Washington Examiner: Inflation Reduction Act Doubles the Size of IRS

"Great analysis over at the Washington examiner by Jake Lee Leahy. This plan, which will step up enforcement mechanisms within the IRS. It's going to end up hurting the middle class. He says the additional funding for the IRS adds up to $80 billion over the next decade, it'll double the size of Uncle Sam's debt collector and put 87,000 new IRS agents into action. The result will be increased audits on small businesses and middle class taxpayers across the country. I mean, there's no way it's just going to be the top earners. You can't invest in that kind of manpower and not audit. They're going to be able to perform 1.2 million additional audits. That's not just going to be billionaires. Now, honest to goodness, is this something that anybody in America was yearning for. I got to meet the one person in the country. Who sat around and said, gosh, I hope Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and Joe Manchin get their wish and we can have more IRS agents and double the size. Double the size. Ted Cruz pointed it out. Gov. Ron DeSantis Suspends State Attorney Andrew Warren

"Announcing that he is suspending a woke George Soros endorsed state prosecutor. Take a listen. The constitution of Florida has vested the veto power in the governor, not an individual state attorney. And so when you flagrantly violate your oath of office, when you make yourself above the law, you have violated your duty. You have neglected your duty and you are displaying a lack of confidence to be able to reform those duties. And so today we are suspending state attorney Andrew Warren effective in media. And I say good for you, governor, there is so much great content and sound bites coming out of that press conference. This was absolutely phenomenal. This is how you do it, folks. This is how Republicans win the day. You see, so many Republican governors, and we've got one here in Tennessee. His name is Bill Lee. And he won't do something like that. He'd never go after the state prosecutors who refused to enforce the law. And by the way, that's what Andrew Warren is accused of doing. Andrew Warren went out there and announced that he doesn't care what the Supreme Court decided about roe V wade that they would not be prosecuting any abortion cases in Tampa Florida. He was literally going out in front of the cameras and daring the governor to do something. And guess what? Ron DeSantis has the man parts to back it up. Ron DeSantis got out there and he's been doing this from day one.

Thanks Charlie grot to be with you. Thank you. So I want to talk to you about this story here. FBI, director ray, are in for a rude wake-up call over the Hunter Biden investigation to your latest piece up at the New York Post NY post dot com. What do you mean by that? Well, on Thursday, Christopher wray, the FBI director appears in Congress before they oversight committee and the Republicans there are planning to really grill him on a few very sinister and concerning issues that have come to the fore in the last week. And you probably know already about chuck gresley has had several FBI whistleblowers come to him and give him information that basically the FBI just sat on buried the Hunter Biden information that came out in 2020 in August 2020 when graz Lee and Ron Johnson were both investigating the Hunter Biden and burisma corruption connections. And then again in October 2020, which was, of course, the month that we at the New York Post broke the first story from Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop and October was also the time the month that tiny bubble linsky, the navy veteran and former business partner of Hunter Biden came forward publicly to say that Joe Biden was involved in his family's influence peddling scheme that Joe Biden was the big guy who was slated to get 10% of one of the Chinese deals and that Tony bubba linsky himself had met twice with Joe Biden to discuss these deals. The Decline of America's Military With Captain Henry Hendrix (Ret.)

"Given that huge breadth of experience in the navy in The Pentagon, reviewing the history of the United States Navy, what is the state of the U.S. Navy today? We're largely broken. The navy is too small for the task that it has been assigned. And we can see this in that the combatant commanders, the regional combat commanders, demand about a 110 ships to be forward deployed in any given moment. And in fact, we only have 298. And so we're talking about per combatant command. No, no. Total worldwide. Reagan's was what Reagan's navy was 600. 600 ships. And at that time, we maintain a 150 ships out at sea at any given moment. Serving, doing naval presence missions, power projection and everything. So right now, that's what we have total. Yeah, we have 298 total in the fleet. Serving at any one time? Yeah. And so that's why we broke in the fleet. So we didn't have enough time given the demands for all the ships to be four deployed to properly maintain them at home or train their crews. And so if you remember back to 2017, when we had three collisions and a grounding result in the deaths of American sailors at sea, it was largely because we weren't being able to do all this at home cycle because we were under demand to be forward and today we've decreased the number of ships that are forward deployed. But what that's done is created power vacuums in places like the South China Sea that other nations have stepped into to fill like China with the building of the artificial islands and so on. So really it's this decline of the navy that's invited this competition that we're seeing at sea right now.

