it's other leagues as it's Fisher. Now that the raiders will not be playing at oracle park as the Niners have not accepted their territorial rights. So most likely the raiders will be playing either still in Oakland at the Coliseum or at Levi stadium. So that whole thing just do not work out, which we which you expected which I kind of expected to just based on the fact that like why would the Niners let go their territorial rights to a rival of the raiders. But now it oh comes down to we still don't have a home for the raiders. But to me, it feels like it's almost a foregone conclusion that it's gonna go down in Oakland. It's they're gonna stay in Oakland for one more year. Yeah. Possibly we. We don't know where the raiders are going to play but they won't play oracle park. I still think I think they like we played Levi stadium Levi see or the Oakland Coliseum. I don't I don't see any other place. They could possibly be to be completely honest with you. And if they do find out some find another place, I'll be completely shocked this'll be like a last minute thing. But they're cutting dire straits now finding a home because if I don't know how they're gonna have Oakland say comeback because Oakland seems pretty upset at them my Pinon, but we'll see how everything turns out. But yes has right now, they do not have a home. So we will see where the Oakland Raiders play. Or the San Francisco raiders are the Las Vegas raiders wherever you want to call them after this season. So we'll see how everything turns out, but what are the other? What's on the news today? I just want to discuss that just a Russell Westbrook. Seventh street triple double yesterday ties, Michael Jordan. Okay. That makes sense triple double way from the record for interro yet. Okay. I was like I'm pretty sure it's like a million of those great. Yeah. He's kind of Mr. triple double. When you think about it like when you think triple doubles, it's usually him, and that's also pretty good for him as well. And also looking into other news like. The well this I don't know about this one. But it's just baseball baseball rules that have been happening. If you wanna talk about 'em, the changes the baseball rules or maybe some options, but they're talking about a universal designated hitter. So the naturally will get a designated hitter. Do you think what do you think of just having one league as it has eight here? What were your thoughts on the first place like that's just been known for so long? But I was always kind of questioning why it was only for one league in the first place. Yeah. It is kind of silly my opinion of. I've just a person who believes that there shouldn't be designated hitter. You think patriot should rake? Yeah. I think pitcher should hit because they're on the field..

"Four points, eight rebounds, six assists for hardened twenty seven straight games. Now for James harden with thirty plus points a night, which is an incredible run. And harden actually, reacted Kobe said that and then harden hurt it, and here's hardens reaction. Because we have interesting. Course of the year. So. Chris on rhythm. Eric bag full roster. Most of the guys that can make. Right now. He's. Way playing. We want to go. So I'm excited for that. Can't argue with that win by the three lose by the three. I still think they're best chances when they went to seven games with the warriors and Paul got hurt. And the warriors went on and one. Yeah, they had everything going that way. They couldn't throw the ocean. And they couldn't make three point shot. What did they shoot in the second half? I mean, it was like it was unbelievable. See I don't think that's any to me. He's right. I know anybody who's watched the rockets this year and say boy harden is great. They're going to they got a chance for the title. It's just one guy doing it was actually pretty balanced comments in a reaction. I mean, that's a pretty unique there Kobe. I grieve Kobe. You know, basically saying, hey, look, you know, you're going to eyeso- a guy at the top of the circle in the middle of the floor while you know, in the regular season weren't and you're not gearing for that. It's one thing. But when it's the playoffs, and you're watching tons of film, and you've got nine different coaches were I'll look into stop. You know, turn off the other teams water. It's easy to turn that off. And I thought Hardin had a pretty balanced reaction. I agree with harden. It's like, you know, what right now because of the injuries. This is the way he's got play. And it's it's a fun style to watch. But I also agree with but you're not winning rings physically. And mentally, you know, where you're doing it all by yourself. You know, he he's gonna wear out. Like, I said he. I just I don't think you look at Houston and think they're going to contend at all. But that's again, they're going to be some games when those threes or going where you go man look at the rockets, but now by the way, Wes Welker the new Niner wide receiver coach that came out. That's now officially we mentioned that on the show yesterday. And that is now an official deal. And before we go to the lines. We've got a bunch of people want to weigh in on the text line about the raiders and the Niners and sharing Levis nine hundred five says the raiders that are reopen negotiations. The city of Oakland, the Coliseum will be the only place that doesn't cost them an arm and a leg. You know, these they've got a battle going on with Oakland. Mark Davis says, hey, you're gonna sue me. Then I don't want anything to do with you. So that's dude shaking my head right now raider fans will never convert to becoming a forty Niner fan. You're delirious. I'm not delirious. And actually there are lots of forty Niner fans right now that if you went and interviewed them you'd find out they were raider fans, they were raider fans in the nineteen seventies. They were raider fans until the raiders bolted to LA in the early eighties. They were raider fans and Super Bowl fifteen and they became Niner fans after their team left. Now is one year advertise it, but maybe they're not the ones wearing the skull-and-crossbone painting their faces, but lots of raider fans became Niner fans, and it will happen again. I'd be with you. If you said, hey for ten years, let's work out a deal and the raiders are gonna stay in the bay area. Yeah. But they're they're all set the stadiums. Being built in Vegas. Let them go. It the other way. Okay. You got a one year window to show people that hey, you know, what can watching NFL football at Levi stadium? Sunday afternoon is a nice experience. And. Yeah, your teams the raiders, but. Maybe you don't come every game. If you're not a Niner fan, but maybe you come to Levi's four or five times a year. And if enough fans do that, I think if you're the forty Niners, it's probably worthwhile. Boy, we're really a disagreement if I'm running the forty Niners, I want my I wanna