"Who's fact checking I accidentally said my leftover had been removed on Instagram because I was still little out of it from the Lena Dunham nerds. Really? You know what? Ovary uterus cervix, which is technically not an Oregon, but I do love talking about it, because it means I don't need Pap smears anymore. It's cool. Now. I don't know how cool, it's cool. But I imagine it's cool. It's cool. When you tell your girlfriend, so. Ooh. Lucky Duva leftover and I do have lung. When I do. But you and I think it was the universe that you, you mentioned the doctor said, oh my God. That's the worst. I've ever seen. So told me it was a real real Saka crap. But end it was interesting because women are so I talk about this, a lot, I like won't shut up about this, and they're definitely people. I mean I don't really look at my Instagram comments anymore, but when I do they're definitely people who are like we get it. You had. But people are starving. But how do you reconcile that? I mean, what would that speaks to a larger thing to you? Are you share a lot? I mean it's safe to say that you live in a very public, how do you then? How do you deal with that? How do you separate? Because I don't know something I've realized in the last year specifically is like if you're a pursue likes to share. And if your personal X to live in an open way, you also have to surround yourself, not necessarily people who are like that people who accept that about you. I mean, I've definitely been in relationships and friendships were where people kind of thought like why do you have to do this? Like they treat it more like a compulsion. And I try to explain like the sexually my work. This is what I do. This is the way that I express myself. I don't know you that. Well, and when we were texting you texted, you text, you texted photo of yourself, gynecologist office, which is not I'm not saying anything out of turn like it stuff that you put on Instagram that I was covered. Yes, you recover appropriate when I responded with some really, oh, I'm taking myself out for. On a date and photo of like, and I made a joke about not a funny one. But a joke consents I hope you have consensual consensual gray consensual sex, and soon as I sent it so funny. God forbid, it's met with like okay like that seen I'm jumping around with in the first second. I'm so two girls were a date rape joke, which is based on a real thing that I did tonight, a party, there's I have to contextualize the scene is for those of you haven't seen it Lena is applying for a job micro. Big lease the boss, and they're getting they're actually flirting and getting along so, well, we're gonna phone lines. If that's on a different way we spend the rest of our lives together, and it's civil Ganic and there's chemistry and like you guys seem and it's nice because you've been dealing with them drivers, kind of, like more. Yeah. And rough hang and certainly not attuned to your needs. And here's a guy who seems like oh man this, and you make this great show, but it's a rate date. Rape. Joe joke about. He went to Syracuse and. Date rape. And then I'm like so like statistically, I was like I said something historically, like always said, I have a friend who went there, and she got raped was it you something, it's the statistics, like took a nosedive and it happened to correspond. When you left the school. Great show, and particularly character just like it does a one eighty second about-face, great acting does not, which, by the way, his reaction is like that of someone who date. Rape someone like that totally totally what has occurred and, and that joke..

"But then came and I've only been able to watch the one minute highlight clip, I can't watch the full five minute speech. But Lena Dunham brings up the mother of the seventeen year old girl who was assaulted who Lena Dunham publicly called a liar at the Hollywood reporter. Awards at a Hollywood reporter event brings her up on stage. She has she's Mike she has a microphone, but Lena Dunham is not allowed to speak as Lena Dunham goes through a speech saying me me me. I learned I learned I've changed. I'm sorry. I wanna say publicly favorite line. My favorite line is when she says I allowed the patriarchy to pollute my thinking. No, lena. You just did what you did. Deluded? Yes. Your entire brain is polluted by being a rich spoiled bitch. Now, let's let's complicated even more. Yes deadline reports Los Angeles DA declines charges against girls writer and EP Murray. Miller case has been dismissed. So here's the thing. I don't know Murray. I don't know this woman. Don't I have no doubt to doubt? I have no reason to doubt either of them. I have I was not there. I do not know what happened. But I will say this. What really pisses me off about this whole, Lena Dunham thing is now you see this. Let's let's just say for argument's sake. What if the guy is innocent? Okay. Let's just say for argument's sake. What if he's guilty? What if he's guilty? She goes out publicly throws the girl under the bus. Then when that's because that's what works for her at the then when that doesn't work for her anymore. She goes out and throws the guy under the bus, right? And in either of those cases, if he's not in the position that she's claiming he's in as far as guilty concern. What it all back down to his Lena Dunham does for Lena Dunham? She brought this woman on stage to make yourself. Look good and get her fucking round of applause. She said the first time, I know I know that he's innocent. And then later exactly as you're saying now, I know he's guilty. What are you talking about or what she's talking about playing with people's lives? Yeah. Wayne ah have. Here's here's my problem with the whole thing as I said, I have no reason to doubt his accuser. And I also have no reason to cast aspersions against this, man. When I don't know anything about the situation than the information of read publicly, but my point is this I have a tendency to believe victims as most of us, do that's a good thing. I think that we all do that. But Lena Dunham has she is removed. From that argument or debate or whatever you wanna call it or stance perspective, she has zero integrity. She doesn't give if if she figured out that the best thing for her to do was gone stage and bring Donald Trump up there next to her and talk about how she was wrong about him. You can bet your fucking ass. She would do it. Right. You can bet your fucking ass. She would do it. Lena. This is not a metoo discussion. This is a Lena Dunham discussion. She has no integrity. She sucks. Her work sucks. She's annoying. She's not funny. She's a spoiled brat. She was fucking escort into this business by people that were able to bless her with. Exorbitant amounts of money. So she could fund her projects. Rich parents as well as got very rich. That's what I mean. I'm talking about her parents. She's got extremely rich. Parents. She's she had very connections in very high places. She grew up next Meryl Streep or something like that. Or they're very dare. Their vacation homes were close together. Who who does not understand a non-privileged experience? But pretends that she can write to it. And I really liked the first and second season of girls the first season in particular. I was like this is something new. I like I as into and then little by little you're like, oh, wait..

