"What would you do since I still don't know how AJ Prowler has a job, but I guess he's you know in for life, but if you're gonna sit down and consult him to make up for this year's mess How would you go about it? I would try to move one of the big contracts. I mean, I don't know. It's it's it's just a really sticky situation. I mean in a dream world I I would would love to move Bogart's contract because I really didn't understand that signing when they made it and then I would take you know use some of that money to at least try to retain Kim for a long -term deal Cuz he'll be gone at the end of 2024 if they can't resign him obviously Soto is on the horizon as well Blake Snell is having a Cy Young season and he's a free agent. He's a free agent. So yeah, It doesn't really matter man because college football starts in ten minutes. Exactly. I'm glad you said that baby. I am glad you said that. Do I look any different since the last time we spoke? Kind of snazzy. I think you made a made a quick change in the bathroom I think. I have to run from here directly to my TV station to do a pregame show. Yeah. I'm gonna be talking about Divine Diablo. Yes. There's that is one of the best names in all of football. That's a really good one. And by the way, he's a little bit of a bit of a secret, but I am gonna make the point if he doesn't progress to where they think he is, this is the pecker for the Raiders. He's like an undersized linebacker, great speed, covers a lot of a field. Right. That whole defense is dependent on him developing as a dynamic player. He has to be a dynamic player, but he has to be the leader too. The middle linebacker is such an important position in football, especially now with the way they spread the field and being able to communicate to all those guys, their assignments in the middle, not only making plays for himself, but know the guys in position as well. And so it's going to be big to see. And I love that lavender color shirt too, by the way. Yes, I go purple I actually have sort of a gray suit. It works out well. I did not coordinate these. I have zero. I mean, you're a close you know how to dress. You know, I have back in my day, you know, Esquire top three, know, you top three dress, you know, athletes in the, you know, in the, in the world, I'll say the world. And you know, I've had that moment has come and gone, but I'll say you look really good though. Yeah, I'm hanging in for the old guy. Alright, so let's talk some college football for a second that we got the Notre Dame Navy game under our belt. We're about an hour plus away from USC kicking it off against San Jose State. I just want to go from your own college football experience Prince at Louisville, at and obviously all your years in the NFL. It's just always amazing to me when you talk to football players that have played in the NFL. Right. And it seems like their fondness for their college years grows and grows and grows, and then you get out of the NFL and so many of them revert to their college identity, even if they've had a Hall of Fame NFL careers. For sure, because those years are your performative years, right? And so you're having real long lasting relationships that really mean something really matter. You're coming from high school situations where, especially if you're going to a big university, you're being introduced to this diversity that you haven't probably seen in your years in high school, especially for myself. I mean, I'm from Bessemer, Alabama, where it's 99 .9 % black. And so you step into this big university where your eyes are opened and brought into this whole new world and you start making friendships that last forever. And you also have the memories of becoming a man. It's your formative years. You're becoming a man you're and realizing you're seeing the world in a different lands. And it's just, it doesn't compare to the NFL at all. It really doesn't. LeVar Arrington, our buddy here at Fox Sports Radio, obviously a superstar at Penn state, you know, in the College Football Hall of Fame, he said, You know what it was like for me to run out onto the field, 100 ,000 Penn State with my hands and everyone, you could hear the roar when you're 19, 20 years old. Steve, I remember running out and it always sticks with me. Enter the Sandman was the song that we ran out to. know And I a lot of schools and a lot of teams do that. But for me, like I said, coming from my background, that wasn't something we were playing at the time. So to walk out into, you know, Cardinal Stadium and hear that song and just get juiced up and revved up and obviously I was one of the best players at that time, obviously. But to have that experience and to feel that jubilation from all the college kids and knowing