win get my fan base back to you know, what it was when we were on top. I if I need the raider fans to make make me whole gives you more money more money that you spend on free agents if you want all right. Hey, current and Pleasanton where are you? Larry's got a big heart welcoming the raiders to stay one more year. I say get the hell out and get the hell out. Now, you're on Cambier. I agree with you, Gary. I think that raider fans just seeing a nice stadium in San Francisco is not gonna make the real authentic raider fans. Switch over to being Niner fans, and you know on peo- that we're moving to Vegas, but it's not gonna go into clucking to make me want to go to Levi stadium and spend hundreds of dollars there to watch Niner games. When really I'm a raider fan. I'd rather spend a couple of hundred bucks drive down to Vegas and catch a game there then go to Levi for the Niners. It's a shame current. But we just should Larry's got a big heart for all teams you and I were cold blooded get the hell out, then we're in agreement. Yup. We're in agreement. Gary, you're my brother. You're my brother to get to here. You are. Thank you very much. That's current who knows his stuff. I'd Kyle in Vacaville, you're on KABC more comment. I was going to tell you guys to get a room. There's nothing wrong with that even even Robert Kraft and Tom Brady showed me this didn't touch as much as you guys know. My goodness. Robert see Robert Kraft a Brady. You want to stop by the doctor if you got mono. No, I just all I can think of so much smooching going on in that last boat. Crafts son Brady whose. Daniel poor guy watching that gave pump his fist xactly. But you gotta throw one guy out, you know, that old line. We can't make it with three of us in the boat. Who does Robert thrower throws out his son and keeps Brady it's so sad. Gladiator? I know you call them a dark, you'll feel bad for that guy. Gotta sit there Daniel craft. I feel bad. I won the lucky, gene pool. I know. But that's never got do Jack and the rest of his life. Something about sitting there. Watching your father lead, the greatest dynasty industry of the NFL. But just salivate over another human being you want your dad to take you. I the worst thing is, you know, in private circles that Jonathan Kraft, you know, when he's sitting there when he's in the club or when he spinning yarns to his buddies at the country club. Well, this is what I did. And this is what I what I it's all legit. And if it's not Belleci gets Brady. And if it's not Brady, it's ten other guys, and it's not you. But somehow John craft. I'm thinking thinks it's him having a little party there to get together after the parade. And if Brady was jerky says, Mr. crabs anyway, and get your son out of here studying that just annoy me, and then the fly, listen you want you want your father? Yard is Robert Kraft. Love Tom Brady, more than sunshine. I know. Lips did touch. You. Why your son did touch? Did you showed me? And I did. Yeah. I mean, it was it was like, you know, you see somebody in the hallway and you go, right? They go, right. You go left go left and all of a sudden say, hey, hey, look at this. We're doing a little dance craft and Brady did on the field with their mouths. Okay. And they literally they literally their lips touch. Do you think he's ever touched the lips of son Jonathan probably not probably not God, you want your dad to love you first. And then somebody go ahead. Kyle Vacaville you with Larry you've got an open heart and raiders and forty nine fall in love or have you lived a little, and we all nothing lead the witness just ask him Kyle. How do you feel for John throwing up just thinking of Brady? Oh my gosh. I'm all have do you think if they're in a boat, and somehow they're going to sink, unless one guy goes out that Robert Kraft would keep Brady or his son Jonathan Kraft would be eaten by sharks? He keep Brady and all of his, you know, his lineage over anybody in the craft honest after Sunday property Edelman to jeez. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. See, johnny. Yeah. Kyle you were making a joke out of it. But don't you want your dad to love you more than any other human being? Well, I hope so hopefully, we'll go. No. Of course. Of course. Of course, somebody somebody said that Robert Kraft is a Colonel Sanders haircut. Kyle. What do you say you're on Camby are about this raider forty-nine thing I'd say as a raider fan? I don't want to cross enemy lines to a stadium. That's drenched in red on forty Niners museum and all of that. No just. Niner and the in giant fan play play or coal. You know, both teams under one stadiums. You know for the giants much raise ratings are going to the playoffs. But where you wanted to play. That's the thing rather you being honest with us you'd rather play at a baseball stadium. That's kinda reconfigured with a with partial stands, then then go down. And really, I mean, most of the raider fans. I mean Milpitas that to thirty seven it's pretty close. I mean, I most of the raider fans, I think could get Levi's faster than you just because it's the Niners home. That's an always be a second class citizen. We're talking about ten dates. Well, that's ten times you'd go down there. And no, hey, the forty Niners saved us for one year. Kyle. We don't want anybody anything. Do we can go to a raider game on Sunday or call in? And then go to a giants game later in the week. And I'll be like a pig in the mud it'd be happy. As can be that'd be awesome. So so you again, make sure pigging the mud you wanna leave. Our at the giants baseball stadium. Yes. Okay. Fair enough. We've got nine one six. Here. It's Jerry I used to love your comments and your takes. But now, the more I listened the more you have lost it you root for the dodgers against the raiders playing it Levi's what happened to you. Used to be so great. Nine one six. Well, benign ones twenty great Napier. That's the last time ago and his show. Did he really say all that really might God's word for word. Am feeling bad. Pause. I I did pause. No. It's just. Guys. See I think the LA thing is taking that and really running with these Jerry you're in a hole, if it was up to you Oakland in the East Bay would not exist. That's not true. I lived in a rental. Yes. Tell that to your advertisers. My goodness. Five one os getting real in your kitchen? Wow. That's really bad stuff. That's so bad. And I will say it again when I was when the as we're going whatever team is winning. That's how it works. When the as LaRussa and all that gang. We did more positive stuff on the as we get on. There. You're crazy. They think the raider fans won't trash Levi's especially on the last game. I mean, come on seriously. What what are we talking about? We're talking about. It's there an NFL team. It's an NFL stadium. It's brand new. That's all, you know, put our feelings aside and just go I'd rather watch an NFL product in an NFL stadium..

