The idea behind this tactic is to generate interest in your products. Make sales and engage your brand with potential customers however the ability to market effectively is a pain point for many small businesses and it was a recurring theme at this event in this episode. We discuss how to attract more customers to your business by understanding your competitive advantages in using your strengths to promote your brand. Stay with us your business. If you're looking for innovative tools techniques and strategies to grow your business invest in your success with your host. Dr orlando's guilt in hello and welcome to episode four of the knowledge catalyst in this episode. We take a deeper look at the brand trust. Customer dynamic often misunderstood by small business owners exhibiting at events like weakened pop up shops before we begin it is important to note that pop up events present. Small business owners with a unique opportunity to directly interact with customers. Here is a typical scenario. A potential customer walks up to your booth and will you about your product or the company. At this point you will start to give your sales pitch upon completion of your presentation. The customer may have a few questions will thank you politely. And move to the next vendor. Does this sound familiar question. What value did the customer received from this interaction. A few business owners may reflect on the last discussion to see if they can improve their presentation while others will repeat the same sales pitch for the duration of the event. This interaction highlights the pain point. We touched on in the pre show introduction namely the ability to market effectively. So let's analyze this discussion in more detail. When a customer asks you about your product or company what they really want to know is why should they buy from you. First every prospect you interact with his providing you with valuable observational information and marketing insights like age ethnicity nationality gender income marital status and brand affinities from items like purses clothes jewelry and shoes. You can also gather high level inferences about their personality opinions attitudes and beliefs therefore before while giving your sales pitch you should engage prospects in a discussion to learn more about them in tailor your presentation. According to their wants or needs that emphasize the benefits they will receive using your products again. Remember your main focus should be on providing value second to build trust. You must demonstrate an understanding of products competitive with yours in substitutes. The customer may consider purchasing in lieu of buying from you. This is an important concept in a key. Part of building your brand knowing your competitive advantages and how your product is positioned relative to the competition will yield big dividends so what is a competitive advantage and more importantly. Why should you care a competitive advantage. As a capability or characteristic that enables a company to outperform the competition this allows a company to achieve higher profit margins and creates value for the company. A competitive advantage must be difficult if not impossible to duplicate. If it is easily copied or imitated it is not considered a sustainable competitive advantage in other words a competitive advantage differentiates your company from the competition. It contributes to the ability to set higher prices. Attract more customers and promotes brand loyalty. Establishing a competitive advantage is one of the most important goals for any company however finding or creating a competitive advantage challenging thus before a competitive advantage can be created. it is important to know the following one. You must be clear. On the benefit your product of service provides it must offer real value for example will the benefit offer convenience save money provide personal satisfaction prestige or security to what are the characteristics of your ideal customer and target market and finally who are your competitors. And what are they offering. When a small business goes to market highlighting. Its unique competitive advantages ensure your advantages are specific in not too vague for customers to appreciate for example. Don't promise customers. You will ship out their orders as fast as you can make the advantage clear and easy to grasp instead promised to ship all orders made before four thirty. Pm on the same day they were ordered and you have an advantage. Customers can easily understand. Here is another example. Saying you have the best. Customer service isn't going to translate into a competitive advantage however initiating a unique policy that directly benefits. Your customers will certainly count as a competitive advantage. And we'll be the reason people choose your business over your competitors the key to successfully gaining a competitive advantage as to make a clear concise an easily recognizable distinction between your business and others in your industry to be easily recognizable. The advantage must be demonstrable and easily proven to customers. This will build trust remember customers. Do not buy from people or companies. They do not trust keeping up with marketing trends and not being left behind is a vital aspect of creating a competitive advantage for example if your competitors are using mobile apps and mobile websites your business should also go mobile before. You're the only one who hasn't failing to go. Mobile could make it more difficult for you to attract new customers however if you launch mobile apps as well at a minimum it will help keep your business competitive. A well run. Business might identify multiple competitive advantages when developing a marketing strategy but be cautious about casting too wide a net and weakening the impact of the advantages. Identify the ones that will bring in the most money and focus on those. Of course the biggest mistake companies make is to promise a competitive advantage that they can't deliver this leads to unsatisfied customers. Who won't return not to mention the loss of potential new customers. If you received bad reviews often you're competing in an environment where advantages are slide. in subtle. your advantages may not be apparent or your offer maybe similar to the competition that for all intents and purposes. It's the same but even if that's the case you still have to answer the question posed earlier. Why should a customer buy from you. You need an edge something that triggers the all important purchase decision. So at this point you may wonder how can i create competitive advantages for my business. Here is a list of six common approaches. You can use to create a competitive advantage one. Focus on your online reputation. Today consumers compare reviews on most products and services before purchasing. If you're at the top of the list in terms of your ratings and review comments it gives you a strong competitive advantage. Reputation management is now a vital marketing tactic. Not only do you need to earn positive reviews with great service. You also need to make sure they appear across multiple review platforms google in particular conversely a negative review put. Small businesses at a distinct disadvantage. It's a problem that can jeopardize your business