"That's all I was going to say it's not like going to art school are like being this way about your art. Isn't it seemed like the root of it? But it's like, I know people, and I think a lot of people listening. No, these people, and if you went to art school, you definitely don't talking about these people who go to art school. It's just that as long as you provide a paycheck of twenty five grand a semester, they're like come in. It's all good like don't worry about it. Like, I've had these art schools come out to me like as if I'm a star student led to me of our economy of our. I mean, oh my God. When they got busted for complete lying. All the job providing I was like, yeah. It's a scam. It's a for profit school, and everyone I know who's gone there is a nightmare. Yes. I mean my God. So no trying to say is this like these people art school? They get paid everything by their parents. They can do whatever they want their the teachers can either agree or disagree based on like a variety of progress that just don't even like possibly relate. And like, you know, a lot of people really are it's going to get connections, and to you know, try things out and then learn their shit. But a lot of people who go there that regardless of their experience they're pretty much there because they can because they have the freedom to not really do anything for people around. They don't work. They get their parents pay their dorm bills, and their parents pay everything they need to do they go to art school completely free. No loans. No, baggage that have to actually make it or do anything. They can pretty much just use. This are in use their talent. However where they want and get away with it. And then you parents that are wealthy enough and have enough captions, which the ones who go here don't have to work, do usually the your parents just plug it into the system, we all know about this like David becomes son. Who's like photographer at sixteen shooting provoke? I'm like there is no reason or KENDALL. For love magazine being in a mall like being a model, even though she cannot walk like, it's just like. And then he knows his photographer. We it's to shoot all of her famous. Best friends. We know and call it are we know this is real if you have connections in your parents have the money you can just shot right into the talent. And this one I'm getting from the denim. Just like did you not know anybody who had parents who were famous in the art world in the eighties. Got an HBO show go off, and I'm like, no, actually, Lena. It's not the fact that like your parents called the HBO office and was like, by the way, HBO swear to famous artists, and we want you to give our daughter a TV show. We're not insane people. But the money the access to people we will watch it the access to people who will talk about it the access to people who will give you things for free or at no cost whatsoever. Because your parents are both famous artists the amount of people that you know, and can call up as a cause like listen. Lena Dunham would not know people like Allison Williams who was Brian Williams sister more. Zo may whose dad is David, mama. Like, David Mamat Divet moment. You You know know what what I'm I saying? m e t. Like, she would not know how to call those people to be on her TV show, if her parents were not Carroll Dunham and Leslie Simmons like, let's be real. Now, we also know that like the only way you can a lot of times make him very adoptable and know exactly what type of people you're working with a lot easier. When you've already been in those circles, or parents are these people we know that and also like. The thing is is that when you. Base. You know, your ignorance in your, you know, blindspot of race off the lack of diversity experience in your grow. You know, the way you've been growing the circles you've been put into by your family. I do understand the partner that I really do. I know as someone who is you do miss out on things that you have to learn later..

