Because I don't want to lose the game because he's not ready, which sounds bad for Doherty, but I know what he means. So this is what they're going to be then. I mean, look, there will be games like the Leicester City game, but even that, I mean, it was hard to account for sun coming off the bench and scoring three and 14 minutes. But look, even under Mourinho, what was the stat I told you? They led all of Europe in goals because they were getting their until I think Bayern Munich kind of took that from them right near the end of the season, but they were over a hundred goals in all competitions. Crazy considering some of the direct that they played. They were hard to watch. But there's a little bit of that here too. It's a defensive, it's a defensive style. I'm not saying it's exactly the same as what you had under Marino, but you're going to feel some of those feelings when you watch them play. I guess I got too excited by the end of season games, like where they were dominated in the first half at Villa Park at the end of last season. And yet scored what four was it? I mean, they ran riot. But the counterattack was so scintillate. Lethal. And it could potentially continue to be so. And that's the thing about like, I didn't go too deep into what we were talking about their performance in the Champions League. But it finished nil nil. And a lot of the game was kind of, but like they did, they did generate chances. It was just one of those games where they weren't finishing them. And unfortunately, if you're going to play a style that doesn't necessarily generate an abundance of chances, you have to be able to finish the ones that you get. And you think, okay, well, Cain's son, Richardson, I'll throw in there. Like, they should be able to, but if Cain and son have an off game and sun by the way, has been off for every game of the season except Leicester City. It's going to be tough. You're going to have some tough games like that. Now the other thing I was going to say about this game, I've said this before again, this is not a slide on arsenal. This is not a slide on arsenal. When you do something like that, that's just so, so unnecessary. Where you are on the field, the direction in which I forget who it was for arsenal that had the ball. I should have, I should remember. But the direction in which they're going with it. There's no threat. Why? Why? Why? Why do players do these things? Presumably you've risen to this level, but you said that you said before, he's got that in him. You don't know what this guy's going to do. He does, but boy for it to rear its head in that moment and I understand a Northland and Darby emotions are high, maybe you're not thinking the way you're supposed to be, but like, I'm sorry, you just can't do it. And again, I think he was a little bit hard done for it to go to a straight red. He's going to miss three matches now because of it. And it effectively ended the game. They were taught and we're down two one when it happened, arsenal got one a few minutes after that. That finished them off. I just want to say because let's look at the arsenal side of things. You say, don't do stupid things, don't beat yourself. I actually gave away a penalty that in the past they would have crumbled from. Oh yeah. An completely unnecessary penalty. Gabrielle's challenge. There was no need for that, especially in the box. The guy was running into traffic. He was going nowhere. So I want to give arsenal some credit here, as well. I think arsenal played better than spurs. Definitely. In the game, I think it was another compose performance. And like I said, they didn't do the thing that they've done in the past where they where they get cut open like a soft cheese after a defensive mistake. That didn't happen. They rolled the sleeves of got back into the game, got ahead again. And I think the right carrot obviously had an influence on the match. But I think some of that, I mean, I watched that season of all or nothing. I think that mentality, I really think it starts with the manager. People can make fun of some of the stuff, but he's so upbeat. He instills so much faith in these places. I do not think they're just so constantly wanting to be on the front foot, but is this not just players, I mean yeah, they got good players too. Yeah, they have it. They have better players than they have last season and they're still from the collapse at the end of last season. They're probably more resolute in their mindset. Maybe you have to go through it to understand it and to get it, but that can break a team too. It can and it has broken arsenal in the past. That's why I'm saying this might this be a different Aristotle. No, it's October, and I'm not willing to say that they're going to win the championship yet.

You know, end of the day, when the season kicked off, I don't think people at Chelsea are thinking they're going to win the Premier League. Because they know they're behind city in particular. And right now, you don't know what you're getting from Chelsea from game to game. They're just so flat. It's just no spark. You are absolutely delighted because nothing about their football has suggested top half of the table, let alone top four. We've discussed the controversy with the west angle. That could have gone a different way and now all of a sudden if those two games are draws, you have a Chelsea sitting on 6th and that is far more realistic position for them. And or sitting on 6 points, I should see. And that's a far more realistic position in that their football has been that decidedly poor. I have sat here and been very critical of Leicester City and have said that they are in a relegation fight. That they are in real trouble. And they match Chelsea. But for that disallowed goal, we could be having a very different discussion about Chelsea and less than that's how poor Chelsea have been. Let's see where Mary has him in his predictions. I think he's best positioned coming off the left. And so when you were saying in a guy whose best position is coming off the left, guess what? So I think Christian and his advisers should have moved earlier. Right. It seems like they haven't, if they have them, I'm sorry, but these agents is easy to have haven't done a good job for him. Well, I'm wondering if that was his agent's talking about the stuff we saw a week or two ago about man united, which doesn't seem to have its head, and it was a bit of a head scratching as well at the time. Yeah, they could become caricatures. That's the danger, and also what do you do at Ranieri? Ranieri's an interesting football man, but to sell him as an entertaining character, is a little bit tougher because you can't Jerry West him and have him shots of him making love or drinking cans. In the Leicester City manager's office, launching trophies through plate glass windows. Some of the ones I was thinking about, like I wonder if there would be something interesting about watching the New York cosmos kind of do their thing. Oh yeah. With all those personalities. It's almost think of it as buying a share, but it's secured secured by blockchain technology. It's effectively it's non fungible. So you buy this token, which you can then sell, you can keep. It's not a share in the sense that you don't get voting rights on the club board. But to incentivize fans to