"SF. Oh, good morning to you, nineteen minutes past eight o'clock here on campus. If oh so some of the other stories Clemson wins. Clemson just cleaned Alabama's clock. What we thought? It was forty four sixteen. But what we thought was weird. We still have no explanation for this. So he had all these people from the southeast coming to California. And they got to watch Clemson beat Alabama. So the Alabama people were upset and the Clemson people are excited. But I think they were all thrilled that. That imagine dragons didn't do their halftime show at the stadium. This because I can't imagine any of these people being imagine dragons fancy like give us a country act. Right, right. That's just like the concert that they were gonna have before the game that ended up getting canceled on Sunday. It was one Republican Ellie Golding screams football. So why? But here's the thing that no one's been able to explain to us. Why was the halftime show at Levi stadium in Santa Clara performed on Treasure Island? I don't understand that is it is it possibly because they knew that such an audience, Clemson and Alabama might actually boo. Oh, well, there you go. I maybe I don't know. Or was that always the plan? Yeah. Because apparently, they did have the bands performing live at Levi stadium. What do you mean? I mean, while the television audience saw imagine dragons o- on the big screen, right? They have the college bands playing. Yeah. They had the college bands playing like we suspected we figured. That's probably what the halftime was because, you know, you're you're proud of your back from Alabama. I wanna see the tide band. Play your from. Clemson. I wanna see the right. That's yeah. That's part of the whole experience as most to imagine dragons stupid. Okay. Done to get a beverage. And then the encore could have been a Adele at that point. Yeah. It's not the Super Bowl. Yeah. They didn't call Katy Perry for this one. Man. So okay. We've we're we're talking about that. Okay. So the other story we're just really bummed out. We woke up this morning after forty two years. Harry's hop rows closing in San Jose. And just for those of you who never went to Harry's. It's quite the hoffbrau. And if you never got to go to harrys their other location in San Leandro, east fourteenth is remaining open. Yeah. There's so how many locations that they have with their three. There were three the third ones like in Redwood City is it. I gotta go back to their website. I was on it earlier. Anyway, this was the one on Saratoga avenue just off to eighty and. Yeah, you're right. Redwood City, San Jose, and San Leandro, so they just do a great job. And I don't know what the deal is other than I know that whole area on Saratoga is being redeveloped probably going to be retail of the bottom, stack and pack housing on the top. There you go. And and the next thing, you know, if you wanna get into a good business to service the areas. There's the stack it pack housing. Just go to doggy daycare. Jeez. The industry that's winning right now. Shockingly enough. Yeah. We came up with this story in the last half hour in the last hour, doggy daycare in San Francisco as much as are you ready for this sixteen hundred bucks a month? Oh. Sixteen hundred dollars a month. Okay. So yesterday, we were talking about the price of gas. We were looking at gas prices all around the United States and some places around the country. You could buy gasoline for under two dollars a gallon. In San Francisco. It's well over three. California's one over three. So we know that gas prices are through the roof. Oh, you know, what else is going through the roof the price of liquor. So it's blame it on proposition. See so if you're noticing wait a second, I I bought in two separate slept more expensive now. Yeah. Because there's a new tax that went into effect January first for proposition. See now, what is proposition sees supposed to do it passed it over sixty one percent of the vote. What is oh, it's well, it's San Francisco prophecy it it's going to help the homeless got it. Oh, okay. That's that proposition that Mark Benny off was. The the tax to fund the homeless. Katie was looking at prices as we're going through every Gavin Newsom is now the the new the new boss in California. He's he's doubling down harder than Jerry Brown did in terms of just making the state more liberal. So Katie was looking at one way flights out one way flights to Idaho. But here's the story. The record number of people that want to leave the United States. So sixteen percent of Americans said they wanted to move out of the country twenty eighteen that's up from ten percent under Obama eleven percent of George W Bush. So are these all the liberals that just hate Trump? Is that the idea I'm thinking so in which case, you know, they'll never leave because they never do. All these Hollywood stars after Donald Trump wins. You let IRA mover. Rosie was real. I was I was waiting for the day that O'Donnell was gonna move to Canada that never happened over there. They never move there. But you liars. I believe this. Here's another story for you. Texting has created a silent generation totally believe this. Absolutely. Art of conversation is has. So I know it's popular say these days gender is dead. No conversation is dead. Yeah. No. I was sitting at a restaurant, and I actually saw the they were I I don't know if they'd been a couple for a while. Or if they were on a date both on their phones completely ignoring each other. So I hit the timer on mine. Just to see how long it would go for thirteen minutes. Oh, my not one word or they didn't look up. That's nuts. Thirteen minutes. Kind of a record. Yeah. Well, it's entertaining. But I mean, you're right interpersonal communication just goes out the door with interpersonal communication going out the door. That means re relationships should get a start getting really weird kids nowadays don't know how to talk on the phone. It's so it's so bizarre. They don't know how to write speak on the phone or just speak to take. Okay. Fast forward this generation into the workplace. Oh scary. Falco or something even even more frightening fast forward that generation into congress. Oh my gosh. They'll never meet face to face. It's just going to be a text message thread. Or Facebook message. Oh. Great younger. Adults are the vanguard of costly connecting finding a thirty nine percent of eighteen to twenty nine year olds. Now, go online almost constantly. So culture observers were young people regularly online may not engage in fully formed communication at are actually isolating themselves. Totally agree. Started comedy young people sitting on a mall bunch school hallway stugotz are devices rather than talking to the people next to them. We see that every day up. I mean, you go to the grocery store, you just you're waiting in line. Nobody can just sit there and wait in line or have conversation with the person standing next to you and your phone. Oh, yeah. Completely. Yes. I think it's everywhere. I mean, Bart. Well, I would I get disturbed by as you go into like the country you go out into the forest, you coach, the beach, whatever it's like, dude. Why are you looking at your phone? You've got this unbelievable beach. You're at you. You could just spend all day looking at the horizon, looking at the sky look at the waves, and you probably do more for your well being in that amount of time than you ever went on your phone. You know what I'm saying? Well, but Brian it could be a pokey stop. And then you have to get your Pok Mon checking on Instagram. I mean, there are so many things that can be done on that thought you're turning out people you're turning out life. You're turning your to your tuning out people life in God. It's just that's crazy. Yeah. I mean. Wow. And they're dangerous because there are multiple reports. There was actually just a story. I forget it was somewhere on the east coast this girl, she's actually taking responsibility for getting hit by a car because she stepped off a curb while looking at her phone and wasn't paying attention. You know what I teased an hour ago? And I teased in our before that five simple ways to save money and twenty thousand nine hundred. Yeah, this is what I've been looking forward to for the last three and a half hours. Come on get with it. Put down the shiny object. Started popping off and everything else. Hey, okay. These are job. I think that the story will live up to the teas now that's always a problem. You can do it. Okay. Here's one I did this recently at I can't believe how much money I save cutback on monthly subscriptions, think of all the things you're subscribing to. Oh, yeah. All of the things you're subscribing to that you have annual fee to the really donate. Okay. So that's one way you can start saving probably a nice little chunk of money. Make the unsubscribe button. Your new best friend my friends. Oh, yeah. On your Email. Now on your Email and on your text messages because they're sending those, you know, those free text messages out or whatever. Yeah. Absolutely. Yes. Let me see create monthly financial resolutions. This may sound overwhelming. But quick Windsor important right down twelve financial goals you'd like to achieve by the end of the year and assigned one to each month. Okay. So maybe it's like this. Maybe okay. I want to pay off this particular credit card by may. I want to save five hundred dollars by April. I liked that. So they doable. Find twelve things you can do between now and the end of the year that it's not pie in the sky. You can really do this. Because if you create something unreal, your you'll blow one then you'll blow off all the rest. Here's another traditional IRAs work on these save money now pay later system, and this system, you don't pay taxes on money, you contribute now, but you'll have to pay taxes when you take the money out. A better choice might be the riot. Roth IRA. Okay. And.