"End studio captain Henry J Jerry Hendricks, U.S. Navy retired. Welcome in studio. It's a pleasure to be here. Thank you for having me, doctor gorka. So we had a super fun discussion. I think we bought everybody around us because we got into the nitty Gritty of national defense, the navy personnel, very, very rapidly at this little soiree. Tell our audience, who you are, what's your background and what you have done in and out of uniform to serve this nation? Well, I joined the navy in 1988 out of an ROTC scholarship at Purdue. I served in the P three community doing maritime patrol and reconnaissance. I flew in Saudi Arabia during desert storm. I flew over Yugoslavia during the 1990s doing maritime surveillance over land doing ISR. And then 9 11 occurred. I was actually here in Washington, D.C. serving with the chief of naval operations staff when 9 11 occurred. I knew a number of shipmates who were killed in The Pentagon. My career sort of changed to strategy after that. So I went back and got a master's in diplomatic history, became a strategist largely worked for Andy Marshall in the office of net assessment. Yoda. Yes, and it's a great pleasure and honor to work for that man. Ended up working for the secretary of the navy as the director of his advisory panel and then finally, because no good deed goes unpunished, I served out my last three years as director of naval history since they figured out I had a PhD. And then I retired and I worked in a think tank as ahead of a defense program and now I work as a consultant and also with the sagamore institute of think tank in Indianapolis, Indiana. All right,

NY Rep. Lee Zeldin Discusses Attack at Campaign Event

"Talk about your experience a week ago. I texted you as soon as I heard you up the next day, what is the latest? I know the New York authorities, local or sheriffs released the person who attacked you. How did it go down? Give us an update on everything that happened to you. The latest update is that over the weekend, the U.S. attorney's office charged this person and he was re arrested and he's currently being detained. That night, right after the attack had taken place, I was saying that we can't be seeing this attack or get released back out on the street due to cash flow, but I was predicting that it was something that would probably happen. It'd be wrong if it would happen, but that's New York's cash flow spare law for you. And ensure enough just hours later, he was released. New York's cash flows bail law is resulting in all sorts of stories all across the state where people are getting released from prison without any type of judicial discretion. We just had an issue a few weeks ago in New York where two Mexican cartel drug smugglers were busted with 1.2 million dollars worth of crystal meth and they were instantly rereleased back out on the street due to cash flow spell. I'm grateful for all the people who are thinking quick on their feet there Thursday evening. Instantly within a moment, jumped on stage, they subdued the attacker. I'm grateful to the Monroe county sheriff's office. They responded quickly. They were there within minutes and they were professionals. And fortunately, this didn't end up any worse than it did, but it was pretty nuts. What did happen?

Andy Puzder Explains How Biden Caused the Inflation Crisis

"Andy, last night, Lee and Garrett and yesterday, Dwayne and I were coming back from lunch and then Uber, driven by Ali. And all he's a great black guy who is getting on my case. He's seen me on MSNBC and NBC, and I don't think he watches Fox. And all he says, do you really think Joe Biden causes inflation? I said, they spent $2 trillion that we didn't need to spend. Of course they did. And then they added on the infrastructure Bill. Of course they caused inflation. I don't know who they want to blame Putin. What do you think of that argument? Well, the argument that Biden didn't cause this is ridiculous. Larry summers came out, who was the Larry summers isn't like some far right Republican. You know, he's not going to be having lunch with you and Andy. This is a guy from Harvard who was secretary of treasury under Clinton. He ran the council of economic advisers for president Obama. He came out before they passed this $1.9 trillion bill and said, do not pass this bill. He came out in The Washington Post with an article that said, this will ignite inflation. You're going to end up with hyperinflation if you pass that. They pass it, and it ignited hyperinflation. Jason fuhrman, another leftist economist, said the same thing. Steve ratner, who was an Obama economist, said the same thing. Do not do not do this spending bill. They did it anyway. It ignited inflation, and it caused the current problems we're having. You know, look, if demand is way up and the fed's trying to bring demand down, don't spend money. What you could do, what you couldn't do to support the fed's efforts is try and increase supply. Because if supply and demand meet, it doesn't matter how high demand is. If we have enough supply to meet it, there's no inflation. That was the case under president Trump. Plenty of supply, plenty of demand. Now we've got this excessive demand and limited supply. Encourage the supply side. Reduce regulation. So businesses want to produce. This is the key to the key.

'The Return: Trump's Big 2024 Comeback' With Dick Morris

"I'm sitting here with the great dick Morris in the studio, the brand new book is called the return Trump's big 2024 comeback. I get asked this all the time and I know you get asked much more often to get asked that more often than I do. But who do you think you think Trump's going to come back? And I'm amazed that people don't understand, of course, he's going to come back. I mean, first of all, let's deal with this. It seems clear to me that the election of 2020 was stolen. Even the idea of that smoke comes out of my ears because I think what else is there to talk about, when something that despicable could happen in a great nation like this, that's the headline. And when you're told, don't talk about that, let's move on. I know you're guilty. And so I don't ever really want to let that go because I think that it is contempt for we the people, which is to say contempt for America. And don't talk about it. It's criminalizing talking about it. Trump is trying to borrow Trump from ever running again because he said the election was stolen. And that's an insurrection. And that violates the Fourteenth Amendment to try to keep Robert E. Lee out of office. Jeff Davis. And people who, like Rudy Giuliani, who prosecuted the fraud and investigated. And now accused of meddling in the election. But I mentioned to you on the radio show, I think. Shall I go into that now, the more versus Harper case, the, I believe, anything you want to talk about is a thing of the past. I do not think any fraud will happen in the 20 24 election. Why?