that they're also your friends as well. Yeah. Nothing like it. It really isn't. I mean, and again, it was funny. We were talking to Adam Kaplan, who's married to the that. He says I'm not really into the college football scene, but it's just amazing to me all these years of knowing so many players NFL that have become dear friends over the years. And it's all the same. I mean, it's about their college years and the friendships and the teammates they had. You know, think about the NFL. business. It's a It becomes a job. And you see that right away. These men are trying to support their families, not bond and have forged friendships with everybody on that team. It's not the same. Yeah. And you run out in the field and it's not like the same atmosphere or anything else. Well, we're looking forward to both. And obviously, week zero already halfway home,

"You listen. As much as I was watching the NFL Draft last night, I actually had multiple feeds up of the draft. I was trying to escape Twitter to your point, brockman because Twitter does give away and you jinxed us yesterday, you jinx me personally. Yes, you did. You jinxed me. Because you brought up one of our guys who we love talking to. By the way, was he tipping pix last night? He was tipping last night. He told me he warned me to do it. I should have muted my guy Albert brewer last time. 5 minutes of time on Twitter last night. I have to mute Albert last night because here I am, Albert brewers tipping pics. I'm like, oh, okay, the pick is in. On Twitter, I'm looking at Albert's feed. I'm like, cool. Team taking such and such. I look, it's still 7 minutes on the clock. I'm like, I gotta wait 7 minutes to this pick is announced. And here's already and gave me the pick. So out there. Pick 7, that early. He was tipping pixels. He was 7. I gotta be honest with you. It's wild to me, you know, our joke around here is like me not being on Twitter, but you know I still check the show Twitter. I had no problem. I think I looked at the only time I looked at Twitter was to check our feed. In case you wanted me to jump in the post videos and you handle them all. Other than that, I just watched the network. I watched what those guys were saying. It was very easy for me to stay. Because I was doing a lot of Instagram work too. Yeah, you did a great job on Instagram. I completely stayed off of Twitter. There was no problem. I had the NFL network on and I was about ten minutes behind. I had the double TV watching themselves. Same with me. So it was like, I had no problem staying off. It was easy. I was just every time I picked that came on that I guess that we had. I throw that video out on the show page so you can watch the our full conversation with bijan Robinson, will Anderson, Broderick Jones, all these guys that got started. In studio, and then tried to tell you, Albert was typically compromised. I'm watching the basketball game too, so it was getting good, especially right at the end of the third quarter, game was really tight. And I was like, okay, this can go either way. And then you had the Atlanta fans really starting to get into it. And I'm like, oh, how is this going to end? And so I would focus on the basketball game and try to get caught up on what our baby have had missed in the draft, but I'm like, you know, 6, 5 or 6 minutes still left on the clock. So I go check Twitter because I just want to get information, I like to follow a couple of research accounts just to get some of the stories. One of the things is the first time selection by the same school in the top three and that goes to Bryce young will Anderson. Pick number one pick number three. Last time we had that 2020, chase young Jeff akuta picked two and picked three right here. Right. And then he before that Sam Bradford Gerald McCoy and the 2010 NFL Draft and if for all my old heads out there like myself, remember Courtney Brown. Number one, overall, with pitch from Penn State state. Levar arrington went number two. So that's like the research I'm like always looking for and yet all of a sudden I see Albert breer tip of the pick and I'm like, I'm trying to scroll past it, but now I've seen it so I couldn't do that, but I did sink in a little NBA last night, broccoli. Because obviously I was invested only because of you because a couple days before, I'm like, I'm not watching NBA. Why am I watching? But I do want to watch Lil Trae Young. I wanted to see Kenneth Celtics wrap this thing up. There was no doubt I thought they would win. But they toyed around for a little bit, but at the end of the day, they pull off the victory one 28 to one 20 and again, we got the Trae Young chance. Why does everybody hate Trae Young so much? Is there a reason why it's just because he's good? I