to get the most out of reviews elicit specific comments from customers that reflect the most important aspects of the value you deliver us testimonials on your website that feature names and ideally pictures of actual clients consumers today. Want to know what your customers have to say about you. They trust this content and they expect to find it. Make sure your top rated in your market number to develop a clear and specific value proposition. Your value proposition is where you most directly provide an answer to the question of why a consumer should choose you. This is where you make your case even if your service has basically the same as dozens of other providers you must create a message that distinguishes you from the competition. Maybe you have a slight price delivery advantage. It may come down to customer service. Perhaps you have a unique specialty or work better with a particular type of customer when you develop a value proposition. You answer the in spoken question on. Everyone's mind what's in it for me without this answer. You're just another face in the crowd number three. Be the best information resource. The internet is often called the information superhighway and consumers use it with a keanae to find businesses. That offer unbiased useful information. Informational content through blogs videos and social media gives you a competitive advantage in multiple ways. I when you fill information gaps. That help people solve a problem. You are in trust. People feel like you're doing them a favor and even feel a sense of obligation to work with you because you help them. For example appliance parts. Pros does an excellent job of providing information on their youtube channel. They provide clear. Do it yourself. Instructions offering information to support the use of their products. As a natural part of the service they provide take a look at your market or their information gaps that tend to cause hesitation with buyers. If there are new filled with the high quality useful information you create a powerful competitive advantage. Number four be likable. This is a competitive advantage. Few businesses consider but its impact is huge people. Bhai from people. they like. they're drawn to brands. They have a sense of affinity with the question. Businesses face has to use online marketing to create a likable presence. There have never been better ways to use marketing. Collateral to create a friendly relationship with prospective clients think no further than having facebook friends or the personal touch of instagram photos. Social media is a great opportunity for a business to express its personality. You can be personable. Funny even reverend if it's done properly if you can get people to laugh you've helped your sales 'cause it's also useful to create a voice for your website and other marketing collateral voices the personality or a part of your branding that lets visitors. No there are warm funny carrying people behind your business. Content the internet is full of dry uninspired business content most business owners think they must be dull to sound professional putting some personality into your content as an effective way to be more likable which is a big competitive advantage when surrounded by dull sales copy from your competitors number five segment your target audiences. Most smaller businesses have one marketing campaign that targets all their ideal customers. Notice the word one in the previous sentence. Small businesses can create a big competitive advantage by running multiple marketing campaigns. Marketing is not one size fits all people respond to content that is reflective of their lifestyles and specific to their needs in other words. If someone searches for healthy snacks for truckers. They want to see content that connects directly to that search. If a homeowner wants a deal on a water heater replacement they're more likely to convert on a landing page. That specifically has a deal on water heater installation. Likewise it's powerful to segment campaigns based on demographics if you're targeting baby boomers you won't do well with ads that feature people in their twenties. Smaller businesses typically skipped campaign segmentation because it requires more work in a larger marketing budget. Therefore it gives you a big competitive advantage when customer segmentation has done with precision and finally number six collect and use data to make informed decisions. One sure way to failure as to expend minimal effort setting up an advertising campaign. you can't set and forget your marketing and expect to be competitive digital activities. Leave a trail that marketing contract using data. You can identify what works. And what does not then use the data collected to refine your copy split test. Ads refine your target markets and measure conversion rates. The key takeaways from today's discussion are to use the pop up shop event as a data collection opportunity. By using the knowledge insights collected. You can identify create the competitive advantages which provide the most value to your customers. The pop up shop as also an excellent occasion to test and refine your marketing strategy. If you'd like to learn step by step how to create a competitive advantage for your business. How To Deliver A Course When You Havent Delivered A Course Before

"There's a ton of continental though and how to put on a course. But i mean just delivered one. I'm with at all still fresh in my mind. I'd like to show what i know now that i didn't know a few months ago if you want to create course but the prospect of it feels slowly overwhelming. Let me break it down into manageable sections the idea build up and the actual event to his comes to when it relates to the idea. You have to know your overall audience. Whatever your topic you have to be clear on the change you believe your students can achieve by studying it. There has to be a clear outcome for them. That they'll miss out that don't attend. Then you have to build the course around what you stand for you make it far easier for people to sign up for your course when what your delivering a line to what you stand for. The flag already. Put an the sun and a known for deviating off into a completely different space. Make selling your calls that much harder to find a way to make it relevant timely as listen in course content in the space people already know you for find a way of tough it into the coach. Zeitgeist to make your topic more timely. For instance you. The media month of learning centered on helping people find momentum in the content marketing and kane as it did offer year of not backs frustration and pain. Now here's what's relevant to the buildup to build an audience before you even think of delivering. This is the most important point if you invest time and effort into the structure kontinen delivery. But you don't have a subscriber base. This is an audience that already received and engages with emails from you. You're facing an uphill struggle to get people to commit. If you have an old him you've built up nurtured and can reach out to it. Becomes far easier for them to say yes. With the youth april you the media month of learning the audience number sixty eight paying attendees and they paid either two hundred or two hundred fifty pounds.