Dr. Larry Arnn Describes the Drama Unfolding in Tennessee

"You just fill our audience in a little bit about some of the drama happening down in Tennessee? Well, yeah, so we're intending to start a bunch of charter schools in Tennessee. Governor Lee requested that I do that. We do that. And we're working on it. And there would be a lot, and it's a big job, cost millions of dollars, where working hard on it. And remember, the college doesn't take any money from any government entity. And that means the charter school, which is a government entity, never gives us any money. We had this last summer close to 700 parents, I think, on campus for ten days. We paid for that. Sorry, did I say parents, teachers, teachers come and they do workshops and with each other and with us. And we pay for all that. Because we don't want to be beholden. And there's the rub because the public education is a massive bureaucracy. In some ways, it's the heart it's the fountain and the heart of the administrative state. And it scandal, why are there more people working in public education who are not teachers than those who are? What are those others do? In a charter school, that number will be two to one in favor of the teachers or more. And what are the rest of them employed to do? They eat up more than half the money because their average salaries are higher. And so in other words, there's a great system of control. It's grown up remote from parents and teachers too for that matter.

"Zeldin is running for governor. He's a GOP candidate running for governor in New York. Boy oh boy, do I hope he succeeds. I wanted Andrew Giuliani, but Lee zeldin is a really good guy. You've interviewed him recently. And he was the subject, the subject. He was the object of a physical attack. Someone tried to kill him recently, and the news media essentially sweeps it under the rug. What world are we living in? Well, I would say that in New York State, it got a fair amount of coverage, but it certainly didn't resonate the way it would have if it had been a liberal governor running for the same post and another area. The interesting thing about this and I like Andrew Giuliani a lot. And I had he and Zelda in both on my show and the run up to the primary. I love the congressman for a lot of reasons. Rep. David Kustoff: The Left's Crime Policies Don't Work

"Going on here? What's happening with the district attorneys we've got a guy running who's a Democrat and he believes in raising the age of juvenile crimes to 25 years old. I mean, this is a big issue not just here in Memphis, but nationwide. So Todd, I'm a former United States attorney. I had the tremendous honor to serve about 15 years ago as the U.S. attorney for the western district of Tennessee. You know, you see big spikes in violent crime in cities all across the country. And I think it's an issue all over. But it really does matter who governs. And we've seen these social experiments with the very liberal progressive DAs play out in places like Philadelphia, San Francisco, New York, New York, my colleague, Lee zeldin, who was attacked and his attacker was released the next day without any bail fortunately, federal authorities later charged that attacker and arrested him. But when you look at this locally and you reference this local district attorney's race and you see national money, national progressive liberal money. Come in for the Democrat candidate, that tells you something. These experiments have not worked. They recall that very liberal progressive district attorney in San Francisco because even in San Francisco, they were fed up. You care about this community. I care about this community. I grew up here and went to high school here and went to college here. You know, the fact of the matter is one thing is the Tennessee legislature did something as you know in this past session where they passed a truth in sentencing law. And that hopefully will keep some of these people, these offenders locked up for real time where you don't have to play Chinese math and try to figure out how long somebody's in prison for it. But

