"Thank you, Doc. All right, there we go 22 minutes before the hour. Explosive segment last night, very provocative. What conversation? On Fox News. Leo Terrell, Civil rights lawyer boy was he fired up after Biden's remarks. And you know, and just reading here. We look at these two big huge stories this week. Huge doors. Going for the NRA. And these comments, the Joe Biden made the town Hall describes his absolute racist comments. Doubling down on his racist comments about all blacks being the same. Um Here's Leo Terrell. Fascinating response. After after Biden's remarks received such an enormous backlash that even ABC News carried the whole story and its first block last night. Dearest civil rights lawyer Leo Terrell last night on Fox News, Joe Joe Biden is unfit to be president. And Joe Biden is a racist. Joe Biden has the mindset of a plantation owner. He thinks he knows how every black person thinks what we have. We walked what we should eat. Joe Biden doesn't understand that black people are individual Condoleeza Rice. And Al Sharpton are different individual. We have a different mindset. What the Democrats will do is they'll rolled out Jim Kleinberg and you say it's OK. Jin Kleinberg doesn't speak for me or Larry or Black America. No one black person speaks for Black America and CNN, MSNBC. They wouldn't cover this today. Donald Trump is absolutely right. Joe Biden insulted every black American today and he should not be president. He is the racist. What is so amazing to me is that they're going to put this guy out in front and said he's not the only reason why he is giving a path that he has a D in front. His name, not R. Republicans are the people who believe in the colorblind society Democrats with ones who believe in identity and race politics. It. It is very important that you seize this moment and recognize the political bombshell that this has been at a time when Biden's lead is dropping. His lead over Trump is dropping. At a time when God willing, Corona virus will start to Dissipate Go down. The numbers will go down at a time when black Americans have to make a big decision. Ah, lot of a lot of analysis involves believing. That the key to the 20 to the November 3rd election is the black vote is Black Americans voting And it does come down to kind of a record. A track record of eight years of Obama. Biden that did not Introduced criminal justice reform that didn't have opportunity zones that didn't fund historically black colleges that didn't do that didn't drive down unemployment to a historic low. Leo Leo pointed out last night about the record of Donald Trump up against the record of Obama. Biden. Here's what he said. Color? No, Obama did more because he's a Democrat. Wrong. President Trump has Dunmore for black Americans than any president. In the In my opinion, the last 50 years and my opinion is that Obama and buying believe that they are entitled to be considered a better candidate or a better president. Because they're Democrats. That is a false analogy. One final point with I'm a trial lawyer for last 30 years, with all the evidence you have played in front of your viewers about Joe Biden racist path, I could try Joe Biden in a courtroom and convict him of being a racist. 18 minutes before the hour. Let's get your reaction to all of it. Because this news is enormous. It is. I just did a little sampling. Because this morning I was like, Wait a minute is this this is biggest. I think it is right. Everybody on my team, Mike, It's huge. This is a big, big watershed moment of this crazy, wild, unpredictable 2020 political year. Here's Rick. Rick, You're on the Mike Gallagher show. How are you? Mike. How you doing? Good. Thanks. Appreciate your call. Uh, I'm all of different subjects. That's alright, That's okay. I heard. Ah, CBS News reported yesterday. Professor Allan Lichtman, history professor at American University. It's pretty and I don't I don't know where you're going from on the Is that the guy that I'm sure you've heard about the guy that that has never predicted that he's got all the predictions right in all these years? Rick Hello. Yes, Rick is gone. Okay, 806 55 Mike. Sorry about that. Carol Europe had Carol Good. Good to talk to you. I love your show. My thing is after what Biden said yesterday about the blacks. How can he possibly pick Ah black woman for his spice president? He's gonna happen He's gonna have to He has me. How's it gonna handle that after his remarks yesterday? That's why But that's why a lot of the analysis that I saw last night said. Now a black woman is a foregone conclusion. He cannot possibly afford not to pick a woman of color. Now there's no way I would want to know who would want to be with him after that remark? Well, it's a good question, because, frankly, when even ABC and this to me was pretty stunning when ABC reports on the backlash And and the mess that he has created with this report. You know it's a big deal. Normally, the mainstream media Avoids it ignores him. I want you here. This report from ABC. I can't play this enough because I was. I got to give credit where credit is due that vaguely they covered it. Even ABC knows what a big deal this is. Out of the race for 2020 Joe Biden facing backlash for appearing to suggest most African Americans are uniform in their views. President Trump seizing on that comment, turning into a new attack. Abiding campaign Responding late today, Here's ABC is Mary Bruce. It was a chance for Joe Biden to further his ties with the black and Hispanic communities. But in a discussion over immigration, the former vice president seemed to suggest the black community lacks diversity of thought. What you all know, but most people don't know..