"The best night Levi stadium history. I'm calling it right now right here Bruce St. combat in the chronicle. You guys should check it out Levi's represented. Very very well. Well, great on the major. Thank you to Clemson in Alabama's fans and bands. They're the ones to fan bases. Get along pretty nicely. I think so buddy. Joe, right? I think any fights or anything that I saw. Applicable. Translates to on the field. It feels like there's a mass respect between the two programs. I didn't see anything like one of the things I've liked about getting turned onto this big time college football, the last few years is the fact that you don't see that kind of behavior or at least I haven't. And it sounds like there wasn't last night. The kind of will you come in on a Monday after any NFL game. You say, hey, did you see the fight in the bathroom hate to see the final concourse, and there's videos all over YouTube of NFL fans just pounding into oblivion right? I don't see college football fans fistfight. And I I think it's great. It's great for the atmosphere. Also, if you wanna bring your kids like not walking out of the bears game the other day. Yeah. This blaker. Did you blah, blah, blah. It's like, you know, what if you're like behind that guy with Declan? How do you explain that? Why wouldn't I be seeing him the other way speaking of which I walked out when I laughed, and I ain't gonna lie. I left pretty early in the fourth quarter. Hey sumi. I had to come entertain y'all where you live. That's a two hour long driving pretty long walks my car to anyway. So but I was walking. There's a lot of Alabama fans leaving. But they weren't like violently pissed. They took their beating. Yeah. They just took it because they've got six with say cheese. Can you be so, but anyway, I walked out with this couple kind of a well-heeled couple attractive monied, and they were walking out in the woman was saying to the man she goes in here little Alabama accent is just eavesdropping. She goes, I know for a fact that is a better quarterback, but it wasn't working. So that's when you put Jalen also to cats. As walking is like, well, that's a little eavesdrop right there so little Alabama. But she wasn't like there was nobody like you said barstool Carl's rant which he might have done just to get hits for all. We know. But anyway back to the game. It was this insatiable night pulsating with energy al-sayed. It was connected. The Levi's in the game. And the fans were connected. It was a really great experience made even better baby better affected. Imagine dragons rep at Treasure Island with imagine dragons ready to review the of their performance tried to watch little of it as possible kids. Like, I saw like while there's the problem, you know, what I mean urban perform where is he at he was in the parking lot. And I saw wise listen to this body jewelry that way back to imagine dragons just a second. Not I'd rather windy grammar your buddy, by the way, I don't know him. But he's a prolific LA. ESPN guy are cash Mur rush Markazi. I've never met arosh. Yeah. Okay. He sent out a snarky tweet about the Keith urban show because there was nobody. There was like the stage was there and there's like two people standing in front of it. He said Keith urban about rock about Iraq rock, this raucous, atmosphere Levi stadium and every like oh services is the worst place to have a game. And so he's like San Francisco Santa Clara looks terrible. And so I was like, oh, that's really embarrassing. So I got there. And I went the place was freaking took it to early. There was a two thousand fans I looked on the jumbotrons on the road. I looked up on the Jumbotron, look they were into it. Part of the partial rally the faithful mile. Lighthearted tweet as key urban is currently playing in the parking lot for your college. Football pleasure. So he's probably wondering when the AUSSIE rules national championship game start. This person's called one urban fan wrote to basic, he's an American for your information for more than half his life chill, baby. Got married. Hashtag was one urban fan. Okay, respect. It's not Michael. It's keith. So I was wondering actually kissed big Mike was shredding. I was like I wonder if probably would tell me he's not a bad guitar. She didn't see Keith urban. I didn't see. But I'm sure he is a star player. I'd be better. But I think those country guys get generally can can sing and play pretty well. A very a very family friendly country Entertainment's getting way too much. Imagine dragons cope every time. I turn around there. They arguing with drums. The light show. We're in the car. Your natural. You hear the funda- and the Murph the startling lack of the startling lack of melody. It's just too much equation. I can't handle it at the halftime show came on last night sashes in the kitchen. She's cooking something and she knows she hears. It come on a commercial. No. But they are in every commercial they're doing well. They're just commercial museum. The lead singers like six seven two. Man can pull that up. So anyway, and then at some point it was a little Wayne out there too was a little Wayne out there. He was out there. Guy. Now, Kyle Shanahan guy. He looked as I said he looked like ET when he has to dress. You know? It's funny. We haven't seen. Remember the titans, but we have seen it senior. Addresses exist. Ranko some weird like flip up. She I don't know. What's going on off? He wasn't a good connection to imagine drag. I couldn't tell you network they invited him anyway. So anyway, so here's the Alabama version of it. Now, listen, all sorts of history believer, a little Wayne's on is featured on it. Lever your net show role. Yeah. Copes you can save that. Right. There you go. I'm giving you these. I'm just playing them up for you right now. I know for a fact that is a better quarterback, but it wasn't working. So that's when you put Jalen. Southern Alabama girl coming out that's going to get my flip. We'll let that inner southern Belle out, Murph. You gotta let her out in my flip Wilson. Shoes for those umbrellas. He can like twisted on his shoulder when he walks we Chuck a bonnet on your head a bonnet. I know what you gotta put Jalen. Here's another touch creating Merced new look I got him with an umbrella on his shoulder. He can twist the bonnet, and then like one of those picnic baskets, like a wicker basket over his other arm, like filled with just you know, cheese, and drinks and stuff. Like that. I got you. Yeah. I'm