And it had two holes where he had two fingers through the holes. They had two sharp dagger like edges on it. And he was telling me you're done. And obviously, in that point, regardless of whatever's on your hat, this was not a normal situation and there needed to be action taken. When he lifted up his hand and he was lunging for my throat area, the first thought was to grab on to his wrist and just to hold it because there were so many people around. You're an attorney. Washington D.C.. And taught at George stumble school for 20 years. Wow. So take a look at Lee zeldin, this guy comes at him. Now it's pretty clear to me this guy, this guy basically wants to slice Lee zeldin's head off. They arrest him. Charge him with a felony and then give him directions to the nearest McDonald's. Thanks. See you later. Oh no, I'll tell you. Look, I was a criminal defense lawyer. And times have changed my clients wouldn't get wouldn't get a low bond for something like that. They'd get a bond that they couldn't reach, so they'd be stuck in shield to protect the community and everything. But look, it's just terrible. But it depends on two things. One is the number of things. One is the bail laws. They have been relaxed is the DAs who are making the decisions. Three is whether the facility is overcrowded or not, whether they have the capacity to add more people. So there are a lot of factors, but when you attack someone who high profile person, you know, you're asking for trouble if you don't figure out a way how to detain them when it's a violent crime. And it's unbelievable that people look around and say, why are we having problems with crime in our inner cities and places like New York City well guess what? When you do things like get rid of cash bail and you basically have as a default, anyone more or less anyone who commits a crime, even violent crimes be let out, I mean, what do you think is going to happen, right? So sure enough, you have a person who assaulted with a knife, my friend leaves out in. He got wrestled to the ground. There's no question about what happened. "Two, I don't give I shouldn't be in this spot. I'm going to win the tournament. And that going on in this tournament where really? Some of these guys were battling and we're seeing three or four way flops at the final table, a lot of action, where usually when you're playing for a $1 million, it's kind of money, the ICM and all that. You don't see a lot of stuff like that. So it is interesting what you're going to get in these scenarios. Usually it goes towards the side, like you're saying, but this one in particular, I would say kind of went the other way. Oh, it's interesting. And I think that also, that's the advantage of someone like yourself with so many years of experience, is that you can make those adjustments where I think a lot of amateurs who go into final tables. I tell a lot of people, one of the biggest differences of people who have experience who have played for a number of years and considers themselves a solid player, if not a pro, is that they go in with a general strategy, but the one thing you'll know is that the odds of that strategy sticking all the way is pretty much nil. And how you adjust accordingly with the surprise actions of somebody or the changes like you thought he'd be more aggressive and he's actually tighter or whatever it might be. That makes the biggest difference because most amateurs go in with the strategy. I'm going to be aggressive and be aggressive. I'm going to be aggressive and then they don't know how to slow it down or the other way around. Do you think you see that a lot? Yeah, I think it's really important not to be too rigid in your strategy and I think Bruce Lee says like be water. Like be willing to adapt and fill the cup or whatever you're facing because if you go into a final table and say I'm going to bully everybody and you're opening and you're getting flatted three times by the guys in second and third and they don't care. That's strategy isn't going to work. So you've got to be willing to adapt and change and take what the table gives you. And usually if they're taking away something, they're giving you something else. So there's always a way through. You just have to find it and adapt. Right, right, right. And again, that's also experienced too because you realize what those are, et cetera. But before we get into that, let's talk a little, we've talked about this before, but I'd love to kind of get a little reminder for some of my listeners who haven't heard you on the show in a few years or just kind of how you started in the world of poker. Sure. I played cards a lot with my family growing up, especially my grandmother, not necessarily Texas hold 'em, but we played 5 card draw hearts, spades, bridge, those kind of games when I was really young. I played a lot of hearts online in my early teens, like 1213. I was at one point number one in the world in hearts online..

"So certainly, and the game has been poker was growing really well in Ukraine. And I always had hope for growing live advancing Ukraine at the time because I think it's just a great place for a number of reasons. People are very friendly. It's very cheap and key of was like very tourist friendly. It's an expensive and it was easy to go to, you don't need visas or anything. So it was just easy to go for from all over the world. So I always supported kind of I was always hoping to bring back international poker tournaments. Thank you, crane, but it was always difficult with regulations. But then like a year ago, they actually, you know, they regulated like gambling and poker. So it was actually coming back. And we had a really nice live event that was run just a few months ago. In Kyiv, so yeah, I mean, obviously, before recent events, that's kind of where I was focused on my company. Clash would look at Pagano, mostly. And then also kind of being an ambassador for poker match and doing my best to grow poker. And while I don't play poker professionally love the game and I always my dream was always to kind of play it. Go back to playing it recreationally. Right, right, right, right, right. Which is so funny to hear because so many people, so many of my listeners right now are like, that's what we do. We do recreationally. But it is such a great sport to continue to play and obviously there. And again, I just really want to make sure people who are listening and the show is about to celebrate its 15th anniversary, the Bernard le poker show. And I think that people who have just started listening over the last several years, you may not understand or know this name, but Eugene catch love was one of the best players in the world about ten years ago. $2.5 million in 2011 player of the year, 2007, won over 2.5 million, as I said, one of WPT for over 2.4 million. A WSOP bracelet multiple caches. I'm talking dozens of caches in the World Series. This was a player that was plastered everywhere for about two or three years in the world of poker. You go on poker news. Card player, everywhere, this person was, has been on our show talking about his achievements. Forget what we're about to talk about. So really want to put that in perspective for people who aren't. And by the way, everyone has Google. Go look them up. I mean, you'll know who he is. He's being a little humble as he quickly just glanced through his poker world. We could do a whole show just about that. But we're very pleased that we can talk about his experiences as well. During the invasion, unfortunately, of Ukraine. And his kind of escape from that situation. So we're talking about Eugene castle off here on the Bernard Lee poker show. And you move back, like you said, to the Ukraine..