buy these things, you can vote on certain things decided by the club. So for example, arsenal are a good example of this. I think they allow fans to vote 6 times a year and things. They might be things like, what music should the club come out to when they go on the pitch? Or which of these third or fourth strips do you like best? I mean, they're not gonna be like, you know, does these cost fortunes? Well, that's the thing. They don't cause very much initially. But the idea is that they can be traded that they go up and down. They said, I think right now there's a lot of people out there who don't understand crypto. And so they see this because it's so volatile. They see it as a scam, there's environmental concerns with Bitcoin mining, but this isn't Bitcoin. You know, blockchain and cryptocurrency are two different things. You can't educate yourself on this thing. Enough people at home a lot is. What is going on in my concerns would be sausages have spent an enormous amount of money on marketing and doing these deals, which obviously, you know, if you watched enter, the sponsor was inter, fan token, right? For me, I don't understand why you would buy this. Sausages say that you buy this because these clubs are global brands. If you're in another part of the world, and you want to feel part of it, other than watching the games on television and maybe buying a shirt online. This is another way you can do it. And you can vote uncertain things. My point is, unless you're a Muppet, if I'm voting on irrelevant things, why would I do it? People have raised a specter of what they call pump and dump schemes and speculation and manipulating the prices of these tokens to rip fans off. I don't think it's that. I don't think we're at that stage on the way. I've seen any evidence of it. It's new, I think this is the kind of thing that only works if people buy into it. I don't know. And sadly there owner, and I'm probably going to pronounce his name wrong Vishay. Sereda, Dan, proba he he has passed away as his helicopter leaving the stadium after their win after their draw the other night when up and came down not sure if there's a mechanical failure, but the helicopter crashed just one hundred yards or so a few hundred yards from the stadium itself after leaving from the center of the stadium. He has passed away him and four other. So sad news. They're they're very very upsetting and the soccer community in the English Premier League community, but our thoughts go out to his family and to the Leicester City community they suffered through this tragedy. We'll see what they do what the league does want. The team does to honor him a man from Thailand who who bought the team in two thousand and ten and again port a lot of money into the club made them relevant and made them champions. Which is the most incredible thing I've personally ever witness in the English Premier League. So his legacy will at least be known for that. Yeah. It's a very sad time in the world of sports.

The capitalist version is you can also sell him fishing equipment. You can sell him magazines fishing. You can send him about theme holidays and conferences, and it's a bit like that with red hat, which is the company that IBM is board at the key to its business is the Lennox operating system which has been around for a couple of decades now, and it's no fun source software, and it's free. It's basically being put together by volunteers. So the problem is with the with the software is that because it's being put together volunteers. There isn't really anything like a company you can ring up or help desk. If you've got problems with Lennon's so company like red hat comes in and says, well, we'll solve your problems with lenox. We'll we'll adapts it. If you need it be we can debunk it. We come come connect you to other computer systems, and so on so red hat makes a lot of money out of that. It's also into cloud computing as well now IBM is the deal is worth thirty four billion IBM's worth. About one hundred ten billion on the stock market. So this is quite a big deal in terms of expanding the size of IBM rather. It's quite a big big takeover that might take a bit of time to digest IBM gets access to an awful lot more technology services. And traditionally IBM was very very good at coming up with big computers and lots of software and selling them a rather renting them to people. And so in a way, this is actually going backwards to what the IBM was like thirty forty years ago. Very good at coming up with software, which you can sell services rented out in effect, pay subscriptions and get cash again. And again and again. Yes. So IBM kind of coming full circle. Thank you. Mr. VJ as was famously helped to put together a team which ton Waldron at one of the Premier League in two thousand sixteen at odds of five thousand to one at tell us more bottom and how he made his fortune that ended up in LeicesteR city's George McCloud who's a political risk consultant based in Bangkok. And you started his business is all right, George. Yes. That's correct. Now, would you would you say that he was immensely wealthy? He was he was a extremely wealthy businessman. His net worth was estimated at over three three billion US three point three billion. And speaking to my colleague Jonathan head not too long ago. He says that he wasn't that. Well known. In Thailand until he bought Leicester City. No, he was you know, he I I would say he was a figure of some controversy as well. He he he obtained a very lucrative duty free concession for Thailand's airports, which obviously did attract attention, but. His his acquiring of of the Leicester City football club sort of propelled him to to a new level, you know, locally as well, obviously internationally and what we've seen with other. Thai wealthy people. Not least should know what ended up in politics, but he stayed out into. Well, you know, formerly speaking he did. But behind the scenes, he's he's he's been incredibly active, politically, I'd say that that he stands apart in that sense. A lot of businessmen in Thailand try to deliberately steer clear of politics. He's been very active financing various sides of the political spectrum depending on I guess who's in power at the time. He's switched sides a number of times, then proved very dexterous at at navigating the difficult political system here, why Lester city of all the teams why did he pick it? Well, I mean for for one thing it was you know, it was an underdog team. And I think he set his sights on on, you know, wiping it into shape, which which he did very well. I mean, the shows a high level of sort of business acumen on his part and. It was very much a down de project. He he's as I say very wealthy, but he doesn't come from one of the legacy wealthy families here. And he was always struggling to gain acceptance in those circles, and I think acquiring that football club was partly intended for for that level of acceptance. So how will ties be reacting to his death? Well, there's obviously shock over this grief over this because he is possibly, you know, the the only figure in this country that's managed to internationalize himself to that degree. But you know, of course, I don't think people are in the under any illusions that they that he has been a figure of controversy as well. Good to talk to you.