"Her boyfriend was at the time. My gas the gig about models and who likes to date models would be Leonardo DiCaprio. It's Leo Leo. You are one hundred percent correct. I'm not saying he has bad taste. A models I'm just saying. He prefers a model. Leo Dicaprio, so, she was live with Leo. That's why she didn't pay your taxes. That's a great excuse. ME I. Am I forget to to be fair? It's a pretty good excuse like I might lose track of time and money if I was living Leo. This actually all makes sense that. Off Elliot's getting community service and her mother is getting jail time because I. I can't begin to count the number of adults who said to me. They've asked me a question about taxes or said something and I've asked them something in response and they're like. Oh, I don't know my dad does my taxes, or my mom does my taxes. You know yeah, I get that, too. Yeah with friends like their parents do their taxes, and that's totally fine, but it would. It would explain why this problem could have taken place because if you're trusting someone else to do your paperwork correctly. And they're not, it could slip under the radar. There will be a lot of times in your life where things get lost for example. I tried to vote and tried to do it by mail. My forms got lost. Still don't have them. You will call your healthcare provider and they will lose forms. You will go.

"Backed by Ford learn more at on the craft auto parts dot com all right let's go over here and talk to Leo Leo you're on the under the hood show what can we do for you our groovy album is good to hear from you guys thank you yeah I don't think he's a great explanation it is yeah for yes it is yes I have a hole in one I already like you what you got twenty eighteen Silverado four wheel drive tire sensors are are going out already yeah I can't believe this that shouldn't happen and then we don't I we get a lot of those come through yes that's the same set up in that truck basically from two thousand and fourteen one hundred front St it didn't go out yours out yet what is it doing what he got because I've I've got the experience here it goes dead so give your yeah the light stays on the dash it makes me wonder if there's something else going on with that system because those the battery life the sensor life in most vehicles is going to be seven years ten years we see we're talking about the T. PMS you P. M. S. sensor batteries and right you know it may be an early death of one at five years sometimes right Russ would it say Eckels got a hundred and eighty thousand on it yeah yes they turn off when it stopped moving things out of the miles on it yeah that there's something irregular there completely and you're still under warranty just I don't pay for it giving you should be under a three year thirty six on that if the truck hasn't been right yes but I don't honor their systems okay I just pay for one and a half when it happens yeah they think they should be paying for that for you for free I would sure think so also roses or yeah I would bring it to the to your franchise dealer and they should be able look up that vin number the computer if you had paid for those services I would think you may be able to get reimbursed they should be if you're still under warranty because that would be part of the bumper to bumper warranty unless there's something else does this have on just gonna ask a couple questions phone dropped a lot of him yeah here's the questions I would want to know and just for others listening is this all the factory wheel and tyre combination is right have they have they put an aftermarket wheel and tyre combination on it that may be used a different sensor that would be a stopping point where the manufactured say nope this isn't our problem many times what people do most of the time what people do is they dismount the front of the tire they steal the sensor out of it they put into their aftermarket ram so it's so it's still using the factory TPM S. sensor and then that system is it's it's it's factory for all intensive purposes it's still the factory system even though it may not be correctly calibrated right and so well and here's a here's a quick tip to that is our partner road ready wheels so this follows along exactly what Shannon sand a lot of these aftermarket wheels you bye and not a lot of the sun there is a number of whom we've seen they won't fit the factory sensor so what we said before near stalked the beginning of the show were state road ready wheels they fit everything because original that's why they're they're made to fit the certainly just like factory so this aftermarket wheels this gentleman bought a truck and they put on some custom aftermarket wheels I don't think they did in this case he just but that doesn't sell he's but now they don't want fives on is some of those aftermarket sensors just don't work you know they just they just don't fit the we also hope that that would be one of my first questions but otherwise I'll be bringing it back in because to have multiple failures there is something else wrong with like the module yes it may not be it I can't see that four separate tire sensors you have more than one fail Russ if you're gonna speculate which module then would be involved in that problem that's the same one that this the wireless control interface which does your your door locks were like your key fob everything that's wireless coming in and I was going through that so it it could have an issue and that it might just be a programming issue and maybe they're just losing