"Forward to seeing you on the felt. Welcome back to the Bernard Lee poker show. We're very fortunate to have this guest on I have known this gentleman for a number of years. He's a bracelet winner back in 2000 11. He has won over 9 $1 million in career earnings. He also back in 2007, won the Doyle Brunson 5 diamond championship also for $2.5 million. He is the all time leading money winner for Ukrainian poker players. And this gentleman went through a harrowing experience during the invasion of Ukraine and has been on media outlets such as Fox News talking about his experience. I'm so glad that he is safe and I'm so glad that he's able to share his story with us here on the Bernard Lee poker show. Welcome to the show. Eugene catch a lot of Eugene. Thanks for joining us. I believe once again on the Bernard Lee poker show. Yeah, thank you Bernard. Bernard and it's good to be back and yeah, it's been a wild ride all starting from poker in Ukraine and leading to what's happening there NASA. Happy to kind of bring light to this. Yeah, during the whole process, I was thinking about you a lot. I DMed you on Twitter back and forth and wasn't sure and I would have told you on your shit if I didn't get any reply, but man, you were really on Twitter a lot, helping the world kind of experience it firsthand and you replied back. And I was really, I was happy and pleased that you were safe and going through that experience. Before we get into it and I'm very excited to understand it and I think a lot of my listeners will be excited to understand what is is that I'd love to kind of understand the history of everything because in some respects and back then it wasn't the Ukraine. It was still part of the Soviet Union part of Russia. You were born there and had to leave what is now the Ukraine, but was part of Russia back then, right? So I'd love to kind of hear that background first talk a little bit about your poker, obviously exploits and then go into what happened. So what happened when you were a youngster? Sure. Yes, I was born in 1981. In Kyiv, which at that time was part of the Soviet Union. My parents were my dad personally like he hated the Soviet Union. He was always kind of looking forward to escaping from there. He just hated communists and he always kind of dreamed to be able to have the chance to leave. So I think when we had the opportunity, we let my dad actually left in 1989 and my mom and I had to stay behind another year or a year and a half and then we left in 1991, but it was still we actually left on the day the Soviet Union fell apart, which is kind of crazy. But yeah, by basically we were leaving the Soviet Union and going to live going to live in immigrating to the U.S..

"It heads up or period, like ramp up the variance for them. Like making call off with their big draws. And cooler them sometimes. Just gamble with them a little more because they don't want to do it. And I totally, okay, we're going to limp in mid raise, and a lot. We're not going to do anything but that. And then, and then we're going to read about the very, very, very bottom and the absolute top. And that's all we're going to do. And eventually we'll play this guy for 8 hours and he'll go nuts. 30 minute didn't he took 20 minutes. I three bet queens, and he just ships like 40 some odd big lines, I think, with ace Adolf. And we just hold the winner bracelet. So there's lots of adjustments that were much more easily made on the way when the 5 K final table happened, I had a pretty pretty fun rail and one of those guys on the rail is a much a couple of them are much better cash 6 months cash players than I am actually. They're very, very elite. No one really knows who they are. And I had them watching this watching the feed and I was constantly going up to them during the table on every break sitting within our sizing was bad here. This is what it's supposed to be. This person's doing this and now we're going to open up our three beds and four of us to this and they were really helping make sure your suggestions as to where the one kid just wasn't necessary. The adjustments were so much more minor. Right, right, right, right. Well, Scott, I mean, congratulations. What a incredible summer. I apologize. We need to get a chance to talk about endgame talent that you are president and CEO of we're going to have to have you back on to talk about that as well as you start expanding that, but incredible run congratulations and you are the inaugural 21 WSOP, no limit hold them player over the year. It's fantastic and wish you all the best. Thanks, man. Thanks for having me on. Scott ball here on the Bernard Lee poker shows we are having 2021 WSOP winners great to talk with another one stay tuned as we continue our interviews and in March, we are going to have a special month. We'll get to that in a week or two and talk about it and as always, may you always go in with the best hand? And may you never get unlucky? Good night, everybody..

"App now. Welcome back to the Bernard Lee poker show. We are talking with the 2021 WSOP no limit hold them player of the year. That's right, not just player of the year, of course we had Josh REA to kick off 2022, but this is the WSOP no limit player of the year. He had 9 cashes in the WSOP in 2021, one over a $1 million and also two bracelets, the 5 K, 6 max and also the little one for one drop. Those two combined was almost a $1 million and now he takes home that player of the year title. Let's talk a little bit about the 5 K 6 max first. This is a very, very tough field. I've played in it before. It's not over a thousand players. This year is only 604 players. You look around, it's everyone. This is a very, very elite. If you, as a poker player, want to challenge yourself. And can not afford to buy into the 25 K or the hundred K buy in. And I'm not saying you wouldn't challenge yourself in the main event. But the main event is not a field where every single person at the table is a solid player. Or the majority of them are. If you want to challenge yourself, the 5 K 6 max to me is a doable price point. Again, we're talking about World Series, right? 5 K is not outrageous. It's not cheap. I'm not saying for people who play regularly $20 buy ins that it's a cheap event. That's not my point. But in the world of the WSOP where $1500 events are kind of the lowest buy in, a 5 K is not crazy. But you want to challenge yourself and you want to play against some of the best players in the world. I think I've said this before..