singing surveys of what's the is on my Surrey with the fringe on. All right, and then missionary met Sally. Guess he's singing that in the in the room. And he runs into the that tough one Kirby. Rest in peace. You did that really good that? He does little to natural right is actually now that I heard it. I I've done an invitation my good friend Bill Nicholson, the Dallas Morning News. And that kind of sounded like my imitation of Bill Nichols of the Dallas Morning News. Yeah. But it wasn't working. I like the commitment. Murph fully committed to the character. The twenty eight point loss was the worst a Nick Sabin coached Alabama team has ever suffered by double the previous was fourteen points in the after all the way back. So the two thousand fourteen sugarbowl paulie, MAC, they lost Oklahoma forty five thirty one. Let's remember that game any loss to South Carolina in two thousand ten thirty five twenty one and he lost a Utah. Thirty one seventeen in the online sugarbowl Alabama as a program hasn't lost by that much since the ninety eight music city bowl when Mike do boasts was coaching thirty eight to seven at the time. Nick Sabin was at Michigan state, y'all. Wow. Right. ROI? Arrest y'all and for Nick Sabin personally. It's the worst loss he's ever suffered since go ahead four when he was at LSU and he lost a Georgia forty five sixteen. So that he didn't have an answer last night though, saving is a history. But here's and I think he earned some points for how old post game media really proud of our players really proud of our team. And I don't think that you know, one game necessarily defines who you are. And that's certainly what I'd like for our players to know. I think you learn a lot from experiences like this. We certainly didn't play very well the night, and we had some issues gotta congratulate Clemson they did a very very good job quarterbacks. Really good. Their skill players are really good. You know, we're actually stopped the run pretty well. And created enough third down situations. We just couldn't get off the field on third down. The couldn't capitalize on our opportunities that we had on offense nicely done by Nick Sabin. He's make honestly he made me feel better about couple of my crushing literally playoff losses. When he said one game doesn't necessarily. Define who you are. Thank you. Nick lot of coaches do that line. Don't let one loss to find. Who you are. That's that. You've heard your big on if a guy doesn't win a title. He's no good to you. I kind of am. I think the best players really are judged ultimately on whether or not they played at their best in the biggest on the biggest stages. I guess savings in the clear because he's got six of them. No question. And I really do believe Alabama will be right back there again next year. They'll be they'll be did. They have a little championship fatigue. Clemson was hungrier. Their fan base was bigger. What else becomes like mechanical after a while resume? All here, we go. We're going for another title, but the motivation there as defending champions. I think they're going to be a highly motivated next year. Obviously, you'll have a lot of incentives scares me. It starts to make me think of the dubs when you start saying all that was when the question. No question, you're seeing some of that. That's a good analogy. You startled me to with your Murph. Did some rough math earlier that if they keep up on this pace because tonight's the halfway point which was news to me. I didn't know that. I thought we still have a ways to go. And early right now is a little dose. Dose last night. I turned the game to get ready, and I'm still electric Murphy. I got to say you said if they continue on this pace it'll be fifty three win season, which is for a parade, which is great. But at the same time, it's not it's not near that curse. Standard averaged sixty six how about a Marcus is I will go back to the national championship in a sec. Marcus's kind of breakdown on Draymond kind of worries me to a league has figured him out his defensive rating. He's a excuse me one hundred eighty and he was talking about winning the defensive player of the year word, by the way. This segment.

"Levi stadium for the college football national championship game with Kevin Francis. Andrew. Author. Touchdown. Nearly flawless. Thank you so much for hanging out with us Jehovah cabin. Franson live at Levi stadium the site of the national championship game with Clinton beating Alabama forty four sixteen. It's been a wild evening. No doubt. No, white, Clemson one practice housi- stages Lee. We'll go Spartacus burdens is that while the fifteen in is that why? Is that why they're now fifty two what I on day. Thanks, San Jose State the other day for using the deal their facilities, and I tweeted at Clemson football. I said, hey, look when when you guys win don't you fund the entire sounds estate State Athletic program football team for a couple of years just a little bit of your budget. I mean. It's a little little higher than than most. Take it. Imagine though, if if one of the bay area teams won a national championship. Let's just say Stanford wins throw it out there. This is let's just say in the weird world in the weird. I don't think enough people you said that you said that because that's and it makes me mad 'cause you know, how into college football. I love it. You devoured which is like a I don't think they will not enough. People would appreciate it. Yeah. See that's what that's what I think is. Well, big lady tonight. They would celebrate. And do all that tomorrow. It'd be like wait Stanford one. Yeah. One of the giants when spring training. That's everybody. All everybody cares about it would just be interesting to me though to see what the landscape in the bay area. It'd be like say Stanford ones national championship. I would love to see it would be as I'm going to be honest with you. I would love to see it. I mean, if they played tonight Levi's would it be as rabid as it was because it was pretty racy turn that is pretty. Do they? I actually, you know, what in general. I think the stamper were to of played here for the national title zoo. Yeah. Yeah. I think it would be a pretty rabid, right? It's not gonna be the Clemson tradition of everything. But I think the bay area in general would come out to support them and try to get you know, as much behind Stanford as they could just go there. I think everything that went on for this national championship game