Pawan Dhingra, Amherst College After-School Academics in an Era of Remote Learning

"After school education is taking hold during online learning at schools. I'm dr lynn. Pascarella president of the association of american colleges and universities and today on the academic minute ponding gra professor of american studies at amherst. College wondered if it helps or hinders children now. The remote learning has become the norm peres increasingly worried that their children may not be learn as much as they can. This anxiety has fueled an already growing interest in for profit. After school tutoring companies as kumaon math nauseam and others even for children performing well in school visit. Despite many educator says that such learning can limit children that it works as educational inequality what drives parents to invest your time and money after school education. And does it make sense to do so. During my research. I spent time with more than one hundred families who pursue supplemental education for their young children and talk with teachers called emissions officers and others. I found that parents whose children are doing fine in school. Still seek out after school. Academics were to make them competitive often worried about entry to college parents. He neighboring kids in such spaces and so worried that their kids won't be able to keep up. also learned. That tutoring works better under certain conditions and that respect not all companies can provide those conditions. Instructors need to be able to connect the content children's experiences to make the children more interested. For example what's more classes are most effective was smaller tutor student. Ratios parents use outside. Learning centers should ask how those businesses incentivize learning ask for references. If she doesn't prove resistant stop you want to instill lifelong learners. So their interest is essential education landscape is changing and private companies are playing more of a role we to understand their popularity and their effects nor to create the learning environment. We want for all children. That was tallin dhingra of amherst college.

How to Run Effective In-Person and Online Workshops with Dr. Isabeau Iqbal

"Welcome to episode number eighty of the ground blogger podcast. This is the podcast for helping them exchanged the world through online business helping you by giving you the tools and tips strategies. You need to build an online business around your research experience and your background around the change. You want to make in the world. I'm your host doctor Crisco. It is episode. We're doing interview on how to run an effective in person and online Workshop to do that. We have back on the podcast. Dr. Iqbal from he's the boat, and we're really excited get around the podcast. Dr. Iqbal. Thank you for coming back on. Thanks Chris for having me back and really happy to be able to have this conversation with you today suppose you have been listening to the last couple of weeks and months. We had a table on an episode 74 the podcast talking about starting a coaching business as an academic her background their her story about how she started her her business where she coaches ambitious perfectionist dead. And around the higher education space talk about her journey things like how she finds clients and just overall some ideas around how to build up a business as a coach some really important takeaways there were around focus on doing just that make sure you get the skills actually be able to build a business what you're doing. It's not just coaching people you have to do but you have to actually sell services and build up an infrastructure there as well with certification a lot of other important topics as well. I want to get Isabelle back on for a couple of reasons to talk about this process of online workshops. So reason number one is that Workshop facilitation. I'm not exactly sure why but maybe she can can point out but seems to be a place where a lot of academics start there entrepreneurship journey. I think they probably have some skill sets in this already and they start doing and finding a good at it and they kind of built this up as a home service offering it they can do at other universities. The second kind of reason is if you're doing one-on-one coaching like, you know all the coaches who had on the podcast for it started with then moving dead. More towards as many to one model moving more towards workshops where you can teach and coach and help multiple people at once seems to be a place that that coaches and academic coaches in particular seem to gravitate towards as well. So in this episode over and talk about why should you consider adding workshops to your business model and talk about what are some of the common key components around planning and effective workshop and delivering an effective Workshop or how how to keep paging aged and maybe even more importantly if you want to keep the business running keep an organized there's happy and what this does look like as we transition in the space over in today to online more online learning more online workshops more online events. So as always, you know, the transcripts of this podcast episode at gravatar.com. Eighty. That's 801 probably pull out a cheat sheet with tips on running and planning effective Workshop from this intervention download at that link as well. So Isabelle we covered your kind of story your backstory while you got in the business how you build your business over the last number of years and episode 74 taking this one will probably just jump right into why wage In your business. Do you include workshops as part of your your business model? Sure. Yeah. It's pretty much what you were saying just a few moments ago. So initially it was really because off I have experience and comfort and designing and facilitating workshops from my career as an educational developer at a university teaching Learning Center. And I really enjoy Sylhet ating. So it seemed like a natural place to a natural thing to to include also as I talked about in that previous conversation that we had. I was initially trained through a tool called the Clifton strengths assessment and that approach is really focused. Well, not only on individual strengths but also team's strengths and team collaboration. So it did seem also like a really good fit with with that approach and then of course in terms of Revenue wage So what you were saying just a few minutes ago again was around. I do the one on one coaching and then to have an offer where I could also offer request with groups. It helps me in terms of having more reach and more impact in in that way to that makes a lot of sense and I have seen this come up with folks are inside the self tanner Community people they worked with and coaching where you if you're doing one-on-one services and it doesn't have to be coaching. It could be website design. It could be any sort of service of that your your business office told there's a there's inherent maximum roof. You can only you know work so many hours in a week. Hopefully, it's less than than fifty sixty seventy. Eighty. If you're if you're doing things, you know the wage like to see and maybe less than forty or Thirty if you're really dialed-in and sure you can charge more but charging more is also a tough one cuz it's not, you know charging 30% more is pretty hard to do age. Turning sixty percent more is even harder to but the end of the day, how do you charge you know, ten times or a hundred times more it's hard to do on 121. You can really move into these other models. We can serve more people at one time exactly wage. Yeah, so someone's just getting started and they're thinking well, I I do have some skills and workshops. Like you said, I understand some of the tools and I'm interested expanding into this. I think we zoom out to sort of rain this, from what are the key components around planning and effective Workshop where the pieces that we we should dive into in the rest of this conversation. Yeah, because the planning is so crucial to say you are running effective workshops. So I have eight suggestions around planning effective workshops. And the first is to to learn more about your clients need so often I'll get a phone call or an email and it'll be a really vague requests. We'd like a workshop around strengths and that dog Tell me a lot. So one of the very first things I do is request a phone meeting where I can find a little bit more about what the client is is 1:15, and that is so so helpful find things about you know, who the participants are going to be their age their backgrounds their education, whether they know each other down there strangers. So those bits will really help with the with the planning and then another part around client needs is how do they want to work together? So some people want to be more involved and others don't and I think that it's really important to to know that up front because it will help ensure their satisfaction with with the process. So that's that's one piece and I'm not sure if I should pause if you have follow-up questions or questions continued.