"Welcome to the Bernard Lee poker show here on February 8th. I hope you enjoyed my interview last week with the 2021 poker Hall of Fame inductee Eliza really had a great time talking to our good friend as he talked about, not only getting inducted into the poker Hall of Fame, but really kind of a walk down memory lane even from reminiscing about our show as he was one of our early guests way back when and we're about to celebrate our 15th anniversary so you can imagine how far back it was. But he also talks about his favorite mixed games and also a lot of the players that he has played in over the years Doyle Brunson stewie unger Billy Baxter Daniel nigra. And I really love the discussion about the high stakes poker and how that kind of all came about and really kind of how he became known to the general poker population. Follow me on Twitter Bernard Lee poker as you will have a chance to win the autobiography of Elias pulling the trigger and also follow me on YouTube again Bernard Lee poker as you will have a chance to win a copy of his book. Ellie Eliza is the 2021 poker Hall of Fame inductee and he's also a four time W show bracelet winner. So from one fourth time WSOP bracelet winner, to another, this week's guest will be Brian young. He is a four time WSOP bracelet winner as he won his fourth this past 2021 WSOP as he won it in the $10,000 championship limit, due to 7 lowball triple drop event. He wanted for almost a quarter, $1 million, but as I mentioned before, he is a four time bracelet winner. Many of you might not know who he is, but he has won three other bracelets prior to this year and a couple of them were very large events first one 2013 in the little one for one drop, which is the $1111 buy in. And it was a massive field that he beat out 4756 players to win over 663,000. He won the 5000 no limit hold them in 2014 for over 600,000 again. And then in 2017, won the $1500 no limit hold up monster stack event. This one had a huge field as well. 6716 people he won over a million dollars. So it would be great talking with this week's four time WSOP. Bracelet winner when we return, we will have Brian good on the show as we continue the 14th anniversary celebration and we are closing in on the 15th.