"What do I think of her? I don't think of her. Yes. How you? One. Charon you. Listen darkness has endured the podcast studio immediately flake, I can feel the eye of evil. I've sore on it self like piercing through the walls line down. The light is blind. I cannot feel my face. I can't feel anything about me. I'm shaking to my core. I am distraught. I am emotional. This is a topic that I I feel like I need to be arrested by the FBI for like what I've found out just googling this subject. It's horrifying to me. You know, like truly there's a terror that gets like strikes accord like pulls the heartstrings of kind of what it feels like today. It feels like something's very wrong. I don't think I'll be able to do this podcast ever again goes up. So guys today, we are going to be discussing our two least favorite things. We're going to be one discussing Lena Dunham profile in the cut, and then we were going to be going on a little bit of a deep dive a little journey into some stuff. I found out googling her two parents that she always is accused of using for like nepotism purposes, they are two famous artists. Leslie, Simmons and Carroll Dunham. And we have some things we'll get into that. We found out some stuff it's dark. It's depressing, and it's wild, and we're just gonna launch right into it. This is eating for free. Just it's for free. I am local artisan and local bread maker mouthy Lawson. I am FBI's number one. Most wanted internet menace Jones summers. And we're here together. Same room. Our late lunch episode in the siding. I'm excited. This are like multiple if late lunch episode, I I don't know the exact number. But I know that we've been doing them for quite a while. Now like a few weeks in the new format. I think is the girls are living. I get a lot of messages on Instagram from the girls Engaz alliance on what they're enjoying on. What they're not enjoying. They tell me about if we love impartial Queen with. They're not liking though unanimously is Lena Dunham say so that's why we're doing this. We're here to tell you everything we've discovered I would say this episode is just in summer, you know, about intersectional feminism. Darkness evils. Why New York needs to sink into the ocean? Why the art world is comprised of what we're going to find our white people making evil white people are based on their evil intentions as Eva white people are Unabomber Fay's and and paid subscription television. Okay. So okay. So you can start it one's going on. Yeah. So I was accosted early this week Monday morning actually the day that we record and some of the other girls in case group posted Lena denims profile in the cut. It's eighty thousand words long. It feels like it was the writer Allison p Davis. Yes. And this profile is titled yet. I'm not for anyone. Lena Dunham comes to terms with yourself. It's a photo of her soaking in a Manhattan high-rise window, and I read let's village, I read I read a spot all of it. I don't blame anyone for not reading anyone for judging without reading it. Because your judgments are probably right article confirmed nothing that I didn't already know. But it only provided more history of which I judge like we so tired. We just begin with her texting the author ten times in a row being in the hospital fibrosis benzodiazepines nineties camera filters. We talked about surgeons I'm like Virginia Woolf writing letters with emojis. And nobody cares. We talk about the negative use of her new show camping on HBO. We talk about you know, bad jokes memes. Hysterectomies she brings up Jack antonoff her ex boyfriend and quite a bit. And a quite quite a bit. For six years, which I actually do forget all the time. It's kind of shocking that like Viagra of Lonzo ram, Lena Dunham, and like all pop culture is like really right here. And it's kind of center of it, all, you know, you think that Jack antonoff ceiling Carly Rae, jepsen and Lord soles inside of a magical. Sword is part of the reason he in Lena Dunham broke up. I mean, definitely she'd probably tried touching. The sword reacted. She was not paying magical pop curious..

"Indoor back and Lena Dunham guys is back in the news. She is making a movie about the refugee experience. Syrian refugees Syrian refugees. Yes is Syria part of Manhattan that I'm not aware of. I don't know what the fuck like this for Jj Abrams, and Steven Spielberg or something. Yeah. I just read the headline, and I kept moving I kept moving. I don't know any other details aside from that. And that was enough for me to know, what is their missing anything here. No. I mean, like, I think it kind of I think Spielberg is interested in this kind of thing. Right. Because the show foundation has been doing a lot of work like connecting the Syrian refugee experienced what happened to Jewish people like decades ago, and like this is the same thing going on now. So I understand why he wants to tell this story right for sure, right? Why? It's Lena Dunham. I mean, I don't believe that you have to have experienced something to write about it. I don't think it has to be like a Syrian refugee writing the script Yarrow's. We'd only be writing movies about the twentieth century. Yeah. Right. And she look I think the best version of it is she has articulated her experience so deep like she such an insular writer, and like writing about her own stuff all the time if she can translate that until like fully realize the the human reality of being a Syrian refugee. That would be amazing, right? But I yeah. It seems unlikely given her. Cataracts on. But yeah, I mean, Dave Eggers was a guy who like made his name writing sort of a very up his own ask brand of memoir ish writing. And then he did a pretty good job eventually documenting like other peoples experiences. He wrote a really interesting book that he said was like a nonfiction novel called what is what would what is the? Yeah. And to roads Zayd tune which he admitted was nonfiction about a immigrant in New Orleans who goes around saving people during Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath and then is put in prison, and like suspected of terrorism for just being basically a Brown person in New Orleans because Katrina was so fucked up, but anyways, I mean, I don't know. Maybe that's like the aspirational version of this is that she has kind of realize. That she's tapped out of stuff about her own life, and is ready to move onto the next thing. I mean, go write a story about how OBI J fucking curved you. You know, what I mean write that script? I just feel like it's for something as like so nuance than like about this Syrian refugee experience at the very least. I agree that she has talent as a writer and things like that. But I like this can't be the only option to to to do this. And not that it has it can't be Lena Dunham? But it just it was a chin rubber from. Sure. Yeah. No, absolutely. I mean, but I think yeah..