programming and they need to update software in their model and then reset the tire monitors for someone is dropping some tax in his path and he really has a lot of the tires they could actually get if he didn't know I would notice that I think they enjoy maybe that's it because I I've seen where a customer comes in to us and they tell us Hey Russ you know my lights on again for the I just had this tire monitor like thing fixed a week ago and we look at it we say hell yeah your beads leaking again or you've got a nail in it we fix it and we say tire light was on in the description we repaired it by taking the tire part checking it patch on the tire put it back together but a lot of these people thought they were getting a sensor replaced and they weren't they were just getting a tire fixed a lot of people it's like some people have accidents over and over and over you so you know I'm thinking it might be you so I think I've been married twenty two times it could be you I've had ten flat tires here's could you think what are you driving well but I like to ride the edge of the road but just listening to Leo and and and here nearly all I I think you've got something else going on because I mean I guess you don't have aftermarket wheels I'm gonna guess you're very conscious about your air pressure I I think in this is the cleanest truck I've ever seen in my life if we thought the groovy he calls back and says no I've twenty sevens in there I've spinner rims on it that would be awesome let's talk to later in the under the hood show what can we do for Hey guys you doing good how bout you yeah yes sign hello I got a two thousand four Buick Park Avenue ultra with the sun roof now this doesn't happen all the time but sometimes when I go outside to start the car after the cars running the sun roof open automatically opens up about five inches and then shuts off I reach up though close it and it will not close but it will retract back to full open position and then still won't close night what I do is what you're doing great in the winter time if you got two inches of snow Arnett also holes inside your car anyway what I gotta do to get the dumb thing closes I gotta shut the car off to get out of the car use the phone Bob R. my T. five I mean lock the car wait a little bit unlocked the car give back in it the men's start the car up then I can reach up and then I can close the sun roof now do I have a body control module gone bad or do I have a battery problem or a power problem or ground problem I'm thinkin that had a problem that is that is does the opening on your head Maria my problem is I got two feet of water in the car and I'm trying to figure out to test it one of the first things I would do if this came in because I'd be thinking well if it only does it down in one of my to do I'm gonna see if it's closed I'm gonna get in there and I'm gonna unplug this with someone take it apart unplug the switch for the sun roof completely and drive it and if it doesn't occur again I'm probably gonna start off the switch because what you're describing sounds like one of the contacts is making a little bit of contact and allowing it to move it'll only go about five inches when you first push it then you've got a stop and push again to do the full extension but if you push it and hold it it'll still only go that five inches in state now you shut off the key it's going to move again but if it's stuck in that open position it will not close it's not going to allow it to go the other way you can't push one of passengers pushing the down button on the window and you're pushing up and nothing happens and you're like you're locked out never done that no that never happens to me well something very sinister when used to set off a lot quick lock it before they get in the mail most most don't mess with us what we want we want this yeah yeah all right so I I'm plug that and see what happens and then if it is fine it never opens by itself you can easily unplug that's what Chris would do what I would do I would probably a switch and give a shot you need to pick those up you pull it yards and things like that at that age I would say that do you do a lot of stargazing and sun worshipping or not no not really I would get it closed an unplugged do you ever ever undo the bow tie on your tuxedo and stick your head out the top and drive around after winning a major award yeah okay trilby hunter okay I don't plug once it's close just disabled right yeah the movie is there a different way to do can you is there a fuse that's just for that or anything I think the songs years on that is also the power window views because when you say pull the plug I picture myself thinking all I can get at it and the next thing I know the headliners down and I've got I think you can point your just this switch panel and get added to the right front there the top front I believe so I'm from thinking in my mind how that's put together I think you can get access to it and if if worst case scenario so that you do have to pull the sun visors off in the drop the front part of the headliner you can get at the the mechanism that's where I get nervous I headliners thanks be nervous you should it's there never go back in the same right I'm convinced you can never get ahead later back in the same I've just never been good at it Larry good luck on your Oscar campaign to end just by the way producer Doug on the break grab the not even the break in tele beam was right okay he Google that well we were just to confirm so Jack cannon I'm.