The <Speech_Telephony_Male> only time I ever <Speech_Male> mind when people do their <Speech_Male> blow up things, <Speech_Male> which happens <Speech_Male> a good amount of mixed <Speech_Male> games with the loss <Speech_Male> on the river <Speech_Telephony_Male> at after the <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> hand, they do that <Speech_Telephony_Male> thing where they look at their <Speech_Male> cards and <Speech_Male> look and look and <Speech_Telephony_Male> wait and kind of want, <Speech_Male> they kind of <Speech_Male> want to show their <Speech_Male> cards to kind of show their <Speech_Telephony_Male> table like, oh, look at the diabetes. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Right. And all this <Speech_Male> stuff, it's like a thing they <Speech_Male> do. It's not my thing, <Speech_Male> but it's just a thing <Speech_Male> that's done in mixed games. <Speech_Telephony_Male> I gotta kick out of the <Speech_Male> dynamic there. It's like, <Speech_Male> it's like they want <Speech_Male> sympathy or something. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Telephony_Male> <Speech_Male> If I lose <Speech_Male> a pot, I don't want sympathy. <Speech_Telephony_Male> I just want to move along. <Speech_Male> But <Speech_Male> they want some <Speech_Male> for some reason <Speech_Male> they want this <Speech_Male> validation or something. <Speech_Telephony_Male> I don't know <Speech_Male> what it is. They <Speech_Male> want everyone to know. <Speech_Male> Look what I <Speech_Male> play the <Speech_Male> hand right and they just <Speech_Male> can't beat. Yeah. <Speech_Male> I listen. I hope <Speech_Male> people always <Speech_Male> from my career think that <Speech_Male> I misplayed my hands. <Speech_Male> That's what I want. <Speech_Male> I want, of course. Anyway, <Speech_Male> yeah, <Speech_Male> they do that <Speech_Male> thing. And it's cool. <Speech_Telephony_Male> It's fine. It's part <Speech_Male> of whatever. But <Speech_Male> as long as they don't <Speech_Male> take too long <Speech_Male> to muck and move along <Speech_Male> online. <Speech_Male> So in this case, <Speech_Male> how many actually <Speech_Male> he did is like ranting and <Speech_Male> blowing up, but it really <Speech_Male> didn't slow the game <Speech_Male> down much at <Speech_Male> all. Only <Speech_Male> a little bit. He does <Speech_Male> it, that thing for a <Speech_Male> second, but he mucks. <Speech_Male> It move along <Speech_Male> that deal. The dealers are <Speech_Male> like the dealers <Speech_Male> Dominic <Speech_Telephony_Male> and <Speech_Male> Alex <Speech_Telephony_Male> were on point <Speech_Male> moving that <Speech_Male> game fast. So it's <Speech_Male> like, as long as <Speech_Telephony_Male> that's happening, <Speech_Telephony_Male> I don't mind. <Speech_Male> But if someone <Speech_Male> does the blow up <Speech_Male> stuff and they're like <Speech_Telephony_Male> not mucking <Speech_Male> or <Speech_Telephony_Male> there's time going by <Speech_Telephony_Male> the respect for other players <Speech_Telephony_Male> in the hand. It's like, come on. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> That's when <Speech_Male> I may have even called the <Speech_Male> floor in that case, but <Speech_Male> in this case, <SpeakerChange> it's okay. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Anthony, congratulations. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Four bracelets <Speech_Male> to this year <Speech_Male> and <Speech_Male> really seriously <Speech_Male> in the running. <Speech_Male> We hope that <Speech_Male> you take it down. <Speech_Male> If you do, we're gonna have to <Speech_Male> bring you back on <Speech_Male> and talk <Speech_Male> about player of the year, <Speech_Male> but congratulations, <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> my friend, <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> now four time <Silence> <Advertisement> WSO bracelet <Speech_Male> winner. <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> Thank you, Bernie. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Anthony Zeno <Speech_Male> here on the Bernard Lee <Speech_Male> poker show. "If he's got something you may even chuck raise me, you know what I mean? I let out because I know he's getting paid 6 to one. We just put in three bets on the pre flop. And I'm putting in one bet on the flop. He's calling me no matter what he has. Right. I don't think that he puts me on an 8. You know, I three bet pre flop, what hands three bat pre flop with an 8 inch, not very many. Pocket 8s do, but that's pretty rare. So I don't think he gives me anything, and he's getting paid 6 to one for the single bed. So I was very confident that he was going to call that that. Right. I believe that the turn from the four hearts? Yeah, turn comes four of hearts, so it completes the flush. Right. He has, so everyone knows, he has king four. So now he's suddenly gets tremendous value. If you don't have an 8 and you have blank blank two over cards, whatever, suddenly he's a monster in this flushed a scare him potentially a little bit. You bet he actually thinks a little bit calls. Right. The river is the ace of clubs, which is probably the worst car. Not the worst, but a very bad card for him and you because you want to make sure you get the complete value. I mean, like, I do have diamonds. He just snapped calls. He doesn't even think about it, right? Doesn't even worry about it, right? I mean, God, there's even a chance he could raise you for the love of God, right? So like, but that ace is horrible because if he's thinking, you've got two overs and that four is good, oh, crap. He might have just gotten there. And he talks himself. I mean, it was a tank. It was interesting. What are you going through during that tank? Please go please go, please go. What are you thinking? Well, please have the flush. Please have the flush. I hope I'm hoping that he's thinking about thinking about race. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't always know whether it's the full tank or the raised tank. Right. Right. It felt like the full tank, though, pretty quickly on. I mean, he can kind of give away his pelvis at that point because he knows he's either folding or calling. So if I figure out what his hand is, there's nothing there. So he let his guard down a little bit at that point. And then I was like, oh, shoot. This is a, this is a fold or call tank. Hopefully he calls. I don't know what he has here, but that ace suddenly looks like a bad card. I actually felt like every card was a good card for me. 'cause I was like, I mean, obviously like flopping quads. That's a wonderful feeling. Of course. The turn comes the four of hearts. I'm like, if he has any heart in his hand, he's now getting paid four to one. Right. And he could have an over at the hard or whatever. So I'm thinking he's gonna call me again. That's why I keep leading now. And I'm afraid he's gonna check behind. So that's why I keep leading up. And I'm hoping he hit the hearts. So I'm hoping for the raise obviously. And then the ace comes, I'm like, well, he raised pre flop, good chance he has an ace in his hand. I almost went for the check raise on the river. Thinking that he did have an ace. But I just decided for whatever reason that I don't know. I don't want him checking behind. I want to get the maximum value I can not. But that was the only street I consider checking was I did not consider checking the flop at all because I know he's paying me every time. The turn there was just I was afraid he would fold the turn, but I was just like, there's so many hands that he has to call. Any part, any pair, you know, there's a lot of hands he has to call there, and then the river, I was like, oh, hopefully he hit an ace. Right. Once that ace is, you must have been like, oh God, please, oh God, please let that happen. Right. In the moment I thought every card was good for me. And then when he thought on the ace, I was like, oh, shoot, that he should. I mean, I don't know what he's supposed to do. That's a really tough spot with the fours. The ace, he's almost always buried when I three flop in the face. But as we talked about in the limit, he's now getting paid what 5 to one, 6 to one? Yeah. It was incredible. Right. Well, that's there. And yeah, I mean, it was probably like 6 to one or something like that. And the difficult thing was the three bet, right? So you could see it. He was trying to convince himself. There's no way that I'm going to win. It was a bad card. Any other car? Literally, any other card Instagram. You're safe. Any other maybe a heart hurts you because he didn't have a heart, right? So that could have hurt you. But any other card I honestly think you snap calls. Like anything. 9, ten, yeah, he's like, whatever. Okay, if you have me, that kind of thing. You know? And that was the one card where he was like, you know, that kind of thing. That was sucked if he, if he folded, obviously on that one. Did you feel like I don't want to say that you had it at that point? Because you were still not a chip leader at that point. But did you suddenly start feeling like, this might be my day? At that moment, I felt that way woking up and nothing really nothing really. So I was feeling confident going in. I was certainly, I was not sure I was going to win the tournament until the 9 clubs hit the river on the final hand and my king high held good. Koshy was a very good player very strong. If he gets a run of cards, he's going to be able to run me over and you know, you're stuck. When you're playing heads up, hold them. Luck factor is huge. And he's a very good player. And if he gets a little bit of luck, think can swing very quickly. You're really at that moment, you're really, especially two really good players. You're really kind of almost at the mercy of the cards because there's like nothing. Like if he gets good cards and you don't, it doesn't matter, sorry, you're gonna lose and vice versa. You know what I mean? Like, it just kind of it's just what it is. You know, what could it be? You know, you could have like the worst scenarios you're gonna flop quad 8s and he had he literally missed completely and like you said, he would probably never fold there, but on the turn, if it's like the 9 of diamonds, he mucks, and that's it, right? And you don't get that 320,000 extra chips, which doesn't sound like a lot but it sure hell is. Still something significant, you know? I've got too close to even. Yeah, every big bet was huge. Right. At that stage of the game, every hand was critical, if especially if you're going to the turn of the river, right? Absolutely. Yep. Sorry, my battery's a little lower. No, no worries, don't worry. So just wrapping it up right now. Congratulations any more interested in going out. You're gonna go is this a now an annual event? Like you gotta play this event every single time. You know, people say it all the time. Like, I want it. Now I gotta play every year. You know, is this something or is it like, nah, if I go to the series all the way, but I'm not gonna make it, you know, I have to do this. I plan to play it next year. I guess I'll leave it at that. Gotcha. Gotcha. All right, congratulations. Fantastic. Win. Great for new englander. From Stanford Connecticut and to take down your first bracelet, congratulations and all the best, my friend. "I'll come back to the Bernard Lee poker show last week. We spoke with Robbie straczynski as he was having his inaugural mixed game festival, which was being held at the westgate Las Vegas resort from October 4th through the 7th. Basically it was mixed game cash games. And then it had a $200 horse tournament finale and the winner would receive a coveted platinum pass as well as the cash first prize. A lot of players came out to the event itself a 124 player field and some big names were there, poker news Chad Holloway, Linda Johnson was there as well, Jesse Fulham, who came on the show recently, but this gentleman not only attended, but he won it all including the platinum pass. He is a good friend of the show, and the 2004 WSO main event winner Greg fossil man Raymond. Congratulations, Greg and thanks for joining us here on the bernardi poker show. Thanks, man. Appreciate it. Glad to be on. You decided not to play in a bracelet event the day before and went to support Robbie and then this kind of just steamrolled into playing in the event, right? Correct. I had planned on playing the $1500 stud tournament. And that was the third day of the festival when it was still just the cash games. And the computers, I was about to leave in my room, the computers I saw on Twitter were down at the Rio and you couldn't register for anything. And they had already pushed back the stud event at least an hour. And I thought who knows how much longer and I just wasn't, you know, yet switched over to a late night schedule, really. And I didn't want to have to play until maybe four a.m. in that event. Because I knew for the last two or three hours of it, I wouldn't be playing my best. Right. So I thought, well, I'll skip that. And then now what do I do? And I was like, well, let's go support Robbie and the mix came festival because I'm all for mixed games. That's my preference. And I'm playing and people are asking me are you going to play the tournament? And I was like, well, no, because you get bonus chips for playing the cash games for those three days. Right. So for every 5 hours you played in the cash games in the Fourier dealer's choice, you've got 2000 extra chips on top of the 10,000 starting stack. And I was like, why do I want to play tournament where I'll have ten maybe 12,000 if I play here long enough today? And some people might have 20,000. Right. But then it was like, oh, wait, what about the platinum pass? And I was like, oh yeah, that does change the math. Right. You know, we already knew they only had 15 tables. So it's going to be a 120 players max. And if there was time for anyone to get in as an alternate, but this is all limit. So people don't bust as quickly..