was outstanding from the tailgate to the to the way that they set everything up to the actual game itself the production. The product was outstanding. And I have been fortunate in my life to been to to now have been at to college championship games, d twenty twelve NC double a college basketball championship with Kentucky, and Kansas and New Orleans. And of course, tonight, Clemson beating Alabama for their. For their championship. So it's it's a crazy. It's a crazy atmosphere, and I just I wanted to ask that question about this goes down this game, right alone. USC is blasted blasted Oklahoma by what thirty five thirty eight or get the the Orange Bowl for the national title. It was Alabama over Notre Dame was like twenty five point game. And this ranked second in a national title game is the biggest blow up. This is the second. Biggest blowout in championship. Match-up in itself. You would never thought it like when USC dominated Oklahoma. You knew that was going to happen. Not like not by thirty five or whatever it was thirty eight. You just knew that they were going to beat them by a few scores. This one zero chance if there was going to be a blow out who's going to be Alabama. I think that's what it was the consensus around if it was a blowout of any kind. It would have been Alabama known was saying like oh comes and doesn't have a chance at it. Real good chance. Yeah. Absolutely. We thought it was going to be a close win for them. Absolutely the day because I don't think anyone saw that the Alabama defense was going to have the worst first-half performance under Nick Sabin ever thirty one points for Clemson in that first half three scores by obviously by both teams in the first five minutes is this game was the game took off like a rocket. But there's so many things that happened throughout the course of the game that I don't think even the experts song. The big plays. Clemson was making the consistency of Trevor Lawrence. And like I said the defense is absolutely blowing in the first half for Alabama. All these things combined got the Tigers themselves national championship. Anyway. A number before we give our final thoughts. What happened this evening because like I said, we're with you told me get to rainy and panel talk about tonight's game. What's up? Randy. You're on kmby eight. Great game was just because it was the place that Dwight Clark. He is a legend. And he was a Clemson, man. And I thought that was a great great thing. That happens is they put the statue out today or not today, but earlier this year, and I thought it was the greatest thing they win at that place. So you make connection with Clemson winning. And then Dwight Clark. Jerry Rice talking to question yesterday. Yeah. Yeah. Or or on Saturday, he gave the speech. It was all based on talking to about Dwight Clark, and what he meant and all that stuff. Yeah. That's a it's incredible. To think that we got into the place tonight into Levi's and you're thinking. Dwight was here this year. Clemson is here this year. It's eerie tie for sure. And it's a it's a great time. Because you think about it in the sadness that it comes with death. Also comes there's a there's a lot of light that comes out of this. And that's a you talk about what uplift a lot of people was talking about Dwight Clark. Yeah. Then the flood of good memories happened after that appreciate the phone. Call. Thank you very much. All right. Coming up next. We'll get back into the NFL give our final thoughts down tonight. And then I also want to ask you one baseball question before the the evening because you know, it's rumors, and it's massive Bumgarner. And I gotta ask you coming up through offer. But he wants to honor. Jalen hurts. Thanksgiving is the right thing to do for both of those reasons. Yeah. I do. Perhaps he could ignite them a lead them for behind against Georgia in the SEC championship game. He said I got hurt. But this would be something else down by twenty eight hurts takes a shotgun. "Levi stadium Santa Clara, California, the fifth national championship game of the college football playoff era. Sean McDonough Todd Blackledge in the booth down on the field. Holly role and Fitzsimmons. Officially a forty four yard interception return for a touchdown. By j Tyrrell just did a great job of reading the quarterback at his eyes locked right on to a tongue Loa to through a hot route. And as soon as that ball was released. He knew it was a problem for now. Clemson will kick off and unlike the kickoff man boulevard for Alabama. They have a touchback machine does Plumpton and the true freshman BT Potter. Seventy two touch Bax in one hundred and six kickoff taking off from right to left from the hash. Mark Josh Jacobs back deeper Alabama. That's about eight yards deep in the end zone. And they let it bounce around. So a great start for Clarkston. Todd both coaches set during the week were evenly matched teams that might come down to who makes the big plays. That's an early very big play at one. I don't think anybody including us would have expected the first touchdown of the game being scored by the Clemson defense to explosive offense huge play for the Clemson defense. How would expect to see Alabama trying to get their running game going a little bit in this possession tongue by Loa had thrown four interceptions all year and fourteen games? As compared to forty one touchdown passes. He's out of the pistol Damian Harris just behind the left lapses hands hands it off their Harris off right guard into the defensive line after about a three yard. Kendall Joseph trae Lamar couple of linebackers there for Clemson a gain of three months of one of the best in the country. Only allows two point four yards per carry Alabama has to be patient with their running game. They can't abandon it. Just because Clemson so difficult to run at typically. Clemson best in the country and scoring defense twelve point nine points per game. Again, the gun for Tunga by Loa Clemson shows blitz brings in a one and a good one baby at Harris traffic up the middle man out to the thirty eight yard line finally tackled along the far hash marks after a nine yard gain. He covered a lot of ground running from hash. Mark the hash Mark during that Nygaard run bolted. These teams a lot of depth at running back. We'll see three guys rotating in their liberally for Alabama. Just Jacobson the game. Now. Well, twenty four to go first quarter, Clemson leading seven, and I think first and ten Alabama tide credit