Congress will lease voice is one of the strongest and most prominent today we talk about her work as a college student, a member of the Black Panther Party and what Congress is, do we to fight systems of oppression to reshape reimagined our political world? Congresswoman Barbara Lee thank you so much for joining us and happy belated birthday. Breaking very good happy with you. I'm really excited to talk to you today and for our listeners, the congresswoman is such a legend and all of her work that she has done in. Congress over the years especially for Black Brown and indigenous communities by I have to ask you this question because it's something that I just wanted to talk to you about for so long is. You were a part of the Black Panthers. What was it like being? Black Panther I actually was not a member of the Black Panther Party I was what they call the community worker community workers had a lot of responsibilities as the Black Panther. Party. Members and remember the Black Panther Party began as a result of police Gupta brutality and the African American community. I mean. They stood down the police because things, police, murders, police Retali- as we know now were occurring then and they were the first organization that really took the police on, and so it was out of that that the Black Panther party formed, there's the Bible programs because it was not only an organization that address police brutality, but it was an organization that addresses chemic-. Racism and poverty. and. So what I did, and which was really phenomenal work and I was a single mother on public assistance with two little boys. I helped sell newspapers like math a newspaper on street corners I actually participated in the breakfast program for children who didn't have whose parents didn't have enough money to buy food and that's actually the breakfast programs from the federal government. Actually. Started as a result of the of the models that the Black Panther party you. I also really worked with you. He knew then did the research on his book Revolutionary Suicide. It was really phenomenal project I got to know Huey Newton Bobby Seale, Elaine Brown, Erica Huggins Joan Kelly, who just passed away and many of the leadership of the black. Panther party because community worker and student I was very involved in a lot of the work with party members. I actually brought Shirley Chisholm got involved in politics through the first presidential the first. Time. A black woman ran for president and that was sure children who was the first African American woman elected to Congress and so the Black Student Union president I invited her to come to milk college where I was attending and I got involved in her campaign by herb insisting that I register the vote and I had a class go because I didn't WanNa work in any of those campaigns. Well, bottom line is working her campaign and got the Black Panther party really involved in voter registration efforts. I. Was the one that went and asked Huey Noonan Bobby Seale to consider becoming politically active around early Chisholm campaign and they did. So I worked on all phases of the black. Panther. Party and all the different divisions I actually bag groceries. You know the panthers had a whole ten point program which again, the Free Breakfast program for the kids They started the Community Health Center Movement by instituting the George Jackson free medical clinic they did sickle cell tests. In fact, there was the Black Panther party that raises awareness about sickle cell disease as a as a disproportionate impact African Americans Fast Board Twenty Twenty people in the African American community and Black and Brown news still struggling disproportionately as it related to food security food desert healthcare disparities, unequal education. I. Helped. Start. Actually I wrote the first proposals for the Black Panther Party community learning center. They establish a Black Panther party school and so I was very instrumental in working on that project. So I did a lot of work with the Black Panther Party and I can just speak to how phenomenal they were and how necessary they were and how we should as we move forward. You know there's this Symbol in a gun and Andy. In government in Ghana called and Copeland. If the bird beautiful bird looking back holding an egg in her mouth and like in order to move forward in order to blackboard and you have to look back, we have to know our history we know where we've been and we have to build upon that so that we can move forward it. Now a wonderful young people in the Movement for Black, flags, or dreamers all the movements that are taking place are a continuation of what I see as the civil rights movement of of today, as well as what Black Panther Party actually started as it relates to stand down and and thing that that policing in our community. chain stop disproportionate killing black, and Brown people