Steve Bannon dropped from New Yorker Festival
"Hear that interview to be honest. I think David Ramic is amazing, and I would have liked to see him takes the van into task. What was interesting is Steve Bannon when he talked about it after he was like, look, these, this guy was courting me for this event for a year. It seem like I can understand that. I really understand the position that there should be no space taken up for ideas like that. And I also really do understand the other position which is we have to know our enemy and we have to know as much as we possibly can about what we're fighting against. So

The Sugarbakers Might Live On: ABC Is Developing a Designing Women ‘Sequel’

So there we go look at that designing women who John smart and your sugar Baker Dixie Carter as anti pas, delta Burke, the whole thing. So it ran from September twenty ninth nineteen Eighty-six until may twenty fourth nineteen Ninety-three and you'll all remember it centers on the lives of four women and one man working together at an Atlanta interior design firm. Jenna Jameson Opens Up About The Tough 'Mental Aspect' Of Losing Weight
"Why? What I know the parent star and star of other things you just one of. Those people but she posted there before and after you know she gained a bunch of weight she's also gotten sober and I, don't want to read the whole thing it's, kind, of lengthy you. Can do, it, on your own. But I do want to reach us a little, part and, tell you that I found myself totally relating. To, it because. Who? Knew The life of Jenna Jameson in mind you know basically overlaps at least insofar as not the person part No Let's here's what she. Said let's talk about the mental aspect of losing weight and getting. Healthy I'm going to be honest with. You when I was, heavy I hated leaving the. House I felt judged I felt is on me. Everywhere I could hear others internal monologues, saying, well she herself go. In basically she just talks about that. Shame. Right and then she talked about losing weight when she was, sober and this is something that I totally. Remember like when I got, sober they would tell me things, like you, know you need to focus on your. Sobriety don't worry about anything. Else like I still smoked and I. Did I ate whatever I. Wanted I didn't work out or, anything and they were, like you, know you can deal with all those other things. Later but, really right now you've got to focus on the whole getting sober. Thing and so once I got, sober I was, like, oh I guess I'm just going to have to be fat miserable right in my. Head that was the only option I had given myself and it was slow shortly, thereafter where I found that I was able, to you, know put all of that shaney stuff aside and really focused on the things that the deeper things that were Portent like without getting all on you You know some stuff clicked and then I found I was able to actually do those things happen Able to be. Much healthier I lost weight I started working. Out and I was still able to maintain my sobriety and that. Was something that I really didn't I, was very concerned and it seems silly now thinking about that but at that point in my life that. Was a legitimate concern that I, have that actually had an effect on how I lived my. Life, and. So when, I read this it was an either or thing you couldn't have both an yes exactly It's also very familiar territory for, people who've been sober because you'll, hear people, say, things like well I guess you know my days. Were having fun or over now I just have to be like a boring person who doesn't do anything well now I'd like revel, in my boringness by that I, mean I don't need. To be, out until three o'clock. In the morning, to have fun so it's just one of those sort of life lessons that you, learn or typically people often learn once they get sober and as I was reading this I. Thought oh she. Totally gets it and I can totally relate she goes on to talk. About a bunch of other things that she. Was able to deal with to dealing with depression in addiction which. Is a whole separate topic but very, relatable stuff thank you Jenna Jameson for that and you know I just any time a celebrity is willing. To be vulnerable and share their, story truly for the purposes of allowing others to hear a. Voice, that Might be familiar to them not. Necessarily for, praise for for for their own journey and thinking about like Lena Dunham type Lena's. Not in it for right this is clearly jealous Jamison sentence sharing her road knowing that people like you or other people, who might even be in the, middle of, a, struggle will read it and think I see myself. In that and I you know this person who I thought maybe had all their stuff together has struggled through these things and I, always I always commend celebrity who, shares a story like. That that, is so relatable that. You would Bradley, be finding something to relate to Genoa Jameson about