think TJ maybe backed me up in this. Does he have one of those faces? I know those faces you're talking about. Some people are very punchable. I wasn't gonna say it, but he's got one of those faces. I don't agree. I feel it's like this. Anytime guys, and Steph Curry gets this a little bit. Anytime a dude can just pull up from like 30 and make it look like a layup. Right. I don't know, people tend to not like that. I think that's a little unlikeable. The fact that he can do something that you can't do. So it's like a little show off. Maybe a little show off. Like the little jealousy of people because they make these shots look easy. But yeah, when I know exactly. And I can give you a few of those faces. But I don't think Trae Young's one. He's like a babyface kind of really. But it is remarkable that people, especially the New York crowd and had such an issue with. I think for me, too, it's just a big sigh relief. Okay. Like, didn't want to have to take it to the what if scenario of a game 7, even though it would be at home, which, you know, the Celtics didn't even protect it in game 5. So the fact that that was such a close game, they had a 7 point lead. We had a 7 point lead, close game at the half. The defense did a great job shutting down Trey young. He had 25 in the first, only 5 in the second half. Did a great job setting him down. Marcus smart. At one point, I was screaming at the TV. Why is he in the game take him out? And then he hits a big dagger three at the end. Jason Tatum probably had the most quiet 30, 14 and 7 game in NBA playoff history. And so now get a chance to rest up for a day or two, and then it's Philadelphia. Here we go. It's going to be, it's one of the oldest rivalries in playoff history, TJ, these teams have gone at each other. Time and time again, seemingly every year they meet in the playoffs. And buckle up, here we go again, this is going to be a 6 or 7 game series, and depending on if Joel embiid is healthy or not, you know, Philly's Philly's dangerous, man.

During breaks or in the layup line you'll see who's there. But like, you know, what if there's an actress who's there, or like Jay-Z's court say? You're not interested? No. Because they're there to see me. No different than what I'm going to a concert to see them. Their job is to perform. So okay. The 20 23 NFL Draft is here, and that, well, that's my Wheelhouse. If you're an NFL Draft obsessive, my podcast, the season with Peter schrager, has got you covered. It was just brought to my attention, we didn't play the bijan Robinson game. I don't know what the bijan Robinson game is, but it's last call, so Pauline explained the bijan Robinson game. Pretty simple, Dan, who will draft bijan Robinson. Not who should who will? We played this a couple weeks ago, bijan Robinson, but none of us can remember what we picked. Okay. So we'll play it again because we can't remember who. John, I'll start with you and the bijan Robinson game, where does the talented Texas running back end up? The Tampa bay Buccaneers are gonna take bijan Robinson. Okay. See no Connor. I had him going to the buffalo bills last time. Or down in the first round, but just to increase my likelihood of being right, I'm gonna change it now to the Atlanta Falcons, either one of them come in, I'm right. No, you don't get credit for buffalo. The only one that's right counts. That's the way this business works. New policy. Marvin? I'm also going with the Atlanta Falcons. Let's go. You know, that's the betting favorite. Pauly. The Baltimore Ravens surround the offense, win now, get Hopkins, they're gonna get Hopkins later today as well. I will say the bijan Robinson game. I'm gonna say the Philadelphia Eagles take bijan Robinson. Yeah. And just like all the draft analysts, we have no idea what we're talking about. Yeah, smart. What color suit is bijan Robinson gonna wear? Well, I told him, if you want to give a little nod to some burnt orange in there, that's fine. But I'd say, you know, go dark, clean suit. That's it. Nice, clean, crisp, maybe a pocket hanky that has the Texas longhorns, maybe your tie, picks up the pocket acne, a little things there. Don't go crazy. And I would bring up the bijan mustard when he hugs the commissioner. And I would actually do a photo. I would hug him and then I would bring out the mustard, and then I would hand it to the commissioner, a little product placement there. Let's see. Blake and Illinois. Hi Blake, what's on your mind? Hey, Dan, how's it going? Great Blake. Just got a quick draft question for you. As a lifelong TCU fan, I'm pretty shocked that max duggan is not predicted to go in the first round. I mean, you got a guy from Florida and a guy from Kentucky projected to go in front of him. I don't understand that at all. So just curious as to why you think that is given that he was the Heisman runner up and also curious