Eadweard Muybridge, the Man Who Captured Time
"Edward Mobridge was born in eighteen thirty and kingston upon teams in England. His birth name was Edward Muggeridge but as he marched through the circumstances dances life he would change his name many times. Such a thing was pretty uncommon in the eighteen hundreds but he was pretty uncommon man. His hometown town was the historical site of coronations where the early British kings were crowned and ceremony and the earliest of. These monarchs were Saxons and perhaps inspired by that the young man would change his name to Mobridge and adopt the old spelling of his first name. Edward The vowel heavy spelling E. A. D. w. e. a. a- are D-. It looks like eat weird but sounds like Edward seeking adventure. He left for America at the age of twenty two telling his grandmother that if he didn't succeed and the lofty goals he had for his own life. He'd never retired. He arrived in New York with a bunch of extra bells and his name and little else he. He worked there for a bit but was thirsty for more. So he left for California soon after it was eighteen fifty-five during the gold rush when scores of people headed west to mind for the valuable metal. He sought his fortune through other means. Though he opened a bookstore in San Francisco the city was growing in the people had money need to spend by most accounts he was mild mannered and his business was pretty successful in the bustling city in eighteen. Sixty he made plans to head back to Europe for. We're a visit and to do some business. But he missed the boat so instead he booked passage on a Coniston goggin across the American continent to head head back east and from there he would sail to his native England. Kind of still go. aggies were the common covered wagon that you see all of the images of westward travel. It was was a fateful trip and the first time that a horse would fundamentally alter his life. These wagons were pulled by horses. The one carrying Mobridge was pulled by a team of six six mustangs but somewhere in Texas the horses pulling his wagon broke loose and started off leaving the wagon cascading on a high narrow trail above Iraqi fall. The driver couldn't get control and the WAGGON tumbled loaded with passengers and their belongings thinking quickly as the accident that was unfolding. Edward tried to cut an escape hole in the wagons cover but in the commotion he was thrown from the vehicle and hit his head on a rock. During the fall he recovered from the head injury in Arkansas. For three months though he had no recollection of the accident. One of the other passengers had to tell oh him what had happened. In addition to some memory problems he now saw everything in a disorienting. Double Vision Edward also displayed definite personality. Finality changes it was a brain injury. And as you might guess these can have a great impact on a person in his case. The injuries came with aggressive episodes. Grandiose thinking and general unusual behavior the people who had known him before noticed a distinct difference in his personality. After recuperating more New York he headed back to England where he stayed for several years when he returned to America in eighteen sixty seven. He considered himself photographer having learned a lot about the new art form and he had acquired some very nice equipment which he had brought with him. It was still a developing art. In fact the I photograph in history was made in France just four years before Edward was even born. By the time he was working eighteen sixties. The technology was still very limited mid and far from the powerful cameras that we carry in our pockets every day. Edwards equipment filled an entire horse cart in addition to the new career as a photographer he also sported an enormous beard and he called himself by a host of new names including Helius. This was not not the same old Edward. His photography made an impact on the world. He had a definite fascination with stopping time. Just a few years after a man named Matthew Brady Changed America by photographing not just the people of the civil war. But the battle scenes and carnage mobridge was documenting in beautiful detail. Some of America's because most amazing and mysterious natural sites. If you've never been to Yosemite Valley you still probably heard about it's staggering beauty. This led to it being being among the first of the land to be designated as national parks but before it welcomed hordes of tourists to gaze at its beauty weighbridge made some of the first and certainly some of the best photographs of the amazing land. Some of them are so amazing. They look like epic landscape paintings soon. Everyone wanted a piece of Edward. Helius Komo Abridge the same year. He came back to America. The Secretary of State William seward negotiated a deal to buy Alaska Lasca from the Russian Empire. But for years this was called seward's icebox or seward's folly because most people thought it was a costly mistake to buy the enormous swath of northern land in an effort to convince people of its value. The government hired Mobridge to join an expedition travel with his immense. It's photo equipment and a darkroom and photograph the Land Resources and native people of the territory. They are some of the most important documents we have of that time time period still today but it was back in California that his fame truly solidified and it was largely. Thanks to a man who would give his name to Stanford University his name was Leland Stanford and he