Amy Spowart, Head Of The National Aviation Hall Of Fame

"Many years especially when right field was more impactful when the foundations of today's age were taking off so much research with here at Afrl, and there's all kinds of research and aerospace research places that are here. It made a lot of sense Scott Crossfield even said to me once amy, you're not a pilot unless you through right field everybody who's anybody flies through right field, and of course, you know in the early days, there were Ayla celebrity who always came on China and it was John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart. Who's who I remember? My first enshrinement in nineteen ninety, nine Ted Williams came at Joe Foss. We've had John Travolta Dennis, quaid miles, O'Brien all been and sees it the hall of fame event but I would say following the economic downturn of two thousand nine and companies started to pull out of the Dayton area. It was harder to get that kind of support. So while the city of Dayton wholeheartedly loves having the hall of fame here we also Need people who can sponsor because we receive no federal state or local funding at all whatsoever. So we have to depend on aerospace aviation companies industry to support US and in Trimbe it was a big help us getting brand recognition. It's never been moneymaker. It's part of our mission to memorialize. So we need people to support our education and support are learning center through sponsorship. So what we decided to do in two thousand seventeen is actually take quote unquote. Show on the road, the Oscar night of aviation left Dayton and we went to Dallas first, and then we went to DC in twenty, eighteen and Denver and twenty nineteen than we were supposed to have a homecoming here in twenty twenty. But of course, the this year has been postponed until two thousand, twenty one we're working on getting is back to the National Aviation Hall of fame in Dayton use an abbreviation there a F- on the Air Force research. Lab. So. Here Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Employees. I think it's twenty to thirty thousand people in. Southwest Ohio, and only about less than half of those are active military. So there's a lot of research scientists here, and that's where the United States air force does all their most important research everything from what they're going to build aircraft out of to what their munitions do and Jet Propulsion. It's all located here in Dayton at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Still is very much a hub of aerospace activity. especially from the military and. Speaking of which there are signs that the or the appeal of aerospace is not resonating with the youngest generation do you sense that and if so is the hall responding in some way? It's hard because it's just like covert. The company's nonprofits that survive cove. It are the ones who are going to adapt and react to the situation with kids with this next generation they're not so much looking up lake weeded or the generation before me did Neil Armstrong stood in one place and what's fair to the sky and we all know the Wright brothers played with a little plastic helicopter type thing that inspired them. So we need to appeal to kids in. What interest them? So that might be if they're interested in the environment, they WANNA make less noise from aircraft. They want less jet fumes from cargo plane. That kind of thing we have to say, why not you? Why don't you figure that out? It makes me think of enshrining clap Myra who wanted a safer jet plane. So he thought about it and thought about it and he Allen Clapp mark came up with this idea of putting a parachute on the top of. A plane and everyone's like that's not gonNA work except the vision jet is pretty remarkable. So what we need to do is have kids interact or read about or they have to know who Bill Mayer is, and it isn't just Alan Shepherd. It isn't just the astronauts it isn't just the inventors it's all the Chinese and they can inspire kids more than just an aviation. It could be designed it to be dreamers that could be artists, but if we all have. Heroes. That's what gets kids going and if we give them a problem like make less noisy aircraft or might be a kid who's a Gamer and they sit on the computer all day, they're actually going to be fantastic drone pilots. We just have to recognize what they're doing and adapt to it.