If you love NASCAR, organized crime and civil rights, boy, do I got a story for you? Back in 20 15, a rookie driver named Derek white made history as the first ever indigenous driver in the NASCAR Cup Series. But just a few months later, he was arrested in Canada's largest ever police operation. Cops had spent more than a year following his every move because they believed Derek white was a major figure in an international criminal organization. He was the front man if you will for the organized crime slash hells angels. Well, see, that's one thing that did and really do their homework. We dispatched Aaron Rodgers walk into the building and he got to meet everybody, coach GM, owner, handshakes, bro hugs, had a little backpack on, looked like first day of school. Haircut took off his took off his Tom Cruise aviator glasses as he walked in. And the thing is, is that it looks like it's in slow motion. That's actually how Aaron Rodgers was moving when he was meeting with the jets. Soaking it all in. From shams, Kawhi Leonard diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his right knee. He averaged 35 points in the first two games, but the meniscus injury was revealed and he was shut down by medical staff. And it goes back to what I've said before. People were critical that he wasn't being tough or, you know, hey, it's 60%. You're better than somebody at 95%. Got to get in there. And I kept saying he wants to play, there's a reason why he's not playing. He's hurt. And then, I mean, I've been nice if they said, look, he's not playing. He's got a torn meniscus. But what do you do next year? What can you do next year? Except for, let's try it one more time with these two. I don't know if Kawhi is going to be available for what, 60 games again? And who else would be interested in? It's either Kawhi plays or tries to play or maybe doesn't play at all. Again. Maybe his career is over. Paul George, you're going to bring him back again. Did you bring back Russell Westbrook? You know, that roster getting older, don't have players under contract after 2024. You got an owner moving into a new arena, what could go wrong? Everything. Tanner's 5 quarterbacks expected in round one, round one or two. Okay. I'll name the quarterback, then we go around the room with the team that selects them. It'll be Bryce young, then CJ Stroud, then Anthony Richardson, then we'll love us then hinden hooker of Tennessee. Bryce young, he will go to, I'll start, Carolina Panthers. I think I said Carolina. Marv, Panthers. All right. Satan Carolina. All right, Todd. Panthers. Okay. CJ Stroud, I will go with the Indianapolis Colts. All right? I forget who I picked. That doesn't help this segment, Dan. No, it doesn't. I think I picked the Houston Texans. Officially, that's officially your pick. I think. Oh boy. Is anybody know where dent? Dylan's got my building's got my picks there. And if he put the graphics up, we'd know it. Yeah, I gave him to him so he can make a graphic force. Todd where does CJ Stroud go? Houston, Texans. Follow. Your Tennessee Titans. What you think Arizona will do with the number three pick up? What would you do if you were still the GM of the Cardinals? Well, I think it's certainly the situation that we're in right now, Dan. I think that there's a good chance that they would trade back. That being said, it's easier said than done because of the situation. When you're sitting there number three, you have to have a trade partner. Obviously, the trade has to work for both parties. And there has to be a player that the other team wants to come up for. So generally that's a quarterback at that point in time, but if they get locked in, I think that they should probably go past Russia and will Anderson to me is the pick there. Okay, but when you're trying to explore trade like that, are you thinking about the other team? Have you ever gone into a trade trying to flee somebody? I mean, obviously you want to come out on top, but at the same time, the other team to make that trade has to have a lot of urgency to them. Especially to come up to that position and to give up that much draft capital. So to me, it's not as hard. Yeah, I wonder about that with GMs. We heard both GMs yesterday with Green Bay and also the jets. They were complimentary of each other that they got a deal done. Your reaction, let's start with what the jets gave up to get Aaron Rodgers. What did you make of that side of this trade? I thought when you sit there and you're in a position with jets are in and Joe Douglas is looking at a football team that's extremely talented but doesn't have a quarterback of that magnitude.