had a problem he was a robber Baron and oh this was a problem for a lot of other people. This wasn't a problem as so called robber. Baron he like several other industrialised of the late eighteen. Hundreds was rich and powerful but he had gotten that way through some pretty shady and morally questionable ways used political influence and connections to get rich not to mention taking advantage of many less fortunate people he had been the governor head of the railroad a Horse Breeder and he owned what was at the time the largest winery in the world on his gigantic estate. He raised eight hundred racehorses. Feeding these horses alone wasn't expensive task in order to do so. He also operated a a sixty acre carrot farm just for food so you may ask yourself what does a guy like this. Have to worry about Mr Muggeridge. I I have a problem. That's not my name. Mr Mobridge have rows riot again. I have gone long again call me. He Leo's Leo's that's right heels as in the ancient Greek personification of the sun being okay. Okay Helius so I have this theory and it's more than a hunch but I just can't prove it and I may or may not have bet money on it so I I need an answer. So how can he LEO's help. Well he'll ios this concerned horses. You see I believe when a horse runs at some point in its stride dried all four of its speed are above the ground so at some point the horse has touching absolutely nothing yet still moving forward but it happened so quickly that I can't be certain. Do you understand yeah. He Leo's digs that. You want me to prove it with Pictures Helius. I'd like that very much which it's going to cost you. Some money got plenty. Don't worry. Coup crackle added now it was actually a pretty common disagreement of the time and Leland with his stable full of horses and pockets. Full of cash was in a unique position to solve it he just needed. Someone like mobridge invest best craziest and most creative photographer in the public eye to solve technical issues when a horse ran. was there ever a moment when all four of its feet were off of the ground many people believed it could not possibly be true. The first tries to capture the airborne image. Each were failures. It was impossible with the cameras of the day to catch the fast horse. At just the right time the beast was just a blur so they went back to the drawing board. The project was derailed by mobridge being the defendant in a murder case which is another story entirely but once that was over they got back to work. More bridge hung white sheets up along the race track. And whiten the track itself with chalk powder this would reflect any an all light which he knew would help. The camera. Camera capture a clear image of the fast horse next. He designed a camera with quick shutter speed. It may have been the first of its kind as most cameras needed a long Exposure to whatever was being photographed people would have to sit still early photographs. So that they didn't show up as a blur that would not work with a galloping horse.
UK Labour Party to Begin Contest to Succeed Corbyn as Leader
"The starting gun was probably fired this weekend in the race to become the next leader of Britain's main opposition Labor party it has already become a crowded field with each candidate trying to offer a clean break with the past yet unwilling to upset the Labor hardcore. He seems to be the only people he wanted to vote for them. In last month's general election Who wants to begin? I I let me start with you. Whoever takes over from Jeremy Corbyn does so from a position of absolute rock? Bottom for the party. Don't don't they let let's sort of set the scene I well. Let's hope so From their point of view that it's rock bottom because sinking further would not be a good thing and that's the spirit I think. Yes I mean. Obviously the last election was a disaster. I mean particularly I think a lot of the figures that came out made it pretty clear that in fact the Tory vote hadn't uneven increased that much it was more that the Labor voted collapsed. There was a very big problem for the neighbor policy. And I think a lot of that looking at the polling was to do with Jeremy Corbyn personally there was so say Brexit was a big issue for them But I think overwhelmingly it was coming out in the polls the person she with him say almost anybody who replaces aces him is kind of starting with the level of improvement there and in a sense brexit policy now moves into different states because of course we know Brexit is going to happen on the thirty first of January. And then there's a we're going to move into negotiation stage on withdraw and all of that now that kind of changes the mechanics of that for Labour leader. They can't anymore. There's not much political to revoke cool. Remain or anything like that or they just Phillips did talk yesterday about rejoin as a future possibility But I think really it changes the mechanics. It's about them talking. Just opposing do want this posted as an opposition government opposing what the Conservatives are doing so. We're probably going to hear it. Also talk about you know Brexit is going wrongly their mishandling it etc so we have the runners and writers stepping up Mary ranging from Remain human rights lawyer. Who is a shadow? A shadow secretary He campaigned hard for a second referendum. To someone who wants to think about rejoining to cookie cookie cutter copies but in the female email form of the Jeremy Corbyn style which went down so badly with the voters. Well I think we have to look