song thirty eight yard line. Lemelson crowding line seven Matt up hung over low A place. Eight drops deeper back to the thirty pills. A long ball. Jerry. Safety banner news the ball near the twenty and had some news was close but not close enough. And it's a sixty two yard Alabama. Touchdown was a beautiful move by Jerry, Judy. He faked like he was going to the post and tantrum used the safety bid on that route. And then he took it up the field deep excellent protection because this was long developing route. Let you vacate the middle and you put your safeties in coverage. It's not a good idea to do that against to a Tunga by law who was right on target. The quick bounce back after the interception. Joseph all of us, a very low line drive extra point but just high enough to get through and tie the game. The extra point brought to you by AllState. Allstate knows the football season is mayhem. That's why they're reminding fans mayhem can show up on game day. Imagine what can happen the rest of the week. So get better protected. We'll all stay we've had some mayhem here. Already less than three minutes in already two touchdowns. Twelve o five left. First quarter, Clemson seven Alabama seven. It should be what I just said show with stugatz on ESPN radio and ESPN news. It's Golic and wingo. The entire list in the history of the NFL of wide receivers that I've had six straight seasons with at least one hundred catches Antonio Brown and list. Yeah, I get it. Somebody somebody put a lot of money for th-, and they wanted to to to bring it out there. We've actually are through it. Fox's done. We did the Pac twelve title game there and just on Monday. We did the red box bowl the Michigan state matchup Levi stadium or the Niners play for Alabama Clemson fans who are planning on making the trip bring your wallet. 'cause it's not cheap to go fly out there. And and so they're not going to be cheap to stay out there. So, you know, it's very it's a gorgeous part of the part of the country. That was the game that I struggled to find anyone in the stands. Yeah. There was a decent contingent from Utah and not a lot from Washington. And I'll be honest the last two games we did the game for the Pac ball and that one on Monday. I think they probably around thirty thousand for each and it's an NFL stadium. So it's it's it's been a sensually half-full. Hopefully, there'll be a lot more people than that on Monday night is I mean, I realize you've been in Florida in elsewhere. Dexter Lawrence Among 3 Clemson Players with Failed Drug Tests for Ostarine

"You have big games for Kirk cousins. And and guys like that. But ultimately the goal for every game is to win the game going out win the game. The bears won the game fourteen two nine some people say not an impressive game. You know, what they want the game in the NFL is not easy to win yesterday half. The teams lost the bears were not one of those teams. They won the game fourteen two nine Seattle went to Levi's stadium last week and played the Niners. Guess what Seattle lost? So you know winning is the ultimate goal. And that's what the bears have been able to do bears defense. Of course is a team is is the biggest part of this team. They got another interception yesterday as daddy to Raith and picked off a pass late in the game. Which was obviously. Big. No they needed to do that. I was really interested to see how they were gonna play without Eddie Jackson and they'll probably play without Eddie Jackson. Again this coming week. I think this coming week without any Jackson. Going up against the Minnesota Vikings team that needs the win to guarantee themselves a playoff spot. This is going to be a test for Dionne Bush at Adrian Amos ammos actually had a really good game. I was looking to some of the numbers earlier and let me see here. He's not running this one. I have I had so much stuff on the game where Adrian ammos actually had a pretty decent game. Would I grab his tackle numbers for the contest? And that was good to see because Adrian, ammos, he was second on the team in tackles. Roquan Smith had nine tackles Adrian animals had eight. So he stepped up his game without Eddie Jackson being their trevathan was seven Khalil Mack had five. You only had one sack that was the roquan Smith when he came wide open. So very very important stuff. How the bears are going to play defensively playing against the Niners without very good receivers. And when the young quarterback is one thing playing defense with Kirk cousins and Adam Phelan and Stefan digs and Kyle Rudolph. That's a whole other story playing in their building. So that's gonna be real interesting to see how the bears are able to play and defend this Minnesota Vikings team three one two three three two three seven seven six. Let's get back to some baseball talk to old town Georgia on ESPN thousand eight George. It looks like betting that they're trying to force. The dodgers handle that extra clearance on the payroll, which is I think, you know. Was the master. And I think a fallback of Pollock would be fantastic. If he stays help you what do you think? Yeah. Stephen Pollock healthy is a huge huge situation. You know, if in fact, you got him you could that actually move guy like Albert, Al more. If you're going to cause I still think they're gonna have to move one of those three guys I've been saying that all off season and it hasn't happened yet. So maybe I'm wrong. But I kind of thought they would move either. Now, Mora Ishwar or a half the more. I look at it. It's not going to be Schwarzer. They love Schwarzer. He's like one of their kids one of their little kids their own kids as well. I think it would be either Hapoel more if they did grab a guy. Like Pollock that'd be a completely different story. But you you think the the Harper situation, you don't think there's any changes coming here. Do you? I really think he's he's kind of an LA kinda dude. If you know what I mean? With the hair. Coast to coast. I mean seems like the perfect fit out there. But why not force the hand if we can and try to call back. He get stronger on our end. George. Appreciate the call. The one thing that I think the cubs have gone forms aproach the season first of all they won ninety five games last year. Okay. It's not like they you know, they had an awful season. They didn't hit in the last month earlier. It didn't hit in down the stretch, and they need to figure out why. And it's so it was so much fun. Watching the ball, very rarely say this.