Like you said he has a villain, tendencies, which is good because it makes folks want to come see him to either love him or hate him. We're doing the show and I was like, man, could you imagine growing up playing basketball? Because everybody played youth basketball growing up. And I was like, if I came up, dribbled the ball up the court and pulled up from 26 feet and shot a three. My ass should get better. The whistle would have blown so fast. Get on this bench. And my dad would have taken an extension cord to me out back. He would have been what are you doing? That selfish basketball. Steph Curry changed the way that thought process worked. And that strategy in basketball worked, and that whole mentality completely changed it. Well, Trey young was one of the guys who was the first to start playing like Steph Curry. And successful. It worked. And so the idea that because you've had a down year and he was butting heads and one of the articles that I was reading said that the problem with Trae Young is that you had players in the locker room who kind of cited with Nate McMillan over Trae Young, like they thought Trey was the problem, not McMillan and now he's gone and Trae Young's there and you just wonder are players in that locker room looking around going.

You know what guys, look, it's raining and it's cold everywhere in the country right now. Snow on the ground flights delayed at everything. Look, I just want to I just would like to point out the temperature drops below 40 in California for a week. Vijay comes in with a full beard. All right. You're not fooling me one day He's got a burberry scarf on like he's late for his baby shower right now. I just want everybody to know. You're not tough, all right? You're not tough. I'm fresh, baby, RES, age, baby. What's up, man? I was going on Martin going on everybody out there. Fox Sports radio land man. Yeah, it's cold out here, man. Cole is funny. I was texting my pops. Yesterday, and he was talking about the web out there. You guys, okay, I say yes, it's cool, but I realized my blood is thinned out. This would not be cold to me 8 or 9 years when I first got to LA for the second time move over here. This wasn't a big cold. The last two days, bro it's been cold. So you had to break out the husky university hoodie that I ain't worn so I had to join about 20 years and broke out the scarf man because the hawk be all on your neck. You got to get the hawk off your neck, man, so I don't want my neck all cold, so I thought, I thought it looked good too, man. Trying to grow the bed and do something different, you know? I'll tell you, you want to talk about soft. I would say, this is a phrase that I had never heard before I moved to Michigan, but it's brick outside. Brett, it is brick outside. And it's going to get down to 36 tonight. That's cold. I don't care where you are. That's 36 is cold. It depends because in Baltimore, in the famous scene in the wire. In which stringer bell, let's talk about 30°. Maybe out there shivering. Yeah. 50°. They got flip flops on their barbecue. Yeah. Nobody gives a bleep about a 40° day. And I'm here to tell you, I do. I care about the 40° day because that's cold to me. Well, look, it's not cold to everybody on my way in. I saw somebody on one of those motorized bicycles that are really popular that people are purchasing and use it for transportation. I use it all the time. Homey had on. It actually yours is better. He had one, but you got one of them deluxe. You got like a bins. You know what I'm saying? You got like a Benz motorized bike. Then some people got the Camry, and I drive a camera, so I ain't knocking the Batmobile. And some people got a key into some people got the Ferrari. Some of them bikes go up to like 5, $10,000 for them bikes, but bro had on shorts, he had a hoodie on, but he had to sleeves rolled up and no hat and he was scooting down Ventura boulevard. So he's not cold. 48 mean nothing to him today. I looked at him. I said, this fool is out of his damn mind. It's brick for me. I'll speak for the electric bike motorized by community. Guy stay inside because you don't notice if you never wrote a motorcycle or electric light, but you ride up one of those painted lines in the middle of the road right now. Slippery. Now I tell you what was also slippery to Portland trailblazers, where stuck on the tarmac for 7 hours. Yeah. And did not travel to their gaming Sacramento as a result, Damian Lillard didn't release probably the best video at the NBA season so far, freestyling from the plane because with 7 hours on a flight, there's nothing else to do. Exactly. But they ended up not playing