really whether it did go down so well so badly with the voters because on the one hand yes. There appears to have been an antipathy towards Jeremy Corbyn personally but when you look at the demographic of the Labor Party vote what you see is actually quite a big enthusiasm if not for Corbin personally then for his policies very left wing very old-fashioned socialist policies of nationalization subsidies all sorts of things that we haven't seen in for decades they were very popular with a generation who were in there in the earliest stages of their youth during the financial crisis. And I think this this battle as it were for the soul of the Labor Party. It's not over yet And we're looking at the moment almost only half of it in terms of the candidates who have declared so far who want to be leader. Because we're looking at center center Yes cure storm to the left. But this the there's a big gap there And we have to ask whether this is whether whether the the old style Blair. It's do they exist anymore. They certainly don't exist very much in the parliamentary party as it was elected elected at the At the last election. But where is somebody. For instance like Yvette Cooper. Where is the where the noise is coming from? Somebody who's been incredibly vocal on the sidelines from his privileged perch in New York David milliband where where people who can influence that wing of the party. We haven't heard from them yet. Does that mean that that's over. The Labor is actually varying not exactly to Corbin awesome but that is sort of more the shape of the future then Blairism or any of them up to it Mary. Well I mean. I saw some comments yesterday which was the first day really. Really of sort of Campaigning on Sunday. Talk shows where the was some comment among sort of professional political pundits. Who said actually this could shape up to be quite a sort of a thoughtful election representing a lot of different currents in the Labor abor party But of course that has its plusses and minuses. We saw during the Tory party leadership. Election there again. You had some very different prince strands and what you've come at. What you've come out with is Boris Johnson and the right as far as Brexit is concerned? But maybe not as far I things consent feather appear to be two enormous jobs here. Alex which I is the the idea of rebuilding shattered party which does does not have a unified core. And secondly won't you have rebuild shattered party. You have to be strong enough to take on the Conservatives and not only beat them but beat them so much that you bring back. All the voters deserted them for the Conservatives in the last election in that is a double task of of huge huge proportions and bring about more than the ones who deserted them because remember Labor already were in a minority so actually doing back even more than their deserted voters says and and in specific places it is a tremendous task and it's always been difficult for Labor in the last few years particularly. There are huge divides in their own. Vote Their their membership is actually overwhelmingly remain But of course in those northern seats they lost Brexit was a problem for them because a lot of Labor members in those seats are are actually much more leave so these people want something very different than how united policy that is so split on. Those different issues is a tremendous challenge. I think mirror some actually quite promising candidates but it will be very interesting to see where it goes at the moment the polls have Kissed her in the lead And I mean you know it will be interesting you see. Of course everything can be shaken up during the campaign. Go and tell me who you are promising. Candidates his Co. your is it possible leader. Well do you think kissed has a certain competence to him actually I think it's interesting to see some younger people from the left of the party. Stepping up people like Clive Lewis I would say just phillips as a slightly more centrist candidate who who is reasonably credible And you know they're all these different voices coming up. Who are quite interesting and it will be a big choice flavor which those they go for Os? I think Angela. Rayner is very promising. Who I think is standing for deputy leader From the kind of soft mid left of the party is like find degrees between centralism. Gobert is that they have Mary would what are your thoughts on on what Alex just said. I mean the mentioning of a storm is seen as the leader at the moment the leading candidate despite the fact that he is called Sir. He is absolutely very very keen to storch stress the fact that he has very humble working class backgrounds his mother was a nurse and he just happens to have done the right thing. Some are suggesting that he's the right leader. But I the four years to Leo Leo few years too late Yes. I think there is some truth in that And I don't think it's just the Sir that his kissed Armas Problem I think think he would be seen by as it were younger. Newer members of the Labor Party who joined because of Corbin He will be seen as the establishment candidate and somebody that they they will not support You know it's been it's been said ever since Labor's loss in in the election that They've got not just this huge task to unite the party. But do they will uniting leader. Actually come from the London establishment. This is the this is what kissed on represents percents. I don't know if you're a woman over forty. Five apparently secure has rather something delicious about in