Thank. You GotTa get you some tea. You've got try it. Yeah, I'd love to. Rent this ball? I'd love to. I've made my own sort of combinations like that before just playing around in the kitchen. But it's. It's awesome to know that there's actually a a product on the shelves that people can go to tonight I. Talk About Tulsi Basil it's come up in at least a third of my interviews I ended up talking about it just because of how. Powerful of a medicinal plant, it can be and just how good it tastes. Different varieties tastes so good establishes it really is. So, before we get too far into all that, let's backtrack a little bit. And just share with folks there listening Very spoiled a little bit, but what you're doing what your mission is and how you've to where you are now as well as where you're headed. Oh! My Gosh, well! If I tell you how I've gotten here, yeah, this will be a series not. A one time podcast, but guy here Jason the same way I think. I have a rabbit. All my destinations in life. I take a creative paths. If someone says, go right there straight ahead. I am going to go right than left than I may. Even do a circle right eventually. Get to where I'm going, but by the time I arrive. I pick up so many lessons along the way so. With the farm I actually come from a farming background only counting the voluntary farming generations but I would be considered fifth generation so on my maternal side they very much have followed and. In Life, even with my mother and her brothers all college educated, which was a tremendous accomplishment for my grandparents. My Grandmother Charity who I attribute a lot of my upbringing With her, she actually attended college, but they all moved back or found themselves back growing and. I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to have anything at all to deal with farming I wasn't getting paid. There were all these creepy crawly things. It's hot. It's hot I'm Alabama you know growing up. Really Hot yes, so I tell it out there I graduated early at seventeen was a smart kid, but i. also you know was a product of divorce eventually ended up living with my maternal grandparents. wasn't one of those kids that you know when. The adults in my life saw I was having hard time. It was a hey. Maybe we need to give some therapy or counseling. US emotional support in. Old School we're GonNa. Try To whip you into. What we need for you to be, and that did not quite work with me. I will use one of the kinder. Additives that I was called young at a young age, and that was. I was headstrong, but I was smart so. I usually could get out of most weapons, but not all of them so I left I took off and went to college and never. Never really thought about becoming a farmer per se I've always been attracted to growing I've always had a amateur interest in medicinal plants had some recollection of knowledge that my grandmother shared with me, and my mom shared with me. Of course I wasn't really that wasn't my saying so I wasn't necessarily trying to retain all of that knowledge, but some had definitely stuck with me, and so I had a little bit of a green thumb, but you know if I had to pick up and move. I was a military spouse for a while. If I had to leave the plants, I was heartbroken over now today. Totally totally totally different, but so I laughed. Start Living Live You know working on becoming an doll making those wonderful mistakes that if you can live through, you've got a great story to tell hopefully some wisdom to to go along with it and had wet. You know full while I was trying to find myself professionally. Special time being teacher of been the mental health munition actually and eventually graduated got a degree in marketing Oh, and by the way Jason I left out couple of details, I was also time teenage mom, so I'm figuring all of this out in Afghanistan. Little ones that you know while you have to provide some some stability for because apparently, if you don't they go haywire so working on figuring all of that out and ended up going into marketing. And eventually ended up becoming a fundraiser