actually get to Sacramento. And what do you see? Damian Lillard not playing in the game. Load management. Load management is the car in the claim. And today there was a threat that went viral, Nate Jones, at Jones on the NBA. If you're interested in the timeline over there, Elon Musk is Twitter. That's where you can find it, but he essentially asserted that load management essentially he says is a mix between arguments with the players and arguments with the organization and that most of the time players are fighting to go. Players want to play and a lot of times it's the organization shutting guys down because he says every team I'm reading from his tweets now, every team has a medical tracking protocol on players when the alert system that is similar to the national terrorism alert system. If a player is close to that high alert zone, the entire org tries to get that player to sit. It's cultural across the entire league. Now, it's just interesting because when I saw the big story at the trade deadline, Gary Payton the 2nd may or may not have been playing with a tour doll shot. In order to go out and play. And I said it to you off the air. It's like, man, this really feels like much to do about nothing. If Gary Payton, the second said, yo, give me the tour door because I want to play. I mean, we hear that every Thursday, Sunday, and Monday, in the NFL. You don't have to listen long. I saw a clip earlier today of levar arrington plaxico burris and TJ's risotto on this very network talking about how they took the pills to play. They took the shots to play. Right. So in the NBA, apparently, that's a different cultural idea, but conceptually, when we see guys like LeBron or guys like Kevin Durant or whoever, the marquee star, right? The reason why guys are coming and we see them on the bench, I say over since 2020 14, 2015 and so we have looked at that and said, he doesn't want to play. This is an assertion that says something entirely differently. And I think it bears discussion for sure. I don't believe it, though. I'm not buying it. And I tell you why I'm not buying it because whoever's running the business is always going to make sure the narrative goes their way, whether it's pro sports, whether it's accounting, whether it's social marketing, whether it's the United States government of America. Whoever's running a business, they need the narrative to go their way some way somehow. Now, I'm not saying that some of these studies and some of these analytical

SI Boxing with Chris Mannix

"Multiple times in recent years. How do you think he let's assume for the fact that fury is not retired? And is going to take that fight one way or the other. How do you see that matchup? So I would still pick fury, but I'm with you that I can't count out a guy with Alexander usic skill level. You know, he's too he's too skilled, but he's also too complicated. And one of the things that I think played into this fight and every fight for Alexander usic. If you're preparing for him, what do you do? Okay, you fly in 8 southpaws as Anthony Joshua did. But how many of those southpaws could even do 20% of what Alexandra can do in the ring? How can you replicate this guy? So would I pick Tyson Fury? Yes, because the physical advantages are so massive and I think that he is also a lot more sure of his offense, both moving backwards and moving forwards than Anthony Joshua is, but what I definitively count out is no, because you just can't prepare for this guy. Obviously I fought Manny Pacquiao. And I always say that the hardest part of preparing for Pacquiao is preparing for Pacquiao because finding someone who's spars like Manny Pacquiao is impossible. He literally does everything wrong. He just makes it work. Oh, it's not that way. It does everything right. But no one does it in the way with the, I guess the word is the pizzazz, the way he does. I mean, he's doing everything right. He's doing everything textbook, but it's the way that he puts it together. It's the way the recipe works, that creates a masterpiece every time. I think I might have wrote in my story prior to the fight. I think the closest you could get to a facsimile of us is if you inflated a version of a silly lomachenko. That's the only guy in because of course they're under the same learning tree under lomachenko's father, except given power. Right, the only guy that would do the certain things, the way that usak does. There's just no one else that could replicate that or even come close. One thing fury will do in that fight is something Joshua is not really capable of doing and certainly doesn't do. And that's lean. Operates like a