this Christmas dinners. But you know if you're not a AH London metropolitan women over forty five. He might not be your bag but just looking at where the next leading light could come from Alex it when I look at the way that the United Kingdom is at the moment reminds me of France about three or four years ago when the Socialists collapsed and the main political structure just didn't it didn't seem to know what to do and and then suddenly Emmanuel macron comes in with almost a brand new party a brand new voice and a bit of razzle-dazzle to boot they. They sort of tried this in the United Kingdom last year with a I can't even remember change. Could change something lasted about ten minutes. But it was one of those little flag-waving flagwaving harassing come on. Let's have a breaking the mold. Oh we is the United Kingdom so stuck in a moment here that it contacting make space for foot for newness and change that that way. I think there's a tremendous problem with the current setup half the effective two party system which had the Lib Dem's done better? We might not be talking about tea fussy system but we really are now because because they didn't break through and as Fayez Change. UK The Independent group all of these various sorts of incarnations of of trying this kind of mass challenge absolutely kind of founded and just did not take flight tool But there is a problem in that we have a social system which is a is a funny compromise permits anyway and that we have a system that was designed refused to vote for an individual. MP I mean actually policy names weren't even on the ballot paper until the night at the end of the nineteen sixties. You just had to vote for your your local. MP and you have to find out who they were vote for the candidate you like so now. We have quite strong party affiliations. Everything is very whipped. All of that and those names are on the ballot paper and yet we're we're still voting for the individuals so there's a sort of complicated compromise I think going on in terms of what you want what you should vote. And they're sort of how we got a party. She system grafted on to a kind of individual constituency. first-past-the-post system and I think that is bringing up these events contradictions and great difficulties for actually eighty four. Both big parties going forward. I mean you know the Conservatives also have a problem demographically in the future and that they're under fifty The fifties actually the majority labor in most cohorts now which is much more extreme? It used to be so as they're kind of older more brexit voters pulse on and They how are they going to speak to younger. Generation who don't own homes don't have job security don't have pensions and therefore so traditional conservative values. This don't necessarily speak to them and it's going to be for them. I think there's another question about why the UK can't produce contact figure. which is that? We don't have a presidential the system And even though this past election was fought I would say on much. More presidential style lines. The was corbin versus versus says Boris Johnson Nonetheless To campaign in a presidential election where people have direct votes for individuals then an individual candidate can make that sort of mark between parties or different from parties setting themselves above those structures. We don't have that possibility ability.

"Four two four four six five nine thousand three four two four four six five nine thousand three. We got so many calls last week where people I think I terrified them last week because I was telling them how if they don't have a plan. The government has a plan for them. And they were shocked to hear that something like that could happen where a total stranger can come into your life and decide for you. How your stuff is divided? Now, I have to tell you guys a scary story that happened to me this week. I was traveling to Miami for a TV show. And I was on the flight, and we didn't take off on time because one of the. Engines on and they said, okay, no one get off the plane. We're going to have the mechanic come and take a look at the engine and see what's going on. Because he didn't turn on. I am not a flyer that gets scared. But I was so scared. I was like this is this is how I'm going to go out. This is how I'm gonna go out. They're not going to really fix this engine plane gonna crash. So what I did is. I texted my mom, and I'm like, listen the planes taking off the engines turning on keep these text messages as evidence. So that if you need to sue the line there is a problem with flight three one five going to Miami. She was laughing at me. But yeah, we have those moments where. Ooh, our life flashes before is. And I mean, I know I was being so dramatic, and Leo fashion. I'm a Leo Leo birthday us Leo's are really really really dramatic. And I know I was being dramatic. But that's fine. But things like that happen to us all the time. We get into a car accident. We get sick. You don't know how many calls this week where people had just gotten diagnosed with a terminal illness. And they were scared, and they were they were they didn't know where to start on how to protect themselves, and they wanted to make sure that they would avoid probate court. So I'm really happy that we're back on the air, and we're helping people and were allowing them to get the information that they need without having to pay an attorney hundreds and thousands of dollars. So for some of you that don't know, I am an attorney..