"That's like go to casinos that you know. This is the one where i really like. Yeah honestly once you reach like five ten no limit level and and twenty area you you kind of need to be on the lookout for some private games. You can definitely survive with mixing in some five hundred ten twenty appalachia And occasionally like their games will break out at the win on the weekends and things like that But you definitely should be mixing you should be on the lookout for some private games And mixing those in as well. So i play some private games on apps and if if someone has a decent like for me like a great private game would be something. Live the bike or something like hustler casino. Assemble a good lineup. I have a platform on youtube. So they'll they'll invite me to these games. Sure got invited to play w. p. t. Fifty one hundred hundred game. I sold action to play in that game. Because i did not want to miss the opportunity. There was a businessman in the game. That had lost one hundred thousand so like because i have this platform. Now i'm able to stay on top of these. Invite only games some of these private club games. I still mix in the casino games. But it's it's tough man. You gotta you gotta really put yourself out there to find the good games. And and even when i do get in the game. There's no guarantee i'm gonna win. I gotta stop my study. You know right as i stay on top of my study is i- i- stake in a coach. Some people and that kind of keeps me talking poker. They have questions for me all the time. If i'm not sure on something. I go to my brother. My not sure on something. He goes to his coach. Who's who's a a nosebleed high roller. So we kind of have this ecosystem of the support that we kind of roll through when we come back. We're going to talk more with johnny about his tremendous success on youtube and talk about how that has really kind of taken over a lot of his time as well. We'll talk with that when we return here. On the bernard lee poker show. This is johnny professional poker player youtube blogger. And you are listening to the bernard lee.