real heavyweight. He will lean that entire 6 foot 9, 275 pound frame on you, and he will SAP the strength out of you. That is how he will find a way to slow down Alex the news. Don't get me wrong, I want to see that fight. I'd love to see it undisputed champion, the heavyweight division. That's a dreadful fight. I'm sorry. It is a dreadful dreadful fight. We have just done 24 rounds of Joshua news. Those were largely dreadful rounds. They were like, except for the 9th round of this fight, those were any of the tenth minus took over. A couple rounds here or there, it was largely clinical. And that's how we seek fights. Like he's not going to go outside of his comfort zone. He's not going to become, you know, Derek Chisora, alpha sudden. He's going to fight the way he wants to fight. I disagree. I like these fights. I've really enjoyed using Joshua. I like technical high level boxes. I love that stuff, because there's so many nuances. And you're going to love fury. No, I'm not going to get very physical and fury does a lot of weird things in there. Like you said, leaning. I mean, what he did to wilder in that third by just being so fit or the second fight. So physical. I mean, to do that to a guy who's two 20 and not 6 foot 7 or 6 foot 8 or whatever. Is us going to have to jump to hit him in the head? 6 9 is no joke. You know what I find interesting about the possibility of furiosa is fury traditionally leading up to his fights. I think he either needs or likes to create an enemy. And there's nothing like adversarial at all about Alexander usyk. You know, a guy who's in the midst of war back home, who's a pretty jovial guy. What is the motivation for fury other than just boxing? And I don't know. Do I think that fury will fight again? Yes, but I think there needs to be a particular motivation for him. And I think it kind of needs to be a bit personal. I don't know that he has that with us now. Maybe after user said his name, maybe he can conjure this up, but right now I'm just not certain. That's actually a pretty common theme for fighters is creating an enemy, whether self perceived or made up or not. I know a lot of guys in the gym that when they're fighting a guy, a lot of times they attack the press. We hate you guys because it gives us a reason to be mad at something because we're mad at everything. And we have to fight. List of people that hate me is longer than this, I don't know, he goes around the door. I like a crisis. But a lot of fighters do that. That's a really, really good point, Corey. Jamal trial is my best friend. I don't know what you guys are talking. By the way, as we are recording this Tyson Fury, took to Instagram and said quote, I will annihilate both of them on the same night. Get your fucking checkbook out because the gypsy king is here to stay forever. Tyson Fury is back to water money. Well, first of all, it was a retired. Yes. No, I'm coming out and I'm fighting for free. No no, I want half a Billy to fight against Anthony Joshua or Alexander. He's a fighter man. With a new trainer with Isaac mowing steam there. That's his trainer. I wish I would have known this before I declared the winner of this fight like the true heavyweight champion on the air, but what are you supposed to do? How am I? Oh, come on. You've never believed this guy. Actually retired. It's going to happen. Probably late this year, early next year, defending where they do it. Eddie Hearn, I don't think is going to be involved in that fight because it's free and clear. Now, as a fighter. But top rank, Frank Warren, they'll get a deal done. Everything a bunch of money. I will get an undisputed heavyweight champ. Lastly, Anthony Joshua, 32 years old, coming off back to back losses, three losses, Chris in his last 5 fights. Where does he go from here? I think he has to rebuild. He's got to go back home on the local European British circuit. And get those wins back at his confidence back. And honestly, I don't think Tyson Fury fights out of the question. And it's a fight that is just very enticing. It's very enticing for a lot of reasons. I think it's a great fight. I think the fans are really love it. I think it will make a lot of money. I think he can get back to that relatively quickly if they match him up right and he can get a couple of good wins, especially knockouts under his belt in the next year or so. I agree. I don't think that the fury fight is out of the question at all. Because I think that that is big enough in stature where Joshua, if he beats fury, then suddenly he's a heavyweight champion again, right? Then maybe you run it back with us, you can do whatever. If it's