Marriott's Starwood hack hits up to 500 million customers
"The gold medal goes to Yahoo for three billion breaches silver. And bronze shared by who. And now Marriott for half. A billion Starwood guests records, including some cases, credit card numbers, passports, actually, pretty bad too. I think I would think you know, what that to leak out to you. You get two silvers for a tie. Thank you Declan. There is no Prins awarded. We just have a gold and two silver. So in this particular competition Yahoo wins both the gold and the silver and Mariette just gets the silver. Somebody saying don't forget the equifax breach. Oh, that's nothing compared to this. Although what was breached and equifax was much more secure, you know, serious information because it was your entire credit card data, but that was one hundred fifty million people at nothing that's small potatoes at nothing compared to half a billion. Has nothing. That's barely a breach. Eight ask Leo that's the phone number. We're going to actually talk about travelling bit. Johnny jet is queued up our travel guru. I bet he has a Starwood preferred guest group number, but he does I think I do if I could remember the password. Oh, I know. I could just ask Aker he'll know. And we'll take more of your calls. I've never met anybody that feels like that they he's treated them wrongly or or not done something not something for them. So that says more about somebody anything else nothing. I agree. I mean, he's he's been so good to me for a long long time. And I just admire him. I'd Meyer him so much few more. And I'll get you out of here. You've already given me too much. Time per she ate it not. Whereas you one thing that I've admired about you is you've never had any qualms stand your ground in the garage. You've never had qualms taking responsibility. When something was on you, and that's unique evolution when you get to the top level. It's intense as hail people that don't know NASCAR. They see cars going around in circles. They don't know what's going on out there for real. It's a very intense environment and a very competitive environment and winning very difficult. And so when somebody when when a driver feels like he's sums been taken from him unjustly. It gets thick and you never had any qualms. What is the evolution into doing that when you deem it necessary? Well, I think you know, the big thing is is control with you could control. And I think thing is it that you can show the things that are in your hands. If you mess that up than I think. Ever, right. They mad at yourself. But if something happens that is outside your hands, depending upon how happen sure. Yeah. I think you have to stand your ground like anything else. I mean anything in life. I don't care what you do. But are whatever your job is. If if you're you. I'm sure if you've into people they're going to take advantage of, you know, by by twist in year twist near your questions, or whatever you see it in the media all the time. And you also see the other way around also the people in the may take advantage of of people that don't know how to answer questions or don't ask you questions the right way as well. But certainly on the racetrack and any other sport or or whatever. Yeah. You you you fold too many times and somebody or everyone is watching that not not just the person that's impacting their, but everyone sees how you react to things amongst your competitors. And they're going to treat you. A certain way based off of what they see and you, and then that's just the facts if people label you as ex, and that's how they treat you from there on so until. Until you do something that, you know, do something different or proven wrong than that's what it's going to be so. Yeah. Feel like they're going to be times where you gotta stand up and say, this is how it's going to be and you're gonna like it or you don't really carried away. And and that's kind of the attitude. I think everybody has to have especially in an environment like racing you have to be kinda selfish. I hate to say that that you do feel win. Nice people. Don't win all the time. And that's just the way it goes. So you have to you have to step up and do your thing case. Like, my old man used to say man, don't start any of them finish them. All that's right. A Leo Leo. Sage my old man was he was the best took you awhile to win as we said earlier. And for those of you guys who may not follow NASCAR chases career. His first win came this summer at Watkins, Glen international. What was the impact of that moment? The lot of relief. I think in and I don't necessarily wanna. I wanna say it was you know, a a burden off of me. But I think just a lot of relief and in knowing that, you know, the the fundamentals and the things that I started racing with and had success with and short Chakri thing, and you know, had success with and the series and so on that that stuff still works. And and that what I believe in and how car drive is good enough to win. And that my ability is is able to go and achieve that..

And where this. Woman was telling. Me that and I'll I'll either accept or reject any wants theory that it was a good shooting, and people in Good Decision.