U.S. Womens Soccer Team to play at Levis in advance of World Cup

"You're listening to the spoken edition of the San Francisco Chronicle. U S women's soccer team to play at Levi's and advance of World Cup till Alice. The head coach of the US women's national soccer team has made no secret of how much she enjoys her teams appearances in the bay area. So it's no surprise that. The US team will make a local stop on its countdown to the Cup tour in advance of the two thousand nineteen women's World Cup in France. As the team sets it sight on a fourth World Cup championship. Would is a surprise. However is the choice of venue rather than play at via stadium. As in recent years. The women will take on the vast expanses of Levi's stadium. Arguably the most popular national team in the country. The US women will play South Africa on may twelve at one thirty pm at Levi's which holds sixty eight thousand five hundred the matches part of a ten game series to prepare and promote the team in advance of the women's World Cup which begins on June. And even a baseball stadium Busch stadium in St Louis. The last time the US team played in an NFL venue Qualcomm in San Diego in July two thousand seventeen they drew twenty one thousand ninety six in the past four year cycle since their championship in the last World Cup the largest crowd. They drew was forty four thousand twenty eight at Heinz field just a month after winning their third World Cup title the US women famously turned conventional wisdom on its head in the nineteen ninety nine World Cup. When their games were played at NFL stadiums, though, many doubters scoffed beforehand that the event could fill such a large building the events were sold out and changed perceptions of the popularity of women's sports when the United States took on Chile in a friendly at via stadium last September Ellis professed her love for the venue. For Cal in the Big Game, its always maybe next year

"You're listening to the spoken edition of the San Francisco Chronicle. For Cal in the big game. It's always maybe next year. There are times when a habit never grows old Stanford's football program nose. The feeling no matter how often the cardinal beat cow, and that's nine street wins after Saturday's twenty three thirteen victory. There's an exhilarating freshness to carrying the axe around the field, and it's all the sweeter. If it happens in strawberry canyon. There wasn't much to say about the game. Not with the bears. Simply refusing to accept the golden opportunities coming their way, there were no trombone players on the field. No mud-soaked miracles or fond farewells Trump beloved coach, none of the vivid developments that have characterized the big games history. And it's not such a crushing development for the bears. Seven five who will feel better about things when they're bowl game to be determined. Sunday comes around later this month. Still nothing discuss Cal sporting community. Like the site of Stanford winning this game with the student section big. Sunlight people. Were in. No rush to leave not even after Paulson debates. Forty three yard interception return setup. Stanford's final score in the weaning minutes. This had been terrific day for attendance to the point where the announced figure of fifty seven thousand eight hundred fifty eight actually seemed a few thousand short making a pleasant. Contrast to the desolate Levi stadium Friday nights Pac twelve championship game, oddly, the only disappointing attendances you was on Stanford's end of the six sections set aside for the red-clad visitors in the stadium southeast corner. Some were notable for their vacancy, but the voices were loud and proud backed by the ever ninety Stanford band, and those people got a mighty reward at game's end heading their way trotting joyously across the field. We're seniors Jake Bailey. JJ Sega Whiteside and Ryan Beecher toting the weighty impressive acts as so many Stanford players have done before in a rivalry carrying this much tradition. You'd like to think they trade the thing off on occasion. But. This trophy has become strictly farm property. It's always maybe next year for cow. Always a sense of envy and regret. Nobody expected the bears passing game to even approach Stanford's high-powered attack led by quarterback cage Acosta. Hello and our Sega Whiteside who entered the game with fourteen touchdown catches. And yet the chances were there and roundly blown in the second quarter with Stanford leading ten three quarterback. Chase Garber had Jordan Dunkin open in the end zone on a third and five pass from the seven yard line. But overshot him Dunkin barely getting a fingertip on the ball the bear settled for another. Greg Thomas field goal wide receiver. Jeremiah Hawkins had a couple of nice catches on the day. But he'll mostly be remembered dropping a perfect pass along the right sideline in the third quarter costing the bears about a twenty yard play and killing Dr. Then there was a deebo spectacular end zone. Interception early in the fourth quarter. Notable by the fact that the intended receiver MO ways was nowhere near the ball. All when garbs finally connected on a touchdown. Throw an eleven yard Dunkin. There were just ten seconds left in the game. He's a younger player, and he's got to continue to improve coach Justin Wilcox that have gardeners. I thought he took a step forward. One hundred ninety seven yards passing to Custos two hundred thirty seven even though there were some opportunities. He would love to have back. You're going to have a tough time beating Stanford if you're not scoring touchdowns in describing the mood of his post game locker room Wilcox said everybody's kicked in the gut. And as the regular season ends that could apply in large part to the entire pack twelve aside from the lamentable TV contract and ever do be officiating. The championship game is an ongoing disaster Levi stadium with a contract running through next season and an option for twenty twenty beyond that it's likely to find a more lively neutral site home in Las Vegas. But if anyone's thinking clearly that game should be returned to the home fields of top seeded teams as it was in two thousand thirteen. In Stanford overcame, a hostile setting to win at Arizona state. Then again, it's tough for anyone to think clearly when packed off Commissioner Larry Scott seem so consistently misguided even the Washington and Utah fans were booing Scott during Friday nights postgame ceremony. But why so many reasons I'd start with the fact that college football, and especially the Pac twelve needs an eighteen playoff. While Scott preposterously insists that four is absolutely the right number as for the lingering mood after Saturday's big game. It was a time for Stanford's Victoria's chance and Cal second thoughts. There's nothing you can tell our guys right now that will make them feel better said Wilcox. There was deep appreciation. However for a home crowd that finally resembled a big time collegiate atmosphere gazing into the jam-packed eastern stands. I just stood there at enjoyed the moment said senior Maliki McMorris the rumble. In stumble in fullback who provided a few choice moments during the game, you see videos all the time of how the police used to be rock. Courageous 49ers cheerleader has my MVP vote

"You're listening to the spoken edition of the San Francisco Chronicle. Courageous forty Niners cheerleader has my MVP vote by Scott Osler. It's a little early to hand out the NFL MVP award. But you know, what they say votary and vote often. So I'm voting for Kayla Morris Morris is a member of the forty Niners gold rush dance team when the raiders played the forty Niners Levi's stadium on Thursday. The gold rush was on the field for the national anthem Morris. First dente fide by KRLD channel four took a knee. Will she be kicked off the squad suspended warned or reprimanded? That's a mystery. The team is in commenting on Monday. She was listed as a gold rush member on the team's website since team owner jed York has expressed support for the protesters starting within forty Niners quarterback, Colin Kaepernick. It seems unlikely Morris will be punished that would be a tragic organizational cop out it takes backbone to stay. End up for the nealer 's and your along with one or two other NFL owners has stood tall side note. Eric read a free agent safety with protests, baggage was signed by the Panthers four games ago. The forty Niners also made him an offer and on Sunday. He sparked Carolina's win over Tampa Bay with an interception. He was awarded a game ball apparently the distraction slash circus of a player. Taking a knee has not destroyed. The Panthers capper Nick read and others risk their careers to make an important statement courageous stuff for sure, but they already had made millions in the NFL Morris in her second season with the gold. Rush has not made millions in the NFL. She's made hundreds who knows what ramifications Morris faces at her day job or in her life. She's choosing not to comment so much for protesters seeking spotlight criticism capper Nick is still the face of the protest. But sadly, he's also the spokesman for don't waste your time. Voting and is the darling of the vote suppression movement capper Knicks protests and community action are still valid and productive. But the take an e movement has a new leader may be President Trump will take notice and refer to her as a daughter of a bitch that deal be is in the.