not the fury fight, I don't see Joshua. If I had to predict, I don't think that Joshua will take just kind of tune up rebuilding fights. What I would see in listening to Anthony Joshua speaking a particularly in the build up to this fight, I see Anthony Joshua really starting that next chapter of his life. He's got a pile of money. I see him more meaningfully kind of leaning into his humanitarian efforts into athlete management. And I think that he'll spend some time with that and then once time passes, then he can market AJ is back, but I just, I don't see, with this roadblock at the top of the division that is usyk, I don't see him wanting to fight someone kind of beneath him. I think how he lost opened the door for a comeback. If he had been knocked out by yusuke, that would have been tough to come back from. But if he just gets out boxed by a pound for pound great, he said, look, I just could not box the guy. I'm not that level of fighter. I'm still great, but I'm not that level of pure boxer. I think the door is now open for that. And look, I do think fury no sick face off first. But Joshua, look, to Chris's point, you can go on that European circuit. You can fight fringy heavyweights two times and 6 months. Your arm now with this new disowned deal, it's a global day. It's going to pay you a lot of money. No matter who you fight, and you can go back to the UK and do that. And look, we know unboxing. You get two fights in a row, wins in a row. You're back. You're back into the mix. What have you done for me lately? That's boxing. Meanwhile, Deontay Wilder still out there. Yeah. Like delta wilder is going to fight in October, a fight he theoretically, if you still Deontay Wilder should win, he gets a win, maybe gets another win. All of a sudden, while there gets Joshua, is a massive fight in the UK, UK, or the U.S.. Maybe Joshua comes back to the U.S. and tries to find a way to avenge his last appearance on U.S. soil. It's funny to think about how little the heavyweight landscape will change with all of this. It's all going to be the same guys. Yeah. It's crazy. Last thing for you. Usic, Joshua mentioned this about usic and we talked a little bit Eddie here and I think said pound for pound number one. Corey is usic pound for pound number one after winning this fight. He's either number one or number two and I wouldn't disagree with you saying either usic or in a way who you go in a way at number one. Yeah, probably. How was that bud Crawford number one? But. I don't know. I don't know. In a way in usic to me, jump off the screen as special operators in a way, not but Crawford doesn't. But I think his relative inactivity has allowed for these two guys to be in my memory and to do it more and more and more often, right? Well, I mean, I think I have the November as long as this Crawford spends fights happens. That's going to change this all. You think Robert Spencer is going to happen. I am boxing fan first. First and foremost. City of weight in the wings. I got to get my paycheck. I have to think about it. It's like being number one. But I'm not sure about that. But being undisputed Cruiserweight, beating Tony bellew after bell you stop David hay and back to back fights. Moving up to heavyweight, beating just sore average fight, and then outboxing heavyweight champion over two fights. Top three at a minimum, probably top two on my list and then oh, you love in a way. Maybe I'll move my list in a way back up my list. Anyway, he's a bad way to destroy down there was mean. I called that fight live. I think there's such a good guy. I thought that's like two. And the moment that, you know what moment that jumps out at me, I think it was the maloney fight and it was on ESPN and ward and Bradley were on commentary. And he was so dazzling that Andre ward just couldn't think of anything to say. He kept repeating, it's a lot to deal with. It's a lot to deal with. And he was right. He was a good analysis in the moment. He's allowed to do it. Andre ward was like, I don't know what the fuck I'm watching right now. I've never seen anything like this. That will always stick in my mind. That's why I don't want to be dangerous. I don't want to see anyway against chocolate Tito. Somebody was talking about that the other day. Like, don't move up chuckle too. If you don't do the beat the strada dough, we'll up to one 18. I don't want to see you. No, I don't want to see that. In a metaphorical body bag out there. I've seen it once. I don't need to see it again. No, thank you. Chris algerie Corey wrote a great job on the zone broadcast tonight. Thanks for sticking around and joining me on the show.
